How to Make a Charm Necklace Magic-Style
✩₊°.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊°.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩‧⁺⋆⁺‧₊☽✧☾₊‧⁺⋆⁺₊✧✩₊°.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊°.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
Tumblr media
So in a recent post I talked about having a set of charms that I wear whenever I leave the house. I thought it might be a fun tutorial to detail how someone could make a similar thing for themselves! The post is a long one, so the rest of the guide is under the cut!
Tumblr media
Step 1: Lay out all of your perspective charms and see what speaks to you and what you might want to put together. When you're choosing pieces, try to think of your goal and intent while you're putting your charms together (i.e. mine is for general day-to-day so I mostly focus the charms around safety, ease of way, and good fortune. Tailor yours to what you need). You don't have to make a necklace, just make sure that whatever you're attaching your charms to and the jump ring(s) connecting everything are sturdy enough to hold the charms' weight.
I have a 'main' components and 'auxiliary' components with the main components being the anchor points and foundation of what I'm working towards (i.e. I have my locket with sigils and my key charms as main components and I'll switch out the other parts as desired). Listed below are some ideas for options that you can combine, but use whatever feels best to you:
Lockets- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that a locket is part of your configuration. You can fit a slip of paper with spells/sigils written on it AND if it's a scent locket you can add a bit of fabric with a perfume oil or a spell oil that would be safe to wear (check the spell oil ingredients if you're going to use a spell oil).
Bottle/Vial Charm Pendants- these are really good for wearable spell jars (you'd just have to careful about breaking them). You can buy pre-made bottle spell charms (there are a lot of options available) OR you can buy a vial pendant and do a working of your own choosing depending on your preferences/needs (there are also many options for empty vial charms you can buy). You could also keep spell powders/dusts in a vial charm (also usable for on-the-go workings).
Crystal Pendants- If you are someone who utilizes crystals in your practice, having some complementary crystals or crystals that you tend to favor can really add a kick.
Religious pendants/charms- Pentacles/crosses/saint pendants/deity pendants/etc. are all good options for this sort of configuration if they're something that features in your practice or you have a specific figure you want to invoke.
Symbol/Icon charms- similarly to the option above, charms that have animals/flowers/symbols/ whatever else you may want to invoke the properties/help of can be a good addition as well
Bells- bells have traditionally been used in different cultures for sound cleansing and to ward off negative spirits/entities. If that's something you might want (and are ok with making some noise) adding a bell might be a nice touch.
Keys- keys are useful magically for unblocking roads, gaining access, and invoking magic/energy relating to crossroads. Keys/key charms can be pretty easy to get too, so it might be worth trying to have one in your configuration.
Other meaningful charms: as it says on the tin, if it's important to you or you want to keep it on you, try it out in your configuration see if it will work well with it. In the picture above of my own pendant collection alongside more standard pieces there's an antique pen knife that can be worn as a pendant. Put whatever you want on these configurations is my point.
Tumblr media
Tip! Some pendants like the pendant on the right have a paste/textured back that you can write on. If that's something you'd want to do, aim for something that looks like the pendant on the right. It's a solid way to hide sigil magic in your jewelry.
Tumblr media
Step 2: Prepare the individual charms that you're going to be putting together. Clean/cleanse* everything appropriately (use mundane and magical methods), get sigils written out, anoint anything that you want to anoint, charge/enchant anything that needs it- whatever workings you need to do to the individual components of your charm necklace, do them now.
*If you're using metal pieces (especially if they're old/antique) there's a decent chance you may need to clean those pieces periodically with a metal cleaner/polish. When you clean the metal, do maintenance work for the rest of the configuration by charging/re-enchanting the other charms.
Tumblr media
Step 3: Put your charms together and test out your configuration. Sometimes things won't work together as well together or a different component will work better in your configuration.
Ending Notes & Tips
If you put something like this on an object, make sure you focus on how you need/want to effect the object. Like, I have another variation of this on a chain on my bag, and that working is more focused on security and being unobtrusive more than anything else.
Generally I would consider how fragile your individual charms/items are and how likely breakages are to occur. You don't want to be scattering any broken glass/sharp bits and you definitely don't want to cut yourself on anything in the event of any broken charms.
Other considerations should be if individual parts are safe to wear. As previously mentioned, select for spell oils that are safe to wear and for crystal pendants that won't interact with water/skin oils/body products (i.e. selenite melts in water and pyrite will create sulfuric acid when exposed to water). Basically make sure that having this on your skin isn't going to cause any problems for you.
It can be a a good idea to change up individual charms in your configuration to tweak things to your daily needs. Using my usual configuration as an example, I'll switch out my crystal pendants or other charms if I have specific needs/events for a day (like maybe if I'm traveling I'd add more protection/safe travel oriented charms or if I had a date on I'd choose one of my love/attraction charms).
I hope this gave you some ideas for your own practice, thanks for reading💜

15 Beautiful Lover-to-Enemies Dialogue Prompts | Betrayal Prompts
Tumblr media
"Do you remember the vows we made under the moon's gentle glow? How quickly they turned to ash, scattered by the winds of deceit."
"Your words were once my solace, but now they cut deeper than any blade forged in malice."
"In the labyrinth of our love, I found myself lost, only to realize you were the minotaur lurking in the shadows."
"Every kiss we shared was a dagger coated in honey, sweet yet deadly."
"The stars witnessed our passion, but they now mock our folly as we stand on opposite sides of a war we ourselves ignited."
"Our hearts beat as one, once upon a time. Now they drum the rhythm of discord and resentment."
"I thought I knew the depths of your soul, only to find abysses of betrayal waiting to devour me whole."
"Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I emerge from the ruins of our love, reborn as your adversary."
"You were the melody to my symphony, but now your discordant notes shatter the harmony we once shared."
"We danced on the edge of oblivion, oblivious to the precipice that awaited our descent into enmity."
"The echoes of our laughter haunt me, mocking the innocence we thought would shield us from the venom of betrayal."
"Our love was a tapestry woven with threads of gold, now unraveling into a tangled web of lies and deception."
"I offered you my heart on a silver platter, only for you to feast upon it with the appetite of a ravenous beast."
"We were poets of passion, crafting verses of devotion with every whispered promise. Now our words are weapons, dripping with venomous intent."
"The sunrise that once painted our love with hues of warmth and hope now heralds the dawn of our animosity, casting long shadows of regret across the battlefield of our hearts."
Short Note From Me!
Many fans of Enemies to Lovers often overlook the possibility of exploring Lover to Enemies. This underrated trope is one of my favorites and I believe it has the potential to make a novel truly stand out. If you have space in your story for this unique twist, I assure you it will result in an amazing read.
I created these dialogue prompts to inspire writers to explore the theme of lovers turning into enemies, showcasing a different form of betrayal.
Happy writing - Rin T.

May Week 4: Changing it Up
This week we will change it up from the depth of divination we've dived into the rest of this month and do some fun practical activities as summer gets on in full. Along with that we will still be doing the gem/ herb/ other study we normally do, but this week will be a lot of hands on stuff! So let's get our hands dirty witches!
Monday - What's in the cauldron?
Practical - Pick one of those Witchy recipes you see floating around, or just any recipe you'd like really! One you haven't made before or have been wanting to make for a while, and make it! I'm making honey lavender bread this week, along with a maple butter pork butt, cut into thick slices and kebab'd with some onion, pineapple and jalapeno! Write out the recipe, the directions, and if it has any ritual connotations/ magical associations or purpose, add those to the recipe!
Research/ New Page - Herb Study - Pick another herb from your list and go nuts! Study everything about it from its history and myths around it, to how to grow it and what its associations are!
Tuesday - Artsy Fartsy Witchy Stuff
Practical - Is there any craft you've seen on the internet or in a movie or show or even in a book that you've wanted to make that pertains to your craft and your practice? What is a better way to celebrate your craft than to get out and do it! Get the materials, make the craft and write up a little snippet about it and its purpose/ uses in your grimoire!
Practical/ Mental Health - Yeah, that's right, we care about mental health. Get up, get out, and enjoy the outdoors! Take a walk, drink some water, take your meds, take a nap and relax! Life can get so busy and it is just as important to take care of ourselves, mentally, emotionally and physically as it is to take care of the myriad tasks we have going on.
Wednesday - Dirty Hands? The doing is the thing!
Practical- Ya know all those herbs we've been studying. Well, at least where I live it is summertime. So if you're able, even if it is in a small planter in the house, get some herbs and plant them! Basil, lavender, lemon balm, thyme, sage, anything! Plant em and care for them. It can help give you a better understanding of the herb to watch it grow and care for it!
Thursday - Candles and incense and crystals, OH MY!
Practical - Okay, so its not all writing and research for this challenge. Getting your hands dirty is sometimes the best way to learn! So get a ritual, or spell (make one if you need to and want to!) and perform it! DO the thing. Whatever it is and whatever it is for, add it to your grimoire if you'd like! My grimoire is a few different books that collectively make up the things that pertains to my practice. I keep my spells and rituals in one book. My information in another. Recipes in yet another. Divination/ dreams in yet another. It's a nice little collection. But however you do it, make a page for your spell or ritual. Do it in your lab book if need be so you can look back at it and change it, expand d on it if need be.
Friday - Music, is it magic?
Practical/ Rest - Is there any music that you use to feel Witchy? Is there any music that helps you get in the zone? Make a playlist, or several if you're extra organized, and just put it on and listen to it. Feel it. Really get into the music.
Research/ New Page - Gem study/ Other - Whether it is the gem you're doing or another form of study, take time to really discover all you can about the topic you've chosen. Myths, legends, practical and magical uses! History, physical properties, all of it!
Gosh that's a lot even this week! I'm proud of all of you keeping up with this challenge and can't wait to keep going for the second half of the year! We're nearing that halfway point! Keep up the great work everyone and if you ever have any suggestions or ideas of just want to chat about the challenge, reach out to me on this blog or my main @thehazeldruid
Good luck and happy crafting witches!

Babysitting duty calls, Klarion
It another world threatening battle for the justice league, young justice against the league of Villains and chaos children before most of the chaos children froze as if they sense something bad was approaching and immediately dipped out.. except klarion whom was fighting with raven who immediately froze up too late in front of the portal.
Only for a green portal to appear, as a worned out floating glowing green, but blue skinned teenage boy who turn into a man with red eyes, a clock staff in hand and a glowing white hair baby in a baby carrier.
Klarion is literally struggling like a feral cat who got wet in cold water against some invisible force speaking in some odd static like language before giving up after half a minute when the man spoke back with a short word.
The man now just shape-shifting into turn elderly just gave klarion the baby carrier before noticing how the heroes and villains have stop in mid battles looking at both klarion and him.
"All in soon time, but be warn Flashes whom break the laws of times will get their due if you keep messing with the past and future." Spoken the elderly now shape-shifted into a young boy before he turn back to klarion leaving him a note and glowing baby bag before floating back into the swirling green portal.
Klarion could only look at note with his eye twitching, Teekl meowing as she climb into the baby carrier purring around the glowing baby.
"Why do I keep getting babysitting duty, it so unfa-..." klarion grumbled as he pick up the baby carrier and bag teleporting away..
....
....
....
"What just happened?" Said Dick whom only one question would be put on hold til later in the watchtower of what just happen before the fight resuming with the young and original justice league winning since the league of Villains were distracted.

hiiii, congrats on hitting 1k🎉🎉🎉 could you do prompt 106 and 68 with either mattheo riddle or theodore nott?? could you also make it fluff and smut !!
thanks, babe, ily 💘 i assume that you accidentally sent the same request, just with a character specified :) i decided to go with matty for this one.
Tumblr media
prompt list
68. "we just kissed."
106. "…this is awkward."
۶ৎ navigation ; masterlist ; mattheo m-list ; how to request
Tumblr media
18+ smut
"fuck- ahhhh, mattheo, just like that!"
mattheo growled, feeling his cock throb in his jeans at the sound of his name on your lips, moaned in such a needy, beautiful voice. he pressed you firmer against the stone wall and curled his two fingers inside of you, pressing on a spot that made your eyes roll to the back of your head. your lips parted in a silent scream, air coming out in short breaths as your best friend kept pumping his fingers in and out of you.
"you like my fingers, princess?" mattheo nearly hissed into your ear, the feeling of your nails digging into his shoulders being too good for him to stop his hips from jerking forward. you felt the hardness of his length pressed against the back of your thigh, your leg wrapped around his waist, and you swallowed at the thought of his potential size.
you didn’t want to admit it, but recently you’d been thinking about what mattheo was hiding underneath his pants a bit too much. you and your best friend had an agreement – if you felt especially horny but wasn’t in the mood for a stranger, he would graciously help you out. however, this arrangement only included his hands or mouth – a boundary placed by you, since you were, well, best friends. lately, however, you’ve been wondering a lot about his cock, and if it was all that the rumors made it out to be. and just in general, you started noticing that mattheo was actually a pretty attractive guy, with his messy curls, his deep brown eyes…
the addition of a third finger snatched you out of your thoughts, making you press your cheek against mattheo’s and moan louder into his ear, the sound ringing through the corridor and mixing with the music from the party barely reaching your ears. mattheo had to deeply breathe in and out to save himself from making a mess in his jeans right then and there – your moans were just too damn addictive.
"gonna cum," you whispered hoarsely, your hand unconsciously moving up from his shoulder to wrap around the back of his neck. mattheo gritted his teeth, increasing his pace, but not being able to stop his hips from bucking forward again – the need for friction was too strong.
"cum for me, baby girl. cum all over my fingers," he breathed against your cheek, and it was everything that you needed to finally let go. "matty…" you whined, your legs shaking around his waist as you slumped against him, pressed between the stone wall and his equally hard but very warm body.
the sound of his nickname in that whiny, perfect voice of yours did it for him. in a second, his lips were on yours, passionately moving and sucking and biting- your eyes widened at the sudden gesture, but you didn’t protest. of course, all boundaries went out of the window in an instant, but who could think about those when his lips were so… so?
when you finally managed to gather enough willpower to pull away, you were panting and grinning like an idiot, your wide, lovesick smile an exact match to that of mattheo’s.
"…this is awkward," you said, feeling your cheeks flushing slightly at the sight of mattheo’s wet, slightly swollen and very inviting lips. "we just kissed."
mattheo chuckled in response. "i mean, my fingers were deep inside your guts just a minute ago. i think we’re way past the awkward stage, princess."
you laughed in response and playfully swatted his chest. maybe he was right, after all. the kiss felt more intimate, for some reason, but you guessed that that was a conversation for another time.
"there’s something else that can be deep inside my guts right now…"

hi !!! do you have prompts for a wlw fairy x witch (urban fantasy coded)? thank u !!
Fairy x Witch Prompts
-> feel free to edit and adjust pronouns as you see fit.
The fairy landed softly on the fabric of the witch's hat, her wings fluttering closed. The hat dipped down from the added weight-- just subtly enough for the witch to notice-- and the fairy fell to her knees. She grasped the fabric with her small hands, peering over the edge to look down at the witch. Big, hazel eyes stared up at the fairy, and the witch cast her a warm smile. "I've missed you," the witch almost whispered, "it's been too long."
The witch stared down at her cauldron, brows furrowed and frown on her face. The fairy stood next to her, hands on her hips and analyzing the half-finished potion and the witch's reaction. "What's wrong?" the fairy finally asked, tired of waiting for the witch to reveal what happened with her potion. "I'm missing an ingredient," the witch responded, "and I have no idea where to get it."
"I love your wings," the witch muttered to the fairy. "I think they're beautiful." She softly pressed a kiss to the fairy's forehead. "I think you're beautiful."

Unlocking the Power of the Perfect Witch Character Name for Your Fiction Novel
Introduction
As an author, there are few decisions as important and impactful as choosing the right name for your characters. When it comes to crafting a witch character for your fiction novel, finding the perfect name holds even greater significance. A well-chosen witch character name has the ability to intrigue readers, capture the essence of your character, and contribute to the overall atmosphere and world-building of your story. In this blog post, I'll help you explore the art of naming a witch character and provide you with valuable insights to ensure your witch character's name enchants your readers.
1. Reflect the Magic
When naming your witch character, harness the power of language to reflect the inherent mystique and enchantment associated with witches. Consider incorporating elements that evoke magic, such as using words related to spells, potions, or mystical creatures. By doing so, you can make your witch character's name an integral part of their identity, amplifying their connection to the supernatural world.
2. Embrace Historical and Cultural References
Witchcraft has a rich historical background in various cultures worldwide. Delve into folklore, mythology, or historical records to discover names with strong ties to witchcraft. For instance, names like Morgana, Circe, or Baba Yaga immediately conjure images of powerful and captivating witches. Drawing from these references adds depth and authenticity to your character's name and enhances the overall believability of your story.
3. Individuality and Distinctiveness
Just like any other character in your novel, your witch character deserves a name that sets them apart. Aim for a name that is unique, memorable, and distinctive. Consider experimenting with unconventional spellings, combinations of sounds, or unexpected name origins. A witch character with a name that stands out from the crowd will leave a lasting impression on your readers, making them more invested in their journey.
4. Honor Personality Traits
Your witch character's name should embody their personality and tap into the essence of who they are. Think about the characteristics you want to assign to your witch character—Are they mysterious, wise, mischievous, or powerful? Choose a name that aligns with these attributes. For example, a witch with a strong and commanding presence might be named Hecate, while a mischievous and playful witch could be called Puck.
5. Consider Phonetics and Flow
When readers encounter a character's name, it should roll off their tongues effortlessly. Consider the phonetics and flow of your witch character's name to ensure it is pleasant to read and pronounce. Avoid names that are overly complicated or excessively long, as they may detract from the overall reading experience. Opting for names with harmonious sounds can create a magical resonance that captivates your audience.
6. Symbolism and Hidden Meanings
Delve into symbolism and hidden meanings to give extra depth to your witch character's name. Look up old languages, symbolic associations, or even numerology to add an additional layer of intrigue. Incorporating these subtleties can breathe life into your character and provide an added sense of discovery for your readers.
Conclusion
Naming your witch character in a fiction novel is an art form that demands careful consideration and thought. By following the suggestions outlined above, you can ensure that your witch character's name elevates your storytelling experience, captivates your readers, and brings your magical world to life. Remember, the perfect witch character name holds the power to bewitch your readers and transport them to a realm of mystery and wonder. Embrace this opportunity to create an unforgettable character who will resonate with readers long after they put your book down. Happy naming!

If ya’ll know Madoka Magica you will understand how beautiful and haunting the art of the witches that show up on screen are.
LIKE
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s gorgeous.
That unsettling feeling of seeing something beyond yourself, beyond your sense of consciousness and knowing that this could very well be your grave.
It’s a labyrinth of feelings, of misery, of regret, and wanting that traps its victims in a forever.
You know what else is unsettling?
Death.
Death and ghosts and everything beyond it.
So imagine with me then, that the Infinite Realms and those ecto-born and ecto-contaminated don’t see the ghosts the same way.
Amity Park and its residents see the invading ghosts as close to their real form in life as they are in death.
Those not touched by the Infinite?
They see them the same way as witches. Unnatural creatures that unsettles the mind and environment to allow the ghosts access to the living world.
Maybe that’s why Maddie and Jack Fenton do not see ghosts as sentient things. They have seen them as humans see them, things filled with misery and pain, stealing from those too foolish to wander in the Ghosts domain.
The GIW are much the same, seeing the ghosts as the ‘witches’ they are, not what they were.
Danny doesn’t realize how unsettling he truly is, no one in Amity Park baring the Fenton parents and the GIW do.
Not until he is summoned on his first official Kingly summon, unaware of the looming gaping horror that stood staring back down at the humans that lived outside of Amity Park.
