rereading witch hat altier has me so mad the beginning chapters with how everyone treats coco. like i get it agete has her reasons for treating coco the way she does and its completely understandable as to what drives her to do so- but also never in my life have i wanted to smack a preteen upside the head like i want to do with her. And then you get to the dragon incident where the three are drawn in with coco and then both agete and tetia turn and put the full blame on coco. And then coco just accepts it like its a natural thing and IM MISERABLE

I'm loving the manga subgenre where its a generic RPG setting, but the author focuses on day-to-day stuff. Dungeon Meshi being the most famous example.

I personally love it as well. Witch Hat Altier has the same vibe. Like.....I'm fascinated with how the mechanisms of magical invention WORKS in this world. And the walking wheel chairs.

Honestly the part of chapter 2 when MC finds Fadiya at the festival after being separated reminds me a lot of Coco from Witch Hat Altier and now i'm really scared for her. On the more positive note though i think Fadiya would love brushbuddies.

I haven't read that so I don't know what happens but I read a bit of Coco's wiki page and it made me laugh ngl I can't believe that happened to the mother 😭😭

but letterbox didnt have anything:

Spice and wolf, Space Dandy, Dungeon Meshi, All Saints Street, Aggrestsko but the webseries version NOT the netflix series, And Night on the Intergalactic railroad

Then uh, some recommendations either I think their anime adaptation sucks or their only in manga form:

Blue exorcist, Witch Hat Altier, D Gray Man, and Pokemon Adventure

And then I wouldnt recommend this earnestly to anyone because it was such a fever dream of an anima but sooo.. idk if i could even say funny lol. it was so strange but Uh I remember watching the Anime Shinki forever ago because every character looked like they were designed by a completely different artist

Ok genuine question for chainsaw man fans so I’ve watched the anime and I’ve been wondering for a while whether I should start reading the manga or just wait for the next season of chainsaw man to come out because I keep seeing panels from the manga and it’s making me want to continue from where the anime ends and start reading the manga from there. So far Ive read two mangas witch hat altier and bocchi the rock!

part of me does really really want a Witch Hat Altier anime because i know itd look amazing and id cry every episode and i want more people to appreciate it but a big part of me also doesn't want it to get an anime because i've been seeing the absolutely hellish takes people have about Dungeon Meshi and i just know that they'll apply their negative reading comprehension to Witch Hat and we'll have to deal with a year plus of people with the worst takes imaginable
