Yesterday, my mother fractured her arm while trying to get aid. I couldn’t go with her because I’m severely malnourished. She smiled through the pain so we wouldn’t worry, but I could see it all in her eyes — and it broke me.

Tachi - Wind

All over the Mexico the plumed serpent's image reigns supreme. He is the lord of the wind, the one who carries the sun with the wind through the day.

He is the guide of the dead as well as the twin of the the god of monsters.

To the nahua people he Quetzalcoatl, the precious plumed snake. In mixtec he has another name Nuhu Tachi, and in my own variant we lack the name for god, so he is Dios Tachi. In other variants his name almost sounds like Noo Tachi, or "Face"

I think I will interpret him as "The face of the wind" a title to give the wind a voice. To give the wind the aspect of personality, fickle, trickster-like, and powerful.

I've been trying to draw this last panel of my comic but every time I do my parents make hot dogs for dinner and we've had hot dogs for like the past 5 days for some reason

I eat so many that I straight up just fall asleep until it's 11:00 and then by then I'm just looking up potential pose figures and then I just fall asleep at 5:00am and then the cycle repeats and I really hope that tomorrow we don't make hot dogs

The genocide in Gaza has been ongoing for almost two years now and it feels like people have moved on from it. Campaigns are constantly stagnating and not enough is coming in to keep people afloat, and this as the situation on the ground only continues to worsen. Even when there was some food available, it would be sold for exorbitant prices. Aid has been consistently denied and enough has never been let in, but now nothing is coming in at all. The US and Israel are working to deliberately starve the people of Gaza, and they now face a serious famine. What "Aid Points" these countries set up are only used to target and kill people who are trying to feed their families. There is no food left, and what little can be found is sold at even more expensive prices than before. To deliberately inflict this kind of hunger is a war crime, it is inhumane and unconscionable, and even more so when we know that the children of Gaza aren't spared from it. My friend Dina has two children, one who is a toddler and the other only about a year old, who are having to drink salt water to stay alive. Dina and her children have been suffering from intense hunger, and I am scared for my friend everyday. But people are turning away from Gaza, and people are turning away from her. Gaza needs your attention and your action now more than ever. If you can help my friend at all, if you can donate to her campaign or share her story, it would help more than you know. Please don't forget about her.

Israel has launched violent attacks against the people of Gaza once again, with complete disregard for the supposed ceasefire they agreed to. The death counts keep rising and it's no secret that Israel not only kills Palestinian children, but specifically targets them. My friend Sahar @reallyoptimisticface was separated from her children before the current aggression started, and they have been living in Gaza without their parents for almost two years. She knows that they live in danger, and we both worry for them daily. The area they're currently in is an extremely dangerous zone and the lack of connection makes communication hard. Her older daughter Diana has been caring for her younger siblings, but she's suffered burns and wounds from being forced to cook over open flames.

As more news comes out and we see the extent of the Israeli violence, Sahar worries her children may be next. Please stand by her and support her so she can see her children again, bring them to safety, and be together as a family. No child should have to live through this. Your donations can give them some hope.

hey me and @hellothepixel and @classicsonic and @elegybeatty made a videogame. i made all the tiles and the puzzles :3

They’ve been rebuilding the Tower of Babel, but this time they have a team of linguists on site. Every time God smites the builders and invents a dozen new languages, the linguists have a dozen decently sized translations in about a month and work can start up again.

The linguists have been really into it. They say the new phonemes are fascinating. As for God, I assume that at this point he’s just curious to see how far this goes.
