I wanted to put together a rec list of Harry/Tom fics with a core focus on horcruxes outside of Diary Tom (the most popular horcrux) and Voldemort himself. Please enjoy these 22 fics that feature one of Tom's horcruxes and their special relationship with Harry.

There’s a ton of interesting variation that can be explored within a Harry and horcrux Tom ship — from where the horcruxes are located and when Harry can conceivably meet them in canon (for example, the Cup horcrux is harder to access than the others); to what age they were made by Voldemort and how that would shape their personalities and interactions with Harry; to the different magical properties that they might embody, depending on the vessel that was chosen.

Finally, it looks like Scarcrux and Locket are the most popular choices (after Diary Tom), and we absolutely need more Cup horcrux fics!

ITMF for fics where Wei Wuxian is a bit (or a lot) more angry at the cultivation world. At their bigotry and cruelty, corruption and ignorance to the suffering of innocents. Where he really reacts to everything that happened to him and his, admits to himself how hurt he really was and still is, how he does not deserve it. Speaks or screams about it cleanly, exposes their flaws with words and actions.

Maybe he says "go to hell" and leaves to live heal on a faraway island with lemurs and bunnies, leaving the cultivation world to rip itself apart with political conflicts or just rot like a swamp.

Maybe he takes revenge, either with calm head or in saint anger-induced agression, though i would prefer him as still the Wei Ying we know and love (like, more bitter, and on the same level of violence as the MDZS itself is, but no sudden OOC with him becoming a tyrant, or commiting genocide just for it's sake, etc.)

I don't mind there being or not being any good people among the sects, but if he gets someone nice and kind to snuggle at the end or stand by his side, it would be awesome.

Can also be an ending where Wei Ying remains bitter, angry and depressed and does not let these feelings go, though please mention that there is an open/unhappy ending. Thank you!! ✨️🥰 @shellennium

9. Hey! So I've come to realize that I have quite the masochistic streak when it comes to reading WangXian, so the angst is chef's kiss these days.

This goes for the ITMF fics, so I re-read "Honesty is the Best Policy (Except if You're an Asshole)" by piecrust, and oh, the burn was so good!!! I mean, I did want to bang Lan Wangji's head on a wall a couple dozen times throughout the fic, but I liked it. No, I loved it rather.

So please do me the biggest favour and give me fic recs where Lan Wangji is a complete asshole to Wei Wuxian but also like he has to realize that he's being really really mean for no damn reason and over-compensate because please let the man grovel. I liked how piecrust portrayed the characters, so yeah. I don't mind if it is Canon or AU, I just need some fics to relinquish the sudden thirst for these types of fics.

Wen Ying becomes sect leader after killing his father, so hopefully, this is close to what they're looking for.

✏️"what are your current WIPs about?"

I...have a truly terrifying number of WIPs. So I'll stick to the ones that are either particularly interesting or that I intend to eventually post.

fool me twice — A Tim-centric fic where some of Bruce's more recent physical abuse leaks into the 90s where Tim was initially Robin. It starts small and slowly gets worse and worse. Tim keeps trying to draw lines, but he shifts them back every time Bruce crosses them. About 1/3rd to 2/5ths of this fic is written, and I go back to reread it sometimes, but I'm not sure I'll ever finish it. It's kind of a spiritual precursor to fool me thrice, to the point where I cannibalized the name, but it's a distinct story.

Reverse Robins Damian Discussion — Set in my Reverse Robins AU. When Jason realizes that Tim was worried about him being around Bruce and Damian, he's afraid that he's in danger. Tim is like, "oh, Damian grew up, and Bruce hated Damian specifically, so you're fine". Jason asks questions and Tim theorizes on why exactly Bruce and Damian's relationship was so awful and why it's better now. This story serves as a bridge between Damian's time as Robin and the present day.

Two Truths and a Lie — Inspired by Batman and Catwoman debating the circumstances of their meeting. Jason has a conversation with Talia, but he can't remember which version of canon is true. It's very uncomfortable. I probably won't finish this one.

Robin Hood — In a universe where Jason didn't die, Tim ends up in foster care after his parents' kidnapping goes south. Unfortunately, Tim doesn't quite have the computer skills that Batman and Oracle taught him, but he's still no slouch. Between trying to pass his classes, deal with his neglectful and ever-so-slightly abusive foster parents, and prevent himself from being lost in Gotham's corrupt foster care system, Tim has his hands full. Still, he finds himself drawn to Gothem's vigilantes. So when Batman goes missing (due to Bane) and substitute Batman attacks a Robin who has nowhere to go, Tim tries to help.

Hallucinatory Cellmate — Jason ends up trapped in some sort of magic stasis zone, an infinite expanse of white. He's just starting to go crazy when Tim shows up, equally trapped. Over the next few weeks, Jason gets to know Tim. But when he escapes, it turns out Tim was just a hallucination, and Tim isn't nearly as pathetic and forgiving as how Jason hallucinated him, and Jason has to reconcile his imaginary version of Tim with the real one.

Better Than Batman — Near the end of Post-Crisis, Jason Todd is captured in all his unhinged glory. One by one, his family talk to him and try to convince him to stop killing. Whether they're successful or not, I have yet to decide, but this is my attempt to explore exactly what unconventional arguments the Bats might make that actually have the potential to convince Jason.

Calling All the Monsters — A murderous comedy. Damian's attack on Red Robin is more successful than he expected. After Damian cuts his line, an injured Tim manages to escape into an assassin-infested Gotham. Damian decides that he has passed the point of no return and needs to kill Tim, even though he feels guilty for what he did. He teams up with various shady figures, including Red Hood and Prudence Wood, thinking they're all helping him kill Tim. Meanwhile, they all think they're helping Damian save Tim. Tim thinks everyone is trying to kill him.

Burden — Dick leaves Wayne Manor after Bruce fired him. If he is no longer Batman's partner, he knows has no place in Bruce's home. But when the heat is broken in his cheap apartment, Dick is forced to swallow his pride and return home.

it beckons me to stay — An exploration of Tim and Damian's brotherhood set 5-10 years in the future. In the intervening years, the rest of the family has died. They are both extremely traumatized.

Pawn to D3 — Reverse Robins Titans Tower AU (but not set in my main RR universe). Tim breaks into Titans Tower to kill Jason. It's not personal, but he needs to provoke Bruce, and killing a vigilante is better than killing a random civilian. If Batman needs a villain, Tim will give him one. (Eventually he snaps out of it and realizes that treating a teenager as a pawn in a war is Bad, even if he’s also treating himself like a chess piece.)

Tim Befriends the Gremlin — Described here!

Flood Sequel — Literally a sequel for Flood lol. Reverse Robins. Jason befriends Dick. Tim mentors them both. When Tim finally confronts Bruce, it goes…differently than expected, thanks to his little brothers’ interference.

Be My Robin Fic — This one is almost done! A Tim joins Jason during Battle for the Cowl AU. In a universe where Batman was just a bit worse and just a bit more out of control, the idea of having to work with a cruel, murderous Batman doesn't seem so unusual to Tim. Plus, Tim knows that Damian has to be Robin to get him to stay. So, Tim gets a new Batman.

Tornado — Five times Reverse Robins!Damian was uprooted + one time he found home. Features Damian navigating his fraught relationships with Bruce, Duke Thomas, Tim Drake, and Jonathan Kent as he grows up.

Haunted House — Jason steals Batman's tires two years earlier than in canon, and the effects cascade from there. Bruce doesn't make Jason Robin, but he does adopt him. Meanwhile, Dick is still in Wayne Manor, but he and Bruce are on the outs. Jason overhears some extremely out-of-context conversations, sees that Dick has bruises (from being Robin) and freaks the heck out. This one is almost finished, but I've since found a very similar work, so I'm trying to figure out what I can do to make this fic unique.

1) What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

This is a good question😭 I think of Eloise as separate from the girl I played in the game, AND separate from the MC in general bc I completely changed ancient magic & the whole storyline to something more interesting to me. As I was playing the game, though, I was SO INTENSELY CURIOUS about what their backstory could be - why were they starting 5th year? Were they a squib? What about their family?

I honestly LOVE that the game is so open-ended about this, because it allowed me to find a way to place Eloise in with canon lore (her mom is actually mentioned by Sirius in the books🤭) AND (this hasn’t been revealed yet) give a conceivable reason as to why the Babbits are not in the Sacred 28 when the list is created.

I’m also FASCINATED by thinking of pureblood society & the Black family in general (Sirius/Bellatrix are my favorite characters & BOTH heavily influence how I think of Eloise) & I have so much fun MAKING ALL OF THIS UP !!!!!!!!!! I LOVE thinking of different traditions/ways that old pagan traditions can be corrupted by the purebloods trying to hold onto their legacy…how the purebloods navigate society and the world in VERY subtle interactions etc etc ETC !!!!! I could literally make a whole post on all of these headcanons I’ve made up about the universe my fic takes place in😆😆😆

Honestly NO😭 I think of her voice as very sweet but honestly it just kind of sounds like mine since I go into her mind so much as I write🤔 if anyone has any voice claims or ideas LMK !!!!

ELOISE HATES WEARING PANTS AND SHE HATES QUIDDITCH😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤 she HATE WATCHES every single quidditch match just to make sure Sebastian doesn’t get hurt…BUT she drags Ominis with her and tells him to let her know if anything happens bc she can’t bear to watch🤔 Sebastian is always getting himself hurt on purpose in Crossed Wands & even quidditch in the hopes that Eloise will come over🤭 bc she always insists on the muggle way…(everyone thinks they’re weird)

Another thing that I think is HILARIOUS is that as a design choice I just gave her a braid bc a) I think it’s cute & b) it’s a way to tame her crazy crazy crazy hair & c) so I don’t have to draw her hair down. BUT every time we talk about mc interactions everyone wants Eloise to show them how to braid their hair…SHE has to demonstrate though bc there is no way anyone that isn’t her could tame her own hair😫

I can talk about it, but the possibility of me actually writing this is very low because it would be very long and I don't have the attention span necessary for this haha

Anyway, it'd be a magic AU in which, at around the 5th year, Sirius starts acting weird. He loses time, forgets things, has blanks, etc.

That happens while him and Remus are first getting together, figuring themselves out, and it is a problem for the relationship because sometimes he will turn into "someone else" and start treating Remus badly

Eventually Sirius gets called out home bc his parents got word that Regulus (who had been missing) is dead. It'd be an universe where Regulus is older than Sirius.

So eventually they put the facts together and find out that Sirius is being haunted/possessed by the spirit of Regulus, who has unfinished business he has to resolve in order to move on.

ANYWAY the unfinished business is the whole thing with the medallion - he died the same way he did in canon. So now the marauders need to find out where the medallion is to try and destroy it so Regulus' spirit can rest in peace - which obviously turns into a whole horcrux hunt later

And I think there probably would be a prophecy somewhere saying the four boys are the ones who have to defeat Voldemort... Basically a rewriting of the canon thing but with the Marauders and obv lots of Wolfstar and the angst that comes with the fact that your boyfriend is sharing a body with his evil brother who hates you hahahah

Starting a new crafting adventure (mostly knitting, some crochet), thought it might be fun to document.

I came across this concept called the ✨Gideon Method✨. (I always see it in my head with capitals and sparkles because I firmly believe it is going to revolutionise my life and get all my WIPs magically finished. I always feel this way about ✨Methods✨, I'm convinced that one day I will find the ultimate strategy to make my life run smoothly. Realistically, the way to think about this is that it will be fun for a while and maybe help me to get some stuff finished before I lose interest in it. This parenthetical remark is getting out of hand.)

So, anyway, the ✨Gideon Method✨. The idea is that I pick up to 5 projects and work on them alternately in 12 hour sprints. When something is finished, and only then, I am allowed to replace its spot in the rotation with either something new or another WIP.

I currently have 13 works in progress. One of them I will be finishing before I commence the ✨Method✨, because it has to be done before an October birthday. One of my 5 slots will be occupied by a new cast on, because that has to be done by Christmas. So overall, I will still have 13 WIPs. (Also, I just ordered yarn for Stephen West's MKAL, which starts on 5th October. So, um, 14 WIPs. That one is going to have to operate outside of the ✨Method✨, because otherwise I won't keep up with the clues. So I'm kind of sabotaging myself before I begin. But never mind!)

I have chosen the following 5 projects:

1. A Christmas stocking for my offspring

2. Socks for my Grannie (It is deeply tedious to knit the pattern she likes, but I love her a lot, so once a year I make another pair.)

3. My Sevrine Cardigan (Most favourite and beloved project, currently, but also I'm about to enter sleeve island.)

4. Bi Mitts (I believe this is my oldest project. It has been languishing since Pride 2019.)

5. Kaleidoscope Blanket (This one is crochet, and it has so many parts and so many ends! . I fully expect to be working on this for the rest of my life.)

Why I recommend them:

Firstly, in the case of Viria, I don't really feel the need to say anything too elaborate. Read those 3 comics yourself and I promise, you will understand. The art is stunning, the voices of each character are so distinct, and I have never wanted a full-length web comic from anyone more than I do Viria. The plot line is relatively undefined, but basically, Harry and Draco are roommates at Grimmauld Place. They are learning to navigate this arrangement without stepping on each other's toes too much, but nothing between the two of them has ever been simple.

The second part is my favourite one because a) Ginny is an absolute rocket and I am so obsessed with her, and b) Draco's accidental not-confession to Hermione, who is too perceptive for her own good, makes me want to scream.

As for The Veiled Boy - man, the amount of things I could say about this WIP.

Before I get into the fic, may I just reiterate how in love I am with Salmon's drarry art? Their comics are so incredibly fun, and I will never not immediately race to their blog when I see a new upload. Now that that's clear, I also need to stress how unfair it is that Salmon is both a talented artist and author, but the world is so much more beautiful for it.

The premise of the fic is so unique and intriguing. Draco Malfoy is one of a vanishing breed: a veiled wizard. In traditional pureblood society, women and children under 17 must wear a veil to conceal their excellence from muggles and muggle-borns. This story picks up in Harry's canon-adjacent 5th year when Draco transfers to Hogwarts. Art accompanies almost every single chapter, and it is, without fail, spectacular.

Do be warned that cults and cult ideology feature heavily in this one, but as someone who took a class on cults in uni, it's kinda right up my alley. Reading this very eccentric, conservative Draco and ever-devoted Harry slowly and uncertainly falling in love and fighting for each other relentlessly scratches that constant angsty drarry itch in my soul. Draco, beginning to unlearn and even subvert the indoctrination he's been subjected to all of his life, speaks to me on a level of religious trauma that I only recently discovered I had.

I'm really looking forward to finishing this fic, I cannot wait to see how the story wraps up.

Tomarrymort Starter Pack: 10 Recs for Getting Started in Tomarrymort

I've compiled a list of 10 medium to longfic recs that I think represent a great on-ramp to the Tomarrymort ship, as inspired by @sitp-recs’ Drarry for Beginners rec list. These are the fics that I would use to on-board people to the ship — gorgeous writing, superb characterization, and just as enjoyable on the first read as the 20th reread. 

As always, I am stunned by the talent in this ship! A Dangerous Game by @cybrid (E, 284k, WIP)

Setting: Canon Divergence – Book 5 Premise: If Tom’s diary horcrux gains a body at the end of Harry’s 5th year (instead of his 2nd), and then promptly kidnaps Harry and holds him captive over the summer. Lots of smut ensues. Why I rec it: The characterization is truly stunning — Tom Riddle is undoubtedly a psychopath — manipulative, thrill-seeking, kind of an irredeemable shithead — but he’s also dazzlingly charming when he chooses to be, someone whose presence Harry quickly grows addicted to. Their relationship can get incredibly toxic and fucked-up at times, but Harry has top-notch instincts and can hold his own against Tom. The plot is absolutely gripping, with the threat of (the main) Voldemort, who has set his sights on reclaiming his wayward horcrux, looming in the background. 

A Future Without a Face by @dividawrites (E, 115k, complete)

Setting: Time-Travel (1940s) Premise: If Harry travels back in time to Tom’s 5th year at Hogwarts, and Tom becomes obsessed with the new transfer student and wants nothing more than to possess him every way. Why I rec it: A 1940s time travel fic told entirely from Tom Riddle POV! Divida absolutely nails psychopath Tom — how he quickly gets singlemindedly focused on Harry, how the idea of possessing Harry consumes him, how he has no compunctions about doing completely fucked-up and destructive things to achieve his goals. There is so much tension between them from the start, so there’s not much of a wait to see some hot Harry & Tom action — and the conflict and tension only continues to build and build in dramatic fashion throughout the rest of the fic.

Either must die at the hand of the other by @metalomagnetic (E, 260k, complete)

Setting: Post-Canon Premise: If Voldemort survives the Battle of Hogwarts and is initially kept prisoner in Azkaban, until Harry takes him into Grimmauld Place under house arrest. Why I rec it: This fic is an incredible exploration of Voldemort at his most terrifying. Even if he starts off the fic with his magic temporarily blocked, he is no less powerful without his magic. The force of his personality is powerful enough for him to chip away at Harry’s initial resistance — @metalomagnetic manages to write one of the most charismatic, brilliantly manipulative, and psychologically devastating versions of Voldemort I’ve ever read. Harry ends up in a good place by the end of the fic, but the journey to get there is a roller-coaster of emotions that have permanently imprinted onto my soul.

In Somno Veritas by ladyoflilacs and @lordansketil (M, 158k, complete)

Setting: Canon Divergence – Book 6 Premise: If Harry starts appearing in Voldemort’s nightly dreams during Book 6, and Voldemort becomes obsessed with Harry after realizing he’s his horcrux. Why I rec it: This is one of the most unique fics I’ve ever read in this ship! Every scene is told in alternating POV between Harry’s POV and Voldemort’s POV, so you get to see how every scene unfolds from both of their perspectives. Voldemort is so intense and just as terrible as he is in canon, so his character is not at all sugarcoated, and Harry has so much compassion and heart and manages to fall in love with Voldemort anyway. The writing style is gorgeous, with richly detailed and emotionally-laden prose. Also, one thing that pleasantly surprised me is how funny their banter is! There were definitely a number of times where I laughed out loud in the middle of an otherwise really intense scene. Bonus content: also comes with a lovely sequel that made me melt.

Inevitabilities by @shadow-of-the-eclipse (T, 103k, complete)

Setting: Same-Age AU Premise: If Harry and Tom attend Hogwarts together and go traveling around the world after they graduate. A betrayal leads to their break-up, but after many years, Harry returns to find Tom in Britain, and the two of them are drawn back together again. Why I rec it: An excellent same-age AU with unhinged dark Harry and just-as-unhinged Tom. Their relationship starts out quite dark and twisted and unhealthy — and only devolves from there. The fic ends with the two of them as equals — utterly devoted to each other — but in an incredibly fucked-up way: “He loves Tom like a forest fire; wild and all-consuming, he wants to devour Tom, to claim him, to mark him, break him.” Isn’t that absolutely breathtaking?

love is touching souls (surely you touched mine) by @toast-ranger-to-a-stranger (M, 34k, complete)

Setting: Time-Travel (1940s) Premise: If Harry gets thrown back into the mid-1940s and meets Tom Riddle as a young man just graduated from Hogwarts working at Borgin and Burkes. Why I rec it: When Harry accidentally travels back in time and chances upon Tom Riddle as a fresh graduate, he realizes this is his chance to make a difference. While Harry is only in the past for a brief interlude, he leaves enough of an impression to change the trajectory of Tom’s life. The dynamic between Harry and Tom is rife with tension and witty dialogue, and the story is set during Christmastime, which lends a very festive and heartwarming atmosphere for falling in love with each other.

No Glory by @obsidianpen (E, 254k, WIP)

Setting: Voldemort Wins AU  Premise: If Voldemort figures out Harry is his horcrux when Harry surrenders in the Forbidden Forest, and decides to keep Harry instead of killing him.  Why I rec it: This fic showcases the absolute, terrifying genius side of Voldemort, in a universe where he wins the war and captures Harry at the end of book 7. I am stunned at how skillfully @obsidianpen portrays Voldemort as a brilliant political strategist — the courtroom scene where he manipulates the story and the audience so well stands out as a top 10 fanfic moment in my mind. Harry and Voldemort’s relationship is chilling from the very start, and grows even more unhealthy as Voldemort gets addicted to Harry’s touch due to the presence of the horcrux, but Harry later learns to turn that to his advantage.

The Fire, Burning by @parsimmony (E, 35k, complete)

Setting: Canon Divergence – Book 6 Premise: If Voldemort discovers Harry is his horcrux after Book 6, and kidnaps him to keep him captive by his side in his bed, inside of a lovely greenhouse setting full of friendly snakes on the grounds of Malfoy Manor. Why I rec it: The prose!! I am swooning over the prose! Harry is Voldemort’s captive in this fic, but he is so much more than that — and the emotions that gradually blossom between them have so much richness and depth and are utterly moving that I’m still drowning in the depths of intimacy that were portrayed. Their relationship unfolds in such a gorgeous and unrushed way, and the setting is so unique too — a lush and overgrown greenhouse that’s exploding with exotic plants and friendly snakes around every corner that imbues the fic with a very romantic, dreamy quality.

Setting: Canon Divergence – Book 6 Premise: If Voldemort is doused with Amortentia keyed to Harry, and starts sending Harry bizarre and gruesome courting gifts, like the bodies of the Dursleys.  Why I rec it: Breathtaking prose! Voldemort somehow ends up more terrifying when he’s trying to woo Harry than when he’s trying to kill him. Every single sentence had me on the edge of my seat, as Voldemort’s ‘gifts’ become more elaborate and devastatingly dramatic, until Harry basically has no choice but to respond to his overtures. The ending is incredibly clever in how it parallels certain plot elements of book 6, with an added Harrymort twist. 

The Untouchable by @treacleteacups (M, 75k, complete)

Setting: Canon Rewrite (Books 1-7) Premise: If Harry starts out his first year a little bit more suspicious and a little less wide-eyed and guileless, and subsequently gets sorted into Slytherin. He has many of the same encounters with Voldemort along the way as he does in canon, but his interactions with Voldemort will end up leading him down quite a different path. Why I rec it: A snappy, fast-paced full canon rewrite that still manages to fit in all the essential Tomarrymort plot points, between Horcruxes and Hallows and the major events of books 1-7, in a compact 75k words that doesn’t at all feel rushed. It’s a delightful journey following Harry’s character evolution from an overlooked, peculiar child who relies on wishy-washy wish magic to a confident (and still endearingly peculiar) young man who can challenge and hold his own against the great Lord Voldemort. Voldemort’s obsession with Harry deepens with every encounter that they have, as he finds ways to continually insinuate himself in Harry’s life and his mind and his dreams.

I don't think it's invasive! Honestly I love any excuse to talk ab my writing so ur doing me a huge favor here (Also o shit ,, fave author ,, am I finally a part of the cool ao3 people club??, ,, , , , , my 12 year old self is so jealous rn)

I've only really turned back to fic writing this month (the last time I wrote fic consistsntly was like 4 years ago now, oops) so I'm yet to rack up a real collection of wips! However currently in the works I have uhhh

- baby Kakashi time travels to meet half Hatake Tobirama (almost done!! Maybe!! It keeps getting longer by accident.)

- like 3 paragraphs of a tobimada space mermaid fic

- chapter 3 of Chasing Shadows is like, 1/5th done and sitting in my notes app staring at me expectantly

- magical girl Izuna !!

- one step three steps is also staring at me ominously waiting to get updated

- also I started writing the next chapter of Into the Wardrobe (my old bnha fic) mostly as a joke bc its been 2 years since it's last update (and THAT update also came only after another 2 years so I kind of wanted to keep the trend going for the laughs)

So like, 6 works total I'm trying to work on but only like 5 actual drafts!

(61 is insane I hope to be like you one day but also that sounds like a very special kind of agony)

For the 5th Anniversary event next week, day five.

I couldn’t exactly figure out what sneak peek to post, so heres several rough paragraphs from the beginning start of the story. (You’re welcome maybe??)

There was light, healing, a blast of white magic. It soothed the burns from the dark spell in this moment of the fall, but not in his chest. Cichol hit the ground, the world turning black.

Let him lay in darkness. Let this war consume him whole.

Let his wife welcome him to the heavens with open arms. Beyond the stars, the visages of his mother and father amid those lost decades before. Maybe Sothis—oh, if she were there!—would bless him in the afterlife, and wouldn't let his sacrifice be for naught.

Cethleann’s face was not among the dead. Cichol awakened with a gasp.

Macuil and Indech were on either side of him in the grass, the stench of decay swarming around them. The memory of violet fire twisting around his body did not keep him from trying to sit up, stomach heaving at the flickering ache. Indech moved a hand to his chest to steady him. “Do not move, little brother,” he said softly, a frown twisting onto his face as a tear left his eye. With the scorching burn eating away at his side, Cichol grasped the arm keeping him tethered.

Ceara, mother, father. “Cethleann, I did not see her—did she, is she alive?” The thought of his only child ran through near where her mother lay dead. It choked him, left him drowning.

There was a grunt that had both looking down at their sibling. “She sleeps.” Macuil wrote another sigil with a finger, casting a chilled white spell over Cichol’s ravaged body. It licked the fire to ice before the spark of pain hastened forth afresh on his leg. Cichol flinched, but didn’t look away. Macuil lifted his face to him, and suddenly he knew. The sting of salt rose to his eyes as fingers tightened still around Indech’s wrist.

Macuil repeated the words, relieving and shattering his hope in the same instance, “she sleeps, Cichol. It is a wonder, maybe a curse, either of you survived.” The fate of his daughter had been sealed.

“And you need a healer.” Indech’s hand firmly pressed into his chest. Cichol’s breath stuttered, catching on a wail. “Macuil.”

“Sleep.” He said once more, but not for Cethleann. Cichol’s eyes closed.

What's The First part of the WIP that you created ?

It was the first chapter, the descovery of the artifacts and manuscripts etc.

If Your Story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?

I think it would be something giving off magical and mysterious vibes. Like the sounds of ocean with a flute and wind chimes. And do you know the sound of sparkles? Yeah that. And violin just like Luminary by Joel Sunny.

What are your favourite characters that you made and why?

I can't choose tbvh. I have been making stories since 5th grade and now i am about to go to college, so all the characters have a special place in my heart.

What other pieces of media your fanbase would share?

Honestly i don't know. Mostly i guess from enemies to lovers novels or anime and manhwas since most of my inspirations arise from there.

What has been your biggest struggle with your WIP?

Everything bro, everything. From names to the destination of the story, timeline and historical, political, geographical, economical accuracy to world building and character designs. EVERYTHING.

Are there animals in your story? Talk about them.

I do have them but I'd rather not talk about them since i have no recollection, inspiration or knowledge about it.

How do your characters travel/get around?

Since this story is placed in modern era, all the vehicles that are used today are used in it.

What part of your WIP are you working on right now?

The continuation of chapter 4. I just can't seem to get it right no matter how many times i write it. T^T

What aspects (tropes, maybe) will you think will draw your audience in?

Reincarnation, enemies to lovers, mystery, romance, historical (hopefully)

What are your hopes for your WIP?

My current and the most desperate hope is for it to be finished but i am so freaking lazy and inspiration is also very moody since it doesn't strikes when i want it to, it just does whenever it wants to. I just hope i get the strength and inspiration to write it and hope that people will give it and me some love and support ♡.

The premise I posted on my schedule is... a fully different one than the notes inside the document? How did this turn into a whole different fic ALREADY I haven't even wRITTEN ANYTHING FOR IT. I'm gonna cry.

And you will be the new 6th year, reborn in a dragon riding family, the Draggunnars. That meant being raised in seclusion on the Hebridean Islands, Scotland, learning everything you could about dragons under the watchful eyes of your pureblood family. That is, until your father couldn’t refuse Hogwarts invitation that year again.
