that one post about giving your characters a kink to further their depth is so real. because samuel's desire to have something/someone to take care of in order to feel worthy of the space he uses in the world + his lack of a family and his wish to build one of his own + his physical inability to do that and how it affects the way he views himself and his failed role as a man in a heteronormative society, is all very well encapsulated in his Breeding Kink.
