Honestly pawn Fallion is something else. He fits so very well into the idea of pawns because in canon he and Barioth (who is the Arisen in my second profile), have a unique bond that allows Barioth to subtly command Fal. Neither know this until later in their story but I have this playthrough on the backburner bc I'm playing a lot of DDO. :'D He's said some goofy shit during our couple hours of playing though. Whole braincell working overtime in that head. While the CC for DD2 is pretty satisfactory, the hair options are just not there. While Barioth has short, quite simplistic hair, Fal's hair is wild in canon so I kinda switch between the side shaved beastren cut and some of the slicked back styles. None say 'Fal' to me, but it's close enough he's identifiable. And canon Barioth is like 8' while Fal is around 7' (he's got a lotta leg), but height difference is close enough in-game. May eventually do some DD2 art for them.

I'm lazy and don't feel like speedrunnning into the Unmoored world on my DD2 playthrough, does anyone have any good screenshots of the wormy Purgener I can take a peek? I can get basic details from playthrough vids but no one like..stops to look at these guys' details like I need. Mostly it's head/mouth area and how the eye-spots 'spiral' around its body. I'm not going to go through scale for scale but wanted a good idea of the main elements and I'll just bullshit it from there with my own interpretation spices.

I've been sketching a lot of things but nothing quite up to snuff to share. Been playing a lot of DDO and really loving it. I want some kind of mutant baby born of DD2 and DDO.

I fricking looove your dragonsplagued Liam cinematic universe. Every time I see your art or anything pop up in the DD subreddit, I go "it's Liam!!" The concept of dragonsplague has been so compelling for me since day 1. I'm glad I found another person who's invested in making it a permanent characteristic of their pawn because dragonsplague does not get enough love and attention lol

Thank you! I'm glad you find some joy in my duo, as scrap-stitched together they can be sometimes. I adore dragonsplague, I love the concept, and totally went -somewhere- with it that may very well be lore breaking to some people but I suppose that's the fun of it for me! People wanna toss pawns into the brine immediately after they even sense DP, but for me that's a cool RP moment to build upon, and I don't brine pawns as that's not canon to how Kraus, my Arisen, would react. I try to stay kind to the roots I'm pulling at but definitely lay a special sauce in there to personalize it for myself. And oc that last part in your comment, if only we got to utilize DP in cool aerial dogfights with all manners of flying beasties. I do wish more was done with it, I've ranted about it with friends and probably text-talked their attention span into the ground with my frustrations and enjoyments. The relief I found when there are others out there that are also as attentive to their own stories as I am is not to be understated haha! I love seeing how others play upon the concept, and I read, write, and greedily scour places for little tidbits people reveal of their own adventures, and if I'm lucky I can be part of that community and contribute my own stuff, for better or worse. :'D

WIP! aerial dogfight battles between dragon pawn and drakes would be fun, I think.

Long post! may contain spoilers! One shot wip revolving around the idea that while the Arisen perishes to gift will to the world, their pawn remains. Pawns who lived in that world also gain free will (bc I say so), but can still traverse the Rift and visit other worlds, and can spread their knowledge on the cycle and how true free will is not something they are forever barred from, that they are more than tools, but it will take great sacrifices to get there. Kraus writes in journals (a habit Liam picks up himself), and Liam enjoys reading them. In going through his last journal, Liam sees how Kraus writes to Liam rather than about him. Kraus knows the sacrifice he must make, and is willing to do it, but leaves Liam with some mushy words and appreciation for everything. Liam is quite emotionally distraught about everything but he knows, and is pushed by Kraus through his journals, to explore the world and himself. I haven't got to do a lot of the 'tween' panels yet and there will be a little call to the Rivage Elder as Liam flies over him and the two acknowledge one another. The gryphon that Liam adopts earlier in his journey with the Arisen is now well on her own now and with her own nesting site near the Arisen's 'resting place.' People in Vermund don't see Liam as a threat and know, by now, who he is. What Liam will discover over the horizon, however, is something he can only guess but Kraus urged him in his last note to him to discover himself in all ways, and this is his first surge into life as his own person. I have a few ways things go for Liam and Kraus after the main events, some where the Arisen perishes, others where both make it through. This is a rough draft of one of them. :')

I don't have a cool Arisen and Pawn intro sheet yet. :C I play on PC, mods yes, he should be legal. Leveling is slow cooked bc I have a ft job and tend to my art stuff, but if you wanna take him on adventures until he brines himself or gets sassy, here he is.
