I watched the episode of House of Mouse where its the Christmas special and Pete's in and that got me thinking-
I cannot remember if you've already made a post regarding Christmas at the HoM, so consider this in September:
Since it's implied Christmas doesn't exist in TW, let's say Yuu starts making gingerbread cookies out of habit. And after that, she is halfway through the pudding when she realises that Christmas, in fact, has never been brought up before amongst her friends.
A quick check later and she leaves the pudding to set while wondering where she's going to find the occasion to give her friends holiday treats.
So sometime before Christmas she brings the cookies and pudding over to the HoM after wrapping them up fancy for her work family-
Only for Pluto to flaunt his special sugar-free gingerbread biscuits in full view of the villains' table.
And then Maleficent calls Yuu over to ask where did Pluto get such cute cookies with pine trees piped all over them-
Yuu, most likely: 'I made them myself for Christmas :). But Christmas doesn't exist in TW, so I couldn't think up a special occasion to give my friends Christmas treats :(. Especially considering all the effort that went into the cookies :( Jamil wouldn't call that cost-effective :(
Jafar is internally cursing out his protege, while Maleficent and the Queen of Hearts immediately start trying to convince her to make their twisted versions cookies :) and only their versions :) no, shove off mal, she's going to make dear riddle cookies that don't break any rules whatsover :) not your grandson :) sod off you hag :)
Anyway, I was going to add something about a kiss under the mistletoe but it's not even November yet so I'll save it until then
Please don't let this ask get eaten-
Hi!
Wow, I am loving these House of Mouse!AU asks. Life has been crazy these past few months so coming back to Tumblr to see that people are still interested in this really makes me smile 🥰
I remember writing something about that special last year that was kind of similar to what you said - I love the fan trope where our/Yuu's world's holidays/traditions don't exist in twst. The angst and fluff potential is just so good (I remember there was this one episode of Winx Club where the fairies try to cheer Bloom up by having a christmas party but they misunderstand everything and Stella interprets 'christmas cheer' as 'a christmas cheer' like the type cheerleaders do and I feel like that's the kind of endearing shenanigans you'd get in NRC)
I think that's what makes the House of Mouse so neat - it's kind of like a best of both worlds situation where there is a mix of both fantastical Disney magic and parts of our world (so Yuu can feel more at home, in a way)
Okay but back when I was in another fandom, I wrote a christmas themed drabble where a character made personalised gingerbread people for his entire class where he decorated each biscuit to look like them and I think that's definitely something Yuu would do (as well as the usual christmas themed ones, of course - she likes to go all out like that)
But yes, I see the shippers using this as a way to sail their ship. Yes, of course they want to throw a christmas celebration as a way to make Yuu happy - but it wouldn't hurt if they indulged in some light trickery now would it. Cue cartoon shenanigans where everyone is sabotaging each other, leading to total chaos and a Yuu that is both frazzled and totally oblivious.
"C'mon, Jaffy - just 'cause your little protege doesn't appreciate Yuu doesn't mean you have to ruin things for us. Where's your christmas spirit?"
"You don't even celebrate christmas!"
"Neither do you!"
Not to mention all of the animal companions that want special christmas treats as well (much to Pluto's irritation and obvious jealousy)
Thanks for the ask ♡

Winx Season 9/Reboot Leaks
Okay here's the tea: earlier today a twitter user by the name of Cataclysm_Power started posting a video they claimed was from the new Winx season/reboot. When pressed for further information, they linked to a telegram chat with what appeared to be assets from Rainbow (17 screenshots/2 videos). After some C-grade internet sleuthing, I am here to give my (worthless and possibly wrong) opinion on which ones I think are real and fake.
A note before we jump in: I'm not posting full images on my blog, because again I do think some of these are real and if the leaker is to be believed, they hacked Rainbow to get them. You can look yourself through the telegram link, or others who've posted them on the Winx Club tag. I also think the leaker themselves is scammy because they've tried charging for Miraculous leaks before. Do NOT give them any money if they ask.
Real: Bloom, Stella, and Icy's asset sheets, Bloom Full Body Pose
A lot of these leaks are 3d modelling assets, and these 3 are the ones I'm totally convinced are real.
The biggest clue of their validity is the bottom banner. All 3 sheets have them, along with the same episode code and notes in Italian. They're all also linked to the same person: Pasqualino Masciulli is Rainbow's 3D modelling supervisor, and has been with the company for at least 9 years. He's done videos on Rainbow's youtube channel as well, using his shortened first name Lino. My main point is that's way too niche for someone to fake just to make some convincing leaks, and it would make sense for the assets to be tied to him.
Likewise, there's a full-body frame post of Bloom with fucking ugliest denim leg warmers credited to a g.riccobono. This is likely Giulio Riccobono, who is listed on Linkedin Italy as a Rainbow employee.
Probably Real: Tecna's asset sheet, Bloom's detailed asset sheet
Both of these are likely real but have weird things about them that make me pause. Bloom's more detailed asset sheet is missing the name, date and episode reference on it, and the notes are in English. Tecna's is missing the bottom banner entirely, and there's some weird cutting around her head that makes it look like someone hastily made a png and stuck it on there.
Unsure: Computer File Tab, MD Concept Photos, Videos
There's a screenshot of a folder with both 2D and 3D assets of all the girls. in the files. I'm not sure if this is from a computer at Rainbow or the hacker's personal folder, so it goes in unsure. I do think most of the assets in it are real - it's low res but the eyes on the 2D sketches are so similar to the ones on Rainbow's newer images of the girls I think they have to be connected.
There are also some full body concept photos for Bloom, Aisha, and Stella. They all look pretty legit (as they're updated version of images we've already seen) but Stella's has other images for 'possible pallets' included. She's the only one with it and the images look like they came from a flash dress-up game, and it gives me pause.
Lastly, the teaser videos of Bloom are probably real based on the outfit, animation and that stupid fucking Bloom shelf being in the background, but I'm placing it in 'unsure' because of the bandicam.com logo burned into the top. If it really came from Rainbow and everything else was downloaded, there was no reason for the hacker to not get the raw file. I think it's real, but I don't know if it came from Rainbow.
Something Ain't Right: Group Shot
What gives me pause in the fully-rendered group shot (even though its shown in the computer file tab) is it shows transformation we haven't seen teased and has a 'Lorem Ipsum' placeholder text. Aisha's hair also looks like it was done with AI - the back of her wings clip through the hair, and parts of it look copy-pasted. I'm stupid, it's the end of her braids. The 'Lorem Ipsum' thing still stands, but I'm re-filing this under 'unsure.'
Probably Fake: Darcy and Damien's asset sheets
I'm showing things from here on out because I'm so convinced it's fake please let me be right. Unlike the other character sheets, the ones for Darcy and 'new character' Damien have no bottom banner, are marked as 'Winx Club Season 9' with an outdated Winx logo, and have notes written completely in English. Darcy's has a bit of 3D modelling, but it's too different from Icy's. Maybe they're super early concepts for Darcy, but Damien...go home, buddy.
You're in the Wrong Place: Rainbow Pants Girl
I'm convinced this girl is from a different show and was saved to the 'Winx Club' folder by accident. Different clothing, hair, and shading. May you end up somewhere better than this reboot, Mystery Girl.

Charlie's demon form, but it's a Winx Club transformation
I loved Charlie's demon form in the last episode and I wondered: What if she had a full on Magical Girl transformation? So I tried myself at animation again after quite sometime, inspired by Bloom's season 1 magic winx transformation
Cartoon footage is from Hazbin Hotel episode 8, the Animation is by me

is it just me or did the winx paired with the WRONG group? Stella is all about herself and act all busy around in cloudtower and Musa looks like she doesn't care about Stella and since Musa can act very tough, it doesn't work so well with these 2 as a team Bloom is all into instinct and emotions while Tecna is all about logic, rational and a perfectionist, that really don't match well with each other, no wonder they argued a few times i don't know how to describe with Flora and Aisha, like yeah they don't fight but they're no better as a pair neither because Aisha is scared of the dark and that doesn't match well with Flora's personalities, they makes each other nervous and even more anxious this way, no offense to these 2 though my ideal pairs for each winx Flora and Tecna Bloom and Stella Musa and Aisha i don't know why but they can learn from each other and most of them have the opposite personalities so that makes more sense

A rant about Winx Club S1E13
So, my first proper post here, let's go out with a bang and talk about what's probably my favourite season 1 episode as I recently finished rewatching it. Except I'm ranting, because Winx Club is full of problems and this episode just perfectly encapsulates one of them.
So S1E13: "A Great Secret Revealed" (or "Meant to Be" in 4Kids), the midpoint of the season and like I said is probably my favourite in the first season. So what makes me like this episode?
Well first of all: it's a fairly unique episode and a nice break from Magix to go back home and catch up with Bloom's life in Gardenia. I'm not sure what general opinions are on this but I also really like Mike and Vanessa at this point, their support for Bloom is very sweet in general, they just seem like great parents all around and want what's best for her - I think they're pretty neat. And this episode is a prime example of this.
Also we get see Bloom using her magic on Earth, obviously there aren't big fights to be had so it's used for very trivial purposes but I think it's cool, like when she cleans up the shop or puts out the kitchen fire. She also has her ability to see people's true emotions which is interesting and allows for the overarching plot of the episode with the businessmen seeing Vanessa is being conned.
But the best part of this episode has to be when Bloom puts out the fire in the flower shop and rescues the man from the building. It's a strong moment for her using her powers like that and combined with the vision she sees of her father rescuing her it's just excellent. This of course leads us into the scene at the end and revealing the big secret her parents have held about Bloom her entire life that she is adopted. This is a very important piece in the puzzle towards figuring herself out and seeing her family be so loving and comforting to her in what is undoubtedly a big and overwhelming discovery is really nice.
The episode ends back in Magix with the Winxes comforting her as well, which is a great moment for them too, it's a nice touch.
All around a really strong episode that is very important for Bloom discovering her true identity as the princess of Domino, but also for how that affects her parents back at home and how their side of things interweave with Bloom's past, this episode is great... but now let's talk about bad things!!!! Unfortunately there is only room for negativity in this world. :(
So, let's take a step back to look at the show as a whole and talk about Bloom. Do I like Bloom? Yeah, I'd say so, definitely one of my favourites, but arguably that speaks to the issue that oh my fucking god Bloom can you stop taking up everyone's screentime! I'm speaking to the choir, but I really didn't realise until my recent season 1 rewatch just how bad this issue is, I like Bloom, but not every scene has to be about her dammit, and part of the reason I like her more than others is because I don't get to see as much of what the others get to do because NO BLOOM HAS TO BE TALKED ABOUT AT ALL TIMES ACTUALLY! I want to have time away from her to focus on other characters, many of them feel underdeveloped in this season and beyond. If you pay attention in this show, you begin to realise just how much almost every scene the focus is on her. If it's a scene with the Winxes, it's a problem she has. If it's with the Trix or any villains, they're probably talking about something they want to do to her. And to be honest there are so few scenes that have neither Bloom or whoever the main villain is. One example in S1 that stuck out to me was Faragonda, she could've been way more interesting if they gave her more time where she was just on her own with Griselda or whoever as she tries to hide what she can from Bloom. Later on it could've been that Bloom gets frustrated at her for not telling her more and now they're in this mess... or something look this show just could've been better. And also, her rivalry with Griffin could've actually been something really cool and meaningful but it's instead its just "goth aesthetic = evil" type shit and the witches are lame... but I digress.
So, Bloom is the only one who does anything, and that's part of why S1E13 is one of the best in my opinion. It seems contradictory that I've expressed so much distaste towards Bloom's screentime. But there's not an equivalent episode really with any other character being the dominant focus, Bloom is the only one who could get something like this. Most episodes feel like they have Bloom too much, but an episode like this is one for her. As a result it doesn't feel like Bloom's screentime is constantly contrived, it's something that *should* be focussed on her, so it's just an issue that normally would arise due to putting Bloom where she doesn't belong, but in this episode she belongs everywhere so that ends up not being a problem. Even if Winx was like... a good show... imagine... crazy... it would probably still be a favourite of mine in S1, but it only really proves the issue of Bloom being the focus too much. This is just an episode where Bloom's dominance in the writing feels natural and this isn't subject to the problem. It's a Bloom episode fundamentally, it's just for her and that's completely fine, I have no issue with it on that front, I just wish the others had the right focus...
I guess that's the end of this post I uhh hope you enjoyed and found it insightful or maybe you think im wrong or something feel free to say so but dont be too harsh please im still new around here and scared i dont know why im signing this off like its a youtube video but its fine FOLLOW ME PLEASE i'd appreciate it okay BYE!!!

CHAPTER ONE: Graduation blues
Scene 1
The Winx all wake up in varying states of being hungover from a club they all went to the night before in order to celebrate their last day at Alfea before graduation. Stella seems to be just fine, she gets a bit snippy with the girls saying that they can't handle their drinks whatsoever, saying that only Bloom and Flora were able to keep up with her, quote “speaking of, where is Bloom?”
We transition into Faragonda’s office where Bloom is asking for information about other members of the company of light that might know what happened to the ancestral witches and or Oritel and Marium. Unfortunately Faragonda, Saladin, and Griffin are the only members left of the COL and the rest have died tragically or share the same fate as Bloom’s parents.
Bloom starts to explain that she’s been feeling panicked , like her time window to get her life together is closing yet everyone else has a clear path ahead of them. Faragonda explains that she has no need to feel shame in not having a path that's as clear or as fast as the rest of the fairies at Alfea, especially the other winx members. Faragonda continues to explain that Bloom shouldn't feel shame because her journey will take longer than everyone else. And while she’s proud that she’s doing as much work as she can to achieve what she wants, Bloom needs to be easier on herself.
Faragonda then desmises Bloom, explaining that Graduation will be starting soon.
Scene 2
Celebrations are currently happening at Cloud tower, many witches are becoming full fledged guardian witches, and Lucy is no different. Ever since Mirta transferred to Alfea, Lucy’s been able to find her footing in witchcraft as Mirta’s attitude while nice always distracted her from harnessing her inner darkness without letting it consume her. Leading to some choices she now regrets
*cue miss Magix flashbacks, god that episode was a fucking mistake, we dont stan making fun of Black women’s natrual hair you dicks*
However those days are behind her as she walks up to the podium and gets handed a ring with a clear gem which turns lime green as she dons it, which transforms her into a witch version of Enchantix and gives her a complete connection with her magic source. Becoming a guardian Witch of Delona, she looks at Griffin who gives her a proud look before ushering her to return to her seat. More witches follow after her as she sits with a proud feeling beaming in her chest.
Scene 3
We transition to Red fountain, where Helia’s calling with Nabu after the rest of the guys have already left their dorm. Helia and Nabu have been getting close recently to the point where they regularly confide in each other for fun or support when their girlfriends aren't able to be there, or when it’s something they’d rather not discuss with them.
Since Nabu’s the only magic inclined friend he has that isn't a fairy, Helia decided to ask a few questions, mainly: Does doing magic make you happy? To which Nabu explains that it does, more than anything. Magic is not a tool, it’s a friend to work with. Which results in an uncharacteristic mixed response from Helia, before Nabu is able to question this Helia gets dragged away for graduation.
Headmaster Saladin and Codatorta giving a speech on defending their homeworlds until the very end, as warrior Guardians of the magic demiton. As each student walks up to the podium to receive their graduation gifts as it were, Helia gets uncomfortable which the rest of the guys pick up on. It’s Sky’s turn who looks like he’s got mixed feelings about the whole thing but nonetheless stands proud as he receives a small chip which he inserts into his weapon, this connects to the gem on his cape At which moment his sword gains Hydrokinesis. And he gets a specialist license on said Gem.
The rest of the guys go through the same procedure, Helia get the power of Aeromancy,Brandon get’s the power of Geomancy, Riven gets Aeromancy strangle enough which confuses him but he doesn't make a fuss about it even though he and everyone else thought he’d get PyroKinesis , and Timmy gets ElectroKinesis
Scene 4
We transition to Alfea, Faragonda begins the ceremony with a speech congratulating the girls for persevering even when year after year, they’ve all had to deal with extraordinary challenges full fledged fairies have never had to deal with, while in training no less. As a special thanks to 6 fairies in particular, they get to go first.
The winx walk up to the podium and Faragonda hands them a few boxes that magically open. Inside them lie small colorless gems that once they touch morph into their fairy dust bottles. Once they donned them, it glamoured them to look like their base form, each of the girls getting varying reactions mostly nostalgic and enjoying it as much as they can, this is the last time they’ll see this form on themselves After All.
They slowly began to levitate and their magic began to expand, all except for Bloom. Flora could hear the plants and trees clearly and understand everything they were saying and feeling. Faragonda explained that is the difference between a fairy who uses nature magic and being THE fairy of nature.
Musa can now hear all the music in the world, especially the secret song in every person's heart. She’s basically a magical empath now , Tecna is now connected to each electronic device in the world and can even harness pure raw electricity akin to stormy, Aisha is now connected to all the water in the known universe to the point where she can pinpoint people’s location if they are within any body of water
The light of the sun, the moon, and the stars are now shining deep within Stella and she has now complete control over the weather along with some gravity spells, meanwhile Bloom’s dragon flame has been summoned and while she’s powerful she hasn't gained much. “I just don't feel anything…” echos in her head
At the height of magical energy their glamor dissipated to reveal their Enchantix forms, afterwhich a bright light encompassed the screen and they were lowered to the ground. “From now on, all your worlds will have brand new guardian fairies! You ! “ Faragonda said as the winx cheered, while Bloom fained excitement.
Scene 5
It’s party time at Alfea, drinks, dancing, music galore ( Musa’s collabing with Galatia on a duet of All is magic ) while this is going on Bloom is up in her room, still in her civilian outfit, Stella barged in since one Musa sensed how Bloom felt and told Stella to check up on her and second; Bestie instinct, Which she swears was it and not Musa telling her to do this, to which Bloom rolls her eyes.
Stella asks what’s wrong and tells her that Bloom can tell her anything. Bloom is hesitant but elects to reveal at least a little bit, she explains that Faragonda has so far been no help in finding her parents and the research she’s gathering on Domino isn't conclusive to much. When Stella asks about Daphne, Bloom explains that she hasn't been able to reach Daphne whatsoever, it feels like she’s slipping away.
Like her, whatever reserves of power she once had to communicate with her is now fading. And the worst part is the fact that she’s already a terrible guardian fairy. Stella challenged this, by telling her that she’s doing everything she can, it’s not her fault that some wretched hags destroyed the world she is meant to protect.
Which sparks some desperation in Bloom but Stella asks what she could have done. She was a baby, she didn't even have any magic to use, she couldn't have done anything , Which made Bloom start tearing up. Stella quickly hugged her and let her cry it out. Once Bloom calmed down a bit, Stella told her to wait a little and left the room. This left Bloom confused and suddenly guilty when the rest of the winx entered the room.
Claiming they heard someone was in need of a slumber party and a pillow fight- courtesy of the winx. Bloom told them to go back to the party, they should not miss their own graduation party just because she’s throwing a pity party but before she got to finish Musa told her simply put : if one of us isn't enjoying the night than some plans need to be changed, this is a night for all of us, we should enjoy it.
And she adds some side comments about being annoyed with Riven’s whole existence and attitude aka he didn't show up and has been ghosting her for a few days now.And when Bloom tries to ask about the music, Musa explains that Galatia can handle it herself, for now it’s time for a good old fashion pillow party!
And when Bloom goes: Don't you mean a good old fashioned pajama party ?? the other winx pulls out pillows to assault her as laughter erupts.
Scene 6
A few hours into the night the girls have fully changed into their pj’s and are chatting freely. Flora mentions that she can’t believe that they're all graduated, since the last 3 years felt like nothing on account of the world-ending threats that popped up. Bloom decides to take the opportunity to thank Everyone and Stella especially, if Stella never went to earth they never would have met and there wouldn't be a Winx club at all. Stella is the heart of the team.
They all decide to make a pact, no matter what happens or whatever life decides to throw at them, they will face it together and help each other at the drop of the hat. They all agree and do their Iconic : WINX CLUB! And cheer.
We transition to the morning , the other girls have already left for their home worlds while Bloom was asleep. She packed her stuff and right before she exited the school she caught a glimpse of Miss Faragonda who mouthed “ good luck, I believe in you" to her which put a smile on Bloom’s face. She then leaves the school with Kiko in soles.
Scene 7
This whole scene is a montage sequence which begins with Bloom knocking her adoptive parent’s door and them embracing. We transition to Aisha and Nabu on a fun date and being happy, a lot of adorable couple banter goes on between them. They’re talking about going to a concert being performed by their favorite band and they start debating which of their albums is the best.
Stella is stressed out as she sees just how much Casandra and Shimera fucked up her kingdom, and her father is too busy quelling the issues being had with the nobility after what happened and trying to avoid potential wars. Thus he gave Stella a good amount of power at her request so she can begin to fix things such as : the economy and bankruptcy of the planet, paying for reconstruction of certain people’s homes bc yes this bitch kicked people out of their homes just to have a fancy place to go to ect..
plus try to give to local charities ( she’s low key cursing herself for not asking for Tecna or even Flora’s help but her stubbornness won out and she convinced herself she can do this all by herself. )
Scene 8
Flora is currently talking to Helia, they’re both on a date in her mother’s garden- having a picnic. Everything is quite sweet but Flora can sense that somethings off with Helia. When he says that he feels uncomfortable talking about it, Flora suggests writing a poem about how he feels. He’s been pushing her to express herself more creatively, and she thinks this might help. Helia is hesitant but decides to try it anyway.
He writes a poem describing the feeling of being trapped and even when you do manage to escape , you find that you’re in an even bigger cage. This concerns her but instead of prying she elects to try distracting him from those thoughts with a little trick she’s learned after becoming a guardian fairy. Flora casts an old favorite spell of hers : nature’s symphony; but with an Enchantix twist. The spell gives Helia a temporary connection with the surrounding flowers.
This however only aggravated the situation and Helia had a panic outburst which made Flora stop the spell. After Which he left, saying that he needs time alone and Flora just sits there concerned and confused.
Scene 9
Tecna is currently extremely stressed with constant guardian fairy duties , after one particular mission where she saved a few kids from falling to their death she gets back home where she collapses from the stress plus she’s just generally exhausted. On her phone we see a few encouraging texts from Timmy.
Scene 10
This transitions us into a few texts between Musa and Riven. This whole part is silent happening in a recording studio before the start of Musa’s audition for a small band, the only kind of communication being used here is body language and texts popping up on the screen. Musa has decided she deserves better than the treatment she’s received from Riven
over the years and weirdly enough, Riven agrees. He uncharacteristically shows that he’s sorry and that he’s trying to work on himself with Helia’s help.
He enrolled into therapy and he starts in a few weeks. Musa doesn't know what to say considering she had planned to berate him, with nothing to say and apathy consuming her she simply ends the conversation, wishing him the best and then sitting down to try and get her mind off this by playing her flute.
But she can't seem to get anything to sound right, art block is hitting her hard and very evidently not allowing her to ignore her problems. She gets frustrated and starts crying. At that moment Aisha texts her in their group chat, they end up calling and Aisha tries to comfort Musa as we get a shot of her crying in her room.
Scene 11
We come back to Bloom having a little snow fight with Kiko in the park, she’s calling with Sky, she’s currently venting to him about how she feels and they both proceed to trauma dump each other. Sky doesnt know what he wants to do with his future, he knows he’s going to be the king of Eraklion someday but he wants more out of life, not that he doesn't want to be king but he wants his own identity separate from his title as heir to the throne.
He mentions feeling guilty because unlike Bloom he at least has his kingdom and she will have to work her butt off just to get something that was part of her birthright. She reasurse him that his struggles are valid, sure her’s are a bit more daunting but that doesn't make his problems any less real.
She returns home, gets a cup of hot chocolate milk and sits outside, cradling Kiko as he falls asleep. This whole scene is cute but there’s an underlying feeling of dread. Her parents notice her brooding and look at her with concerned facial expressions. The last shot of the episode is of Bloom’s house as it’s snowing.
So dis was the first chapter of my rewrite :D yay

Hi, 1 and 12 for the ask game :)?
Hey! Sorry for the delay ;) 1. List 3 shipping tropes you love Won't surprise anyone with this one but I'm a sucker for Friends to Lovers. Like the tension of realizing you're developing more than friendship for someone, interpreting every single interaction, wondering if the other feels the same way. And when they are finally together, they have to work on their relation to make it work and not be just a friendship... There is an history between them so to me it's when the relationship can be the more powerful!
Another one I love is Rivals to Lovers... To me it's the best "ennemies-to-lovers" sort of trope because there is no the hatred factor of ennemies. There's also the fact that I just like to see people bittering like an old couple!
And for the third one I would say Seductive x Shy baby. I just love to see someone flirting so clearly with his loved one and the loved one, being either to shy to answer or suddenly discovering they can flirt (Hello Floranagan)... I also love how the seductive character generally raises Shy baby character's self-esteem. It's so important to me!
12. List 3 ships you currently love Gosh that's so HARD... I will probably use the first question to answer the second one because it's easier and makes sense.
Gwen and Duncan, Total Drama aka Friends to lovers but also Stefan and Caroline, The Vampire Diaries
Have they been done wrong? Definitly. The cheating part is unforgivable from the writers and from the characters. But WT episode 15? That's what you find next to "friends to lovers" in a dictionary. You also find the whole Steroline story because THAT'S a Friends to Lovers done perfectly even if in the end... She suffers and he dies.
Dan and Blair, Gossip Girl aka Rivals to Lovers
They are also a good example of how a relationship can do a full circle in the different possibilities. Lovers, Friends, Best Friends, Ennemies, Strangers, Rivals, Tolerate Each Other, Unrequited Love... THEY DID EVERYTHING. But how I love their rivals to lovers relationship... Please juste give me a valid reason why the writers destroyed them for the toxicest relationship of all times? Chair for those who don't know.
Flora and Anagan, Winx Club aka Seductive x Shy Baby
They are ennemies to lovers but come on this trope fits them so much better! She has never been as flirty as with him and he made her have fun in battle which was something she never experienced! They would have been everything and I love them.

Tbh doesn't charmix feels very out of place and like a last minute addition?
Like they earned it a few episodes from the final battle and it wasnt even mentioned or got hinted at the slightest
Also shouldn't Charmix and Enchantix would be common knowledge to fairies since Charmix boosts their base form and Enchantix makes them a full fledged fairy? Like I think everyone in the club except Bloom would know about a fairy form that makes them a full fledged fairy
IT FUCKIN DOOO
I'm obsessed with the concept of Charmix bc transformation you get from character development appeals to me soooo much, but it's handled so terribly lolololl
Like you'd think once you get magic Winx people would be constantly looking at self help books or something to get Charmix XD
S2 is all ABOUT learning about the characters and watching them develop and it's a damn shame that Charmix wasn't integrated better, like imagine Musa getting her Charmix at the end of her concert bc she followed her mom's advice??? That would be so cute!! And it would have nothing to do with Riven
I love my boy, but Musa has a life outside of him and the show tested my last nerve with the way she got her Charmix
And then it disappears in s3. Tbh I've always been of the opinion that Charmix should have been its own transformation, the concept of a power up adds nothing to the show except less things to design
Yeah everyone should have been well aware, it's like when no one but Bloom knew what a pixie was because Bloom accidentally met one. Like this stuff should be common knowledge
But like, quite frankly the show is bad, and I love it for that because it's fun to fix it and it's hilarious, so like after the first time none of them know something that should be well known I just gave up on the concept outside of pithy comments in my live blogs
The show has literally no concept of genuine world building. It has a facade of a place and never thought through the consequences
Anyways Charmix isn't even a transformation to me, she's my baby girl

A New Wallpaper Nickelodeon Backgrounds 2025
Nickelodeon, formerly known as Pinwheel, or C-3, (often shortened to Nick) is an American pay television network owned by Paramount Global through its Paramount Media Networks division. The channel's programming is mainly aimed at children and adolescents aged 8 to over, and primarily consists of original first-run television series, along with occasional broadcasts of theatrical and original made-for-television films, as well as other selected third-party programming.
Nickelodeon was first tested on December 1, 1977 as the C-3 channel of QUBE, an early local cable television system in Columbus, Ohio. Initially, the C-3 channel exclusively aired Pinwheel, an educational show developed by Dr. Vivian Horner; the series' success allowed Horner to expand the program into a full channel on national television. The channel, now named Nickelodeon, was launched nationwide as the first cable network aimed at children on April 1, 1979, with Pinwheel as its first program. The network was initially commercial-free and remained without advertising until 1984.
Today, Nickelodeon's programming runs Mondays - Thursdays from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT Mondays - Thursdays, Fridays from 6:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. ET/PT and weekends from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. ET/PT (if including the Nick Jr. block) (the sign-off time varies with holidays and special programming). Since 1985, it has shared its channel space with Nick at Nite, a nighttime block that airs during interim hours and is treated by Nielsen as a separate channel for ratings purposes. As of 2018, Nickelodeon is available to over 87.1 million households in the United
Nickelodeon's first series Pinwheel was tested on December 1, 1977 as part of QUBE, a local cable system in Columbus, Ohio. The puppet-driven show, created by Dr. Vivian Horner, performed well with QUBE subscribers, and convinced the staff to launch a full children's channel, with Pinwheel as its flagship program.
On April 1, 1979, the channel launched to a national audience under the name Nickelodeon. During its broadcast day, it would air shows such as Pinwheel, Video Comics, America Goes-Bananaz, Nickel Flicks, and By the Way.
In 1980, Geraldine Laybourne joined the network as program manager, and would become vice president of Nickelodeon in 1984 before being named its president in 1989.
During the 1980s and 1990s, the channel became known for its green slime, originally featured in the network's first major hit, the Canadian sketch comedy show You Can't Do That On Television. The slime was then adopted by the channel as a primary feature of many of its game shows and special events.
In 1985, the "Silver Ball" logo (which debuted in 1981) was replaced with the orange shape-shifting logo (introduced in 1984) which would continue to be used for nearly 45 years.
On August 11, 1991, Nickelodeon introduced the Nicktoons, original animated shows created by the network. The first three Nicktoons were Doug, The Ren & Stimpy Show, and Rugrats. The shows became highly popular, and Nickelodeon Animation Studio continues to produce new Nicktoons to this day.
The most successful Nicktoon, SpongeBob SquarePants, premiered as a "sneak peek" on May 1, 1999. By 2004, it had become the most profitable program in Nickelodeon history. In 2002, a cable channel called Nicktoons TV was launched. Several original shows have premiered new episodes on the Nicktoons network.
In the early 2010s, Nickelodeon debuted the first two Nicktoons based on preexisting TV franchises, as opposed to new characters: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Winx Club. These two revamped shows were developed at Nickelodeon Animation Studio following Viacom's purchases of both properties. In 2019, Nick Animation debuted its first streaming-exclusive Nicktoon, Pinky Malinky, which was released on Netflix rather than television. Several months later, the studio announced a multi-year deal to produce animated content for Netflix, including new properties and spin-offs of previous Nicktoons.
This is a list of television programs broadcast by Nickelodeon in the United States. The channel was first tested on December 1, 1977, as an experimental local channel in Columbus, Ohio. On April 1, 1979, the channel expanded into a national network named Nickelodeon.
The first program broadcast on Nickelodeon was Pinwheel, a preschool series created by Dr. Vivian Horner, who also conceived the idea for the channel itself. At its launch, Nickelodeon was commercial-free and mainly featured educational shows. By 1984, the channel began accepting traditional advertisements and introduced more entertainment-focused programming. In January 1988, the network launched a weekday morning block for preschoolers called Nick Jr., which carried Pinwheel and other educational series. Around the same time, Nickelodeon started to invest in its own original animated shows, which eventually premiered in 1991 under the "Nicktoons" branding. Since then, the channel has consistently aired a mix of original live-action and animated titles.
Nicktoons is the brand name given to the animated television series that are produced and aired by Nickelodeon.
The first three "Nicktoons" (Doug, Rugrats, and The Ren & Stimpy Show) began production in 1990 before premiering as part of a 90-minute block on Sunday, August 11, 1991. This format was repeated every Sunday, eventually leading to the production of more Nicktoons at Nickelodeon Animation Studio's first facility in California.
1999 marked the premiere of SpongeBob SquarePants, which would later become the longest-running Nicktoon. During the same year, Nickelodeon opened a second animation facility in New York City. A spin-off channel named after Nicktoons was established on May 1, 2002.
In the 2010s, Nickelodeon Animation Studio began to produce Nicktoons based on pre-existing franchises that had been purchased by Viacom: Winx Club (in 2011) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (in 2012). Both shows had unprecedentedly high budgets for Nicktoons, and a large team of Nickelodeon veterans grouped to work on Winx Club. A series for a third acquired property, Garfield, is in development.
The Nicktoons brand also extends to other media, such as crossover games featuring the Nicktoon characters (including Nicktoons Unite! and the Nickelodeon Super Brawl series). Since 2001, the official slogan for the brand has been "[They're] Not just cartoons, they're Nicktoons".
Nickelodeon also operates language or culture-specific channels for various markets in different parts of the world, and has licensed some of its cartoons and other content, in English and local languages, to TV and cable stations such as KI.KA and Super RTL in Germany, RTÉ Two (English) and TG4 (Irish) in Ireland, YTV and Teletoon (English) and VRAK.TV (French) in Canada, Canal J in France, Alpha Kids in Greece and CNBC-e in Turkey.
As of 2007, the network also broadcasts in Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Scandinavia, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Cyprus, India, Italy, Israel, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Hungary, France, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Africa, Latin America, and Brazil.
On October 11, 2006, Viacom's subsidiary MTV Networks Asia Pacific set up a new unit to manage Nickelodeon South East Asia TV based in Singapore. Nickelodeon was launched in Singapore and expanded its services in Southeast Asia, South Asia and Polynesia. Today, Nickelodeon Philippines and Nickelodeon India work independently. They started their new website Nicksplat.com in 2003.
In India, Nickelodeon is available on the One Alliance bouquet, through the Dish TV and Tata Sky DTH services. In the Philippines, it is available on SkyCable Gold, Silver and Platinum channel 45, Sun Cable channel 34 and Global Destiny Cable channel 21. In Hong Kong, it is available on now TV, while in Malaysia, it is available over Astro via Channel 60. In Singapore, it is available over Starhub Cable TV and in Indonesia, Nickelodeon is available on Astro Nusantara channel 14, and is also broadcast on Global TV, a free-to-air television channel.
A pan-Arabia version of Nickelodeon was relaunched in 2008, in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Lebanon. From the late 1990s until the mid-2000s, Nickelodeon was offered on the Showtime Arabia and Orbit satellite services until they were removed; today Nickelodeon Arabia is only available on Orbit Showtime (OSN) along with Nick Jr.
Several Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. programs can also be seen overseas on the U.S. military-exclusive AFN Family channel. Bubble Guppies NKJR

For funsies, what was your earliest whump memory? Mine was probably The Jungle Book. I remember really liking the scenes with Kaa and Mowgli. There was restraints and hypnosis, what more could little Huffle ask for at the time?
When I got older (like ~12), Winx Club was my whump jam. Bloom was my favorite character, and boy did that girl get whumped a lot. She would faint, get kidnapped, and fall into traps almost every episode.
Now don't think I was gonna type this out and not provide evidence!

Winx Club Rewrite: Season 3
I understand this is me being very late to the party, but that's pretty on-brand for me at this point lol
A few years ago, I started to work on a possible rewrite for Fate: The Winx Saga but it soon became this monstrous project of rewriting the entire franchise. Because while this series is one of my beloved childhood series, it is also very messy with its world-building and plotlines, as well being done dirty over and over again by its countless reboots. As much as I would have loved to create a full-on alternative universe like the ones I've seen on tumblr for years, it just took up so much of my time that could have been spent on other projects and it was starting to feel more like a chore than anything else. Eventually, I did create some fashion boards for how to translate their outfits from the show into real life, and wrote up some concept ideas for their live-action costumes, which led to me just writing up the notes I had for the rewrite to share them with y'all.
Some of these ideas were inspired by other people's rewrite of the series, some of these ideas came to me while writing this up, and a lot of these are my attempt to make sense of Winx Club's fucked-up lore. While these were originally written with a live-action reboot in mind, these could also work for an animated reboot targeted for teens/young adults.
This is probably the extent I'll do for any sort of Winx Club rewrite, but it was still fun!
-The season begins with an episode showcasing a young fairy named Destiny (who is based off Fate's version of Bloom) starting her journey at Alfea… only for her to get kidnapped at the end of the episode by a witch named Beatrice (Beatrix). At the end of the first episode, her body is possessed by the Ancestral Witch so she can have a physical form. Once the Ancestral Witch is defeated, Destiny dies as her soul was shattered (and even if she did manage to survive, her mind would have been broken as a result)
-Beatrice breaks Valtor out of Omega, which acts as the storyline for the first episode, which involves Destiny deciding to go on a mission alone to prove herself but being kidnapped by Beatrice. She helps the Ancestral Witch for quite some time, being the one to possess political figures (such as Sky and King Radius) but disappears soon after stealing the Agador Box (an ancient artifact containing a sinister power inside) from Valtor's possession.
-The Witch's Kiss has severe consequences, even after being broken with Fairy Dust. One such example is King Radius, who becomes sick for many weeks and has all the side effects of being severely poisoned. This is the result of his negative feelings for his ex-wife tainting his heart & mind, leading him to become a prideful man who only cares about keeping his reputation intact. Fortunately, since Stella cannot be at the kingdom all the time, this leads him to repairing his friendship with Luna when she comes to check on him, and they decide that while there is too much bad history for them to get married again, they agree to get along better for Stella's sake.
-The story of Sky ends in a tragedy. First, he is possessed by the Witch's Kiss after running into a disguised Beatrice, causing him to turn against not only the Winx Club but his own sister (forcefully taking the throne from her) and forcing Elisa to accept his proposal. Once he is freed, he loses his memories of Bloom and while they try to have a better relationship this time around, there is too much mental strain on Bloom to continue on, so they agree to end the relationship and focus on their friendship instead. For the rest of the season, Sky tries to make amends and become a better person for the sake of his kingdom (as his father refuses to give the throne back to his sister), but his life is cut short when the Ancestral Witch kills him in cold blood after Valtor's betrayal.
-Thoren Laufeyson is a native to Domino, being one of the brightest wizards to exist. The son of a widowed seamstress, his older sister was content with their simple life but the magic running in his veins craved for more. Enrolling himself into Cloud Tower, he met Daphne and they became fast friends, where they fell in love as they grew older. Unfortunately, as Domino as falling, he was betrayed by Politea to the Paladins (as part of her deal to the Ancestral Witch) and framed for her crimes. After being freed, he renames himself as Valtor and wishes to get revenge on those he felt should have saved Domino in its time of need. But after learning Daphne is still alive, his goals change and he will do anything to break the curse, even if it means betraying the Ancestral Witch. Once the curse is broken, Daphne forgives him for trying to burn the world for her sake, as she would have done the same if their roles were swapped. In the end, he goes to Light Rock to clear his reputation, but the Paladins decide to clean his record regardless, as a long overdue apology on their part.
-The Trix get their redemption arcs. Icy returns to noble society and goes back to her legal name, where she is horrified at Sky's actions (as she notices the signs of him being under a spell) and she helps the Winx free him from the Witch's Kiss, as she longed to be with his sister instead. Darcy is accepted into the royal Solarian court after being manipulated by her birth mother (a redesigned Countess Cassandra) to go along with the Ancestral Witch's plan. Finally, Stormy and Aisha rebuild their friendship, and she is introduced to Rose (a female Roy), a female Specialist from Andros and the yacht driver for the royal family.
-Bloom still forces herself to earn her Enchantix, but she earns her true form after taking a fatal blow meant to break Daphne's mirror; she then uses her fairy dust bottle to break her sister's curse, which is a decision she silently made all the way back in the first season. Musa earns her Enchantix when she pushes Galatea (who is not a princess, but a rising pop star from Melody) out of the way of a falling bookshelf and smoke fills her lungs. Tecna earns her Enchantix when the Omega Portal is located on Zenith. Aisha earns her Enchantix in almost the same way, as both her and Nabu had been poisoned by Tritannus' pollution magic, but she gave up the chance to regain her eyesight to save him from death.
-Tressa, Tritannus, and Nereus appear in this season, but with major changes. None of them are related to Aisha's family, Tressa is the eldest child who is about to inherit the throne, Nereus is a sickly triton who is naturally talented in magic, and Tritannus is a visibly more disturbed person, being jealous of his twin brother for no reason and believing the world "owned" him, which is why he joined forces with Valtor with no regards to his family.
-Stella gets her prototype hairstyle (her hair let loose with a single bun on the back), and Musa's hair is styled similar to Lei Fang's from Dead or Alive (put into two braids, looped around, and pinned on either side of her head) with long straight side locks.
-Aisha and Nabu learn their parents that they are been put into an arranged marriage with each other. While they are initially upset over their lack of decision in the process, the two soon begin to realize how much they do care about each other, and they realize that even if they had not been put into an arranged marriage, they would still have chosen each other.
-Though she is still weak from being trapped for almost two decades, and the prior abuse her body went through beforehand, Daphne is still quite powerful when she returns to her human form. Though she will never be able to transform again, she is truly happy to have a physical body once more, and she is even happier to see her baby sister alive.
-The girls still visit the Golden Kingdom, but instead of getting the Water Stars, things play out differently. The kingdom is an empty palace where a single voice guides each girl through a trial of personal challenges, and if the girl shows a willingness to sacrifice what is most important, then they shall be gifted with a new ability to face the Ancestral Witch.

Yeah, I might not have watched Winx Club outside of one or two episodes back when it was airing, but one megacrossover fanfic verse I used to follow (before they used the "cure your asexuals" trope and I just cut myself off from the entire thing), had Winx Club in one of the FEW segments that was safe from the overall quality decay (which of course meant that it was basically dead), and thus I am very familiar with how Diasporo was BASICALLY a designated villain prior to the whole "Love Potion" thing.
Mostly because, y'know, her fiance cheated on her with some other girl, while also keeping her existence and their engagement a SECRET from the girl he was cheating on her with, risking a potential international scandal in the process.
Which is a VERY valid reason to be upset, even if it doesn't justify her later actions!
So I'm guessing Diasporo won't be a villain in your reboot?
YEAH
Like re: Canon: I give Sky /some/ of a break because like.
1.) His thing with Diaspro was very clearly an arranged marriage where he didn't love her but only felt obligated to do out of a Duty to his People, and started to fall for Bloom naturally. He is conflicted about doing what he has to as a Royal vs. following his heart rather than 'oh which cute girl do I choose?', and later issues with Diaspro after Sky chooses Bloom are either Bloom being jealous and not trusting while he tries to keep Diaspro as a friend and caring about her general wellbeing as a person and/or Diaspro going full manipulative villain who does some love potion/mind control shit.
and
2.) In the first season, Sky had switched identities with Brandon because for security reasons. So while he cared about Bloom and was clearly falling for her, telling her about the switch is still off the table because he's trying to not fucking die(even if he thinks he can trust that Bloom isn't some assassin, he doesn't know how well she can keep secrets).
Like don't get me wrong, this is early 2000s heteronormativity so there's plenty of romance drama and fucking up with them overall. But this thing I at least look at the bigger picture for.
BUT YEAH DIASPRO AND THE ROMANCE DRAMA IN MY REWRITE IDEA
So first off, we still have the Sky/Brandon swap plot, but there's more weight added to the whole 'protect the prince' thing. Civil unrest in his homeworld, assassination attempts, etc. Sky is legit in danger, and swapping identities with Brandon is a good option to keep him safe.
Within my rewrite, he does voice that he does NOT like this plan. He does not want people to die for him, especially his best friend. But his parents overrule his wishes on that, and Brandon thinks that, as much as he doesn't want to die, Sky is a good person who will make good changes when he takes the throne so he is willing to risk himself to keep his friend safe. (Sky makes this very hard by risking himself to keep everyone else safe as well lmao)
So yeah they do the swap thing and telling the others is.... a little low on the list. Because of the danger, even if they trust the groups. (Riven and Timmy figure it out so quick tho lmao)
Back to Diaspro!
Diaspro is still, technically, Sky's fiance. However, Sky is very adamant that he is not going to marry her. Yes he has a duty to his people, but it is not going to be done by using her as a bargaining chip in a political alliance.
When Diaspro shows up and accidentally outs the 'they swapped and I'm his fiance' thing, everyone's understandably upset which has Sky ramble the whole thing to try and explain that he is very much not cheating he does love Bloom this is a Complicated™ situation etc. Which.... yeah there's a little hurt still because emotions aren't always rational, but everyone understands.
Diaspro doesn't exactly take this /well/ because while Sky has kinda said it before, this is the first time he's been very blunt and makes her realize that he might be serious. She does kinda start a fight with Bloom in a 'jealous catfight' way, but Bloom can absolutely hold her own in a fight by now. Sky tries to talk to her and explain that he does still care about her, but he doesn't love her like that.
Diaspro kinda sulks off screen in denial until the Season Finale episodes. Er, long story short: giant Army of Darkness that is down to kill like fuckin everyone in it's path.
She shows up again to try and get Sky to evacuate. Save himself. He's a Prince, he should have people fighting for him, not be in the battle!
Sky gives her a speech about the kind of King he wants to be when he takes the throne. He wants to help his people, to protect them. How can he do that if he doesn't get involved and instead hides away in a palace, doing his best to relax while everyone else takes care of it for him?
It makes Diaspro pause for a moment. If they were still to get married one day, what kind of Queen would she want to be? She stays for the battle and helps out where she can.
In the time between seasons, Diaspro does a lot of thinking. Firstly, getting over the heartbreak and realizing it's not exactly heartbreak. She didn't love Sky. Not like a romantic love at least, she still cares for him. But the idea of him as her future husband has been in her head since she was a child.
Which leads her to thinking over her life. How everything her parents wanted her to do, everything they raised her for, every skill she has? It all is based around the idea that she's going to be Sky's trophy wife.
If that's not to be her future, she has no idea what to do. What would she even /want/ to do?
After much thought, she gets enrolled at Alfea. Lying to her parents about how going to the school would let her be around Sky more often and 'win him back from that harlot!', but having no intention of doing so.
Within Season 2, Diaspro gets dragged into the main group through both seeking Bloom out to apologize for before and reassure her, and also because the Main Plot involves being underground, and Diaspro's Earth and Gemstone-based Magic will help a lot with that.
I don't have direct plans for her in further seasons other than agreeing with Sky about dissolving their marriage arrangement and that their Realm needs a lot of changes in the coming future.
