Possibilities - Some Supergirl and Brainy! This one still makes me smile when I read it, and the wonderful @padawanton made some art for this that just makes it so special to me. This one is also works as a sequel to Hope, which I am very proud of, too.

One Last Moment - My first time writing in the MCU, and I think my first time writing at all in quite some time back when I'd written it. The release of Winter Soldier inspired a lot of feelings in me, and got me flexing my creative muscles, so this little ficlet about Steve and Bucky has a special place in my heart.

Socks - An exploration of grief set in the world of Defiance. I was really proud of this one, even thought it's probably not been read my many; I watched the show long after it aired. But my heart is in these words.

The Gift - It's some Kara and Clark fluff that I forever love, and it's canon in my heart, haha. I just think this one feels like warmth.

Nothingness - Get in losers, we're exploring grief again. Wandavision got my mind working, and the 8th episode got me writing. It's just a little ficlet, but once again my heart is in every word.

Pay the Asking Price

so this one, for those who don't know, is my Supergirl season 2 rewrite/Elseworlds story, based on the question "what if Brainy was in the pod from the end of season 1 instead of Mon-El?" It came about in 2019 due to a couple different things, and once I realized how much it worked, I had to write it, and I did. And I really enjoyed doing so! It's the longest fanfic I've ever done, and I think one of the only longer stories I've ever completed.

2. No Connection/Hope Burns Bright

these stories aren't exactly connected, but they do both feature Brainysupes, so I'm just putting them together. The first one came about as a story inspired by my friend Pesky's Heart of Steel collection, which is a bunch of her fanfics that are all based on specific episodes of TV that we watched. The second was inspired by me suddenly realizing how similar Brainy in LOSH is to Aya from Green Lantern the Animated Series, and how much I wanted them to be friends because of those similarities, combined with the AU I already had where Brainy is a Green Lantern as well as some Green Lantern lore from the Rebirth series featuring Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz. I loved writing them both, I love LOSH animated Brainy and his crush on Superman.

3. I loved you yesterday

my first Marvel fanfic, this one is based on Wandavision and features Vision's POV during the Halloween episode and the big climactic scene with him in that episode in particular. Because of course I'd be drawn to writing about the robot who had an evil "relative" but who also rejected that heritage and fell in love with another superhero. I took a lot of notes for this one, and looking back on it, I'm still really happy with this fanfic and how I wrote Vision. I still miss him, I wish he'd come back.

This one I just wrote right after Supergirl 5x06 in a burst of inspiration, and I'm glad it got such a positive response because I really enjoy it too.

5. something we must learn

my second Supergirl/Flash crossover fic, featuring Nora and Brainy because I still think they should have met and I have no idea why they didn't. Especially since, as we learned, they were both inhibited by their parents and it would have been neat for them to talk about it.

What are some fan-fictions that (in your opinion) have the best characterisation of Percy Weasley?

Oof, this was difficult. 😅

There are plenty of fanfics that I love that don't necessarily have the most realistic characterization of Percy, so it's hard for me to remember which story was which (without rereading all of them, which is a lot), but I did the best that I could!

Please make sure you look at the warnings/tags if you are going to read any of these stories, because some of them deal with some heavy topics.

I'm sure there's a ton more than this, but I thought Percy's characterization was well-written in these stories:

What is Right and What is Easy by WinterSky101 (Gen, Rated T) --- This story includes Percy's life as a spy during Book 7 and his subsequent friendship with Aberforth.

A New Life by AnotherAuthor & myroaringtwenties (Percy x Oliver & Percy x Audrey, Rated M) --- This was a post-canon story with some great Percy & George bonding, and I love the way Audrey wasn't bashed for Percy x Oliver to be endgame.

Maybe Dead Is All I Can Be by witchyasgod (Percy x OMC, Rated T) --- This story includes Percy as a spy and then as a ghost (so warnings for major character death/murder), but it showed Percy coming to terms with his life/his family and finding a way to not waste his afterlife.

Extraordinary Lengths by MaxWrite (Percy x Barty Jr., Rated E) --- I know it sounds weird, and there's some seriously dark themes in it, but trust me, if you're okay with the tags/warnings, then this story was incredible!

this was such a soft and wonderful character study. the soft slow build and determined communication...yeah this fic was written with such care and you can tell
