The Snow Queen and Santa CLAWS are here to bring winter cheer!

The Unseelie Court invites the Vampire clans to their autumn festival.

The Fall Faeries: Arianna in her cobweb glory, Absinthe in her Autumn Seeming, and Sambuca wearing this year's crown.

The Vampires:

Roxy posing on the fainting couch with Jocelyn, Alexis has already ditched her shoes, and Helen sitting demurely. (She fools everyone into thinking she's harmless.)

And of course the Vampires and the Fey always invite their favorite celebrity, The Pumpkin King Himself!

This was my first pass for this set up. I'm thinking that we will continue this well into Xmas season, shifting toward a Jack Skellington Christmastime as the weeks go by.

I think I have a Jack Skellington blow up thing for the yard; I'm thinking about a Halloweentown Christmas display in the yard this year. I've ordered some awesome snowflake ornaments, and I'm looking for spiderweb ones to add in.

"Krampus" and "Santa Claus" are largely the same. They are a pair of True Fae (Gentry) with an interest in humanity. He Who Gives and He Who Takes. He Who Rewards and He Who Punishes. They are shadowbound to each other and share titles such as 'Hold Nickar', 'Joulupukki', and 'Toymaker'. They have multiple titles and forms. They are immortal, mighty, and remorseless inhabitants of the Icy Vastness region of Arcadia (Faerie).

The biggest difference is that Krampus makes fetches of his victims - fae-constructed replicas/duplicates of human beings left behind to take an abductee’s place.

Relistening to Emily Wildes Encylopedia of faeries and GOD the way Emily describes the feeling of being enchanted and her thoughts......absolutely riveting. It's more horrifying, that she's aware of it, I think. A strange horror, knowing your will is being manipulated and controlled. Knowing you're being puppettted is such a specific horror, I think compounded partially by the fact that she at least partially is able to hold together her mind. To keep her journal, to record all that she could perceive happening, however disjointed her perspective was, even to herself.
