Relistening to Emily Wildes Encylopedia of faeries and GOD the way Emily describes the feeling of being enchanted and her thoughts......absolutely riveting. It's more horrifying, that she's aware of it, I think. A strange horror, knowing your will is being manipulated and controlled. Knowing you're being puppettted is such a specific horror, I think compounded partially by the fact that she at least partially is able to hold together her mind. To keep her journal, to record all that she could perceive happening, however disjointed her perspective was, even to herself.
