The NPS (and other land management agencies) are under attack from two sides, with the Trump administration cutting funding and jobs and the Interior Secretary releasing an order that could open up national monuments for drilling and mining. These lands need to be preserved for generations to come. Please please please consider using these three easy email templates (each for a different aspect of the cause, so do all three if you can) to contact your congresspeople and tell them not to support these policies. Even if it feels pointless, I promise you it isn't - every communique counts. Even now, the NYT has reported that the administration is considering backtracking on cutting jobs because of public outcry - but this can only continue if the outcry continues.

I believe in Land Back, and I don't think that the government should have control over these lands if their indigenous stewards can have them instead. However, there will be no ability to give the land back if the land gets destroyed first. Please help protect them while we can.

i've met like five people in my 10 years in this fandom that genuinely cared about sorscha, the rest of them only care because her death made dorian sad or because they think it's funny to joke about her being beheaded. i get thinking it's an unpopular opinion to not be saddened by her death, but it's *not* unpopular to not care about her as a character. nobody fucking does

and it's so frustrating bc she is genuinely my second favorite character in the series and has been since i first read heir of fire. when i read it i was in middle school and very socially anxious and couldn't relate to celaena's confidence/brashness. so to see this character come along who was a little shy and kept her head down and just did what she had to do... that made me so happy. *and* she got to be with the prince she'd been crushing on from afar? oh my god. it was like a dream come true for me. (same reason i love elide and malide/elorcan). i love her so much and i just want her to get more respect. the way that some characters will appear for super brief times - ansel, the cadre outside of rowan/lorcan, etc. - and people LOVE them but when it comes to sorscha they're always like "she just didn't get enough time for me to be interested in her" like girl she got a full b plot 😭

i know you can't control what characters people like or dislike or are uninterested in, and i honestly am not bothered by people not being super into her, it's just the way some people act like they're quirky for that that annoys me. and it makes me sad like my shaylaaa she deserves more love
