Ahhhh I’ve missed my messy family drama so much. It’s been far too long. I see I have a new object of my hate this season, Kiyoka’s mom. Absolute bitch for NO reason. No wonder he’s so emotionally scarred if he grew up in a home with her. The absolute audacity of this bitch to insult Miyo’s appearance and background when she’s a guest in her house. I wanted to come thru the tv and wring her neck so bad. Kiyoka showed way more restraint than I.

Idek how his parents are together considering they’re total opposites. I mean I’m sure it was an arranged thing, but the fact Kiyoka dad seems happy with her makes me feel like there’s more to her than meets the eye. Still, no excuse for her behavior.

On the bright side, Kiyoka’s sister continues to be the best sister-in-law in animanga history! I love how she encourages Miyo to get outside her comfort zone and grow, yet remains patient and understanding of Miyo’s trauma. Genuinely great person.

Missed the way Miyo and Kiyoka look at each other so bad. So many cute scenes in this ep, handholding and Kiyoka looks at her with the softest, most understanding gaze now. That misunderstanding with them sharing the same bed and Miyo turning red as a beet was so damn cute.

I’m worried about this calamity the prince is talking about. It must have something to do with the shadowy figure stalking Miyo.. but who and what? This season is gonna be really interesting. Seems like way higher stakes than the last. Can’t wait. Great start.

Sakamoto Days: The cast is amazing (Sugitan, Zakki, Hanae, Ryouta, Taku) and it looks really intriguing. I think this one is going to be one of the best this season, I'm very excited!

Might watch:

Mahoutsukai no Yakusoku: Lots of ikemen and a nice male cast (The Emperor, Asanuma, Totto, Hino, Tachi etc). Based on a simulation fantasy game. The MC is a female, which I don't like, but as long as I don't get any romance vibes - I might watch this.

Babanbabanban Vampire: I remember getting excited when the anime was announced since it's BL, and I was waiting for the cast reveal but then got depressed finding out it's NamiDai*. Yay for Yukke tho. But I wish the vampire was someone else :/

There are also the SK8 OVA and Boueibu Movie that hopefully will be available for the rest of us soon enough!!

I'm also gonna continue watching (anime from Fall that continue to Winter):

Ao no Miburo - I enjoy it a lot! (Most of) the characters are so likeable (same goes for their seiyuu ;D).

Youkai Gakkou no Sensei Hajimemashita! - I'm really happy it got 24 eps! I could watch 100! I really enjoy this anime! It's hilarious and cute!

Trillion Game - which wasn't on my Fall Anime List but I tried watching it early on and then kept watching because it's really intriguing (and I really like Haru. He's such a cool - AND HOT - character and he actually made me appreciate his seiyuu - Ootsuka Takeo - a lot more).

*I said in the past that I won't dwell on the drama, but sometimes I really feel like making a post of me screaming all of my thoughts about those seiyuu who cheated and had huge scandals and made me unable to enjoy any anime with them but somehow they still get work and are not canceled. But I'm holding on.

Beginning to scope out what I'll follow for Winter 2025 Anime and one of the early interests has to be Ameku M.D. Doctor Detective. I've seen this called the House anime in passing online and I can see the similarities on the surface given the main character and focus on odd unexplained illnesses. Hopefully it can keep itself interesting.

First Impression: Zenshu

Natsuko Hirose is a young hotshot animation director who skyrocketed to fame with her first production that was so relevant it became a cultural phenomenon. Time is getting tight and her hair is getting long (she’s sworn an oath, Nazirite-style, not to cut it until she’s finished storyboarding), when, during a lunch break starring suspiciously colorful seafood, Natsuko collapses to the floor, choking, her face turning as iridescent as her ill-fated lunch. When she looks up, she’s in The Tale of Perishing, a failed anime from Natsuko’s childhood, and her single favorite work of art on account of its sheer incomprehensibility. Natsuko barely has any time to do herself and all otaku proud by geeking out appropriately over her surroundings and beloved cast, when the enemy strikes en masse, and a vital plot point—the critical death of the OG series—is set to unfold. But what can a lowly animator who looks like Cousin It in a purple hoodie do in such a scenario? unwatchable per usual.

they really could make a decent looking show if they wanted, they clearly know how to animate people but they like deliberately choose to do everything in a way that is just massively overstimulating for no reason. like what does animating every individual strand of hair like its its own entity or making the one girl's chest bounce all over the place every time she moves add like genuinely. doesn't mean they could make a decently written original show though, every character in this was super annoying.

checked this one out from a sense of morbid curiosity and now i have seen enough lol.
