Cryptid of the Day: Winged Cats

Description: In 1975, the Manchester Evening News published a photo of a cat with a pair of hairy wings. This was just one of several winged cats reported on Britain. The explanation for this, however, was more simple. These cats suffer from feline cutaneous, which causes the skin on cats to become elastic, thus wing like.

some more public domain character designs. first with a randomly generated color palette and then with just black white and green.

Link to download the also public domain lineart and the HD versions of these is here. The lineart is based on a winged cat from a medieval manuscript. I got progressively lazier with it after drawing the head, which is why the front legs are so scribbly.

Let's start with a story explination.

3 warriors of thunder clan, far off in the future, way beyond the settings of the current books, find themselves in the land just beyond the moonpool, having ventyred out to explore, come across a strange, glowing rift in the air, hovering inches from the ground. Dared by eachother, the one cat paws at it, causing bright light to flash and all three siblings to be sucked into the rift.

When they come to, they find themselves in a strange new world filled with creatures they have never seen before, two headed dogs, horses with horns on their head, and some with wings, strange and enormous lizards that breath fire. And eventually... winged cats! A whole clans worth of them, but living in three small groups.

The 3 siblings are stuck here for the time being so what better to do then see what these cats are like. They have a whole system thats similar but also vastly different from that which the warriors know now.

Come join their adventure and see just what kind of things they can get up to in this strange new world.

I got progressively lazier with the line art after I drew the face

hey guess what. Both of these are public domain. The first one because it was literally made in medieval times and the second one because I made it and I said so. Use both for literally anything you want, you just can't tell other people they can't use them lol.
