Purple Cosplay Construction [Part One]

Alright,

I am a VERY indecisive goof.

And decided that in the meantime, while I plan my merc gun and such,

I would get a dream of mine done.

Building myself Purple's Elytra (based on headcanons).

Which is proving difficult because the WINGSPAN of this thing covers MOST OF MY FLOOR.

Hello Swordtember! I um, actually will have some new art for tomorrow hopefully, but I thought I could use the very fitting topic of Wings to show this design, which is Laestis' crystal sword! It contains her many winged patron and it can change shape according to her needs, although the actual form it tends to take is the first one. I'm still quite proud of it and I think it's fun to show the few iterations it has gone through~

I was just playing around with some old brushes that I haven't used in a while and then I got a bit carried away. I really like the weird purple sea creature tentacle thing in the middle - I have no idea what it actually is though... yet

I feel like this would actually make a pretty cool poster - what does everyone think?

Made a real life dream visitor! It's very pretty the pictures don't do justice to all the sparkles and the translucency. And I absolutely had to make it glow in the dark naturally. Haven't quite figured out how to visit other's dreams but I'm working on that part.

Hi, in the actors AU do the 'demons' regularly trip over their costumes? Or does Satan like try to trip people up just by running around with his custumes's tail dragging behind him?

I feel like everyone would get teased for their costumes. XD

from a practical/safety standpoint i feel like the tails and wings would be computer effects, but i do really like the idea of the demons having to battle it out with their own prosthetic appendages

i'm imagining a behind-the-scenes video of diavolo in costume, trying to get through a door and failing because of his massive fake wings, then looking into the camera and deadpanning "i don't think the designers have thought this through", and then the camera pans to levi with his tail stuck in a fence, unable to move

i reckon the horns at least would definitely be proper physical prosthetics throughout, though, since they're static and would be less unwieldy to work with. there are many pictures of them sticking marshmallows on each other's horns, or pretending to wrestle with them like goats, or getting them stuck in their own clothes

Bill Burr saying “ladies you’re 0-2 against this guy” referring to Trump is gross and unfunny for a number of reasons but mainly because he’s doing what a lot of men are evidently doing, and choosing to see reproductive freedom as a women’s issue, as opposed to an economic issue, a family issue, a healthcare issue that will impact everyone. I get that he’s trying to make light of a bad situation and he is anti-Trump, not trying to cancel the guy, because who cares, but just… do better?
