sleeps flat on his back, arms by his sides. usually a very light sleeper but at times absolutely nothing will wake him up. you’re free to roll around all over him, strew your legs out over him and he’ll simply stay lying on his back like always. hands by his sides and the only indication of him actually being alive being the rise and fall of his chest

his appetite is absolutely outrageous. you best believe whatever you make is being absolutely devoured, he loves your cooking. sometimes all he needs is some home cooked dinner to put a smile on his face

he will genuinely let you do almost anything to him. you wanna massage his back? sure. do a face mask on him? alright, but no photos. wax a patch of hair on his leg? did it before, never letting you do it again. he has a hard time saying no to you - he’s lost too much people, he needs to make the most of his time with you

Well, I did it

Megatron - I love his tfp design. Probably one of the best iteration of Megs. He is huge, heavy armoured, his face covered with scars… He doesn’t looks like an ordinary military leader who is only capable of giving orders, but like real warrior who can destroy any enemy with his bare hands.

So, in the WOF version, he definitely shares some features with Princess Burn, not only because of his might, but also because of his horns shape and dirty-dark scales (that absorbed blood of his enemies)

Starscream - Boy, I hate him so much 🤣… but in the good way, trust me! In my opinion, when the show's creators make you feel such strong negative emotions towards a villain, it means they've done a great job. Also, I think that his animation in the show was absolutely incredible, because even though he's a 3D model, he still manages to move like a 2D character, which is amazing!

I feel that in my design he still looks more like a skywing, than an icewing (which is kinda logical)

Soundwave - This one was tricky. I couldn't figure out what his mask would look like, so I just made his face a really dark color. I think Soundwave has both gifts of the nightwings, and he’s equally great at telepathy and a future vision. So he doesn't really need equipment to predict enemy movements, which makes him an ideal communicator in the WOF setting. His Laserbeak is part of the armor enchanted by Shockwave, and it might also allow him to open portals (but I'm not sure with this one)

Shockwave - My favourite evil genius. He would definitely have animus magic and mind reading. I think Shockwave is the only one who has advanced the study of magic so far, precisely because he combined it with scientific knowledge and created safer methods of using it, that don't damage the mind. It's like if a Mastermind got animus magic in books.

I also like to think that he didn't heal the damaged part of his face just so that his enemies would fear him more)

Dreadwing - This man deserved better! It's really a shame that he was removed from the show so quickly due to financial problems. It would be great if his arc got a proper conclusion in season 3.

Considering that I didn't want to make him a hybrid, it was difficult to choose a suitable color palette. So let’s just say, that I tried my best😅

I don’t think that he would have any nightwing powers, but honestly it doesn’t even matter - this guy can make a bombs, what else does he need to be cool

Arachnid - Did anyone even doubt that she would be a hivewing? Damn, she even got her own “Othermind” virus. Her design was the easiest to work with - just a little poisonous ass (suspiciously similar to Maleficent).

Just like Starscream, I hate her, but in a good way. She's one of the creepiest characters in the entire series, who’s acting like a fucking heartless monster, especially with Arcee, but even so, there's always was something mesmerizing about her. I just really like strong female villains

Knockout - Wery bright and charismatic guy, definitely one of my fav cons!

I tried to draw him as handsome as possible. Worked a lot on the face shape and coloring, and as for me it turned out pretty nice (finally).

Most decepticons think Knockout is as stupid and lazy as all the other rainwings. And it's not like he completely disagrees with that. Of course he’s not stupid and lazy, but if it’s means less dirty work on the battlefield, well, he’ll continue act like a tipical rainwing

(I also believe that Megatron keeps him as an “art”)

Breakdown - Fun fact: "Operation Breakdown" was the very first thing I saw in this series. And it was an interesting experience for 8 year old me. Maybe that's why I'm so scared of eye gouging scenes in movies now…

I think that he didn't have any siblings initially due to his parents nature, and even after meeting Bulkhead, he felt uncomfortable among the other mudwings. And this is why he later chose the side of the decepticons. And maaaaybe because of one cute rainwing influence)

P.s.

I think that, being mostly nightwings and icewings, the decepticons are much more concerned about purity of their blood and rarely accept half-breeds into their ranks.

During the war, there were many animus dragons among decepticons, which is why they have so many artifacts that allowed teleportation and communication at a distance. But, honestly, I still can't imagine what Nemesis would look like in this AU

You were well acquainted with the Gaang. You'd served as a sort of double agent for them during the war once Zuko had teamed up with them. He knew they'd need some inside information, so he contacted you, knowing full well your ideals did not align with the fire nation.

You're the daughter of the prestigious Admiral Zhou, a ruthless military head who wouldn't hesitate to turn you in if he found out you were leaking information to the enemy.

It was easy to keep them updated. Your father had an ego the size of the moon, always going on and on about his achievements and new findings and whatnot. He was never home for long, leaving you in your mother's care and making it easy to sneak away. You mostly sent messenger Hawks, but once they'd infiltrated the fire nation you met in person.

You mostly met with Zuko, but occasionally, Sokka or Aang would take his place. You didn't mind. It was nice seeing more of the people you were risking your life for.

After the war, once Zuko took over as Fire Lord, he invited you to be a part of his cabinet. You weren't sure why, seeing as how the other members have some sort of military or consulting experience, and you're just a teenager who sent letters.

Strategy meetings were weekly, so you saw Zuko more often than any of the others. They visited when they could, but with the long list of air temple repairs, it was difficult to make time.

Not that you minded. You loved spending time with him, with or without the rest of the entourage.

Zuko was always accommodating to you, even going as far as to offer you a room in the palace 'if you ever need it.' He'd had the room fully furnished and closet stocked with spare outfits.

Occasionally, if meetings ran long, you'd stay in said room. It was a luxury the other members weren't granted, and honestly, it made you feel special.

When all the immediate post-war issues finally calmed down and Zuko had more free time, he always asked you to stick around or come keep him company.

He's the fire lord. He can't easily leave the palace, especially to do regular teenager things like laze around the shops or sneak into theaters, so you were limited to what the palace could offer.

You'd taken to gardening with him, something Zuko found very alluring. You played board games, baked pastries, and anything else you two could come up with.

Before long, you found yourself spending most of your time with him on the property. Occasional sleepovers quickly become several times a week. It wasn't long before you basically lived there, so you bit the bullet and brought the rest of your stuff to the palace.

Within a few months, you shared a kiss near the pond in the garden. Things slowly escalated over the next year or so. That first nervous kiss became the norm. You shared dinners and late night talks, often going so far into the night you'd just crash in his bed.

Before long, your room became obsolete. Your bed was hardly ever touched, your clothes were in his closet, items in his drawers, and toiletries in his restroom.

You'd heard the staff gossip from time to time, which you didn't necessarily mind, but it definitely made you blush. It felt like getting caught despite doing nothing wrong.

For a while, Katara would tease you mercilessly. She didn't know anything, or at least didn't lead you to believe she did. She just liked the idea of everyone finding someone, and you were the only girl Zuko ever talked to.

You went out of your way to cover up the obvious aspects of your relationship when your friends were around. You agreed early on to keep things under wraps, not wanting to harm the groups dynamic if things didn't work out.

But that was almost a year and half ago, and now it felt wrong to say anything. Like you had betrayed their trust somehow. You felt bad for lying to your friends about what was going on, but honestly, neither of you could bring yourself to admit the two of you had been dishonest for so long.

You woke up and patted the bed beside you. It was still warm, but Zuko wasn't there. You got up and picked up a robe off the floor to cover your nightwear. It was unlike him to leave without even waking you, so you'd go see what he was up to.

You exited his quarters and immediately saw the entire Gaang. They just stared at you in shock, having a hard time piecing things together.

"Did you just come out of Zuko's room?" Sokka asked.

"You saw me, didn't you?"

"Are those his clothes?" Katara asked.

You glanced down. They were, in fact, his clothes. You just stared at her, refusing to answer. Of course, Katara would notice they were his specifically and not just standard robes.

Zuko dragged his hand down his face. Of course, this is how they'd find out. Not after a long, thought-out conversation over a planned dinner or outing. They had to see you walk out of his room compromised after an impromptu visit.

They hastled you two for the rest of the day, asking horrifically personal questions and guilt tripping you into answering them. They bothered you for information about your intimate lives and dating preferences.

Late into the night, when the fire and excitement died down, Katara and Toph cornered you about the secrecy. You were huddled up in your room for a girls only sleepover when they decided to attack, giving you no choice but to be completely honest.

"We kept it quiet in case things didn't work out. Then some time passed... and we started feeling guilty about hiding it, and we just never found the right time."

"There didn't have to be a right time. Were your friends, not your subjects."

"I know. There's just a lot of pressure when you're with a friend who also happens to be the Fire Lord."

Luckily, you have amazing friends who understand people make mistakes. They squashed your anxiety about the whole thing, making sure you knew they weren't mad or disappointed.

But that absolutely did not stop them from holding over your heads for the unforeseeable future.

Thinking about Task Force 141 & Reader when they believe someone has betrayed them.

All evidence keeps pointing at different members. The blame keeps getting pushed around and this found family you have been blessed with is starting to fracture.

First, it was Johnny. There was an attack on base near the Captain’s office. A highly lethal explosive was used to infiltrate the building. Investigation found signs of a signature that had only been seen on explosives set by the Scot. He thankfully had been on a 2 week mission with you at the time so his alibi was solid

Then, it was Gaz. A file had been lifted off of the Captain’s computer. The access code used belonged to him. It took a little longer to clear his name than it had for Soap. Thankfully he was able to prove that the code used was a code he had burned years prior. You were able to prove this by looking at the coding embedded in the access code usage from Price’s computer.

The Lieutenant was barely even considered. Someone mentioned that he was absent at the time of the attack and he didn’t need to say a single word to silence those rumors. He leveled one steely glare at the recruit and any talk of him being the traitor happened behind his back. Where was Ghost? He was on a covert operation for Laswell in Ukraine. Definitely above board and not a black operation in any way.

Next, the Captains himself was in the hot seat. He was the only one of the team that would have known Soap’s signature for the bomb and Kyle’s access code, current and previous. He also knew when Ghost would be off base and when you and Soap would be on assignment. Orchestrating the best time to attack.

Finally, the pointing fingers found their way to you. You also would’ve known Soap’s signature. You didn’t know where Ghost was going but you remembered saying goodbye to him before you went to debrief for the mission you and Soap were being sent on. You were also the best at computers and hacking on the team. It took the longest to clear your name, and even while you were put on leave while the investigation was ongoing recruits and other CO’s continued to theorize. Throwing around ideas that it was a team effort and that we were all a cell of terrorists planted in the military.

As accusations continued to rise and your own teammates began to turn on one another you snuck back into Price’s office determined to get to the bottom of this and to save the found family you have grown to love so much.

Turns out the access code used to frame Kyle, could be traced back to a cell tower in Russia. You took your findings to Laswell and the two of you busted down the door of a run down apartment. Inside were three women strung out on lord knows what, and a man passed out with no less than 12 bottles of vodka surrounding him. Viktor Kuzmenko. Number 7 on the CIAs most wanted list. Further investigation and interrogation would later reveal he was behind everything that your team was being blamed for.

You would do anything to protect your family. Even if it means getting your hands a little dirty and doing things in a less than ideal way.

Edward Elric

considering Ed's uhhh very distinct taste in aesthetics, these could be a lot worse. they look relatively comfortable and don't seem like they'd be difficult to move around in. they are platforms though, which I imagine makes things more difficult. I'll be generous and give these a 7/10

Most of the Amestrian military

pretty much everyone in uniform wears the same shoes, so I'm lumping them all together. these are Roy's, if that matters. they look fine. I imagine that because it is part of a military uniform, it's designed to be moved around in and worn for hours on end, so ideally they're relatively comfortable. it doesn't look like there's much traction, but they're usually fighting on flat surfaces so whatever. 8/10

Fu and Lan Fan

these shoes fucking rule. the picture I've included is Lan Fan's, but they wear p much the same shoes. I fucking love these things. they have spikes. Edward Elric fucking wishes. considering this seems to be part of the bodyguard uniform, I'd imagine they're as easy to run around in as the military shoes, if not better since they're expected to be doing martial arts in them. but most importantly, they have spikes. 10/10, no notes.

Ling and Mei

on the topic of doing martial arts, both Ling and Mei wear these.... I'm not sure what they are. flats? slippers? it's unclear. (EDIT: they are apparently Kung Fu shoes!) they seem relatively easy to move around in I guess since they're not very cumbersome and both Ling and Mei rely on being very nimble. they look like they have absolutely no support in the soles though, which is gonna get painful after a certain point. also depending on what fabric they're made of, they could definitely start chafing. I've worn flats. I know that hell. 7/10 for the potential blisters, but at least they're designed specifically for martial arts

Greedling and Bradley

it's hard to get a good shot in this scene because neither of them stop moving, but I swear to god, they're fighting in dress shoes. I cannot stand them. this CANNOT be comfortable. I know Greed prioritizes aesthetics over function so this was probably a compromise between his and Ling's tastes but ohhh my god. he was probably wasting so much of the philosopher's stone just passively healing the million blisters on his feet from running around in these things. there's a chance Bradley is wearing the military uniform shoes but I think he was in more formal dress when he got blown the fuck up, so I don't think so. no wonder he complains about being sore, quit running around in dress shoes you fucking moron. 4/10.

Greed

THESE FUCKING THIIIIIIIINGS. WHY ARE THEY POINTY AT THE END. WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE SOMEONE HIT HIS FOOT WITH A MALLET AND FLATTENED THEM. he's so dumb. I love him. looking at these things tells me he would probably wear goth cowboy boots if he could, and tbh that would probably look better. 3/10 for Greed's overall silly as hell fashion sense

okay. the heels make sense considering her whole vibe. however. these are part of her fucking BODY. when she gets incinerated, they grow back. can she even take them off???? I'm scared to ask. I guess if theyre part of her body, she doesn't have to worry about adjusting to balancing in them like you would normally with heels, but oh my god. she can never wear normal shoes. I would also be murderous if I had to wear heels all the time. 4/10.

Father and Izumi

guys. these are sandals. it has been four hundred years and Father is still wearing the same outfit he was wearing in the damn desert. find a new outfit man. Izumi is apparently wearing bathroom slippers (hence the WC) so idk why she's even wearing those out of the house. Father gets 0/10 and Izumi gets 1/10 because she still manages to kick everyone's asses while wearing these, so respect

What did/do you like about Pharah?

Uh, gameplay-wise, I really love characters in shooters who rely on three-dimensional movement techs. Chaining together hover and jump to stay in the air for as long as possible and keep momentum is so satisfying, and picking enemies off from the sky made me feel like a bird of prey. I was a good Pharah main.

Story-wise, there unfortunately isn't much to canonically go off because Pharah is so underutilized and neglected. Her personality's pretty boilerplate "heroic hero" (she's literally inspired by Captain America).

But it's the crumbs/bits and pieces that I really latched onto. Pharah's a confirmed lesbian; her short story with Baptiste implies she harbors a crush on Mercy (fucking thank you.). She's biracial Egyptian/First Nations. She has major mommy issues, having grown up both admiring and resenting Ana. She's the bridge between Old Overwatch, inspired by the idealized heroes who surrounded her childhood, and New Overwatch. She's one of the only inter-generational characters in the cast; someone whose experiences span the gap, which is why I seriously believe Pharah would make a great main character.

There isn't much to go off of, though; she's a very uncomplicated character (she's a soldier for a private military corporation, lol.). But that just means she's a blank slate character, so I've seen fanfic writers run wild and create some really interesting takes on her. My favorite interpretation of her's a dense, herbo gym-bro type (a lot of her liens are about work outs, exercising, and playing sports) who's easily excitable under her seemingly self-serious, armored visage. We see how she tends to gloat and hype herself up when she's on a streak too, so Pharah definitely has a competitive and boastful side under her more professional and militant performance.

Now Mercy? Mercy is a real complex character.

Generic, silly headcanons:

He prefers coffee (black) over tea, but he does have a bit of a sweet tooth (will never resist caramel if it’s presented to him). Honestly, he’s pretty self-reliant when it comes to food, too. On lazy days, he makes enough to where a takeout bill is hardly a concern, but for the most part he cooks! Not a chef by any means, but nothing he ever makes is bad!

Definitely wants a big, loving family, the polar opposite of what he had growing up as an only child in a far less than perfect household. Not a dealbreaker, but he does yearn for all of the love that he’s missed out on and then some.

Not big on video games, but… I do think he is absolutely spending every lonely leave playing Elder Scrolls. Would be so easy to convince to go larping or to a renfaire. I see everyone’s car/bike guy headcanons and I raise you… obsessed with fantasy König. He loves history and myth!! Why not combine the two and see him in chainmail.

Cheating is never on this guy’s mind when he’s in a relationship. If he’s found a lady not running for the hills the second she catches sight of him, that’s his one and only. Sure, he may find himself attracted to someone else at some point or other during the duration of a relationship, but he’s devoted and disciplined! There’s never the fear of anyone coming in between he and his lover. He’ll spoil you with gifts, clingy to a point it’s overbearing, always giving you the utmost care… but is not opposed to bullying you into being a submissive, trembling mess either. He’s balanced!

Adores animals. Like any of them. There’s a special place in his heart for cats, but having a constant companion that he can take on hikes like a large dog would be ideal. Would definitely consider owning a tarantula or a snake, too. ^^ He isn’t scared of anything, let alone a creature that most are misinformed about… (he projects a little..). He would treat them just as well as anyone would treat a more “normal” pet. Understanding if you wouldn’t want to hold a giant arachnid (they’re delicate and you squirming over it would make him a bit protective over the poor thing. ): ), but it would mean a lot to him if you were more accepting.

König would not be a pretty sight (to most people) the majority of the time… I doubt that he takes care of himself past training his body and his allotted one-two minute military showers. His character description describes what is rumored to be under his mask as scary. Let him have his buzzcut, and scars, and teeth or old wounds a little too fucked up to fix! Unconventionally attractive is still attractive! (i think his ‘face reveal’ is actually so cute…)

Lots of sporadic little thoughts, but… Ambidextrous, can not ride a bike, whistles/hums to fill lapses of silence, flexes his fingers/cracks his knuckles when he’s nervous, definitely snores (loudly), brushes his teeth like 3-4 times a day (when he can) because he eats so much, not a picky eater at all, thinks it’s cute if you’re affectionately a little grossed out by him from time to time, absolutely the kind of person that thinks fuel and fire smell good, fluent in English and German but certainly knows many words and phrases from other languages.

Kind of clumsy. Overthinks the way his body looks to the point where sometimes his movements are a little stiff. Overestimates how tall a door frame may be if he’s distracted in the presence of others, hits his head and plays it off like he didn’t even notice. He’s (obviously) highly confident on the field, but in regular circumstances it’s totally reversed.

Though. Yeah. Sometimes this does translate onto the field. Can’t stay in one place for too long, once knocked an enemy soldier out by barreling into him. He’s a quick shot, skillful with any weapon that falls into his hands, but his focus can get a little skewed.

He collects some things. Nothing exactly pricy, but antique knives, coins, and a pocket watch or two. And he isn’t the most apt at putting things together in an appealing way… The first time you’re allowed into his house it looks like he’s robbed some vintage hunting shop/is planning something nefarious with the way he’s just got a few daggers strewn about his kitchen table. Just push them to the side, it’s fine! (His favorite is certainly one with a handle carved from a stag’s antler.)

Definitely takes a physical approach to bad feelings. @melancholic-thing mentioned to me that he bites himself when he’s feeling dejected or frustrated and yeah. (All of Ghost’s hcs for him are factually correct.) Not going to punch a hole through the wall but may aggressively slam a door or raise his voice before he can catch himself.

I have many thoughts about König’s childhood/early adulthood. Like, too many. But to summarize…

I think that everyone experiences bullying to an extent but what would make it so bad that it managed to make its way into the scraps that we do have of him? What made him so fundamentally unlikable to his peers? /: With my König I’ve settled on it being a blend of neurodivergency and a nightmare home life and alienation from his peers.

Height is predominantly viewed as a good trait. I don’t think it was necessarily his appearance at all that got him picked on so heavily (albeit… I do think that he would have had some scars, crooked teeth, regular facial bruising or cuts from scraps with other children/his father). Perhaps not the most conventionally attractive guy around, but normally viewed as a solid 5/10, just average. The kind of person who you wouldn’t remember from just a face alone.

His personality was always memorable though.

Whilst the other children/teenagers were interested in the regular trends, sports, whatever was shown on the television or heard on the radio at the time, I think he probably would have had a great interest in escapism!!

Comics, books, researching history and geography, etc, anything that could keep him from thinking of where he was/what other people viewed him as. He had a lot of strange things to say: odd facts (like the kind of person to tell you the longest word in the dictionary because he thinks it’s cool, “um actually—“ to correct something, monologuing about some bug you’ve just squashed and how it was not just a pest but very useful in nature, borderline concerning reactions to being shunned (feigned threats of violence that he would laugh off, things he’s probably heard from media and his own parents), over explaining himself for the simplest of misunderstandings, and… quoting his Oma’s very old-fashioned turns of phrase (think of little Kö regularly saying “Du gehst mir tierisch auf den Keks.” when he’s annoyed whereas the others say things far less dated like “Du gehst mir auf den Sack.”)

With him being difficult to relate to and having the most uncanny things slip out of his mouth, others probably did view him as a bit of a freak. He didn’t particularly stand up for himself often either apart from a few fights (and would never hit a girl). He would stay quiet, pretend to focus on his studies or whatever else was before him while the other children jeered and taunted. Regularly a target for fake confessions and offers to hang out outside of school, too.

König did have crushes, did have people he thought were cool and wanted to befriend, but after the third time of showing up someplace that he had to walk to on his own to find that no one had actually wanted to spend their time with him, he gave up.

I don’t think he had a good relationship with his parents or much of anyone. Seriously, leaving for the military at seventeen sets off a ton of alarm bells! He left the week of his Oma’s passing, because what else was there for him — no girlfriend, no prospects, hardly a relationship with his mother or father.

His father was your standard shit parent— womanizing, loud, physically abusive towards König. “Bonding” activities with him always had a heavy lean towards violence: hunting and arguing that usually resulted in fist fighting his own son seemed to be his favorites. A small man with an equally small ego— he probably would have boasted about his affairs to König, exposed him to pornography as a way of making sure his son wasn’t anything other than straight (which: never stopped his curiosity). He would never hold back from telling König that he would never in a million years find a girl willing to put up with his supposed stupidity and shortcomings. Generally just viewed his own son as utterly worthless if not for use as a punching bag.

In turn, König always loathed him, would dread hearing the bastard just walking around the house because he knew he would always find something to bicker with his wife or son over. Nothing that they ever did would be deemed correct, and his social anxiety initially developed from his dealings with him.

His mother was withdrawn, emotionally neglectful. König was just… there to her; another mouth to feed, another person begging for the attention she would have rather spared on herself.

She wasn’t a bad mother and she did try, but the product of dealing with his father’s nonsense + letting her own mental illness go unchecked (as in, his father controlled the family financially and why would he let her blow through their funds to see a therapist and “lose her lucidity with pills and ridiculous talks”). There were some days when she would be feeling more like herself and take König along with her for walks through the park where she would try to ask him about his life, about school, and… he would end up spilling his guts to her only for her to return to silence. Still, those were his favorite days. His fondest memory was picking a flower for her on one of those walks, one that she kept pressed and later framed.

There were never family dinners, no movie nights, no day trips or vacations. The most blissful of days were spent in the comfort of his room where he could keep the door locked and muffle the sounds of his parents arguing with loud music.

So, König did not have much of a safe space within his own home, but he had his Oma and her cluttered little house. She had books and plenty of food, even a cat, too. Though she was like his mother, stern and withdrawn, she would at least sit with him and tell him stories of her own life. She would at least tell him “Ich lieb dich, Käferchen!” in her quiet voice, stroke his head where he would sit with his nose buried in a book beside her. She would show him her dusty antiques, her old photographs, and in turn taught him to be a proper man by making him tend to what needed to be done around her house. And the garden. He loved his Oma’s garden, full of orchids, petunias, and tomatoes she would mash up to make him goulash or tomatensalat!

With Austria’s leading religion being Catholicism, I do think his Oma would have dragged him with her to service plenty, too. Not that he ever particularly enjoyed it… just zoned out with a plastic soldier in his pocket to fidget with or some trading card he spent the money he earned doing chores for her on. He’s never considered himself religious, thought himself to be bound for Hell no matter what, even if most of the time he felt that he was already there.

You take a puppy that’s been beaten down his entire life, but still remains eager and throw him in a barrack with people more horrible than any bully he’s ever had, though…? He starts taking his father’s advice more and more then. He wouldn’t harm anyone that he didn’t view as deserving of it, but it didn’t need to go that far that often, anyway. König is aware of the space he takes up by then, aware that all of his training has made him more broad and sturdy, and those playground fights are nothing compared to what he’s capable of now.

He gets his callsign from a quip about him owning nothing. His barrack is empty, devoid of pictures or any sentimental belongings. He rarely checks his phone, there might be the occasional missed call from a spam number, what is there to even see? He has no social media presence, every leave is spent in a shitty apartment only a days travel from his hometown, and he is utterly silent when the other soldiers invite him out for drinks. So yes, he’s a king. The king of absolutely nothing.

One of these rowdy boys does eventually coax him into talking to a woman. He loses his virginity in a disgusting bar bathroom, where he asks her after the two minutes he’s spent inside of her if it means anything to her at all. She laughs, washes herself in the sink and calms him down, but doesn’t give him her number or anything more than her first name.

He’s starved for love, utterly miserable without it, but doesn’t have much of a desire to seek it out, either. He’s seen how people are, how they treat him. But time and time again he will grapple onto any thread that may lead him to a pinhole of hope when it’s offered to him. For the most part, he has his hand and a perpetually almost-empty bottle of lotion.

And it’s not much of a surprise that König has contemplated suicide more times than he can count. It has never culminated in any way, only fearing that he would disappoint his men, even further disappoint his parents, maybe even a small part of him still believes in a Hell; that maybe with enough vigilantism on his part he’ll earn his way to a pleasant afterlife, one he teeters on the separation of believing in and not.

He doesn’t think about his mental health, always haunted by his father’s words, thinking that assuredly it would make him weak if he were to seek help for something like his own thoughts. So he overexerts himself during workouts, bottles everything other than rage and love inside: no one is going to see him cry, not ever again after being laughed at for him hundreds of times during school where he sat being called an “ugly giant” a “daydreaming freak” and an “idiot” near daily where silent tears did escape, only spurring further laughter.

Though I do not write him with these things in mind for every au, there are always subtle hints scattered about. ^^ I could probably prattle on forever about him, but I will leave you with this for now…

The og Pjo books are predomanently about child abuse and with that,comes a fair amount of themes of grooming.It's not super in there but it does arch across the series quite a bit,quietly,in Luke's serial pedophile status and the gods' martyring of Percy.Luke groomed Silena,Thalia,Kelli and Annabeth romantically and no,that last bit isn't a retcon since as far back as TLT,he does nothing to discourage her crush on him so the implication was always there but he also groomed the Titan's Army as a whole into his child soldiers and the Gods did the same to Percy only on a grander,more idealizing scale.They lied to her,they physically assaulted her,they insulted her,they used her for their own gain and acted like it was for her own good and they stole her childhood.They took advantege of her vulnerability and Luke did the same to a whole military's worth of abused kids and for a bit,he did the same to Percy too.It's hard to glaze over how awfully they were all treated and get the full picture for the story,ironically not unlike how they saw themselves in-universe.This is why i'm anti Luke x Percy and Percy x Gods ships in all contexts,even one-sidedly,because it weakens Pjo as a whole and feels like a cowardly cop-out as i usually see the defenders of 'Luke was Percy's bi awakening' and 'Dark Percy aus' acting as like if they don't frame it as grooming and instead as silly and lighthearted,then it's not grooming

But by irl definition and canon writings,Luke and the gods treatment of Percy is grooming and if turned romantic,falls under the more well-known definition of the former.She's 18 they watched her grow up ever since she was 12 as adults with the youngest having 7 years on her and the incestous abuser of her childhood best friend.There's really no way to frame it as something cute and funny without extreme insensitivity to grooming survivors and putting the new generation of Pjo fans coming in from the show in danger at joining them as it's been proven ships like this are used as tools for it,including in this fandom specifically.We also don't need Percy to like men to be queer,she's got a lot of subtext that borderlines on text indicating she's trans and shipping an autistic trans woman with men who abused her throught her prebucesent years all the way up to her entire teenage years is transmisogynistic for reasons i don't think i need to state and ignoring the many other women who were groomed by the same man you're shipping her with so you can make him look like her 'saviour' is regular misogynistic for equally obvious reasons

Hmmmm I think it depends a little bit on the context and which characters we're talking about.

If we're talking about the TF141, I honestly imagine all of them as actually ideal partners— if we ignore the fact that they have to be away so often and how closed in Simon would be at first.

Johnny is caring and huge on PDA, always doting on you and showing you you're the only one that matters, taking you to new places and showing you around.

Gaz is a sweet man, he enjoys spending time with you and taking you out on dates. He's absolutely down to do skincare with you, seeing it as another way to bond. Whatever his pretty girl wants, she gets.

I can see Price as a more traditional man, allowing you to stay at home and focus on your hobbies and keeping everything in place when he's not home. He's a captain in the SAS— he makes good money, and definitely splurges out on showering you with gifts to show you how much he loves you.

Ghost, once in a relationship, is absolutely a different person. Yeah, he's still kinda quiet and a bit brooding sometimes, but he loves to cuddle up with you and spend his free time with you, even it's just watching movies and talking while holding each other.

I feel like they wouldn't be bothered by the phrase— they want to, and they do it. If there's something else you want from the relationship, they're all open to discussing it and talking about it like adults. Years and years in the military have taught them really good conversational skills, and they're ready for anything to go south.

Keeping in mind Price and Ghost are in their mid to late 30's, they're the ones able to communicate better when it comes to your needs and expectations.

Fun fact about war crimes! Individuals get arrested for them and designated as war criminals, not everyone who is apart of the military. Bibi can be arrested for war crimes. Any individual IDF member who did the war crime can be arrested for war crimes. Whatever the Israeli version of John Smith is, who has never committed a war crime during his service, cannot be arrested for a war crime, and therefore cannot be labeled a terrorist.

But wouldn't Hamas and hezbollah be excempt from being a terrorist group as they're in an armed conflict? They've both committed terrorist acts outside of armed conflicts, ergo, terrorist organizations.

So, now that we have established that the IDF has not committed a terror attack as they're currently in armed conflict with Hezbollah, the rest of what you said falls apart, but to address it.

1. I would be equally as sad if the IDF killed 12 druze children

2. I think that any IDF members who have committed war crimes + bibi should be arrested for war crimes as I've stated so many times

3. If I lived in an ideal world, all hezbollah members would simply be arrested and there would be no loss of life. But we don't live in an ideal world. Hezbollah won't allow themselves to be arrested. Hezbollah also remains an active threat. If IDF members who have committed war crimes + Bibi refuse to be arrested and are still an active threat to people (key word active threat), yeah killing them would be best. Considering the exploding pagers had a mortality rate of 0.3%, and not all of that were civilians, I would expect a mortality rate of less than 0.3% of civilians near the individual war criminal to be killed.

⋆ ˚｡ ghost: march 5th - pisces. i would say pisces or libra but i feel as though he fits pisces well - he's adaptable to new situations where pisces are known for being flexible. pisces are idealistic and strongly guided by moral compass, he seems to be driven by duty and principles even if his actions are seen as morally ambiguous. pisces are intuitive and his high alertness towards split-second decisions add to why i think he'd be a pisces 🐟 ⋆ ˚｡ price: may 11 - taurus. taurus are loyal, stubborn and organised. the bull represents stability, strength and discipline which is what a leader like price possesses. they are very loyal people and price demonstrates this throughout the game with how dedicated he is to his team 🐂 ⋆ ˚｡ gaz: february 13 - aquarius. aquarius' tend to be more on the 'quirky' side which gaz definitely gives off a little lol. they are independent and free-thinking, gaz tends to show autonomy and the ability to think and decide for himself even with the military hierarchy. they also have a desire to make positive changes to the world which i find gaz to be one of the more creative and kinder ones in the game 🌊 ⋆ ˚｡ soap: july 17 - cancer. cancers are moody, irritable and very empathetic. he shows a lot of emotion throughout the game - especially irritation. cancers are often deeply loyal and devoted to their loved ones and causes. soap's loyalty to his team and his commitment to them could be seen as a reflection of being a cancer 🦀 ⋆ ˚｡ alejandro: march 29 - aries (canon?) now, i'm not sure if this is canon or not but i see this as something many people are saying like it's a fact 🤷‍♀️ aries are courageous and bold. he is portrayed as a highly skilled and fearless colonel who isn't afraid to take on dangerous missions like saving rudy from that fire. as colonel, it's important to have leadership skills and good decision making, aries are often assertive and initiative which fits ale well. 🐏 ⋆ ˚｡ rudy: march 14 - pisces. pisces' are known for being calm, quiet and sensitive. rudy is portrayed as a character who is attuned to the emotional states of his teammates and is willing to offer support and comfort when needed, making him a strong empath. most of his interactions throughout the game is gentle and soft spoken. he's also seen as creative, which fits the pisces archetype. 🐟 ⋆ ˚｡ farah: january 25 - aquarius. aquarians are often associated with a strong sense of social justice, humanitarian ideals, and a desire to help others, which practically sums up farah lol. her selfless dedications and rebellious spirit make her a perfect fit for being an aquarius. 💨 ⋆ ˚｡ makarov: april 18 - aries. aries are often characterized by their aggressive ambition, leadership qualities, and a relentless drive to achieve their goals, all of which makarov naturally possesses. 🐏 ⋆ ˚｡ konig: december 23 - capricorn. i see he might be a capricorn due to his disciplined approach, strong sense of responsibility, and strategic mindset. his focus on meticulous planning and achieving long-term goals aligns well with capricorn's traits. 🐐 ⋆ ˚｡ keegan: august 10 - leo. i think he could be considered a leo due to his confident and charismatic leadership style, as well as his strong sense of loyalty and courage. they're known for their boldness, natural authority, and commitment to their team, traits that align well with keegan's.🦁 ⋆ ˚｡ logan: april 2 - aries. even if he doesn't speak, i see him as aries for his courageous and proactive nature. aries' are known for their bravery and willingness to take initiative, traits that logan shows through his bold actions and readiness to face challenges. 🐏

oh shadow dragon elf warrior?? 👀👀 say more, if you would like....

i love roman military history, i’ve been passing the time until veilguard by watching chinese period dramas full of dashing generals as male romantic leads, and the shadow dragon backstory says you were adopted into a military family. all this has been combining into some kind of murky soup in my brain for the past few weeks, and out of that soup we have eventually gotten xarius mercar, the shadow dragon elf warrior who has decided to take up residence in my mind

now i’ve been dead set on dwarf for my rook, but for shadow dragon specifically, i want to play an elf. it would feel strange to me to have two of tevinter’s anti-slavery rebels in the party and neither of them be elven, plus it gives us a city elf to contrast with our dalish companions! it adds some interest to the adoption backstory too; what kind of presumably patriotic military family from the tevinter imperium adopts an elven foundling? which (to me) is even more interesting as a non-mage, because magic might be an easy explanation for why you’d want to add someone to your family. so if you take that away, what’s left? and i do really want to play a warrior, so that works out with that and with the background of being part of a military tradition. i mentioned earlier that i think there are really exciting ways to flavour veilguard’s take on warrior for someone once trained to serve in tevinter magic-centric armies!!

i want to play xarius as a contrast to neve... she has a core of idealism and truly loves her city. he might have been raised to believe in such things, but as an elven non-mage, he’s long since been bitterly disillusioned. (tragic backstory pending, but, well, i mean, being those things in minrathous basically is a tragic backstory.) it’s dependent on if i can actually play my rook that way, of course, but i hope so. i think an elf who’s quite jaded about the current state of the world, and has seen the worst it has to offer for his people, is a fun character to have mirror and interact with solas, in that you’re kind of his exact target audience

otherwise, in terms of what i have in mind for personality, he’s definitely more of a fighter than a talker, not a diplomat at all. which may cause me problems. but he’s fiercely intelligent too, with a keen eye for strategy, so not necessarily someone who just blindly thinks with his fists either. it makes him sharply funny and quick-witted. it can also make him a little cold in his decisions, risking things others couldn’t bring themselves to risk, not giving people a second chance, very capable of thinking about the bigger picture rather than being emotionally swayed by what’s right in front of him. but at the same time, he’s super protective of the people he fights beside, because, hey, what’s even the point of playing a sword and board warrior if not. he takes being comrades-in-arms and the duty you have to each other very seriously. since he’s leading the party, they’re his responsibility. on the battlefield, but also off it he can be surprisingly gentle with them, i think

i think that’s all i have... the mercar backstory is fairly vague and i haven’t seen any in-game content that explains further so i don’t want to settle on anything much else. which means he kind of has to be more of a build-as-i-go, wait and see what the game gives me type character. but that might be the best experience for the first game where i don’t know everything abt the story in advance lmao

I'm not sure what I could say that hasn't been said already but one thing I've been thinking of recently was Javiers position in rdr1

He's considered a 'hitman' for Allende, which is so surprising after seeing rdr2. For a man so proud of the crimes he committed in Mexico to carry around his own bounty poster with full pride to show it in camp, and speak with little empathy on the high power military man he murdered, (unsurprising), then to work for Allende by 1911? It doesn't seem like him.

But!👆👆🤓

In 1907, the newspaper says hes supposedly around in the 'Mountains' of Mexico. Now, my family that live in Mexico are based in one of the most rural mountain areas, which is situated in the north, and quite far from any important cities. So it's most likely Javier too was in the North then, so most probably close to his home area of Nuevo Paraíso. But, its obvious he's hiding, clearly not well enough for it to be reported in the Mexican newspapers by 1907 though. And considering our knowledge that Javier definitely lives to see 1911 as a notoriously famous man of Allende, I believe the government definitely found him before the other way, but instead of killing and trialing him, he was put to do the dirty work of Allende for survival.

But once again, whilst Javier is shown to be able to throw away his own ideals and principals to survive, I think to contribute to the corrupt government, and help Allende kill people like the ones he nearly died to protect, seems too unlikely. John describes him as a 'cynic who was desperate to appear as a romantic' (paraphrasing lol), and saying he had a 'lot of passion, but no love'. So I dont think he would pick survival over life with Allende, desperate to fulfill the idea of himself he wants to be more than anything.

So why does he ?

Well I thought about that for a while, and remembered what he said in rdr2. Javiers family were labourers for Allende's uncle. Whilst he Father was spoken as but a borracho, and probably dead by 1907, like his Mother is, he still has a sister, brother-in-law and perhaps much more family (trust I know how big Roman Catholic Mexican families get) that he cared for. Obviously Allende has a massive power advantage over them, and wouldn't feel too prideful to not use them as a leverage for Javier to do this dirty work.

So I believe he became their Lackey for his family, granting not only himself but his family protection by the biggest sacrifice he could give.

The parallel of his situation to John is so tragic though to think about if you apply this theory, that when leaving the gang they both fall into being the governments little puppies forced into a pit to kill one another. The situation that some of the biggest fighters for freedom, a life without the control of the government, ended up being the biggest puppets of the government. As John says "you just work for a different government", showing their situation as the same, no matter what route you took with Dutch or Arthur, or how you tried to better yourself.

Another point of Rdr1 Javier I was thinking of was the lines he says that stood out to me.

When injured, he shouts "Finish me coward!". This stood out to me a lot, as I think it highlights their relationship a lot by rdr1. (I'm not gonna write about this as a ship comment btw just about the canon as we know)

Javier is the only gang member we can choose to let "live", (although it doesnt really mean anything at the end), and the only one John will appear empathy for as he wipes away a tear after spitting on him. (a strong showcase of his conflicting thoughts and how he wants to hate Javier, and tries to push down and 'wipe away' any other weaker-percieved emotions over the man he knows is in the past.) Javier and John still seem to have feelings of perhaps "brotherhood" or friendship by 1911, of course mixed with hate and brewing of resentment over the years. The word "coward" I think shows that Javier thinks John won't kill him because of that left over friendship, trying to instigate him into letting the anger take over and override that 'unmanly' emotion.

But it also shows Javier's lack of will. Normally in rdr2, we see how Javier's character will still fight to survive even when the odds are 99:1, and try to live without ever giving in and losing hope. But by rdr1, whilst it's still prevalent, its clearly not nearly as strong. The second Javier is injured, he gives up, and accepts he won't make it out. With that mentality in rdr2 as a starved child who'd just immigrated to the USA, he wouldve died instantly. But it seems Javier doesn't want to die, at all, with all the begging lines, but just doesn't think it will do anything. He begs John in an act of losing all pride, simply saying just "please let me go, John", and "Please, don't let me die like this." (THAT BREAKS MY HEART BTW). He fights with his words when he can, but when hes shot and injured and his real words cone out, they are a lot more vulnerable, and suggest a strong lack of will he has left. (Another line he says is just "Tell...tell your wife it's the Lord I praise."

Going back to the point of his relationship with John by then too, something else that stuck out to me was some lines to John. As we hear previously to Bonnie, John had a daughter who died, perhaps at around a toddler age.

Javier knows this, too. He shouts "I hope you and your wife and children rot in hell!", with children plural. Another thing is when he says John should "Go back to your farm!", showing Escuela definitely knows about John's life after 1907. How exactly? Who's sure. But, I partly believe he only could've found out if he'd actively tried to find out, maybe by methods of outsourcing some of Allende's men to check under the guise of saying they are suspecting of assisting the rebels escape to the USA or something. Or, considering how he still remains in contact with Bill enough to smuggle him out the country, could've asked Bill. Either way, it shows that the gang is still a moment Javier won't let go, which could be because of the lack of pride he would have of working for the man he does now. The last moment of pride Javier would have wouldve been in 1899, before the ever described 'vain' man abandoned all pride to hide out in a mountain far from all people.

A final point I think would be that I believe Javier lost himself during the times of rdr1, and actively tries to forget his morals subconsciously. The amount of guilt he would have, including the Catholic guilt, national guilt, and guilt for his family, is too much for one man to handle. Luisa, and many other like the prostitute in Las Hermamas(?) Speak of Escuela in a strong disgust, with the lady saying she wouldnt even "spit on him if he was on fire". So we know Javier is so unliked by the revolutionists, and general public too. Luisa says bad people spoke of him, and I believe from those lines that Javier would've tried to suck out all his empathy to try and lift that sack of weights on his shoulders and mind with guilt, by forcing himself to not care. And by doing that lost himself in his bad deeds and became his own worst enemy. The previously repetitively stated man as vain and obsessed with vanity in 1899 changes to wear a scruffy hair style with dirty, cheap and boring clothes. I see this as proof that he doesnt hold himself to standards he used to, nor like himself and believe he deserved such as he does now.
