I haven’t ever necessarily wanted to write a crossover fic before, but between Julian, Lucio, and Astarion, the temptation is mighty. What would going to a tavern with them be like??? Or shopping??? Or a heist??? The absolute chaos that would ensue would be mind boggling. The fucking drama that would occur if the three of them were in a campaign together.

is this a safe space to admit i really don't even like the lines in lucanis' first romance scene where he says something like "perfectly gathered clouds of doom" . but that does not stop me from loving him very much. i'm choosing to see this as a guy who is the terrible combo of reads romance novels, has never had a romantic relationship before AND his definition of 'good flirt' is synonymous with 'illario' so he's got an incorrect definition of what's actually romantic. the less lucanis is specifically trying to be romantic the more he becomes irresistible but i don't think he's caught onto that yet

LIKE. it makes sense to me that this is him trying extremely hard to make his attraction known before he overthinks it and leaves#as always i find a way to sneak illario into this conversation but the point stands#like the romance line is not corny if theres a reason that he's being so wildly corny. i have to believe this#i am also saying irresistible > romantic because he has some crazy lines in the romance#thats not romantic. but its genuinely like oh god here comes the yearner he's going to yearn all over the place#the discussion after the first part of act 3 for example.#'i thought i was never going to see you again' 'you're here. you're really here. i swear'#<- that is not lucanis flirting. that is lucanis being so unbelievably earnest with those stupid brown eyes that it just gets you#and the 'i've got you don't i?' 'you do' in act 3 too#<- and i dont even think this one is romance specific#theres a point to this .i just dont think he's naturally romantic#buuut. some of the more 'innocuous' lines that are part of his romance that are not overt flirting have such incredible acting/animation#which allows me to expand the mind palace. and he digs himself a little deeper into my heart#lucanis dellamorte#veilguard spoilers#dav#txt#'ur walking a bit too close to the edge 😈' and tyche's first thought in her mind is VIRGIN? but she likes him for him so its fine

#tbd.#I'm not going anywhere with this; I simply feel slightly bad for not accomplishing anything here this weekend#in my defense though: it's because I have a deadline for a zine contribution looming over me; so like. you know. priorities#anyway: I'm not saying he WANTS Cell or that there's attraction at play in the usual sense; let's not be reductive about it#what I AM saying though is that he has complicated feelings about the thought of being overpowered/claimed/possessed/treasured monstrously#by something SO wildly inhuman; SO wildly beyond his ability to fight or resist; that his inevitable submission to it can't be reproached#(after all: if the choice is effectively TAKEN from him then there's a certain freedom in that. a certain absolution)#and as it turns out: the one thing that he has in his arsenal to help him make some kind of sense out of this brain soup#is the experience of being hunted down/toyed with/beaten into submission/ultimately absorbed and fundamentally unmade by Cell#so: is it REALLY shocking that his periodic amorphous/difficult-to-grapple-with fascination re: letting himself be Possessed and Overcome#sometimes takes a form like Cell's in his private thoughts?#the answer is 'not really; no'

#ehhh i’ll probably regret using tumblr like a diary later#but sometimes i want to share a little story from my little life#went to a röyksopp concert in Amsterdam last night#and my two friends and me ended up in the middle of what was very obviously#a polycule and/or a group of queer friends#consisting of 7 dilfs and one (1) woman (squad goals tbh)#and seeing them dance and have a good time with each other was so lovely#like good for u gents we love to see older queer people thriving#also one of them was extremely attractive to me (RIP) and i really tried my best not to stare at him#because being a creep isn’t cool#but in my defence he looked like a tall and muscular izzy hands#complete with grey beard and slicked back grey hair and earring and tattooed arms#and like one hour into the show my friend leaned in and said#did you notice that man kind of looks like izzy#and i was like yes darling i have actually been wildly aware of this fact for the past hour or so#and the show was SO good and röyksopp themselves were clearly having a blast too#bc they went “oh im sure we could do one more? would you like one more? shall we just keep this going?”#they ended up playing for THREE hours#my knees are wrecked from dancing ahahah#do you know that feeling that you get sometimes when you’re totally in the moment#and everything is actually perfect#and you are also able to appreciate the fact that this is a moment of perfect happiness#they usually only last about 30 seconds maybe but they’re so good?!!#just felt so lucky to be sharing a beautiful night with the beautiful people of this world <3

so i've already doled out pet names to a few hq characters, tobio's "my son <3", akaashi's "my darling," yachi's "my girl <3"...
originally tsukki didn't get a pet name (well, you could say originally he already had a pet name but i'm 23 now and i don't want to call a 15yro boy the same pet name i called him when i was 13/14 nope nope), mostly cause he's already tsukki, that's not a pet name but it is a nickname. but now i feel like just "tsukki" isn't affectionate enough, and even "tsukki <3" doesn't quite feel right... maybe "my dino nerd <3"?? with the "<3" the "<3" is very important... that feels a bit reductive...
this is a serious dilemma.
#for those curious i unironically and frequently referred to him as “my husband” for year#bc yeah i've always had a hard time disentangling identification and attraction#calling him that now would both be wildly inappropriate - he's a babyyyyy - and also inaccurate like that's not my husband that's ME so#i think he was the second character i called that... the first was kurapika from hxh and you know what i'd still call him that today#like if i got back into hxh#love kurapika <3#and i am not really that much like him#if anything i am more like leorio#and the fact that i can admit that is truly proof of character development#how are leorio and tsukki similar...?#well don't think tooo hard about it kk thx bb <3#anyways i will think about this and report back#maybe strawberry boy? but that's also reductive#sweetheart is what i have other characters call him in fics#i could do that but THAT feels like crossing a line#that's for kuroo not for me#ah well anyways#tsukki <3#tsukishima kei#haikyuu
