The Charmingman backstory made me unreasonably sad, I legit hope poor Mauka is okay and can be reunited with his brother 💔

There's definitely a reoccurring theme of police negligence and possible discrimination (I feel like maybe Charmingman and Mauka are Native Hawaiians but I'm not confident) which I'm cautiously interested in as well

I am also salivating at the potential parallels with the Joestar brothers too and of Charmingman bonding with Jodio like a little brother 🥺 also please bring back Wild Cat Size please I need more ally animal stand users

I'm stuck between

1. Charmingman can't pet his cats

2. His cats are his cats because they're the only cats he can pet because their stands cancel out his

3. He actually has way more cats than these 3 and he can pet all of them because his stand's contact damage is another misantropy allegory and only appears when meeting other people

THE CATS LIVE!!!!! And Sand Guy seems to be a set up as a new protagonist, no less… I always found it sus that despite all that talk of him being totally ruthless, he was nevertheless a clear amateur when it actually came to killing! So with the revelation that the decapitated Wild Cat Size was just an illusion, I’m feeling pretty vindicated! I’ve always wanted to see an illusion stand in Jojo’s, and Araki pulled it off while still giving it a fitting Jojo twist, and making it a mainstay no less.

I think I've talked about Fernando's before on here but. I really miss when he had the black fireproofs bcs it just made hom feel so much more intimidating/larger-than-life to me. The way he prowled around the paddock, just very big cat to me! Though I once told my mom this and she said, "more like a bobcat, he's so small." 😭

Seb is a fennec fox because...idk why it just suits him. He is both kitty and puppy, so I think foxes in general suit him bcs they're described as, "just cat software running on dog hardware." And fennec foxes are blondies too! The way they make little laughing noises, and also the way their ears/tails are way too big for their body also remind me of him.

Jense has always and will always be a wolf to me bcs his wolfish smile. He's just got that big, bad wolf vibe. He wants to snap you up! On the whole dog-cat scale, to me he just feels like neither really suits him. Wolves are so noble to me!!

Mark is dog boy, what else needs to be said!? Though there is something to be said about how the rest of them are wdcs and are wild animals, and he's.... domesticated. Something something wild animals seen as more noble and impressive- He really is just whatever dog breed he has irl, they are his comrades.

it's kinda weird that domesticated dogs have like, about the same variation in size as wild dogs, wolves to fennec foxes. probably even wider size range, since small domesticated dogs can be significantly smaller than small species of wild dogs. but domesticated cats kind of come in one size category and wild cats range from. small domesticated cat size to significantly bigger than wolf size. where are my hundred pound domesticated cat breeds.

maybe it's bc i'm still sick but for whatever reason i've decided to read what's out of jojolands and then go back to the start of part five and reread everything from there bc i never got around to finishing part seven and i don't think i ever even touched part eight. so. yeah i'm a bit behind.

I genuinely do not know if me or my cat is the one playing with the feather toy at this point

She likes the stick more than the feather, and sometimes she'll just kind of??? Hold the stick???

Anyway today i was playing feather toy with her (as all good cat dads do) and she just? Grabbed the stick once we were done, and proceeded to shake it so that the feather moved? She did this until i grabbed it and repeated the action three times before throwing the stick at the ground. (Depicted below)

If she ever does this again i will be taking a video of it but like????

What is this??? Am I the cat? Am I a fool trained to catch a little feather for her? Confused and scared.
