Back in late 2019 i had never even heard of twitch, I was on minecraft youtube watching hermitcraft, i had just recently found this funny video series on youtube by Wilbur Soot where he challenged his viewers live. Back then I thought Technoblade was just another reoccurring viewer of Wil’s! Thats so absurd to think back on!

Early 2020 I watched tommys vids in youtube where he ran around being purposefully annoying twoard the dteam, speedrunning challange, yt vids became yt vods, and he would mention checking out twitch, so would wilbur. By July of 2020 I was following wilbur on twitch, by September I had followed tommy, October I had followed tubbo.

Soon enough I was following a whole new chain of creators on a new platform, invested in their story. I hadn’t yet really registered that their timezines matter much since i was accustomed ti watching vods. I *STILL* regret having missed the pog2020 vs swag2020 election because of this! I still regret that!! God!

November 16th came and went, I was enamored with all the art that came out because of it, then Wolf the witch, then known as “channel without a name” had uploaded their animation of the 16th in the 20th. I was there, in that live chat, and after the premiere, I had made friends. I didnt think that would last, but here i am, almost two years later, and most of the “premier gang” members are still active we still talk regularly.

We watched origins together and fell in love with the vod, learned how to install mods and use fabrics launcher! I installed minecraft java edition fir the first time ever because of this, we played minecraft together, we branched out and screenshared to eachother when one would play any other game.

We had a channel specifically for when some damned streamer would go live to scream about it and summarize the premise to each other if we had missed it. By the time Tales Of the SMP rolled around we would all sit in vc together and watch as someone screen shared.

We’ve had three “seasons” of our origins smp, with shops snd community houses. I remember building water tunnels for our resident merling, and my friend would make awnings for me since i was an enderian and couldnt leave the house when it rained. We pulled pranks on eachother, my whole wheat farm was replaced with carrots, me replaced a friends house with jack-o-lanters and acacia wood!

I found other common interests with friends, we found we coult talk about other things other than minecraft incredibly easily, we made comics together, played new games together, suggested music together, celebrated together, we grieved the death of a fucking music bot together! I still miss groovy, we had so many late night ham sessions with groovy.

We still talk about c!tommy, c!tubbo, a friend makes animations about the eggpire and recently got new egg lore. It feels good after havjng seen and heard them hold on to it for so long, and thats what we’ve all done. Holding on, i guess.

I really have had so much fun, playing with my art style along these two years, creating little ficlets for my friends about characters i adore, going insane about new animations from the community. Ive had a personal au about clingyduo for well over a year now, maybe even two years? No idea, but god its been so fun, fullfilling even.

My vocabulary has deffo been changed, example A is right there, “deffo” was ages ago and hasn’t left me since. I dint think dsmp is going to leave me even if i stop interacting with it (which i don’t think I will just yet)

I love all the results I’ve personally gained from being a part of this.

Thank you so much to the streamers, the artists, the musicians, *some* of the clips channels, everyone who wrote character analysis, wrote fics, or just screamed in twitch chat or posted in the youtube comment section or live tweeted/ live blogged any moment they loved.

“You alright, mate?” a voice that is decidedly not Tubbo or Ranboo asks with concern. “That looked like it hurt.”

Tommy blinks blearily up into the face of an angel (with wings, actual, feathery wings) as he struggles to his feet. “I don’t recommend it,” he says with a pained groan. Everything hurts from his head to his toes. His nerves feel as though someone has set them on fire, and his stomach still rolls like he’s on the ocean.

His foggy vision clears, and it takes him a second to realize who he’s actually talking to.

Philza.

Philza Minecraft.

Captain Philza Minecraft, the Angel of Death.

He promptly pukes again - all over the Angel of Death’s shoes - and blacks out.

Or, an encounter with a time travel portal thingie during a standard Starlet procedure sends Tommy and Wilbur back in time to the days of the Antarctic I. He can leave, he knows this. The connection to the Hub is still there. His respawn star for this world may have broken, but his Hub star is still there, he can still leave.

If he were to leave, his hands would no longer be grey, his mind would no longer fuzz along the edges, his lungs would take in breath once more.

But if he were to leave, Schlatt knows that he would never come back.

Anger burns and simmers in the back of his throat, when he watches his funeral. Anger and grief and pain.

If he left, there would be no more whispers in his ears, no more memories of those thrice damned voices echoing around his office. If he were to leave, he would be free.

But here there is yellow, and it is nowhere else. And so, he stays.

“What do you remember?” The question is becoming a constant. Wilbur stares at him with his nothing-eyes and shakes.

He pretends to breath, because sometimes Wiblur even forgets he can’t anymore, and his fingers clutch at Schlatt’s blue sweater with aching force and Schlatt has to smother down the urge to yank away from black claws. Wilbur sometimes forgets his own strength, too. Schlatt still cringes at the memory of when he’d learned that even if they were dead, they could still hurt each other.

“Water,” Wilbur finally answers him, still shaking, still clutching at him. “Rising water. A flood. Rain. It was always raining.”

Claws carve through fabric, fade away into mist, reform, both perfectly untouched. Wilbur’s pretend breaths hitch.

“Leaving.” 

Twisting, yanking apart blue threads over and over again.

“Being alone.”

His fake breaths quicken.

“Drowning.”

Schlatt should leave.

Wilbur is a stick of TNT with two fuses, lit from both ends.

Schlatt has always known this, from the moment he met black eyes all those years ago, from the moment he’d seen bloody knuckles and bruised cheeks and had decided that him, that one right there, he will be my friend, he has been able to see the ticking time bomb that is WilburSoot. He could see the way he caved in on himself overtime, a supernova, a star collapsing, and he was able to see the moment it expanded, the moment it swallowed everything whole.

He’s always known his friend was volatile.

Schlatt has always seen the way Wilbur has crumbled down, over and over and over, every single time there was a new fight or argument or simply another time that he was forgotten.

But he’d never thought that he would contribute.

They’d gotten into their fair share of fights, of course(cursed, broken, unwanted, rings in his ears, his own voice filled with a venom he’s forever torn between agreeing to, and recoiling away from), but Schlatt had never thought…

But that was before. Before Dream. Before the threats. Before hearing about the man Wilbur had grown up to be.

He’d hated him, then, when he’d first stepped into the server.

Holding the shaking, cold- oh so very cold, why is it so c ol d Schlatt?- ghost in his arms, he can’t find it in himself to feel that same hate anymore.

Maybe Dream was wrong. Maybe Dream had lied.

.

There is a space, a blank, in his memory. He knows this. He sees this. Wilbur went up in flames, following in his footsteps(a van, a drink, too many enemies to think and two men settle miserable and pathetic between this all, armorless and powerless for all that they have forever held the world between their claw-tipped hands) and he cannot pinpoint the moment it happened. He cannot remember that one, single point when those fuses that had been steadily burning his entire life suddenly roared up from candle lights to wildfires.

Maybe it was the moment of the man’s exile, the words forever settled so solidly on Schlatt’s tongue like the poison he’s long drank. Maybe it was later than that, when his son loosed shot after shot until some finally met their mark.

Or maybe even further, hiding among the dark and dangerous and being so at home. A clawed monster fitting itself amongst the shadows and watching Schlatt’s every move with cruel, black eyes.

But then again, maybe it was before that.

Maybe it was at their first argument(his hands ache and his claws itched, screams long cut off filling his ears, Wilbur would always respawn, what was the harm in giving in to his anger?) or maybe it was their last(there’s the burn, forever leaving his arm aching and Wilbur had said that he would never raise a hand to him, he fucking li e d ).

Maybe it was when Wilbur had stumbled into his server, into his home, with a child in his arms and had begged for help. Maybe it was when Schlatt had given this help, but had never asked what happened or why or maybe you should rest.

Maybe he could’ve stopped this.

The voices hiss and crackle in his ears, the gods demand he pay them in blood. He is helpless to fall under, drowning in liquid gold and honey.

“I was worse than you, I think,” the words hang in the air. They are in Wilbur’s little carved out home, buried blocks and blocks bellow L’manberg- New L’manberg- where no one will search for them and no one will hear them.

There are only rats and water down here, and they fit right in.

Schlatt, stares emptily at the books in his hands. He does not answer Wilbur.

“I got what was coming for me. I hope I accepted it well enough, in their eyes.”

They didn’t even give him a gravestone.

For some reason, this makes Schlatt ache.

(they gave him a funeral, and a wanted man had to bury his brother alone.)

“Your’re lying,” the words burn a line of fire up his throat. Wilbur still looks shaken from Fundy’s visit, body fuzzing along the edges worse than normal. “You’re- you fucking lied to him.”

Schlatt doesn’t know why he was surprised. Maybe he just expected better from the man, maybe he’d just expected death and hell and that horrible void to have taught Wilbur better.

You would think that having your own father kill you would teach you a fucking lesson, somewhere along the lines.

Apparently not.

“It’s better like this. Like- it’s better if they don’t know- it’s-” Wilbur’s hands curl up, claws sliding through ghostly skin as easily as tissue paper only to leave no damage behind.

“It’s better if they don’t know so- so they- they won’t be afraid of me.”

The words hand like ash in the air.

Schlatt closes his eyes. He wants to bite back the anger, wants to reel himself in, because he knows that Wilbur is fragile, right now, his memories there but weakly, the man barely grasping onto them.

But it’s lava under his skin, magma flowing up his throat, and his hands shake even though he’s dead and there should be no shaking and his breath hisses through his teeth and he’s so fucking angry.

“You’re a fucking coward,” he spits, lips curling. Wilbur flinches away from him, a line of static fuzzing along his chest, bisecting him in two, before settling. “You’re a fucking coward, hiding away from your family because you’d fucked up and you’re too afraid to admit it, too afraid to deal with the consequences of your actions. You always run away! You always do this, and I’m fucking sick of it!”

His chest heaves, but he’s dead and it’s more a long standing habit following him into death and he stares at Wilbur, stares into the ghost’s wide nothing-eyes and he hates him so fucking much.

He spins around, storming out of the tiny little room filled with water and rats and things no one wants.

When he looks into the water of the sewers, into the faint reflections he still casts, he almost expects his eyes to be red.

But they’re yellow, yellow and and cross pupiled and he bares his teeth and burns.

The lava haunts his memories.

That’s where it starts, Schlatt decides, the knowledge curling bitter on his tongue, trapping him. Waters Rising had mostly been a bit, a joke between two friends as the world threatened to tear them apart.

It’s Lava Falling that everything began collapsing, when Schlatt’s hands gripped Wilbur’s wrists before twisting him around and shoving him.

Right over the platform.

Right in the lava.

(the screams and squeals echo in his ears, shaking hands and red eyes staring into the piglin’s deep brown ones below.

Wilbur lasts ten seconds before allowing his respawn star to crack, letting go of his life in this world. Schlatt counts every single one.)

His hands clench. Lava Falling had been when he’s first given in. When he’s first listened to the voices and did as they asked.

(this is a lie, of course, because he’d painted the ground in Wilbur’s blood dozens of times in that first world, when they were ten. He’d taken that flimsy little sword he’d made and he’d fallen into the whispers’ loving embrace and had done everything they’d asked.

A joke, he’d told Wilbur later, after his dog had torn out the other boy’s throat and he’d respawned again. It was all a joke, don’t you see? No need to be upset.

Wilbur had shook, curled up in the corner. He’d sniffed, but agreed.

They didn’t talk about it, after that.)

He comes back hours later. Wilbur is nowhere in sight and the air tastes bitter even though Schlatt can’t taste anything at all, and so he sits, and he waits.

When Wilbur finally reforms, fuzzy and shaking and his grey skin looking blue, neither says anything.

Schlatt contemplates apologizing, for all of two seconds.

He agrees with what he said. Maybe in a better state of mind he would’ve been softer, but Wilbur…

Wilbur was dead. There was no soft for the dead.

FebuWhump Day 12: Spiked Drinks

DSMP Superhero AU

Summary: An usual delivery came earlier that day with four new sample syrups for the Holidays. When L’Manburg’s top four Superheroes decide to dine at the Café and a “Customer” orders the drinks for the Superheroes. Tommy at first was confused. Four Heroes and the “Customer” order them the new sample syrups that just arrived today? Tommy shrugged, it wasn’t his money after all plus they gave a good tip! Hopefully the Heroes like the drinks!

(Bad’s Café)

Normally Tommy wouldn’t be taking the deliveries, considering deliveries were usually on Thursdays and not on Saturdays. But normally Tommy wouldn’t be working this early taking a double shift when Connor called out and Foolish wasn’t available to come in. Which was why a very grumpy and groggy Tommy Innit came trooping into the Café, complaining about it being too early but he really didn’t mind the extra shifts. He’d been asking Bad for more hours for a while now.

Though when Tommy opened the backdoor to the back alley to receive the delivery. Tommy was a little confused. One, at how small the delivery was, only a few crates, one of the crates was the Holiday Syrups for the Holiday Coffees and Hot Chocolates. The other thing that confused Tommy was the delivery driver. Brown hair, dark eyes, and what looked to be a purple shirt underneath the uniform. Tommy shrugged, must be a new guy. Michael was what his name tag said.

After Tommy put the delivery away (it only took about an hour) he made his way to the front of the Café to get ready for his double shift. Wondering what else to expect? Tommy should know better than to challenge the Multiverse Minecraft Gods here in Egopocalypse! Because they seem to have no problem in taking the unspoken challenge that Tommy unknowingly gave.

Standing in front of Tommy (and Tommy will deny it to the day that he died that he had to pick his jaw up off the floor) was none other than L’Manburg’s Number Eleven Hero Spyder, better known as Arachnid. And his equally well known sister, one of L’Manburg’s most infamous Vigilante’s Martha better known as Motha. Unlike the other Heroes, Vigilantes and Villains that have a secret identity, both Spyder and Martha are hybrids and their features are next to impossible for them to hide.

With Martha, the anatas sticking out of the front of her head, the moth-like eyes, and the giant moth wings on her back. And with Spyder, he has literally, four red glowing eyes, fangs, four arms and then when he gets into his “Hybrid Mode” as he calls it. Four black Spider Legs come out of his back, and on two of his four “human” arms, spider-like claws that can shoot webs, come out on top of his wrists. So, everyone in L’Manburg, knows what they look like and what their “Civilian” names are. The only thing is, if the two have their famous masks on, then that was the code that they were on duty and to not approach them. If the two don't have their masks on then they are to be treated like Civilians since they are off duty.

Which was why Tommy was so confused and very shocked to see them here, at Bad’s Café, in Eastside. Normally, the Heroes of the L’Manburg stay in the Hero District (where they patrol so often) West End (Rich and Famous people of L’Manburg) or South Bay (the Higher Middle Class, and the Noble Class). What the hell were they doing here?

“Oh, my sister patrols here in Eastside and said that you guys have pretty good coffee and extremely good muffins!” Spyder said. Okay, so apparently Tommy must have said that last part out loud. “Um, what are some good drinks that you might recommend?”

“Oh we just got our Holiday Delivery in, so all the Holiday Drinks are now available,” Tommy answered remembering the delivery from earlier.

“Oh cool, can I get a Pumpkin Spice Latte and what do you want sis?”

“I’ll have the Peppermint Mocha Latte, please!”

“Okay,” Tommy said. He then put in the order, and said what the total was and gave Spyder the change. Then he went to make the drinks. “Name for the drinks?”

“Spyder.” Spyder then put in about a thirty percent tip in the tip jar. Tommy was a little surprised by that.

Tommy quickly made the drinks and put them on the “Pick Up” Counter and when the next set of customers came in. Tommy again had to pick his jaw up from the floor. There, standing in front of him were the top four Superheroes of L’Manburg, Dream, Blaze, 404, and TimeKeeper.

“Blaze!” A voice called from behind the counter. Tommy turned around and was a little shocked that it came from his boss, Bad. Blaze just looked like he got caught in public by one of his parents. “And Dream! And 404! And I’m guessing your TimeKeeper, right? Blaze has told me so much about you!”

Tommy didn’t know if he was going to have whiplash from going back and forth from the Dream Team and TimeKeeper and Bad or from all the shock that he’s been experiencing so far? From Spyder and Martha, to now apparently Bad (Tommy’s boss) knows the top four Superheroes of L’Manburg? What the fuck?!

“How are you guys? How have you’ve been?”

Apparently this was all that it took for other the three of the group to start messing with Blaze.

“Blaze?” 404 and TimeKeeper, looked shocked at Blaze.

“Blaze,” Dream sounded like Blaze just committed a crime. “You haven’t been telling your own father how you’re doing?!”

“Wait! Hold up!” Tommy said, looking back and forth between the group and his boss. “Are you telling me, that you Bad, my boss, is Blaze’s father?!”

Bad chuckled a bit. “Well not biologically, but yes! Blaze is my and Skeppy’s adopted son!” Bad smiled proudly at Blaze. “Speaking of which, when are you bringing your partner over for dinner? Skeppy and I would like to meet him!”

“Dad!” Blaze whined.

“Don’t you Dad me and don’t even think about using the ‘There’s a Hero Emergency’ excuse either! I don’t care if the Blade is fighting on the roof! You’re not getting out of family dinner, young man!”

(A couple of hours later)

A woman came into the Café and ordered her drink and then handed Tommy the money and a note. Tommy put the note to the side for the time being and went through the usual routine and gave the customer her change. Then Tommy picked up the note that he set aside a moment ago.

Please make these drinks for the Heroes? I’m a huge fan!

There was no signature, just a large bill to pay for more than the drinks themself! Tommy at first was confused. Four Heroes and the “Customer” just ordered them the new sample syrups that just arrived today? Tommy shrugged, it wasn’t his money after all plus they gave a really good tip! Hopefully the Heroes like the drinks!

“Here you guys go!” Tommy said, handing out the drinks to the Heroes at their table that the nice Customer ordered for them.

“But we didn’t order any drinks!” TimeKeeper said.

“Oh, that’s okay. A fan of yours ordered them for ya.”

“Thanks!” 404 said, taking his drink and then taking a huge sip. Huh, very sweet, and berry flavor! When 404 finished his drink that’s when he realized too little too late that something was wrong. He was feeling very dizzy, and the room was beginning to spin.

“Wait, somethings wrong! Tommy! What was in the drinks?!” 404 tried to make his way over to the counter but stumbled and then the next thing 404 knew he fell backwards on the floor.

“404!” Dream was at his side, trying to wake 404. TimeKeeper was on the phone with someone, describing what had just happened to 404.

“Hey!” Blaze saw a “Customer” quickly darting out of the Cafe and ran after her!

Blaze chased after her down the alley to have her change right in front of his eyes. It was like a mirage effect happening in front of him. The woman quickly changed to a male, medium build, purple shirt, brown hair, and black pants. The “Customer” quickly darted to the right into another alleyway and Blaze was right after him. But when Blaze got there, the “Customer” was nowhere in sight. Blaze cautiously stepped into the new alleyway, summoning his fire power, but nothing happened. He tried again and nothing happened. He tried again, and nothing happened.

“Heheheheh! So, you really are nothing without your ‘Fire Power’ huh Blaze?” The “Customer” said.

Now that Blaze had a good look at him, he knew who it was. Mimic! Mimic was a Vigilante for hire, and had powers that he could shapeshift and mimic anyone’s powers and voice for a limited time.

“What did you do?!” Blaze demanded.

“Hey! I just did what I was hired to do! He wants to cause Chaos for the sake of Chaos! Then I’m going to deliver!”

“Who?! Who’s doing this?!”

Mimic just smiled. “Sorry, Blaze! But that’s classified info!” Then he shapeshifted into a bird and flew away. Leaving a very pissed off and very confused Blaze.

(Hero Tower)

The Heroes made their way to the Medbay Area in Hero Tower. Dream practically tearing his hair out and demanding to know what the hell was going on with George! Sapnap and Karl were standing off to the side waiting for the Doctor to come. Their drinks were tampered with and they already sent Boomer (Leapfrog) to investigate. Knowing that neither of them could take the case being both too personal and actually being involved in it.

A moment later Doctor Charlie Slimecicle, a Slime Hybrid with a Healing Ability in Potions and Poisons came to the waiting room. Clipboard in hand and a sense of calm around him. “Okay so let’s get down to business. George is going to be okay. We’re working on the cure right now. I managed to get a sample from the drinks and thanks to my ability was able to break down the components that were in the drinks so, we’re going to find out what caused all this very soon!”

Dream started to relax a bit at that. George will be okay!

“However, what’s concerning is not only what was in George’s drink but all of yours as well! George was a combination of Sleep Potion and some kind of hallucinogenic mixed together. I’m not even sure how that’s possible, but we’re working around the clock to bring him back. Right now, he’s in a coma like sleep and battling whatever kind of nightmares that was conjured up by this concoction.”

“Was George the target then?” Karl asked.

“I don’t think so,” Charlie answered. “Since Sapnap found out he couldn’t conjure up his fire ability after he went after Mimic. I took samples of all your drinks. Sapnap, you wound up having a Fire Resistance Potion in your drink. Luckily for you it was mild so should wear off by tomorrow. Karl, you wound up having a combination of a Weakness Potion and a Slowness Potion in your drink. Right now, that means that your Time-Bending Ability will either be nonexistent or it will have a very slow effect then normal. Dream, I’m not even sure what was in your drink! There were traces of different elements of different potions, so until we know what was slipped in your drink. I recommend that you don’t use your powers at all!”

Just then the elevator doors to the Medbay opened up and out leaped Boomer.

“We got another one!” Boomer said holding a report. “Another target of the spiked goodies! And we might have a possible kidnapping as well!”

“Who? Who was kidnapped?” Karl asked.

“Tommy Innes. He was last spotted at Niki’s Bakery before the security cameras caught a glimpse of who might have grabbed him.”

“Well, spit it out then!” Dream demanded

“Dream,” Boomer hesitated before he gave his answer. “It was Siren!”

Sleepy Bois Inc Batman au

okay hear me out

Phil is Batman. he’s got the dad vibes and a chronic addiction to adopting chaotic children and their friends. he seems like he should be the most responsible one, but this dude runs around in a fursuit fighting crime every night, he’s not as mature as he paints himself. always trying to give his kids advice but they never listen to him, so the poor man’s just struggling to contain the chaos.

Kristen is Catwoman. she’s a mischievous queen, always causing trouble for Phil when she gets the chance. logically she seems like she should be the mum, and the kids love her, but she’s ascended beyond the need for children and leaves Phil to clean up their messes.

Wilbur is Dick Grayson, the first Robin and current Nightwing. he’s the oldest and has been with Phil for the longest, got best friend vibes with Techno and accidental mentor vibes with Tommy. he takes pride in his appearance and his fashion, and has called himself a pretty boy. he’s stereotyped as the nice one on the surface but is highkey unstable. got the most friends among the rest of the caped community

Techno is Tim Drake, the third Robin n current Red Robin. he’s a fuckin neeerrrrrrd. socially awkward dude who accidentally made friends with a ton of extroverts and has been suffering the consequences ever since. smart and dedicated when he cares, but he often doesn’t. the least chaotic, but mostly just because he’s completely dead inside at this point. would beat up TommyInnit without hesitation.

Tommy is Damian Wayne, the current Robin. his literal nickname is demon brat, need i explain more? also, gets way too attached to animals (cough cough Henry)

and then Niki is Cassandra Cain, the second Batgirl and Batman’s only legal daughter. she’s essentially part of the family, but is a competent enough adult to not need parental figures and so doesn’t often get involved with the petty drama. quiet and sweet, but can and will destroy you if need be. any moral ambiguity can be eliminated by just fighting for whatever side she fights for. she is always in the moral right.

like, it all makes sense. Tubbo is Jon Kent, the current Superboy. he’s Tommy’s best friend and spends half his time with SBI; he’s the only metahuman they’ll let in Gotham. he’s super sweet but powerful af (hacks irl), and will play up the innocent persona to get away with chaos. and then Superman would be Sparklez; a veteran in the field and Tubbo’s father. fond of but also eternally done with SBI’s bullshit. stays the hell away from Gotham.

Then you could round out the Batgirls with Minx as Barbara Gordon (scary, always angry and usually with good reason, good leader but bad taste in men) and SophieTexas as Stephanie Brown (chaotic, strong moral code but willing to get her hands more dirty than SBI is, good friends with Techno n Niki). the girls on the gamer girl smp are the Birds of Prey. Poki is Wonder Woman.

the first Teen Titans were Soothouse, and Tim’s Young Justice group is Techno’s 2017- friend group: Hanna as Cassie’s Wonder Girl cause she’s an ascended fangirl, Skeppy as Impulse because duh, Calvin as Kon Kent’s Superboy cause he’s cocky but for bloody good reason, and Tapl as Slobo because it’d be funny. also, black nail polish rights. BBH is Arrowette but with a gun. he made the mistake of becoming friends with Skeppy and has been struggling ever since, but at least he’s close with the new Green Lanterns. people usually underestimate him, but he has a fucking gun so

Tommy’s new Teen Titans group includes Tubbo, Wisp, Deo, and Drista. Wisp is Maya Ducard’s Nobody; great at combat and with strong oldest-friend vibes. Deo is Emiko Queen’s Red Arrow, cause whenever he shows up the violence escalates significantly and rapidly. and then Drista is like that new Teen Lantern girl, the kid who wasn’t actually chosen but hacked into the Green Lantern rings’ power source cause she’s a gremlin child.

Squid Kid was just a big brain Gotham dude who thought it would be cool to challenge Techno’s title of ‘World’s Greatest Detective’. Techno took this personally, and the two took turns trying to outdo each other by solving the biggest cases the fastest. Squid, though, was a student, and so to fund this feud he accidentally became head of Gotham’s biggest drug empire, in charge of the city’s supply of a new chemical colloquially called ‘potatoes’. it’s non-addictive but does give you temporary super strength, which is inconvenient in a city that pumps out a new supervillain every week. the rivalry still continues, though, and - despite Squid turning from wannabe vigilante to criminal mastermind - the two have almost struck up a friendship, or at least an mutual admiration for each other

Schlatt runs the Suicide Squad, alongside Minx’s Oracle. they broke Quackity, Fundy, and Eret outta jail and got bombs in them, to force them to pull off the most dangerous missions. Quackity was there in the first place because of Schlatt, but is now having second thoughts. i kinda want him to be Harley Quinn, cause he has a similar vibe with the SBI boys that she has with the Bats. Eret was there because he betrayed some heroes a while ago for personal gain, and hasn’t had the chance to atone yet. Fundy was there because he used to be close with Wilbur, to the point that he was often mistaken as his sidekick. he got sick of Wilbur always needing to be the leader and turned to the villains’ side. the two haven’t spoken since

finally, the Dream Team are Earth’s Green Lanterns; super powerful and with a lot of galactic clout. they’re pretty new to the scene, though, and so initially clashed with SBI, cause they kept trying to get involved in Gotham’s business. powers are strictly prohibited in Gotham. eventually, this beef culminated in a duel between Dream and Techno: if Dream won they could actually uphold their oath and protect everyone on Earth, if Techno won then they had to stay the hell outta SBI’s city. Dream still hasn’t recovered from the fact that he was beat by a guy with no powers, but it was close enough for Techno to enjoy teaming up with the masked man every now and then since

my controversial dsmp take is that it’s the first day of school. i wake up at 7 AM but the FACT is I can never get off of my mattress. The first thing I do is watch GeorgeNotFound’s ice challenge video, then I work on my hamilton au fanart of TNTduo. When I get up, I salute to the L’manburg flag hung on my wall. I sing, “I heard there was a special place, where men could go and emancipate the tyranny and bloodlust of their rulers..” Then I rush downstairs and pour myself a bowl of Antfrosted Flakes. After breakfast I start to get ready for school. I put on my clout goggles and striped LAFD beanie. Then I fasten my white bandana to my head and put on my Dream 20 million limited edition black fleece hoodie. I catch the bus just in time and put on Roadtrip on my phone, humming “20 hours in an old van Up the east coast, through the cold wind Drove 20 hours by the ocean Up the east coast, what a road trip.” The bus drops me off and when I enter the school doors, someone comes up to me and says “nice hoodie, DREAM STAN” and throws a cup of coffee at me, staining my clothes. “Honk you” I mutter under my breath, and I pull out Nightmare from my Dream Team custom backpack that i bought for $53 on Redbubble. They tremble before me begging me not to hurt them. i let them off with a warning and let them know that i have the power of DreamXD and CaptainSparklez by my side. During my morning classes I can barely keep my eyes open, the only thing preventing me from falling asleep is me secretly watching the current Benchtrio stream part 5 of their plan to kill Dream in prison from my phone under my desk. For lunch I order a dream burger and manage to pick it up from the local MrBeast Burger before the bell rings. I wolf the whole burger down while i run to class hoping I won’t be late. I apologize to the teacher, Mr. Wastaken, but he says it’s okay because it’s still just the first day of school. For todays class he teaches how to do a .08 sec boat clutch from the 5 Hunters VS 1 Speedrunner episode of Minecraft Manhunt. I try to pay attention but I can’t stop doodling the Las Nevadas crew in my notebook. After school is finally over, I go home and enter Quackity’s discord vc where everyone is calling out for Scatman’s world. I spend an hour doing homework while simultaneously switching tabs between Discord, Twitter, and the 5/5 Feralboys Speedrun vod, and watching SAD-ist’s Dawn of the 16th animation in the background. At 5:30 i boot up minecraft and enter the server ip for Bootwt prom’s second lobby. A mcyt hater hacks the server and starts saying “all of mcyttwt is going to superhell” Then Ranboo and Tubbo walk on stage holding the lgbt ally flag and then destroys the hacker with a single beam of light. everyone starts clapping and cheering. Then, a single message pops up on the screen: “WilburSoot has joined the game.” Wilbur walks onto stage to reveal a button sealed under a trap door. He says, “it was never meant to be” and the entire server explodes and becomes engulfed in flames. The server shuts down. Bootwt prom is over. After the prom, I participate in #Bootwtselfiday and immediately get 1.2k retweets and 64k likes. Then I read the entirety of Passerine while listening to Turn Back Time by Derivakat and cry. Finally, I go to bed with my minecraft manhunt shirt on listening to Roadtrip once again (slowed and reverb). As i hear Dream sing “People change like the tides in the ocean at least I think or am I dead wrong” i slowly drift into sleep, ready for a full night’s rest.

because its going to be awhile before sbi are mentioned in my vampire the masquerade au, i really want to do just a quick little profile on them because i think they’re quirky and fun. so here’s wonderwall i guess:

tommy is a lasombra. the easiest way to describe lasombra is...well, there isn’t a super easy way to describe them. they command the shadows (obviously), but the reasons ive given this clan to tommy are because of the lasombra’s connections to ghosts (called wraiths in the world of darkness) and the church (church of prime reference ayo). other important thing to note, that i dont see as spoilers, is tommy’s sire is actually dream...so if you’ve read and call them brothers you’ll have a little more of an idea on how the clan lasombra operates (wont go into detail about tommy and dream’s relationship in this au because it’ll be something heavily covered in the main story). he’s the au’s little fledgling (read: punching bag) and is more or less the introduction into exactly what vampire society is for the audience. at least in the context of l’manburg vampire society. going to move on because if im not careful i will run into spoilers, because tommy’s journey is kind of the whole point of his point of view.

wilbur is a toreador. and if you know anything about vampire you know that that man, in and out of character, is the most toreador a person can be. when you think of toreador you’re first thought is usually twilight vampires...then you remember twilight vampires are just anne rice vampires with conservative values and less weaknesses and amend that thought. toreadors love art, they love music, they love humanity for what it creates and what they do with life. some would say they’re the most human of the clans, i’d say they’re the clan that romanticizes humanity the most. wilbur isn’t an incredibly old vampire, though he’ll insist he made l’manburg what it was before being forced to flee and needless to say he’s spending this au trying to get back what he’s owed, what was his to begin with. there’s a fun mix of l’manburg revolution era wilbur and pogtopia wilbur in this version that’s fun to play with. who’s to say what his motivations are? or who’ll get hurt in the process. another pov character so im keeping it short with him as well.

techno is a brujah. okay, okay, hang on i know this one doesn’t make much sense, let me change something: techno is a true brujah. look, there’s no way to confirm or deny in vtm canon if true brujah are even real, but if they are? technoblade is the textbook. the blueprint. brujah are the proud and reckless, the philosopher kings, the original anarchists. techno’s a little special in the sense that, true brujah are a bit more reserved, emphasis more on the philosopher than the kings part. but he’s had a desolate and bloody path as a vampire, before meeting phil and reigning in what little humanity he had left. techno is definitely one of the characters with the least amount of humanity, which probably sounds crazy to anyone who doesn’t know how vtm is played, but rest assured it doesn’t mean he’s an unfeeling and unrelenting monster that’s cutting down people in the streets. techno as a vampire is reserved, he’s learning how to live again, he’s trying his hardest to make fighting NOT apart of who he is. but in wod, that’s a bit of a challenge. he’s also been given a seat of power which isn’t helping his attempts to keep out of conflict. another fun tidbit i’ll mention, as techno is not a pov character like tommy and wilbur, he’s equipped with his voices in this one. and for those of you who know a thing or two about a thing or two, let’s just say he’s tuned into the radio station that hosts the madness network.

phil is a gangrel. and he’s one of my favorite side characters (probably because im a philza minecraft stan deep down). gangrels are the more bestial of the clans, they’re literally in tune with their beast. and besides that, phil has his murder of bloodbonded crows to spy for him all over the city, which is another perk of clan gangrel. he can also turn into a bird. which is either fun or gross depending on who you ask. phil is definitely what i would consider an elder vampire (haha, get it, elder. he’s old) and has been around the block quite a few times. this is what makes him the perfect...mentor character for a lot of the cast, and most importantly noted; techno. phil is the opposite of techno, his humanity is so high that if vampire enlightenment existed he would have reached it (this is another vtm joke, laugh track plays here). this isn’t to say phil’s vtm version is a good person by any means. it has a lot more to do with personal philosophy and convictions than anything else, like i said about gangrel, they really are in tune with their beast and in phil’s case, he only sees this as a good thing. he’s the epitome of being a vampire doesn’t make you a bad person, it just makes you more aware of the horrors one human being can inflict on another. and in a way, he’s kind of right.

im probably not going to edit these paragraphs because they were just something fun for me to do. because i adore this au, but it’s really slow going. a lot of the major players aren’t introduced until the main story kicks off and its going to be awhile before i get to that point lmao. anyways if you read this far, feel free to ask me questions, i dont mind explaining vtm/wod terminology either!

Sure! Here’s both of them!

DetectiveAU:

Dream is stalking Tommy, but for the time being he doesn’t suspect that he’s the theif- after all, he’s a skinny little street kid. He just thinks that he’s involved in some way- that he was set up as stealing some of the jewellery by being given some of it to sell. He’s seen Tommy with a piece of jewellery, but only one, and that’s why he suspects he was given it and isn’t the thief.

Tommy kept it because it’s a locket that has a picture of the mysterious wandering musician he met long ago inside it, a bit younger and in school uniform besides Niki. He’s desperately trying to analyse it for a lead.

The musician is Wilbur, obviously. He grew up in wealth, with his father Phil growing up in old money and his godfather Techno having managed to shoot up the ranks of the army incredibly fast, after Philza took notice of him. Still, he’s a free spirit at heart, and spends a lot of his time wandering the country, playing his guitar, and helping people, because he’s seen the tyranny of the system and he doesn’t know what else to do.

Tubbo and Ranboo are also street kids. They’re Tommy's only friends.

George and Sapnap, likewise, are Dream's only friends, and his conduit to the outside world.

Dream’s concealed and forged evidence before. He’s currently considering how hard that’d be for the evidence someone ever existed, so no one would notice when the robberies stopped and Dream had his little thief trapped where he wanted him forever.

FaeAU:

I’m going with my own headcanons/interpretations so it’s a bit different than Heart's wonderful fic. I did intentionally keep things open in the AU description to allow any interpretation though!

Philza was one of the previous mortals who entered the forest, and was the only one to escape, aided by a fae (Technoblade) that found him interesting. In return, Philza was made immortal so the two of them shall never leave each other’s side no matter the age.

Philza got his wings as a “gift”, in a trick to get him to stay. He managed to weasel his way out of the spirit of the deal- it was that he could never leave the forest, and technically the few abandoned, unenchanted areas of the forest were still part of the forest.

Wilbur was, like Tommy, abandoned at the edge of the forest. He was slightly older, though, and very nearly wandered into fae territory before Philza found him.

Philza's true name is Phil, Technoblade's true name is in the fae tongue and vaguely translates to “Techno” and “Blade”. Wilbur's true name is Wilbur Minecraft, sharing a last name with his father. Tommy's true name is Theseus.

BadBoyHalo and Sapnap are fae too, both imps. Skeppy is a homunculus created by BadBoyHalo.

Purpled is a pixie, and helps protect Hannah's grove.

Dream's true form is DreamXD! He tricked George into giving his true name basically in the same way he convinced him into being his friend in canon.

Heart's idea of Foolish being Eret's “mortal” is the cutest thing and I’m stealing it. Eret's nice, but still a fae, btw. She’s not… moral, and cares only of her own self interest, but she finds seeing people happy interesting and seeing them sad or in pain distasteful.

My vague idea for how it���d go would either be Tommy not taking the deal, and Ranboo and Tubbo helping him get the flower and escape the forest, or Tommy reluctantly accepting the deal and then we get the lovely angst lol.

If anyone else wants to send in some more AU ideas it’d be lovely and I will make them heavily involve c!primeboys no matter what and again that’s a challenge.

Dream SMP High School AU

pt 1

so many people loved this AU so here’s my little ficlet on the TA’s adventures! This one is SBI centric and we’ve also got some Tubbo and Ranboo!

On the third day of school, Teacher-Assistant assignments are posted. Ms. Puffy treks through the halls smiling at new bright-eyed freshman and shakes her head at the hoard of hopeful seniors following behind her to the library where the list is posted. 

“Everyone will get to take a look! Mr. Minecraft and I worked extensively on the list and there will be no changes! The teachers and I are so excited to help foster your growth as a-” Puffy tried to give her inspirational speech but was cut off by the shrieks of joy, excitement, terror, anger, and every other emotion high strung teenagers could have. 

Tubbo walked straight up to her, “I got Sam right?” while the other kids were crowding the list beyond hopeful for their advisor Tubbo knew he would be Sam since he took every computer science class in his freshman year.

“If I told you no would you believe me?” Puffy winked, Tubbo shook his head with a laugh and started off toward the science wing. Unfortunately for him, a familiar screech made him spin on his heel. 

“WHAT THE FUCK” Puffy stiffened, took a deep breath, and located the voice as one TommyInnit. In a few angry strides he was towering over her as he began screeching. “I requested Wilbur, or even big man Philza, or hell, I probably could’ve made do with Sam and Tubbo! But Wastaken’s shit class? What do you take me for? Wilbur doesn’t even have a fuckin’ TA this year? You’d better change me right the hell now if you know what’s good for you.” 

Puffy sighed, she knew this was coming. “Tommy, Mr. Minecraft and I went over this, and we really think you can grow a lot with Dre- Mr. Wastaken this year. You truly have knack for physics and we think your creativity will add to his class. Trust me here Tommy, this is gonna be a great year!” Puffy tried to keep a calm smile on her face, but her saving grace was Wilbur himself coming up to her. 

Wilbur looked disheveled, it was writing season for the fall musical after all, but he had a massive grin as he approached the pair. “Pufffayyy! How will I repay you, or was it Philza? God do I have to give my condolences to Dream but a year with no TA is a good year for me! Say- Tommy! You ready for physics?” Wilbur clapped the shorter boy on the back with a teasing grin. Wilbur would poke fun at Tommy but he truly wanted the world for his favorite student. Puffy wasn’t going to be the one to tell Tommy it was actually Wilbur who had the idea of putting Tommy with Dream, Wil was always telling everyone he could that Tommy would be great and he was determined to let him shine even if it meant living TA-less for a year. 

“Wilbur you have to let me switch I cannot lose senior year to physics.” Tommy faked a gag but Wilbur was quick to chime in, “Oh no, you’re doing it. But my door is always open you know. Also you should be happy- isn’t the physics classroom one door down from the computer science room?” Wilbur always knew how to get Tommy’s attention elsewhere.  

“It is... speaking of which, Tubbo, we have to go set up our TA studies next to each other!” Tommy turned on his heel, nodding to his best friend as the two bolted through the hallway towards the science wing.

“You sure about this Wil?” Puffy glanced as the library which now had the teachers looking at their own pair-ups. One physics teacher looked less than excited. 

“The world isn’t ready for TommyInnit. Hell, Tommy isn’t ready, but he’s gonna do big things. Trust me Puffy.” Wilbur said with a grin, heading over to congratulate Dream on his new understudy.

On the other side of the school Philza sat with a different senior.

“Ranboo my boy, I promise you this year’s going to be great! Mate, you’re one of the brightest students in this school. And trust me, Techno’s a great guy. He likes to have the reputation but he’s a real softie once you get to know ‘em! I wouldn’t assign you to him if I didn’t believe in you!” Phil placed a reassuring hand on the anxious senior in front of him. 

Ranboo’s voice was shakier than normal, “I-I just- it’s only my second year here. I barely know where the english classroom is! Also, I didn’t take advanced english here so how will I even be any help? Doesn’t Mr. Blade hate all the non AP students?” Ranboo rambled but Phil knew he was just nervous. 

“Everything happens for a reason mate, now go on down and pick a study wing with the other TA’s. It’s your senior year! It’s gonna be great.” Ranboo gave him a slight nod, thanking him for his time as he scurried out of Phil’s office. Phil couldn’t deny the Ranboo and Techno pair up was his idea, last year he saw something in Ranboo that was so innately intelligent and bright he knew Ranboo’s thoughtful ideas could impress anyone, even “The Blade” as the students called Techno. 

Phil yawned, he was exhausted and it was only day three of the school year. Just as he was about to dive into paperwork he go a call from the front office manager saying he had guests. With a sigh he got up, giving slight waves to his teachers as they made their way through the office to pickup paperwork and whatnot he noticed two familiar figures sitting directly across from each other. As he entered the main office both stood up.

“Phil, the newbie? Kid hasn’t even passed my class how am I supposed to make a TA out of him?-”

“TommyInnit? Tommy-freaking-Innit. Is this a joke? What’s your play here?-”

They both stopped, looking at the other. 

“Techno.”

“Dream.” They greeted each other curtly. 

It was always a funny sight seeing the two interact. AP Physics and AP English were known as the two most challenging, and iconic classes in the school- and their teachers held themselves to that standard. Many compared the two, debating who was the better teacher, with the better class content, or more rigorous academics, but honestly Philza wouldn’t have it any other way. Dream and Techno pushed each other in the best way possible, and the students always benefited from their competitive nature. 

“I see you two saw the TA assignments.” Phil mused, beckoning them down back to his own office. The two scuffled for who got to walk directly behind him but Techno took the lead. 

“So, as I understand, you’re both reasonably confused with your seniors, but trust me: those are two of the brightest students here, and they’ll both impress you as the year goes on.” Phil laughed at himself at their similarities, deciding he could play into the competitiveness of the two teachers in front of him. Phil continued, “Now, before either of you start I’ve got this to say. Ranboo and Tommy are both gifted in their subjects. Techno, I know you haven’t taught Ranboo everything he knows but that kid will give you a run for your wits, and I trust that you can shape him into a great scholar. Dream, you’ve got Tommy. I’m assuming Wil has already explained Tommy’s capability, your job is to inspire him. Both of you have two of the best kids in my school, and you better appreciate it. I would hate to see either of you drop the ball.” Phil leaned back in his chair, watching the two think his statement over.

Dream was the first to speak up, “I never drop the ball.”

Techno scoffed, “Good luck with Tommy, this Ranboo kid sounds pretty great anyways.”

This got Dream in the game, “Tommy’ll be double the student you could make Ranboo.”

“That so? Not with your teaching.” Techno shot back playfully. 

And just like that, Phil knew Dream and Technoblade would give their students the best education they could, he just hoped the kids could hang with the crazy teachers in front of him.

“Did this day feel like the length of a month or just me?” Puffy slumped into the chair across from Phil. Phil answered, “it felt liked a month. But I just know this year’s gonna be good.” Puffy nodded in agreement. 

“Glad you’re feeling good, ‘cuz I’m 99% sure Tubbo’s programming a device to hack the school intercom. And I cannot deal with another week of Wii Shop music playing over our loudspeakers like last year.” Puffy laughed, but there was a clear wince in her tone.

“God that kid’s unstoppable isn’t he.” Phil pinched the bridge of his nose. Almost like clockwork a familiar tune started blaring over the intercom. Phil and Puffy jumped from their desks, headed straight to the comp sci room.

I’ve been working on a Dream SMP Pokémon AU :D

This is pretty lengthy it’s all under the cut.

Okay apologizing now for spelling mistakes. I didn’t have my Pokédex on me alright.

This AU takes place in Galar, but the starting Town is named L’Manburg. And also Circhester is Snowchester

Tommy is The main character you play as. (So when I say you, I mean Tommy. But when I say Tommy I also mean you y’know). He chose a fire type starter, a Scorbunny he nicknamed Cat. He also has a Zigzagoon named Mellohi, a shiny Venomoth named Clemintine, Joltik named Shroud, and a Tauros named Henry! He loves his Pokémon a lot, and makes sure to nickname them.

Tubbo is the rival/best friend! He chose the grass starter, Grookey. He has a voltorb, Deerling, a Spoink he shares custody of with Ranboo named Micheal, a Wheezing, and miraculously, Xurkitree. He refuses to say where he got it.

Ranboo is the ghost gym leader who Tubbo convinces to come with him and Tommy, and get the water stater Sobble despite hating all water types. Also has a backstory with Team Dream, but doesn’t know much due to memory loss! He also seems to have a skin condition causing his skin and hair to become dual coloured. His team consists of Alolan Marrowhack, Lampent, Banette and Yamask!

Dream is the leader of Team Dream, a diabolical team that steals Pokémon! SapNap (fire-type leader) and Gogy (bug-type leader who of which only has Pokémon with the “sleep spore” move) two of the higher-level leaders, think it’s all for the fun of it and for the better of the region but Dream actually has them steal for power!

Tommy and Tubbo go and defeat Dream to retrieve Tommy’s partner Pokémon Mellohi and Cat. The odd thing about Dream is insists on fighting Pokémon himself, sans Pokémon. Rumor says his partner pokemon abandoned him.

Puffy is the fairy-type gym leader! She uses a repurposed water-type gym, so her gym challenge and stuff is all pirate themed. She helps the hero’s periodically throughout their journey! Also Watch out for her Jigglypuff, it knows Sing!

Technoblade is the current champion is the region, and Tommy’s big brother! He uses seemingly only Emboar to win every battle. Technoblade never dies!

He ends up helping Team Dream during the finale, being one of the bosses you have to defeat (he was peer pressured okay!). It is also revealed during that fight he’s where Tubbo got Xurkitree!

There’s also Wilbur, who is Technoblade’s twin brother and Tommy’s big brother, who failed at defeating all the gym challenges and ran away. He started helping the hero’s many times throughout their journey until he moved ahead of them in the gym challenges (The bench trio had plot stuff to attend to). He made a bet with Philza, the flying type gym leader and his dad, that if he lost he wouldn’t try at being champion again for 6 months. He lost. Nobody knows where he ran off to, but when he comes back with Dream (and on his side too) it’s pretty clear his mental health didn’t fair well. He used to have a partner Pokémon, a Nickett named Fundy, but he abandoned him fairly early on in his journey. He comes back to defeat Ghostbur when Dream makes him fight you during the finale! Also Wilbur has a Drillbur and a Timburr simply because I think it’s funny.

There’s Philza Minecraft, the flying-type gym leader and Tommy’s dad. He is the last leader you face before the bracket. His partner Pokémon Corviknight likes to perch on his back and make it look like Phil has wings. Tommy is two Pokémon down during this battle (it’s when Dream has possession of Cat and Mellohi), but he still wins! Tommy thinks that Phil let him win so he doesn’t pull a Wilbur and run off to be a villain.

The regions scientist is actually two people, Sam Awesome, who’s name tag jokingly says AweSamdude, is kinda the R&D part of the lab. He made a little robot furret named Sam Nook that essentially acts like Navi the whole time, bothering Tommy with unhelpful info. Sometimes helpful tho. The other one is Dr. Opsby Ponk, just called Ponk, who gave the Bench Trio their starters! But don’t go to her for medical advice, he’ll just feed your Pokémon lemons. They they grew them herself tho!

There’s also Team Egg. A Team of trainers who’s been mind controlled by a Pokémon egg! The egg won’t hatch, it has vines, is psychic, and no scientist can get even a little bit close without being possessed themselves. The leader of this team is a man who only goes by the alias BadBoyHalo, the dark-type gym leader. During his gym challenge is when you find out about Team Egg. All his Pokémon gained the typing of psychic after being possessed. His second in command is a man by the Alias of AntFrost, a cat-like Pokémon only user, and during the after-game Both Sam and Ponk were effected by the egg trying to study it. And the most bizzarre edition to the Team Egg crew is a man with diamond skin named Skeppy. You meet these misfits periodically throughout your journey, but never really fight them until you defeat Dream.

During the big fight finale, it is revealed that Dream has been conducting experiments to create the ultimate Pokémon-human hybrid. He experimented on Ranboo, the first test on the kid ghost gym leader, and that’s why he has no memory and has black-white skin. His other tests where the Pokémon egg (where it’s revealed a man named Velvet is inside it!) Charlie and Skeppy. And the big big reveal is that he experimented on Wilbur too! He was the only success, being both human and now ghost type! (Nicknamed Ghostbur by Dream)

Dream succeeds in turning himself half-Pokémon during the finale with a big fancy cutscene, but then Tommy gets Cat and Mellohi back along with he and Tubbo getting Zamazenta and Zacian (this still takes place in Galar lol) so he’s defeated! (Tubbo is the one who gets the final hit!!)

Unfortunately, Team Egg is not defeated along with Dream so it’s kinda the after story. After the finale is also when Tommy defeats Technoblade on in the official match and becomes the new Champion! Tubbo loses to Tommy and Techno, but is still happy he even got to try and that his best friends are happy!

There’s also Quackity, the leader of an underground fighting ring. Very illegal but very fancy, but no-one goes there. There’s always a battle but no trainers or spectators! He has one of the failed Pokémon-human experiments named Charlie, a human-Dodosion hybrid.

SapNap is also the Fire-type gym leader, but was also on Team Dream. He left the moment he found out Dream experimented on people, and took Gogy (the big type leader) with him, which ultimately made Dream snap finally make himself half Pokémon. Gogy fell asleep during your gym challenge.

Niki runs a little bakery for Pokémon, and is somehow in every location all at once. Don’t ask her how. The original location is in the same town as Puffy’s gym.

Eret is the curator of the museum, a plot revelant location and she kinda makes you solve a bunch of riddles and tests before he gives you the information you ask for. They show up in the end too, waving a giant pride flag to try and give Tommy’s side some gay protection.

Foolish is a talking Pokémon himself, and takes place of Calyrex. He’s a totem, and your goal in the DLC is the same as Calyrex but you run around a desert. I still haven’t completed the DLC but I wanted to include foolish don’t @ me.

Purpled is one of the trainers you battle in the bracket and kinda takes place of Bede but not a jerk, and is the closest Tommy gets to losing other than to Techno and Tubbo.

Both he and Foolish join Las Nevadas in the DLC. (Oh yeah, Las Nevadas the underground fighting ring is explored more in the DLC.) ((Btw When I say DLC btw I really mean like, Tommy can start it at any point but can also wait until after all the story and after story. The second one is what I assume they did because that’s just how I played Sw/Sh but it’s up to interpretation))

Jack Manifold is another gym challenger, a steel-type user. He’s from the same town as Tubbo, Snowchester! He streams all his Pokémon battles, and is the one who encouraged Tommy to do the same.

MCC is a yearly tournament that is well known throughout the whole world. It is run and organized by Scott Major, the legendary Noxite and his crew. They spend a whole year to put together incredible challenges for adventurers to take part in. Many competitors are well-known, as they started gaining their fame from winning, but the tournament is open to all adventurers that are looking to prove their worth. People from all over gather to watch the tournament take place, sometimes even to see new legends being born.

MCYT High School Teacher AU

I don’t know if this has already been done but with student teaching on the brain this was invading my subconscious.

Phil: Principal

The most chill admin you’d ever find (He kind of has to be with the staff at the school)

Will let most things slide if you ask nicely

Has a quiet space in his office for students to take a moment to calm down after acting out. He’ll offer them candy and talk through the situation with them. 

Started out as a counselor at the school, so he still holds a similar mentality when it come to talking with students and staff. 

Always takes the side of his staff. The district is usually in the wrong anyway.

He knows the teachers are the experts, screw whatever requirements the state has, he lets them run their classrooms whichever way is best for the students’ learning

Technoblade:  Literature & Composition

One of the most engaging teachers at the school

Most students love him because he’s real and he’ll tell it like it is. 

Has a coffee machine in his room. It’s rare that he’s not holding a mug in his hand while he teaches

Has high expectations for his students

Rarely gets angry. Even when he’s upset he still comes across as calm.

Usually stays at the school late making sure to give the best possible feedback on papers and reports. He genuinely wants each kid to learn something from his class.

Tommy: Speech and Debate

It’s only his second year of teaching

The students would run the classroom if not for Tommy basically being a student himself

There’s a strong chance his class will be off topic at any given point. It’s always an adventure walking past his door, you never know what you’ll hear

Somehow still gets high scores on average from his students

Keeps students after class when he notices them struggling with school or life in general to talk with them. The conversations are always beneficial.

Will 100% fall asleep during professional development meetings.

Karl: Biology

Tries to act hip, fails most of the time.

Always has the most energy in his lessons, finds unique ways to teach the concepts other than slides and worksheets.

Usually the first one in the building each morning

Will give students different options for final projects so they can chose the best method of showing their evidence of learning. 

Gets lower scores than he should on observations because he doesn’t do well under the pressure. One year Phil didn’t announce when he’d be coming in and watched from the door to give a more accurate review. 

Wears a sweatshirt to class more often than he should

Quackity: Spanish 

Hands on learning whenever possible

Uses the home ec. room to make authentic Mexican dishes with his students when they cover the food and restaurant unit

Will just forget that the kids don’t speak Spanish fluently and ramble on until someone interrupts him.

Slow grader, you get your scores when you get them.

Known to be a bit chaotic with his teaching style, it works for some kids but he does need to reteach certain sections every now and then

One time a kid feel asleep in his class so he had all the other students leave and they had class outside to freak the kid out (They were right outside the classroom window, he could still see the sleeper, he told Phil)

Skeppy: Algebra

Like’s his job, pretty much your average teacher

Can’t stand freshmen, but tolerates them since that’s half the students he has. He prefers teaching advanced algebra to upper classmen

His lessons are always formatted the same, starting with a lesson on how to do that days math, with the remainder of the period being free work time

Holds math challenges with his class and gives out prizes. It’s usually candy, though one time he gave out cash. He made his kids promise not to say a word about it. 

Very good at teaching the same math concepts in different ways to help struggling learners

Always one minute away from being late for first period, but makes it just in time every morning.

Dream: Health/Football and Assistant Basketball Coach

Took the teaching job mainly to coach sports

Still cares about making connections with his students, he uses his class to teach life skills and promote positive social and mental health.

If any of his players are in his class he will pick on them. He has no mercy.

Dreads sex education because no one can be mature about it. He gets revenge by making the students film a “how to say no to sex” video with someone in the class.

His wheeze laugh is iconic. You can hear it from down the hall.

If you meet with him and are honest when you’re struggling, he’ll work with you to pass his class. He isn’t going to ruin your GPA over a project on the negative effects of smoking.

Wilbur: History & Geography/Theater 

The teacher who sits on his desk when he lectures

Is very sarcastic with his students, but knows who can take the teasing and makes sure not to make anyone feel uncomfortable.

Prefers class discussion over solo work time, he likes hearing student’s perspectives and ideas.

Turtlenecks

One of the teachers most likely to be the crush of teenage girls. 

Not afraid to mark you down for sloppy work. You use a black ink pen and draw precise lines when turning in maps and graphs or you redo it.

Speaks in musical references 

George: Physics

The chillest teacher by far

Due dates? Don’t worry, he’ll accept an assignment literally months after it was supposed to be turned in

Makes difficult topics seems simple when he describes them

He doesn’t really care if you have your phone out in class as long as you’re paying attention and learning the material

The students straight up call him George, he doesn’t seem to care

Placing near the top for the most crushed on teacher

King of multiple choice questions

Eret: Economics & Government

Makes any student in his class feel welcome

One of few teachers who can lecture the entire period without students falling asleep. He always has interesting stories

Let’s kids chose where they sit

Freshmen are always caught off guard by his voice when they hear him for the first time

Spends too much of his own money on supplies for his students and classroom (Honestly most teachers have to spend their own money on necessary supplies, he just goes about and beyond.)

There’s always a group of students who eat lunch in his classroom 

The Union Rep at their school, will fight tooth and nail for the staff members

Tubbo: Band Director

Super cheerful whenever he’s teaching

He rarely has any free time before or after school because he has so many one-on-one lessons and meetings with students

Likes to have practice outside when the weather is nice

Does his best to make his students feel comfortable and relaxed whenever he does performance based assessments. 

He’s also a new teacher, but you honestly wouldn’t be able to tell

He will be in tik toks if you ask him to, and he’s familiar with all the pop culture trends

Let’s the students chose a song to play at the last band concert. Some years have been less chaotic than others, the worst (or best, depending on who you ask) being when the students voted to play Deja Vu from Initial D.

Fundy: Computer Science/Coding 

Begins each class with a cheesy computer joke. Every class.

Everyone knows you can’t get anything past him technology wise. He can see that headphone in your ear from across the room.

Isn’t afraid to assign extra work when students are disrupting class

Once took up an entire class period showing his students how he coded different difficulties in Minecraft. He wasn’t ashamed to admit that he plays the game in his spare time. 

About half the students in his class aren’t really interested in computers, they just want to have him as a teacher since everyone says he’s cool.

Known to hack school computers to bypass restrictions

Sucker for pizza parties. Has at least one per semester  

Sapnap: PE/Basketball Coach

Hella competitive 

Abuses his power of having a whistle. Someone should really take it away from him

Gyms shorts every day. Even in the winter. Sometimes he wears sweats, but never jeans.

Doesn’t let anyone sit out of activities

Tries to set up fun tournaments for each activity they do, makes sure to balance the teams so no one has too much of an upper hand.

He’s usually the teacher who mans detention, he tries to make it as positive as it can be though.

Keeps extra sets of gym clothes to give to students who forgot or can’t afford to buy them

Schlatt: Calculus and Stats/Business  

You either love him or are terrified of him

One of the only teachers who can have an “aggressive” teaching style and still connect with students

You will learn something from his class, he makes sure of it. 

Doesn’t accept late work unless you have a really good reason why you couldn’t turn it in

Wears a tie every day

If another teacher needs a last minute sub during his prep period he’ll cover them. Doesn’t matter what subject, he can wing it

He was the reason the school started offering business studies as an elective due to some vague threats towards the district

Niki: Art/German

Teaching voice is so soft

You can’t tell whether or not she’s giving you constructive criticism because everything she says sounds so positive 

Let’s her students lead learning for the most part, she will cover topics that most interest them while still trying to hit the district required standards (luckily teaching electives gives her a bit more freedom with her curriculum)

Her classroom always smells lovely

Will bring in homemade goodies each Friday for the staff room

Holds art galleries at the end of each semester to show off the arts since they often go unappreciated. It has turned out to be a super popular event for students and staff.

Bad: Special Education

This man has endless patience. It’s crazy

Even after the longest days when none of the students are cooperating, he still has a smile on his face

If he hears cursing in the halls he will call you out in front of everyone. Teachers included. 

Makes sure to keep a list of all his students favorites so he can surprise them with gifts on their birthdays or around holidays

He works closely with the other teachers to make sure his kids can be as involved in general education as possible.

Always wears something fun, be it a tie, socks, shirt, or even a full outfit. His students love seeing what new wacky garment he’ll be wearing that day. 

More Head Cannons

If someone brings food for the staff room Tommy WILL take it. Sometimes he’ll come back for seconds, there will be none left by the end of the day. He’s not as bad as Skeppy though, who will literally pack it up to take home for later.

For the past few months the staff members have been receiving anonymous email chains with photoshopped pictures of each other. Everyone was sure Fundy was behind it, Eret thought he saw him teaching his students how to use the program by editing their favorite teachers into stupid situations (they’ve all been school appropriate of course). Fundy did in fact start it, but now so many other teachers have joined in that it can’t be traced back to one person anymore.

All the teachers love going to sporting events. They’ll join in with the student section to cheer on the teams. If they know there’s a kid who doesn’t have family that will come to watch them they’ll make shirts with that players number to show support for them.

Wilbur, Niki, and Tubbo work together on musicals. Niki does the sets and costuming, Wilbur directs, and Tubbo leads the pit. There are plenty of long nights during tech week that devolve into chaos (especially when Niki isn’t there)

Spirit week is very intense, to say the least. The teachers are assigned a grade to be advisors to, and they get into it. For the duration of the week they practically become rivals with whoever isn’t in their assigned grade. They’ll pull pranks on each other constantly, especially when the students can see. It’s all playful of course, but it gets the kids more excited about spirit week when they can support their teachers and watch the amicable rivalries carry out.

Technoblade once joked that he knew every detail about every classic novel. His students took this as a challenge, and tried to find the most obscure and specific trivia questions they could ask him. He has yet to be stumped.

Dream and Sapnap had a running streak of about four weeks where they made everything into a competition. Who could enter their grades into the computer fastest? How many cups of coffee did they drink that day? Who got to school first that morning? There was a tally board in the staff room and the teachers had a betting pool going. Phil finally ended it when they accidently broke the school’s copier trying to see who could scan the most documents in five minutes. Dream was ahead by three points, Sapnap never lived it down.

In service days are incredibly boring, so the staff tries to make those days a bit more entertaining. They order in pizza or sandwiches for lunch. Since there aren’t any kids in the school they’ll do everything they’re no supposed to, like racing office chairs down the hallways and blasting non-school-appropriate music in their classrooms.

Wilbur accidentally started a black market of sorts when he took all the new whiteboard pens from the supply closest. He used this to his advantage, getting people to do him favors in return for the good supplies. Quackity and Tommy are co-emcees for the school assemblies. They hold class competitions between the grades, including spirit chants and ridiculous games. Think minute to win it style, but way crazier. Everyone gets super into it, the upperclassmen usually win. The two have good chemistry and a fun energy.

George has a unit where students make bottle rockets and launch them outside on the soccer field. And every year Karl brings his class out to watch claiming that “it’s science, I teach science, I’ll have them write a paragraph about what they learned”. Really he just wants to watch rockets go brrr

For Schlatt’s birthday one year, Wilbur and Techno printed off shirts with his face on it for all the staff to wear. Schlatt was super confused when he came into work and all his colleagues were walking around with his face plastered across their chest. He got back at Wilbur for it by putting salt in his coffee for a week straight, but Techno never got his comeuppance. It’s debatable whether Schlatt just didn’t know he was in on it, or if he knew better than to mess with Techno.

Lesson planning and curriculum building is quite the process. Some departments can stay on task better than others. Schlatt and Skeppy get in, plan out the term, and get out. The math department has everything on lock. Social studies are also pretty good at getting pre-planning done. They tend to spend most of their time having discussions that aren’t necessarily related to the tasks at hand though. The English department is a mess. It’s really Tommy who’s a mess, he just projects that onto everyone else. Karl and George work well together to map out science curriculum. Even though teachers who teach electives aren’t required to collaborate with each other, they still get together and bounce ideas off each other and get feedback.

I have plenty more if people want a second part. I also only listed the MCYTs that I’ve watched enough to know their personalities at least a little bit, but if you wanted to see another person I may expand the staff list!

I’m not exactly sure what I’m calling this but, DTeam/ other mcyter Watcher au!! under cut because I don’t know how to be concise and I don’t want to start now. 

ok so this kinda gets complicated but I’ll try my best to keep it simple. tws for torture, both mental and physical, and injuries, but none of it is explicitly “shown”. watchers are basically a cult so....thats a tw right there. also discrimination. and kidnapping

watchers are a cult-like group. they dwell in all dimensions, and all of them are Phantoms. However, Phantoms are a species, and not all Phantoms are watchers. I think of Phantoms like Vampires. you can be born one, but also turned one. many people see Phantoms as inherently Watcher, and they are often hated in society. 

there are three forms of watcher: overworld, nether, and end. each of the subcategories has specialized talents, but they all try to bring the world to its so-called “natural” state, which they see as no automatic farms, no mob-proofing, and they all focus on PVP from a young age. 

alright onto the more fun stuff.

at age twelve, Dream is taken (heh. dreamwastaken. im so funny) from his home underground. He was a slime, and had just grown big enough to begin fighting. he transformed into a Phantom in a world the watchers dropped him (& sap & george) in. he was taken as the end watcher warrior, meant to represent the End watchers and all they stood for. 

at a little older than 11, Sap was taken from his home in the nether (safer part, not pigcreature territory). he was a villager before the watchers transformed him into phantom. sap was taken to represent the nether watchers. 

george was taken at 11 years old. he was a player who lived in an overworld city. he specialized in metalsmithing, including weaponsmithing and armorsmithing. he was taken to represent the overworld watchers. 

they were all dropped, alone, in the world. dream woke up first, in only a day, and, knowing basic survival skills, and started working on a house. the others took 2 days (sap) and a week (george) to recover from the transformation. 

three days after they were put into the world, the first “challenge” began. zombies. the watchers sent several hundred zombies, all of which had either an axe, pickaxe, or a sword, after them. the first wave went on for three days, and then died down to a monthly wave, with the full moon having thee hundred or so zombies, and a new moon having fifty or so. different challenges happened at different times, most of them being dreams “minecraft, but” videos. 

seven years after DTeam was taken, Bad (born overworld villager) was taken at 19 years old, so the watchers could see how a typical non-watcher person could compare to the team. the answer was a resounding NOT WELL. he nearly died several times in the first year of his kidnapping, and was still seen as the weakest link in the team, at least in terms of combat. 

DTeam escapes the world four years after Bad joins. they were brought to a watcher castle and managed to worldhop just in time for their trap to go off, killing several watchers, and injuring them badly in the process. they bought their own world and slowly became used to society again.

other watchers are techno (born watcher, escaped at 17), and grian (turned, escaped a year after he was turned). 

grian, techno, wilbur, and sometimes DTeam & hermitcraft, make a support group for former watchers, to help them get used to society & out of the watchers sight. they are all prominent members of the listeners, the biggest anti-watcher group. 

i have character ideas for: dream, sap, george, bad, techno, grian, wilbur, tommy, a6d, and skeppy so far. i have a vague idea for most of the hermitcraft lads.

For all Tommy knows, that is impossible.
