I've been holding off on going through more of my last ShanGo order for multiple reasons, most of which work out to "dragging it out prolongs my enjoyment," but I'm tired of no Ranwan on my keys, so I'm gonna add this buddy to my keychain today. He's got no doggy to keep him company but that's okay, maybe I'll be able to get a Mo Ran to go with him sometime, and he's not my only broken OTP; Wei Ying is alone because the loop on my Lan Zhan broke. And Yan Wushi will probably be alone soon cause Shen Qiao's not lasting.

Car keys, house keys.

Car keys spend more time in my pocket so they take more of a beating, I usually just leave the house keys in my car. 😅

DRAWTOBER #2 - The frosty blade, as yet untried by Ashura (part of a collab project with @wifiwuxians, who created the artwork that inspired it!)

The last flickering lights of the array fizzled and died. The cave was empty. Song Lan was alone. But he was whole. He felt blood pumping once more through his tired veins, a heartbeat racing within his ribs. The scrapes on his palms oozed, and his knee throbbed where it had hit the ground. For a moment he remained, catching his breath (he had breath), and then he tried to speak. - Song Lan goes back in time and tries to fix things. It was all Xingchen's idea.

I loooooove a good time travel fix-it and there are actually surprisingly few for songxiao so I was delighted to find this (bitter)sweet one! Song Lan has an unexpectedly lovely friendship with wangxian and the exploration of how complicated his feelings are around trying to "save" Xue Yang is wonderful to read. it's particularly poignant how, even after everything, it's Xingchen who insists that Xue Yang still deserves a better life 🥺 a beautiful little fix it.

My loveliest Xue Yang enthusiasts!!!

In a month or so it's this adorable murder gremlin's birthday, and there is an extremely cool initiative out there to bring as many Xue Yang art together as possible!

This is organized by @wifiwuxians (view POST) in order to bring together as many A-Yangs as possible >w< and I think it's a fantastic endeavor.

So much so that!!! Consider me! XD I love this poor little meow meow and I can write him any day of the week, but draw??? Terror.

But still, no harm in picking a pen and seeing what happens, hmmm? So, I came up with THIS:

A happy Modern A-Yang very proud of having won the best plushie in the whole fair! (It was a dart aiming stall, but he used a knife and the vendor doesn't have any heart to disqualify him).

Aaaaaaaaaaaannnd, because this fandom is absolutely AMAZING, a great artist whom I admire a whole lot (rhy in twitter) actually helped me crop it to make it suitable for the birthday project, and even coloured it!!! Now it looks amazing! 😍😍😍

So!!! Now I can proudly present my Yangyang for the Birthday Surprise, and if I can do it, so can you!!! A small doodle, a portrait, a sketch, a chibi, a watercolour 3x7 canvas painting... Everything is good, every A-Yang is welcome!

I'm gonna do 8 since it's been a year since I was last tagged on a similar sharing first lines post. All but one are MDZS/songxiao joined by a new fandom, Dead Boy Detectives!
