A/N: Made Masky kind of soft in this… I like it.
The two of you had been riding out this empty interstate for miles, another thirty or so left to go. Thick night air rushed through the cracked windows, the heavy thud of music sounding through the old speakers of the beat up truck.
Masky had been driving the whole time, left hand gripped tightly onto the wheel as you nudged uncomfortably close to his side, his arm wrapped around your back. It was an older model truck without the console, perfect for you to get close to him.
You couldn’t help that you had grown codependent. Every proxy had their bad traits, yours was just slightly more annoying than others.
When The Operator first introduced you to the others, you were stiff, fresh out of whatever hell-hole mental destruction the others had also experienced. It was only normal you resisted the rest of the group at first, they knew you’d come around.
What no one really expected was just how closely you did come around.
It was near obsessive now. You always needed to be touching or holding onto Toby’s clothing, the boy quickly becoming flustered and uncomfortable and moving you onto someone else. Hoodie and Kate didn’t take it well either, grumbling when you asked to hold their sleeves or shoving you off when you crawled too close.
The only one who could really tolerate it was Masky, taking the brunt of your clinginess out of understanding from his own messed-up tendencies. Trauma was no stranger to the man, so if he could offer you some relief from yours when no one did him, he wouldn’t mind it too much.
He was always willing to scoot over in bed to let you crawl in, or wrap yourself in his heavy jacket to ride out a panic attack. The others teased him for being soft, but you knew it was because he understood better than they ever could.
Knees pressed to your chest, you clung to his warmth, the chilly night air blowing your hair due to a lack of available A/C. Masky kept his gaze straight, tired eyes scanning the empty asphalt.
The mission the two of you were coming back from was less than enjoyable, a murder job for a group of college kids writing a report about paranormal activities linked to murders in the area. Just their luck, The Operator didn’t quite appreciate being called ‘paranormal’. They were just unlucky, a bunch of kids too brave and vulnerable deep in the woods. It wasn’t a reach to say both you and Masky didn’t enjoy being tasked with this.
You especially, still coming down from a mild panic attack that the man beside you had to ease you through. You sniffled, his hand rubbing against the side of your arm.
“Doin’ alright?” He glanced down at you, tired gaze meeting your puffy eyes before resuming back on the headlights out front. The engine rumbled, tires rattling against the potholes littered on the road. You were getting closer to the backroad leading to the mansion, the treeline becoming familiar.
Your chest still hurt, and panic still rattled in your mind, but you nodded anyway. Masky still rubbed your arm, your head resting on his shoulder as you took long, labored breaths.
“Sorry…”
“Never had a problem before, why would I start now, mouse?”
That nickname always did it for you too, bringing you back down from whatever hysterics you found yourself in. Masky was just accustomed to taking care of you along with himself now, the extension a second nature to him.
Despite how often you fed into it, you really did feel bad for being so pitiful.
You reached your hand across his chest, wrapping your arms around his neck and hugging him closer. He adjusted, letting his hand rest on the small of your hip and holding you closer. Your nose nudged into the crook of his neck, his smell flooding your senses with that familiar comfort you’d grown to love.
Your interactions had never been sexual, always a comfort for the two of you. But now in the solitude and emotional stir of the night, you couldn’t help the flutters that grew in your gut when Masky’s hand reached further to rub the side of your thigh. His scent was just so nice too, with dried sweat from his overextension earlier thick on his skin. You couldn’t help but push a soft kiss on the underside of his jaw.
You just wanted to thank him for always being so kind.
“Hey, now-” You felt him tense for a moment, glancing down at you as your hands clung to his shirt, trying to pull him impossibly closer.
“Sorry…” You kissed his neck again, taking deep breaths each time to fill your senses with him. Maybe it was toxic, maybe it was codependent, or even obsessive- but you couldn’t help how safe he made you feel. Was it so bad to want him to feel that way too?
He didn’t resist when you let your hand slide down his chest, fisting against the fabric of his shirt as your lips cling to the side of his neck, leaving sickly sweet kisses. He shuddered when your hand dipped to the waistline of his jeans, shifting as his foot settled a little heavier on the accelerator. His hand gripped your waist tight, the knuckles on his other fist turning white while wrapped on the steering wheel.
“Mouse.” He huffed when you let off of his neck, laying your head back on his shoulder. Despite his warning, he watched eagerly when you began to undo his belt, shifting his hips up to give you easier access.
“Let me thank you…”
“For what?”
“Being so nice to me…”
His grasp hugged your hips closer, your fingers fiddling with his zipper and tugging it down. You pushed a hand past the band of his boxers, a quiet gasp leaving his lips when you wrap it around his limp cock.
Your cheeks are flushed, the warmth of your bodies pressed close as you slowly stroke him to life, his length slowly growing in your grasp. You could feel Masky loosen up, his body relaxing into your touch as his gaze constantly flickered from the road to your hand.
“You don’t need to do this, mouse.” He groaned when you rubbed your thumb across his tip, his thigh jerking and stuttering the speed of the truck. The cool air had goosebumps rising across his skin, his now-hard cock pulsing under your fingers.
“I want to.” You whispered, a quiet excitement rushing through you at his willingness. Masky huffed, rubbing against your hip as he tried his best to focus on the road.
Pushing your legs out, you scooted over, his eyes following you as you leaned down to rest against his leg. Pushing his boxers down, you tugged his cock out, the sight making you gasp quietly. You were nervous, but Masky’s hand reaching to push your hair from your face eased you.
You leaned in, hand fisted tight onto the base of his length as you pressed your lips to the divot of his cockhead, letting spit dribble from your lips onto the tip. He groaned above you, right hand collecting your hair and fisting it out of the way.
Giving a gentle kiss against his slick tip, you let your lips part, his head pushing into the warmth of your mouth. You try to take all of him too quickly, pushing your jaw wider to nudge his twitching cock against your tongue.
“Shit.” His fingers tighten in your hair, a gentle nudge pushing you down further and making you choke quietly. He’s immediately tugging you back up, your fingers clinging against the fabric of his jeans as you come up for air.
“Easy, would ‘ya? You ever even done this before?” It didn’t matter, all you knew was you wanted to make him feel good, and that little curse he let out earlier was exactly what you were looking for. You pushed your head back down, taking a deep breath as you wrapped your lips back around his tip.
Masky groaned, letting his hand off the wheel to push his hair back, glancing down at you with heavy eyes. You bob your head lightly, swiping your tongue across the divot of his tip to tug little huffs from the man above you. Eyes fluttering shut, you try to take more each time, relaxing your jaw to push more of his thick cock into the warm wetness of your throat.
You choked a little each time, straining when you felt his tip shove against the roof of your mouth in a way that made Masky twitch inside you. Good, he was enjoying it, it felt good. Slobber builds around your lips, sucking your cheeks in to make his hips stutter and twinge up into your mouth. Tears well on your waterline, little droplets slipping down your cheeks each time.
“Easy. You’re doin’ good. Doin’ real good…”
Your gut fluttered with excitement, pressing your head down all the way till your nose is flush against his pelvis, his pubes tickling the side of your face. You held your eyes closed, trying your best to stay relaxed as you gagged around him, his tip pressed against the tightness of your throat. Even still, he smelled so good.
Masky was moaning, taking shaky breaths as his hips jerked lightly up into you, cock bobbing against the back of your throat. You wanted to be good for him, to make him feel as good as possible, so you stayed, grunting and choking as quietly as you could while bobbing in rhythm with him.
“Fuck, ah- Good, mouse, just like that-”
His cock gleams with your slobber as you slide back up to his tip, running your tongue across his slit to collect the stout taste of his pre. You push back down, taking all of him quickly to pull right back up again, sucking his entire length.
Masky groans loudly, hand fisted tight into your hair and tugging you up and down, taking deep breaths every chance you can get. His praises ring in your ear, keeping you eager to please him as you rub your tongue across the bulging veins running up his length.
It’s so hard for Masky not to look at you, pre and spit collecting sloppily at the corners of your mouth just out of his view, eyes flickering between the beautiful view and the boring road ahead. He huffs, jerking the steering wheel to the side and running the truck onto the edge of the road, pressing the breaks quickly to bring the truck to a stop. You’re jostled, keeping a tight grip on his leg as you keep on with your pace.
Throwing the gear in park, he can finally wrap both of his hands into your hair, leaning back to get a good view of your flushed and teary face swallowing his cock down willingly. He moans through parted lips, shifting his hips to fuck up into your mouth and groaning every time your throat tightened around his tip.
“Oh fuck. Gonna cum, hah- Gonna-”
You let your jaw completely relax, taking restraint away from your neck to let him have control, to let him fuck you how he wants. It’s so sloppy the way your spit glistens down his length, using your swollen mouth as he pleases. And you’re so eager, so willing and pliable for him.
Masky’s moaning out, your eyes rolling back as he pushes your head all the way down, gagging you down onto the entirety of his length.
“Yeah-”
When he cums, you’re trying your best to swallow every drop, puffy lips wrapping tight to drink him up. He hunches over your head, stuttering his hips to milk every drop into your throat as your tears and spit dribble onto the fabric of his jeans.
He’s finally pulling you up when you reach a hand to grip his shirt, hitting your fist against his thigh when you begin to choke for air. Masky tugs you up, wrapping his hands around your cheeks to take a look at you.
You’re flushed, his fingers wiping away your tear soaked cheeks and brushing his thumb over your lips. You lean into his touch, tired eyes fluttering closed as he’s pulling you close and pressing his lips against yours.
You gasp, cupping your hands over his as you just breathe in the moment. It feels like forever when he’s finally pulling away, your tired body taking its comfortable place back against his side as he zips his jeans back up, buckling his belt.
When you start back on the road, Masky’s arm wraps around your back, tugging you closer than before. You smile, leaning your head on his shoulder and breathing him in again. The thud of the music and the familiar bumpy ride ease you both back in.
Maybe you were obsessive, and annoying, and clingy, and even just a little codependent. But Masky had gladly taken you and all of those traits along with him. It was only right that you thank him.
And he’d gladly take that, too.
Thank you for reading!

more word girl HCs bc this blog is going dry 💀
miss question, lady redundant woman, and Leslie have girls nights out, but they always end up where they wake up crawling out of a dumpster, wake up in a Forrest completely barefoot in 60 degree F weather swarmed by deer, makes it back to one of the three’s places, all of them drunk-crying about how much they love a dog they saw earlier, wake up with a new stray dog as a pet, or some other form of ominous nuanced way to end the night out. (You will have the time of your life)
Two brains def goes on long car rides during the summer as the sun sets, blasting 80s songs down the highway, and makes it back some time in the middle of the night (bro absolutely lives for that, he sings along with more passion than a passion fruit or something)
the girlie trio mentioned earlier, all 3 of them are abba girlies, no one can change my mind.
sometimes, the girl trio and two brains will do a mix of their activities, and they ride around and two brains is doing drifts all over the city while all 4 of them are singing whatta man by salt n pepa, at the top of their lungs
Charlie and meatloaf love doing anything involved with a disco party (they are 70s babies for life)
the show starts in august of 1999 and ends in February 2002
Toby sings along to all the Eminem songs, but can’t rap so it sounds more like a mumble
(Partly canon) miss question and Brent later get married and has a kid who is a very curious sandwich
chuck has the pack man maze burnt into his screen from playing it so much
Seymour and granny may are either half siblings, or cousins. (I gotta make them related, their chemistry would be absolutely legendary)
Seymour is OLDDD (at least in his 60s)
two brains knows how to speak mouse and because of this, he basically has the basement of his warehouse (or attic) dedicated to the rats and mice of fair city. (A majority of his friends are mice, he will hang out with some of them and genuinely forget they aren’t human)
due to the amount of trials two brains goes through each time he’s arrested, and sally botsford being the district attorney, two brains and sally actually become really good friends
two brains is actually really good at becoming genuine friends with people’s moms, it’s insane.
Timmy Tim Bo later makes a band where he’s a backup singer/ guitarist, and can do a little drums too.
Hal hardbargain and big left hand guy are both functional alcoholics
beau handsome’s parents are French, and is a victim of child acting.
lady redundant woman becomes a crazy cat lady, and adopts like 30 cats
(A lot of people I’ve seen has this hc, no idea where it originated from, but here we go) amazo guy’s name is Adam, and he definitely had a pet golden retriever
on the topic of that, I like to think he also is from lexicon, and he’s wordgirl’s biological father or uncle, and Steven’s original friendship with word girl was asked from amazo guy to try and get closer to his daughter/neice, but they all basically became the bestest of friends (and wordgirl looked up to both amazo and Steven very much)
I also feel like amazo (or Adam ) genuinely loves fighting crime, and basically is like Superman in fair city
fair city is either located in New Jersey or California
Steven’s sister is named Marcy, and his niece is named Maggie (called mags tho)
squeaky was genetically modified and his brain was basically originally fused with a psycho’s brain where it’s basically a human thinking mouse with mouse like tendencies, before Steven bought him, which is why he was on sale (for negative 200$)
The butcher would be girl dad of the year
when Steven is really angry (once in a life time) he does the Italian 🤌 thing, and he grew up in Brooklyn NY
due to him growing up in New York, two brains was certainly most pissed when 9/11 happened out of the villains
chuck grew up in Boston before his family moved to fair city about 7 years prior to the show
idk if I have previously said any of these in an earlier post, so sorry if I have lmao 💀

TWD 11x16 “Acts of God” Review
Anyone who reads my blog knows I have very strong feelings about Leah’s arc, and even though I accepted a long time ago I wouldn’t be getting my way, seeing it finally confirmed onscreen puts me in a salty mood. Now, because fandom seems to create this dichotomy between positivity and negativity, I want to make it very clear that I am well within my right to voice my frustrations without changing my overall outlook on what’s to come for Daryl and Carol. The way I see it, this episode is just another example of Angela Kang making a fast grab of the lowest hanging fruit, but I still trust her to make Caryl canon in the final block of the series because of the small albeit important beats between them thus far and of course the knowledge that 11C is the final stretch before they ride off to their highly-anticipated spinoff.
Of all the controversial characters on the show, Leah sticks out because of the giant pipe wrench she throws in our understanding of Daryl’s character. We all had to scramble to reconstruct him after “Find Me” aired, and though I maintain he still only has one woman in his heart evidenced by the physical and emotional parallels between Leah and Carol in both the past and present, there are some dents. The biggest one for me is Daryl’s capacity for intimacy. Now don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the hell out of the visual subtlety. I did not need a magnifying glass on whatever Daryl and Leah got up to in the bedroom, but what I did need was some kind of acknowledgement that it would’ve been a struggle for him. That way, we honor all of the effort over the last ten seasons to distinguish him from the typical virile hero while also juxtaposing the awkwardness with the far more mature relationship between Daryl and Carol. Having glossed over it, Kang unfortunately eradicates a major quality that always made Daryl special to me, and with it the opportunity to see how he grows out of it.
Some say the damage was done once Leah was introduced and the only solution was to erase her from the narrative as quickly as possible so we could erase her from our memories. I completely disagree with that approach. Storytelling 101 dictates that if you’re going to send the audience into an uproar, then the payoff better be damn worth it. And it could’ve been. Considering she came into the story as Daryl’s love interest, considering *that’s* what got the majority of his fans riled up, Leah had the potential to be pivotal for Daryl’s love life going forward. After proving she’s hopelessly broken, she could’ve been the catalyst for Daryl finally confessing his feelings for the woman who isn’t. That opportunity was missed in 11A, and you know what? That’s forgivable. Chalk it up to it being too early to pull that trigger (no pun intended).
But see, storytelling 101 also dictates that if you’re going to expand a widely-hated character’s arc beyond its natural ending point, then that too has to be damn worth it. If the protagonists and the audience for that matter aren’t going to get anything more or different out of it, then why not just let Maggie and Daryl end her in “No Other Way?” Why not just use trained assassin Toby Carlson as a plot device for Lance to gain power over the communities, which would have felt far more organic than him conveniently tracking Leah down?
Instead of adhering to the emotional tension between Daryl and Leah, and Carol by way of her starring role in Daryl’s life, we fall victim to the contrived plot set up in 11A, where Maggie seeks revenge on the Reapers and Leah by mere association, thus establishing grounds for Leah to seek her revenge on Maggie. The mirroring between them doesn’t run any deeper than that. Yet, we have to sit through this cat and mouse game between them, repetitive of “No Other Way” to the point of Maggie shooting Leah again, until they end up back at Leah’s cabin – a place that means absolutely nothing to Maggie.
Maggie herself has become somewhat of a polarizing character, the reasons for which I’m not about to get into here. Like her or not, it’s impossible to deny her character is the centerpiece of season 11 with a far more substantial story than the show’s top two billed actors, though of course Daryl still gets a huge amount of screentime. Sadly it’s not a good story in my opinion, particularly her subplot with Negan which has basically been one long stalemate up until the scene in this episode where she admits she’s starting to trust him because he saved Hershel at the apartment complex. I feel like I have to suspend some disbelief to make that make sense emotionally, but the point is, the favoritism is there.
Let’s get one thing straight. It isn’t lost on me that Maggie’s “promotion” was probably a hard-won battle for Lauren Cohan. I don’t resent her for standing up for herself and wanting more for the character she’s put years into fleshing out. What’s inexcusable is Kang and co thinking that accommodating her (or rather trying and failing to do so) means minimizing another character, namely Carol, who has been a *consistent* part of the story since season 1, who played the most integral role in the show’s top-rated episodes like “The Grove” and “No Sanctuary,” and therefore has fully earned her spot as the leading lady.
Melissa McBride can do a lot with very little because she is just that talented, but to Carol fans, it is still disheartening that the woman who can single-handedly save everybody’s asses in five minutes has become the woman who wrangles horses, fetches wine, and basically just plays sidekick to whoever she’s with while any exciting action or crucial emotional beats all take place offscreen. For example, taking out a room full of walkers with Mercer in order to save Daryl and Rosita literally happens behind closed doors. The guilt from trapping Connie in the cave, the guilt that plagued her (and us) for nearly twenty episodes was resolved in the subtext of her quick little exchange with Connie in “For Blood” and her observation of Daryl’s and Connie’s reunion. The acknowledgement that her best friend has had to come head to head with an ex-girlfriend he blamed himself for losing is…well, non-existent despite the demands of emotional realism.
The argument could be made that Carol herself wants to stick to the sidelines after the trouble she caused during the whisperer war, and that’s fair to a certain degree. There does come a point though when it reads like TPTB are merely punishing her for poor audience reception to her arc last season, and that is absolutely not fair. Especially considering a large portion of that audience carries misogynistic and ageist viewpoints. If anything Carol should be getting *more* screentime to show how she is recovering from her lowest point, to remind us why we love her and why we should empathize with her.
Daryl has been there for Carol through all of her biggest challenges, if not during the time they occur then after the fact, and Carol always reciprocates, so why that pattern is suddenly being broken with Leah, I can’t quite put my finger on. What I can say is Daryl makes his allegiance crystal clear from beginning to end this episode with no room for second guessing. He, Aaron, and Gabriel know the Commonwealth, or at least those operating under Lance, are the enemy. They initiate a gun fight with the soldiers and then after finding Leah’s camp and her discarded bracelet, split up to track her down. Emotionally, Daryl’s rescue plays out the way it easily could have and to some level did at the end of the Reaper arc. Seeing his friend Maggie wrestling with Leah who’s about to drive a knife into her chest forces him to accept that through no fault of his own, Leah simply cannot be saved. Earlier in the episode, Maggie tells Hershel that everything she does is so they have choices and I think that applies to Daryl’s predicament with Leah. Shooting her in the head isn’t a difficult choice, perhaps not a choice at all, but it frees him to choose the future that he wants, which we know will be with Carol eventually.
“Choices” as a running theme is juxtaposed with “acts of god” symbolized by the locusts to show how each of the characters are taking control of their own lives. Daryl does so by fighting against the Commonwealth and Leah, both of which represent things that at one point or another controlled him. So it stands to reason that with this new consciousness of having power over himself, we will see him actively pursue what he really wants. Intrinsically, that means we should not be seeing anymore “hints” towards a certain other pairing. Though it was hard to tell at the time, I’m now convinced the look Daryl gives Connie in “New Haunts” is functioning alone as the “bait” before the inevitable “switch” that Daryl is finally primed to deliver. With Carol convinced that he has feelings for Connie after witnessing their reunion and that look, she’s justified in bringing it up again, but this time, Daryl will have to shut it down in the spirit of not accepting any alternative courses in his life that others try to push on him.
For the record, I do find the removal of Connie’s agency in her own relationship status somewhat problematic, but I’m glad she’s taking charge elsewhere. Helping her friends expose Pamela Milton’s corruption is a bold move that I imagine will have severe consequences, most likely leading to eventual arrests. Connie writes the article, but a lot of other characters are doing their part including Kelly, Eugene, Ezekiel, Magna, and Max who steals the files from Pamela’s office.
How much of a role Pamela actually plays in the mass disappearances is still murky, though for the most part it seems like her biggest crime is continuing to hold elitist values. While Pamela rejects a scholarship fund in favor of financially supporting Founders Day, Lance is going behind her back to seize control of the communities and when Leah fails him, ends up capturing all of the Oceanside residents. We see him constantly flipping his coin, establishing himself as the decider of fate, like a god or force of nature. The ugly graze on his face from Daryl’s bullet emphasizes the monster that now lives on the outside. He can no longer mask how dangerous he is and since the show dropped the ball with Leah and Carol, I hope Carol at least gets the honor of taking him out.
I don’t think I’m only speaking for myself when I say season 11 has been quite disappointing so far. Minimal Caryl/Carol definitely spells disaster in my book. As far as Leah goes, I tried to give the show the benefit of the doubt and though I do still find value in the implicit connections to Carol, I think I’m ready to just forget about her now. While I hoped for a bigger takeaway overall, I personally don’t feel like I’m going into the hiatus with nothing. Daryl’s and Carol’s suffering relationship has been woven into the fabric of their story. We’re shown how much they’re struggling to fix things with each other, but more importantly, we’re shown how much they miss each other and how badly they *want* to fix things. They’ve been set up to finally do that in 11C and I am very excited to see that play out.
People are asking me why I still trust Kang and the answer is simple. I can see the bigger picture. The ending in store doesn’t work unless we build up to it first. Maggie and some of the smaller characters have had time to shine this season, but it seems like a lot has been resolved for them. Eugene is in a stable relationship with Max, Ezekiel is cured of his cancer, even the Maggie and Negan tension seems to have shifted, leading me to believe Caryl will be the final block’s top priority. There’s plenty of filming evidence to back that up even if we can’t say for sure what their story will entail. I’m going to do in-depth character arc breakdowns to better articulate where I think Daryl and Carol are headed next, but for now friends, I must rest. It’s been a grueling eight weeks, and to be honest I’m relieved to get a break from all the drama. At least all the buzz and late nights will be worth it when we get to 11C. I feel it in my bones. Have faith. Or don’t. That’s your prerogative.

Comfort one-shot reader x creepy pastas (Slenderman, Jeff, Toby, E.J, BEN, Sally, Masky, Hoodie, Jane and L.J.)
Inspired by: The living tombstone
You woke to excessive yelling, turning over and pushing the pillow over your face groaning. The voice got louder and you felt a pair of hands shake you awake, throwing the pillow at them you found that it was Toby. He let out an abrupt gasp and continued to jump around the hotel room. You understood why he was so excited, it was the first day of your trip to Disney world after all.
I know it seems unconventional but you had managed to convince slender to let you guys go. Obviously it was on Halloween weekend, the only time they could go into the parks without being questioned for their looks. That day you would all be going to Epcot.
Masky was probably the most excited about that park even though he had an expressionless face on the ride there. He had been so against going, at least it seemed like it. But you saw him putting ciggarates in a fanny pack when getting ready to leave.
Smiling fondly at the memory you got up and dressed. After breakfast you all drove to the park, seeing the Halloween decorations in orange and black with the shapes of Mickey Mouse. You groaned at the bickering going on in the third row of seats with Jeff and E.J, who was trying to convince Jeff to leave his knife in the car.
“They’ll stop you at security” you called back to him.
“I can hide it” he protested.
“Jeff they have literal metal detectors” E.J rebutted.
“What if I put it in my pants” he said smartly.
“NO” you yelled. After a death glare and a small tug of war between him and E.J he left it. He walked at the back of the group, slumping with his hands in his hoodie pocket. At the entrance the whole crowd was met with “oohs” and compliments about your “costumes”.
There was so much to do, but Hoodie (secretly Masky too) and BEN wanted to go to Spaceship earth. They were all so amazed on how there was a ride inside of the Epcot ball.
“It’s an XXL golf ball” BEN kept saying, convinced that there was nothing inside. There wasn’t much wait but since you were all a big crowd it took a bit to get in. Slender had the hardest time getting in the cart, he had to crouch excessively to fit. You rode with BEN, who was really excited at first because he thought there was going to be a drop but it turned out bore him. He thought it was going too slow, and so he had the bright idea to tamper with the manuals. “Time to spice things up” he said rubbing his hands maliciously. At one point all the carts started spinning, he lifted his hands and “wheeed”. You could hear Sally yelling from the back with Slender holding her in the seat since there was no restraints. At the end he scolded Ben, rushing him out of there as the cast members apologized for the inexplicable inconvenience.
He came out of there with a proud grin, cackling as he pointed out the dumbfounded face E.J made in the picture and the one with Jeff with his tongue out. The smiling killer joined him, watching Toby spin from the dizziness- it was pretty funny though.
Slender admired the late October scenery until Sally pulled him into a stand and graced him with a Mickey Mouse hat. Jeff was yet another unfortunate victim of Sally’s plan, wearing the mickey ears that had a pastel veil. BEN was throwing fits of giggles at this, but you knew Jeff was fucking insecure so you put on ears along with Sally.
The first country you stopped at was Mexico, where you went inside the pyramid. Jeff traded his ears for a big Mexican hat, Ben too. They played with the maracas while Toby, Sally and Hoodie went into the glass shop. It was a recipe for disaster, but you followed regardless. Sally tried on every. Single. Princess crown while Toby looked at the glass pieces a bit too closely. He started ticking while holding one, even though the sign said not to touch them. It flew across the store and collided with a whole other shelf, all of them broke and he started apologizing furiously as Slender messed the employees’ mind to make him forget about the accident.
He had to pull Toby out of the store and drag him to the boat ride, you patted him on the back daringly as he had the guiltiest look. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea for slender to go on the boat ride, he was far too tall and had to bend his knees to look like a grasshopper while Sally smiled and sung along with the cartoon characters. When you got off you could hear Slender mumbling something about his back.
Norway didn’t have much to do but Sally begged to go on the Elsa ride, Hoodie accompanied her happily. Toby as well, but he was really enthusiastic about the songs- he knew all of them. Him and Sally harmonized during the chorus for “let it go”. Since there were a shit ton of little kids there L.J was about to combust. Surprisingly he stayed super silent with occasional grumbles, making mental notes for when he got out of the park. He had to ditch the group to shop for Candy, which he found in China.
Jane was absolutely fascinated with the Zodiac garden there, watching the beautiful plants in the morning sun. Masky tried to relax by watching the show inside the pavillion but Toby caught up to him. He really couldn’t sit still and Masky had to scold him for sitting on the rail he wasn’t supposed to sit on. After, you found E.J playing with Sally with the marionettes and BEN with a cup of Boba. He seemed to be enjoying it- a lot. It was the funniest thing to watch him suck up all the tapioca stuck in the ice, his cheeks got super red and you couldn’t help but let out a laugh.
Jeff was gladly giving Toby his Mickey Mouse ears. In the afternoon you moved to Italy, where L.J was getting complimented for his “stilts”. There wasn’t much to do in Germany or America so you guys went to Japan. Laughing Jack was a lost cause, going straight for the candy while Jeff was mesmerized by the samurai swords. He was looking around to see if he could steal one, but how in the world would he hide that- definitely not in his pants. You caught on quick.
“Just ONE” he pleaded with you as you pulled him away from the glass. “Don’t do this to meeee” he screeched at you like a starved man asking for food.
Trying to throw hands and hit you while you grasped onto his hoodie. You managed to bring him with you as you walked out of the store. Passing by Masky who was trying to get away from Toby- he was fanning masky with those big fans. Jeff sat sourly as you ordered food, a stressed Masky came soon after. He was glad to have some quiet from the ruckus outside, enjoying a meal with you. When he was done he went outside to have a smoke from his fanny pack.
Going back to the store with Jeff on a tight leash AWAY from the swords you found Sally playing with the plushies and L.J taking packs and packs of candy. You stood and stared at him as he loaded up on the strawberry gummies. “What?” He deadpanned as a few fell down from his pile. You just laughed and helped him hold some of them, putting them in your backpack and walking out of the store because- y’all are criminals, and you steal.
It was now late afternoon, and you only had a few countries left to complete the full round of the park. Toby got lost in France, you all spent about twenty minutes looking for him and apparently Slender too who disappeared soon after. Then out of some room came one of them.
“where where you?” Jane asked.
Slender stepped forward “at the show, there were some magnificent castles and I think I’ll have to visit. Maybe even take ideas for house redecoration” he nodded.
Then out of nowhere appeared a cast member holding the hand of one shaking Toby, whose eyes were puffy and cheeks red. “Did you lose this little boy” she asked slender, he shook his head yes and gave a sigh.
The lady was in absolute awe of the group, especially daddy dilf slender. “How IS it that you see through that mask” she mused, taking slender’s head in her hands even though he was super tall. Her mouth was open as she pulled him super close to observe his (non-existent) face. BEN was snickering and you looked back and forth to see slender pretty flustered at the lady’s proximity.
“Leave him alone” Jane smacked BEN behind his head and took him by the ear. You followed them to the U.K. She threw him in one of the phone booths and held the door so he couldn’t escape. You could hear him complain from inside “let me outttt” he said muffled. Jeff caught up and went into the one on the opposite side, playing with the buttons on the dial. When Slender came back he took out a Camera to snap pictures of BEN and Jeff. You stood to the side while he did, obviously both of them didn’t notice. They were pretty candid and when they saw what was happening they ran out of there, only to have their spaces replaced with Sally and E.J, who had to pose with her for the picture.
The sun was starting to set and you guys only had a couple things left to do, one of which Jeff almost exploded in wait for. He wanted to try test track so bad, the line was gruesome and he tapped his foot impatiently in wait. BEN kept tampering with the car parts on display, making doors open and lights flash in boredom. Toby waited outside with Slender because he had anxiety around going too fast in a car and possibly reliving trauma. Jeff, on the other hand, was so excited when it was finally time to go on. He let you sit next to him in the front with BEN in the back. The ride was entertaining sure but the best part was probably Jeff’s face at the end. The car went so fast that Jeff’s cheeks were pushed back with the wind, stretching out his carved smile and flapping as he waved his hands in the air.
Then when it ended he wanted to steal one of the cars from the display.
“I can turn it on and take the safety off” BEN tuned in cheekily.
“Yessss” Jeff said with a fist pump, “which one should we get?” He asked.
“The red one” BEN decided.
“Guys nonononon” you tried complaining but they were dedicated.
“Stop complaining” BEN said, distracting you while Jeff snuck up on you from behind. Covering your mouth with his hand and restraining your arms with another “This is for not letting me take that knife”.
Picking you up and throwing you in the backseat of the car before revving the engine. With tears of joy in your eyes you saw Slender appear in the rear mirror of the car, tendrils waving around in fury. If BEN wasn’t dead yet he would definetly be now, Jeff turned paler than usual. Thank goodness he saw what was going on. They were about to drive off in one of those Toyotas- forget about mass murder, they were about to commit grand theft auto.
Next was the Nemo ride, but BEN was absolutely petrified of being near water so he waited outside with Slender-who very much could not fit in that shell car as much as he tried. Sally really liked it, she went with Toby and you went with Jane. Masky and Hoodie went together. Needless to say all of you enjoyed it very much, and the aquarium after was great too. Jane sat where she could watch the Dolphins and you could hear Toby and Sally’s footsteps running around from tank to tank.
“Do you think Slender will let me take a shark home?” He asked Masky, who told him no. But when they were outside Toby went straight to Slender. “Can I take a pet home?” He pleaded. Slender gave him a strict no but Toby continued to beg, “how about a seahorse?”, “not even a starfish?”. He got shot down but quickly recovered when you guys went to Soarin.
All of them- they loved flying. Even through it was just a ride, it was exhilarating. Passing through the sea and waterfalls, even the castles where Slender would have smiled at (if he had a mouth). Toby yelled like a mother fucker the whole time, luckily Masky was sitting next to you and hoodie- away from earshot. Jeff got the bad end of his shouting, making a face like he was about to murder poor Toby. But the brunette was so distracted by the lights and scenery he didn’t notice. E.J was pretty fascinated too, the height scared him a bit- he was used to being on the ground. Then you all shared some food from the cafeteria and went outside to watch the light show from Canada.
It was such a nice moment, with the sun already set and a hazy glow lingering in the air. You took a deep breath in, the ambiance felt like something unreal. The Epcot ball was illuminated by purplish lights in the background and across the lake you could see all the countries monuments lined with white lights. Slender had Sally on his shoulders so she could take in the view. It made you so happy to be with all of them in an instance like this. You looked back to find L.J eating his candy. With BEN and Hoodie next to you, Masky was leaning on the railing with his elbows next to E.J. and Toby was about to fall asleep. He got pretty startled when the fireworks started, but Sally’s eyes lit up with happiness. She cheered as you watched the group, it was such a kindling time with them. You couldn’t wait for the next day of the trip.

I had three dreams that were amazing
I had a dream awhile back that I was a chosen knight (okay I was the Troll hunter) and I had to go to these woods to stop someone from destroying it. I had Blinkus and Toby and Clare, but Clare was just a really good friend like Toby, also Jim was there but he was like barely there. Anyways, we get there and there was a weird circular ancient slab in the middle. It was huge, and had markings on it and circle parts where it was deep, small ones where a human could maybe fit. It looked like a UFO marking from corn, but ancient and in stone. Anyways, if you looked closely there is also stairs on the side that leads to an underground cave that's well lit by the shining rock and probably magic. It is mostly a maze to the other side of the stairs, but there are rooms among the twists and turns.
Blinkus warned us that we needed to be quiet, and that a wizard lives in these woods, but not a good one. she has killed many troll hunters before and I needed to stay vigilant. She was exiled by Madras the many, but it must have worn out or something cause now she's back (she's the one we need to stop). When he was explaining to stay low, we must find her before she finds us, I started to glow! It was yellow and it was more like an orb was surrounding me. I was picked up, and flew through the forest. My back was turned from where I was going, I couldnt see where I was only the shrinking Blinkus yelling "VOLAN!" holding out his hand. I knew it was the witch. I stopped but from the momentum I fell. When I got up, I heard someone say
"Finally, you've taken so long I though you weren't coming!" She picked me up with the glowing thing again, this time red and swirling around my torso, and I see her. She was wearing a black dress with green highlights in it. She had a matching green scarf draped across her shoulders, and honestly she was hot. I was brought closer and closer till we were nose to nose, I was struggling but honestly I stopped when I started to focus on her. then she said
"My little knight" I was tense, mostly cause shoot, I have to fight her? She's so beautiful, I don't really want to slay her... Also HOLY FRICK SHE'S BEAUTIFUL WHY AM I SO CLOSE AHHH! I opened my mouth, hesitated, then asked
"W-what do you mean 'my'?" She went to answer but looked behind me, her face became angry. Blinkus, Claire, and Jim were there (Toby was running in the background but never came) she kept me where I was, but she moved behind me to face them. I started to struggle again to see what will happen, but nothing worked.
"Put down the Trollhunter, witch! She's not for you!" Blinkus proclaimed.
"Trolls, always getting in the way of love. like your kind has ever felt love! We were made for each other, you know." She said, turning me towards her and putting her hand on my face, then stroking my hair. I was red hot too, I was gay panicking! I started mumbling trying to object but I was so nervous words wouldn't form. It felt like the red swirly thing was holding my arms now. I heard her whisper 'so cute' when I closed my eyes, I opened them and felt a small bump on my nose.
"Put Volan down! She doesn’t want you, isn’t it obvious?” Claire yelled, which was dumb it was obvious that I was gay panicking. Yeah it could mean I don’t want it but I’m pretty sure I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.
She turned her head to look at Claire, I tried to but my neck wouldn’t turn. She floated over to Claire.
“As if they want you? My dear, you are quite pretty but I’d leave you for the men to greet.” She swung me around and hovered me near the ground. close to Claire. “Do you want her, or me?” She asked, putting her arms around my shoulders and gently touching my chin.
“U-uhm... I-uh...” I think in the dream I was liked Claire in that way but she was straight, so I respected that, but she seemed genuinely upset that I was hesitant to say something for some reason.
“I get it, you’re stuck. Here, I’ll give you some time then you can give your answer. Although, I’ll be picking you up for more persuasion.” when she said that, she got super close and kissed my cheek. I was as red as a Coke-a-cola by then. She dropped me (I was only about a foot from the ground) and I fell. I touched my cheek then she left.
Blinkus and Claire both picked me up and I was still flustered.
"I guess you didn't get to the part where I am supposed to spend eternity with the witch I'm supposed to kill?" I asked, looking at blinky. He seemed to ignore that and asked if I was okay.
"Yeah, I'm fine. What are we gonna do?"
"Well you're not gonna marry her, that's for sure." Claire replied, she was still mad for some reason. Like? She wasn't even in to me she doesn't need to be like that. Anyways we go into the stair case and I guess it's our base. we think of a plan to outrun her, but its risky so nothing can go wrong. It's time to slay her.
I ran out of the stair-cave thing, looking around and was very cautious. I here her saying "I'm coming little knight" In an echoing voice. And this giant white and black wolf comes through the forest, she riding on the back. I freak out and start running away, barely able to though because that thing is HUGE and FAST. It slows down right next to me and I stop, defeated. She comes off and reaches for my face, to take off the glamour mask. I was Toby (I think) she screamed in a fit of rage, throwing the mask down.
"Where is she?!" She said lifting Toby up.
"Not here, that's for sure." He says, smiling. She throws him down and climbs onto the wolf.
The camera (I guess?) Floats over to me, who's hiding in the hole things on the stone. Her magic can't detect me in there I guess. But, I see a family of squirrels that are trying to climb up a tree but can't, so I leave it to help them. That was a bad mistake, because she came running after me! I run towards the stair case and dive down it, rolled and then start bookin' it down the hallways. She was close behind, her wolf shrinking to try and fit, but she left it eventually. I was getting stuck, getting hit by rocks, and was falling down other holes I didn't see. She sent a ripple through the rocks and I fell down another stair case, landing in a dead end. There was a blue River that lit the small room, and some moss growing on the sides of the rocks.
I dragged myself onto some rocks and turned to face her, she was standing staring at me and I was laying down with blood coming out of my side and head. I lifted my sword in one last defense but she tossed it aside.
"W-what are you gonna do to me" I asked, shaking from fear and tiredness. She kneeled down beside me and gently placed her hand on my head, whispered 'this' and then kissed me on the lips.
I didn't struggle, mostly cause I couldn't, but also because I didn't feel the need to. But as she was kissing me, I felt nothing. No pain, no blood coming out, no broken bones, nothing! I felt newer, in a way. She leaned back and asked:
"Feel better?" I shook my head yes, I didn't even realized her other hand not occupying my face, was clasped by my hand. She said something else but I think a fainted, and then woke up (still in the dream) to a room with rock walls. I was laying in a bed with a white T-shirt on and some sweat pants. She walked in and was joyed to see me awake.
"Oh good I'm glad you're back! Would you like some coffee?" She had a tray with a cup of coffee and biscuits. I hesitantly accepted, but then she looked worried.
"You're about to leave again. But that's fine! You'll come back soon right?" She smiled.
"Uhm, I don't know, maybe?" I said.
"I'll miss you, sweety. See you in your dreams!" She kissed me one final time, and then I woke up in my bed room.
The other dream! Isn't as long I swear.
I opened my eyes and we were in an obstacle course thing. I looked down and she was tapping my hand. This time, she had a white shirt with green overalls and a Luigi hat, I had the same thing except red and Mario hat.
"I've been waiting forever for you to come back!" She said, smiling and kissing my cheek.
"We're gonna play Mario! Isn't this gonna be fun for our first date?" She pulled me to the first part, and explained how to get through. I was able to, but it was pretty hard. She seemed like she did this before, it was a lot of fun though. I don't remember much, we mostly did obstacles and laughed a lot. She was really nice too! Claire and Toby weren't there, Jim was and he had purple overalls and a Waluigi hat. When we met the end she turned to me and said:
“this was a great first date. I'll see you again soon! You gotta go now." She kissed me on the lips and waved goodbye, and I woke up in my room, not wanting to get up again.
Third dream! This one’s a long one, too. But super magical!
This time I opened my eyes and we were walking to an opera House. We were holding hands, and she was wearing a dark green Victorian dress, and she had purple hair instead of black (but honestly it was nearly black).
“you’re going to love this show! I used to watch it when I was younger. Have you seen it?” she asked, turning to me.
“No, I don’t think I have. What’s it about?” I looked down to see what I was wearing, it was a red Victorian dress with pink highlights.
“You’ll have to see for yourself.” She answered, swinging herself in front of me and kissing me on the lips (she does that lot and I always get so flustered after but I LOVE IT AHH). So we walk into the opera and it looks more like a giant movie theater, but there is magic everywhere. Here’s the part that makes me think that this is a multiniverse, and I CANNOT MAKE THIS UP she turns to me again and asks
“I understand in your world you don’t have magic! So I thought I would surprise you.” AND THE BIGGEST SMILE ON HER FACE SHE WAS SO CUTE I was standing there in awe (from her cuteness but also because h o l y frick) there was tiny airplanes flying around with drinks on their wings with a little mouse on the nose asking if you wanted a beverage, and they were wearing little tuxedos and some had those fancy mustaches and it was adorable! There was blimps too that would serve food, the big round part would open up and whatever you ordered was automatically in it. This time it was a hummingbird with a thin velvet dress. She ordered us a drink and an ice cream, but the ice cream was shaped like a snowman and the toppings was the eyes and the coat was caramel and chocolate! It was really cool and never melted, and the drink tasted like how flowers smelled. I got a rose drink, and she got a lily. She let me try hers, and they both tasted so good! We shared the ice cream, it was really big. We sat down to watch the show, and there was just a gaping hole where the stage was supposed to be. I asked why and she laughed.
“How else will they preform? Wait, how do they do it in your world?” and so I explained that we have stages, and she looked so confused, and I was confused. We were both completely confused! I started to chuckle, trying to explain, and then she started to laugh, and it was such a nice moment. Finally the show started, so we quiet down. All of the sudden, a grass field covered the gaping hole, then trees and bushes grew out of the ground. It was huge, like a small forest. People came running from behind the trees and started dancing, it was just really magical. they were dressed like fairies, y’know those dresses, and the dance was wonderful.
After the play (? I think) She brought us back to meet the dancers and they were really cool. One asked if I dance and I told them I do (cause I do) and they asked if I could dance for them, but I was super nervous. What they danced was so good I don’t think I could impress them at all! I think my gf noticed I was worried and placed her hands on my shoulders in a reassuring way, nodding as if she knew what I was thinking. So I said yes! They played a song, I closed my eyes, and started to preform a dance I’ve never preformed before but was in the back of my head whenever I heard it. They played Once Upon a December and I killed it! I hit every move (btw I changed before this, I was in a flowing red dance dress this time) and it was exactly how I’d imagine it. I knew however, that this wouldn’t impress them. I was mistaken! Because they cheered! My gf clapped with awe on her face, and it felt really weird. I never liked applause for me, I never thought I deserve an applause when I get one, but her face turned reassuring again, making me know that I deserved this applause.
We started to say goodbye to the dancers, I stayed in the dance dress, and We sneaked into a dance room to talk, it was really loud out there suddenly.
“How did you like the play?” She asked, her dress changing into a similar dress as mine, just purple this time.
“It was so cool! we’ll have to see more like that.” I answered, still in awe that I managed to dance in front of professional dancers.
“Would you like to be in one?” She questioned, taking my hand and leaning a little forward. She was a little shorter than me, although the first two times she was definitely taller than me. I guess it changes, because her height changes again later on.
“Uhm, that would be so cool! But do you really think I could do that?”
“Of course you can! You wanna go in one now? I made the arrangements!” My. Jaw. Dropped! We were going to be in front of thousands dancing? Me and my literal dream girlfriend? SIGN. ME. UP!
We moved to the side of the hole, right outside there were seats upon seats filled with people, and we were about to dance in front of them. This time we were wearing a big fluffy coat with our respected colors (red and green) and a fairy skirt. We had mittens on, and we looked like we were about to ice skate, which we were. On a giant snowball coming from the hole. It was like being in Super Mario Galaxy on the giant Mario head, except a perfect ball! We ditched the ice skates after awhile and just danced together, and then we separated for a bit to do our own thing, and then came back together like in tangled, and she kissed me on the lips, and told me our times up, everyone applauded,then... I woke up, with the biggest grin on my face.
That was all from my gf from today, 4/8/2020, but she is the best thing from my quarantine. If she comes back I’ll tell you! the hashtag (if i have more) will be #Magic_dream_girlfriend idk it’s in the tags. But now I can say I’m taken???

COUNT CLAUS
It was decades ago when I was ten And it was a time for good will towards men It was Christmas time, the cream of the crop Time for lighting contests, dressing up pine trees and grown ups to shop For the year's most popular of knick knacks and toys For their angelic little girls and mischievous little boys There was Toby the Teddy that talked and did hand stands
A rubber action figure, Sam Stretch that stretches and expands
There was Miss Penelope Perfect with a make up set and brush
A giant mutant lizard monster that spit up slime and mush
And a Baby Poops Too Much for little cousin Jane
For dear Johnny, a noisy remote control flying saucer sure to drive mom and dad insane
And what did I want that year, I wasn't quite certain Perhaps some dinosaur mittens or a cowboy curtain But there was one thing set in the stone I would be up all night Christmas Eve, curious and alone To get a glimpse of the big man in red With the big fuzzy cloud beard upon his huge round head I would watch him put the presents under the tree And laugh and smile with utmost glee He would eat every cookie and drink all the milk And put on his black gloves made of smooth silk And then with a finger nicely placed aside his nose He would stand upright on all ten toes And up the chimney he would fly like smoke He's in pretty good shape for an old folk
I couldn't wait, to get a glimpse of Santa Claus And all I had to do was listen closely for reindeer paws
So, as you would imagine, it was the night before Christmas when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, except for my pet mouse
The stockings all hung by the fireplace with care There was a holiday snow globe and a festively dressed teddy bear And I on the couch with my jammies and cap Was drinking lots of coffee to make sure I wouldn't take a nap When out in the front yard, there arose such a clatter I sprang from the couch to see what was the matter Away to the front door I flew like the Flash Whipped it right open and looked past the trash The fog was hovering over the hard, frozen snow And there was no lustre of midday from the moon to show When what to my anxious eyes did appear But a weird looking sleigh and nine, fanged bats instead of reindeer With a caped, terrifying driver so UNDEAD and sick I wondered to myself, WAS THIS REALLY SAINT NICK?
More rapid than werewolves his monsters they came And he hissed and shouted and called them by name Now Ripper Now Dripper Now Sucker and Spewer On Killer On Crippler On Stoker and Skewer To the top of the house, to the top of the wall Now flap away flap away flap away all And when the coursers landed on the roof The dreaded vampire Claus transformed into a bat with one single POOF As I shut the door and hid behind the armchair Down the chimney St. Nicholas flew, ashes flying into the air He turned back into a human with red eyes and sharp teeth And he had a candy walking cane and a large collar instead of a wreath
His cape how it fluttered, his glare how scary He seemed to hover around which made me quite wary His sharp fangs dripped gooey blood onto his belly It looked as if he just consumed somebody’s brain jelly He was spooky and plump, a right wicked old elf And I gasped when I saw him, in spite of myself A blink of his glowing eyes and a 360 spin of his head Soon gave me a feeling of terror and tremendous dread He spoke not a word and went straight to his work And filled all the stockings, the big blood sucking jerk And laying his finger aside of his nose He turned back into a bat and up the chimney he rose
He flew to his sleigh, to his bats gave a whistle And away they all flew like a nuclear missile And I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight Merry Christmas to all, and to All a Good Night!
And I said to myself, was I hearing that right?
How could such a terrible monster make people giddy He should be out scaring trick or treaters on Halloween, he’s ghastly and gritty He’s nothing like the Santa Claus I always dreamed In his sight, people probably hid under their beds and screamed So in those hours after Dracula Claus had gone I devised a plan well into dawn I would wait until next year, when the present delivery would start And when he comes back, I would stake Count Claus straight in the heart
Yet again, it was the night before Christmas when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, except for the pet mouse There were no stockings, no snow globe, no Christmas tree by the chair I anxiously waited until Count Claus was there And when he arrived, I flew to the fireplace And prepared to strike Count Claus square in the face He flapped down the chimney, a bat yet again And I readied my sharp, limited edition silver pen When to my surprise, Count Claus transformed into a beast And looked at me like I would be his midnight Christmas feast He had several eyes and claws like a crab And he waved his tentacles around me like he was ready to grab
I cried and I shrieked like a big, slobbering baby Until I heard a soft voice, like a small bird in a tree Count Claus was back to normal and he wasn’t as scary His fanged mouth formed a smile and he put his arm around me He said, Dear little Toddy McFaggletrodder, I mean you no harm I know I look like I would bite off your arm I know I look like I came straight from the grave But I’m actually that kindly Claus you’ve always known, the one all people rave I’m just a vampire, forced to come out at night For if I came out during the day, I would crumble to dust in the bright light That’s why I stay up high at the North Pole It’s pitch black and dark as coal To protect me until Christmas comes again So I can continue to spread good cheer among God’s great men
And with those words, I was no longer afraid Count Claus would surely be something I would no longer evade And as Claus put his presents upon the floor He asked me if I’d like to go on a little tour He would take me along on his long winter trip And I would ride on his grand bat pulled ship I couldn’t wait, it was like the Christmas specials on TV I wondered and wondered about all the fantastic things I would see And we flew away, all around the world The sleigh was like a roller coaster that looped and swirled We visited house after house, through the thick winter sauce And surprisingly, Count Claus didn’t flee at the sight of a cross He feared no garlic, no grains of rice No bibles, no holy water, no wolfsbane spice He gave the children their presents, his ultimate goal And when he was finished, he took me to the North Pole Because it was pitch black, it was hard to see But the glowing nose of Rudolph the Bat led the way for me
And we entered Count Claus’ grand toy making castle Without any hustle, bustle or hassle
And again, what did my wondering eyes should appear But thousands of strange looking elves with one single eye, so clear They still had pointy ears and tiny Christmas hats They were busy making toy soldiers and silver baseball bats And their voices, how high pitched, how squeaky, how merry Their yellow ears so flappy, their toes so hairy
Then Count Claus showed me all his machines The Great Toy Spaceship-O-Matic, a thingamajig that made tambourines A gingerbread house maker, a firetruck snapper A Susie doll head plopper, a frisbee clapper There was a gizmo that made multi colored toy snails And a conveyer belt that made toy chainsaws, hatchets and nails Last but not least was the great Wind-Up Toy constructor And an elf named Morty was the controller, the conductor There were wind up toys of elephants, kangaroos and soldiers There were even wind up cowboy boots and cup holders I saw a guy in a car, a juggling clown, an alien invader Why, there was even a wind up kung fu alligator
We met some of Claus’ comrades, Credence was first He was a critter with a Christmas ball head and drank cocoa to quench his thirst
A gingerbread giant that almost hit the ceiling
The Insectoid Candlehead, dripping hot wax and squealing
And like a haunted house at Halloween There was even a floating present poltergeist, a bright red and green
The North Pole’s first line of defense, a battalion of nutcrackers
They stood prominently and were led by General McKlackors!
Outside on the white, slushy snow so delicious Was a talking snowman the elves called Aloysius
He told me a story about the fateful Christmas Eve When the presents were stolen by a furry green fellow, I couldn’t believe He told me a skeleton kidnapped Santa one night And trapped him in a crypt where he received that fateful vampire bite As the tour continued, I bid Aloysius goodbye He had a warm heart for such a frosty guy And with a bit of magic, Santa gave life to his long walking cane He was tall with a mustache and was named Cain
Cain Charine was the Count’s most prized assistant When he checked Claus’ naughty and nice list, he was quite persistent He had a bit of an accent and kept all the elves in line He knew just what toy making duty to assign He got up and waved his long rubbery arms And tried to amuse me with his humorous charms And after awhile, Claus turned him back into his walking stick I’m sure if Count Claus ate him, he would become very sick
Then we went back outside, walked towards a forest, so bright Was the forest on fire, I feared, not quite It was a beautiful, stunning moment to cease When we saw the entire forest full of glowing Christmas trees The lights were so bright I thought I’d go blind And the reds, the blues, the greens, so defined They glimmered and glistened like burning night stars And the stars on top glowed like headlights on cars It was like a grand Christmas dream, it would never be forgotten But little did I know something would come along, something very, very rotten When we least expected it, it hit us like a knife When one of the glowing trees suddenly came to LIFE
It was an alien from a gleaming Christmas star Bringing terror and tyranny from afar He had 5 eyes, more than a spider And long, tendril arms and a prickly trunk, much wider
He was ready to pounce and devour us like cookies But we would defeat him, we were brave rookies He chased us, far up the snowy mountain Far past the fruitcake valley and down the eggnog fountain He chased us down the slope of drippy chocolate balls And into the great, sticky rock candy halls Count Claus whipped out some tinsel and a large red sack And tied the creature up, than I covered him up and pushed him on his back We drug him back to the castle and put him in the freezer He was frosty, a frozen tree, cold hearted like Ebenezer And we put him right in the middle of the hall So all the elves and critters could admire him, they could all have a ball It was an odd Christmas, like one I never had And now that I am old, I tell this story to you my lad In hopes that you will one day have a similar adventure to endure Because, right now, at this moment, Count Claus is at the door Have a good time, say hello to the elves To the magical toys upon the shelves And beware strange aliens disguised as Christmas trees For they might devour you like strings of cheese It’s Christmas time, a time for excitement, over and under And who said vampires can’t spread cheer and wonder
MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM DERRICK ZURN’S MOON OF TOONS!

June 2019
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.”
A (very) sunny day in London. Seeing a seal in the Thames, right under the Tower Bridge. Walking through St. James’s Park, eating ice-cream. Taking a beautiful picture of Laura in Covent Garden. Finally getting out of the underground. A tiny rainbow reflection in the sky over Greenwich.
Playing badminton in the evening with Frank. Sitting by the river, making new friends (duckies).
Micha. Meeting in Thalkirchen after I had just seen a half dead mouse. Walking along the river, finding a nice spot across from the zoo with a bunch of musical hippies playing the drums on the other bank. We got drunk on Toro Loco and Grasovka in ice hockey cups until he kissed me in the middle of a sentence. It took quite a while until I noticed I was just kissing my first man with a tongue piercing. At some point I re-erected a knocked over portable toilet (does drunk me have superhuman powers?) and we walked to the subway together. Such a gentle weirdo.
Making breakfast for someone other than me. Sharing an apple. Eating out of the same bowl.
IKEA has veggie hot dogs now. Excellent. I also got a new cutting board. And that’s ALL I got. I’m virtually patting myself on the shoulder right now.
Christoph and Lauren’s wedding was pretty chill. We squeezed into a car, went up a very steep hill to attend the ceremony and spent the rest of the day around a camp fire drinking gin and tonics or dancing to very bad music. I loved getting to know Michael’s boyfriend of 4 years. I always received gay vibes from him… good to know that my gaydar isn’t broken.
Taking polaroid pictures in the beautiful afternoon light. I also loved Christian’s outtakes of the theme music quiz. One of them honestly looks as if I’d just won a beauty pageant - we have a host, two ladies with jealous side glances and me, all excited, open mouth, in front of the mic, waiting for her tiara…
Spending a few hours in my mum’s garden. Doing dangerous yoga exercises in the grass. Walking barefoot. Marveling at the lush roses everywhere. Watching a blackbird taking a bath under the cherry tree. Very entertaining.
I want to learn Spanish and this video gives me hope - apparently I can heavily rely on my French vocabulary.
Why the men I like usually look the same.
Hanging out with Martina, Tobi and Diego the dog at the Thalkirchen campsite. Watching the rafts go by (horrible music), driving them home with their car right before the apocalyptic thunderstorm.
The perfect dessert: berries or peaches with fresh cream. The perfect dinner: Truffle pasta.
The concept of eclecticism.
Spending the afternoon with Franzi at Maria Einsiedel. Meeting baby Elise for the first time. Hopping into the Eiskanal, turning my body into a freezer for five minutes. Eating tiny lemon ice-cream and galia melon.
Meeting Catrin and Andreas at Brillengalerie in Altheim. Really good cappuccino (he’s an optician AND a latte artist). I loved trying on those gorgeous glasses and talking to Catrin about the Latte Art championships and rude customers.
Our trip to the Bavarian Forest to make a cake tree for the wedding. We visited Lena’s uncle who turned a tree trunk into a three-tiered cake stand with his chainsaw. We helped. I really want to get a chainsaw license now.
Once again: roses. They are incredibly lush this year. I don’t know why exactly but climate change seems to have one tiny upside.
Drawing. Portrait practice. Filling my sketchbook from idee. Polychromos coloured pencils.
Using Instagram’s story feature for the first time. I love editing pictures and adding gifs and colours. Immature and tacky but fun.
Looking trough old analogue pictures. Finding lots of my dad looking like the perfect Millennial. 90s fashion really IS back. I still loathe fanny packs though.
I found someone who’s coming to India with me!! I’m going to travel with Bibi this summer. So excited!
Unfortunately: the Solitaire app on my phone. Unhealthy obsession. You know you’ve got a problem when you’re getting REALLY good…
The smell of dill pickles reminds evokes vivid memories of my grandma. She used to make them herself, in heavy stoneware next to the wash room in the cellar.
Spending the evening with Bibi at Kulturdachgarten (having Ginger Spritz as a sundowner in the late afternoon sun), eating Israeli mezze at NANA in Haidhausen and seeing Rocketman at Rio cinema. My colleague works there so we got discount tickets and free ice-cream. Taron Egerton is a fabulous actor. If I had to describe the film in one word it’d be flamboyant. Also, I’d have loved to be the costume designer for this.
Iglo veggie love frozen meals. With Hela curry ketchup. Nom.
Extremely cute new rockery plants (who will have to do with regular potting soil I’m afraid).
Meeting Andre at Thalkirchen. Spending the evening on an Isar gravel bank, drinking the beer Martina brought from Croatia. Joining the… eh, what’s the Mile High Club for people who prefer water to air travel? Catching the last train home. Taking dinky photobooth pictures because we still had ten minutes to spare. That fake photo strip makes me happy instantly whenever I look at it.
Getting better at asking for what I want.
The character Moe in the Netflix series Trinkets. To me, she’s so much more attractive than Tabitha. And I love her attitude. And her hookup in episode seven. What a pretty man.
Manu making me realise how much I look like my dad. “At least jawwise!”
Spending the evening with Tom. Pre-theatre Spritz, Melancholia at Kammerspiele, Isar-beer near Müllersches Volksbad. Talking about our insights and issues.
It’s fascinating to see the lupin in front of my balcony door open it’s blossoms gradually from bottom to top. This plant has such an interesting structure and geometry.
Salad season. Somehow I only like salads in the summer but then I eat them passionately. With strawberries, Black Forest tofu, peaches, blueberries, mangoes, olives. Those nice, firm Roma tomatoes you only get during the summer months. I made a huge bowl of Tabouleh the other day and had it for breakfast, lunch an dinner.
Going home in the morning, smelling of another person.
Booking flights to India. 5 weeks. I’ve never been gone for so long and then I chose India of all places… I feel a mild panic attack coming but I’m also super excited.
Artificial cherry flavour.
A day trip with Lexi. She brought crisps and a fun Mexican dice game which we played on the train. Spending the whole afternoon soaking in the warm water at Therme Bad Aibling. Discovering the amazing acoustics in the various domes. Making a new duckie friend. Weird mirror selfies with hairdryers. Dinner at a Bavarian restaurant in Rosenheim. Teaching le Sash some obscure Bavarian words.
The word obscure, come to think of it. Uncanny is a close second.
Jupiter being so bright in the night sky. I always notice it first as soon as it’s dark.
Librarians are secretly the funnest people alive.
So many things, really. I’m feeling quite happy at the moment. My only problem is that I keep gaining weight. Somehow enjoying myself is adverse to the strict regime I need in order to stay perfectly healthy.
Random things: Schweppes Fruity citrus and orange lemonade. Tomato sandwiches with fresh basil on olive ciabatta. That squirrel running over the garage roof in the morning. Dreaming of ferry rides through US rivers. And intercourse with a panther. The Garner Ambre Soleil natural bronzer spray with coconut oil. Nice colour, good smell, minimal chipmunk effect. And of course me regular Garnier sun oil. It’s the bottled essence of summer.
Filling in for someone in the Natural 20s pub quiz team. Being invited to a pen and paper round with feline characters only. Meeting Sophia who, I realised later, played Rosencrantz (or Guildenstern?) at Entity Theatre’s production of Hamlet last year.
My complete and utter obsession with Phil Collins’ version of You Can’t Hurry Love. I think it’s going to be my next karaoke song.
A desire and drive to be creative. Making collages out of dried leftover paint. Drawing on the window panes. Getting out gouache, pastel chalks, oil pastels, those weird 3-in-1 coloured pencils which create such a nice texture. Drawing first thing in the morning. Spending hours drawing owls for the coffee roasters. Using coloured pencils to draw portraits of all the cool girls of Instagram.
Oh, speaking of art. I don’t want to jinx it but I might get the chance to write a book soon! I met an editor who works at a publishing house for lifestyle books and needs someone to make a book about portrait drawing/painting for her. So. Excited. They’re also looking for a trainee in the graphic design department. I really hope I get to collaborate with them in one way or another.
Cute summer outfits. Good colour combinations. Accessorizing. Wearing pretty clothes with a creative twist. Actually putting some thought into putting together an outfit can be a lot of fun. After all it’s just another way of making a collage.
Polarized sunglasses providing me with the bluest skies and rainbow-tinted tram windows.
The Croatian man who sat down next to a visibly pregnant Bavarian woman on the subway and started telling her about his daughter Persephone and the abduction myth connected with her. I keep reading and hearing about Demeter and Persephone lately, for example about Baubo and the vulva presentations / Demeter worship.
Carmen Rohrbach’s Unterwegs sein ist mein Leben. I was very impressed by how much she has seen and experienced. How much she knows about nature and animals. I mean, she’s a biologist, too. Reading this book made my days a little more special because it gave me a sense of how much more there is to discover on this planet.
Eating vegan ice-cream (pumpkin seed and ginger-turmeric) with Micha. Sitting on the balustrade in front of the Art Academy. Staring into these insanely pretty blue eyes all the time. Looking for the toilets, roaming through the hallways. I love the architecture of that building.
A ladybug escaping the subway train through an open door. Freedom!
I love how the characters resemble each other so much in the different generations in the TV-series Dark. Uncanny. And they feature very nice colour contrasts, too. I guess I like their production designer / cinematographer.
Late-night Isar strolls. Drinking red wine, lying down, watching the stars surrounded by fireflies! (which are quite rare where I live so I was lucky - the strangest thing is that I had drawn a firefly into my sketchbook earlier that day, feels like I manifested it)
Tollwood gin and tonics, forgetting to go home, ending up in a gay club at 3am. Nice Thursday.
Making up for the lack of sleep on Friday afternoon. Waking up late. Releasing my inner Julia Child at 2am by making sushi rolls, taboulé and Bergsteigerbrot, something like super tasty vegan granola bars with lots of nuts and honey.
A little bike tour with Frank along the river. Pseudo-meditating on a log, eating some snacks I brought. Floating with the current. His alliterations (“further fodder for future followers”).

Orange Crate Art: Psychedelia and melodic noise from Sweden
Orange Crate Art is the musical project of Toby, from Malmö, Sweden. he has produced some quality ‘Hallucinatory music since 1995’.
He just released his new LP, Astral Lullabies on the Threshold, which he was very kind to us the Premiere. Thanks Toby.
And he was even kinder in giving us a glance in his music and himself in the following interview.
His music work to date is as follows:
2019: Astral Lullabies on the Threshold, LP; Song for Celluloid Babylon: The Visionary Photographs of William Mortensen in the Silent Film Era (Original Soundtrack), Single
2018: Microscopic Liquid Subway to Oblivion , LP; Inside Out: The Art of Susan Te Kahurangi King (Original Soundtrack), LP;
2017: Quantum Distortion in Empty Space, LP; The Exegesis of Matt Marello (Original Soundtrack), LP; Circular Rays of Infinity Cells, EP
2016: Extraordinary Gradations of Mauve, LP; In a Sea of Crystal Radiance, EP; The Tibetan Year of the Dead, EP
2015: oca EP, 2015; ehs EP #1; Italian futurism, LP; ehs EP #2; ehs EP #3; ehs EP #4; Exploding head syndrome, LP
What is your music about?
Nothing in particular. It's more a state of... being in between states. Like hypnagogia. Trance-like and somewhere else, but with a physical presence. Even though the songs might have choruses and verses and vocals etc. Not comparing OCA to painters like Heron or Rothko, but.
I see quite a similarity between what I do and abstract impressionism, or painters like the above. What I put into the music is usually very to the point but the actual output, the expression, tends to come out as kind of blurry, see-through, or geometrical shapes in layers with blurred outlines. So what's it all about, when you sort it out... Alfie?
Once something is released, I have no say, but hopefully, the music can draw the listeners into a rewarding musical experience that they can define for themselves.
What are your goals as an artist artistically/commercially?
I don't really have any commercial goals. It's not a career. It's not an intentional anti-approach, I just don't think like that. I would love if the income from OCA could pay the rent and food, but I don't see it coming. Once something is recorded, I'm already working on the next thing. It's always about the next record. I'm making soundtracks for my friend and director Brian Chidester in New York, and ultimately, I'd like to make a living out of making music for film and television, but... I don't dream about it.
Since everything I do is DIY and on a small budget, I have gone the digital release route, but the plan is still to release/reissue everything on vinyl. These days, I'm more open to releasing music on other labels. I'm going to give Somewhere Cold something, for example, and that will probably come out on CD too.
I have a huge backlog of unreleased albums and EP dating back to 1995s. Most of these recordings will come out one day, so one of the rules I try to follow is to finish old stuff before recording new material. On the other hand, I really love the immediacy of recording something today and releasing it tomorrow. The "OCA" and "Tibetan Year of the Dead" EPs were recorded and released within the space of a few weeks.
The album I'm finishing right now is fairly new, recorded right after the Matt Marello documentary soundtrack in August/September 2017. The idea was to make a more song-based version of the soundtrack. It evolved into a gentle folk-psych collection of songs. Mantras and cosmic lullabies. The vocals are always record last, and I didn't get around to record them until February/March this year. I'd say the record is a bit more accessible . Less noise, more focused.
Who would you want as a dream producer, and why?
I have never thought of anybody else producing my music, so not really sure. It'd would have been interesting to have worked with Gary Usher around the time of his first Sagitarrius album and The Byrds' "Notorious..." album. His productions are so experimental and crisp sounding.
On a similar but different sounding note, Curt Boettcher. He'd put his usual Ballroom cast of vocalists on my tracks, which would've been lovely. Have you heard the Bobby Jameson record Curt produced in 1967? Those background harmonies by him, Michelle O'Malley and others..! And his work with tape delay, reverse reverb, Chamberlin, oboe and tremolo guitar on a lot of his backing tracks... he's a huge influence on OCA. I have a song called "In the Direction of the Non-Believer" which is sonically sort of a mix of a 1997-era Kevin Shields-remix and the album Curt did with Tommy Roe. A bit of Arthur Lee in the middle-eight but the rest of the music was kind of like that Tommy Roe album, with Boettcher-ish backwards tambourine and more.
As for current producers, it'd be interesting to see what somebody like Tim Hecker would do with an OCA record. It would end up radically different to everything I've done so far.
But generally, I will more than likely continue to produce my own stuff, but in the future, I'll probably hand the mastering over to a professional mastering engineer. And I'm always open to collaborations with other artists or musicians.
What are you trying to avoid as a band?
I don't think I'm trying to avoid anything. I just do it, like Nike footwear. I might not have their swoosh, though. Generally, I think it's better to try something than to avoid it.
Explain your songwriting process.
It used to be fairly traditional. Writing songs on the guitar and, later, the keyboard. These days, the process is more like people in electronica and film scoring: the writing and recording process is the same. One method I use a lot is to just press record and begin writing the song as it is being recorded. That's one reason why many of my songs change key so often... the songs just take off in their own directions.
I tend to mix a song right from the start, for every track I add, so it's continually molded into the final product. I usually mix into the two-bus, ie. I let EQ, compression, tape saturation etc colour the recording from the get go, rather than adding everything to the final mix. That essentially comes from the dance or electronic music world. Traditional rock engineers would probably disapprove. Again, it's maybe a bit like painting. I work really fast. Apart from the vocals, 90% of any released record is what was recorded in the first hour or two.
Why do you make the music you make? Is it in you? Is it your environment?
I have no idea why I make it. I just do it, and have done since I was a kid. It's an inner experience, but we're all connected to the cosmos.
Describe your palette of sound.
This is like the moment when John Lennon wanted a track to sound like an orange and George Martin was like "ok... I'll try to make it sound like an orange" :-) My bandmates would probably agree that I'm not that good at explaining what I want. I can be very precise for myself, but that's just the input into the music. Explaining the output to others is very hard, because everybody has their own idea of what X or Y is. Essentially, like any other artist, it's not my job to define what I do. It's up to the listener.
But from a more technical point of view, or in terms of arrangements, I have an anything goes attitude. I'll use whatever I have around me. Generally speaking, I do tend to come back to the same sets of arrangements. Usually one or two guitar, two bass guitars (one fuzz, one clean), organ and drums. I usually go for Vox or Fender Tweed amp tones, maybe a Mellotron, maybe a tack piano, sometimes brass, a lot of flute actually... for the soundtracks, it all depends on what the director wants and I try to translate it into music.
The guitars I use the most: a J Mascis Jazzmaster, a Squire Jaguar with Curtis Novak vintage pickups, one of those really cheap Danelectro guitars and a Danelectro electric 12-string guitar. I also have different acoustic guitars, and about one hundred effect pedals. Mostly fuzz and overdrive, but also several envelope filters, delays, tremolos, etc. I used to collect Devi Ever pedals and I use them a lot. Lately, I've come back to Boss pedals. Their overdrive pedals are so warm and musical.
If you could guest on someone else’s album , who would it be and why? What would you play?
I would probably play the guitar, my J Mascis Jazzmaster, which sounds three times as good as it costs. Can't actually think of a specific artist, sorry... maybe one of the newer London free jazz groups, or somebody who makes pure abstract or electronic music. Tim Hecker, hello? :-) What musical skills would you like to acquire or get better at?
Playing in time :-)
Which other musician/artist would you date?
Yoko Ono.
Is there a band that if they didn’t exist you wouldn’t be making the music you make?
Sure. OCA would sound radically different without My Bloody Valentine, Stereolab, High Llamas, Mouse on Mars, and many others.
You’re from Sweden, what are the advantages and disavantages?
Of the country? Politically, I'm Old Labour, so I'm completely lost in today's landscape with morons on all sides of the political spectrum. The new left might have good intentions but the road leads directly to neo-liberalism. I guess living in this country has influenced me to check out of current times, musically. Being painfully aware of reality and choosing the inner, cosmic musical experience.
Musically, we've always been more international than local, attracting pockets of listeners all around the world. I love looking at the streaming statistics and see people from South America, Asia, the States, mainland Europe... it's like the Stereolab scene in the late '90s. Always international, with bands like Mouse on Mars in Germany, Tortoise in the States, Cornelius in Japan, and so on. I don't really see any particular advantages living here, as an artist. Being a 20 minute train ride away from Copenhagen makes a huge difference, though.
