Chapter one: Changes 

This au is the Wild Kratts Guardianship au by @littlecrittereli

The idea is that their is a bigger age gap between Martin and Chris (About 9 or so years apart) and Martin as legal Guardianship after Chris at a young age after they parent passed away (Think Lilo and Nani) I hope you like the first Chapter

Chris remembers that day well, he couldn’t forget if he tried. He remembers the teacher writing on the board talking about fractions. He remembers how bored he was because he knew this all and could do this in his sleep if he wanted. He remembers the teacher’s phone suddenly ringing causing everyone around him to jumping in surprise. But the part he remembers the most is the expression on his teachers face when she turned to Chris in terror like someone had died…

And it turned out someone did die.

The rest is just moments of him and his older brother coming back from Uni early (he was supposed to be back that summer break to hang out) them crying and holding each other. The fighting and shouting matches between Martin and their other relatives over him. The sudden change of moving to a super small one bedroom apartment with his brother. The meals going from warm and comforting to salty and small. 

But the worst change was Martin and himself. He could remember when his brother would read to him the animal picture books and would show him how a pather would leap into the air to catch its prey. It was so much fun being the wild cat’s hunting down its prey and how he would tackle his bro in their little make believe game. 

Now Martin would come home exhausted only to head over to the only expensive thing they owned, the laptop and work on his online studies. Chris now walked to and from school all on his own, coming to an empty apartment instead of the big house that felt like home then here, sitting on the floor and starting his homework on the tiny coffee table next to the second hand couch they owned. When he finished doing the little chorus he had and eating his dinner (if Martin remembered to make it). 

Then there was Lauren. At first Chris didn’t know who she was but he did know she was always coming to the apartment and she asked a lot of the same questions over and over again. She was sickly sweet around him but very short with Martin. Maybe they were dating? He had seen shows where the girlfriends were always mad at their boyfriends for some reason he couldn’t understand. But when he overheard some of his classmates talking about a CSP and what that meant with a quick bit of research, he finally knew who Lauren really was.

And that now he really didn’t like Lauren.

This life became the new normal for Chris. When he reached the ripe old age of 12 was when the fights happened. Chris couldn’t understand why he was so angry. I mean he could but more specifically he didn’t know why he was mad at Martin. It was like the littlest corny joke that came out of the older blonde's mouth was like it was directed at him like it was his fault or something.

By the time he became 14 was when his life changed again when Martin got an email from someone with an opportunity that would change both of their lives forever.

Aviva looked at the message over and over. Yes? Yes. Yes!! She did it! She got the grant for their research. She couldn’t believe it she couldn’t wait to tell Martin… oh, wait Martin. She felt her excitement turn cold in an instant.

Martin wouldn’t be able to go because of his younger brother. No, she couldn’t do this without him. It was their research, it was their project. If it wasn’t for him she wouldn’t have gotten the idea for doing this in the first place. 

It was her first day at uni. She was confident that she would excel in the classes. That wasn’t her problem, it was the fact that she didn’t think she would make any friends. After what happened in space camp she didn’t she ever would again. Zach had shattered her faith in people after the utter betrayal of stealing her technology for himself. Now he owned his own company selling the bots that she originally made. Though their ai was a little off before she could fit their code to learn how to interpret turn of phrase instead of taking them literally which made her happy a little. but , still she was at rock bottom again and needed a new angle and new hook to start inventing something that could help … someone, something? 

She hated this so much. She knew better than to put her eggs in one basket but she did anyway and look where it got her. In a classroom of over nine hundred students learning things she learned years ago. 

“Psst? Hey,”

She heard a voice coming from behind her. Turning to see a guy in a blue sweatshirt looking at her.

“Yes, can I help you?” She asked deadpan.

“I know this is gonna sound really cliche but I forgot my pen and was wondering…” Before he even finished his sentence she had produced a pen out of almost thin air handing it to him. 

“Oh my gosh you’re a lifesaver. Thank you.”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever.” She exasperated turning back around.

“I’m Martin” and a hand stretched out from the left of her face caused her to wip back around.

“huh? Aviva.” She said unsure of how to interact in this situation. She now gave the guy a better look at him. He was all smiles and started talking about something she wasn’t really paying attention. It was a bad habit she was trying to break. What she did catch was he wanted to be a Zoologist to travel around the world with his little brother when he grows a bit (if he wanted to cause he was only 8 right now). He talked about all the creatures that he liked (Mostly aquatic variety) It reminded her of a golden retriever which made her smile a bit, but then the next thing he said was what started this whole new road she would take not just by herself as she’d thought but with her new friends, no her new family.

“Imagine if you could have the abilities of these awesome creatures.”

Hide & Seek references compendium

I put so many little easter eggs and hidden things in my Hide and Seek fic, so here is my little ongoing list of references I purposefully put in the fic for those of you who like this kind of thing idk man

Chapter 1, Disney's Hercules: "Hey, Mack! Ya wanna buy a sundial?" Disney's Jungle Cruise: “Trader Sam’s! Come shop at Trader Sam’s! He’ll give you a great deal on shrunken heads! Two of his heads for one of yours!” the Holmes Hotel, Hugh's Pies is a reference to Nickelodeon's Jimmy Neutron series, Lilo's Stitches and Embroidery is a nod to Disney's Lilo and Stitch, "Crusty the Crab" is a nod to Spongebob Squarepants, Chell's Portal Stop is a reference to the game series Portal, and the final scene is from the ROTTMNT episode "Hidden City's Most Wanted".

Though this is not technically a reference or Easter egg, I wanted to add this note… I made a point of referring to Splinter as Lou Jitsu when he was mad or angry or selfish, and as Hamato Yoshi when he was scared or sad.

Chapter 2, Leo's determination to have Raph call him "the world's greatest ninja" is a reference to the film, Leo's quote "Land safely!" is taken from the episode "Mystic Mayhem" as well as the episode "The Evil League of Mutants", Leo's complaining to be leader is a nod to his future role, Raph referring to his father as a "sewer monster" is a reference to the episode "Man vs. Sewer", Splinter has a flashback from the episode "Goyles, Goyles, Goyles" and the line "OW! Why, you little--!" is also taken from that same episode.

Chapter 3, Mikey's dream is obviously a nod to all that he will do in the future.

Chapter 4, The origin of Lace Face from the episode "Man vs. Sewer".

Chapter 5, Phineas and Ferb "Escape from Phineas Tower": "That's some mole!" The line "Raph! Your enormous body is crushing me!!” is a reference to Disney's Lilo and Stitch, "sweater town" is a reference to the Gravity Falls episode "The Hand that Rocks the Mabel", the line "I didn't want to believe it, but... *sigh* science." is taken directly from the ROTTMNT film as well as a moment when Leo mentions that Donnie was wrong, Donnie uses two really's, a reference from the episode "Breaking Purple", Donnie gives Leo the comic seen in the episode "Jupiter Jim Ahoy!"

Chapter 6, Splinter's tv flips through several channels which include clips from media. These include a Thomas Sanders vine with "Weatherman Al", the quote "My leg!" from Spongebob Squarepants, part of the Fairly Odd Parents' theme song, Mrs. Cuddles' catchphrase "Let's be friends forever!", "I've got bad feeling about this" is a quote from Star Wars, the fake show about "Goosey" is an easter egg to @gooeseyleo and her Gooseyleo series. When Leo goes onstage, he does "a few improvised dance moves", which is a nod to Ben Schwartz and some dance moves he did in the Netflix improv comedy special "Middleditch and Schwartz”. The Lou Jitsu play the boys perform is a parody of the Godzilla franchise and the Pacific Rim films. Donnie's line "I strive for accuracy" is a reference to @sleepis4theweak 's comic (which I think about every gosh darn day), Horsebot-3000 and Splinter's line "I liked Horsebot-3000" are references to the show Community, season 3 episode 7: "Studies in Modern Movement".

Chapter 7, in the illustration Leo and Donnie are wearing Transformer and Decepticon t-shirts, respectively, and in the background you can see spray paint that spells out "Atomic Lass", as well as a drawing of the turtles' weapons.

Chapter 8, a young BEBOP AND ROCKSTEADY make an appearance, as does a very young Harvey Hokum from the ROTTMNT comics. When Bebop tries to sell Leo, he calls him “Shelly”, a reference to my pet turtle of the same name. In the illustration you can see a goldfish on the shelf, which is meant to be Piebald.

Chapter 9, How It's Made, APRIL O'NEIIIIILLLL, Harvey Hokum, Warren Stone and Kendra are referenced, "Operation Blue Suede Shoes" contains the title of a song, a reference to how in the show there are several similar code-names used for the characters ("Purple Rain" for Donnie, "Yellow Submarine" for April, etc.) Leo says that Mikey has empathy amplified, a reference to the fanfiction of the same name written by @filsa-mek on AO3.

Chapter 10, the boys watch "Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit". Leo promises to never leave Raphael alone and to always find him. Raph offers several scenarios that actually happen in the future where Leo searches for Raph - sewer monsters (a reference to the episode Man Vs. Sewer), getting captured by bad guys (the episode Bug Busters), and aliens attacking (the events of the film). The chapter as a whole is also based off of a few sketches I made - one of which shows the boys watching the film with Splinter, and one where Raph has a bad dream and wakes up to seeing he hurt Leo, who offers to help and gets the bros together for a turtle pile.

Chapter 11, the episode is heavily inspired by an episode of the audio drama series Adventures in Odyssey, specifically the episode "Mandy's Debut". The line "Wow, the shortcake of death" is a reference taken from said same episode! During Leo's flashback, a reference to the meme "She knocked that smug look off my face, but fourtunately I had a smaller smug look underneath" when Leo takes off his sunglasses to reveal a cooler pair of sunglasses underneath. Leo and Raph make a note to the fact that Leo is not the eldest in this universe.

Chapter 12, Raph, Leo, and Mikey teach April a game they play in the episode "Late Fee". When using sign language, Donnie tells Leo to "Stop yelling at me", which is inspired by a moment in Spy Kids 4. April introduces Raph to Ghostbear's starting career. Mikey repeats a line from the episode "Bug Busters", which is "Remind me not to ask questions anymore." Mikey uses the phrase "hydrate or die-drate", which is taken from a meme but is also something I say constantly as well. When in the Hidden City, Splinter hears people calling out to customers, one uses the lyrics to the Fairly Odd Parents' theme song, another is selling Mary Poppins' umbrella, a third is selling the three mystery journals from Gravity Falls, the fourth is selling Cinderella's glass slippers, and the last one is selling the Stanley Parable bucket of reassurance. Ochimizu is a Japanese mythical elixir of eternal life. The introduction and origins of Loathsome Leonard and the Mud Dogs. Malicious Mickey uses the "creepy doctor" line from "Stuck on You".

Chapter 13, Donnie delirium is directly based off of my own experiences with delirium, as well as his and Leo's conversation about whether or not Leo would miss him when he dies (which was an actual conversation I had with my mother when I was sick with croup as a little girl). The second half of that conversation was adapted from a scrapped fic called "The Kids Are All Dying". Donnie references the song "Big Yellow Taxi". The seven-tailed fox comes from Japanese folklore, but specifically this one was a reference to Naruto! Mikey sings the first line of the "Wonderfilled" song by Owl City. The secret ingredient being a discontinued soda was inspired by the ending of the musical "Be More Chill". The toad yokai becomes Heinous Green.

Short story, in the illustration you can see several signatures and sketches on Leo's cast, such as Raph signing "Mad Dawgs" and Mikey drawing his stickers. On the wall behind Leo is an eye exam that has the words "RISE" and "PHOEBE" on it. There's also a computer monitor in the back with Leo's vitals on it, as well as a notification about the trackers, and a list of all Hamatos Donnie tagged.

CG Raiden w/ Regressor Fujin Hcs

☁️ Raiden is one of Fujin's go to caregivers

☁️ It was actually through Fujin that Raiden found out that he really liked watching regressors (he's such a good cg, fr 🥺)

⛈️ Raiden has this sixth sense that tells him if someone around him is tiny or not

☁️ Although it's also pretty easy to tell if Fujin is little or not

⛈️ Regressed Fujin is either a tiny menace, or the sweetest kid alive

☁️ Like, he'll never do something intentionally naughty

⛈️ But Raiden said no more sweets? It'd be a shame if that cup right there were to slowly make its way to the edge

☁️ Doesn't actually push it off though, he'll grt super close and then giggle and run away when Raiden gets up to stop him

⛈️ However, the cup did fall and break one time and Fujin felt terrible for accidentally hurting it

☁️ He didn't mean to!! Seriously!! He was just trying to have fun, he never meant to break it

⛈️ Luckily Raiden knew it was just an accident and cleaned up the small mess, gently explaining to Fujin that thats why we shouldn't push cups

☁️ Nowadays Fujin only does the cup push with a sippy or bottle, things he knows he can't break

⛈️ Most times Fujin listens to the rules and Raiden doesn't have the biggest bugger on his hands (that's Liu Kang's and Kung Lao's job anyhow-)

☁️ You know that scene in Lilo and Stitch b where Stitch puts on some laundry and pranced around like a superhero until Nani catches him with a disappointed face?

⛈️ ^ That's them, specifically when Fujin's pulling a prank

☁️ Fujin hides behind Raiden a lot while he's small

⛈️ Whether he's actually nervous about being small in front of someone

☁️ Or he's hiding from the grumpy monks after he made their not super important but a bit important papers fly

⛈️ Raiden got mad and lectured for it, because he's a big meanie >:(

☁️ Raiden isn't a strict cg, but he's definitely stern on certain things

⛈️ When he says no, it means no, and no amount of whining or begging can change his mind

☁️ Usually Fujin doesn't fuss much when Raiden says no, a small pout but he quickly gets over it

⛈️ Fujins actually really good at following any rules they've set, and Raiden will get him treats for being good sometimes

☁️ Fujin is a very cuddly, very clingy regressor

⛈️ Cuddles, snuggles, all that jazz

☁️ Raidens a bit more stuff when it comes to giving and receiving physical affection

⛈️ The most he usually gives are shoulder squeezes and maybe a small head pat

☁️ So the first few times Fujin clings to his arm or snuggles up against his side, Raiden doesn't exactly know what to do

⛈️ Don't worry, overtime he gets better and Fujin gets to use him like the 7 ft Teddy bear he is

☁️ Fujin adores playing outside, and Raiden kinda just follows closely behind him

⛈️ He'll let Fujin climb trees, but only lower branches, and he has to be nearby

☁️ One of their favorite activities together is blowing bubbles

⛈️ But that I mean that Raiden will blow bubbles, and Fujin will run around trying to pop them all

☁️ He gets a bit fussy when some bubbles go up a bit too high for him to pop, but will quickly get distracted by new bubbles

⛈️ Fujin is more of a softer regressor, sometimes being depicted as smaller even though he's like, 6, not 3

☁️ Raidens really good at treating Fujin like his age, but also accommodating to what Fujin wants

⛈️ Yes, six year olds can use baby bottles and anyone who says otherwise will get Raiden's wrath (after he comforts the highly upset Fujin)

☁️ Fujin usually likes more healthier options, but one of his favorite things to munch on while small are cookies and milk

⛈️ Raiden makes sure he doesn't eat too much though, mostly because hes a big meanie, mostly because he doesn't want Fujin to get a tummy ache (and he's a big meanie)

☁️ Fujin calls Raiden a big meanie to everything Raiden does that Fujin doesn't like

⛈️ Raiden's okay with the nickname, he'd rather be a big meanie than have a very upset Fujin on his hands

☁️ While Fujin is a very well mannered regressor, he also loves annoying people, specifically his brother

⛈️ He'll ask Raiden what he's going, follow him around, poke him, stand just outside Raiden's workspace so he's technically not in the room

☁️ Little Raiden gets incredibly fussy at Fujin's act, but big Raiden has much more patience

⛈️ Fujin keeps trying to steal Raiden's hat so he can wear it

☁️ He so far has been unsuccessful in all his attempts so far

⛈️ Fujin doesn't throw tantrums or hissy fits often, mostly when he's had a tough day and doesn't know how to properly communicate

☁️ Raiden will gently hold his little brother, rocking him and wiping away his angry tears

⛈️ He'll excuse any yelling or hitting (very rare, has only happened once) Fujin did, mostly because he knows Fujin feels guilty and never really meant to harm him

☁️ Those days are mostly spent cuddling and crying about big feelings

⛈️ Raidens also very good with handling Fujins nonverbal moments (personal hc that Fujin goes nonverbal when he's very angry or upset)

☁️ He'll slowly figure out what's making Fujin that upset, and make it go away

⛈️ He will also firmly hold and rock him (Fujin likes being squeezed)

☁️ That's his baby brother after all, if anyone knows how to make Fujin feel better, it's Raiden

⛈️ Fujin likes uppies, but likes running around more

☁️ Raiden’s strong, he can easily carry Fujin on his hip

⛈️ . . . But Fujin needs to stop tackling him when he was to get picked up >:(

☁ Raiden’s main CG nicknames are Bubba or Rai

⛈️ Other regressors call Raiden Grandpa Rai (because they're mean-) and one time Fujin called Raiden that and Raiden pouted foe three days straight

☁️ Almost nothing could make him feel better, and it was highly entertaining

⛈️ Also he is NOT that old and the other regressors need to start being nicer >:(

☁️ Raiden doesn't often use nicknames towards Fujin, especially when he first started watching Fujin regress, but he gets more in the hang of it as time goes on

⛈️ Sweetheart, Cloudy, Stormy, Sweetie, Fuu Fuu, all those sorts

☁️ Fujin likes coloring, and has made a picture of him and Raiden before prompting passing out because he stayed up past nap time to finish it

⛈️ Raiden totally didn't cry when he saw the words ‘Bestest Big Brudder Ever’ on it (it's hung in Raiden’s room)

i am so sick of never seeing polynesian representation in any form of media. why don't we get the same advocacy for representation as every other culture?

i'm glad that other cultures are finally getting more of the representation they deserve, but representation for polynesians has gone practically nowhere and i'm so sick of it.

why is all of our representation only ever stuff like moana or lilo and stitch? how come you guys sexualize and romanticize hawaiians so much and then dumb down and kill off every other type of polynesian? how come we always have to be fucking connected to the sea? how come we share a month with asian ethnicities when our traditions and cultures are vastly different from each other? how come one of my longtime friends straight up had to ask me what samoa is? why did they have to ask me? how come hawaii's annexation seems to only be taught in hawaii? how come i don't even know the history of my other polynesian cultures?

i never see people talking about this and honestly i can't even be entirely mad because most of it is that people just don't know we even exist.

As much as I adore Lilo & Stitch: The Series and Kim Possible, I don't think my brain returns to any Saturday Cartoon Adventures more than:

Aladdin: The Series - Remember the one where the cat goddess is kidnapping children and turning them into monsters? Or the one where there's a prophecy that Aladdin will die? Or the one where Genie is being hunted by the last of a race of magic-vampires? Or the one where Aladdin is being possessed by the vanquished sorcerer Mozenrath's (what a name) spirit through his magic glove? Or the one where Aladdin literally crosses over with Hercules?

The Little Mermaid: The Series - I think about that episode where she gets sucked down into the trippy, surreal Wonderland trench and can't escape probably every week. Go to Disney Plus and find that episode, it's called "Charmed," it's worth it.

The Legend of Tarzan - Like every episode is burned in my brain forever. The Opar episodes where he'd rather die than choose anybody but Jane, even after he thinks she's dead. The one with the Mad Elephant where Tantor thinks he's contracted the same illness. The one with DINOSAURS. The one where the new radio tower makes every animal go insane and try to kill Tarzan and Jane. The one where a different ape challenges Tarzan for leadership and WINS. The one where Jane's friends come to the jungle to rescue her. The one where Tarzan gets locked in like a prison camp with Teddy Roosevelt?! The one with a magical healing albino gorilla?! The one with Kerchak's old rival Tublat coming to try and take over the gorilla family in a series of traps? ! The one with the giant snake?! The one where Tarzan gets bit by a spider and almost DIES?! The one where Clayton's sister comes and forces Tarzan to choose between saving himself from poison or saving all of his loved ones from several death traps in time?! The one where the African tribes from the Tarzan books help Tarzan find a cure for a deadly disease in special two-part episodes?! The one with a WWII spy coming and trying to steal Jane's affections while simultaneously looking for war information he left in a music box he sent to her?! WHY IS THIS NOT ON DISNEY+?!

Buzz Lightyear of Star Command - Skilled. Courageous. And ever-vigilant. Leaping into action, it's BUZZ LIGHTYEAR, of STAR! COMMAND! I'm tired of having to dig around the Internet to watch episodes like The Wirewolf where an old Space Ranger buddy gets turned into a machine-mauling cybernetic wolf monster by the light of a radioactive moon, or the one where an "energy vampire" named N0S4-A2 tries to eat Buzz's robot friend.

Come on. We got The Little Mermaid: The Series. That Tarzan & Jane movie isn't enough! WHERE ARE THE REST OF THEM, DISNEY

Hellooooo! I saw you had requests open! I'm having some serious Satan brainrot all of a sudden and would like to request two things (I'll do them in separate asks).

So for the first one... I always see things about MC being the one who can calm down Satan and everything and I love that... But how about Satan being the one who can calm down MC? I want like something to happen and MC gets pissed. I mean absolutely livid. But Satan manages to calm them down before any destruction happens. Because I just love the idea of him seeing the fuming human and he just like... hugs them or something. It'd kinda be like how Lilo puts the lei on Stitch when he's treating everything up and he suddenly relaxes. MC is so mad they're getting ready to break things and Satan just hugs them and boom, MC's anger is neutralized. At least, that's how it'd be with me lol

No one understood MC's anger. Being misunderstood was the reason why they had been called many things in their life – dramatic, quick-tempered, emotional.

MC was none of these things. Their anger was something that simmered over time as irritation built up until the final explosion. It wasn't as if MC overreacted about small things – small things were the last straw for them. The final thing to tip them off.

No one else seemed to understand that. Until they met Satan.

Satan knew his sin was a curious thing – a quiet force to the point a certain line gets crossed. He understood MC's anger, saw beneath the surface whenever MC had reached their limit.

“I know I have responsibilities just like everyone else in this house,” MC snapped at Lucifer, their hands clenching into tight fists. “I'm still human. I have limits. This time I had to prioritize my chores and duties over my grades. I didn't even get a failing grade, so what's the big fuss?”

Satan watched silently at the exchange between the eldest demon brother and MC. If Lucifer knew how to read MC like Satan did, he would have dropped the issue already. He would have noticed the change in their body language, the tightness in their voice.

Instead, Lucifer crossed his arms, tilting his chin up. “You have not reached your limit. You failed to prioritize. Your shortcomings are my shortcomings. There were steps you could have taken to prevent such results.”

Lucifer turned his back to MC, deciding that the conversation was over. A frustrated noise escaped between MC's lips as they reached for the decorative pillow, lifting it above their head and tossing it where Lucifer stood a moment ago.

To Satan’s relief, the pillow landed against the floor with a thud and went ignored by Lucifer. As much as Satan would have loved to see Lucifer get hit by a pillow, he didn't want MC to get in more trouble.

“I know it's infuriating,” he said in a gentle tone, placing the pillow on its rightful spot. MC fit perfectly in his arms as he pulled them close. “I know you want to scream, to break things. But you mustn't give into that. It will only cause you more trouble.”

“He doesn't understand.”

Luffy licked matches as a kid

Sanji made sticks and mud and shampoo potions as a kid

Usopp has hypersomnia; except for like a month he thought it was narcolepsy because he joked about it being narcolepsy because the symptoms are word for word except for one key symptom and he made a joke about it to Chopper who went "wait..." and got worried for a month that it was narcolepsy and planning his life about it only to find out its something he's never even heard of before

Zoro has slept through a tornado before

Speaking of Zoro, Zoro has slept through his car falling into a ditch, and it getting towed out of the ditch in the middle of a snowstorm cross country

Nami used to steal from other kids cubby's at daycare and would eat those behavioral sheets teachers hand out whenever she got a bad score because throwing it in the trash didnt work because Belle-mere would still find them

Brook is a horrendous sleep walker who can unlock doors in his sleep, have full conversations, start screaming with zero recollection of it, and flick the lights on and off, along with having night terrors where'd he start trashing in the bed and had to be held down only to wake up confused on why people were holding him (he has totally jumped off ship in his sleep before)

Usopp once jumped over a closed off road for cars and went to a lake with Kaya and his friends and started to panic relentlessly and nearly start crying when a cop car pulled up and instantly thought he was gonna go to jail (he did absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever and just had Anxiety)

Luffy has purposefully gotten himself lost in a mall in a different country as a kid and started crying when he realized the consequences of his actions

Franky pretended to lose his eyesight once as a kid to see what would happen and felt extreme guilt when his family started crying over him and 'miraculously' got better in the doctor's office

(She made 500$)

Chopper has jumped out a two story window into some snow despite Doctorine telling him not too and got grounded for it Usopp used to put slips of paper over a lightbulb in class to 'toast it' and then ate them. He was never caught by his teacher Nami has once cut a girl's ponytail off for a chocolate bar. She did not get the chocolate bar Nami once stole a girl's hat from the lost and found and when she later saw that girl crying over it, she was HORRIFIED by the consequences of her actions she was too stunned to give it back. She still has it to this day Zoro had no clue being gay was a thing until his guy friend asked him out and he had to be sat down and told about it Robin can roll her vocal cords and pretended to purr like a cat as a kid I can't think of anything for Jinebe cause I haven't met that man yet...

Season 5 wrap up. Season 5 and 4 comparison

As you all probably know by now I like s5 more than s4, for pretty obvious reasons if you've read my s4 thoughts

Things season 5 did better than season 4:

Sirenix and Harmonix make more logical sense than Believix. Forms from outside sources have not been done before and having be given by a higher power makes more sense than suddenly forms can be influenced by how much people on a particular planet believe in magic. It makes even more sense once you remember that Earth is in the Magical fucking Dimension and that Earth not having magic is a fluke

No seriously who the fuck discovered Believix in the magical dimension and HOW?

Lack of love and pet and other stupid jobs

The romance drama was less stupid. Like yes it's VERY stupid and I hate it, but Stella being mad because she thought Brandon was insulting her fashion design makes marginally more sense than what ever the fuck was going on with Mitzi. It's like that for all of them except Skloom, like it's marginally less stupid and brain numbing

Musa is snarky again!!!! God bless!!!! And Riven is acting like a natural continuation of his s2 self, extreme stupidity and inability to read social ques and all!! My babies are back!

Completely irrelevant plot central characters did not happen. At least fucking Krystal tried to heal Sky, that more that I can say about Andy's bitch ass

Does Roy count? I can remember like three scenes he was in, he is a minor character

Tritannus has an actual personality and with some minor tweaks could be genuinely compelling, I cannot say the same for the Wizards of no personality

No secondary antagonists that are objectively better than the main ones and make me want to tear my hair out because I want to see more of them, but it does forget that Diana exists during the lilo so there's that

The civilian outfits were better. There still bad but there not s4's civilian outfits sooo

The Selkies are plot relevant unlike some pets I can't be bothered to remember

The tone of the season was FAR more consistent. Like s4 fucking was so childish than nose dived into Nabu's death, but everything in s5 didn't feel like tonal whiplash

Less transformations. Two is still annoying but it's BETTER THAN FUCKING THREE

At least they had to fucking earn the extra transformations and there's no hand out faries

All the girls got something to do in s5, they all at least got one plotline or big moment. Name either of those things for s4 Flora. You can't because they don't exist

Ariel from Return to the Sea as Bronagh. Magical sea princess who has to leave her family.

Nani Pelekai from Lilo and Stitch as Connor. Surfing Champ turned lighthouse keeper, trying to keep her ohana safe.

Experiment 489 (Huggo) as Cu the dog. I thought about using Max but decided to go with something more seaworthy.

Kobra Bubbles from Lilo and Stitch in the role of Granny. Mr. Well-Meaning social worker worried about the storms bombarding Hawaii.

Ursala from The Little Mermaid in the role of Macha, with Flotsam and Jetsom as her owls. She’s the reason for all the storms.

King Tritan from The Little Mermaid in the role of Great Seanachai. Lonely Ruler of an abandoned kingdom.

The fish women from Hercules and Xena: Battle for Mount Olympus as the Daone Sidhe. I don't know if they're sirens or sea nymphs. In this story they're sea nymphs.

The story is this...

Merrows are a type of mermaid who can turn into humans with the help of magical amulets. Merrow princess Ariel fell in love with and married human Nani. Thanks to either sea magic or alien science, they both conceive babies with each other. Ariel has Melody, and three years later Nani has Amanda. But right after Nani gives birth, Ariel is called away by her father King Tritan, and must leave behind her family and transformation amulet.

Nine years later, mysterious storms and tsunamis batter islands up and down the Pacific. Melody spends her time swimming with beloved Huggo, while Amanda tries to learn more about her heritage. One night, Amanda finds Ariels' transformation amulet, puts it on, and takes her first swim through the sea as a merrow.

But the storms are getting worse, and Kobra Bubbles is in charge of evacuating the islands' children from the coast. To protect her daughters, Nani tearfully makes them leave. But Melody and Amanda sneak away from Bubbles, and while traveling to the coast, they meet a quartet of sea nymphs who sing about King Tritan's battle with sea witch Ursala and how he sent away his people in all directions under the care of his seven daughters. Hearing this, the sisters take a rowboat to sea and search for their grandfather.

At sea, they're attacked by Ursala's eels who take Amanda away. Melody drifts alone with Huggo until Tritan finds them. He explains that a hundred years ago, Ursala had a daughter named Nevy. Nevy went mad with grief after her human lover died so Ursala removed her emotions and turned her into coral. Ursala tried to turn other merrows into coral but was sealed away in an iceberg. Ursala broke out of the iceberg the same day that Amanda was born. To protect his people, King Tritan called back his daughters to lead them to safety. He can't leave his palace, but he can help Melody by giving her an amulet (the locket) so she can be a merrow too.

Melody is guided by Ariels' spirit to Ursalas' lair. Ursala is midway through stealing Amanda's emotions when Melody stops her. Melody and Amanda uncork all the bottled emotions, causing Ursala to have a breakdown. She tearfully admits she forbade Nevy from seeing her lover, and that's why Nevy was in so much pain. She promises not to hurt the other merrows if the sisters bring Nevy back to life.

They swim back to Hawaii, reunite with Nani, and sing a beautiful duet that not only raises Nevy from her coral bed, but also calls back the merrows scattered around the world. Including Ariel.

Oh btw while I was thinking about the discduo Spider-Man meet up my mind drifted to the discduo Lilo and Stitch AU XD. Anyways here's some ideas I've thought about it

OK I was thinking more about what other characters from the DSMP could fit the ones in Lilo and Stitch. And so I thought, if Tubbo is Stitch (Yes I got help in that and now Tubbo is Stitch hehe, he has the chaotic energy for it tbh) I was thinking of who could be Jumba and Pleakley.

I was thinking Ranboo could fit the role of Pleakley since that's a character who is generally nervous but really smart in the things he knows of, and he's also more understanding of not trying to hurt Lilo because of the rules and all that, so I think Ranboo could fit that spot.

As for Jumba, I was debating quite a lot with this one, but I think Techno could fit this role. Why?? Because I think he could be very good in this role: Jumba is a scientist an evil mad scientist that created Stitch without the permission of the Galactic Order, and he tried to capture Stitch with his methods, but was stopped by Pleakley because of the law, and he really didn't like that idea, and after finally being able to do it his own way and technically forgiving Stitch, he helped Nanny get back to Lilo.

So in my opinion I think he can do great in that character (And Pleakley and Jumba ended up being part of Lilo's family, so that could also mean RivalsDuo, BedrockBros and Endersmile content there hehe).

As for the councilwoman and Gantu, I think Mumza or Puffy could do the first one, since I think it would be really cool to see them in that kind of authority role (still debating which one of them to choose for it tho), and Sam could be Gantu, since we saw in the Prison! Arc how obsessed he got about his job as the Warden and trying to keep the prisoner locked in the cell.

And for Cobra Bubbles, I think Philza could do a good job in this one, since he could be very cold and serious about his job but he also would be sympathizing about discduo's situation, he's a tough guy, but not someone who would want to see a family being separated.

As for the mean girls that bullied Lilo, idk I haven't thought of that yet XD.

ANYWAYS let me know your opinions about this!! What some other options do you have that could fit better the roles?? Or what are your suggestions for the roles of the mean girls?? Anyways hopefully next post will be about how discduo Spider-Man meet up hehe

watched the dreamworks movie "home" today. some thoughts: -i wish this movie had a way more distinctive title. i don't have any of the streaming services it's on so i had to find a place to watch it and having it just be called "home" made that kind of difficult. i saw on wikipedia that this was based on a book called "the true meaning of smekday", so why wasn't something along those lines included in the title?

-the speech quirks that oh and the other aliens have mildly annoy me but i can look past them. i mostly just wish jim parsons had done more of a unique voice for oh because all i can hear the entire time is "sheldon cooper but he talks kind of funny". and i really don't like the big bang theory so that was distracting. also, why is rhianna playing a 7th grade girl?

-the plot starts because oh tries to send this one guy whose name i don't remember an invite to his house and accidentally sends it to literally the entire galaxy because there's a button that does that right next to the regular send button?? he says it's not his fault and that it's bad design and he's literally right what the fuck 😭 but the other guy gets mad at him because now their enemies will know where they are.

-this is just kind of unbelievable to me as a cause for conflict because like. Why. just why would that ever even happen. does every alien of their species have access to that kind of system, and if so, again, why!?!? but again, i looked past it because it's a kids movie so whatever i guess.

-and as for the rest of the movie, i had heard mixed things about it before and didn't really have any expectations for it. honestly i just didn't really like it as oh and tip's individual characters and their relationship never clicked for me or felt fleshed out enough, so the emotional beats never landed--one problem i had with tip in particular was that she didn't seem to act like a girl who was facing the trauma of not only being separated from her mom but having had her entire planet abducted? the whole thing just felt oddly paced and rushed to me and i was never really engaged in what was going on. however it did have some cute moments and i can see why some people might enjoy it. i can see what they were trying to do with oh and tip both being outcasts who through their very unlikely friendship find someone who they feel like they can fit in with, and how it has a bit of an anticolonialism message in the way that meeting tip teaches oh that the way his species had been living was wrong and they end up living on the moon at the end instead of taking over earth. it's a sweet story, although the entire thing is also very reminiscent of lilo and stitch and doesn't do enough to make itself stand out to me. the twist at the end where the leader of the gorgs (the enemy species) turned out to be the only gorg left who was trying to track down an egg containing his children was also pretty cute.

-overall, it wasn't completely awful imo. i put it in D tier on my list--where i put the "bad but not awful" movies. so it's above shark tale and turbo at least, but i'll still probably never watch it again.

I hate when he's mad at me, cause means that he cares.

I hate when he's laughing with me because means he enjoys my company.

I hate how my head laid perfectly on his chest  when he hugs me because his heartbeat is my favorite sound in this universe. 

I hate how his facility to get inside my room through the window because, at Henry's house, I only could sleep feeling breathing in his perfume. 

I hate how he became my favorite drug. 

"What is going on here?" Henry's voice brings me back to earth since I woke up I only stares at Beomgyu's face not carrying about time because was Sunday, like every single detail of him was not imprinted in my mind. Beomgyu wakes up scared, I hold his hand, Henry probably triggered Beomgyu with that scream.

"It's okay you are with me, you're safe it's not your dad, is only Henry and I'll never let him hurt you" I look into his eyes "Take a deep breath I'm here"

"Lilo, I'll not ask again…" Henry keep screaming, so Beomgyu cover his ears using his hands.

"Can you please shut up? Don't you see how shocked Beom is?" I cover his ears with my hands "Look at my bear, look into my eyes, you're safe, I'm with you, please breathe, take a deep breath… Henry can you be a little bit useful and call emergency, he is having a panic attack because of your show.." I say while I'm still looking into Beomgyu's eyes.

"You both are doing a show believing I'll fall for this, your mom knows that this boy sleeps with you?" I take a deep breath and Beomgyu copies my move.

"We're both over eighteen," and he doesn't love me that way "We're dating for almost three years now" I took another deep breath to Beomgyu copy my move one more time "I'm not you, I wouldn't lie to my mom, or anyone, this part of your DNA a decline, so can you please call for help?" 

"Why so much scream this early in the morning?" I heard Yeonjun's voice.

"Yeonjun, Beom is having a panic attack call emergency" My voice goes out so automatically that sounds like Siri, "One more deep breath Beomgyu, please copy me"

"What he is doing here?" Yeonjun asks, lord I'll commit murder, so I ask forgiveness already.

So Beomgyu put his head on my shoulder, and I tap slowly his back, please be okay, you need to be okay.

"I'm okay don't need to call emergency…" His voice goes out husky "I'm leaving, don't need to worry" I kiss the top of his head

"No, you will eat breakfast with us this time, the whole house already knows you are here anyway… Are you sure that you're okay?" He holds my left hand, the one my dad and Yeonjun can't see.

"I'm fine, I promise," He says looking into my eyes "I better go because I didn't tell my grandma that I would sleep outside, she probably worried, maybe you should go with me, there is no one will scream with you" He looks at Henry "Lilo is a good daughter, you have no right to scream at her, but I apologize to be inside your house without your knowledge" Henry look at him without saying anything, and Beomgyu complete in signal language for me [I'll wait outside, bring your things, stay with us until your mom come back, I'll not have peace if you stay here after hearing him screaming like that with you].

"Okay," I respond and jump off my bed, starting to pick up my stuff, Beomgyu leaves the room.

"I can't believe your mom knows about that and say nothing" Henry keeps repeating himself.

"What part of I already have eighteen, you didn't understand? I work at Mr. Kang's lawyer's office, I pay for the things that I want to have, and I only stay here to convince my mom that was fine she goes on a honeymoon, but I can definitely take care of myself, and also the Bemgyu factor, we always take care of each other…" I put my toothbrush at last in my purse.

"You take care too much of each other," Yeonjun seems to complain, I can't hold my laugh.

"Yes, that's part of being in a relationship, aren't you and Ariel the same?" I look at him, I'll not lie, part of the reason for me being here was because I know this would drive Ariel a little bit crazy, but only Beomgyu knows that.  

"Where are you thinking you going Lilo?" Henry asks so I throw my bag through the window.

"I gotcha!" Beomgyu screams from the outside. 

"You are not leaving this room for a while miss" I roll my eyes and look through the window, Beomgyu still looking at me. 

"You better don't hurt me" I whisper looking at Beomgyu before I jump, maybe I lost my mind, wasn't that high but I could break a leg for sure.

"You will don't be the one that gets hurt," Beomgyu says holding me in his arms, I hold myself on him with my legs.

"I lost my mind" I confess to him, my heart was going so fast. 

"You only realize this now?" Beomgyu laughs at me, I laugh with him "Let's run before they catch us" Beom put my feet on the grass.

"Yep!" So he holds my bag over his shoulders with one hand and with the other he holds my hand and we start to run.

And we run all the way to his grandma's house, everything in my head was in slow motion, every time he turn his head to look at me smiling, my heart  became weather, so we lay on the grass in the garden in front of the house to took a deep breath.

"Sorry for Henry, you stay because of me, and he was a d…" I start.

"Don't worry, thank you for taking care of me that way" He kissed the top of my head "I love you Lilo…" Those words became ink on my skin, a permanent tattoo in my soul. 

"I love you too bear" In a romantic way, and at the end of the day I'll be the one that gets hurt, I lay my head on his chest hearing his heart. 

"Lilo, I mean it… It's complicated to explain, and understand too,  I know, my whole life, I was all about loving boys, never in my mind, I thought about a girl, I mean I still like boys," He stop saying and take a deep breath "It's all so confusing, I just know that I love you, I wanna kiss you, hold you in my arms, in a real thigh way…" I sit and look at him "I'm not being clear, I know, is just I don't figure out it yet, but the only thing I'm sure I love you, and maybe I'm capable of loving boys, girls, non-binary people, you give me so much love, that I'm overflowing love right know…" I took a deep breath "I sware to you, I'm not being needed, I love you…"

"Beomgyu, breath," I say smiling at him "That's okay," I lay my head on his chest one more time.

"You don't think I'm a perve right?" 

"No, why would you be a perve? Because of that? No Beomgyu" I give a kiss on his chest over his shirt "My oppa boyfriend is like you, remember Taehyun oppa? When he meet you at the restaurant that night, he said we both cursed, cause he was in love with a straight guy  and I was in love with a gay guy, at the end you both were, bisexual or pansexual or just queer, I don't know if you wanna label yourself, but resuming he also think he was straight until fall for Taehyun oppa, he did the inverse way that you did, just that… There's nothing to worry about, relax…"

"Wait, you love me all these years?" Oh lord, why I can't hold my tongue? 

"That's not the point Beomgyu… Are we dating for real now?" I need to put his mind on another thing.

Isn’t grand sized me technically non canon? Is an episode that was mandated, it wouldn’t have existed it Disney hadn’t forced them to create and the creators made it as terrible and unpleasant as possible in purpose because of it.

i think part of why folks are annoyed with it is because it IS canon... bad episodes are canon, too, unfortunately.

the only one i'd leave up to personal interpretation is the Lilo & Stitch crossover episode. it's not part of the 87 episodes of KP. kind of like how...Disney doesn't technically consider their TV show spin-offs or direct to video sequels to be canon.

examples... Mulan 2, not canon. The Little Mermaid 2 and 3 (prequel) .....not canon. so Melody doesn't technically exist. Aladdin TV series and the two sequel movies...not canon. not official canon according to Disney. in the eyes of the world and of fans, they all are. so the Lilo & Stitch crossover could be argued to not be KP canon, based on these precedents. (if Disney has changed their position on this in recent years and is now calling these canon, someone let me know.)

WHICH, as i've stated before, really does fit in perfectly with established norms for the universe, so... plenty of pseudo-science mutant nonsense in KP, lol. ehhh i'll forgive the episode only in that sense.

best to leave creative control of a thing to the...creators, writers, animators... not the will of bureaucrats and NOT the will of the fans, either. let's be real... the best art that we all love and is timeless is that before the internet era, where none of us had input.

Worlds Disney Won't Let Nomura Use For KH (& the Worlds Disney Wants but Nomura Doesn't):

Toy Story: Nomura refused to make KH3 until Disney let him use Pixar... and thus Toy Story. Toy Story seems to have set up much of the premise of Phase 2 of KH & the emotional resolution of Phase 1 (saying goodbye to childhood, to Kairi).

Frozen: there are Theory Vids on YT that go into the idea in depth but, ultimately, it amounts to Disney changing its mind about letting Elsa have a Heartless between bringing Frozen up to Nomura BEFORE the film's release, the development of KH3, the successful reception of Frozen & susequent planning for a sequel, then the release of KH3. Elsa going Full Riku, Sora seeing her conflict firsthand (as opposed to in KH1 & the Anna POV KH3 ended up with) would have better enabled Sora's Context for RIKU'S villain arc (& why he was able to redeem himself).

High School Musical: the HetNorm analogies of musical theatre & Chad getting Mad at his best friend for [leaving him behind/having a girlfriend], followed by Everything About Ryan & Chad in HSM2... THOSE are the themese Nomura would be interested in & he'd even figure out how to make Basketball Heartless INTERESTING in order to use them. RIP Chad/Ryan.

Lilo & Stitch's World AND Moana's World: we will get one or the other, never both because Disney would see TWO indigenous islander girls & consider their stories interchangable. The only loophole I could think of that would enable both worlds to exist in the same game would be if Lilo's World was the "Future" of Moana's. As is, it seems Inevitable that Nomura will ask to use Moana: whether it's to compare Moana with Riku (island kids who want to explore, who get bad advice on heroism but ultimately choose 'love', who have Explorer Ancestors) or in parallel with Kairi (who is now starting her OWN journey, independently of her friends, and will ultimately lead her back to her forgotten roots)... Nomura will get his "playble Island World". If Stitch conveniently crash lands halfway through Moana's journey? EVEN FUNNIER.

The Goofy Movie: imagine getting Goofy Backstory all of a sudden, complete with the Awkward Realization that Goofy has had a Grown Up Son back home that Sora has been reminding him of. o_o;

Cinderella 3: this film is basically Chain of Memories but EXPLICITLY ROMANTIC. it would, hilariously, cast Naminé as Anastasia AND as 'Fairy Godmother'. The return to Cinderella's World JUST to emphasise Sora as CinderRiku's 'Dream'... using the Oblivion Keyblade & Sora's Necklace as a narrative glass slipper might even be overkill by that point.

Maleficent: Nomura probably wouldn't be interested in using a story about parental love, at this point in the series, except to point out Maleficent was Riku's Evil Fairy Godmother in KH1 & will be having her Comeback now that CinderRiku is rescuing his Prince Sorara with True Love... AGAIN (DDD's plotline is essentially the same as Sleeping Beauty's). There's no need to include Maleficent's World when its plot is playing out with the KH-original cast - it would be background repurposing to clarify narrative intent. though, given how slow audiences are about picking up on non-het romantic subtext... Nomura MAY need Maleficent's home turf after all.

Star Wars: it would be kind of redundant to have Jedi in KH unless they were redressed as ancient Keyblade Wielders. Star Wars would only hammer in the "Xehanort was actually Anakin Skywalker, now you need to find his Palpatine" thing for KAIRI & the Wayfinder Trio (who any present-continuation plotlines of Ancient Masters would naturally fall to).

You know what makes me mad? Proximamon. He's a super special Digimon who doesn't exist, and his existence is only a theoretical possibility born from super calculations.

The three Digimon you need to make him are Arcturusmon, Siriusmon, and their buddy from the library, Ryudamon. The super calculator who would have come up with the possibility was Quantomon, and we never even got a single mention! Not even some ominous foreshadowing where Gulus gloated about obtaining ultimate power, or someone foretold of endings and beginnings (Proximamon's entire shtick is that it repeatedly destroys and then recreates the world, which are its actual two attacks that it is constantly using. I think it does this until it creates an idealized world that it wants and unfuses back to its component Digimon)

Not even a mention. I am so disappointed.

I have to agree! Proximamon is one of the things that have me holding out that the world of Ghost Game isn't over and that we are going to get a movie or a short second season that finishes up because there is too much leftover loose ends left untied up. Like, lesser ones are things like

-"What has Hokuto been doing in the digital world this whole time???"

-"How did he click up with assistant Terriermon?" (Until confirmed otherwise I'm going to pretend Terrier Assistant hatched from Bokomon's egg when he died and BlackTailmon Uver. took it.)

-"Espimon wanting to evolve is all well and good but was there any more important reason to go on a possible one-way trip to find Hiro just to Evolve?" Like... was it to be "Strong" to survive the chaos and infection Gulus left in the digital world? But then he goes to a mostly "Safe" Dimmension where that might not matter so....?

-"Can Fukatsu and Mei be reunited please?"

But then there's the IMPORTANT info like

-"Wait.... did you say ENDBRINGER????!!!!!" Like I know the GG writing team wanted to make something a little different (Example: No dead Leomon this series) but to go through all of that and almost end it on a joke that for the most part the thing motivating the "Big Bad" to do the big bad stuff is an almost NOT THREAT for the humans currently alive. Like it'll be a threat to FUTURE humans but like... 84 generations away from now.... That feels kinda like when a creator sets up a twist villain and the audience guesses correctly so they switch it to someone else entirely that had no set up or foreshadowing.... IE.... Bad writing....

-"Why no fight Gulus all the way to MEGA????" You HAVE a mega for him we never get to see in anime. You have a Mega AND a MEGA+ that we have ALL THE INGREDIENTS FOR and we never get him. Ryudamon could have been ANY kind of digimon but they chose one of the parts to make Proximamon.

-"Why not just kill off Gulus? Or not just let him be the big bad." I mean I don't WANT him killed off but killing him off and not bringing up some endbringer and just having Gulus be this Regulus Star Black Hole that wants to eat/destroy everything would at least tie off that loose end. Sure it is WAY more satisfying and on brand for Hiro and Gamma to love him into submission given that this series is basically "Lilo and Stitch the Series" but digimon! But the loose ends man....

The whole ending had this theme of "Creating a new world for both Digimon and Humans alike" and Proximamon is the man with the plan to be able to do it! And once again we have ALL THE PARTS and Quantumon! And why would you not want to try and sell cool villain merch?

Ghost game felt a lot like the first series of Magic Knight Rayearth; a whole series setting up to a second series that wraps things up and is the story they actually WANT to tell. But who knows...
