I was going to wait until 2025, but with all the hype and info floating around, I've decided to announce the Veilguard Transcripts!

We still don't know what the future has in store for patches and updates to the dialogue, but I've been deep-diving into the files and there is already a cleaned up and organized full text-dump (courtesy of @corseque), so I figured I may as well!

Much like DA2, we have all the dialogue lines, but it's formatted strangely. It takes a bit of work to piece together the conversation flows and triggers, so it may not all be 100% accurate. As usual, I'll be striving for utmost accuracy though, so they will be a little slow going!

Don't worry, I'm still working on DA2, but the brainrot got me. I'll probably be bouncing between the games like a madman for a while with pieces of DA:I when I need a break from all the file messes of the other games lol

so i've been hooking up with this guy since august and he not only looks SO MUCH like george but he also has an eerily similar personality to him. he's really sarcastic, cute, and charming. our personalities mash together pretty well and i like him very much. when theres been studies that if all younger of-age people voted this place would be WAY more liberal than it is, i think theres only GOOD that can come out of encouraging more ppl to vote, and consistently. NOT disillusioning them early on and making them feel like nothing fucking matters (esp when you list no alternatives to voting for trying to change things)

Ah, thanks!! Its a natural feature, actually! Part of his respiratory system.

Here's a little diagram (and some explanations below the cut.)

Spiracles

The symmetrical breathe-y holes connected directly to the irken respiratory system and mouth through the tymbal. There are three on each side, located around where the lower ribs/coastal margin would be on a human.

Tymbal

A specialized sound making organ/resonating chamber located in the center of the chest, capable of producing a wide range of sounds. It is only visible from the outside as a little "plate" embedded over the sternum area. The visible portion varies only slightly between individuals. It vibrates when in use and can even be seen thrumming in some cases.

Additional Notes:

The modern irken is deisgned to be much more neotenic and therefore has a small tymbal with unrefined chambers that are meant only to be capable of the most simple chirps. It can make a few noises, though all are systemically discouraged. As the tymbal becomes less responsive and atrophies with disuse, stillness of the tymbal may sometimes be regarded as a sign of maturity.
