PLEASE please please write more of your ‘When Tommy met Alfie AU’ 🥺 I’m currently reading them from the first part and I LOVE your writing 😊
I love how protective and affectionate Alfie is in your fics! I NEED more of it! I need more fics where Alfie hugs Tommy from behind and Tommy sitting in Alfie’s lap and more importantly I NEED more protective Alfie fics!
Thank you so much for this message ❤️ The 'When Tommy met Alfie AU' (or as I lovingly call it, the wtm-au) is very dear to me, and even as I work on other stuff, it's always somewhere on my mind. I do have a fic slowly in the works for it, that might eventually turn into something. And if you have something specific in mind that you'd like to see for that AU, please do share! Since it's been a long time since I properly wrote for it, I'd love to hear if there's something you'd like to read about.
As for your love for protective Alfie, I of course share that with you (though that might be obvious, seeing as my 54 works on AO3 all feature it in some way... I'm nothing if not consistent) And I promise to continue bringing you that kind of content.
But I also highly encourage a search through the Tommy/Alfie tag on AO3! There are so so many great fics for this pairing there, and while it's not always tagged, so much protective Alfie to find. If you need somewhere to start, these are just a few writers that came to mind with works on the subject soft/protective Alfie (limiting myself severely here because I instantly got overwhelmed trying to make A List)
@andtherewerefireworks is currently working on an absolute marvel of a fic, with plenty of Alfie being protective (just one of the many great things about that story) Blue light pulls in through. The long crack in my wall if you haven't read it is a must ❤️
@bouncydragon ❤️ for example their fic Broken, or their wonderful fic There goes my mind racing which is one I go to re-read a lot.
@blazingstar29 has many greats as well, and has some whumptober works for this pairing that is sheer perfection! ✨AO3
@elskiee shares my love for Alfie being absolutely adoring of Tommy and I'm loving their work Daylight. Always makes me go 🥰 when I see an update
And again, these are just a few of them, because there are many great writers out there for this ship 💕
Thank you again for your kind message, and again, don't hesitate to share any ideas or thoughts you might have! (This of course goes for anyone, I always love hearing from you)

Hi, this isn’t a prompt, I just wanted to say you’re one of my favorite writers for multiple fandoms and I really love your work. It’s actually been years since I first started reading fanfic, jeez it was since before I was even in high school, and I always find myself coming back to your fics. That’s all, have a good day🫶
Thank you! You’re so unbelievably kind. Hearing feedback from readers is so helpful, both in motivation to create content, and in just feel-good friendship.
I, too, was an avid fanfic connoisseur since age 12 or so, and I’m so glad you’ve had fun reading my writing. I have a hard time rating my stuff as teen, adult, explicit, etc. on AO3 as well as on here, though I do try consistently tag my work and provide content warnings. I hope I haven’t scarred anyone for life with my…unsavory content?
I’m so happy to receive kind messages like this; they definitely reignite my motivation to create and post. Tbh, I have two really well-developed fics (powers/no powers and chasing ghosts). I also have WIPs that are on my scratch pad that I need to type up and proof and post. I’m having a bear of a time keeping the stories concise (like < 2 or 3 k). I like introductions where we acclimate to the characters and who is speaking and acting, and I also like subliminal backtracking so we as writers and readers can refresh the ‘verse and assign the correct backstories to the characters in the categories in the ‘verse.
I also know the strong connections we develop with those knock-your-socks off stories, whether because of that one line or that one chilling description… I’ve had a hall’o’fame list since long before I started my own content. (There’s a link to that list in the expanded text of the bio at the top of the blog.)
Thanks for the wonderful, cheerful message. You know I’m still way underwater with schedules and stuff, but I’m attempting to put in some personal time where I can work on a project. (Currently cuddling in the hammock chair with my National Geographic is kinda the go-to). I have so many stories in my head, both as more Marvel fanfic, as well as OC modern/historical/fantasy ideas. I swear the little buggers come in like ear mites and start jabbering with all this dialect and dialogue and specific scenes. I’m running as fast as I can to put them to paper before they all fly away. It’s good fodder for self-pub on KindleVella, or, if it has a more substantial plot, something might turn out to be a note for this years’ NaN0. (Although I have three very lengthy unfinished manuscripts—I’ll settle on something later summer or fall.
I’m also looking forward to events, like CA birthday challenges in July, Marvel medical differences/chronic illness challenge in August, I think, and, of course, Whumptober ( + Inktober). No promises for consistency which any of that, but our new schedule (heavily reworked for consistency among the autistic and ADHD-diagnosed parties in our family. I am trying to take some private time a few times a day for undisturbed art and writing and magazine reading, but my attention span and lack of stamina contribute heavily to, well… some slow going.
Ok. I’ve talked way too much. 💝 to you, anon. Thanks for getting in touch.

Miss Fisher’s Whumptober Challenge 2022!
Tumblr media
It’s nearly October, which means Whumptober is coming up and it’s a long-standing tradition in this fandom—this is our 5th year doing it! We would love for you to join the fun, whether you’re a long-term fan or completely new.
Whumptober is a month-long challenge consisting of 31 prompts. “Whump” means a work in which characters are put in emotionally and/or physically painful situations, and usually these works can be categorized as hurt/comfort. We ask you to tag your work appropriately and be clear on whether it contains comfort, to help your readers.
If this sounds good to you, simply go to this link, write your name behind one of the prompts, and create something for it (at any point in October and the first week of November). The same prompt can be claimed by multiple people. Tag your work “MFMMwhumptober” and if you post it in AO3, you can add it to this collection.
The previous years’ entries can be viewed here:
2018
2019
2020
2021
Your works can be any genre and once you complete your prompt, you can claim another. They don’t even necessarily have to be whumpy. We have several writers (myself included) who like to bend the rules and write fluffy and/or smutty fics for this challenge. (However, we recently had a discussion about how there doesn’t seem to be a lot of physical whump in the MFMM fandom, so if that’s your thing, that would be awesome too 😛 I’m challenging myself to write a “real” whump fic in addition to the painfully fluffy sickfic that will be my first entry. All contributions are welcome!)
The original prompt list can be found here (these are the prompts I put into the spreadsheet).
We look forward to your contributions!

i think i'm going to try and write some Whumptober prompts this year. Do you have any advice? Sincerely, a very shy newbie whump writer.
Write them early! That’s advice I would give to anyone. The prompts are hopefully coming out in early September, so that gives you about a month.
Only do the ones you enjoy. Don’t try to do all of them if you really can’t. You want to avoid burnout, which can happen easily in challenges like this. So, pace yourself. Don’t go super hard at it unless you absolutely feel like you can.
As for whump writing itself, well, you don’t have to explain absolutely everything. Sometimes I’ll just start a fic with Hiccup captured and not always explain how he got there, or if I do I do it in a brief paragraph. Don’t get super caught up on the lead in all the time, because it can make it take a while to get to the whump. Longer stories are perfectly fine! Again, I’m mostly giving this kind of advice so that you can have fun and avoid burnout. ao3commentodtheday is a big proponent of just jumping into a scene without always explaining it, and honestly, yeah, just go for it!
Also, you can have medical accuracy in one fic, and then not have medical accuracy in another. It’s what serves the story best at that moment that matters.
Whumpers. Do you always need them? No! Accidents happen, especially dangerous, painful accidents. (Take what happened to my knee, for instance. That was from a simple accident, and then I needed surgery to fix the injury because it was so bad.)
Caretakers/comfort: It’s up to you whether or not you write the comfort/caretaking at the end. Hell, one fic can be entirely made up of caretaking and another can not even have it at all!
Basically, you don’t always have to be consistent from fic to fic. Some fics can be all hurt no comfort, some can be hurt/comfort, some can just be comfort. It’s all up to you.
And it’s totally okay to interact with other whumpers in the community! I’ve seen some really great ideas and concepts from other whumpers.
Writing OC fic is perfectly fine! Writing pure fanfic is perfectly fine! Basically, you can just do whatever, as long as you’re having fun. It’s not a super strict event. Just make sure to tag correctly and you’re all good.
I feel very flattered that you approached me with this question. I hope I was able to help.

Happy FFWF!!! Are you writing for Whumptober? Share your favorite idea you’ve had and some lines if you’ve written for it! If not, share a sneak peace for a WIP of yours
I am not writing for whumptober! I wish I was, but I don't have time or energy. I honestly haven't been reading a lot these last few weeks idk what's up with me. Nothing has been appealing... I don't even know the prompts :'D My biggest wish is to see some of my favorite writers come back for whumptober, like @kitcat992, who does some of the best whump I've ever seen, but she's never participated in whumptober to my knowledge so its not gunna happen lol! Idk who I am looking forward to reading... I'm hoping for a new player to enter the room and blow me away like @polaroid15 did last year (maybe that wasn't whumptober though). I am excited for @jinxquickfoot because they are the whumptober god, but it is almost TOO whumpy for me to read! So good I haven't finished the last one! Their buried alive one last year... I still haven't stopped thinking about it! I also miss Emily and her amazing whumptober with Penny... its got me wishing for years come past! Hopefully this year will live up to the great years before it! (also if @iron--spider just dropped anything, which I'm sure she will update on Pateron or Ao3 cuz she is very consistent, it will make my month worth it! Her biodad is seriously one of my favorite things in the month to read, so subscribe to her pateron! )

2020 Creator’s Self-Love Extravaganza
Boy howdy, but it has been a year. So much so that I felt the need to dig up this meme so I can lavish myself with a little TLC, ‘cause you know what? I deserve it! And so do you. This year has been tough, and even in the best of times it can be a real struggle to remember that, instead of being your own worst enemy, you should strive to be your best cheerleader. Remember to be kind instead of cruel, to forgive rather than condemn yourself. Creativity is hard, and it is always a journey, never a final destination, so let’s take a moment and sight-see where we’ve been this year, yeah???
Rules: It’s time to love yourselves! Choose your 5 favorite works (fics, art, edits, etc.) you’ve created this year and link them below to reflect on the amazing things you’ve brought into the world in 2020. If you don’t have five published works, that’s fine! Include ideas/drafts/whatever you like that you’ve worked on/thought about, and talk a little about them instead! Remember, this is all about self-love and positive enthusiasm, so fuck the rules if you need to. Have fun, and tag as many fellow creators as you like so they can share the love! <3
~~~~
I was tagged by @beautiful-thensad-thensadder and @flipredmonkey for this and agree it’s nigh impossible to choose only five (so I chose six), but here we go. I decided to go with the fics I think that really pushed me forward as a writer this year or meant a lot to me. In no particular order!
1. Do You Promise Not to Tell? (The Mandalorian, Din/Cara)
It’s kind of hard to believe that I started this fic in January of this year. I honestly had no idea where this was going when I started it, only that I was swept up in the CaraDin love and wanted to write some adventures for them. I was never much of a Star Wars fan before this (I know! Heresy!) but I learned way more than I ever thought I would writing this fic. Despite the lack of planning I feel like this ended up with a really consistent story, and way more epic than I ever intended at the beginning.
2. Good To Be Alive (The Mandalorian, Din/Cara)
I name-checked this one as a fave in a different meme recently. The unwilling-helmet-removal fic I never thought I’d write, and actually actively resisted writing for a while (I really didn’t think I wanted to explore that concept, but what do I know). It ended up tackling love and friendship and what it means to be a Mandalorian, and I’m very happy with how it turned out. And it certainly takes on a new feel with the current season.
3. Live A Lie (The Mandalorian, Din/Cara)
This fic, along with Hyperspace, were experiments in minimalism inspired by @beautiful-thensad-thensadder, and honestly I still love them. They are poetic in a way I would not have guessed I had in me, to be perfectly honest. This particular fic is about Din wrestling with his creed, actually, and though it features a different Mandalorian at the end and slightly different motivations, it’s actually kind of amazing to me how it mirrors some of this season.
4. Light Will Keep Your Heart Beating in the Future (TMFU, Illya/Napoleon)
Will I ever stop talking about this fic? Probably not. I love it so so much. I’ve always had a deep and abiding love for media that plays with timelines, nonlinear narratives, and the definition of what is “real”, so I’m surprised it took me this long to write a fic that does all of that. Plus, how many times do you get a chance to write a running gag about defenestrations??
5. The Definition of Madness (TMFU, Illya/Napoleon)
TIME LOOP. Did I mention I loved playing with time? Because I do. This was just a blast to write, and a challenge because I tried to do a daily update to correspond to Whumptober prompts (ok, so I kind of failed at that in the end, but I TRIED). That also meant that I planned the fic to fit into those prompts in that order, which was another challenge, and somehow, despite all of these challenges, this turned out better than I could have ever hoped.
6. Amor Magnus Doctor Est (TMFU, Illya/Napoleon)
I could not leave this one out. This academia AU was a labor of love for me, and a kind of catharsis at a particularly stressful time of my life. It was my first "real” AUwhich, by the way, I always thought I wasn’t a fan of, shows me—and also the first long-form fic that I completely planned out ahead of time. I so loved the journey of writing this and sharing it, and I’m so happy with the finished product. If you were ever curious about what life is like for professors, well, this is it (with, you know, added romantic ~drama~ lol).
~~~~
I’m tagging @heytheredeann, @therogueheart, @shewolf-2013, @iamskyereads, @imaginedragonsfly, and anyone else who wants to play!

Please put the Whumptober2020 stories up on AO3! I would suggest creating a Whumptober2020 series and posting the individual stories under it. That would make it easy for people to find them all but also to pick & choose which ones to read based on tags. I've seen other writers post 100 word drabbles as individual stories so wouldn't worry about the length. I'm not a fan of "stories" with multiple chapters that have nothing to do with each other.
I'm absolutely planning to put the Whumptober stories up on AO3! The question is, what’s the best way to do it...
I definitely don’t want to dump them all into one story, because I know that gets annoying, especially because so far they’re at least three distinct fandoms/pairings! (I’m not personally bothered by the collected-shorts-as-one-story format, as long as chapter titles/tags are used to make things clear - though I think this is part of me being a Fandom Old; I feel like that used to be more accepted practice? not a judgment at all, but a comment on shifting fan practices! - but I’ve seen people make good points about finding things in search results and tags getting cluttered, so it’s probably best to not do this!)
But then they're so short that I feel bad making them 31 individual stories - I feel like that gets annoying in a different way, like, my Works page on AO3 would suddenly have all my most recent stories consist of 31 super-short separate one-shots, and that’s so much to scroll past if you’re looking for an older story of mine or just browsing my fic! Both as a reader and an author, I tend to find that frustrating! (Again, I am a Fandom Old.) And also a couple of them are related - one of the Stucky ones will be a sequel to an earlier one, for instance.
So at the moment I'm considering a series, so it's like, Series: Whumptopber 2020! Individual stories: 1) "Whumptober 2020 - Evanstan," 2) " Whumptober - Stucky," 3) "Whumptober - Original Characters," so they're separated by fandom - and then using tags and chapter titles and the summary to clearly list each chapter. There’d only be roughly 10 chapters in each, so I think it’d avoid the whole ‘wall of tags’ issue, hopefully, and also keep the whole mess of fic at least a little contained!

2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project
well now I’m like...weirdly excited about my v. melodramatic song lyric titles for whumptober because they’re real fun. As far as future fics...I’m really excited about the last day of whumptober (’31. Today’s Special - Torture’) because I’m doing something I’ve long threatened to do that actually may involve literally the only part of Endgame I actually want to play with *cough* ;-)
I’ve also thought of an actual possible original fiction project that has potential, so I’m kind of excited to try my hand at that for a while. It’s been a really long time since I’ve written anything other than fic (or like...academic essays, I guess) so that should be fune. :-)
4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)
pulling from the fic I’m generally most proud of/that I sort of secretly think I peaked with dark underground//violent sky:
“You wish to return to my shadow? To retreat to the safety of my protection?”
“Yes,” Loki sobs. “Yes. I have screamed for nothing more for weeks, months by now. Years. I have cried for you and begged you to come for me and you have left me!”
“Say it again. If you truly mean it say it again and maybe the Norns will smile upon you.”
Loki takes a deep, shuddering breath, steeling himself. “Please. Please, Thor, I need you. I need you to help me. I need you to come for me.” Thor, something’s happened…Something…at my apartment. I can’t stay here, I need you to come get me…Please just come get me. “Please, come for me.”
“No.”
With that, the voice in his head silences.
w/e it was more than a paragraph but I’ve always liked that section.
11. What do you envy in other writers?
Oh gosh, so many things.
- I feel like I’ll sometimes read other people’s work and be really jealous of their prose - like balancing really good prose with sort of indulgent hurt/comfort or pwp or whatever. I feel like I can be kind of inconsistent.
- also consistency with actual writing. I tend to go through these cycles where I can’t write anything for days/weeks sometimes, and then I hit onto a really productive period where I write like thousands of words a day. I’d love it if I could just be more consistent, since I think I’d end up producing more overall and also it would spare me the constant dramatics of ‘that’s it, I’ve lost it, I’ll never write again, I peaked, that’s it-’ etc etc. Like, stopping the roller coaster of my writing ability would be great. I hate roller coasters. I refuse to ride them. Why must my muse constantly be on them?
- I mean right now I’m sort of jealous that people are getting new fandom inspiration from like....actually popular things. ‘cause like, I knew I needed to take a few like...mini-breaks from the MCU. I felt like I needed to branch out, to know that I could write outside of the MCU. all this was great but instead of finding inspiration for a fandom that literally anyone cares about, instead I guess I’m just over here writing stuff (that I’m actually pretty proud of) that I think tops 5 people will ever read? Like, I’m happy writing about the stupid airplane and the stupid apocalypse, I just wish I had people to share it with.
20. Tell us the meta about your writing that you really want to ramble to people about (symbolism you’ve included, character or relationship development that you love, hidden references, callbacks or clues for future scenes?)
hm...there were a couple points in ‘where is your sting’ where Loki is like an inch away from figuring out plot-important information that I was really hoping people would comment on but I don’t think anyone did.
the first he spaces out when the Grandmaster is talking about his ‘Champion’
The Grandmaster lights up. “Oh yes, he’s absolutely brutal. You know, Scrapper-142 found him for me, came flying in on a jet one day, the crowd absolutely loves him, they’re huge fans…”
Loki finds his mind wandering to long ago while the Grandmaster talks.
and second, he almost figures out that ‘Scrapper 142′ is Asgardian, but he’s sort of too blasted to actually put two and two together
“Will you really be fine?” she says and for a moment the quality of her words are different. He squints at her.
The All-speak filters almost all languages into words he can understand. To his ears, they all sound just like the Asgardian language that is his true native tongue, but it always sounds different to hear it truly spoken, when someone is using the language for real, and it is not simply translated through the All-speak. And for a moment, when she speaks, it sounds like she’s actually said it in Asgardian. Then she says it again and it sounds like Thor’s voice in his head. A sigh, and she says it a third time, this time addressing her drink. “Will you really be fine?”
Loki shuts his eyes against the spinning of the room. The languages being spoken around him slip in and out of the All-speak. One second he can understand everyone, each pocket of whispered conversation in the bar. And then he can understand none of them, their words turning into an incomprehensible cacophony in his ears.
That was at least what I could think of off the top of my head/recent little references I was real proud of at the time. XD
[meta asks on a saturday night to make up for me being morose earlier - ask my questions I will not be weird or sad!]

1, 3, 4, 7, 15, and 21?
1. Tell us about your current project(s)  – what’s it about, how’s progress, what do you love most about it?
i’m currently working on the two final whumptober prompts in my inbox (one being the second part to my fic ‘your soul survives (but peace you’ll never find);’, as well as the next story in my New Asgard-verse (’in dreams, until my death;’)
progress is definitely slower than i would like, between November 3rd related stress, work, and homework projects. but i’m really enjoying the time i do get to sit down and work! something i'm loving a lot about the story i’m putting most of my energy into currently is a further exploration of Loki’s own, less focused on over-protective nature, and subsequently how he deals with that. it’s been a lot of fun !
3. What is that one scene that you’ve always wanted to write but can’t be arsed to write all of the set-up and context it would need? (consider this permission to write it and/or share it anyway)
oh shit so many. not necessarily one scene specifically, but i particularly would love the opportunity to write Loki interacting with a number of the Avengers. things get complicated, however, considering the fact that i tend to focus mainly on Post-Ragnarok Thor and Loki, and this happens to take place following the Avengers splitting up. i might just conveniently forget that fact in the future if it doesn’t piss too many people off, but that’s the kind of set-up that would take a significant amount of time and energy that i don’t know if i care to exert! like, i care enough about adhering to canon to feel kind of guilty about erasing that much, but not enough to stop thinking about it entirely.
4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)
i had to take a minute to think about this, but one moment that i’m particularly proud of comes from my most recently posted fic, which involves mute!Loki following Thanos’ attack on the Statesman;
“Thor, however, who had been Loki’s brother since before either of them could properly remember, knew to recognize the gesture for what it was.
I’m fine, Loki might say, only for his actions to clearly convey otherwise.
Do what you want, he would dismiss, only for his eyes to plead, Stay.”
i just really, really love the idea that Thor is finally learning to stop and listen to the subtle pleas and needs behind Loki’s sharpness and dismissals, and can understand them even when Loki can’t speak to them one way or another. ;-; they’re trying so hard
7. What do you think are the characteristics of your personal writing style? Would others agree?
i definitely think that one of my most telling characteristics adheres to my username on ao3, unintentionallyangsty. my writing buddies used to rib me constantly because i would take the fluffiest prompt and somehow manage to fit some angst or hurt/comfort in there. so repeated tropes are definitely gratuitous hurt/comfort (but  almost never hurt without comfort), crying, and comfort in the form of touch/cuddling, i guess?
if we’re talking grammatical/story flow writing style, however? i feel like mine changes with almost every story. if anyone could pin down one specific style i tend to utilize, please feel free to let me know! because i cannot
15. Which is harder: titles or summaries (or tags)?
definitely summaries. for titles i almost always just pluck something from a favored song, and i have a drafted google doc with potential tags i can just grab and go. but i struggle consistently with summaries to the point of putting off posting a fic so i don’t have to think of one lmao
21. What other medium do you think your story would work well as? (film, webcomic, animated series?)
oh wow! maybe it’s because i’ve been knee deep in shorter, unrelated whumptober prompts for the past month, but i think maybe a miniseries would work best for what i currently have. that’s kind of how i compartmentalize my current works in my brain, given that i have two separate mcu  “series” on ao3.
(that being said, i’ve always mourned not being able to draw, specifically because i’ve always wanted to create a webcomic for some of my stories lmao)

I’ll just dump this here, since it seems like the most natural place to write about this
You know what, I'm disappointed in how little/the kind of interaction my whumptober fics have got, and maybe most of them all, the Merlin fic, which both I and my beta considered to be the best of the three.
Hearing this, someone will go "OH but you should write for yourself and no one owes you anything!!!!111"
Well, here's the thing. Writing something for my own enjoyment is not the same as posting something for others to read. These are two separate actions. I can write a million fics for myself and not post a single one of them because writing them is enough for me. But if I post a fic after writing it... Then I'm hoping to share it with someone else. And preferably have it be a mutual exchange. So clearly I have some hopes and expectations for something to happen when I post a fic.
It's like baking a thousand cupcakes, watch hundreds of people grab one for free and then not say anything about the cakes. My hit counts go up and I get a few kudos for my troubles and even fewer comments.
I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, because not everyone has to comment. I understand, I don't always have the social energy either. But still. I'm allowed to be disappointed, because this is a huge thing for me and I really want to be proud of myself for participating in my first fandom event ever despite all the shit in my life making me miserable. I was hoping and expecting something when I posted my fics and when the response is lukewarm and mostly consists of readers demanding something more out of me and my fics than what I've already given them... Yeah, I feel disappointed about that.
It’s flattering, to a point, when someone wish there was more to a finished story. I can feel that way about characters and worlds I love and would like to immerse myself in for the rest of my life. But when everyone keeps saying that they’d very much like me to write sequels, it feels like the stories I wrote aren’t enough or that they are lacking somehow. And maybe they are, but I think the problem with these fics specifically, is that I’m portraying the pre-relationship stages of these ships and that’s why people consider the stories incomplete. It’s not enough unless they get together. The exact same phenomenon can be seen with fics with smut versus fics without smut. The fics without smut are somehow lesser and the smutty parts are to be desired and they bring shippy fanfics to their peak. I’ve written multi-chaptered fic in the past and people kept begging me in the comments to write smut. “It’s not a real (or good) romance if there’s no sex!” was the message.
This isn’t to say that I’m not genuinely thrilled about the positive feedback I’ve gotten on my whumptober fics, because I am. It’s so great to know something I’ve written makes actual people feel things. I don’t regret writing or posting these fics or anything of that sort. I just needed to vent about the feeling of never being enough, and in this case, my stories not being enough. Straight up assuming/demanding more content, and especially when several readers do this, isn’t the compliment someone might think it is. Especially when the majority of comments is just about wanting more to read. It makes me kid of tired, actually, just wanting to go lie down for a moment and try to forget.
And if you’ve read this far, don’t be afraid to comment. It’s fine, as long as you don’t demand stuff. Writers don’t have to cater to you, but if they need encouragement to write more, telling them that you hope there will be more is a good comment. I’m just having mixed feelings about getting the same type of demands on several of my fics within a few weeks time.

*when you’re a writer that is trying to improve consistency in their writing so you challenge yourself to complete whumptober*
I may not be consistent- Or a particularly an experienced writer…

I am good at writing some good angst and writing lore though! I have my roster of ocs I’m going to traumatise this month (like I have before).
There should be two posts tomorrow! Day one and two! And I might even introduce you to some of my reoccurring characters.
Thank you for sticking with me and see ya <3
