Dick: Isn't she beautiful? I found her owner a couple minutes after I rescued her, and turns out it was the manager of Tim's favorite cafe! She offered me a discount on everything for the next time I visit!

Hello, my darling!! I'm doing okay, just exhausted... Long work day today but a wholesome afternoon at a dog and cat rescue shelter filming a little video with them 🥹 I have had some rest after Rituale Septem, but i do find myself itching to write the next thing... I would literally be drawing more art, but all of my free leisure time is now spent on playing Baldur's Gate 3.

I love this game so much and I want to keep going. It's so weird how a couple of months ago, this game was definitely not on my radar. Even after the previews I had zero interest in it. But then someone said "it was the closest video game experience to DnD" and only then was I intrigued.

It's been a month since this game came out and I still maybe in the middle of Act 3, so I have not yet finished the game. After all the spoilers that I've accidentally seen, this game is *still* surprising me . I'm posting some highlights below, so don't keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled.

Spoilery list of highlights so far below (you've been warned):

I started with playing a druid, but I fell in love with my Bard, and I can't imagine playing the game now without his vicious mockery insults. Randomly playing in synch with other bards you come across was a delight too.

All of the Shadow Cursed lands. Especially the Thorms. I took a lot of satisfaction out of talking my way out of most of the encounters. And holy crap, the Sisters in the House of Healing were beautiful. I cannot WAIT to see cosplay of them.

That intellect devourer you rescue at the beginning of the game, I had assumed was killed in the crash, but you get to rescue it again at the end of Act 2!!!

In Baldur's Gate (Act 3) after you meet a widow in an apothecary shop, outside there is a cat, that if you have speaks with animals on, you can convince to meet the shopkeeper and help her out

in exploring the lower city, I came across the graves of Karlach's parents, with Karlach in the group. It was such as sweet moment.

busting Duke Ravenguard out of that prison, holy jesus, that entire scenario was beautiful and amazing. I did two attempts to try to rescue all the prisoners (I didn't succeed, and even got my Tav killed because I tried to RP him waiting until everyone got back onto the sub). The rest of the group found Tav on a beach and rezzed him.

Wyll's proposal. Wow. I know some people say that Wyll's romance is boring, but I loved how wholesome and beautiful it was.

There were a few things that also surprised me in sort of negative way:

I wasn't keen on Halsin. I thought I'd love having him as part of the main crew, but he had old hippy professor energy that wasn't appealing to me at all. I was so happy that I was able to recruit Jaheira for all my druiding needs.

I figured out on my own that our Guardian was a mindflayer, but the Emperor went into flirt mode almost immediately. Actually, all the companions did, which I understand was a bug, but there was so much second hand embarassment watching everyone profess their deep desires even after no 'romantic' interactions from my bard. My Tav had to attempt to gently turn them down but cringing the hole time.

I spent so much time trying to rescue Minsc, but please dude, do more damage!! I get that he's a classic character, but it's so late in the game to introduce a ranger, why did it have to be so difficult to get him as a companion? And because it's so late in the game, I didn't have much gear for him, and I'm still trying to figure out how to play him so that he does useful damage.

Ahhh I've missed writing manager Chan fics terribly and I hope this suffices for how much I love the boys.

So I'm sure the boys all portray this intimidating!! and scary!! image to people, but when they're with you, they're just full-on blushy softies.

Aran is just very very cuddly with you! He seems done™ like most of the time, but when you guys are together, he's always pinching your cheeks, and thinking you're SO adorable when you get mad at him for it.

Osamu just loves feeding anything he's made to you, because your cheeks puff up like the cutest little chipmunk, and oh God, his heart.

Atsumu is just constantly jealous because Osamu gets to feed you, and so he makes it his personal business to learn how to cook.

He's not like Osamu yet, and he's frankly given up wayyy more times than he can count, but one day, when he proudly brings you a bento he's made by himself, he feeds you and blushes😭💖

Kita is just very stoic and calm, and seems unreadable, but deep down inside, he's so soft for you, he loves the smallest things you do, and is very observant of you.

If you're ever in trouble, you can just count on Kita to come rescue you, and he never makes a big deal about it at all.

Your relationship with Suna is simply adorable! he likes teasing you, and seeing how the red blush on your face spreads. He also loves taking videos of it when that happens, and posting it on his Instagram, much to your dismay.

Although you find it embarassing, he just loves showing you off to the rest of the world, as his precious manager-chan.

Ginjima and Omimi are slightly awkward with you, since hey find you so delicate, like a little fairy, they're scared they might hurt you in some way or another, but after constant reassurance and kindness, they open up to you, and love you as much as the other team members.

The team genuinely loves you and care for you a lot, and they are extremely gentle and protective!

It's like, if another person were to ever hurt or even touch you?? Yeah they've got a whole team of volleyball monsters to worry about, with the rowdy Miya twins in the lead.

Needless to say, you're their fox cub, and they love and appreciate you beyond words.

Seijoh

Omigosh they are such crackheads asjsksk. Seijoh loves teasing you, but deep down, it's only because they love the reactions you give them.

Makki and Matsun low-key LIVE for your angry blushes. Especially when it's paired with your foot-tapping, they think you look like a tiny fairy, Tinkerbell to be more precise.

Iwaizumi is a little tsun tsun, we all know that. Kinda shy to show you affection, but he's ALWAYS protecting you from the teasing from the others.

What can I say? He likes being your hero, and especially when you give him an adoring smile and kiss his cheek as a thank-you? WORTH IT.

Oikawa pinches your cheeks every damn second, and whenever you complain, he reaches down and kisses them, saying “My kisses are magic, they ease the pain.”

This just causes you to get blushier, and obviously, your cheeks go redder, which causes Oikawa to swoon SO HARD.

THEY ALL LOVE taking you out for ramen, because you eat so much in one bite, your cheeks puff up and they all blush quietly because they find it adorable.

I'll bet Oikawa even comes to your house to get ready for the Seijoh Halloween Party together, and gets matching costumes for the two of you.

You're Tinkerbell, and he's Peter Pan. (HOW ADORABLE IS THAT??)

The rest of Seijoh claim that this is "the only good idea Oikawa has ever had" because the costume fits you so well, and makes you look cuter than you already are.

You wink like Tink (ha! pun) and the boys just malfunction and combust because they thought you were cute, but now, you're hot?? poor Seijoh :(

Our little cat babies are all just in awe of you, and they are protective in the best way possible.

Yamamoto just loves randomly taking pictures of you and sending it to his "shitty boys" group chat and bragging.

“bet you wish you had a manager like ours”. Tanaka and Noya are so jealous.

Kuroo just loves spinning you around randomly. He thinks you're as delicate as a fairy, and according to him "fairies need to fly" which is why your feet are never on the ground, if Kuroo is near you.

Kenma likes placing his hands on both sides of your cheeks sometimes. “They're warm” he says with a satisfied smile, and you feel your cheeks grow warmer from the blush.

You and Yaku have this very interesting love-hate relationship. Like he gets under your nerves and you almost NEVER agree with him, but you also love him so much, and you'd defend him if anyone dared talk shit about him.

You just turn into a tsun tsun when he's around, but on the rare occasions when he engulfs you in hugs and speaks to you gently, you melt deep inside.

The team started calling you "Tink-chan" after Kuroo started it, and now it's just your regular nickname.

- He’s very popular without even trying and most assume he is a young single father (which isn’t wrong).

-  Mostly finds himself on cottagecore or parent side of tiktok. 

- doesn’t understand all the thirsty comments he gets because “I don’t even show my face, Emma, why would they think I’m attractive?” but always shares them with Emma because they make her laugh.

Emma: Does it for the girls and the gays, that’s it. Posts nearly every day and page is generally a mixture of self defense videos, vintage makeup/dress tutorials, and videos slamming the patriarchy but also always does the latest dancing videos and other trends.

- always tries to get others to join in on her trend videos, mostly joined by Mark and Cristina when she can rope her in.

Mark: Daily blogs. Everyone thinks he’s shit posting because it’s all wild things like standing in a middle of a circle of flowers and talking about “this pixie named Aelia lives here and she’s a BITCH”. Often shows videos of him cooking or baking wild concoctions that range from “Okay, I’d try that” to “this is why God has abandoned us”. 

- Does dancing videos with Emma all the time and often acts as the “creeper” in her self defense videos. 

- Caused a meltdown on tiktok when he casually mentioned his “partners” and started creating videos to raise awareness for polyamory. 

- Revealed Julian was his brother when he posted a video of Julian yelling at him for a solid minute because “the baby is covered in honey, why is the baby covered in honey, Mark? We don’t let the baby bathe in honey even if he really wants to Mark -” 

- solidly on cooking and gay tiktok, often takes a sharp left into “crackhead” tiktok

Kieran: Posts videos of cats he finds and rates them. The lowest ever was a 9.5/10 because “she bit me fairly hard but I scared her and I deserved it for trying to pet her without permission”. 

- does not do any trends or reveal much personal information. 

- Was always considered wholesome until he (on a dare from Dru) posted a video joking about choking a bossy sub that rounded up on kinktok. 

-- everyone went through a brief freak out trying to figure out if he had a partner but it was never solved. 

--- No one noticed that Mark posted a video joking about how “one of his partners was absolutely in the doghouse” accompanied by someone sitting in a cardboard ‘doghouse’ around the exact same time. 

- solidly on animal tiktok but occasionally veers into kinktok with more (less explicit) dom/sub humor. 

Cristina: Does not have her own tiktok but often appears in videos with Emma and occasionally shows up in Mark’s. 

- Absolute sweetheart always, even when she is demonstrating a self defense move with Emma, and is always commended for trying Mark’s foods. 

-- especially commended when trying the foods while, offscreen, their other partner yells about “Hell food” 

- is flattered with all the comments begging her to start her own tiktok but doesn’t feel like she has the time to fully commit to one properly. 

Livvy: (She’s alive, don’t @ me) Does absolutely all the new trends and also does various acting POVs 

- her soulmate POVs are most popular but she also is known for dueting act-along POVS with other popular creators

- also occasionally posts videos rating the best male actors/superheroes and once got into a long drawn out back to back war with someone on whether or not Captain America really had “America’s ass” 

- had a very popular multiple-part series about being a girl in the MCU dating the various Avengers but ended it abruptly after Endgame because “Natasha Romanoff deserved better and it hurts too much”

-she used to post occasional videos where she laments on being the “only single person in the family” but she started getting some very creepy duets and comments from actual adults so she told Julian and they both agreed it would be better for her to stop them

-- Julian did take the time to duet the people being inappropriate and explained very clearly that their actions were wrong and directed towards a LITERAL CHILD and shamed multiple accounts into flat out deleting

Ty: Posts literally whatever interests him. Has two animal series - one where he shares facts about his favorite kinds of animals and one where he showcases various animals he’s found in the tidepools or around the house. 

- has done several video series of rescuing animals and has at least one where Julian could be heard lecturing him on trying to raise wild animals in his bedroom again 

-- tiktok freaked out because this happened right around the same time as Julian calling out all the creeps on Livvy’s tiktok and no one knew that the twins he talked about were them

The Happiest Place on Earth by Team_Alpha_Wolf_Squadron (Gen, 11.3K, Rated T): Bruce and the kids take a trip to Disneyworld and it is just so cute, I legit cried at the end. The Batfam doing normal family stuff is always great and every kid gets a day with Bruce, highlighting each relationship beautifully.

Lost At Sea, And I’m Having A Time by whaleofatime (Gen, 16.1K, Rated T):  On a mission with Jason to deal with pirates in the Caribbean, Bruce finds himself ejected overboard and accidentally lost at sea. This is one of the funniest stories I have read in my life, the humour is superb. If you need something to make you laugh, go read this.

Best Served Wet by RandomReader13 (Gen, 2.3K, Rated T): Dick and Bruce teach Jason how to swim during his Robin days. Years later he gets revenge. Super sweet, I’ve read this one probably a hundred times. Perfect if you need something to make you smile.
