I was thinking about how people poke fun at Reigen for being friends with middle schoolers but then I realized. One of Mobs closest friends is his boss. Like imagine some kid asking Mob to hang out and Mobs like “oh I was actually planning to ask my friend to hang out that day so maybe next week!” and the kid asks who this friend is and Mob says “my boss ^-^”. Your fucking boss??? You’re in middle school!

Just imagine rumors going around that Mob is so bad at making friends he attached himself to some dude trying to make a living who just plays along with this random kid because he pities him, and Ritsu desperately trying to save his brothers image before admitting to himself with devastation that well they’re kind of right actually. Only difference is that Mob does have other friends; he keeps showing up because he genuinely values this guy and that this burdened business owner isn’t burdened at all because he matches Mobs energy.

They’re both kind of losers but in a sweet way leave them be lol.
