my new head canon is that right after broken — when ianto and jack agree to be together only for one night — ianto didn’ t really want / need to have sex and jack knew that.

they kissed each other a lot (spoiler: they made out for only god knows how long) and once they arrived to the bedroom jack broke the moment without scaring ianto away; he took his clothes off and stripped ianto of his, he slowly laid him on the bed and kissed his nose, his lips and went down to his jaw, neck and chest.

jack kissed every inch of his skin taking his time, he wanted ianto to feel everything ianto prohibited himself: lips on his, warmth, hands exploring his body, being appreciated — held, perhaps even feeling loved for a few instants.

ianto was probably too broken to care about jack would do with and to him, he just wanted to feel something, anything that would numb his heart and fog his mind; his body responded to jack’ s in a way that did not reflect what was going in his mind and despite the lust and apparent consent jack did not dare to do anything that would go beyond appreciating ianto through kissing and touching him.

jack held ianto in his arms and i’ d like to think that ianto felt so overwhelmed that at one point a few tears fell from his eyes without him even noticing and jack kissed away every single one of them until ianto calmed down a little and eventually fell asleep, his body exhausted and his heart a little less broken.

31 days of Ficmas - Doctorrose, day 9. Prompt: Biscuits/Cookies @doctorroseprompts

Rose and the Doctor were curled up together on the sofa, tea and coco on the table next to them alongside a collection of various cookies from planets they'd been to and some Jammie Dodgers- which the Doctor had insisted upon.

The film playing in front of them was the Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. They'd seen it together in theaters in his last body, but there was something so nice about just staying in and watching a movie. Treats piled high as you were under the blankets.

At a certain point Rose could hear someone walking through the TARDIS hallway, probably Nardole come to tell them they have to return to their responsibility of guarding the vault. Nevermind the fact it's the holidays.

So, when the media room door creaked open, Rose opened her mouth. Fully prepared to tell Nardole that he can piss off because it is the holidays and bloody hell she is going to spend it with her husband!

And so, she was more then a bit surprised when Bill came in. A cuppa in her hands, "Uh- Rose. I can't find any cookies or biscuits, do you..." her voice trailed off as she (presumably) spotted all of the cookies piled on the table.

Rose smiled, "Sorry. And also- how many times do I have to tell you to call me 'Gran'?"

Laughing Bill waved her hand, "Alright, alright. Sorry Gran."

"Much better."

Bill walked closer, careful not to spill her drink on the floor- she'd done it once on accident and the TARDIS had hidden the galley from her for a week. Settling into the chair beside Rose she leaned over, "What're you watching?"

"Puss in Boots," the reply came from the Doctor, who was looking over. He tugged his wife closer to him as Bill tilted her head.

"Really?"

"Yes, it comes out in 2022. Not for another few years in your time."

She made a noise of consideration before speaking, "Mind if I join?"

"Feel free, Bill. This one." Rose lightly hit the Doctor on the chest, "Could stand to share me for a while." she smiled sweetly as Bill pulled a blanket over her before resuming the movie.

So there's... far too much to unpack with regard to these genuinely awful people we used to know through my shitbag nazi cousin- they were her shitbag nazi husband's shitbag nazi parents from eastern germany -but among their many, many, many objectionable qualities they saw fit to give me a weirdly horny advent calendar every christmas, where you like pluck the little window open and take the mediocre chocolate out and there's boobs underneath or whatever. And at the time we were trying so hard to just get along with these people* so I was like "right, different culture, nudity is much less taboo in Germany, this is probably a perfectly normal gift to give someone you barely know" and had to sort of go "Thhhhaaaaaaaanks!"

And like. Look. I'm straight (as Bob Belcher says, "I mean, I'm mostly straight) but I'm kinda low libido and/or demisexual idefk which and mostly, any sort of public acknowledgement of horniness just makes me slightly uncomfortable. And these women were... like I'm sure they're fine, I'm sure there are lots and lots of men who like that whole bleach-blonde plastic boobs spray tan kind of look or else it wouldn't have been a thing at various points in horny history, but I'm not one of those men, these women do not really appeal to me much at all. Like if they'd gotten me a 'flirty bespectacled goth nerdy girls' calendar it still would've been awkward as hell but at least a little more targeted, you know?

Anyhow this is getting off track. The point was that it was honestly the most painfully awkward part of a whole painfully awkward ordeal with these fucking people and so no, I don't want to respond to your fucking Facebook message ya freaks.

i know that in fanfic a lot of it is wish fulfilment or catharsis but when you take a Character who is a parent to other Characters

(ie they are both protagonists of distinct stories, rather than one being a supporting cast for another)

and flatten them down to "good parent" or "bad parent" it's always gonna feel vaguely disappointing imo
