I've been thinking about this for a while but I'm really baffled. I saw someone post a while back that Collies are getting larger, their Collie (quite small) is a more traditional size, but everyone I've asked who was in the breed 50 years ago agrees that Collies are getting smaller (this was even a complaint 50 years ago!). I don't know where this idea comes from. Maybe Collies in, like, the late 19th century were smaller, but it seems to me that they were declining in size as early as the 70s, where I've found articles bemoaning that Collies are turning into Shelties or that Collies aren't over 75 pounds anymore.

I think it'd be a lot more tragic if José wasn't the antagonistic asshole we all assume him to be. At least, not from his point of view.

Could you imagine a José who is genuinely trying to be friendly with his baby brother in his own weird way; initiating meaningless competitions between them because he can see how excited Alejandro gets when his competitive fire is nurtured, playfully roughhousing with him as a form of bonding, trying to set a good example for his baby brother by meeting their parents impossibly high standards and encouraging him to do the same, so on so forth.

A José who's completely oblivious to Alejandro's hostility towards him, who perhaps makes himself too present in his younger brother's life because of how vacant his older brother Carlos had been to him. Who genuinely thinks that Alejandro shares the same perspective on their relationship - since their parents have all but banned healthy communication in their household, and the Burromuertos at large are in the habit of masking their true feelings/thoughts.

I just think it'd be interesting to explore things from José's point of view without making him some irredeemable villain. Plus, learning how Alejandro really views him from a reality television show of all things would beprime angst material.

wandavision style steddie au where steve had escaped the lab so long ago that he doesn't remember having powers, barely remembers the time his parents told him that he was adopted... but when eddie dies, and steve sees dustin breakdown at his grave, something just snaps.

their little town is bubbled in a little illusion, sent back to the 50s and eddie is alive. he's dustins big brother and they clearly adore each other. steve is just the babysitter, he's not important to them or their story. and they are the main characters. steves more of an audience member, getting to watch them be happy.

but, despite the rules that the whole illusions tries to force on them, they manage to draw steve into the main story by the time it changes to the 70s. dustin is the one to suspect something being wrong bc he doesn't remember being close to steve but... he's so sure that steve is his brother, not eddie.

it's in the 80s that steve and eddies flirting blooms into a full relationship. and, despite robin repeatedly pointing out how odd it is, homophobia essentially does not exist. and eddie doesn't have any memories outside of the illusion, he doesn't see the problem.

but, by the 90s, steve has exhausted himself. his nose keeps bleeding, the illusion is breaking down, the other decades keep glitching into the 90s. el is able to access her powers again, is able to talk to the others.

when they finally talk to eddie, the best bet on getting through to steve, he has to take some time to process. bc he's dead, and whatever he is now? it's not real.

he does talk to steve though. he does his best to help him through his grief, especially when steve tells him that he doesn't think the eddie that died would have ever loved him and now he doesn't know what to do with himself, bc he can't just stop loving eddie.

during their goodbye, eddie asks him how accurate he is, how close to the real eddie he is. dustin swears up and down that eddie is exactly the same. he is, essentially, the real eddie.

"that proves you wrong," eddie would tell steve, smiling as the illusion crumbles. "I would've loved you, if I had the time."

I would tend to agree with them I mean of course none of us know the ins and outs of the situation but the UK has pretty strict privacy laws (GDPR) and whilst I'm sure all their company cars are tracked with GPS the legality of accessing that data would be very strict and they would need a legitmate reason for doing so. Checking up on where your employee is going in their private time would not be considered a legit reason under any circumstance save suspicion of criminal activity or something. And not to mention that not only was that information accessed, it was then seemingly spread to multiple Alpine employees, who in turn spread it to the press and we can assume that's where all the Ocon/Williams rumours came from in the last few weeks.

Like disregard the fact it was Williams he visited for a moment and let's say instead it was a hospital. So they have checked his GPS because [insert dodgy reason here] and found he spent 5 hours at a hospital. They then tell other staff this. They then spread it to the press. Then the media would be speculating about why he was at a hospital. That would be a pretty insane (and illegal) breach of privacy, right?

One thing that no-one's mentioned yet but really bothers me besides the funky expressions, is how badly the heads are connected to necks on some characters. One of the neck muscles is supposed to connect straight under our ears yet some characters like female Dom have massive gaps between the ear and neck. It would be more acceptable if the heads were turned directly towards the viewer but Choices characters have their heads turned slightly sideways. Here's how Dom looks and is approximately supposed to look:
