I was going off in the hashtags… but also.

We know this man is into kink. That’s widely been accepted since at least last season.

But also, he’s a masculine guy. So I’d venture to guess this is probably the first relationship where he can lean into his own kinks and not feel like he has to be the one leading the charge. Like, Tommy wants him to explore and figure it out.

So can we just let the man figure out what he likes without ten other cooks in the kitchen telling him it’s wrong?

There is always a discussion to be had about homophobia and women's assumptions about how queer men "should behave" when it comes to Bi Buck as it is in canon, but even more than that (IMO)? We've got A LOT of queer women - never mind the hets - projecting their experiences with queerness and in relationships AS WOMEN onto MEN. For example, people were getting real bitchy when the queer men in this fandom (who are far outnumbered, ofc) started pushing back against the criticism from the finale dinner date, especially the daddy kink joke. "Oh, so because I'm a WOMAN I can't have an opinion?" Uh, the opinion isn't the true problem. The problem is that they, as women, think their perception should be taken more seriously than those coming from the men who actually have knowledge about the things those fans don't like. Putting yourself in Buck's position AS A WOMAN and saying "If I were him..." is automatically irrelevant when you cannot possibly know what the "correct" or "appropriate" way to react would be UNLESS YOU ARE A MAN. And more specifically, A QUEER MAN.
