I recently discovered some photos my older sister took when she saw One Direction in 2013. I'm sure you can imagine how devastatingly envious I am of her, and seeing these actually made me feel kind of sick to my stomach at first. But, I have to give it to her, she took some pretty decent photos. So, I figured I'd share some of them with my 1D tumblr girlies, because we deserve a treat after the exhausting few months we've had. Also, I just really love that picture of Zayn. He's so cutie.

so on the subject of the "Crowley is secretly Revaan/Laverne/Levin/please Twst give us his name" theory, I think my feelings are best summed up as "I don't really buy it, but it's funny". like, in all seriousness, I'm not opposed to it; I have enjoyed the writing in Twst so far and I'm willing to trust that whatever happens will, you know, make sense and not be terrible. but I'm just not really convinced by the current evidence! maybe that'll change once we learn more, we'll see!

with that said, may I propose a few alternate theories about the possible Crowley/Revaan connection:

listen I know it’s kind of corny and inaccurate to act like every single person in the dc universe knows each other and is besties but it IS endlessly funny to me to follow the web of connections and see how many degrees removed from each other everyone is.

like look at the arrowfam okay. ollie and dinah are together, ollie is homoerotic best friends with hal, dinah is homoerotic best friends with babs. roy is dating dick, has a kid with jade, and is basically an adoptive father to both grant emerson and rose wilson. connor is dating kyle and is constantly followed around by eddie fyers. mia is friends with a lot of the second gen teen titans kids, had an on-again-off-again thing going on with steph for a while, and is currently dating sienna. emiko is besties with courtney and some of the other recent teen titans. sin has a small army of protective aunts from the birds of prey. the real question is how far does it go before ollie puts a cap on the number of people who are invited to family brunch on sundays

The pacing in s2 really distracted us all from really inspecting how funny and genuinely fascinating Jinx and Viktor's one and only direct interaction was. I don't mean the snark, I mean Viktor had to have known Jinx fired the rocket, either from gossip in Zaun or being literally in a bunch of Zaunites (and Salo's head).

There's no way that Viktor didn't know practically killed him and irrevocably altered the trajectory of his life. In fact, he's likely gotten all kinds of angles on who Jinx is from everyone in the commune. Viktor really could seen from the periphery if his followers' minds the Jinx's growth from Vander's black sheep to Silco's darling terror. And after seeing all the things she's done, he invites her live at his commune!!!!!!

You know, i didnt really realise this until i was reading into it properly but

It says that Garmadon took more risks after the Aspheera incident, not after the venom. Which implies the venom didn’t make him reckless and impulsive which i’d assumed at first tbh, ive seen a lot of posts say it too.

Which kinda implies the venom more likely affects emotions which are already there and probably amplifies them by corrupting said feelings?

I mean, it says here Garmadon became impulsive after the Aspheera incident, where the FSM started talking to them less out of paranoia and probably realising his kids weren’t mature enough to know about certain things.

What if the reason why is that the Aspheera incident and his father’s reaction caused resentment to build up in Garmadon? Then Garmadon started questioning his father and started seeing much less reason to obey his father as well so took risks and broke rules.

Then he got bitten by a snake whose venom caused him to become more impulsive and affected his thoughts and feelings? I say this because of the “It’s all Wu’s fault!” thing he said in the show. In other books, Garmadon goes on to blame himself not Wu, which really shows how he really feels and how he first blamed Wu due to the venom, not because of how he felt.

(Tbh i also feel if Wu was the one who got bit, Garmadon would blame himself the same way Wu did for centuries after. Like “I’m his big brother! Why didn’t I go? Why was I such a coward?”

On another note, sad Wu hours 😔, my boy had to grow up fast because of trauma. To be honest, it’s not uncommon for 7-year olds to test the limits of whats allowed and whats not. Breaking rules is normal kid behaviour to me, it’s just more extreme because Wu and Garmadon are the FSM’s kids (whose basically god in Ninjago.)

I imagine 7-year old Wu didn’t properly understand the consequence or the concept of going onto Serpentine land. Which isn’t illogical, he’s 7 years old. I imagine Garmadon was at least 10 (or maybe Wu was 10 and Garmadon was 13 idk) which means Garmadon being more responsible is more understandable, he knew more than Wu and understood more.

I also still find it so so sad how their roles flipped. Wu was always more curious and explorative which is why he went everywhere. I bet you he was the kid running and throwing himself in mud with his brother screaming at him not too lmao, or even the kid eating random plants as Garmadon tried to stop him. Wu’s curiosity and recklessness is still in him in adulthood, he’s very unhinged if you actually look deeper into him.

I've met some absolute rancid people who took so much pride in the fact Thomas sees their art regularly. I had a dream last night the girl I am very notably Only Friends with Rn (she said no flirting 🤕) texted me something like "i like you too much I can't do this I can't be really dependent on someone at this time in my life" and I had to be like damn okay bc like im disappointed I won't be able to have this relationship but I have "this shit ain't nothin to me man" disease so I can't be like "stick around so I can barely love you and take you out to dinner sometimes". But luckily this was a dream so I don't actually have to deal with this.

upon rational wakeful consideration this would actually never happen because in high school she told me my personality is like. not noble enough for her I guess so she's never gonna be That Into me (okay she offhandedly said this once) (the REAL reason she wasn't into me in high school is because my relationship (very close/affectionate friends) w her was inadvertently the final straw that caused her first serious boyfriend to break up with her, and the whole ordeal was really messy and painful so my involvement with it kinda fucked our relationship up) (their relationship wasnt even that good in the first place & she told me she's not ready for a real romantic relationship bc she doesn't want to be overly dependent on anyone like she was with him, which is why I had this dream, but she does think I'm attractive so like maybe we can cuddle on the couch sometime) where was i. Right she's never gonna be That into me, probably, which is great because I have mental diseases, and a little part of my head is going WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE about it & to that I say. Literally nothing, we are straight up just friends rn bc she takes things very slowly & I'm no longer clinging to the idea that getting her to love me would mean I'm a Good Person (i no longer gaf) so actually I am just chilling here. nothing is happening. but also what the fuck
