Sometimes it just hits me all over again how fucking insane Cody is. Like, Grievous is an enemy general who regularly kills Jedi, is armed with four (4!!!!!) lightsabers, and has in canon wiped out entire battalions full of clones when Jedi try to confront him. And Cody just. balls to the wall goes for it and full-on tackles the bastard. Dog-piles the guy who's killed more Jedi than probably any one single person. And he punches Grievous in his (metal!!!) face while he's at it.

And! His men follow his lead.

What the hell kind of charisma and pure brass balls do you have to have for that. Honestly.

Spoilers from season 4 of White Collar

Do you ever think about what happened after the end credits of the last episode of season 4?

Neal breaking down alone in his apartment thinking about everything he did to help James and to prove his innocence just to find out it was all true

That he literally fight Peter for investigating Sam/James (when he didn't know he was his father) because Peter wanted to protect him

Him choosing to trust Sam/James and putting Mozzie and Peter on the side for sometime

Him thinking about Ellen

Peter who has been taking care of him and had been like a father figure is now in prison because he chose to help him and James by putting his career at risk and being rewarded with a charge of murder and he doesn't know how to help him

Thinking about the sweet things and compliments James said to him just for him to be threatened by his own dad when he begged for him to help Peter

Elizabeth finding out everything and blaming Neal

The side eyes at the office

Not to mention he had to say goodbye to Sara too

White collar handles angst in such a great way because 3/4ths of the characters are emotionally mature, well-regulated people so when things like El getting kidnapped for the treasure go down, Peter doesn’t blame Neal or Mozzie, and even hears out Neal’s side on how he got the treasure. El doesn’t hold any resentment either because she recognizes Keller is to blame even though he was after their treasure.

I wouldn’t have blamed them for being more mad at Mozzie and Neal, but the fact they understood where they were coming from and never misappropriately assigned blame (Peter even tells Mozzie to stop blaming himself, because it was Keller who kidnapped El) is such a huge indicator of their maturity.

Also, Peter being able to see Neal be willing to confess and go to jail for his part in stealing the treasure allowed him to see that his good influence WAS changing Neal too. Peter recognizes that Neal is genuinely trying to be better, even if he can’t fully kick his habits, so even when Neal fucks up, he always keeps that in mind.

There are other examples, but how they handled the treasure fallout really stood out.

Jon is spot on here. It is Hangman’s tunnel vision chasing that belt. It’s Jay being Jay and only aiming for more gold. The only one in that ring fighting for AEW is Orange Cassidy.

The only way AEW can beat the Death Riders is by putting aside egos. And If Hangman, Jay and OC can come together and lead the locker room against the Death Riders, won’t that be what Jon wanted out of all of this?
