I feel like I've been quiet on here the last few days, and that's because I've been spending my free time building knock-off Legos Mega Bloks

now that natlan is out it's tsaritsa yearning hours again because i am one nation closer to either being horribly disappointed or foaming at the mouth!

creator!reader w a little side of conflicted tsaritsa is such good food I can't not yap about it. a woman who has dedicated so much of her life to severing herself from "love" of all kinds and succeeding and. just being so confident that when she meets you she's bitter and angry and mean. because she can't stand you. she isn't supposed to love yet you worm your way into her heart anyway and you don't even know it.

especially in smth like an imposter au. she tells herself your just a tool for her to use but your treated like the Divine you really are, pampered and spoiled every step. tells herself it means nothing when she indulges you – let's you hold her hand in private, eventually let's you move aside the veil, just a little.

and she hates it. hates how easy it is to let you break down the ice she's built up for years.

all you do is smile and she feels like she can't breathe. because despite how violently she rejects love in all aspects, it always bleeds through eventually. she despises it but the way you brush your thumbs over her cheeks makes her bitter and warm and it infuriates her to no end.

she hates you and she loves you and she can't stand you and if you were ever taken from her she'd destroy every inch of teyvat if she had to go get you back.

and ironically enough I think she'd also be the one to initiate any first kiss. maybe she's still trying to convince herself it's just a fluke and itll make her realize it meant nothing, it means nothing. desperate to fix whatever you've done to her and instead it just makes it worse.

a horrible mess of a woman who gave up on love just to be confronted with it when she finally accepted it's absence.

how long does it take you to draw your sketches/doodles? also do you have any tips to draw faster? 🙇‍♀️

I generally take 30 - 60 minutes a sketch,,,, but honestly really depends on how detailed it is.

Like a Chibi will be done in 20 - 25 minutes (Counting in the extra time I spend on minute details like a perfectionist 😭)

I for some reason really like spending egregious amounts of time on random objects too??? Unless it’s the in the background, I’ll spend 40 minutes refining it.

Random characters that are fully colored and rendered with take like 80 minutes.

The comics take usually take an hour or two per page. (If I decide to cross hatch it, my entire day will be gone with 4 pages… so I’ve been trying to find shortcuts. But not without sacrificing the quality for time lol)

I don’t think there’s any trick or magic to drawing faster. It’s really about weaponizing your artistic knowledge, and finding what’s comfortable or convenient for you!

There was a period of time where I would spend 11 or 12 hours on an illustration, and it wASS UGLYYYYY. (Some of these artworks are still available on my tumblr,,, but it’s SO LONG AGO, AND IT WAS MY 1ST OR 2ND YEAR GETTING INTO DIGITAL ART)

Overtime I learned what worked best for me, and practiced till I felt more comfortable with what I was drawing. Eventually I managed to shorten the time to 4 hours or less! Ambition was my biggest enemy but at the same time my biggest motivator. (And it still is LMFAO) 😭

EDIT (bit more to my way too long tangent): ALSO??? BRO DON’T BE AFRAID TO USE YOUR MESSY SKETCH AS LINEART OR DRAW ON TOP OF IT. I’VE DONE IT FOR YEARS NOW AND IT ADDS SUCH A GOOD EXTRA BIT OF TEXTURE,, AT THIS POINT I DON’T EVEN USE LINE-ART ANY MORE UNLESS IT’S A COMMISSION,, (IT’LL ADD LIKE AN 2-4 HOURS TO MY WORK)

I’m fully in love with Jemima, but I don’t really count her as fully ensemble, just because of her multiple solos, and because of that, Pouncival is my favorite ensemble cat :)

He’s just the silliest ever, and I’m 100% obsessed. I love the way he’s hanging with the girls in skimbelshanks (the girls and pouncival™️), and me and my friends had a running joke for a while that was literally just iterations of “the girls, the gays, and pouncival <3”

🎬. What’s your favorite moment from the show?:

Moments of Happiness, 1998, specifically Jemima’s solo. It’s so perfect, ethereal, emotional, and whimsical. I can play it on the piano, and I can sing it :] it also makes me cry

💛. What’s your favorite familial ship?:

I’m not entirely sure what this means, but I’m a huge fan of Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer as siblings, PLUS Electra as their kid sister. I came up with it once and I think it’s super cute :D

Monochromatic siblings are a must, they’re also very special to me, along with Jennyanydots and Skimbleshanks as brother and sister :)

Wild is child who you need to keep stimulated so you can get things done. When I was younger I loved watching food network especially iron chef, unwrapped and good eats along with the holiday specials and it was to the point where my parents would have vhs tapes and dvds filled with the stuff to turn on for me when they needed to do important work and I see the chain or his s/o doing the same on his slate for him.

the only reason wild is able to cook so well is because whoever took care of him in the castle made him watch cooking shows whenever he wasn't training-- what's more, they would put on competitive cooking shows and that's why he's so critical of others cooking when he eats, it's canon, zelda told me herself

when it comes to keeping him busy nowadays, the chain or his s/o probably do it to keep him from finding out about a surprise or something. maybe they have to beckon him away somewhere private, sit down with him for a few minutes to watch an episode with him, and then leave to do whatever they have to do-- or maybe they're trying to finalize some paperwork but he keeps bothering and pulling them away, so they treat them like a cat by pulling up a chair and putting on a video while they work

i havent posted about it since halloween because i literally havent worked on it since halloween but the clown is going well ^_^

#for one the shirt is um actually a functioning one puece shirt with a zipper. rather than Something im safetypinned into #last pic is the lining gor the vest but my lighting makes it look not gold. Its gold. my entire family goes to bed at 9:30 because i live with fucking old people (im joking. somewhat.) and from then on i have to move around the house quietly. this wouldn't be a problem except that my door is incredibly and uniquely fucked up and nigh impossible to open even remotely quietly

#and it can't be left open because the cat will beeline into my room and make my life hell #every door in my house is absolutely fucking horrible in its own way but my room is really bad #the doorknob is like. dislocated. or just made for a much thicker door because the middle part of it is like 3 cm too long #and i either have to align it carefully or pull on it (makes a very loud sound) and then using a very specific amount of pressure turning #while continuing to pull on it so it won't pop #oh and i can technically open it turning both directions but going right makes it pop so fucking loud it's actually ridiculous #the very unpleasant sound of painted metal on painted metal #kiwifae says shit #my partner of two years is just getting the hang of my bedroom door #my friend came over and literally got stuck in the bathroom cuz she couldn't make the door open again #she literally tried for a few seconds and then just yelled for me 😭#that door also pops open randomly sometimes. i do not know why. it didn't use to.#back when the front door was still semi functional i had to fish the literal latch out of the cavity in the lock with a screwdriver cuz my #mom kept slamming the door and misaligning it even though we told her that's what fucks it up #we can only deadbolt that door now. it literally won't close otherwise. (that's how we lost the cat for five days!)#(back when it still semi worked i was the only one who knew how to close it at just the right strength so it would stick but not fall out)#((why isn't there an eye twitch emoji))#but our other outside door exclusively has a deadbolt. that's the only mechanism.#i'm the fucking door wizard in my house and i cannot WAIT to move somewhere where i have functional semi modern door handles #gawd bless i want to kill my fucking landlady

(it is actually extremely impressive she managed to catch fleas when she never leaves the house and I leave the house only to take out my bins, and etc etc the list goes on, the vet was impressed with her flea acquiring skills let's put it that way)

#my cats #kiadanta #anyway yeah both the cat and the entire house are getting extensively flea treated #though not with the same products #for obvious reasons #in fact it's only taking so long because my house is inconveniently partitioned #so i need to lock the cat up in a separate ventilated room while different parts of the house get sprayed and aired out #and this must be repeated at least a couple times #because fleas are immune to poison when theyre cocooned so you can only catch the larvae and adults right away #and sometimes the cocoons can last a hecking while #slaps roof of cat / this babygirl can fit so many flea #this is why beans video is delayed btw #anyway other than the fleas the cat is entirely healthy. vet was pleased #and now she will poison any flea that tries to drink from her so that's nice #been enjoying picking dead fleas out of her fur #serves them right for infiltrating the fur of Kiadanta my beloved

Cat has learned that she can bring her toys to me and I'll throw them for infinite hunting fun.

Unfortunately, she has also learned that she can smack her toys off the top step and cut out the middle man (me), much to the displeasure of both the people on the other side of my stairs and the people below me 😐

#cat #kitten #the longer i have her the more I'm finding out that she's a really smart cat. which is not good.#i don't have the means to catproof a lot of the stuff she gets into #i figured she'd be a big dumb baby like most cats. just two brain cells and all the bastard energy #but she has the normal level of bastardry as most cats but is like smarter than most I've had #and that scares me #like. when she does something she shouldn't there's like a sentience in her eyes that says 'yeah. i did that. what are you gonna do?'#and sometimes the answer is lock her in the bathroom or laundry room for a bit #cleaning is impossible. if i don't lock her away she destroys all my progress.#she's learned how to break into the dog's food and the drawer where i keep her toys at night #(because if i don't lock up her toys she'll bring all of them to my bed and drop them on me but also play with them loudly so i can't sleep)#she's figured out she can lift up one of my smaller rugs and push her toys underneath so she can hunt them there #she knows how to set off my motion activated hall light and does so if I'm not giving her enough attention (while I'm sleeping!!!?!)
