@normaltothemax: Ooh meta about John and children. How he sees himself vs. how he actually is with them <3 — SEND META TOPICS.
oh he thinks he's horrendous with children. he thinks nobody in their right mind should ever let him look after a kid / spend time with their kids, because he's terrified about being a bad influence or turning his back at the wrong moment. even when he really makes an effort to do everything right by your most puritanical housewife's standards — no smoking, no swearing, no drinking, PG movies — he's always convinced that something's going to happen, some accident or tragedy that he won't be able to prevent, especially someone looking to get to him and using the kid or their family to do it. it's happened several times before, and it'll probably happen again. it's one of the reasons he can't really see himself being a dad, even though on some level i think he would have liked that. (in his new 52 verse with his daughter rose porter, he is very much a helicopter parent for this reason; he's always terrified of something happening to her because of his reputation.)
aside from the obvious life-or-death fears, he tends to feel out-of-place and clumsy and careless when he's around kids; he's someone who works best with a plan, even just the kernel of one, but around kids he's always improvising, with their clever questions and inane curiosities. he also has zero concept of what constitutes a normal response to an average question, most of the time, because it's not like he's lived a normal life; turns out the right answer to "sometimes i see a scary man in my closet" is not, in fact, "well he's probably dead, so."
in reality, he's mostly only a bad influence insofar as swearing and normalizing obscene amounts of cigarette-smoking; he's actually really fucking good with kids. he had an awful childhood and he remembers vividly all the ways he used to wish adults in his life would treat him, all the times he wanted a hand to hold or a hug; to inflict any kind of hardship on a child would mean he's become his father, and that's a fate worse than death to him. he's incredibly protective of kids, he's a genuinely good listener, and he communicates with them like they're adults (which isn't always a good thing, considering the way he communicates with other adults, but he doesn't condescend or brush them off). he's childish enough to know & engage with what they might consider fun, and he's always willing to risk embarrassment to play along with a game or coax out a smile. he would risk absolutely anything if it meant saving a kid's life, and he will ruin the existence of anyone who so much as thinks about hurting a child. (even though he has pushed the occasional snotty bastard into a duck pond before. he stuck around to make sure they could swim, though.)
now, the intersection of the two is this: sometimes he's so good with kids, and they like him so much, that they start to emulate him. which includes getting involved in the occult and starting down the same path he did when he was younger, with all the pitfalls and harsh learning curves and horrors that come with it. this is what happened with his niece gemma, and he regrets that every day of his life.
all things considered, his primary strategy towards dealing with children is that he doesn't. it's safer for them, and it's less stressful for him.
#normaltothemax#i see quite a few people on tumblr complain about fic writers & fans wanting to see constantine as a dad and i'm like. why#it's a FASCINATING role to put him in!! the mental gymnastics he would be doing are gold medal worthy!!#he has so much unresolved trauma from his father & from newcastle and i for one would love to see him manage it#while at the heart of a scenario where he has to develop his own parenting style & set an example over time#would he be a perfect parent? fuck no. and there is always a non-zero chance that he panics and leaves the kid with someone else#especially if danger rears its ugly head and he thinks his presence is a danger to them#and there are all the resulting hang-ups that follow that. how long before he comes back. potentially being denied a subsequent relationshi#but god there is SO MUCH to explore. i just think constantine is exceptional with kids#and that can be as much of a bad thing as if he wasn't#( headcanons. ) I'M JUST LIKE THE BASTARDS I'VE HATED ALL ME LIFE.#( answered. ) THIS IS JOHN CONSTANTINE. FUCK OFF.

HELLO lovely human! I have an request!!
Can you make another mpreg fic cuz I absolutely adored it!
But this time make one of the charachters the one pregnant? Just an cute fic♡
For house of the dragon! Maybe Maybe jacaerys any of them is okay really :)
Mpreg Jacaerys Velaryon and his brother reader
Tags : Mpreg, Targcest
When Jacaerys discovers he is pregnant, he is initially overwhelmed and unsure of how to feel; he often confides in his younger brother Y/N, who provides emotional support. Y/N sense the changes in Jacaerys and try to support him, ensuring that he feels no pressure from their family
In their quiet moments, Jaces finds solace in the company of his dragon, Vermax. He often asks Y/N to join him on rides to help keep his mind clear
Y/N’s protective instinct kicks in as Jacaerys's pregnancy progresses. They take on more responsibilities in the court, acting as a shield for Jacaerys while managing political tensions and family dynamics.
When they finally tell their family of Jacaerys's pregnancy their mother, Rhaenyra, offers her support. She shares stories of her own struggles and assures them of a loving and supportive environment.
Jacaerys begins to dream of a future where he and Y/N can live free of the constraints of their family. They imagine a peaceful life where they can raise their child away from the burdens of the Iron Throne.
Y/N becomes fiercely protective of Jace after learning of the pregnancy. He is wary of others’ intentions and often finds himself getting jealous or possessive. He restricts his interactions with certain individuals, fearing they might take advantage of the situation or harm them both.
As the pregnancy progresses, they spend time choosing names for their future child, blending Targaryen and Velaryon traditions. Each name has a significant meaning to them.
Jacaerys develops strong nurturing instincts. He often finds himself seeking out ways to take care of both Y/N and the unborn child, from insisting Y/N eats well to planning a safe space for when the baby arrives.
Jacaerys and Y/N create special rituals to bond with the unborn child, like reading stories or singing songs. These moments help strengthen their connection and solidify the family unit even before the baby arrives.
Amid the seriousness of their situation, Jacaerys and Y/N keep their connection light-hearted jokes They joke about what type of parents they might be, creating humorous scenarios about raising a dragon-riding child, even when they are both feeling anxious.

War of Faith Translated excerpts from the livestream where the cast watches ep 28-29 (spoilers under the cut)
Director Yao says that Wang Yang added this gesture of straightening Wei Ruolai's clothes in this scene (unscripted)
They get to the part where Wei Ruolai is being taken to the execution grounds. The MC asks Yibo: At that time was Wei Ruolai preparing to meet his death or did he think that he was going to be saved? Yibo: Who would think that there would be someone that would save him?
They watch Wei Ruolai run away from Lin Qiaosong Director Yao says about Yibo: He could join the Olympics sprint! He performed so well here.
Wang Yang (on when Shen Tunan realizes that Shen Jinzhen is the sniper who saved Wei Ruolai): [Tunan] is very conflicted, because on one hand, Wei Ruolai still lives, on the other hand, the person who saved him is Shen Jinzhen. So this was really difficult for him. Director Yao: He was always guessing that maybe his sister was a communist, a part of him had already prepared for this, but he didn't want to face the reality.
They watch Ruolai, after he has escaped from Lin Qiaosong and is alone with Niu Chunmiao. MC: At this time, director, do you think that Wei Ruolai is in a perplexed state of mind? Director Yao: Yes, because right now he is at a dead end. He has already given up his previous set of beliefs, but he has not yet found a new set of beliefs. He followed what his parents believed in, but he was unfamiliar with the communist set of values, which were different from what he knew. He had never met a communist, the only one he knew was his brother, but his brother passed away. So he didn't know the theories behind it. He wouldn't easily accept a new worldview that he was completely unfamiliar with. At this point, the two female characters helped to push him in that direction. The MC then asks Yibo to share what his thoughts are on Wei Ruolai's state of mind at this time. Yibo: I think the director's analysis is very well said. (gives a thumbs up)
Director Yao: Yibo is very good, he will immerse himself in his own imagined scenario, a certain atmosphere, in which he will then think about how the character will respond.
On Wei Ruolai's character development Director Yao: I think [the way Wei Ruolai's character develops] is more of a realistic take. A person will not think, I want to join the communists and immediately convert to that side. It's not realistic. We want the audience to believe in this process. His change happens one step at a time. Even when he arrives in Soviet Jiangxi, he didn't immediately join the Red Army. He wanted to see a bit more. Then after another incident happens, in his heart he holds a lot of resentment and hatred, there were things that he felt were unresolved in Shanghai; he met a group of lousy people and this made him angry, but there was nowhere to direct this anger. Then when he went to Soviet Jiangxi, he found the same thing that happened, but that the Red Army really seemed to treat those who are poor well. He thought, this is what I want, what he couldn't get where his shifu was, so this excited him.
Director Yao says that the little motorcycle that Yibo rode was vintage, and that it broke after Yibo rode it once.
They talk about the scene where Shen Tunan slaps Shen Jinzhen Director Yao: That day, Wang Yang's biggest dilemma was whether he should really slap her, while Li Qin was thinking about how she should respond to the slap. Wang Yang is quite softhearted. He had quite good control, he didn't actually hit her and his tears also came out. This is very difficult to control. That day Li Qin also said to him, "Ge, just go for it." But he never actually hit her. He's too softhearted. (jokingly) Once we got the scene I yelled cut right away. It was a difficult scene to film. The mentioned scene starts to play. The MC asks Yibo a question about Wei Ruolai but Yibo points to the screen and says (with a gremlin smirk): Let's continue to watch this scene Li Qin: The audience has already seen this. Yibo: Oh I haven't seen it yet Director Yao and Li Qin: Oh then watch!
The MC brings up that netizens discovered that Wei Ruolai, Shen Jinzhen, and Niu Chunmiao used the same red swallow cup, and that this was an easter egg that showed that they were all on the same side. The director clarifies that this was a coincidence.
The MC then asks: Did the actors themselves notice this detail? Yibo: I also only realized after it was pointed out.

i wonder how different the story would have gone if, instead of sending ryosuke, kamiki would have visited ai on his own.
the part of me that needs them to be happy says that while he isn't necessarily enamored with the twins at first, he still tries to his best with them. maybe they think he's their new babysitter at first, that'd be funny.
anyways, kamiki awkwardly co-parenting with ai and both of them fumbling through being exes and parents and still caring so deeply for eachother but also being too traumatized to properly communicate.
aqua and ruby are first hostile when they realize that this is the man that got ai pregante™, and then they become the twos biggest shippers. cue incredibly convoluted attempts to get them together again. (i feel that it is important to point out that they're still toddlers at that time, which would make this extra funny)
So the thing about HKAI and the mess that was their relationship is that Hikaru sending Ryosuke in his place is ultimately a symptom, not a cause. It is a consequence of his arrested development in regards to Ai and his inability to conceive of a world where the two of them exist separate of their relationship. To a degree, asking 'could Hikaru and Ai be happy if he didn't send Ryosuke' is kind of asking for Hikaru to be a different character, because at the place he's at at the moment he makes that decision, he can't not make that choice. I've described Ai's tragedy in the past as being simultaneously preventable and unavoidable and the same goes for Hikaru. It's like a fucked up reverse Oroborous - in order to create the conditions for him to be a happier and healthier person, he must already have started taking the steps towards becoming that person - or at least to be further down the road than he is at the equivalent point in canon.
Even if we remove Ryosuke from the picture, I can't really imagine things going that well. I kind of touched on it in a previous ask but even the one-sided conversation we hear that seals Ai's fate raises a lot of red flags for me. He leaps to assuming that Ai is trying to get back together with him and when gently turned down romantically but still offered an opening back into her life as the father of her children, he chooses to betray her trust and send someone to terrorize and potentially hurt Ai and their children so she could 'feel his despair'. Even if we believe his insistence that he really didn't think Ryosuke would kill her, this is still an utterly reprehensible thing to do. It implies a level of not just desire but outright entitlement - that he feels he has the right to 'punish' Ai for… what? Not wanting to rush back into a relationship with him after like, five years of minimal-to-no contact? When he's gone right ahead and proved that the issues that caused their breakup have not been resolved?
Obviously, this is not to say that Hikaru doesn't sincerely love Ai with all his heart or that he doesn't care for her at all. I actually think that contradiction between his clearly observable feelings for her and the actions he nevertheless chooses to take is really fascinating in what it adds to him as a character. A big part of the reason why Hikaru's so fucked up is because he's so deeply in love with Ai and so utterly unable to cultivate a nuanced or healthy relationship with his idea of her.
So… I guess if I'm honest, my vision of it is more Hikaru using visiting the twins as a way of leveraging his way back into Ai's life, successfully or otherwise. I don't really see a scenario where Hikaru is able to work out his shit and become a decent father or partner for Ai, just because too many of his issues are tangled up in this longed-for codependence with her. Maybe this older and wiser Ai could find a way to save him like she wished for, but… is it really fair to put that weight on her shoulders? Why should she, a person with her own desperate struggles and lack of support, go right back to performing the backbreaking emotional labor that contributed to that all-consuming codependence in the first place?
To be clear, I'm saying this as a proud HikaAi shipper who loves a fucked up life-warping codependent romance, but in the context of Oshi no Ko and when we're talking about what would actually make these characters happy, I think Hikaru and Ai, at the place they are at the time of the tragedy, are not in a position to make each other truly fulfilled and happy.
askslmdslkdlsmdsl i'm so sorry anon you sent me such a cute prompt and got this utterly harrowing essay in response 😭 I'M SORRY THAT'S JUST HOW IT CAME OUT

It's really funny cuz none of the pilgrims are aware of the demons of other countries that specifically target pregnant women—
What do you think it's gonna be like when a manananggal comes out at night and tries to cut open SWK's lower abdomen while their bowels are just sticking out? because the lower half of the manananggal's body is cut and will stand in place within a dark place (i.e, a forest, a cave or something) so that nobody can see/find it + can only be killed when garlic or salt is sprinkled on their lower body
I visualize it as either chaotic or just straight up something from a horror film—
I oddly think that the Stone Egg itself has a magic barrier around it to cushion damage from it's enviroment - being buried in the ground means it would be subject to earthquakes, volcanic activity, floods, the physical death of it's parent etc.
So imagine a scenario where the Pilgrim gang are staying the night in a somber village, hearing rumors of women losing their unborn children and suffering from horrific injuries or infection. Wukong i mega-sketched out, but the gang decides to investigate if it's a curse or something in case it follows them.
They don't seem to find any leads until an old merchant warns them of a bat-like creature said to inhabit the islands farther south-east. The animate flying torso of a woman that splits itself in half at night to target sleeping victims, particularly the pregnant.
The Pilgrims shudder at the implications.
That very night, the horse starts freaking tf out, waking the Pilgrims from their sleep where they see the figure of a bisected woman leaning over their eldest brother...
The whole Pilgrim group is freakings out, especially Wukong who's woken up to see this horrorfying demon cutting into his body. His heart fills with fear not for his own immortal body, but for the developing one he holds within.
The sharp tongue of the creature punctures through the furry stomach... only to find an Egg-shaped barrier of magic enveloping it's prize.
The creature is confused long enough for Zhu Bajie to crush and hold down it's top-half with his rake. Tripitaka and Sha Wujing have a brief argument on what the protocol is for this type of demon and recruit the old merchant to assist them in defeating the creature for good. The merchant explains the method to kill the creature by salting it's hidden lower half - Ao Lie gets a clever idea.
Flying over the village and the surrounding forest, Ao Lie and Sha Wujing convince the dragons of the local skies to rain saltwater down heavily upon the village before sunrise to flush out the creature's lower half.
At sunrise; the manananggal manages to escape from Bajie's grasp, only for a horrific screech to ring out as it tries to reconnect with it's lower body moments later.
The village is super greatful when they find the remains of the demoness, especially when they learn one of the Pilgrims was a pregnant person injured in the attack. The gang gets lots of alms for their troubles, and Wukong now knows his Egg has a layer of magic to cushion it from such threats.

Hey there I’m a huge fan of your works and stories ☺️💯. And I was wondering, what inspired you to write such a beautiful, tragic, and heartwarming story about Kanroji and Obanai?
First off, thank you so much! ☺️ I adore tragic romances, so when I finished reading Demon Slayer I was torn to shreds by Obanai and Mitsuri’s story. Their type of love is my ideal where they simply accept each other as they are. It’s simple and sweet.
They were stripped of their happy ending. If they just had the courage to express their feelings before the end, they could have been happy together. It hurt so much. Especially with the way Obanai viewed Mitsuri and believing he needed to be reborn just to be with her? Heartbreaking. Mitsuri would have loved him no matter what his upbringing was. They both viewed each other in a positive light, but the way they viewed themselves was negative. Obanai thought he was a corrupt, vile creature while Mitsuri was insecure and wanted acceptance. If they had been able to see themselves the way the other viewed them, they could have confessed before the final battle. It devastates me every time and I have to remedy it.
Anyway, I read a ton of fanfics for Obamitsu. “Nights” by Rottorex, Peppermint Tea” by prettyshimmie, and “to die nobly, to cleanse his filthy blood” by Clemsmelody helped inspire it. I started daydreaming and plotting out my own fic.
After a few days of thinking through plot points, I decided to go for it. “Wedding Plans” was supposed to be three chapters. 🙃 however, I kept writing more and more about Obanai’s backstory and deep dived into his psychology. I couldn’t just make him suddenly be better in two months and not explain how he got better. I wanted to show a realistic recovery for someone with depression, anxiety, and childhood abuse. It doesn't happen over night and it takes a lot of effort.
As someone with depression and anxiety, I drew from my own experiences. The part where Obanai didn’t know how to tie his shoes? My parents never taught me, so I taught myself. When you realize your parents didn’t teach you the bare minimum to dress yourself, it hits you like a brick. You explain away their actions and accept it as the norm because that’s what was expected of you.
With Mitsuri, I admire her personality. I love people who are exceptionally kind, always wear a smile, and genuinely care about you as person, not just for show. She’s a normal girl with insecurities and wishes to be accepted. Everyone can relate, I’m sure. Also, I love writing her awkward moments. I wanted to show a relationship gradually develop from a place of admiration and respect. Also, it was fun coming up with different scenarios and how to apply their past lives to the modern era.
To be honest, the parts I write in the Demon Slayer canon universe are primarily inspired by fan art. I wanted to highlight little actions and moments that lead to Mitsuri and Obanai falling for each other. I’m so excited to share the next flashback scene, but I don’t want to spoil it.
When it comes to writing, I love angst, but I have to even it out with lighthearted moments. Like Mitsuri making Obanai food for the first time and then he has a panic attack. My partner calls it "dark cotton candy fluff", which cracks me up. Plus with the cast of characters in Demon Slayer, it makes it easy to keep it heart warming. Kyojuro and Gyomei especially. 🥰
To sum it up, I was inspired to write Obanai and Mitsuri’s story in the modern era because I wanted to explore the beginnings of a relationship, Obanai’s past and family, and ultimately give them the happy ending they deserved.
As for my other Obamitsu fics, I write them on a whim and let my steam of conscious take over ("To my love", "Positive, Positive, Positive", "I want to live this life with you", and "Mrs. Iguro") Or they are discarded scenes from "Wedding Plans" (See "Bitter Torment").

Have you ever considered what a meeting of Alois would've been like with the current Dadbastian development? The anime and the 2nd season were both pretty bad in terms of uncomfortable fanservice and handling things very disrespectfully, but thinking back on Alois' character now as an adult, I really pity him as a clearly traumatised and intensely disturbed child, who through abuse has, much like Ciel, developed more 'adult behaviour' that is not appropriate for his age as a defence mechanism. It's probably thinking a bit too optimistically for Dadbastian to extend concern for those outside of his immediate phantomfam, but would you think that maybe, just maybe, Alois could trigger the same kind of protective urges as Ciel? Alternatively, if you were to write something similar to Coattails but instead for Alois and co, do you have any headcanons on how you'd otherwise depict their relationship? Dad Claude? Dlaude??? Thank u for indulging my whimsical ass & sorry for the wordvomit
Hi, anon! As a fellow whimsical ass, I'll do my best to answer your question. Boy, okay, lots to consider here...
First off, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the phrase "current Dadbastian development", but I'm going to assume you're referring to what's happening in Coattails because I don't think there's been any Dadbastian development in the manga that I've missed.
Second off, our feelings on Alois are the same. I was nineteen when season 2 came out and I didn't like it at all, I found its handling of certain themes pretty deplorable and I mean. It was a mess. At the time, I felt indifferent to disturbed by Alois, and ultimately just went away pretending the whole season never happened. However, the current fandom has made me realize that Alois is a character with a lot of potential who was definitely in the wrong hands. It's very sweet to me how many fans still care for him as if he were their adopted son and have come out with some extremely creative and realized content of him. It gives me a better appreciation for him and what he could have been.
So now to actually attempt your question. Again, assuming you're asking about Coattails, Sebastian is only really interested in being a parent to Ciel and a caretaker of varying degrees to the rest of the Phantomfam members. I think he would be able to feel sympathy for Alois's situation, but he's no bleeding heart. I'm not really sure what the scenario is here where somehow Alois and Sebastian are getting to know each other and also Alois might want Sebastian to help him over another person already in his life? It's a little difficult to answer...
And if it was in regards to canon Seb, well... yeah, he's pretty disinterested in anyone that doesn't directly benefit or threaten his contract. I don't think he would do anything to make Alois's life better.
While I hate canon Claude, I certainly think fan content can utilize him as a father figure if they made some tweaks to his character. My bud Em has explored that in this fanfic that I enjoy, and I think she's probably a better judge of Dad-Claude than I could ever be (she might even write a longer story about it someday!). Sort of going off her example, I would keep Claude's awkward/stiff personality intact and get rid of his bad-touch vibes (obviously). Unlike Coattails Sebastian, who is accustomed to big emotions but is new to love specifically, I don't think Coattails Claude would be used to feeling anything outside of his own control. He's also not very playful so he would probably have to learn to let go of things and I just realized I'm describing Bambi's dad's journey in Bambi II so god fucking dammit I did it again—
tl;dr there are so many people who can answer this question better than I just did but uhhhh I hope this was okay 💁♀️

I think Leo’a character gets so much more interesting once he pieces together that Splinter is encouraging him to act more like him (partially to validate to his own actions and emotionally distant behavior towards everyone close to him) and realizes that he doesn’t want to do that, even if he would lose Splinter’s approval in the process. The moment he stops idolizing Splinter the way he does, he’ll notice that all his brothers have distanced themselves from Splinter (though Donnie and Mikey are more subtle about it than Raph), and the more he takes after Splinter the more they pull away from him too, and maybe then he starts to realize that Splinter’s approach to relationships with the only showing approval when someone has met his inflated expectations of them really sucks ass.
Okay look i've been thinking about this for a while because i'm writing this au and splinter is kind of a shitty dad in it and i never expected the impact on leo to be as heart rending as it is, but GOD. yes! you are so fucking right.
i'm so sorry but i wrote a whole essay under the cut.
when you're a teacher's pet and you get called one, you take it as a compliment. you know they don't mean it like that, but you like it anyway. because you like your teacher, and you're proud to be a good student, you're proud to get that validation. probably because you crave validation from an authority figure for self worth purposes.
and when it's you parent??? hoo boy.
which is why i love the Splinter Junior nickname, because it carries so much baggage. It can be an affectionate comparison of father and son, it can be resentful that he is a representative of parental authority, it can be jealous that he is so close to Splinter when the others aren't, it can be a straight up insult (because honestly what's worse than telling someone they're just like their father). and i love the idea of leo going from taking that nickname as a compliment to taking it as a slap in the face.
there was a great line in this fic (rlly good btw) where leo realizes that he had a different father than the rest of them. that he has a certain relationship with splinter that his brothers haven't been able to form and asdgkjaslkgd yes???? yes! but at the same time, splinter is his dad too. so while he gets splinter's approval, that approval comes at a cost, and the cost is bending his personality and goals and wants to suit his dad's. it's the classic 'it's your dream, dad. not my dream' scenario. and when leo realizes that he's spent his entire life tailoring his very self to gain his father's approval...
in my notes for my au, i wrote, "if Leonardo’s self-understanding is as a loyal right hand to Splinter, what happens when the ultra loyal right hand of the king turns against the king?" it's his identity. and how does turning against the king recontextualize everything he did in service to the king?
the only thing that could really pull him from splinter is his brothers. because honestly, he loves them more than he loves splinter. and i think, as sad as it sounds, he will realize that he loves his brothers more than splinter loves them. or maybe he just loves them better. more fully. and he's not willing to lose them in the way that splinter is. even more, he's not willing to hurt them the way splinter does. and of course, he needs to heal from the way splinter has hurt him. but another part of him, the part that's still so close to his dad, would want to save him, in a way. save him from the distance between him and his own children.
so yeah. i think at that point, after he's gone through that development, the most hurtful thing you could say is that he's like Splinter.
#ask coffee#tmnt#i can't even express my thoughts on this properly#this shit does something to me man#it's just so painful and so relatable#bad dad splinter#obvs this does not apply to all splinters but um#2012 splinter you are so gorgeous and your voice is so deep but you are not good at parenting sometimes lmao#i know it's mostly sacrificing the character for the plot but it's too compelling to ignore#i haven't gotten far enough into idw to comment on this but i feel like it's gonna be the same

PORTRAYAL NOTES
𝐶𝐴𝑅𝑅𝐷 —— 𝑉𝐸𝑅𝑆𝐸𝑆 —— 𝐻𝐶𝑆 —— 𝑃𝐼𝑁𝐸𝑅𝐸𝑆𝑇 —— 𝑇𝑅𝐼𝑉𝐼𝐴 —— 𝑃𝐻𝑌𝑆𝐼𝐶𝐴𝐿 𝑅𝐸𝐹
As with my other FT universe muses, the events of filler arcs/chapters/spin offs are not (generally) considered canon. Important hcs/posts will be linked below, more to be added as developed.
Guild: he was a member of Fairy Tail until X782 (the year Lisanna 'died'). He travelled for a year and then joined Quatro Cerberus, which he has now been a member of for 10 years.
Shop: The Chimera Collection is the shop he established in X784. It is about a minute's walk out of Cornus Town (where his guild is located). Various weapons, armour, and ammunition are available to purchase, along certain items of clothes (cloaks, bags, hats mostly) and objects. Some items are magically enhanced and some are not. Specialty items can be commissioned, as can special prosthetics. The wares are of very high quality and are made from a mix of traditional methods and use of his Fusion magic.
Magic: he primarily uses Fusion magic, which allows him to combine materials or whole items to create something new, however he can also use Light magic. He also uses some Requip magic, for storing items, weapons, and emergency supplies.
Wolf: Due to a certain incident, he has fused with a Lunargenti wolf, which has essentially turned him into a werewolf and has a few other effects. He can't stop from transforming into a wolf on a full moon. This particular wolf species is unique to Galuna Island and uses Light magic.
Personality: he's a quiet, introverted type and prefers small groups or one-on-one interactions as opposed to larger groups or crowds. He is humble, honourable, helpful, hardworking, creative, and observant. He is an artist at heart, and he enjoys learning, reading, and researching. While generally a levelheaded, calm, patient type, he actively works to remain calm so that he doesn't trigger a transformation (this is, of course, more difficult the closer it gets to a full moon).
History: He had a tense and strained relationship with his father for a good portion of his life. Their issues led to Dorian running away at 17 and joining Fairy Tail as part of his Teenage Rebellion™. After a few years, he met his best friend, Indigo, while travelling and she ended up joining the guild and they became a team (both becoming S-class shortly after). In X774, when instances of Deliora's attacks and Zeref Cult activity were high, his town was one of the locations that suffered. His younger brother died and his father lost a limb. Visiting his parents, he spent time crafting a prosthetic for his father, which allowed the man to see him in a new light, and their bond began to heal. In X777, during a (reluctant) quest with a younger mage to investigate reports of a Lunargenti wolf on the mainland, things went very wrong and Dorian ended up fusing with the wolf in order to save the younger mage. After that, Dorian began to distance himself from the guild, due to the side effects he was struggling with and his growing frustrations with the way the guild was run, culminating in X782 when he returned from a job and heard that Lisanna had died while on a S-class mission (a scenario which of course reminded him too much of his own incident).
Indigo 'Indi' Evenblade: A seemingly lighthearted warrior woman, she smiles easily and loves fun and adventures. She comes from a long line of warriors and metalworkers and loves her people and heritage. A user of Iron-make magic, she and Dorian work well together as she can form beautiful iron weapons and he can infuse them with magical properties. She is outgoing and often drags Dorian into things that he would normally avoid. Indi is not very tall, but wears shoes and boots that give her extra height, and her general aura makes her seem taller than she is. True to her name, she of course has indigo hair (beginning to streak with silvery greys), but her eyes are a dark gold. She has elf-like ears, is muscular, and loves weapons and armour. She's also Very much into Women.
Wilden Engleburt: He was the younger mage that accompanied Dorian on that fateful quest. He had always looked up to him and wished to impress him. In the years since the Incident, he has convinced himself that the way to prove himself to everyone (but especially to Dorian) is to have a famous guild. He set up Purple Griffin in X786 to that end. He is arrogant but some people find him charming.

Hi hebi! Can i ask for 🌹 with iori? Thanks!
Writer's corner: Hey! Of course you can, sweetheart! Just, let me know if there's anything you'd like me to change or fix! Since you haven't told me about the gender, I'd write for GN! Hope it's okay. Also I'll develop it as a scenario/headcanons♥Enjoy and have a fantastic summer~!
mc's pronouns: GN! (THEY/THEM)
Warnings: sfw, fluff
☀️𝐈𝐨𝐫𝐢☀️𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞
🌹: They confess their love to mc (R)
☀️Iori didn’t need time to understand his own feelings towards mc; he perfectly knew that he has grown fond of them already!
☀️Just by thinking about their smile, their laughter, their warm expression of kindness, their sparkling eyes.. everything about mc could make Iori feel his own heart skipping a beat and, subsequently, starting racing just like a tiger chasing after its prey. But thanks to his agility to hide his own emotions, Iori managed not to make his family suspect. At first neither of AKYR members knew that Iori was hiding a sweet feeling inside his chest. None of them knew that he couldn’t look around himself because everything could remind him of his sweet mc: when he saw flowers, they reminded him of mc’s eyes, which had just a colour but by looking at them he was able to see all the existing colours in the whole universe; when he saw Club CANDY’s candles, these reminded him of mc’s sweet and smooth skin, that he was deeply craving to touch at least once; and when he smelled the gentle scent of honey, this reminded him of mc’s scent itself, which wasn’t honey-made, but was just as sweet. His cheeks were always about to blush at these thoughts, but Iori was still able enough to hide them all inside his chest, feeling a new kind of warmth inside that he had never felt before.
☀️It wasn’t that kind of warmth you could feel by spending time with your relatives and family… it wasn’t that kind of warmth you could feel after realizing that a close friend of yours trusts you deeply.. it wasn’t even that kind of warmth you could feel with your parents, nor that kind of warmth felt due to rage against your enemies. Not at all.. it was a new kind of warmth that even Iori was unable to talk about. Yet he knew it wasn’t anything bad, but sweet and lovely. Was it love? How could he know? He used to be part of Yakuza, how could he know what love was? He only knew about familiar love, maybe about friendship too, but not about that kind of romantic love!.. Iori's friend, Yohei, had tried to explain to him what that kind of love felt like and.. probably that was it! But how could Iori be certain? “You need to talk to them about it, Aniki!”, AKYR guys told him, once he got enough courage to talk to them about his feelings for mc. How could talk to them solve everything? Iori didn’t know, yet he had to give it a try. So it didn’t pass much time when mc one day received a message from Iori:
“Heyy mc! Can you come to Club CANDY after job? I wanna talk to you.”.
☀️It was pretty late in the evening, almost Club CANDY opening hour, and this really surprised mc. They finished their part-time job and immediately walked to the club owned by Iori. As they arrived they noticed that there wasn’t anyone outside the club. It was strange, but they looked even more surprised when they saw Iori standing in the middle of the empty club, holding a bunch of flowers. There was only a table where a candle was shining in the dark. Iori’s eyes were glowing and sparkling, especially after seeing mc’s figure standing there, slightly exhausted after a long day. “I’m sorry for making you reach me after a long day of work, but… I needed to talk to you... and I needed it now.”, his voice broke the silence in the club, while Satsuki and Zen played some soft background music without making mc notice, just to create the perfect atmosphere. It was summer, after all.. so it was time to love. Iori took mc’s hands gently and made them sit, just like a gentleman would do. He took a single flower from the bouquet he had given them and put it among their hair, looking straight at their eyes. Mc was still pretty confused. Their exhausted state was visible, especially from their messy but adorable and fluffy hair. “You look adorable.. And your skin.. it’s so smooth and soft.. I would spend an eternity caressing your cheek..”, he whispered feeling slightly awkward inside because it was hard for him to show his true feelings. In the meantime mc could still feel his fingertips caressing their cheeks and slowly going down to their jaw and chin. Their eyes sparkled in embarrassment as Iori lifted their face: "Uhm.. What... what did you want to talk to me about..?", mc whispered softly. Iori's expression changed and looked more hesitant now. Yet he soon sighed and spoke to himself: “fuck it.. now or never.”, and, as he whispered these words, he placed his lips against mc’s, softly and sweetly kissing them. As they broke the kiss, mc looked at Iori with a heavy blush on their cheeks.
☀️"Do I still need to tell you...? Or is it enough...?"

a lot of people in the notes aren't understanding why this matters, largely because they're caught up in the in-game logic of link's grafted arm.
it's not a "spirit arm", it's solid matter since it can bear solid matter throughout the game. in the vaguest way to avoid spoilers, i'm not talking about holding items or link's clothing. i'm talking about a plot-relevant adornment that only shows up for a short bit in a few cutscenes but that adornment has a solid frame for the magical portion. so, yes, this is a dead person's arm that got transplanted onto link.
anyways, let's move on to making this fantasy situation more relevant to us in reality so it's easier to understand OP's point. but first, let's review.
gloom is a toxic substance; you can get sick in close proximity, have drastic health effects if you come into contact with it, and it can even alter your behavior if consumed. link coming into contact with the very source of the gloom caused it to infect his entire arm, and it would have reached his heart if he'd maintained contact. then he goes unconscious, and later comes to to the transplanted arm.
realistically, an arm transplant is usually not the answer to an infected limb. antibiotic treatment and/or amputation is. now i'm not going to provide a direct link to the case study due to graphic imagery but there is a medical journal with an entry titled "What Are the Ethical Issues in Treating a Patient With Bilateral Leg Gangrene Incapable of Consenting to Amputation Secondary to Psychiatric Illness?" (PMCID: PMC4626515)
basically, a patient developed severe limb infections and was deemed incapable of making decisions regarding their care based on their current psychological state (drug-induced psychosis). the patient's substitute decision maker did not agree with the care team's plan to continue observing the patient until they could make their own decisions, and instead demanded the patient's infected limbs be amputated. this decision maker was the patient's family member
this story ended with such drastic surgery being delayed until the patient was in a psychological state where they could make decisions on their care. however, link's situation provides a much starker contrast wherein there is no one who can make decisions on his medical care except a... ghost.
while many are confused about how realistic a scenario of non-consensual limb transplant is, here is another factor to consider: what if you are a child? the boston's children hospital has a research study into performing hand transplants on pediatric patients. in fact the verbiage goes on to say that they can "offer this experimental procedure to children who may benefit from it". the decision-making power here typically falls to a child's parent or guardian, not the child themself. and there are many, many, many stories of ableism among the parents of disabled children. so yes, a situation wherein one receives a transplanted limb without consent is possible.
and this is only touching on one example of non-consensual medical procedures. i would provide more examples but typing all of this left me with only 13 minutes to get ready for work.
i'm going to say this because other disabled people deserve some warning, and it sure as hell wasn't given by any prerelease or review media i saw:
the new zelda game, 'tears of the kingdom' has a major trigger for medical abuse body horror front and centre from the very beginning, all throughout the game
at the very start of the game, link is injured, and then wakes up to be told that he has had someone else's dead arm grafted onto him, without consultation or consent, as a "necessity" to "save his life"
there is so much ableist subtext i could draw out from this, but importantly, if you have any triggers with forced or unwanted medical procedures done on you, go in prepared and bracing yourself
it's not a prosthesis, or gauntlets, or magitech infusion, it is literally textually a dead arm transplant done while unconscious, and the game's gaze lingers on and highlights it and its difference from his body constantly
i don't know how this was considered acceptable in a family friendly franchise, other than the sheer ignorance of the developers about disabled peoples' medical experiences
speaking of which, since i know i'm opening myself up to shit by even mentioning this is an issue, if you have to wonder why this is a trigger especially for disabled people and why i'm treating it with such gravity:
horrifying medical procedures done on us without consent that we're only told about after waking up is unfortunately routine for people with disabilities of many kinds
and forceful transplantation of an unwanted (or even unviable) limb against patient consent is absolutely a real world thing doctors actually do in the name of making a person "whole" and "fixed" and because disability is abhorrent to them. it's not a fictional or fantastical scenario, and i know this because it was done to me, and it was living hell that i will never recover from.
so if you want to argue about it with me or tell me "well actually it's ghost magic", or tell me about your headcanons, or be in denial about the horrors forced on us that you don't want to believe are real.... fucking don't.

Ways the Death Note Cast Show They Trust You
I lost some inspiration towards the middle there, I’m sorry!!
L
- he will always have Watari make extra servings of food just for you. It’s a bit startling at first. So suddenly there’s just food in front of you that you think is for L, but when you push it towards him, he pushes it right back to you.
“You don’t want it?” He’d ask, leaving you confused until you finally put the pieces together.
“Oh, I…I guess I didn’t realize it was for me. My bad.” You begin eating. “Thank you.”
L simply hums and continues with whatever he was just up to.
- You know that thing cats do where they’re sitting perfectly still, eyes closed, guard slightly down, but still not quite asleep? I can picture L doing something like this during any moment of downtime he gets. Just sitting, scrunched up in his chair or wherever he happens to be, eyes closed but the cogs in his brain are still turning. You notice him doing this when it is only you and him in the room, simply thinking it’s because of the moment of rare solitude. Little do you know, it’s because he trusts that you won’t hurt him or let anything bad happen to him.
- L is a person who prefers to be in charge of his own life. He likes knowing what’s going on around him at all times and when things are out of his hands he can’t help but feel uncomfortable. However, with a person he’s developed a close relationship with and knows he can trust with everything he has, L will feel more comfortable leaving decisions up to them. You’ll have to start small though, like being the one to plan a surprise date. He might feel a bit uncomfy at the beginning, shifting around and possibly even insisting he sit so that he can see the exits clearly, but he eases into it eventually. Soon you both find yourselves joking around in the odd way that you do and gorging on cake and ice cream.
Mello
- being vulnerable is something Mello isn’t too keen on. He already feels vulnerable most of the time and would kick himself if he let that show through his actions. If Mello truly trusts you, he will feel as though he can be vulnerable around you without any judgement on your end. Small acts that show vulnerability such as asking you to help him with something he can’t quite handle on his own — even if it’s something as simple as not being able to reach something off a shelf or being unsure about how to fix something. Eventually, he’ll work his way up to the bigger stuff like being physically wounded in front of you or having a mental block.
- Sharing his clothes with you or letting you pick his outfit for him. Now, it sounds like he’s just being a little diva and that’s only partially true. But his clothes are important to him, they’re a factor that sets him aside from his plain-dressing rival and in his eyes they make him more interesting than him, visually at least. He’s happy to dress you up, and it is true that he has to have a close relationship with you to want to do so, but you should be especially proud if he lets you alter his appearance in any way.
- He likes to believe that he’s had his goals set out from the beginning. Surpass Near, become the next L, and go on from there. What he pushes to the back of his brain are the moments he’s been studying and he’s asked himself ‘What if I went down a different path?’. He quickly pushes these thoughts away, but they keep coming back. What would life be like if this wasn’t an option for him? What if he were a writer? What if he lived in the city with people he loves and went to the movies every Friday? Unwillingly, he has a whole list of possibilities. If he truly trusts you, he’ll share every single one with you. Whether it’s dropping hints or confessing them one by one late at night, he can’t help but feel that they’re safe with you.
Misa
- it seems a bit surface level, but it’s true — Misa will talk down on Light in front of you if she trusts you. But it’s not straight away. She had developed a lot of courage to actually break up with him, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still doubt her decision to do so. It’s only when she finds out from you how loved ones are supposed to treat each other — with kindness and respect — that she feels her decision to ditch Light was the entirely right one. Slowly, she’ll start to admit to you all the things she hated about Light, starting with some of his mannerisms and building up to something like how he forced her to leave the entertainment business.
- Misa is…dramatic. She likes to go above and beyond for someone she’s infatuated with and make sure they’re the happiest they can be. If she trusts you enough to develop this kind of infatuation and, with some development, less of an obsession and more of a strong, bonding love, you will be doted on to the point where it’s almost ridiculous. You could be at home during one of her work days and you’ll get a delivery of lunch from your favorite takeout place because Misa was ‘thinking of you <3’, as she explains when you text her asking why food randomly showed up at your place. It’s rather sweet.
- Misa’s a pretty talkative person in general, that’s a well known fact. She’ll talk about clothes, a cute birdie she saw on her way home, really anything that comes to mind. But, she’ll do that with about anyone who’ll listen. It’s gradual, so it’s hard to notice, but if Misa grows to trust you she’ll start talking about some of the more serious things that have been on her mind for a while, those things that she thought would scare off anyone she liked because of how personal they are to her. Her family before they died, for example. It’s something that Misa thinks about. So much. But she doesn’t really talk about it. She wants to forget, put the past behind her but because she’s never talked about it with anyone it’s hard to do that. She’ll talk about her family to you, the little things her sister used to do and some things her parents did that she misses.
Matsuda
- Matsuda often begins to idolize those who he thinks are trustworthy and have a good heart. He starts to tell you how much he loves when you do x and that he wishes he could perform as well as you in that area. In a sense, he trusts you with his vulnerability, letting you know that he thinks of himself as less than satisfactory and how he wishes he could do better, only he channels it by pointing out good things about you. If…that makes sense.
- This sounds dire, but he’ll risk his life for the people he completely, without a doubt trusts. He was willing to do so with Chief Yagami, someone he saw as a father figure, and he would certainly be willing to do so with you, someone who he feels he has a deep emotional connection to. Whether you’re in a situation where he would need to or he’s just saying that he would, he means it.
- Matsuda trusts you to not make fun of him when he overshares or talks too much or anything his coworkers brush him off for. He feels that he can talk about things he finds funny and talk about his life without worrying about what you think of him when he does.
Matt
- he would drop everything to help you. Whether that’s dropping his game to help you kill a bug or leaving his duties behind to help you out of a life or death situation. Whichever scenario you happen to find yourself in he’s there no matter what.
- He’ll invite you into his personal life. I know this is kind of a given but Matt had the chance to become the next L. He had the chance to become something “great” and he said “ummm rather not” to it because it wasn’t something he wanted. If he shares this information with you, he trusts you not to leave him for something better when you discover the status he could have had and refused. He trusts you to appreciate him because of him and not the intelligence everyone but him cherishes.
- He leaves you alone around important technology and software he’s hacked. Unfortunately for him, betrayal comes with the business he’s got himself into and, if Matt really trusts you on both a professional and emotional level, he won’t have a problem worrying about whether or not you’ll take advantage of his coffee break to gather information for some other organization or something. He will literally just go “mkay babe I gotta go fuel up on caffeine real quick, you’re good watching the hacked government database right? Cool cya.”
Near
- Near trusts you to take him to public places. Sounds simple, yeah. But Near has never liked crowds, or even just too many strangers in a wide open place. It’s strange to everyone observing how one day he decides he needs a new toy, his old one having broken due to old age, and asks you to take him to the toy store. He’s questioned, people wondering why he wouldn’t rather you just go alone but Near insists. Apparently the toy that broke is special addition and he wants to make sure you get the right one. He stays close to you the whole way, not really saying much, but he’s there and that’s a big step for him.
- He helps you out with puzzles. Basically cheats for you. When he’s eyeing one specific empty slot, coughing lightly to get your attention, just know that he’s not helping you because he thinks you need it. Quite the opposite actually. With anyone else, he believes that they should be able to solve it on their own. He thinks that if they can’t, then that’s their fault. But with you…it’s as if he trusts that you’re intelligent enough without the puzzle being an indicator of that intelligence, so much so that he thinks the puzzle itself is obsolete when it comes to you. He doesn’t need a puzzle to know how smart you are.
- He’ll eat the foods you make him. Near’s picky eater-ness is above that of a child who only eats chicken tenders and pizza. He doesn’t eat that many people’s food because he knows it’s probably not he way he likes it. But with you, he trusts that you respect his eating habits and know him well enough to get it right the first time. Though he does check the food out for a bit, he’ll eat it. Sometimes all of it. Fuckin astonishing to Rester who had attempted many times to heat up microwave dinners for the guy.

My thoughts on Encanto, in comparison the it’s predecessors. It’s a long post! Possible spoilers ahead, you’ve been warned!
Encanto: A Masterpiece that Let Things Happen
Disney’s more recent movies have had this problem where they either try establish character growth by saying it out loud instead of just conveying it through a scene, or just flat out not acknowledging the growth and expecting the audience to believe it ever happened at all.
But not Encanto. It knew how to place its characters into situations that didn’t feel forced, it didn’t feel the need to explain to its younger viewers why something was happening, and it knew the importance or character dynamics because it has a whopping 12 character cast. It knew the exact amount of backstory to provide, while also not cramming it all at the beginning and sprinkling it through the climax as well. I also love how Encanto managed to establish all of its characters’ presence wnd relevance within the story. It’s refreshing to see the story progress from someone else’s perspective, and how the main character’s decisions have different effects on different characters. It’s something I’m looking forward to from future Disney movies.
For example, Moana was mostly about Moana, with a bit of Maui character development sprinkled throughout. But we never got to see any scenes that really established or cemented someone else’s relevance to the story. We never got to see Gramma Tala witnessing the moment Moana was chosen by the ocean and instead we were just supposed to believe she was somewhere in the trees watching, all because she said she was there. We never got to see her parents’ concern for her and how they felt about her leaving right after her grandmother’s passing, with no guarantee that the island could even be saved; how guilty her father would feel if he lost Moana just like he lost his best friend; or whether or not their faith in her ever wavered during her absence. We also never established Maui’s change of heart to come back and risk breaking his hook permanently to help Moana after he originally left her, and we’re left to assume whether or not he made that realization on his own. Moana was central to this movie, but almost too much which I personally feel was one of its weak points. Had we seen any of those moments, it would’ve given the movie a much bigger sense of importance and appreciation for its non-titular characters, instead of leaving the audience to believe any of these scenarios happened. Show us something.
Frozen 2 also had this same weak point, but not to the same extent as Moana did. It had a lot of problems but I’m not even gonna go there… As a sequel, its main cast already had established personalities and relationships, but it gave so much focus to Anna and Elsa’s internal struggles that Kristoff and Olaf’s relevance to the plot fell flat, and all the new characters introduced weren’t given any reason for the audience to care about their presence. We’re just left to believe that Elsa has always held her mother’s scarf when she gets upset, and that Olaf has been reading a lot, and that Anna was ever ready to become Queen of Arendelle, all because these things were said out loud instead of being conveyed visually. We never saw the moment where it clicked in Olaf’s brain that growing up doesn’t always provide clear answers, and we won’t always be ready for the things that happen to us. We never got to see the moment Kristoff realized that he didn’t need a gimmick or a grand gesture to propose to Anna, and he just suddenly knew the next time we saw him. And yet the songs they sang were made for us to believe that there was a learning curve there, but there wasn’t? Those songs were an acknowledgment of their vulnerabilities, but were never built onto to show character growth afterwards. We’re just supposed to believe that the growth happened. Show, don’t tell.
In Raya and the Last Dragon, we see less of this problem than in Frozen 2. As a story about divided nations, not all of the character’s stories needed to intersect with one another, but the overarching theme of found family attempts to make up for the lack of character depth. Each character makes an impact on the story, but it’s just that the story’s execution is poorer than it should’ve been. It was never established why that specific day was chosen for the lands to reunite, nor was it given any significance. It was just a random Tuesday. Why not make it the 500th anniversary of the disappearance of the dragons? They spent far too much time making fun of Raya’s jackfruit jerky when it could’ve been spent establishing Sisu’s low self-esteem. Her character was first introduced as a self-depricating dragon, but she was never actually self-depricating? It was also never clarified why Sisu associates trust with the presence of a gift, but it would’ve been a wonderful detail to fully seal her character as “the little dragon that could”. I refuse to believe that Sisu believes that the gem was the gift itself, because her approach to gift giving isn’t the same as her siblings trusting her. We also never got to see Raya acknowledge the turmoil she must have felt leaving her people behind and what she felt during her six years on the road. We could have gotten a montage of her living in each of the 5 lands trying to camouflage herself as a member of their clans, and all the people that must have helped her out along the way. Among other things that were briefly mentioned but eventually glossed over: Tong’s importance in his village, Boun’s sister tousling his hair upon reuniting, how baby Noi was separated from her mother, and why Namaari suddenly cared to protect Raya and take Sisu herself? We’re just lead to believe that Namaari suddenly cares about Raya’s safety so she wouldn’t have to worry about Virana causing any harm. Also, the fact that these nations were in conflict for centuries, but all of that was resolved and healed within a day. Anyway if you couldn’t tell I have a lot to nitpick about RatLD but my point is that it spent a lot less time establishing character relevance than it needed to. Show us something.
But with Encanto, every character was established enough for the audience to understand their presence, and they all felt important whether their overall roles were significant or not. And that’s the entire message of the movie, everyone has something to offer within the bigger picture. We didn’t hear anyone say “I think Antonio is nervous for his gift ceremony” because they just showed it actually happening. Kids don’t always tell people when they feel anxious, and will sometimes hide like Antonio did. They never relied on Mirabel to talk about how mean Isabela could be, because there were times it was happening right in front of our faces. It’s all in her demeanour, her expressions, and the way she carried herself through the first two thirds of the movie. They didn’t need to say it out loud that Abuela was conflicted towards Mirabel, because it was showed through all of her interactions with her. We never needed to hear that Mirabel’s parents would defend her from Abuela, because we actually saw them doing it. We didn’t need Dolores to tell Mirabel about her suspicions about Bruno in the walls because Mirabel found out on her own.
Things in this movie just happened without being verbally hinted towards beforehand or being brushed over and expected to believe took place afterward.
Letting things just happen without acknowledging them beforehand but still expanding on them afterward not only feels more natural, but it’s a good way to build tension without losing any of the momentum. Encanto managed to consistently build tension up until the climax, and that’s what made the whole movie so amazing to me. It also managed to be a Disney movie I can’t nitpick things from because you can feel the amount of effort that was put into the story we got. Encanto has set the bar high! This is something I’ll continue to expect from future Disney movies, because I’m not looking forward to any more movies that have to spell things out for their kid viewers.

ATEEZ Reaction: S/O flinching during an argument
Anon said: “Hi um could I please request for an ateez reaction to their s/o flinching in an argument? Thank you so much if you do this!! Much love ❤️❤️”
Triggerwarning: This scenario could be triggering for some people as it deals with past (physical) abuse, no abuse will happen though. Take care of yourself and please seek help if you need it.
Genderneutral
Heavy angst (Writing angst is always emotionally draining but I love it so much, it means a lot more to me)
Jongho
You knew Jongho was strong. This didn’t help when he raised his right hand during the argument. You instinctively crouched down and covered your face with your arms. When you couldn’t feel any sort of punch, you dared to look at him again. The expression on his face scared the living hell out of you: shock, hurt, pain, disappointment.
“You thought I’d hi-hit you?”
At that point you realized you didn’t think, your body just reacted. Things, that happened in the past were screwing up your present, you had to start letting go.
“I do-don’t know, Jongho, I didn’t… I-You raised your arm and I thought-”
That’s when you broke down: knees giving out and tears starting to spill from your eyes, announcing that you were starting the self-healing process.
Sunken on to the floor, he slowly approached you, gently wrapping his arms around your body. For a while nothing could be heard except your muffled cries.
Holding you tight while you fell apart, he reassured you: “I would never lay a finger on you like that… please believe me, you are so precious”
After a moment of silence, he continued: “Do you wanna talk about what made you think that I could do that to you?”
With almost no energy left, you slowly shook your head no.
“It’s okay, I love you and I will always be here”
Wooyoung
He has a good heart. But he is also very passionate and that sometimes scares you when he is in one of his moods, rants like there’s no tommorow and he doesn’t hear you anymore. You were trying to get a word in but Wooyoung was speaking louder and louder about how it wasn’t his responsibility to get groceries after being at the studio for 13 hours a day, even though you asked him to in the morning.
He got so worked up he puffed his chest and fitfully lifted his arms. That was enough to make you flinch. It was a short action but of course Wooyoung noticed. Immediately becoming silent, it looked like someone took the life out of him.
“Did you think… I was going to…?”
Scared of your own reaction, you were paralyzed for a moment. Wooyoung rushed to take you into his arms, his comforting arms.
“I’m sorry Woo”, your voice sounded exhausted, like you’ve never been before.
“You don’t have to apologize for it… I’m sorry for getting so worked up, I never meant to scare you… you know I will always protect you.”
Mingi
You didn’t even remember what the argument was about. Mingi came home a little aggravated and you were tired from work so that’s when things went south.
“How many times do I have to tell you? I have the most important performance of my career that day, I can’t come visit your parents!”
“Mingi you never make time for me! It’s like your job is more important to you than me!”
Visibly frustrated, he quickly lifted up his arms in defeat. That’s when the flashbacks started in your head and you retracted back into your shell, shoulders and arms raised to protect your head.
“Y/N… I… Did you really think…” He didn’t need to finish.
The look on his face showed emotions that were beyond hurt, pain and disappointment.
You struggled to keep your composure: “I’m sorry Mingi, I don’t-”
He hurried over to you to take you into his arms.
“It’s okay… I could never do something like that to you.”
San
He forgot your anniversary. That was it. You knew that it wasn’t that big of a deal, but little things like that were important to you. They mattered more than any big gesture or present.
You simply expected him to write you a sweet message during the day or something like that. But he forgot. Even when you went to see him in the evening he didn’t seem to remember. So, you wanted to confront him about how much that hurt you.
You didn’t expect it to develop into a huge argument though.
“San, what I expected was just a little reminder that our relationship is as important to you as it is to me, I just wanted my boyfriend to send me a text… but you couldn’t even do that!”
That was it for him. You doubted his ability to show love?
He took a step closer to you but after seeing the rage in his eyes that was enough for you to step back in fear.
That broke him. And you could see that.
“No no no, that’s not- you’re not scared of me, right Y/N?”
It all happened so fast you couldn’t think straight. When you didn’t respond he broke down in tears.
So it was you, who took him into your arms, even though you doubted his good nature for a split second.
You tried to keep him together with your hug while struggling yourself.
San would never ever hurt you. His reaction was enough to make it clear to you how much the thought of you being scared of him hurt him.
Holding each other close you both let out cleansing tears and haunting memories that used to be tucked away in a back drawer of your mind, ready to be dealt with now.
Yeosang
He’s not the person to get angry audibly. Like twice a year you guys a conflict but it was never loud.
But this one was different; it was a much deeper conflict of values. He prioritized work. You knew he loved his work but did he have to ignore your needs while doing what he loved? You believed he could also pay a little attention to you, that’s what being in a relationship meant, right?
It was scary when he started to raise his voice but it was even more terrifying when he started to gesture wildly, trying to explain why you were wrong.
Naturally, you went into protection mode.
He stopped right in his tracks when he saw the terrified expression on your face.
“Y/N.. I wasn’t going to… I didn’t mean to scare you. I was just…”
You didn’t know how to explain yourself either. But you didn’t need to, Yeosang understood what was going on.
He carefully approached you and offered you a big hug. You let yourself collapse into him and allowed the tears to spill from your eyes, letting out all the pent-up stress and fear.
“I’m sorry my love. I will never forgive myself for scaring you…”
Yunho
You were on edge the whole day, anxiety acting up again. Sometimes you could deal with it, but not today.
In the evening it got even worse when Yunho didn’t seem to notice you were more nervous and jittery than usual. He’s had a hard day too.
So, you decided to put aside your own troubles to ask him how his day went.
His eyebrows furrowed: “I don’t wanna talk about it.”
“I just wanted to ask you how your day went, Yunho, and why you’re so pissed, I’m sorry”
He groaned out of frustration and turned his body away from you - a little too fast. That’s when something snapped in you and you got flooded with horrible memories of past situations that scarred you physically but more importantly mentally: You couldn’t help but protect your head from punches that might land on it.
“No, baby, don’t… I.. I didn’t mean to… I wasn’t going to…”
The look in his eyes was pure defeat.
“I’m so sorry” his voice was merely a whisper.
You were shocked when you realized you had thought he could harm you physically. He was your safe place.
So you let yourself fall into his arms, hoping you could comfort him as much as he comforted you.
Hongjoong
In an argument Hongjoong could raise his voice, you knew that. What you didn’t know was that even small rapid movements of his could trigger a memory in your mind that you hoped to suppress forever.
He only ran his hand through his hair but your reflex was to immediately cover your face.
“What was that?... Are y-you scared of me…?”
Tears started to spill from your eyes as you realized that you had hurt him: ”I’m sorry Hongjoong, I don’t know what’s happening”
Taking you into his arms, he tried to calm you down with his touch: ”Shh, it’s okay, I’m here, Y/N”
After your tears dried up a little, you moved to cuddle on the couch.
“Do you wanna tell me what happened?”
It was painful but you decided to tell him everything you could remember.
He was sure to hold you especially tight during the parts where you didn’t think you could keep on talking.
Seonghwa
You guys fought about his job and how he was never home. He reasoned he loved what he did and that was supposed to make it okay. It didn’t. So, your dispute was going nowhere.
Out of frustration he turned away from you.
The action was so quick, but it scared a part of you, that you didn’t know existed: the part that was abused.
You couldn’t help but flinch. Of course, Seonghwa noticed.
“Why’d you…? Y/N are you sc-scared of me?” His eyes wide open, the corners of his mouth visibly drooping.
You sank down onto the floor, unable to hold it in any longer. It was useless to cover your eyes, tears already spilling like a waterfall.
Seonghwa was quick to hug you.
You were falling apart in his arms, but it felt good to let it all out. Neither you nor Seonghwa needed to speak.
Let me know what you think in the comments.

Anon: IT‘S OPEN AGAIN! 🎉 im the Anon who asked for the Sakazuki request at the 100 followers event. Would you do a scenario where he takes female readers virginity ? I just can’t imagine him being the best choice for it but maybe you have a different take on it! Love your work so much and thank you!!! 💖
Sakazuki taking reader‘s virginity Anon here! I’d say maybe reader is not in a relationship with him but if you can’t come up with a scenario where this could be the case then can also be in a relationship. It’s up to you! Thank you so much !
Well...this is rather long and I apologize. I couldn't come up with a scenario where he would take reader's virginity without them being in a relationship except for this one. It has a lot of story in the beginning so feel free to skip to the dirty part if it's too long....anyways, I hope you like it and let me know!
Warning: 18+, nsfw, masturbation, superior x subordinate
Parining: Sakazuki x female reader
Word count: 4.1k
He had saved you when you were a child; kidnapped by pirates and to be sold off to god knows where. He, a Vice Admiral at the time, and his men caught the pirates off guard like a sudden storm, the outlaws not having anywhere to run. You watched him from afar, barking orders at his men and not paying you any attention. He scared you more than the pirates did, with his cold eyes and his unapproachable aura.
You joined the marines when you were old enough, wanting to stop piracy and the suffering pirates caused to innocent citizens. Oddly enough, Sakazuki became like a role model to you in his consequent behavior even though you had no interactions whatsoever. It was also no surprise to you when he was promoted to be an admiral. You admired him, wanting to climb the ranks like him and in the process became somewhat ruthless in your pursuit of pirates as well though not to the extend he was.
He came to the base you were stationed at, ordered by Sengoku to help catch the rising numbers of pirates sighted in this area. Apparently, he was not amused about it, thinking all of you had done a terrible job of letting this happen. First thing he did was give an angry speech to everyone, scolding you for the lack of effort in catching the pirates. The Vice Admiral’s got an even bigger scolding; everyone leaving the meeting room smaller than before.
You were called into his office a couple of days later. One of your superiors had recommended you to become Sakazuki’s assistant for the time he was here, not wanting to do it himself. You felt excited to be even thought of, wanting to see the admiral in action. So, you knocked on his door, waiting for him to call you in.
“Hello, Sir. I’m-“
“You’re late, marine.” His voice was harsh and annoyed, his eyes boring into yours, making you swallow. To say he was intimidating would’ve been an understatement – he was terrifying! You were taken back to more than ten years ago when you first saw him. You felt like a small child that did something wrong and was to be scolded by their parent.
“Sit down.” He ordered you, gesturing to the empty chair in front of the desk. You nodded, hurrying over and sitting down, not wanting to let him wait any longer. Your enthusiasm had dropped significantly; you weren’t even able to look him in the face, your hands fidgeting in your lap. You felt his eyes mustering you in irritation and it made you even more uncomfortable.
“I’ve heard you were the right one for the job but when I look at you I’m wondering what kind of marines work here when you’re the best they can offer as an assistant.” His words stabbed you like a knife in the heart. But he was right? The moment you entered the room you felt so nervous, not even a kid would take you seriously. Taking all your courage, you looked up and right at his face, feeling the need to look away immediately but pushing this urge away.
“Don’t you have anything to say, marine?” he got more irritated by your silence and you could understand; you were not making a good impression on him. “I’m sorry I was late, Sir. It won’t happen again.” You finally managed to say, trying to sound more confident than you actually felt. “That’s what to be expected of a marine. I don’t need any half-assed assistant who I can’t even rely on being punctual. Next time this happens you’ll be punished.” He said, meaning every word he said. You swallowed again, nodding at him. “Understood, Sir.”
From then on you spent a lot of time together. You were mostly ordered to run from A to B to collect reports or documents for him and being yelled at when you did the smallest mistakes. The first time you boarded a ship with Sakazuki, however, was the most exciting moment in your life so far. Over the last three weeks you’ve been his assistant for you have gotten used to him and somewhat could anticipate which mood he was in (most of the time not in a good one). Your admiration for him never really wavered; just the respect you had for this man grew even more.
“Y/n, is everything ready for departure?” he asked, standing at the bow of the marine ship, arms crossed in front of his chest. “Yes, Sir. Everything is set and we will leave any moment.” You informed him. Akainu simply nodded, turning around and walking towards a Vice Admiral, talking to him. While he was gone you were following your own train of thought. You never told him that he was the one who saved you and you doubted he actually remembered. You wouldn’t even know how to address it, never finding the right moment. You also doubted he actually cared enough to listen to what you had to tell him so you made the decision to not mention it at all. At least at the moment.
“The admiral wants the reports from today. Bring them to him.” Your Vice Admiral told you, handing you the reports his subordinates had written over the day. You nodded, making your way over to Sakazuki’s office. Cold wind blew inside the small room when you entered, closing the door behind you.
“Do you have the reports, Y/n?” he asked, not looking up from his desk. “Yes, Sir. They’re all here.” You replied, handing them over to your boss. He nodded, not acknowledging your presence any further. You were about to leave when his deep voice caught you off guard. “Have I told you to leave?” he asked, still not looking up. You were confused, stopping in your tracks. “No, Sir.”
“I want you to take a look at this an tell me if you find anything suspicious.” He said, holding a piece of paper up. You nodded, still confused but took it and sat on the other chair, starting to read. You felt his eyes on you, watching you while you read and it made you feel nervous. It was hard for you to concentrate, your eyes looking up at him from time to time, needing to find where you had left before and taking unnecessarily long. Of course, he noticed.
“Is there a reason why you stop reading all the time?” he wanted to know, a scowl on his face. “N-no, Sir. It’s just difficult to concentrate.” You mumbled, pressing your lips shut after realizing you said it out loud. The admiral raised an eyebrow. “And why is that?” he insisted. You shook your head, trying to let the topic drop. “It’s nothing, Sir.”
“I want to know why my assistant is getting distracted when I gave her an order. It must be something very important when it takes up your mind this much.” He narrowed his eyes and you knew you had to tell him something believable. But coming up with a lie was rather difficult with his intense stare so your only option was the truth. “I-it’s just a little distracting when you….look at me like this. It makes me feel nervous.” You admitted.
Sakazuki was silent for a moment, making the whole situation even more unnerving for you. Then he huffed, leaning back in his chair. You looked up at him again, his stare now even more intense than before and with a blush you lowered your gaze again. “If I make you nervous I suggest you get used to it.” He just said. “I guess so, Sir.” You mumbled, trying so hard to focus on the sheet in front of you.
Out of the corner of your eyes you saw him get up from his chair and walk around the small room, waiting for you to finish reading. You felt his presence behind you, your body tensing unconsciously. You imagined his eyes wandering over you back up to your neck, creating small goosebumps on your skin. You wondered what he was thinking about. Your mind all of a sudden went crazy, the most bizarre scenarios played in your head and you lost your focus completely.
Your face as beet red at the thought of him possibly considering you attractive, him thinking about seducing you, him thinking about touching you – all those thoughts and you didn’t know if they were actually true. Your mind was playing tricks on you; the time you’ve spent together apparently had you develop feelings towards this man behind you and you caught yourself more often than not imagining being intimate with him.
There was this one time where you accidentally saw him shirtless in his office, after he had spilled something on his shirt (he denied it of course) and was changing into a new one. That night you had your first wet dream about him but you tried to play it down, telling yourself it was just the close proximity you two were sharing that naturally made you feel sexually attracted to him. But it never stopped. Soon, you actively fanaticized about him and you felt ashamed about it.
“Are you done, Y/n?” he brought you back to reality and you slowly shook your head no. “I-I’m sorry, Sir. I don’t seem to be able to concentrate. I think I might be too tired.” You said, hoping he believed you. You didn’t dare to turn around and look at him but you put the paper down on the desk in front of you, showing him that you were being honest. Akainu huffed. You heard footsteps coming closer to you until you saw his shoes next to your chair.
You looked up at him unsettled, anticipating his scolding.
“You seem awfully tense around me the for the past week. Is there something you need to tell me? If not, I suggest you get over it and take your job seriously. I don’t need someone who gets distracted so easily.” You couldn’t possibly tell him that you were thinking about him being naked and between your legs!
“I just wanted to say how thankful I am for getting this opportunity serving under you, Sir.” God! This sounded wrong! What if he thinks I want to have sex with him? Well, technically I do but he mustn’t know!
Sakazuki didn’t know what was going on in your head but just nodded. You were sure he didn’t believe you but also knew you wouldn’t tell him. So, he left it at that. “If you can’t do a better job tomorrow, I will replace you.”
You were ordered to stay on the ship today for whatever reason. The admiral was probably still not pleased with your performance yesterday that he wanted to punish you for it since he kind of knew how much you wanted to fight. Besides you there were a handful of other marines still on the ship but it was quiet over all. You had the order to organize the various reports in his office.
When you couldn’t find one you were sure you had seen yesterday you looked for it in his entire office. When you still couldn’t find it you thought that he might’ve taken it with him last night to his room. You were not allowed to enter his room but maybe this was an exception? Plus, he wasn’t here yet and it probably wouldn’t take long. But when it was gone, he would know that someone was in his office. But maybe he wouldn’t be too mad…
Before you knew it you had opened his door (surprisingly it wasn’t locked) and stepped inside his room. It was dark and you needed to turn on the lamp. The dim light barely illuminated the room but you could see enough to find your way around. On the nightstand you saw them – the five missing reports. You hurried over and picked them up, you were almost out the door when a thought hit you. You stopped dead in your tracks and turned around, looking at his neatly made bed. It was huge.
You slowly walked back, stopping in front of it and contemplating with yourself. You should just leave and never come back here! But you really wanted to lay down in his bed – just once – and see how he was sleeping. Without thinking twice you laid down on his big bed on your stomach and pressed your face into his pillow, closing your eyes. It smelled like him; he had this distinct smell of musk and a hint of cologne that made your knees go weak every time you were close to him.
Unconsciously, you let your hand wander down and between your legs, pushing pat the restraints of your uniform pants and panties. You felt your sex getting wet the more you smelled the pillow, your finger starting to rub against your folds, spreading your slick on your cunt. You moaned into the pillow, imagining it being his hand stoking you, his weight pressing down on you and his hot breath tickling your neck.
Your fingers entered your core, moving in and out, imagining his thick dick taking you as he pressed your head into the pillow. Another moan, this time a little louder, when you entered a second finger, spreading them inside of you. You’ve never had sex but you liked to imagine what it would feel like. His dick going deeper and deeper, taking your virginity as he praised you how good you were making him feel.
You turned on your back, pulling down your pants, spreading your legs, and taking the pillow from under your head, pressing it to your face with one hand while the other one entered your core again, thrusting inside of you. Your mind was in a frenzy, now imagining how he would take you like this, his cold eyes looking down at you with this cold gaze. You shivered, your fingers thrusting in and out faster.
“What do you think you’re doing there, Y/n?” You stopped dead in your tracks, your body tensing at the sound of his voice. Why was he back yet? He wasn’t supposed to be back for at least another hour! You were frozen in place, not being able to move, not wanting to pull the pillow aside and look at the man that was standing in the room, watching you fuck yourself on your fingers in his bed.
“I asked you a question.” You could hear his footsteps coming closer and soon after the pillow on your face was being lifted, making you look at your superior. “Are you having fun?” he asked, his harsh eyes staring right at you. He’s gonna kill me! Your mind screamed. A huge lump had formed inside your throat, making it impossible for you to answer. He let the pillow fall next to you on the bed, his eyes not leaving your face.
“If you need to masturbate this badly, why don’t you do it in your own bed, Y/n?” You couldn’t reply, shock was written all over your face. His gaze now wandered down your body to where your fingers were still buried in your went cunt. You didn’t know what he was thinking, his face this unreadable mask. He didn’t sound mad but he didn’t sound pleased either. But maybe this was a good sign.
“Don’t you have to say anything to your defense? Nothing like ‘Oh, my bed is broken so I used yours, Sir’?” Your face turned red and you slowly pulled your fingers out, his eyes following the motion. “I…..” you started but didn’t know what to say. “I should throw you out just like this, making everybody see what you’ve been doing in here.” He mused.
“P-please, don’t do this.” You found your voice, horrified at the possibility of him going through with this thought. “And why shouldn’t I?”
“I-it was a mistake, Sir! I was just….I wasn’t thinking!” Akainu huffed and amusement, his eyes finding yours again. “Is that so. What made you think it was acceptable to masturbate in your superior’s bed? Does it give you some kind of kick?” You shook your head and were about to pull your pants up but his next words stopped you.
“Were you thinking about me while you fucked yourself on your fingers?” mortified, you looked at him. “Were you thinking about how it was me fucking you?” you didn’t know what to say, too horrified to answer. “What makes you think you could handle me, Y/n?” still, no answer.
Sakazuki tilted his head to the side, watching you in slight amusement. “Take the rest of your clothes off.” His order caught you off guard. “S-Sir?”
“Did you hear me stutter? I said, take the rest of your clothes off.” His tone was harsher, leaving no room to argue.
With shaky hands you sat up and unbuttoned your uniform blouse, revealing your bra which followed soon after. You weren’t sure what he wanted to do; maybe he would throw you out like this, completely naked and humiliated. But you weren’t prepared for what came next. The admiral unbuttoned his shirt as well, revealing his muscular chest and more of his tattoo. Your eyes grew wide in disbelief. What was going on.
“I take it if I fuck you now you’ll become more focused on your tasks again, right?” he asked while opening his pants, pulling out his still soft member. You were afraid of your eyes popping out at the sight, inching away from him by instinct. He kneeled down on the mattress, towering over you.
Your heart was hammering in your chest when he positioned himself between your legs, pulling you closer to him. His hand started stroking himself. You watched in amazement as his dick turned harder and harder until it laid heavy in his hand. “Let’s get it done and over with, shall we?” he made it sound like a transaction at a crowded supermarket where he just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
“W-wait! I…You…you shouldn’t…” but he pressed a hand over your mouth, shutting you up. “What I should and shouldn’t do is none of your concern.” He positioned himself at your wet entrance, sliding his dick over your folds, making you mewl in response. He took his hand away and put it right next to your head, kneeling over you completely. When he was about to enter you, you inched away, looking at him scared.
“P-please….be gentle….” You pressed out, realizing that his dick was way bigger than you had imagined. It would hurt, you were sure of it. Akainu pulled you closer again; you could feel his thick mushroom head at your entrance again. “Please…! I….I’ve never had….I’ve never done it before…” you stuttered, averting your eyes. The admiral’s eyes narrowed in response, looking your body up and down again.
He didn’t answer, you only felt his weight press against your entrance, his dick slowly but surely sliding inside your body. Your whole body tensed up, pain filling your core as he pushed further and further. You grabbed his arm next to your head with you hand, clawing at his skin in discomfort. “S-Sir! Please…give me some time!” you pleaded, eyes tightly shut.
You could hear his slightly uneven breathing and felt his big member slowly fill your up. The stretch was more than uncomfortable and your body tried to move away from him with every new inch he added. You felt a hand come up to your breasts, playing with them and squeezing them. You opened your eyes a little, looking up at his stern face. You looked down, seeing your hips raised to meet his dick, ass hanging in the air. You saw his dick not even buried half inside of you and it made your heart skip a beat in fear. This was never going to fit completely!
He pulled out a little before moving back in. “Ungh!” you gasped, your grip on his arm tightening at the feeling. He repeated the movement, each time pushing in a little further. His hand moved down from your breast and between your legs, finding your clit and circling it lazily with his thumb. You legs twitched at the feeling and you wanted to close your legs but he wouldn’t let you; his hips were in your way so you had to let him do.
“S-sir…..this feels kind of good…” you panted, trying to concentrate on his thumb on your clit. “Just because it’s your first time. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be this kind.” His words made your stomach tingle inside. So, he at least cared a little about you. Your legs slowly wrapped around his hips as good as possible and you pulled him a little closer, looking him in the eyes while you did it.
Sakazuki grinned a little, starting to pick up his pace. His thrusts became deeper and deeper, filling you out more and more. His thumb pressed down in your clit, adding a little bit of heat, making you moan out in pleasure. “S-sir!” you panted, grabbing at his wrist. “You want me to stop playing with you clit?” he asked, about to pull his hand away. “N-no! Please, keep doing this!” you begged, looking at him desperately. “Then let go of my wrist.” He replied.
You let your hand lay next to your head while the other one was still grabbing the arm right next to your head. Akainu’s thrusts became harder, the fabric of his pants scratching at the back of your thighs and his heavy balls slapping against your ass. He was filling you out all the way, your cunt pressed flush against his pelvis.
Your moans got louder, the uncomfortable feeling already pushed to the back of your head thanks to his thumb on your clit, adding heat from time to time. You saw your tits wiggle at his thrusts, you back arched when he hit a special sweet spot inside of you. The admiral groaned above you, slamming his dick inside of you without mercy.
He put his hand that was next to your head on your hip and hold you in place, panting heavily while he fucked you without any hesitation. Since you needed a new source of support to grab on you reached over your head to head of the bed, grabbing the the mattress and clawing your fingers into it.
Sakazuki closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling of your tight cunt squeezing him with every thrust, ready to milk him. He wasn’t sure if he would be able to make you cum, being it your first time but he was honestly more fixated on his own at the moment. His hips snapped back and forth, your moans filling his room your writhing body underneath his – it all was really appealing to the older male. He wouldn’t say it out loud but when he found you lying here on his bed with your legs spread he would’ve loved to take you at once but his self-control was stronger than his instincts.
“I…I think I’m gonna…I’m gonna cum, Sir!” you moaned, raising your hips more to meet his thrusts, your legs pressing him closer to you to feel him even deeper. He watched you trow your head back, your small body tensed underneath him before your muscles spasmed around his dick, clenching and unclenching as you came with a loud moan, your back arching, you tits bouncing a little.
The admiral huffed and groaned deeply, joining you in your orgasm soon after. Before he came he pulled out though, mind not clouded enough that he might forget it. His slick semen was covering your stomach, his hand stroking himself eagerly to let every drop of his seed come down on your body.
You were panting heavily, watching thick ribbons of cum cover your stomach. You reach out, collecting some of it on your finger and licking it up, tasting him on your tongue. It was salty and bitter, nothing like you expected but it was somewhat good nonetheless. You bit your lip at his stare, feeling so shameless and dirty to just taste his cum like some whore but you simply couldn’t help.
“Are you gonna be able to focus on your tasks from now on, Y/n?” he asked while he pulled out, inspecting the mess you two have made. Blushing you nodded shyly, pulling your legs to your body and closing them. “Good. We wouldn’t want this small incident to repeat itself, now would we?” you blushed even deeper at his smirk, knowing this probably wasn’t the last time. After all, this mission would take at least another month.

Text
He was born different from ordinary people, with memories of his own birth. Once without love ties, he did not hesitate to kill Concubine Zo in order to descend into the earthly world.
The emperor of Zhou held a grudge against him because of Concubine Zou's death, and the palace staff mistreated him at every turn, he never understood what was wrong, he just wanted to live, who was born to die?
Now there is a love thread, his heart is inevitably confused.
Shouldn't this be done?
Why, that woman lives, he has to die.
He wanted to live, even if he couldn't get enough to eat and wear, even if he was ridiculed and scolded, he wanted to live.
While this novel is not in the same universe of quality as 2ha, it addresses some of the same points, points I rarely see addressed in web novels - they love to have either someone who’s been wronged come back reincarnated and seek revenge (but they are right to do so), or be someone who’s been horribly mistreated and fall for the person who shows them care and kindness. But in either scenario, the person with the horrible life is, at their base a just person and a human person.
This novel posits something different and much more realistic (despite it being a truly gonzo novel in every other way.) Which is if nobody teaches you how to be a human and all you get is mockery and abuse, you are not going to grow up nice or normal or even comprehending how human relationships work. Because yes, Tantai Jin was born without “feelings” (something Su Su restored to him when she jumped off the battlements), but (1) was he really? He was still able to love Su Su however twisted that love was - and with his background how could his love not be twisted regardless of “love strings” being present or absent anyway? and (2) even when he regains all the capacity for human emotion he’s supposed to have, he doesn’t magically become empathetic and good, nor does he develop instinctive understanding of feelings. He levels the city that supported the eighth prince (the prince who caused Susu’s death), he tortures Yu Bingshang to death to punish her for killing Susu.
And when I read the extras (I like to read out of order, I loved the timeline twistiness - the reason the goddess child Tantai Jin loved looked like Susu was because demon lord TJ sent it back into the past to his pitiful childhood self as part of a hope he will fall in love and alter his fate), the thing that struck me were the extras of his time in the Free and Easy Sect - and you see it’s there he gradually learns how to be a human, what behavior is OK and what is not and it’s sloooow and not instinctive. Because he has to learn, it’s not innate in anyone. It’s like the bit in the secret realm where the divine weapon tells Susu she will take her to her real father. Tantai Jin has no objection or anything but to him it’s the equivalent of someone saying “let’s go look at this tree” - he has never had any parental love or an familial one so this is utterly alien to him. Some of my fave bits are in the third and final go-around, when she finds him reborn and human and seemingly with no memory (tho he has memories but he’s staying away because he thinks that’s what she’d like; he’d learned to be unselfish. When he genuinely asks her if she’s disappointed he’s alive OMG) are his interactions with his daughter because he’s very kind but you can also tell he has NO idea how to act. And I love it. Su Su, who is now both an adult emotionally and healed from all her own past issues, gets this and I love that one of the things she does at the end is encourages him to go hang out at the Free and Easy Sect and interact with people, and raise their kid and even go to her family’s home and listen to her talk about her childhood - because he has less experience than a small child would with normalcy and healthy relationships and warmth and he needs this and needs the gradual learning.
Also, this bit near the end is !!!!
"The third young lady of General Ye's house has liked the young emperor who embroidered the cover for her. Li Susu in the dream world, liked Cang Jiuxin who mended her soul." She paused, her voice was very soft and gentle. Tantai Jin heard the divine maiden's voice as gentle as the March spring breeze: "Just as I am now, loving you who forgot to go home."
The candle flame reflected his silhouette, and his eyes suddenly were wet.
In order to wait for these words, he stayed alone in the cold ghost crying river, enduring the pain of centuries of flesh and bone being swallowed and growing again. He walked across the sprite land, the bleak moon behind him. He was in the same sad path for a thousand years, enduring the astral wind and slowly coalescing his soul.
Even the Tao sighs for him.
How can loving someone be so bitter as this?
He thought that if he waited longer in this life, he would still be the boy who was trapped in the nightmare demon dream world, the boy who ate the glass fragments and never waited for the goddess to come down to earth.
But I don't know when, his goddess looked back and finally had his shadow in her eyes.
I loved that this time when they got married, she actually did her own embroidery. AWWWW
I love that they were both horrible to each other and saved each other and ultimately they were even but they also stopped counting. MMMMM
