What a delightful and adorable surprise to find in my messages from @tomoyoo: sparkling art of the penultimate scene from the most recent chapter of Coattails!! Looking at it, I suddenly feel like I understand Sebastian when he said Ciel was more adorable when he's asleep... I really put Dadbastian through the ringer, but it's all worth it for these moments of calm, right Seb? 😅

So I read Coattails by @pain-in-the-butler and HNNNG I LOVED IT. I read a chapter a night this past month and it easily became my favourite part of the day, I couldn’t wait to read more…alas, I have finished for now, but I so wanted to draw something for it because wow.

In the fic, Ciel and Sebastian have these “nightly meetings” and it was so cute, I had to draw it 🥺💕

after a week I finally got to read @pain-in-the-butler 's chapter 28 of Coattails ^v^

one of the beauties of this fanfic is as I've said, the imagery, so whenever I read a chapter my brain is full of scenes and I always crave to capture them, atleast how I see them. unfortunately, I don't always get to do that... but drawing a silly little thing to capture the essence of the chapter is just as good for me.

anyway yea. this chapter was very rainy. I'm 50% serious cause I think he was wet 50% of the time. even if I'm wrong, I couldn't get rid of the image.
