Maybe live and let live isn't the best way to live-- but it's the only way I know how to live, how to exist, how to survive
Better than someone controlling me. But is there such a thing as human connection?

The symbol
Jinx x fem!reader
summary: “Piltover saw her as a terrorist, and Zaun’s rhetoric had twisted her into a martyr while she was still alive. She was a ghost haunting two cities, a myth both sides needed alive or dead.” Jinx. The loose cannon. The symbol.
cw: angst, >4k words, buckle up
author’s note: This whole fanfic is based off of ONE (1) clip of Jinx looking sad in the s2 trailer, call me dramatic.

At first, it was animosity that sparked between Jinx and you—a collision of egos in a city that thrived on confrontation. You weren’t a stranger to her troublemaker reputation, nor were you safe from her seemingly endless pranks. Your every encounter was charged, filled with barbed comments and sharp glances. She reveled in your irritation, finding joy in ruffling your feathers.
Yet each time you clashed, you also learned a little more about each other. Your differences started sparking curiosity instead of just annoyance, and beneath the surface, something began to shift. There were moments when you caught a glimpse of the vulnerability that lurked behind Jinx’s bravado—a fleeting expression that hinted at a deeper story.
As the weeks turned into months, the sharp edges of your relationship began to soften. Your bickering became more playful, the insults laced with laughter rather than anger. Slowly, what had once been hatred turned into friendship. You became an unlikely duo, navigating the mayhem of Zaun side by side. Jinx introduced you to a world of spontaneity and mischief. She taught you how to embrace the chaos rather than fear it. In return, you grounded her, offering a safe space amidst the storms of her life—a place where she could let her guard down. Where she was wild, you were steady; and together, you balanced each other out.
It was only a matter of time before your friendship gave way to something more complex, of course. You spent countless nights together, talking until dawn, revealing pieces of yourselves you had long kept hidden, and sharing dreams that stretched beyond the gritty streets of Zaun.
Jinx carried a lot of scars, some visible, most hidden. You never pushed, never demanded to know the whole story, never made her relive it, never asked for more than she was ready to give. You had a quiet understanding of her, a patience that she found both infuriating and comforting. She wasn’t used to people sticking around, and she didn’t think she could care about someone like that again. But you made her believe, if only for a moment, that there was something more to life than just survival. You would sit beside her, stitching up wounds in silence, your touch gentle and reassuring. You knew how to handle her moods, the unpredictable bursts of frustration. You never tried to fix it. You just were. And somehow, that was enough.
But that was before Jinx blew up half the council, and everything went to shit.
“You have the chance to rally the undercity together.” You can still recall Sevika’s words. “You’re a symbol.” And you almost scoffed at the idea. Your Jinx becoming a symbol for the city that villainized her to no end? They didn’t deserve that. How could they, after already dooming her once before? But sticking inaccurate labels was their forte. In the end, this one stuck, too.
And so Jinx disappeared beneath the weight of their faith.
For Zaunites, she had become more than just a rogue with a penchant for destruction—she really was a symbol, a rallying cry against the oppression of Piltover. They thought she fought for them, for a cause bigger than herself.
But she never asked for any of it. She never wanted to be anyone’s icon. You knew that better than anyone.
To her, it was just noise.
Your Jinx never cared about the revolution—not in the way people expected her to, anyway. She wasn’t in it for justice or freedom. Her motives were rooted in something far more personal: revenge. She had no grand vision, no dreams of liberation. All she had was the cold satisfaction of making Piltover suffer the way it made her suffer. She wanted to tear apart the illusion of perfection that cloaked the grand City of Progress, to make its citizens feel the same fear and destruction that had once consumed her. It was the only time she felt in control. In the chaos, she could forget the nightmares, the past, and even herself for a while. She could become the whirlwind, unstoppable and feared, rather than the broken girl who used to beg for things to make sense.
Yet now, Zaun saw her as its hero. Its champion. And Jinx couldn’t stand it. The citizens looked to her like she had some grand plan, like she would lead them to independence. The weight of their expectations pressed down on her, suffocating her more than any chain or cell ever could.
On the flip side, the enforcers wanted her dead. Posters with her face plastered the city, patrols hunted her down relentlessly, and there was nowhere left to hide. She was clever and cunning, but there were only so many laps she could run around them before her lungs would give out.
So, you did your best to push Jinx to stay one step ahead of everyone trying to either kill her or claim her. You dealt with the little things—finding safehouses when it was too dangerous to stay in one place, gathering supplies, and making sure she had somewhere to disappear when things got too heated. You were resourceful, calm under pressure, and always thinking ahead. But how could you be anything else in those dire times? You couldn’t afford to falter. Not now. Not when Jinx needed you to stay afloat. You had unwavering loyalty despite the harsh words that slipped past her lips when her emotions overflowed. Beneath it all, she was still the same girl—the one who still dreamed of something better, who still laughed with you in the quiet moments, who still loved you.
You could see her exhaustion, the way her mask would crack just a little when she came back home bruised from another close call with the enforcers. And you’d hold her during those times, let her cry and sob and shake in your arms. It was just the two of you—she was safe. But no matter how real and vulnerable she was in the small hours of the night, the morning always came, and with it, the chaos behind Jinx’s name.
And in that chaos, she would live. And in that chaos, she would die, little by little.
Piltover saw her as a terrorist, and Zaun’s rhetoric had twisted her into a martyr while she was still alive. She was a ghost haunting two cities, a myth both sides needed alive or dead.
And in all of it, Jinx wanted nothing more than to disappear—to vanish from the world she had once desperately tried to belong to. She wasn’t anyone’s leader or scapegoat—she didn’t even want to be remembered. She was just tired. Tired of running, tired of being the person they all demanded her to be. You could see it in the way she looked at you sometimes, like she wanted to say something, like she was planning a way out that didn’t involve pulling you down with her. But you had made your choice a long time ago. You weren’t going anywhere, you wouldn’t walk away from her.
“Whatever happens, I’m here,” you’d tell her when the world outside felt too loud. “I’m not leaving.” And the tension in Jinx’s body unwinded, even if just a little, as if those simple words were the only thing keeping her grounded. It was in those moments that you knew you were doing something right, even if you couldn’t fight her battles for her.
At night, when the adrenaline of violence faded, she was haunted by the memories—ghosts of those she’d lost, faces of the people she had once loved, and the echoes of a life she could never return to. The nightmares were relentless, dragging her back to the moment when everything fell apart. She would wake drenched in sweat, hands shaking, reaching for a gun or a bomb that wasn’t there. No amount of chaos in the streets could drown out the chaos in her own mind. The terror that gripped her in her dreams was not something she could outrun or fight. It clung to her like a second skin, a constant reminder that no matter how much destruction she caused, it would never be enough. She was still the broken girl beneath the explosions and the mayhem. Or that’s what she thought of herself, at least.
And there was no way out. Not anymore.
“It almost feels like the only way for you to find peace is through death,” you worriedly whispered once as you cradled her in your arms. “And I can’t have that,” you added, but Jinx’s mind was already reeling. Unbeknownst to you, she had thought about it more than once. Ending it all in one final explosion, letting the flames consume her just like they had consumed her heart so long ago. It would be easy. One pull of the trigger, one detonation, and it would all be over.
But even death had a bitter edge, and the question that haunted her, night after night, was whether even death would be enough to set her free. Or would they find a way to twist that, too, turning her final act into another legend for the revolution? Paint her as the glorious martyr who died for Zaun’s freedom?
Jinx didn’t know.
And that uncertainty kept her alive, if only for a little while longer, though she didn’t know why—she couldn’t even die on her own terms. The irony made her laugh sometimes, in the moments when the absurdity of it all was too much to bear.
If she was going to die, she would make sure they all remembered why she had never been their hero, why she had never fought for anyone but herself.
And so it started with a bang—because of course it did.
But this time felt different. There was something almost methodical about the way Jinx moved, the way she set her traps, as if she knew this was the last time she would walk these streets. The last time her bombs would rip through the orderly facade of the City of Progress.
She didn’t laugh as much that day. The usual gleam in her eyes was dimmer, her movements more controlled. The sun was setting, casting a harsh golden glow over Piltover’s spires as Jinx climbed to the top of a high rooftop, overlooking the heart of the city. This is where it will happen, she thought. The grand finale. She had spent weeks preparing. Every bomb was precisely placed, every escape route meticulously planned. The city was on high alert—word had spread that Jinx was planning something big. But no one knew exactly where, or when, the storm would hit.
The first explosion tore through the night just as the clock struck midnight. Fire lit up the streets below, throwing debris into the sky while the enforcers scrambled to contain the damage. Then came the second explosion, larger, closer to the city’s industrial district. Smoke filled the air as panic spread through Piltover like wildfire. The citizens ran in every direction, knowing that when Jinx was involved, no place was safe.
She stood on the rooftop, watching the chaos unfold beneath her. She felt nothing. No excitement, no satisfaction. This wasn’t the same thrill she used to chase. Her fingers hovered over the detonator for the final bomb—the biggest one, the one that would make the others look like fireworks. She had rigged it to collapse an entire section of the city, to leave Piltover scarred in a way it would never forget.
But tonight wasn’t about the explosion. It wasn’t about the destruction.
The enforcers were closing in. She could see them swarming through the streets below, moving toward her position. They had found her. They always did, eventually. Jinx glanced at the timer on the last bomb. She had set it for just long enough to make her escape—or so they would think. But the truth was, there wouldn’t be an escape tonight.
When the enforcers reached the rooftop, they found her standing there, framed against the night sky, the city burning below her. The air was thick with smoke, and in the chaos, they barely noticed the subtle smile that crossed her face.
“Time’s up,” she said softly, her voice lost in the wind.
She pressed the detonator.
The explosion was deafening, a wall of fire and debris engulfing the rooftop in an instant. The force of it sent the enforcers flying, tearing through the structures around them. When the dust settled, the building was gone—obliterated along with everything and everyone on it.
The news spread fast.
Jinx is dead.
There was no body left to recover, no remains to mourn, and no trace of her. Just the rubble of the building she had destroyed and the twisted wreckage of her devices. The enforcers confirmed it—there was no way she could have survived.
“Target neutralized” were the words bitterly spoken through the ranks with a cold efficiency. There was no name attached, but everyone knew who it was about. The official statement came shortly after: “A threat to the city has been eliminated.”
Days passed and Piltover began to rebuild, as it always did after Jinx’s attacks, the destruction slowly being replaced with gleaming new structures. Streets were cleared, debris removed, and life returned to a semblance of normalcy. There were no coffins for the fallen enforcers whose bodies were lost to the fire—only statues erected in their names, cold monuments serving as both tribute and reminder of the price paid for order. The city moved on—or at least tried to. Some celebrated, cautiously, though few were willing to believe the news completely. There had been too many close calls, too many times they thought they had her. But this time, it felt different. This time, the destruction had swallowed her whole, leaving behind an eerie silence where her chaotic laughter once echoed.
Zaun, on the other hand? That was a little bit more complicated. For the people who had seen her as a reckless force that harmed their city as much as Piltover did, her death came as a relief, and her absence promised a fragile peace, however fleeting. But to others, the more sensitive ones, tears had to be shed, heads shaking in disbelief. Candlelit vigils appeared in the undercity, graffiti of her wild grin painted on the walls. People would whisper, looking for the next symbol for their revolution—anything and anyone they could place their hopes on. Amidst this emotional turbulence, a third reaction emerged from the more organized factions who saw it as the opportunity they had been waiting for. With Jinx gone, they could finally rise to the storefront. The power vacuum left in her wake ignited their ambitions, and the streets buzzed with the promise of a new era, one that could either heal the wounds of the past or plunge the city into an even deeper turmoil.
The cities spoke of heroes and villains, grappling with the complexities of Jinx’s legacy—a legacy that blurred the lines between destruction and freedom, chaos and control.
That being said, everything unfolded exactly as she had predicted, but the victory felt almost hollow.
“It almost feels like the only way for you to find peace is through death.” And it really was, so she had faked it perfectly. The plan was reckless, audacious—everything she embodied. The explosion had served as the perfect cover, and in that moment of chaos, she had slipped through the cracks, hidden among the shadows of her own creation.
For Jinx, this was not just an escape; it was a calculated act of liberation. Her liberation. The city that had once been her playground had turned into a gilded cage, and she had grown tired of the endless games of cat and mouse.
Now standing on the edge of the city, Zaun stretches out before her like a memory she can’t quite shake. Her eyes trace the tangled streets below, the dark alleyways, the flickering lights, and the twisted pipes, burning the sight into memory. She inhales deeply, her nostrils filling up with the familiar smell of smoke and oil. A wave of nostalgia washes over her. She can almost hear the echoes of laughter and the distant sounds of explosions that had once filled her days with exhilaration. A tear wells up in her eye, but she blinks it away, wiping at her eyes quickly, almost angrily. Jinx doesn’t cry. Not for anyone. Not for anything.
Not anymore.
With a heavy heart, she grips the railing tighter, her knuckles turning white as the memories swirl like smoke around her before she relaxes—a conscious decision.
“I’ll miss you, you filthy, broken place.” She chuckles dryly. She had spent years running wild here, feeling untouchable. But now, it’s time to go. “You were everything, and yet, you were never enough.” The words hang in the air, a promise to herself that she would carry the spirit of Zaun wherever she went, even as she turns her back on it. Her heart clenches, a strange ache settling in her chest as she realizes this could be the last time she’d see it—the city that had been her home and her battlefield.
“Are you sure you want to do this?" you ask, your voice soft and gentle. “You’d be leaving everyone behind.” The blue-haired girl knows exactly who you mean by that.
Vi.
Jinx could almost see it—her paling face when she heard the news, the way her fists clenched and her heart broke, crumbling beneath the grief, believing that her little sister was gone forever. The thought cut deep, deeper than Jinx was ready to admit. Vi had been her everything once. And after everything they’d been through, after everything they’d lost, Jinx hated herself for causing her more pain, for inflicting yet another wound—and this time, it’s a wound that’ll never quite heal, the cruelest cut of them all. A part of her wanted to run back. To find Vi and tell her the truth. To stay.
But Jinx knew that wasn’t an option.
Not now.
So why does it feel like she’s tearing herself apart?
The soft touch of a hand on her shoulder brings her back to the present. She turns, meeting your gaze. You stand beside her, quiet but steady, the anchor she didn’t know she needed until she had found it. She takes a shuddering breath.
“Are you sure you’re ready?” you ask again, your voice filled with nothing but understanding. You know how hard this is for Jinx, how torn she really feels.
She swallows hard, glancing back at the city one more time. It all feels so distant, yet so close—like she can reach out and touch it, like she can run back and undo it all if she tries hard enough. But she can’t. She pictures Vi again, her strong, fierce sister who had always fought for her, always believed she could be saved. Jinx hated the thought of what this would do to her, of the hole it would leave in her heart. But deep down, she knew she couldn’t be the person Vi wanted her to be. Not yet. She had tried. She had failed. And now, she has to move on, even if it means breaking the last connection she has to her past.
“I don’t know if I’ll ever be ready,” Jinx whispers, her voice catching in her throat. You nod, your expression softening even further as your hand intertwines with hers, and the warmth of your touch reminds her why she’s leaving—for a chance to start over. To be something else, someone else, outside of the chaos and violence that had defined her for so long.
Vi would survive, like she always had. She would grieve, but she would move on. And in time, Jinx hoped that she’d understand why she had to go.
“I just don’t want her to hate me.” Her voice is small, almost fragile as the confession falls from her lips before she can stop it, the rawness of her words cutting through the silence. You frown as you take a step closer, pulling her into a gentle embrace.
“She won’t hate you,” you murmur against her hair. “She’ll hurt, she’ll be angry, but she’ll never hate you. Vi loves you, Jinx.” She leans into you, burying her face in your shoulder for a moment, letting herself feel the comfort she so desperately needs.
“I just wish I could explain.” The angry tears threaten to spill out again. “I wish I could tell her why I had to do this.”
“She knows.” You can only hug her tighter now, hoping it’ll keep her from falling apart.
Slowly, she pulls back, her breath still shaky but steadier now. “I guess it’s too late to change my mind, huh?” she asks with a weak smile, though her heart isn’t in it.
“This doesn’t have to be permanent, you know? We can always come back when the time is ready.” Jinx nods, but the guilt still gnaws at her, sharp and relentless.
Turning fully toward the road ahead, her hand finds yours again as she laces your fingers together like an unspoken promise. “Let’s go,” she says, her voice almost resolute as if she’s still trying to convince herself that this is the right thing to do.
Jinx’s heart aches for what she’s leaving behind as the both of you walk away from Zaun. But then she glances at you, walking calmly by her side, and—albeit briefly—she feels a sense of peace. For the first time in a long time, she isn’t running alone. She isn’t running from something either, despite the way it seems. She’s running toward something—a life she could build, not destroy, with someone who sees her for more than the broken pieces. Someone who’s willing to leave everything behind to be with her.
You give her hand another gentle squeeze, pulling her out of her thoughts. “We’re almost there,” you say softly, gesturing toward the darkened outskirts of the city where the world feels smaller, where the noise of Zaun fades into a distant hum. Beyond it, freedom awaits—freedom from the past, from the wreckage you’re leaving behind.
The night stretches out before you, vast and uncertain. Jinx had never been good with the unknown; she thrived on chaos, on knowing how to manipulate it. But this? Walking away from everything she’d ever known, stepping into a future that isn’t filled with explosions and destruction—it terrifies her.
But it’s also the only thing that makes sense anymore.
You lean closer, your warmth cutting through the chill of the night. “You don’t have to look back if you don’t want to.” She wants to look back. She wants to go back. But she knows it wouldn’t do any good. So she straightens up, fixing her cloak and pulling the hood further over her head.
“I’m not going to,” she replies, her voice firmer now. “I’ve spent enough time looking back.” You nod in understanding. You had talked about this moment for weeks now, about what it would mean for Jinx to truly let go of Zaun, of everything she had once believed she needed to hold on to. It isn’t easy, but it’s necessary.
Finally, you reach the edge, where the lights of the city flicker out entirely, swallowed by the darkness of the wilds beyond.
This is it. The point of no return.
Jinx turns to you, searching your face for strength, for the resolve she so desperately needs. And there it is, shining back at her. She feels the tension in her chest begin to loosen, the weight of her decision finally starting to lift. She can almost taste the adrenaline, the sweet rush of possibility that awaits her beyond the city’s borders—no rules, no limits, and most importantly, no one hunting her down.
The two of you step into the darkness together, the twisted streets and memories of Zaun falling away with each step until all that’s left is the quiet sound of your breathing, the crunch of gravel beneath your feet, and the sense that something new is beginning. She feels something unfamiliar, something almost foreign—hope. It flickers faintly deep inside her, small but real, growing with every step she takes.
Jinx doesn’t look back. She doesn’t need to. She’s finally moving forward.
And as you disappear into the night, a thought echoes in her mind, settling like a truth she can’t ignore.
Nothing ever stays dead.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Midoriya kept his eyes on you. Well more so the clothes you were wearing. He could tell they belonged to Kirishima. The Crimson Riot shirt and shorts that seemed too big on you were accompanied by Jirou's slippers, he was jealous.
If you didn't pack any clothes you could've wore his, he liked when you wore his All Might merch, you were the only person to get away with it.
You had successfully avoided him for most of the evening, now locked yourself inside your bedroom, apparently tired of watching movies and playing games with your other classmates.
He took the opportunity, leaving Shoto and Uraraka to go see how you were doing.
" Where are you going?" Shoto asked, dropping his uno cards on the table and exposing what he had to Uraraka unknowingly.
"I'm gonna check on Y/n, she was acting weird today and I have no idea why." He stated, he ignored any further questions. His heart rate spiking with every thought of you. His feet dragged to the elevator, relaxing against the cool metal walls.
His feet carried him to your room, hand knocking on the door heavily while he stayed completely quiet. If you didn't know he was there you wouldn't feel the need to ignore the door.
"Who is it?" You asked using your quirk. He hadn't expected you to do that, though he was stubborn keeping quiet and knocking harder to catch your attention.
You found the noise annoying, thinking it must be Kaminari or Sero trying to piss you off. You jumped off your barely made bed whispering curses at whoever it was annoying you while you were trying to get ready to sleep.
"What's your problem-" you paused. You had swung the door open hoping that it was one of your annoying friends but instead it was Midoriya, the boy you were trying so hard to avoid. Your eyes settled on his chest his pecs pushing against his white t-shirt while his arms crossed under them.
Then your eyes flicked to his, he didn't seem very happy, a look of anger and desperation clouding his face.
He didn't waste anytime to step into your room, he couldn't risk you shutting the door in his face.
" Wha-," you whispered, stopping yourself from saying anything else in case you blabbed out your secret.
You glared at him, though he could tell there wasn't any malice in your look like you usually had.
You looked vulnerable.
" Why won't you speak to me?" He asked, it came out whiny, like all his words did but he really was distressed about this. His eyes glanced at your clothes then the bedsheets you spread out, all of it was Crimson Riot merch. Had Kirishima stolen you from right under his feet?
He knew you, him and Tetsutetsu were close due to quirk similarity but he never expected you to like any of them, you always liked to keep a clear line between friends and relationships.
" Is it Kirishima, have you replaced me?" He asked, he didn't care if he sounded pathetic or desperate he just had to know if you didn't want to have sex anymore. If that was the case, you could still hang out as friends, he couldn't bare the thought of not sharing the friendship the two of you had now.
You shook your head, your lips remaining sealed. Of course you hadn't replaced him, you physically couldn't do that, your mind and body wouldn't allow you to get with someone else. That was another reason you regretted it a lot because he had ruined you for anyone else.
"Are you still not talking to me?"
He got no response, he really couldn't think of any other way to get you to talk, or crack open just a little bit. He wanted you to feel vulnerable around him to let your guard down and give yourself to him completely.
You looked at the floor, standing with your arms crossed in Kirishima's clothes. They irked him so much, he wanted nothing more than to remove them from your body, he'd prefer for you to walk around naked than to wear another man's clothes.
His eyes grazed your body, a new combination of feelings filling his body. He wanted your eyes on him, acknowledging him, thinking about him, wearing his clothes, worrying about him, he wanted you to feel for him the way he feels for you.
How he tries to aid with hero work and would begin his day wondering how to approach you, his eyes constantly going to you when he's upset to cheer himself up. His body reacting to you, his mind worshiping you and begging for you.
" Can you at least look at me?" He asked, his voice had started to fool you a lot recently. It was horrible how a word from him had your heart clenching, a syllable uttered from the man who has All Might curtains.
Your eyes slowly look up from the floor to his face, registering the look on his face and turning away immediately, you growing hot.
You felt him coming closer, his body stopping a few centimetres in front of yours.
" Come on Y/n, look at me." You couldn't refuse, blinking and looking at him. You didn't remember Midoriya being so intimidating, or dominating. He seemed so big compared to you, you swore your height difference was minimal but you felt like he was towering over you. His eyes held on your face, degrading you and objectifying you.
Your heart fluttered, fists clenched at your sides, while you examined him. The only familiar thing was the red tint on his cheeks forever present though it didn't nullify the carnal gaze he was keeping on your body.
You felt like hiding, electricity thrumming through your body, pulling your body closer to him, chests almost touching. You knew you wouldn't dare make the final step towards him as that would admit defeat. It would mean that impure, corrupt look had rendered you infatuated.
"That's better," he whispered. You noticed his eyes dart to your parted lips. His index slides under your chin, lifting your head up towards him, his other hand slides onto your waist pulling you closer to him, he waits for you to make the first move. He's tired of being refused by you, of being kicked to the curb just because you think he's geeky, he wants you to show that he's not just someone you use to get extra money.
You flutter your eyes shut, leaning forward, lips lingering for his own. He watches and wants to laugh, he wished he was like you and didn't feel bad for teasing, he wanted to give you a taste of your own medicine, but he knew he didn't really feel the need to.
He captured his lips in yours, quick to pull you into him. His hands thread through your braids and grip your scalp, tugging you closer to feel you better. His actions aren't rushed or desperate like the virgin you always tease him for being. He's being slow, his mouth lascivious against your own, you both knew you weren't going to hit him away, he knew you wanted him as much as he wanted you, you're just a little stubborn.
He can fix that.
He slips his tongue in your hot mouth exploring, tasting and claiming. You felt this was dangerous, this was so amorous that it was deadly. Your hands shakily reached for his neck wrapping around it and pulling him deeper. You just needed him to kiss you deeper, for it to become more perverted, more sinful. You wanted him to kiss you like he had wanted you for years to share the desperate touches that you needed. You needed him to feel that burning compulsion that had your warm tongue sliding messily against his own.
You were deliciously overwhelmed, saliva leaving the corners of your mouth while you tangled yourselves into each other, begging for one another's touch.
His scared hand left your scalp to hold your breast, squeezing the flesh over Kirishima's disgusting shirt.
His lips left your own, you panted bringing your palm to wipe your shared saliva. His moist lips snailed your neck and jaw, marking you to ensure all your guy friends are aware that you have been claimed by someone else.
His face leaves your body for a second, standing in front of you to check what your eyes were saying, you hadn't made much noise, your heavy breathing and your constant squirming the only evidence that he even had an effect on you.
" Are you going speak to me now?"
He receives silence once again. He clicks his tongue, annoyed at how persistent you were being with your little stunt. He was gonna get something out of you, even if he had to fuck the words out of you.
His fingers dig into the waistband of your trousers pulling the fabric of your shorts and panties, from your ass and cunt. Your underwear wet from the lustful kiss. Midoriya quirks a brow at your panty and this time allows a laugh to leave his throat. He's taunting and provoking you with this chuckle, like he hadn't been allowed to laugh at home. He's bullying you with this noise, degrading you while his eyes traced the dampened fabric.
" Really? We fucked two days ago and you're this wet, someone might think you're a virgin," His index and middle part your pussy lips while he kneels on the floor getting a look at your thrumming dripping cunt.
He chubs up at the sight wanting nothing more than to thrust his fat cock into you, he knew his dick was crying for it, leaking precum at the thought of filling up your crying pussy, but he wouldn't give it to you yet. Not when you were being so stubborn.
He nuzzles himself between your legs, mouth going straight to your little clit, the nerve twitching. You gasp, fingers diving into his hair as to not fall over. Your mouth drops open, his tongue pressing into your warmth, tongue dragging over your sensitive bud continuously.
You whimpered, his tongue languid on your pussy. You weren't going to speak you had to promise yourself that at least. He was messy yet calculated, his wet muscle sucking, licking and flicking carnally. A pussy drunk expression laying on his face, he was gluttonous when it came to eating out your cunt. He was always a fast learner always studying and he loved studying you, every twitch of your clit and pulse from your tempting heat.
His wide green eyes looked up at you, your grip on his locs strong, grinding yourself against his face , gaining the control that you usually had. Your head tilted back, hips keening to press into him more, to feel his lewd tongue on you just that little bit more.
His fingers traced your thighs, stroking the soft flesh, gently contrasting to the rough flicks of his tongue. His digits slowly dragged up your leg to your pussy, two thick digits curling into you a loud gasp leaving your throat.
You felt so full, so hot. His fingers pressing into the spot that had your body begging for release, his tongue inundating your clit. Your brain fogged, indulging in what he was giving to you, crying out in bliss. You could feel your nerves reacting to what he was doing, hot electric desire spreading though your body, shaking your legs and erecting your sensitive nipples. Your walls sucked him in, begging for something to cum around as you writhed against his face. His free arm wrapped around your thigh, lifting it over his shoulder so he could nuzzle himself deeper in your cunt, a need to taste your pussy as she wept.
You finished with a whine, sure to fall over if it wasn't for Midoriya holding onto you tightly. Your hips rutted into his face to ride your high away exhaling loudly when Midoriya stood up. His hand stroked the small of your back while you looked around in delirium, body quaking from the head he had just given you.
He noticed your zoned out expression clicking his fingers in front of your face to check if you were still with him. You shared his look once again silent as you felt strong feelings threatening to vomit out of your body.
" Are you going to speak to me yet?" He asked, his hands tugging the gross shirt you were wearing, those foreign feelings brewing in his chest once again. You avoided his gaze noticing it become lustful and corrupt.
You panted but refused to speak, stubborn as ever, but your resolve was slowly crumbling. Midoriya was near getting you to speak and he could tell, he knew before he left you would've given him some answers, you wouldn't have him spending ages trying to get a read on you.
He kisses his teeth, slipping his hands under Kirishima's shirt and discarding it on the floor. His eyes lingered on your body, for only a second. You felt degraded arms folding over your chest as if he hadn't seen you naked multiple times. He rolled his eyes, circling around you till he stood behind you.
He grasped your hips, tugging your body against him so you could feel his hardness on your ass. All you could think about was how big he was, humping into your back like he was starved of touch.
His touch was scalding. Goosebumps flickering on your skin beneath his fingers.
He panted heavily, he didn't care if it was embarrassing, he was going to cum in his pants. He didn't care if you'd bring it up in the future to laugh at him.
He finished biting his lip to hide his whine, he wasn't sure if you'd decide to speak at that time to make fun of him and he didn't want to try and see.
He left you standing, taking a few steps back to strip himself of his own clothes, pulling his soiled trousers from his body and letting it fall into a heap on the floor.
His cock was erect once he allowed his eyes to rest on your body, perverted thoughts filling his mind with his anger, driving him to erotic insanity bit by bit. He laid on your bare mattress, the squeak of springs, bouncing underneath him. He smiled and wanted to laugh, seeing you had still been facing the way he left you.
" Y/n?" He called, you came out of whatever daze you were in. Eyes grazing his body. The soft flex of his muscles as he inhaled, the strong kick of his cock when your eyes linger on the strong mass for longer than nessecry forever entrapped by the beauty and size it posessed.
You hummed in response to him, something he hadn't expected to come so easily but he took it either way.
" Come and sit on my cock,"
Midoriya doesn't act like this. That was the thought filling your brain constantly as he touched you. He wasn't dominant he always listened to what you wanted always asking for your guidance, and his actions were always filled with hesitance. Yet now without any training, he was making your pussy quake with his words, turning you into a pathetic horny cock slut just for him.
You walk over to his body, climbing on top of him to begin inserting him into yourself, but he held your wrist tight before your fingers brushed against him.
" No turn around,"
You raise your brow but comply, spinning around and spreading yourself over his lap while facing away from him. You had a habit of taking him all at once, preferring to feel a soft burn rather than a dull ache of slowly taking him in. You pressed his vexed tip into you falling onto him and taking him entirely. You huffed loudly, your hands scrambling behind you to press against his chest to start moving.
However Midoriya had other plans, his arms wrapping around your tummy and pulling you so your back was against his chest. He slid his arms under your legs spreading you as his hands interlocked behind your head, pushing it so you were looking at where he had stretched you.
Your hands found purchase on his hip, nails scrapping as he adjusted himself to thrust into you.
You hadn't had a guy take you in full nelson before the feeling was new, your head craned forward watching him disappear in and out of you, moaning heavily with every thrust that rubbed against your spot.
He was muttering in your ear, demanding a word from you or at least for you to call out his name, he just wanted his name to fall from your pretty lips and he'd take you kindly, like you were his girlfriend instead of a whore that he picked of the streets and didn't want to give him respect.
You shut your eyes, embarrassed from the noises coming from your cunt as well as watching your clit twitch and pussy drool around his thick length.
Midoriya was quickly annoyed with your lack of words once again, green sparks covering his body as he began to increase his pace, rutting into you like a wild dog. He would only use 5 percent he didn't want shatter your bones by going any higher.
"Midoriya!" You shrieked your diamond tipped nails digging into his hips and drawing blood.
He smirked, continuing his harsh thrusts and abusing your cunt. His fingers left your head, pushing into your mouth and hooking into it to spread your mouth open.
" All it took for you to speak was dick! You're such a slut," he teased, feeling your saliva drip out of your mouth onto his fingers.
"Izuku- fuck... It's a lot." You slur, your warmth pulled around him ready to cum already, your body sensitive from your earlier orgasm knowing that this would be the only one that you'd be able to have again before sleeping off.
" Fuck you sound so pretty saying my name like that," he groans one hand leaving your mouth to hold your leg. " You're squeezing me, you gonna cum?" He huffs.
"Yeh !" You squeal, fighting the noises leaving your open mouth and the soft chant of his name under your breath.
You felt suffocated , strangled by the way his quirk bullied his cock into your pussy, splitting you and stretching you and pressing into your spot easily.
You came hard, teeth chomping on the finger in your mouth while you warmth squeezed and pulsed around Midoriya's chubbing bully. Your orgasm pushed him over the edge too, his cum spurting into you and something at the back of Midoriya's head was upset that you had contraception because something selfish within him wanted you all for himself even if it had to be done with a trap.
You panted, being pulled off him and rolling over. You looked at him with half lidded eyes he looked back his face red with embarrassment at how he spoke to you. He didn't know he had it in him.
" I think..." You slur going in and out of sleep.
Midoriya's ears perk up, trying to figure out what you were trying to say.
" I think I have a crush on you." You mumbled before sleeping off.
🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞🪞 i feel like Buck is just chomping at the bit to share his kid with Eddie, like “let me give you my child which is my heart, I know you will take good care of it even if you doubt yourself” vibes. He wants to coparent soooooooooo badly I know he does
He SO is!!!
153 or 1k words for 🪞 - whatever comes first!
---
The thing is, once the refusing to ask for things stops, the lying slowly creeps in. It’s not a lot. It’s not even that bad. It’s just… An occasional issue. Sometimes she’ll lie and say she brushed her teeth, when she clearly didn’t. Sometimes it’s flushing the toilet. Apparently it’s happened a few times at school, in regards to completing schoolwork. Again, never enough to be a huge issue. Just enough for Buck to be concerned.
The problem is, when Buck calls her on it, and tries to address it, she totally shuts down. Silent. Unresponsive. Tight-jawed and angry-stared. Her eyes like two little tempests. It’s bewildering. So different than the kind, gentle little girl he knows.
He asks everyone for advice, of course. He gets a lot of different opinions.
“She needs to be told why lying is wrong,” Maddie suggests. “Who knows what kind of values she’s had passed onto her? She’s a good kid, but you don’t know what gaps she might have. Work with her.”
“Foster kids go through a lot in the system,” Hen explains. “This might be a pressure point you don’t even know about. Something from her past.”
“Kids don’t often act out due to a desire to be bad,” Bobby says. “Usually it’s a sign something else is going on.”
“Chris started lying to test boundaries, I think,” Eddie admits. “Sneaking off with his friends while I thought he was at science club. I don’t know what Dove would be trying to test, but that’s my guess.”
Buck suspects there’s truth in all of it. He just has no idea what to do about it. Beyond potentially talking to Angie. Except, he doesn’t want to seem like he’s having issues. So, Buck is sort of lost.
Until one day, he fixes it by accident.
It’s a rare day where it’s just the two of them. No Eddie. No plans to see anyone else. They went to a pumpkin patch. Picked out a few pumpkins they’ll carve with Eddie soon. Buck found himself taking a silly amount of photos of her without really realizing what he was doing. Like he wanted to freeze the moment forever. Maybe he does.
He puts her to bed that evening with a story. Usually they read together, so she can work on her confidence reading out loud. But Dove is sleepy from running around the pumpkin patch like a little maniac, so Buck cuts her a break and does the reading himself.
By the end of it, he’s on autopilot. She’s sleepy and cozy, snuggled into bed with Chomp hugged to her chest. They’ve had such a good day and he’s so happy. He doesn’t really think of anything but that. How perfect the day was, how glad he is that she’s in his life, how badly he wants to keep her here.
As the story ends, her eyes are fluttering shut. He closes the book, brushes a stray wisp of hair from her face, and leans to kiss the top of her head.
“Sweet dreams, Dove,” he says quietly. “Love you.”
It doesn’t actually occur to him that it’s the first time he’s said it.
It’s certainly not the first time he’s felt it. Or been aware that he’s feeling it. He thought declaring it might be some sort of momentous gesture. Like in a romantic relationship. It all seems big and cinematic almost. But this? This just sort of seeped into him. Made itself known gently. Comfortably. And now he’s said it without thought or circumstance; it just slipped out because he meant it.
He loves this little girl. He loves her so much.
Because she’s half asleep, he doesn’t expect any sort of reaction from her. He stands and moves to turn off the light, when she catches him off guard by sitting bolt right up in bed. He nearly startles.
The look on her face is unreadable. Partly because her eyes are wide with an expression Buck hasn’t seen before. Partly because the stuffed crocodile has been raised to cover her mouth.
“Dove?” He asks, moving his hand away from the lightswitch. “What’s wrong?”
“What did you say?” She asks. Her voice is shaky but careful.
Oh. Fuck. Did he upset her? Should he not have said that? Did he go too far too soon? He thought… Well, he wasn’t thinking.
“I said that I hope you have sweet dreams,” Buck says gently. “And I love you.”
Her cheeks go bright red. Her eyes get a little wet.
“Is that okay, Dove?” Buck asks. “You can tell me if it’s not. I won’t get mad.”
Slowly, she lowers the stuffed animal from her face.
“Are you sure?” She asks.
“Am I sure I won’t get mad? Yes. I promise.”
“No,” she shakes her head. “Not that.”
Oh. Is he sure that he loves her? That’s what she’s asking.
“Of course I’m sure,” Buck says. “I do love you.”
Her bottom lip trembles a little. Like she’s a second away from bursting into tears.
For a second, he doesn’t understand why this is so upsetting to her. It’s supposed to be a good thing. It’s nice to hear that someone loves you! And then the thought occurs to him. Heavy and cold in his chest.
Buck sits down on the edge of the bed.
“Dove, has anyone ever told you that before?” He asks. “Has someone ever said I love you?”
She shakes her head mutely.
Buck feels like someone has punched him in the stomach.
“Oh,” he whispers. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know that.”
She shrugs.
“Do you know, there were a lot of years where no one said it to me, either?” He tells her.
When Maddie moved away. When Buck left Hershey. Really, until Maddie came back. He knows what it feels like to suspect no one loves you.
“Really?” She sniffs.
“Mhm,” he nods. “It made me pretty sad. So I understand.”
Let's Get to Know Each Other's Inquisitors! 20 Questions
I don't know about you all, but I love getting to know other people's characters and seeing all the love they put into them.
Tag some friends and have them answer! Yes, @sweetjulieapples, you can absolutely tag me back!
What is your Inquisitor's name? Mira Trevelyan
Type of build/combat style? Rift Mage. It seemed practical given her immediate challenges. Otherwise, she mostly uses fire and lightning!
Is your Inquisitor close with his/her family? She has a few people she's close with, but overall, she isn't. They weren't good to her when she began showing signs of magical ability (they made it about them and their reputation) and are too much like Orlesians in playing the Game. Mira has at least once sibling she's still on pretty unconditional good terms with along with a cousin who's a total sweetheart, August. Who, if you follow, is kind of my "non-canon" Inquisitor.
Closest friend in the Inquisition? Varric and Dorian! Varric is kind of her rock, and she and Dorian bonded instantly having had similar experiences in not being accepted in their families for things beyond their control (even if the nature of them was different).
Love interest? Cullen, obviously. Mira's very guarded with her heart no matter which type of relationship. She initially had no intention towards him beyond simply thinking he was good-looking and wanting to be able to work together well. She was really surprised by how candid he was in general (a quality that's extremely attractive to her) and the kind of boyish optimism he had towards the Inquisition. Long story short, they worked together a little too well, and he (unknowingly) chipped away at that guardedness while she did the same with him. They're built on trust and openness, and Mira started to realize how safe she felt with him (and he with her). Falling in love scared her, but she realized she could fall safely and that neither one of them had any idea if they were going to see tomorrow. That made her more willing to take the risk.
Your three favorite traits your Inquisitor possesses? Above all else, I think it's the love she has for people and their wellbeing that I favor. She's highly empathetic and genuinely cares for everyone. She's also balanced, nuanced, and fair in her approach and possesses the humility to lead with an open mind and rational hand.
Does he/she like to read? She loves it, though hasn't had any time to since she became Inquisitor. She was a model student in her craft and is extremely well-read. I have a headcanon that she goes down the Swords and Shields wormhole hard once she has more time to do so. I fully believe she and Cullen would have nights where they just read together--him probably with nonfiction texts (he seems the type) and Mira with her "terrible and wonderful" smut. She always looks forward to being able to catch up with Cassandra about them.
Can he/she cook? She can keep herself alive if she needs to, but she's pretty much never had to do it. She didn't cook meals when she was growing up, didn't cook them in the Circle, and didn't cook in the Inquisition. She's very teachable and takes life skills seriously, though. I think it's something she would like to learn and will as soon as she has time.
Favorite season (spring, summer, fall, winter)? I actually think she would love winter and spring most. She loves the beauty in the world falling quiet for a while and coming back to life again.
What would your Inquisitor consider the perfect day? A perfect day for Mira would be a quiet one: tending to small, unimpressive responsibilities, enjoying a beautiful day outdoors, and maybe having a good book in hand. The giant puppy Cullen adopted probably sprawled at her side and snoring loudly.
Does he/she like the Game (and is your Inquisitor good at playing it)? She's excellent at playing it having done so from a young age, but she despises it. Transparency, authenticity, and humility are among the three qualities Mira values most, and those don't exist in the Game.
Is your character good at Wicked Grace? She's average!
What will be his/her favorite memory from the Inquisition? It will be the people she met (i.e., the friends she made along the way).
What's one regret your character has? She regrets every single life she couldn't save, and it wears on her. I think there's a period too in which she struggles with this pretty significantly. Losing Stroud in the Fade crushes her.
If an actor or actress were to play the role of your Inquisitor, who would you pick? I have no idea who this is (and am guessing she's actually a model), but I found this image on Pinterest and this is the closest to what I had in mind for Mira's look. Totally open to suggestions if you know of someone who looks like her!
What would your Inquisitor's childhood dream have been? Mira has always adapted to the situation she's in and tried to be her best within whatever role is placed upon her. I don't think she had a dream of her own, or at least, wouldn't have admitted it to herself. She would've thought it too vulnerable of a dream back then. I think above all, she would want a safe and loving home full of people she loves and who love her back.
Is his/her life anywhere close to that dream? It's closer post-Inquisition. She's on better terms with her family overall (even if it's not perfect, they too grew from accepting partnership with the Inquisition and reconnecting with Mira), married for love, and has pretty much become a full-fledged Rutherford at this point. I like to think that even though they'll always continue to good, she and Cullen have a nice, cozy house in Ferelden near that spot he took her on the lake. It's a place where nobody (except the dog Mira insists to Cullen she didn't spoil) expects anything from them other than to just be.
What's the hardest part about being Inquisitor for your character? Deciding people's fates or sitting in judgment. It makes her sick knowing what its like to feel powerless in her youth (because of how her family treated her for her magical ability). Josephine is the one who reminds her how that power can be used however she'll wield it. Mira is largely considered merciful and even more widely considered fair.
Does your Inquisitor have any skills or talents others wouldn't expect? I like to think she's a bit on the musical side. She never would've had any interest in becoming a bard, but she can play around on certain instruments and has a nice singing voice.
What would be your character's ideal happy ending/HEA? Peace. That's it. A quiet, peaceful life full of love.
Thank you for the ask!
ɪɴғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ [Genshin]
(Oh, and I've never played Genshi Impact before, i don't know anything so don't get mad at me. But I'm trying so. *edited* so i ve played some and wow)
(i get these ideas from playlists I listen to; I was inspired by them so yuh, there will be music)
__________
(mostly all the villains I could find)
Some background on you:
I wouldn't say you are lovesick but you're just a really big flirt. And ever since you met Scaramouche you flirt beyond how much you usually do...and every chance you get when you meet people along the way.
Your appearance, everything is white. Except u can pick your skin color if u want. You're like a spirit but not exactly. You're there but no one can see you. You're also a vampire. A God. Like Lord Kusanali. Perses' name means "the Destroyer" or "the Ravager" from the Greek words persô and perthô. So I'm just gonna call you The Ravenger or one of those. That's what Lord Kusanali calls you. Just like she calls Scaramouche ¨The Balladeer.¨ You're the same height as him. 5,4 or 5,5. You really wear different things, it depends. Your hair gets long, that also depends.  You can take the form of anything (shapeshift).
Tumblr media
During Chapter III, where Scaramouche serves as the boss battle in the form of Shouki no Kami, an artificial god. After his defeat, he fell into a comatose state and was hidden away by Lesser Lord Kusanali. {Irminsul is a silver-white tree whose roots stretch down into the Abyss.} The Sumeru. Which is where Lesser Lord Kusanali sent Scaramouche. (i think...TELL ME IF I'M WRONG) Which was a bad idea. I guess she forgot that She sent M/n there. I know you're asking ¨How did she manage to send him to the Abyss or the Sumeru?¨Well that's a story between you two and let's just say..it felt like you meant nothing to her but that wasn't the case.
You're being awakened after [Meanwhile while you were in a slumber she changed the way everyone saw things. There are 11 Harbingers. But there used to be 12. M/n was one of them.]
M/n. the man of all. Even the others dare not cross that line with you. Well...unless they forgot about you..or can't see you..or feel your presence...yet
Unknown God. you're friends with her. You've both worked alongside each other for a long time.
Enjou. ???(well u know him right? But in this story is gonna be different)
Decarabian. On your side. Your story with him is still unknown lol
The Old Lawrence. Although you don't like how he enslaved his people and used them for battle, you guys come to understanding.
Gold. She adores you. Not exactly wanting to be like you but the type to follow you everywhere. She knows some of your power like she can sense whenever you are back or there. Well, the others can too..in their own way.
Albedo's Impostor (Primordial Albedo). You bumped into him while visiting the City Of Freedom. He's loyal to you. And will protect you at any cost even if you tell him you don't need help. You're story with him; is unknown for now.
Childe. He admires you. Sometimes he flirts with you to get his way but ends up losing because you're always the better one at it. He follows you; kinda like a guard to you.
Signora. She likes you but won't admit it. She fell in love with a knight but he ended up dying while she was away, she found out when she came back. She was mad, sad, and grieving. She used her life's flame to kill monsters and demons, scarring her own body in the process. That's when she met him. M/n. He cared for her and did everything he could. So she fell in love again. Time went by...you were missing(not exactly) but gone. You did say you were leaving but were gonna come back. She waited and waited..soon finding out by Childe that you had been sealed away by Kusanali...(in the Sumeru) so she searched and searched for you. Later being recruited by a Harbinger, and she suppressed her power with a Cryo Delusion. From then on, Signora became a loyal subject to the Tsaritsa.
:Serenity: To be fair, her reason for doing so was completely legitimate.
Even the reasons might have been misguided, I'd say.
Morgan was right that being taken advantage of was Baobhan Sith's Achilles' heel, but only considered the scenario in which evil fairies took advantage of her kindness. The coup de grace, however, came from a human taking advantage of Baobhan Sith's cruelty and selfishness.
Yeah, it's understandable given Morgan's past, and I'd dare say that PHH Morgan's memories didn't help (Mordred's mother is never the best role model). But still, not good parenting.
User avatar level 5 Shin-Bufuman · 1 day ago JUSTICE AND SWIMSUITS FOR LIP Let's be fair, we mostly know it was a bad call due to hindsight. Morgan thought Beryl was no threat to her or hers. That's kind of Beryl's whole THING, seeming polite and affable and subservient, and while some do recognize him as a monster, he's the monster that's on YOUR side. And then when you let your guard down...
User avatar level 6 Misticsan · 23 hr. ago I'd argue that Morgan had that insight. As we saw in Beryl's flashback, Morgan accurately pointed out that he doesn't really care about survival, and he confessed that he lives to mess with people. Morgan even asked him about Tristan (so the idea that he could be a bad influence wasn't unconceivable to her), and the only guarantee she got from Beryl was his claim that she was "neither pitiful, nor interesting".
If a parent trusts their kid to such a guy after hearing all that (bonus points for ending his speech with comments about how he loves ruining people's futures, harming legs and arms, and putting pitiful people out of their misery), they can't use the "I couldn't see it coming" card to excuse themselves.
User avatar level 8 Shadostevey · 20 hr. ago I think what went down was, she knew from her Faerie Eyes that he lives to make people suffer but had no desire to torture/harm Sith, so she thought it was fine. She didn't anticipate him harming Sith out of sheer apathy for her suffering.
The given reason she brings him back after resetting the Lostbelt is A. so the Crypters/Foreign God won't see anything amiss like they would if he just disappeared and B. gratitude for him, however inadvertently, enabling her reign.
It's kind of amazing how Morgan gets slammed for being this ruthless tyrant and yet her downfall can be traced to her not being ruthless enough.
I'd highlight this reason as particularly important since, as she herself pointed out in the aforementioned flashback, Olympus was her main priority. It was ultimately Beryl's and Morgan's sabotage which stopped the Atlantic Lostbelt, not anyone else. Not even Chaldea.
It's kind of amazing how Morgan gets slammed for being this ruthless tyrant and yet her downfall can be traced to her not being ruthless enough.
I'd include among that the leeway she gave to the clan heads, which ultimately led to her downfall. It's not even a case of "fairies being assholes" (heck, Spriggan was human); any history buff and/or Crusader Kings player knows that scheming feudal lords are a ruler's worst nightmare. I suppose it can be blamed on PHH Morgan never knowing any other political system.
enough.
It's basically the entire reason for her downfall.
She decides not to trust..., but still trusts others like Woodwose or the Tam Lin. Look at how that ended up, all four betrayed her in some capacity. Yes, even Sith. However roundabout, she's a big reason for Woodwose's betrayal, which itself should constitute betrayal.
And that's really just scratching the surface.
User avatar level 10 NotSpecialDude · 5 hr. ago I think part of the problem is that she didn't really know HOW to run the Kingdom. It's not like she had much experience. Her time as Asec had her do everything herself, with only a few allies to aid her. She only had PHH Morgan's Memories as a guide to rule and ruling a country was something she never did.
Her trust in the clan heads was probably necessary to her because it allowed her to let them handle the logistics of running the country. Woodrose was in charge of the Fang clan who were the effective military a majority of the time. The isle had an economic system that needed maintaining and several heads kept it running. The only thing Morgan's Camelot did was keep Cerunos' in check (Which the fairies didn't know) and house Morgan's personal Army. Fairies only lived in Camelot because they felt that the calamities would never touch them there.
Spriggan's betrayal is key as he was human. He straight out said that Morgan wasn't fit to rule. And unlike the whimsical fairies, he was pragmatic in his thinking.
Happy Engagement
Relationship: Loki x Reader Warnings: contains some dark elements: manipulation Summary: Loki has always thought of you as his and there isn’t anything he won’t do to keep it that way. A/N: I’ve been sitting on this one shot for a while! I had the idea for it months ago and finally wrote it and then it just sat on my computer while I wrote other stuff but I figured since I don’t have anything really new this week it’d be perfect to put out! I hope you enjoy it because I greatly do :)
Masterlist
Loki had always been an interesting force in your life.
You two met when you were just children in school. You two were the official unofficial outsides of your school year — he was a prince, you were a peasant. Despite his royal standing, he’d play with you at recess. For these outlier ways, you two never interacted much with the other kids, life practically forcing you two to one another.
At such a young age, you hadn’t realized how significant this bond would become. As a child, you were just glad someone was talking to you. He shouldn’t have even been looking at you, should’ve maybe been disgusted with your presence alone. You should’ve been some onlooker, amazed by him and his magic but you weren’t — well, except for the magic part. His magic was little when you were kids but it drew quite the amazement from you.
Over time, you two naturally grew with one another. From childhood into your teens and still, now, you two made an unlikely pair of best friends as young adults. All of this though did not come without some bumps along the way.
In your teens, Loki had almost completely shut you out. For some reason, he seemed to be acting embarrassed by you. Your mother had warned you this may happen but you thought he was different, swore he was, unless his sincerity was like the many other tricks he played. Eventually, supposedly after some talking down from his brother, Loki appeared back at your door asking if you wanted to go for a walk.
This disappearing and coming back had become a habit for him over his teenage years and into adulthood. Loki never explicitly told you why but you could tell there was something eating away at him. It had been there a long time and it felt like disassociating himself with you was his solution.
You thought everything was coming to an abrupt end when you fell pregnant. You had been seeing a nobleman who was a regular customer in your parents’ shop. He was absolutely charming and delightful, practically swept you right off your feet within minutes of meeting. Your parents were ecstatic when he asked to court you.
You yourself were stunned but you ran to tell Loki about it. He was speechless. You tried telling him about the man but something in Loki snapped. He got unreasonably upset, spewing hateful comments about the man, practically forcing you out of his chambers in the process. He went radio silent again.
You tried to ignore losing your best friend — again — and focused on your new relationship. He wooed you endlessly with dates to lavish dinners and dawning you in lovely gowns. It was all so much more than you had ever expected in life. He’d tell you you deserved it and whisper sweet nothings in your ear as you two would get so lost in one another.
A bit shamefully, hypnotized by the romantics of it all, you gave yourself to him. Tangled in the sheets with him as your guide, you let the man you felt you would marry have every last bit of you.
And for a while after, it was blissful. Nothing had seemed to change between you two until he announced he had to go away for a bit. Confused, you asked why suddenly now facing the fact you were losing another person in your life. He explained he was needed by his father on a different realm, part of the family "business," as he described it.
Days after his departure, you learned you were pregnant. Around this time, Loki popped back up in your life. You felt relieved having someone to confide in but when you told him of your pregnancy, he was far from the supportive force you thought you’d get. He didn’t yell or get upset per se but he was beyond stunned.
He left for a bit then but can back in less time than last. This time he brought along baby supplies and congratulated you. It was a complete one-eighty from his prior behavior but you accepted it, gratefully. Loki ended up being your main person throughout the pregnancy as clues of when your boyfriend would return were nonexistent.
"Did he know you were carrying his child when he left?" Loki had asked you one night. You two were sitting in the living room of the makeshift house you had acquired. You didn’t feel very good that this was the home you were bringing a child into when you knew her father could’ve provided her with a better one. But, at the end of the day, it was a roof over both your heads.
You crocheted another knot in the baby blanket. "No, he didn’t. I didn’t even know."
Loki gave a passing hum at that answer. He didn’t ask about your boyfriend very much after that.
Once your baby girl arrived, she became your entire world, your entire focus. Between caring for her and working to provide, you had little time to worry about your boyfriend still being gone. But it wasn’t as lonely as it may have looked because Loki was always by your side. Working around his royal duties, he’d take time to come visit you and your daughter even sometimes staying for dinner or to play with her. You didn’t miss how he was unintentionally becoming the father she was missing. You never said anything, though, always biting your tongue as you waited for her father to return.
Hope began to face on that front after your daughter turned three. Maybe he was just a footnote in your life, a foolish hopeful dream, but at least he had given you the lovely gift of your child. You weren’t giving up, still placing him in the boyfriend spot of your mind, but you couldn’t deny doubt crept in. Maybe a relationship of any capacity just wasn’t in the cards for you.
Or so you thought.
As Loki continued with his royal responsibilities, he was growing older and more powerful. That’s when the rumors of marriage began floating about. Your mother had brought it up to you once asking if you met any of his potential suitors. Your stomach did a somersault. You didn’t even know there were suitors, let alone met any of them. You tried to keep your cool and just told her no.
Who these suitors were and if they really existed, you never found out. You never even had the guts to ask about them especially after Loki pulled you aside one night after a dinner at the palace.
He rarely ever invited you to dinners with his family so to get this spontaneous invitation, you didn’t hesitate to attend. He even allowed you to bring along your daughter. She was playing with some servants’ children when Loki asked you to the garden.
"Feeling like a nighttime stroll?" You asked with a little laugh. Loki just smiled.
"There’s actually something I want to speak to you about."
"Oh," you frowned. "Is everything okay?"
Loki nodded. "Yes, yes, everything is fine." He looked up at the sky, almost lost in thought as you walked. You thought for a split second how lovely he looked. "I’m sure you have heard by now the…talk about my anticipated engagement."
Your heart practically stopped beating at that moment. Your hands instinctively gripped at the skirt of your dress as if you were ready to run away at the drop of a hat. Trying to keep your voice stead, you said, "Yes, I believe my mother mentioned that to me the other day."
He shot you an unreadable side glance. Your hands gripped the fabric tighter. Why were you feeling like this? Was that…jealousy you felt? You didn’t understand where that had come from. This was your best friend. Your prince best friend. He was bound to get married and have a lavish life with his bride. You couldn’t stop that, you couldn’t change it.
"Do you know anything of the women I have been offered?"
Was this another one of his cruel jokes? You wanted to vomit all over the bushes of flowers passing you as you walked. You managed to shake your head in response. "I’m sure they’re all wonderful."
He scoffed. "More like they’re all incredibly boring."
You gasped, "Loki, I’m not sure you should be speaking that way of them."
"It’s doesn’t matter," he shrugged, "because none of them are what I want."
You didn’t know if you actually wanted to know what he was seeking. You looked at him wearily.
You two walked in silence for a moment. Loki was now watching the ground intensely. You couldn’t believe how much his gaze was wandering. It must’ve been for courage because the next words out of his mouth were ones you had never thought you’d ever hear. From anyone.
"I believe you could be what I want," he said. He spoke your name so softly. "I’d like to ask for your hand in marriage."
You stopped walking, your legs suddenly unable to move. Your eyes grew wide as complete shock raced over you. You didn’t know what to do, too scared to speak because you didn’t know what was going to come out. Your first thought was that this was one of his magic tricks. Maybe he wasn’t even here, just a clone of him as he wished to make a fool of you. It wouldn’t be the first time but he had never been so cruel.
"You’re not saying anything," Loki noted. He had stopped a few feet ahead of you, completely taken off guard by your halt.
"I-I don’t understand." The words felt so heavy forcing their way out of your mouth.
"I don’t believe I stuttered, dear."
Your jaw dropped, surprised it hadn’t hit the floor already. He was seriously asking this. Loki, a literal prince, and your best friend, was asking for your hand in marriage. But — But you just didn’t know why. Why would he ask such a thing? Not only were you an unwed mother, he knew very well about your boyfriend. It was almost insulting he’d think you’d give up just because business or whatever it was was taking a while. You didn’t even want to begin to think about what this could all mean for your daughter.
"Loki… I… I don’t know. This seems crazy—,"
"Crazy?" His expression turned dark. You suddenly regretted the word despite it holding true. "What is so crazy about me wanting to take your hand? I thought this could be good. You and your daughter would have everything you’d ever want. You’d be a princess for crying out loud!"
You flinched at his anger. You had never seen him so enraged before. It made your whole body stiffen.
"I see. This… This is very generous of you but my boyfriend…"
Loki chuckled but there wasn’t any humor found within it. "Of course. The nobleman." He rolled his eyes. "Tell me again, dear, how long has it been? Do you really think he’s going to just show back up one day?"
"Of course," you nodded. "He told me—,"
"He’s not coming back."
You began shaking your head, growing more and more upset as the seconds passed. "You don’t know that."
Loki sighed, defeatedly. "I do know that, dear." A heavy pause. "I know that because I’m the one that sent him away."
You were certain in that moment your heart had stopped. Everything had stopped. You could barely tell anymore how you got from point A to point B.
"Wh-What do you mean?"
"What I mean is I’ve had my eye on you for a long time," he explained. He was standing so tall making you feel minuscule. "I always thought you could be just right for me but then that nobleman waltzed into your life. Granted, he wasn’t me. He couldn’t give you what I could but he tried his best." Loki shrugged. "I had no choice, really. He threatened everything. He derailed my plan but it’s alright. I think after tonight it’ll be back on track, correct?"
You held your hands up in defense, practically begging Loki to slow down. Your head was spinning. "You sent away the father of my child?"
Loki sighed, sounding actually regretful. "Truly, that wasn’t ever my intention. I didn’t know he was going to do that."
"And you think since you forced him out of the picture, you can swoop in and ask for my hand in marriage? We never had a courtship! Are you even hearing yourself?"
"I’m a prince, darling." He sounded so casual. "We do not court like the rest of you."
Gosh, you felt like you were going to vomit. Your hands fell to your stomach as you tried to calm yourself. You had never heard Loki separate you two so clearly before. Like he had drawn a line, definitively.
Your words tasted like venom as you forced yourself to speak. "Can I at least think about it?"
"I’m afraid not. They’d like an answer tonight."
Tonight. That was what this dinner had been for. You weren’t invited just out of the kindness of his heart. You had been attending your own engagement party.
"Loki, this… I— This is insane. You’re— You’re insane—,"
"Am I, really?" He pressed, taking a few steps closer. You trembled under a darkened gaze you had never seen before on him. "I’m not sure that’s how you should be speaking to the man trying to offer you a bit of… stability."
"Stability?" You repeated. "You think that’s all that I want?"
"Would this not grant your daughter a better life? The little shop of yours is only getting you two so far, dear."
The shock had worn off as you were now being filled with rage. "Don’t you dare bring my daughter into this anymore," you gritted. "Of course, I want nothing but the best for her but I also deserve someone who will truly love me. You’re — You’re just asking to fulfill some royal commitment and trying to pass it off like this is some big, grand gesture to help me."
Loki looked a bit taken back by your words. Even you were a bit surprised by yourself. You didn’t know where this fight was coming from within you. Probably from the depths of motherhood, if you had to guess. But it felt good in a way.
After a heavy moment, Loki asked, "Was I so wrong to assume this proposal could actually help us both?"
That was the real kicker of it all, you thought. This actually could help you both.
"I want to marry someone who loves me."
Loki seemed to debate around the idea mentally. "I’m certain that within time something could bloom. I’m not a psychopath, darling." He smirked. "But I truly can’t believe you’d give this up all for the minuscule chance at love, the hopeless thing that got you where you are today."
You gasped. "I would’ve had true love if you hadn’t banished him away!"
Loki let out a humorless laugh. "You are so adorable, you know that?" You flinched as he got close enough now to place a hand on your damp cheek. You were practically forced to look in his eyes as he spoke. "That man was nothing but a spoiled brat and I refuse to believe you actually fell for his game."
You felt yourself crumbling down again. Way beneath him. "He… He was really…"
"Don’t you dare try to defend him, do you hear me?" Loki spat. That darkness was washing over but this time it felt like a storm you couldn’t escape. "I will not have my bride speak such niceties about another man."
"Your bride—,"
"While I’ve enjoyed this little midnight confessional, we have some good news to share with everyone, don’t we?"
You didn’t know what to do. What to think anymore. He wasn’t letting up. You were trapped. It was like the prison gate had shut behind you. You were stone-cold now, completely under his control. You were giving up in complete defeat. You could scream until you were blue in the face but you were running in circles. At least your daughter would know a home.
"Yes."
Loki’s face lit up. He removed his hands from you. "Fantastic," he said, heading back towards the palace. You helplessly followed beside him. He wrapped an arm around your waist and said, "Happy engagement, dear."
Hostage Situation
When Y/N L/N is kidnapped by Peter Pan to serve as a hostage and coerce her kingdom into leaving Neverland alone, she can only laugh. The mutual hatred between her and Pan, however, may lose its fire after a while.
Tumblr media
Your feet tread methodically around the grounds. You loop around the castle, walking past scraggly bushes and dying trees, eyes occasionally flickering to the large mountains in the distance. Your mother and father keep an impressive castle, but their focus rarely extends to the upkeep of the grounds themselves. Kings and Queens don’t exactly bother themselves with gardening- that will fall to the servants or, when you’ve managed to bore yourself enough, you.
Technically, you should be back in the castle. You are a princess, after all, and princesses rarely roam about the grounds in dirty, faded boots that have walked more miles than the most experienced of messengers. This being said, you’re not sure anyone will spare you enough thought to care. You may be a princess, but only in blood and title. Anything else must be fought for, and you’ve given up such pastimes long ago.
You suppose you’re still musing over this, which is why you don’t see the shadow swooping down over you until it’s too late. By the time you feel the uncanny stillness, or notice that an unusual darkness has swarmed around you, the shadow’s eerily human arms have wrapped around you, and your feet are already lifting from the ground. You struggle, but it is in vain, and soon you’re watching trees and rivers pass miles below you. You lock eyes with the shadow being, but its glowing white gaze betrays nothing but an emotionless urge to complete orders. Wherever you’re going, someone is waiting for you, someone who is controlling this shadow.
This realization troubles you more than you like. You don’t much like the idea of being taken somewhere, and you’re not about to just sit around and let it happen. You wait until the shadow swoops low over a rolling set of hills, and begin to fight back with renewed vigor. Although your blows tend to sink through the only somewhat corporeal shadow, you manage to stun it enough that it drops you. You fall through the air, catching yourself in the boughs of trees and scrambling down.
Your feet pound on the dirt as you sprint away from the shadow, but even this effort is useless. It appears out of nowhere in front of you, and as you skid to a stop it raises its hands and a wave of shadow rushes from it. The darkness pools around you like ink, rising to swallow you whole. You can only see one last thing before the darkness engulfs you completely: the white beacons of light that are the shadow’s eyes. Then there is nothing to see at all, and you can feel yourself falling to the ground.
When you wake up again, you find yourself lying down. You’ve been propped up against a tree, and when you open your eyes, you realize you’re in the middle of a forest. It’s a different forest than the one you were just in, and at a different time of day. The shadow must have continued the journey while you were still unconscious. You shiver slightly at the thought- wherever you are, it won’t be good. You move to sit up, but a wave of dizziness yawns open in your stomach and you lean back once more. You go to steady yourself, but your hands don’t move- they’ve been tied together with rough rope.
You had done your best to stay silent, but it’s not like you’re alone. Across the clearing, about a dozen or more boys dressed in robes of faded brown dance around a campfire. An almost maniacal glee spreads across each of their faces as they whirl and jump around, dancing to the haunting sound of a flute. The music stops after a second, but the boys continue dancing. You shiver slightly, then straighten up as a new boy approaches you. This one is dressed not in the russet tones of the others, but instead a dark, forest green. He must be their leader.
He crouches down in front of you, eyes gleaming with triumph. “Welcome, princess.” You raise an eyebrow at his tone. “An interesting welcome, sure. Nothing says fun like ropes and a kidnapping.” The boy just chuckles. “It wasn’t like you made it easy for us.” You shrug, eyes wandering away from the boy to skim the trees surrounding you. An idea is starting to click into place in your head. There’s a story you heard once, from a traveling merchant. There was an island deep in the ocean, full of boys who never seemed to grow old. They were led by one in particular, one boy who could make grown men shiver in their boots.
Your attention snaps back to the boy. Now you really look at him, at his knife-sharp grin and the cool confidence he wears like a glove. His smirk widens as if he can read your mind. “Do you know where you are, love?” You sigh, leaning your head back against the tree in exasperation. “Let me guess, I’m on Neverland.” The boy spread his hands as if in pride, and you resist the urge to groan.
If this is Neverland, then the boy in front of you must be Peter Pan. And you have heard enough about Peter Pan to know that any hour spent with this devil of a boy will be absolute hell.
Pan notices the realization sink into the girl’s eyes. She must have heard of him, he assumes, or she wouldn’t be looking at him like that. However, unlike the other visitors, there isn’t a shred of fear in her gaze. No, she just looks like she’s been dealt an unfortunate round of cards, rather annoyed instead of outright afraid. Pan’s not sure how he feels about that.
Y/N considers the rope tying her wrists. “Well, Peter, are you going to untie me or just let me stew here for a while?” Pan frowns. “It’s Pan. And no, you may be a princess but that doesn’t mean we’re all going to bow to you whenever you ask. There’s only one monarch in Neverland, and I’m afraid that title belongs to me. You’ll have to sit tight until they find out you’re missing.” Y/N scoffs, and then her eyes grow alight with suppressed laughter. “Wait- I think I know why I’m here. You’re trying to use me as a hostage.”
Y/N laughs even harder now, and Pan frowns. “I’m not sure why that’s funny. Your kingdom has been infringing upon my waters for a long time now. I intend to stop them.” Y/N shakes her head, doing her best to bite back a grin. “No, I get it. Great motive, but I’m afraid you chose the wrong hostage.” She fixes him with a cool look, finally keeping her laughter in check. “I’ve been kidnapped a couple of times before. Trust me, they won’t come for me. Not the guards, not my parents. I’m not useful to them.”
Pan frowns, curious despite himself. “What do you mean, you’re not useful to them?” Y/N shrugs. “The reason my parents became the King and Queen is because they were able to channel the power of my ancestors. Every monarch in my kingdom uses some magical artifact to gain increased strength, life, wisdom, you name it. The only problem is that it doesn’t work with me, so I’ve ceased to be a worry to them. I can’t use magic at all- not for them, not for you. You can hold me on this island for as long as you want, but it won’t work. They’re not coming after me.”
The words are light, spoken with the last traces of a laugh, but Pan still feels his stomach clench with some unnameable emotion. Maybe Y/N is meant to be a Lost Girl, maybe she’s more lost than any of them. This though alone fills him with loathing. If she’s a Lost Girl, then she’s supposed to stay on the island, even beyond her sentence as a hostage. Pan, however, is fairly sure that he doesn’t want to see this girl longer than a second. She had better be wrong about her parents, because Pan is certain that he’s going to end up killing her before the guards arrive on the shores of Neverland to rescue her.
You wake early, just before dawn begins to stain the tops of the trees with the light of morning. You stand up, stretching, and glance around the clearing. The Lost Boys appear to have gone to sleep, Pan included. They’ve left you alone for now, but you have no doubt that they’re still watching. Besides, it’s not like it would matter anyway- there’s nowhere for you to go. You’re on an island, after all, and there’s no way you could swim far enough to reach another nation’s shores.
Careful not to make a sound, you meander over to the campfire. Your hopes are proven correct when you spy a knife lying abandoned in the dirt. You pick it up, beginning to saw away at your ropes as you walk out of the clearing. You toss the cut ropes behind you, tucking the knife into your boot just in case. On an island like this, you never know when you might need a weapon.
You end up walking for about ten minutes before you get the feeling that you’re being watched. You roll your eyes. “I know you’re there, you can come out now.” One second you’re alone, and the next you’re being shoved up against a tree, an arm against your throat to stop you from moving. “You know, I’m fairly sure escaping prisoners aren’t supposed to call out to their jailers.” You scoff, pushing Pan’s arm away from you. “I appreciate the concern, Peter, but I’m not trying to escape. I’m just having a good time exploring the forest.”
You can see Pan’s eyes darken when you use his first name, but he ignores the jibe. “Who said I care about your wellbeing? I’m just making sure that you aren’t getting any ideas about an escape.” You give him a look, continuing on along the trails of the forest. “Anyone stuck on an island with you would think about escape.” He just chuckles, walking alongside you. “Tell that to my Lost Boys. They’ve chosen to leave the world behind to live on Neverland.” You smirk at him. “And what a sorry, sorry choice they’ve made.” He glares at you, but you just grin.
If you’re going to have to stay on this accursed island, you at least intend to enjoy yourself.
Y/N wakes up every morning to walk the island. Pan’s not sure why she bothers- there’s nowhere for her to go. Yet every dawn she wakes like clockwork, opening her eyes and beginning her wanderings. Pan has wondered if she’s awoken by nightmares, and that’s why she gets up so early, but if she’s plagued by night terrors Y/N is very good at hiding it. She doesn’t seem concerned at all, just keen to see the forest. Pan’s long since given up on the binding ropes- she just finds some way to remove them.
Pan’s watching his Lost Boys practice fighting when he senses another pair of eyes watching the sparring boys. He glances up to see Y/N, half hidden among the trees. Her gaze is glued to the boys, and he can almost picture her dissecting every move. There was an opening, when John stumbled, there was an opportunity, when Devin swung too low. Pan’s never heard of a princess that could fight, but if there ever was one, he’s sure that it would be her. Y/N lacks many of the key characteristics of a princess- charm being one of them. He wouldn’t be surprised if she could hold her own in a fight.
After the match ends with a triumphant Devin raising his fists to the sky, Pan steps forward. Instantly, the eyes of the Lost Boys all flash to him, including Y/N’s. He doesn’t speak that often, usually allowing Felix to lead classes. When he does have something to say, the Lost Boys tend to listen. Pan gestures for Y/N to step out of the grove of trees. “Well, princess, care to join the ring? Or are you all talk as we thought?”
She laughs, but Pan can see the glint of a challenge rising in her eyes. Y/N steps forward, and Pan points out a Lost Boy to act as her opponent. “Nick, I’d usually tell you to not rough her up too bad, but to be honest, I think we all want to see her get punched.” Y/N smirks. “If that’s true, why don’t you come down here and fight me yourself?” It’s a challenge, certainly, but Pan speaks before it can gain traction with the Lost Boys. “I’d never dirty my hands fighting someone like you.” Y/N, wisely, says no more, and shifts into a fighting stance opposite Nick.
To be honest, Pan does have to feel bad for the guy. No matter what he tries, Y/N throws him away like he’s nothing. She blocks his attacks, she punches and kicks and basically tears the guy to shreds. It would be humiliating were it not for the fact that Y/N is so obviously better than anyone on this island except for Pan and maybe Felix. Y/N flashes Pan a grin, extending a hand lightly coated in blood that does not belong to her. “Want to send another Lost Boy into the ring, or have you accepted the fact that I’m not going down easily?” Pan returns her smile. “I think I’m good.” And maybe, he just might be okay with all of this.
You’re relaxing by the campfire in the morning when you first hear the sounds of running footsteps. After that fight with Nick (although fight isn’t exactly the right word for it, maybe instead you could call it a bloodbath), the other Lost Boys accepted you immediately. Even Peter seems to approve of you now, and you catch him smiling softly at you across a clearing when he thinks you can’t see. You’re not sure why you notice, or why you keep thinking about it, but you’re fairly sure he shouldn’t linger behind your eyes as long as he does.
You look up at the swiftly approaching pair of Lost Boys, expecting to see them collapse in laughter, but the boys instead look worried, faces drawn with anxiety. You stand up, suddenly tense. What could make these boys look so nervous? They run over to Peter, practically tripping over themselves in an attempt to make it to their leader. Even from here, you can hear their words. “Guards- a ship full- the king and queen- they’re attacking us.”
You can see Peter’s face freeze. He speaks to them quickly. “They were flying the flags of Y/N’s kingdom? You’re sure of it?” They nod. “They’re pouring down the beaches now. They’ll be here any second.” Peter curses under his breath, calling to the rest of the boys to grab weapons and defend the camp. You race over to him. “I can fight. Give me a weapon.” Peter stares at you. “You’d fight against your parents?” You nod. “They’re not here for me, they’re here for the magic on the island. Trust me, they wouldn’t come all this way if they didn’t think they could get something out of it.”
Peter’s brow furrows as he realizes what you’re saying. “You think that’s why they’re here?” You nod. “There’s no other reason. I’ve been kidnapped before, they never came. They’re not here for me.” You repeat, and Peter’s jaw clenches. “Get a sword, you can fight with the others.” He starts to move away, then steps back to you. “And Y/N? Stay safe.” You nod, returning the assurance of safety. Then the two of you run your separate ways, each desperate to save the island that’s somehow become your home in a matter of weeks.
You pull on a hooded cloak so the guards can’t recognize you. You can’t take the chance that they’d try to bring you back to the ship, not when you’re supposed to be fighting for Neverland. Your sword moves in a never-stopping arc, cutting through armor and slicing the soldiers like the warriors of old. At last, you pause for a second, noting that the situation on the beach has cleared. Yet you don’t see your parents, even though the Lost Boys said they were here. A chill rises in your throat as you realize what must be happening, and you turn and race back to the camp. Back to Peter.
Sure enough, your parents have found him. They’re using all of their magic against him, doing their best to take him down. Peter is strong, far stronger than either of them. Yet the two of them and additional guards against one Lost Boy isn’t a fair fight, even if it’s against Peter. Your heart is pounding in your throat. You’re going to have to make a decision, one you promised yourself you’d never have to make.
You fling your arms up, and a wall of magic slams into your parents. They crumple to the ground along with the guards and lie there, unmoving. You can tell that they’re still breathing, albeit slowly. Peter’s gaze flashes from the suddenly unconscious guards to you, who stands there still, breathing heavily. Your arms are still raised from the burst of magic, and you lower them slowly. His gaze seems to burn right through you, and you begin to speak quickly, desperate to say something, anything, to stop the cutting look in his eyes.
“They never saw me, their backs were turned. We can get them onto the ships and away. They’ll think it was you, that you were too powerful for them. They won’t return. They won’t know about me.” Peter steps forward, but your feet feel leaden in your boots. You’re not sure you could move if you tried. His voice is quiet. “You do have magic.” You nod hesitantly. “I didn’t want them to know. I knew if they found out they would use me as a weapon, and I didn’t want to live as their blade.”
Understanding begins to dawn in Peter’s eyes. “You didn’t need the artifacts because you already had power of your own. You were smart to hide it from them.” His brow furrows again, confusion sweeping over him. “Why would you show me? Why would you trust me?” You look away. “You let me into your island, into the Lost Boys, without knowing about my powers for a second. I served no use to you, not even as a hostage. You didn’t want me here because of how I could help you, you wanted me here because of who I was. That’s why.”
Peter’s quiet for a second, and you begin to think that you’ve said too much. “They’ll probably find out after a while. I can board another ship, make my way back to the Enchanted Forest. They won’t bother you if I leave.” Peter says nothing, and you almost fear that he won’t say anything at all. That he’ll let you leave without another word, too wounded over this lie. Then his hand is on your cheek, guiding your eyes back to him, and he kisses you.
He kisses you for a second, then breaks away. His face is inches from yours, his breath hot on your cheeks. “I’m not letting them take you. Not now, not ever. I don’t want you to leave, Y/N. You’ve been a Lost Girl since the day you arrived and I can’t let you go because you want to protect us.” A small smile quirks at the corners of your lips. “What happened to there only being one monarch on the island?” Peter laughs quietly. “I’ll make an exception for you.”
Sticks and Stones May Break My Bones
Angst! My Beloved!
Not a lot of whump here, but I put Wild through the wringer!!! Lots of BotW2 ideas and concepts here, but nothing really cannon.
Also, disclaimer: I think Flora is a wonderful person, a bit harsh and sometimes unkind, but I feel for her a lot. The prompt submitted to me however asked for her as an ass, so that's what's here, for angst reasons. THIS IS NOT HOW I PLAN ON WRITING HER NORMALLY!!!
When Wild left the Chain behind in the woods, it was with a soft smile and a hesitant wave of his right hand. It was with a gentle ‘See y’all later’ that made Warriors shake his head with a sigh while Twilight offered a wobbly grin.
He would join them again, he knew that. After all, Hylia wouldn’t have chosen him to go with them in the first place if he was only supposed to leave before they’d even really started to know what it was that they were meant to be doing.
He’d see them again, and he’d fall back into a routine with all of them, sparring with Warriors and teaching Hyrule to cook and shield surfing with Wind and learning to carve from Sky. He’d go back to sewing with Legend, to exploring with Hyrule, to learning the Ocarina with Time and teasing Twilight about his terrible singing. He could work with Four on the Sheikah Slate and experimenting with different plants he’d gathered. He would see them again, and he’d go back to being busy and smiling nearly every day.
For the time being however, he had to square his shoulders and harden his jaw as he stepped through the swirl of black that had repulsed all the others every time they tried to enter. He had to tame his mind and wild spirit and come to stand before the Princess of Hyrule in all of her stern glory and receive the scolding he was due for wandering off without permission.
He never had time to question what she meant by being gone for ‘two whole weeks’ before she was marching off towards the labs and explaining that there was a new task for them to complete.
Such a task was one that left in his mind no time for thoughts of his brothers save on the lonely nights in the sky when the islands above the clouds were silent save for the birds about him that reminded him of Sky, or when he ran across the forests and was reminded of the wolf that once ran at his side. And, alright, the tiny people in the grass and the fountains reminded him of Four and Hyrule. When the wind sang strong in his ears as he dove towards the earth from the highest places in the sky, he couldn’t help but envision a small hero whose laughter danced like the sea and who’s fingers mastered the currents of wind and sea both.
It was a lonely quest, just like his last before it, but somehow it was more painfully so, now that he knew what it was to have brothers at his side to catch a monster’s blade when he was too slow or to help him patch himself up afterwards. It was quiet when the Princess and he sat around the fires as night, she studying him as he sat still and stonelike as she worked.
The hand that had waved goodbye to his brothers now flickered green and ethereal in the night shades, iron bands clinging to the wisping appendage and acting as a bond to hold its form together. It was nothing like what he’d known or studied in the Sheikah technology, or even what he’d seen from the many worlds he’d traveled with the other, and it earned many a stare and twist of the lips from those he met and traded with during his journey.
The arm was only the first of many changes, it’s power seeping through his body and altering him before he even knew what was happening. He’d hated it at first, disliking how it changed him, made his eyes glow and his hair touch with the same ethereal shades, red bleeding through at the roots and earning him even more wary looks.
Ganon, in all his terrifying power, had been a surprising comfort during the quest, an aid to discovering his new abilities and training them to bend to his own will. The Princess had been wary of their relationship, but had accepted it when she saw what he learned to do, and every evening she would require a report of his newfound skills, as well as the occasional demonstration or examination.
It all came to an end both too soon and not soon enough.
Ganon was gone, as if he’d never been there at all, and the Princess was as cold as ever even after their second adventure at each other's sides. And now there was no use for the abilities that had fused to his soul like the arm had to his flesh. He’d asked Purah if there was something that could be done to restore his body to its normal Hylian state, without the glowing limb that earned his only stares and insults from the village people, but the Princess had overheard it and declared that such a thing should not even be attempted.
“You don’t understand, Link. Don’t be foolish! We have here a scientific marvel ready for our investigation and exploration and you want to get rid of it just because it looks odd?”
He’s shuffled his feet slowly, resisting the impulse to rub at his chest where the Hylian part of him ended and the eldritch horror began. “I can’t live like  Hylian anymore.”
“Because you aren’t one!” Her Highness rolled her eyes. “Honestly, Sir Knight, after everything I certainly doubt that Hylian even applies to you anymore! Hylians do not possess the qualities that you now do, and they most certainly do not travel through stone or time or any other such thing at will. Think would you! You’re something else entirely, and I intend to find out what that is!”
Purah had frowned at that, eyes full of sorrow as they met his own with an apologetic sigh. But there was nothing the de-aged scientist could really say against the royal Sovreign of Hyrule, not as a Sheikah sworn to the service of the royal family. The woman/girl had offered him a sympathetic pat on the head later after climbing up to reach high enough to do so, as well as a few dumplings that Paya had sent on her grandmother’s behalf the day before. It was a welcome gesture, but amounted to so little on the grand scale of life. Not when so many others he had once called his friends had so blatantly rejected the mere sight of him.
Bolson and the other carpenters shied away from him with harsh whispers as they spat insults across the distance.
‘Half-blood’.
‘Gerudo Bastard’.
‘Freak’.
‘Demon’.
There were favorite insults spread from stable to stable and up and coming village to up and coming town and slowly all of Hyrule knew of the monster that had once been the hero. Gossip abounded, and he couldn’t even turn to shield his face with his hood without drawing attention to his arm.
It was only the koroks that welcomed him, themselves all too accustomed to the strange and ethereal. Them and the blupees.
Maybe it was the knowledge of how it felt to be shot at for his oddness that allowed him to ease into the graces of the flighty animals. And maybe it was his lonely heart crying for comfort, but when nestled in their midst, it almost reminded him of how it felt to be hugged by the salty veteran, on the rare occasional that the pink-haired hero had let down his guard.
The fairy’s tangled themselves in his hair and the blupees gathered at his feet, koroks dancing around him and flying to his side as if he was some sort of forest god, but the strange rise of his spirits in their presence shattered the instant a traveler caught sight of him.
Arrows and fire, once his favorite of weapons, were turned against him as words in every language of the New Hyrule had burst from the mouths of its people, and like his namesake, he ran before them, darting through the forest and fading in amidst the trees, hiding, incorporeal and translucent within the halls of the forest as those he’d once seen as allies pushed him away.
He’d begged the new Queen for aid, for relief or even just a word to the people that he wasn’t the evil they had come to think he was, but she only waved him aside with a purse of her lips. “You are not meant to be here without first asking.” The Child of Hylia declared, eyes as cold as the Shrine’s waters themself. “And why should I make a declaration on behalf of a man who refuses to even speak to me properly? You come groveling like a worm, yet for years it was I who you ignored. See how it feels, Sir Hero, to be the one left helpless at the hands of the country. Know what it is to be scorned by those who you thought would love you.”
He’d barely made it out of the window before the trainee guards of the newly repaired Hyrule Castle had caught him and Queen Zelda Diana Hyrule had stared after him with eyes colder than Hebra’s tallest peaks.
It was the Father Tree -the Deku Tree as the Queen had called it, but the koroks laughed at him for using the name, so he’d adjusted in kind- who suggested that he hide the changes, and he’d begun to wander Hyrule as much as possible to find the materials he would have needed.
The Queen still required his presence regularly so she could inspect him; her love of science no ways tainted as to stop her from ordering him to appear regularly, as there was now no need or safety in his acting as her guard. The Queen sought her people’s respect, and to employ such a being as himself, not Hylian and not quite mortal, would be to spark fear in the people. Indeed, when he skirted villages, he would wince at word of ‘the queen’s monster’ as gossip was traded. Those who didn’t see him themselves knew him as a beast of feral nature who lived amid the lost woods and destroyed any who came close.
“A specter that glows with the light of the shrines.” They would tell each other over campfires. “It has eyes like a ghost, empty and lost, with no care for humanity or Hylia’s chosen. They say it was once the Hero of this world, but he died ages ago.”
“I heard it’s the body, possessed by a being beyond this realm, a monster escaped from the edges of reality that tried to hide in our midst but corrupted it’s host so that it only scares away others, leaving it roam the earth in a shattered body. If you get too close to it though, it’ll take your instead.”
He’d stayed away from towns after that.
The blupees and koroks had been happy to help him to find what he needed to hide among the Hylians should he wish though, and two in particular guided him; the korok swinging little twigs like they were batons and humming swinging little shanties as it hopped along the path, the blupee snorting softly and nipping at his heels when he wandered too far, unnatural purple eyes staring up at him with something that was fondness and a reprimand all at once, and in their care he’d made his way across the land of Hyrule to find what would be needed to return to his once life.
The fairies and their Great cousins had been welcome help, and in time, he’d been able to walk amid the populace of Hyrule like any other, as long as he kept a long cloak about him and his hair pulled back to hide where the roots would begin showing again in gold and ethereal blue.
Once Hyrule had talked about needing to hide in his world, about the curse that followed him and made the Hylian people afraid. He’d thought it bizarre and ridiculous of the people at the time, but now he understood what it was to live it.
When the portal opened beneath his feet the day that the Queen had reprimanded him for concealing and potentially damaging the strange limb, startling the Skeikah scientists and Queen both, he’d nearly cried tears of relief.
He was going away, somewhere where he wasn’t a science project and where, unless they traveled to his world’s future, no one would know how much he had changed. His copy of the slate had enough hair dye to last him a few months, and he was certain he could make more over time, and as long as he continued wearing the tunics and gloves the fairies had helped him to adjust to hide the glow the others would probably never catch on. Or well, he could extend it anyway.
His brothers greeted him with open arms and teary eyes, and in a strange parallel to his adventure, he found himself thinking of blupees when Legend had curled against him, stiff and cold on the outside, but with fingers that clutched his tunic just a bit too tight to really be reluctant. And Four, Hyrule and Wind’s exuberant hugs and chatter brought to mind tiny forest people and koroks with twigs for batons.
It was good to be home.
It was good to cook for other people again, and they were glad to have him cook for them, even if his fondness for both Gerudo spiced dishes and fae like sweet things had increased exponentially during his newest adventure. It was good to fight at their sides, even if it was strange to once again have to take others into account before he could select a weapon. It was good to sit around a fire and talk with the others too, but that was perhaps the hardest one; it had been ages since he’d had a proper two-way conversation with anything other than a tree or a korok, and neither of those was good at either staying awake or staying focused for very long.
There were some harder things to adjust to though. Fire, for one. Unlike before when he’d have been happy to burn an enemy camp to the ground, now he was wary of using faming weapons or spreading heat further than necessary. The same went for hunting; he couldn’t bring himself to shoot an animal unless it attacked first or they needed the meat it would provide, and even then, he felt a bit bad for doing so. Is this what Twilight had felt like? Is this why the rancher never liked hunting? Because he too knew what it was like to be on the other end of the bow?
But the hardest thing by far to readjust to was his name.
‘Wild’ they had called him again, and after months of ‘the wild one’, ‘wild beast’, ‘monster’ and every other insult, slur or title that had been used on him, it made him flinch ever so slightly at the words. And unlike the other things where his brothers dismissed it as a change caused by his adventure or an increase of maturity, it was something that the others seemed to either not notice or to excuse as situational.
He had adapted though, learned to keep a smile on his face where blankness had once been required in his knightly duties, and the more he wore the mask the easier it was to put on again.
He’d reveled in traveling across time again, in dancing through battles and exploring the world without the Queen reprimanding him in her cold tones to stop wandering off. He’d pushed himself to learn more music in the last adventure, and even if his experience was more with what few instruments Ganon had had time to help him learn, he’d enjoyed sitting down with the others and borrowing one or another instrument to play a tune and sometimes he even got to sing.
He fell to comfortably into his role though, even with the changes, and he hadn’t even noticed when they’d come back to his world. To be fair, it was different in the daytime, and Hyrule had changed so much in the absence of her hero as he hid himself away from the eyes of civilization. Towns and roads had sprung up where there had only been fields before, and the Guardians that had littered the land had all been dug up and hauled to the castle to be either restored or destroyed by the Sheikah, depending on what Queen Zelda decided after she looked at them herself. The world was so different to him, so unlike that which he knew, that he’d failed to keep as alert as he ought to have been when he wandered about an open market with the others, laughing and chattering away with the other younger ones as Time and Legend herded them towards the needed stalls.
It was a traveler that was his downfall, a man who’d seen the Monster Hero and had been among the first to discover the disguise he wore.
No questions were asked when the word spread, and Wild hadn’t caught on to the whispers until a stone had struck his cheek and he was stumbling forwards on the path.
“Wild!” Twilight was at his side in a minute, Time right after him as Legend launched a barrage of insults at the guilty party who’d thrown the thing.
“’m fine.” He was careful to wipe the blood away with his cloak, holding the fabric to the wound to prevent bluish blood seeping down his face and exposing him to his brothers. He wanted to keep them as long as possible and proving himself to be a monster, not even Hylian, would surely have them turning their backs on him.
“Get away from him!” A woman scolded, grabbing ahold of two of the younger heroes while several other shoppers had like ways grabbed Legend and Sky. “Are you dears alright? He didn’t hurt you, did he?”
“Freaking what?” Legend shrieked. “Who’s the injured party here?”
“I’d avoid that thing, son.” A man huffed through a frankly walrus like mustache, eyes hard as they trailed to where Wild stood, cloak still pressed to his cheek as he attempted to wave off a fussing Twilight and Time. “It’s not natural. Sure, it looks like a normal Hylian, but that’s just an effective ruse.”
Another villager nodded. “It’s one of the Calamity’s puppets, a Gerudo-Bastard set on destroying the kingdom!”
“He’s the freaking hero!” Legend shrieked, barely being held back by a steely eyed Sky. “He saved all your freaking asses and all you can do is insult his flipping guts? Who’s the-”
“Enough.” There were few times that Sky’s voice reached levels worse than Twilight’s growls, but the stern command, regal and firm, froze all present as the man stiffened with a cold nod towards the villagers. “I see we are unwelcome here, and with that being the case it would be wise to spend our rupees elsewhere. Legend,” A tug to the boy’s shoulders. “Let’s join the others and be out of their hair. If they cannot be welcoming and kind to our brother than they will not receive our patronage.” And like a swan gathering it’s cygnets, Sky swept down the street, cape fluttering as he ushered the rest of them out of the town and back to the safety of the wilds. The village stared after them with wide eyes, as if they’d just been judged by a breathing god.
The stiffness in Sky’s shoulders faded as they neared the edge of the forest, and instantly the Chosen Hero been tutting over Wild, gently but firmly prying his hand away from his face with a kind smile that almost set Wild at ease. Almost.
“It’s fine, it’s just a scrape.”
“Still.” Sky crooned softly. “I’d rather we clean it up now and make sure it’s nothing worse than let it sit and get infected later.”
And though he’d tried to fight, his single Hylian hand was no match for the firm grip of the Skyloftian, and within minutes his face was exposed to the shocked faces and flickering eyes of his brothers.
“It’s blue...” Wind breathed as Hyrule darted forwards, hands already glowing softly only for them to stutter to a stop over Wild’s skin.
“It’s... Wild, why is your blood- why is-” The healer’s eyes had flickered golden for a moment, wide as they stared up at him. “What happened to you-”
“What the freak!” Legend had startled, blinking in surprise as he stared. “Your eyes are glowing!”
Shit! The healing properties of the arm had already taken affect and it was making everything act up all weird! He shot a glance down at his arm, one hand raising to tangle in the long hair he couldn’t even see at the moment, praying silently beneath his breath that nothing was showing through. It wasn’t, but that didn’t change how Hyrule had come to fixate on his right arm, or how the healer's fingers hovered over it sparking and eyes twinkling as he whispered softly under his breath.
“Wild.” Time had sighed. “I think this one is going to need an explanation.”
All the breath left his lung in instants.
He’d panicked to say the least and Time had eventually shooed the others away to make camp as the eldest hero had sat at his side, waiting silently for him to regulate his breathing. Touch was too much right now, and any attempts from the others to ease him down or help him level out his breathes had only made him panic more. But when at last his blue eyes blinked back to clarity it was to see Time sitting at his side, a gentle tune wafting from the Ocarina at his lips.
“I’m sorry.” He whispered, trying his hardest not to startle Time or otherwise make the situation worse. “I should have said something, I know. I just- missed being Wild and I wanted to come back and be normal and I didn’t want to-”
“It’s alright.” Time’s voice rumbled softly, a single blue eye turning to him with a pained look, even as the man offered him a hint of a smile. “None of us talk about our adventures either.”
“Yes, but you’re people.” He sighed, rubbing the fingers of his glove together. “You’re allowed to choose things.”
There was pain in Time’s voice when their leader answered. “And you’re not?”
“I’m not Hylia anymore.” He whispered. “I don’t count.”
“You count to us.”
“That’s because you don’t know.”
Time shifted, turning to face him fully as the ocarina was set firmly in the grass. “That’s because you’re family and we care. Wild, I don’t care if Demise himself named you the king of the dead, you’re still my kid and Nayru knows I’m not going to let you go without a fight. If that means fighting you, alright, but you’d best better believe that no amount of physical or mental changes will break the bonds we all have with you.”
Something, something damaged and crushed and stitched up and torn open again clenched inside of him, tears pricking at his eyes as he stared up at Time’s royal blue gaze. “W-what?”
“You could be granted godhood, made a monster, I don’t care. You’re ours and you’ll have to deal with that.” Time smiled, warm even with the pain in his eyes as he looked down at him. “So how about you start again, maybe with the facts rather than the insults. Or,” Time softened, brows furrowing lightly. “If you want, we can just sit here and you can choose to talk about this later. We do need to know, so we can help you and keep you safe, but you don’t have to tell us right now. You can take some time to figure out what you want to say if you need.”
And, well, shoot him, but Time’s arms had always been a safe place and there was one thing he’d wanted more than anything since he had come back. Wild threw himself into his grand-mentor's arms with a soft sob, clutching tightly to the other, ignoring the armor and its sharp points and awkward shapes as he tried to hold back all the emotions swirling in his chest.
Time’s arms folding around him broke the floodgates though, and when the man’s hand had stroked through his shortened hair, he’d had to bury his face in Tim’s neck to muffle his sobs.
“There, there,” Time hummed softly, rocking slowly as he held the broken wild hero. “Let it out, little one. I have you, I’ve got you and I’m not letting anyone hurt you.”
What do you think it would be like if Bella decided, as soon as she found out about Victoria in New Moon, to ask Carlisle's old friends the Volturi for help?
Interesting premise anon.
As usual, I feel the need to explain why this wasn't on the table (yes, I know, I know).
Why Didn't Bella Go to the Volturi in New Moon?
Bella spent most of New Moon a depressed blob. Specifically, when she finds out about Victoria via Laurent, she's at her lowest point. Jake has dumped her for seemingly no reason (with the 'it's not you, it's me' speech no less), Edward's still not around, and being Bella still sucks.
When Laurent comes across her, while she half-heartedly follows Hallucination Edward's instructions to keep her alive, she's mostly just there accepting her fate. Get eaten by a rando vampire, typical.
Laurent then gets eaten by giant wolves and Bella gets home. She remembers Laurent talking about Victoria but Bella's so low functioning it's not even really a concern. By the time it is, Bella's in on the wolf secret and she counts on them to protect her, Charlie, and the town of Forks.
Even then Bella doesn't really fully appreciate the danger she's in. She'd like not to get eaten by Victoria, sure, but that would be just Bella's luck, wouldn't it?
Point being, Bella never views Victoria as a huge problem she has to somehow solve. Which means, of course, she doesn't have to brainstorm solutions.
Well, say Bella doesn't find out about the wolves (too low functioning to put Jake's strong hints together) or else that they don't have the deluge of shifting and it's just Sam out there. Say that Bella's aware enough to realize that Victoria could probably kill her at any point and may come after her father or Renee.
I don't know if the Volturi would be the first people that come to mind.
Bella was introduced to the concept of the Volturi once, and very vaguely at that. Edward showed her a painting, said they were Carlisle's old friends, oddly sophisticated vampires who very much still eat people and are patrons of the art and... sort of a royal family who impose this law that humans can't know about vampires. Edward was extremely vague and not very helpful.
Partly because Edward is breaking the law right in that moment and doesn't want Bella to realize that he's sentencing her (and his entire family) to death should he be caught.
So, Bella in New Moon doesn't really understand what this law thing is about, but she does know that she might be breaking it and that they might eat her. That, and Victoria might not be breaking the law herself, eating people is not against the law and that's all Victoria really wants to do here.
Bella has no idea that Victoria has a newborn army in the works yet.
Running to three dudes in a painting is probably not a great idea.
Let's AU Anyway
But alright, Bella spends several weeks thinking about this. She doesn't know about the wolves or else she knows they're vastly outnumbered and in no condition to protect the town from a wrathful vampire. Victoria wants Bella dead and could very well come after Charlie and Renee. She could hold the entire town hostage.
Bella either can sit and die in Forks, the most depressing thing she can think of, or she can try to get help.
She'll probably still die, but at least she'll be in Tuscany, she can die with a glass of wine in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other. And if Bella's eaten by some other vampire then Victoria will probably go away, right?
Bella says, "Tally ho" and purchases herself a plane ticket and winds up in Volterra, picks the most vampire looking building she can think of (happens to be right), says she's an acquaintance of Carlisle Cullen's to the shockingly human secretary.
Aro then has the weirdest interview of his life.
Bella tells him the censored version of how she and the Cullens came into each other's worlds (made very difficult as Bella can't say the name "Edward" out loud). Bella explains that they left her because she's stupid and human and that now the vampire who was trying to kill her last year is back to kill her again and she is literally out of options.
She realizes Aro doesn't have to do anything, probably won't, but she figured if she was going to be eaten by a vampire she'd go with the option of Not Victoria.
If Aro wants to kill Victoria too before she eats Forks that would also be great.
Aro explains that this is a little more complicated. Since Edward let Bella in on the secret it was Edward's job to either kill her or turn her, he was never supposed to run away (what the hell, Carlisle?)
Bella's also right in that this Victoria person isn't technically breaking Volturi law, sadly, and it says a lot about vampires, but murder is very kosher. Especially murder of humans. Ordinarily, Aro would not intervene.
However, Bella seems to have an extraordinary gift, Aro considers himself a very close friend of Carlisle's and any friend of Carlisle's is a friend he can and will help, and this is just the saddest story he's ever heard.
So here's what they'll do: They'll turn Bella, she can stay here in Volterra (a position in the guard is open if she wants it) or if she wishes Aro can call Carlisle so she can join the Cullens (Bella hard passes on that one), Aro will send out someone to take care of this Victoria person and ensure her father and mother's safety, and everything will be alright.
Bella did not realize being turned into a vampire was even on the table. She is down for that and asks if Aro can bite her right that second. Aro just sort of stares.
Bella gets turned that evening.
Caius is beyond pissed that they're cleaning up Carlisle's messes but Aro points out that this is a pretty sweet deal. Bella shows unbelievable potential and what's taking care of one stray vampire?
Well, he sends someone out to find this Victoria and, lo and behold, she was building a newborn army. The newborn army gets massacred almost immediately by Jane, Aro thanks his lucky stars Bella came before Victoria set these people on any city, and eventually Aro probably calls up Carlisle to tell him.
Bella doesn't really want to see him (or Edward, definitely not Edward), but Aro went ahead and turned her and now she's in Volterra. You're welcome, Carlisle.
Carlisle decides it's better not to tell Edward.
Of course, this goes awry when Edward eventually returns to Forks and hears reports of Bella's death. He heads to Volterra, intent on killing himself, and there's Bella. Standing right behind Aro, looking like a vampire demon.
Their reunion is very very awkward.
Especially as, blaming himself for Bella's sudden case of vampirism, Edward still tries to goad the Volturi into killing him. Bella never quite recovers from the idea that, apparently, the idea of Bella being a permanent fixture on this earth was enough for Edward to want to kill himself.
the intern
Peter Parker x Reader (college au)
requested: (anon) plz plz plz give me some college aged, super powerful ( think stark ceo powerful ) peter parker shit. idc what the rest of the story is about, i just need a brooding, smoldering, suit wearing, extremely expensive, college aged spiderman. plz and thank you!!!!
warnings: language
summary: When you start a new internship at Stark Industries, you're not only surprised to find Peter working as your boss, but that he's not the shy neighborhood boy you grew up with
a/n: this doesn't follow canon so for this imagine, hammer industries is just a rival company and the snap never happened lol also i don't know anything more than operating a phone so don't expect me to write sciencey, techy stuff lmao
(gif source)
Tumblr media
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” you were running across the road to jump into a cab that was available. Your phone hadn't been charging all night as you thought it had which caused you to wake up forty-five minutes before the start of the interview. You need this internship before you graduate from Empire State and get your degree in robotics.
On the way there, you nearly got car sick as the driver took sharp turns and nearly ran past intersections seconds before they became red. Once in front of Hammer Industries, your heels clicked loudly as you ran inside the tall building. You checked in with the front desk and took the elevator up to the 10th floor.
Just as you arrived, Justin Hammer was calling your name. “I'm right here!” you nearly tripped on your heels and your breaths were short.
“I've called your name three times, do you understand what that makes you look like, correct?” Justin stood unphased as you stood up straight and tried to steady your breath. “All these people are on time. Some of these folks have been here for hours, even.”
“Yes, sir. I’m so sorry–”
“Shame, I really liked your resume and your report on the expansion of nano-technology. Try again next year, maybe.” Justin started to call out the next participant and when she got up you stepped in front of her, “Please Mr. Hammer, I need this internship or I can't graduate.”
The people in the waiting room had their eyes on the two of you, tension so thick that it was almost hard to breathe. “Then maybe you should have come on time,” he pushed you aside to let the next person in to interview. You quickly ran back out and spoke to no one all the way home. Your eyes and cheeks were aching as you held in the tears during your Uber ride. The driver wanted to ask if you were okay, but if you were to break down in his car he’d probably be stuck having to listen to what happened and if he was honest with himself, he didn't actually care.
Once you got to your apartment, you made a straight line to the kitchen. “Hey, how’d the interview go?” MJ, your roommate, asked while still looking at her computer. You reached into the freezer for your emergency ice cream pint, snatched a spoon and walked into your room without saying anything. “That bad, I guess,” MJ said to herself.
:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:
You sat with MJ and Ned in the cafeteria, but had not touched any of the food on your plate. Your head was laid on the steel table and you just continuously groaned. “I’m a failure,” you whined.
“No, what you are is fucking dumb,” MJ commented as she ate.
“Thanks, Michelle, that makes me feel so much better,” you looked up to glare at her before laying her head back down. Ned felt bad that his friend was in despair, “How come you didn't ask Peter for help?”
“Huh?” you lifted your head back up some of your hair falling onto your face.
“Yeah, Peter already works at Stark Industries, why didn't you just ask him to get you in? You could even skip the internship altogether and be in full time,” Ned suggested. You gave it some thought, but something about it didn't sound right.
“No, I don't want to bother Peter. I don’t want him to think that I’m only calling him for a job,” you sighed. Ned texted Peter anyways. Unexpectedly, Peter texted him back immediately.
“He says it’s fine,” Ned showed you his phone to read the text. ‘Yeah man, tell her to come in tomorrow and Ms. Potts will interview her’
You let out a deep breath you didn't know you were holding and pulled out your phone.
The Stark Industries building was huge. It almost looked taller than the Empire State Building, and maybe it actually was. Your legs were shaking as you stared up at it. “Here goes nothing,” you assured yourself.
The lobby was bustling with people; workers walking around, a group of kids that seemed to be here on a field trip, and some teens taking pictures in front of one of Mr. Stark's Iron Man suits.
The trip up to the 17th floor was crowded with people as more and more entered in every passing floor. You had to squeeze yourself out and accidentally stepped on someone’s foot in the process.
Looking around, your jaw dropped. It was an open laboratory with groups of people putting together small robots, flying drones, and people laughing and talking. It was such a fun and cool looking environment, you wondered why you didn't just apply here in the first place.
Pepper Potts spotted you walking around and approached you with a tap on your shoulder. “Hi, I’m Pepper. You must be Y/N,” she reached her hand out to shake yours which you accepted. “Hi, nice to meet you.”
“Peter’s told me a lot about you. Come, follow me,” Pepper’s office had glass walls and a view of New York from behind her desk. You weren't particularly fond of heights, but even you would love to have an office view like that. Pepper gestured to the chair in front of her as she smoothed her dress to sit in hers. “So, I see here that you had an interview at Hammer’s. Can I ask why you chose them?” You didn't even know how they got that information. You hadn't seen or spoken to Peter in quite a while, so how Pepper knew that was beyond you. You sat there with your lips moving to say something but nothing was coming out.
Pepper seemed to have caught on what you were thinking and elaborated, “Before I do any interviewing, I do full background checks on everyone.” She had a gentle smile which made you feel better. You thought she would scold you or something considering the question did more than catch you off guard.
“My mother used to work there for a long time and I figured that I would follow,” you explained. Pepper nodded her head and wrote some notes down. She looked onto her computer and looked at everything there was about you. “Well, I see here that you have exceptional grades. 4.7 GPA since you started school and your paper on nano-technology has gotten much praise. I think even Tony read it.” No way. The Tony Stark read my paper? “So tell me, do you see yourself working here at Stark Industries?”
You looked outside and watched everyone in the open lab again. “Yes.”
“Then that’s all I need to hear. We’d love to have you here,” she reached over to shake your hand. You looked at her surprised and hesitantly shook hers. “Welcome to the team, Y/N.”
“Thank you so much!” You cupped her hand with both of yours and shook it a little too quickly, but she didn't seem to mind. You were ecstatic to start your path to your career, and at a dream place at that.
:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:
Your alarm rang at the time you set it to, but there was no need for it. You couldn't sleep all night. Today is your first day of your internship and you were feeling so many things at once. Excited, nervous, happy, scared…
You tried to restrain yourself to a light breakfast, but MJ’s pancakes were to die for that you ate two whole stacks. You looked through your closet just about fifteen times; you had already picked an outfit the following night with the help of MJ, but when you put it back on, you hated it. It sucked for your roommate seeing as she had to sit through you changing from eight other outfits.
You tried to picture the lab again to see how other people dressed for a better idea to base it on your outfit choice. From what you remember, it was pretty casual, so that’s what you stuck to.
You were given your pass the day you were hired, so you had no issue walking inside. The elevator was just as packed as it was last time, but you were more composed so there were no toes being stepped on this time. You weren't exactly sure as to where you had to go, so you looked around to see if there were other interns to ask where to start.
“Y/N!” Peter’s voice surprised you from behind. Your shoulders jumped a bit, but relaxed at the view of his face. His face… you actually hadn't seen him for quite a while. Months, maybe. His jawline was more defined, and his once floppy hair was styled neatly. You tried to not look him up and down, but the temptation was definitely there. And the other thing, his voice was deeper than you last remembered. Is this really Peter Parker? “Hey, Peter.”
He gave you a hug that nearly made you lose breath. He was stronger than you remembered. A memory flashed back to when you were in junior high; you, Ned and Peter were hanging around the local park and you beat Peter on rounds on the monkey bars. He gave up after a couple bars, but you went back and forth a couple times. ‘Show off.’ But now, he had muscles that the shirt he was wearing hugged his biceps.
The hug was quick, and you had to pretend that he didn't just squeeze some life out of you. “Do you work on this floor?”
“Yeah, you’re actually assigned to work with my team. Come, I’ll show you around.” He started walking and you noticed how his posture changed. Damn, I know it hasn't been this long since I've seen him. Why does he look so different? He was wearing trousers. Trousers? Peter hates trousers. But his ass is looking great–
“Hey guys, this is Y/N. She’s going to be working with us as an intern. And I'll say this beforehand, no she's not going to be taking coffee or lunch orders,” Peter introduced you. There were various aged people in this group. Some were your age, and one person looked to have been in his thirties. Peter is in charge of this group? They all said ‘hi’ to you and went around introducing themselves.
Once that was finished, Peter pulled a chair for you on the table. “You’ll take notes for me while I give this presentation,” he whispered to you before walking in front of the table and started writing on the clear glass board.
He was talking quickly and didn't stumble over his words like he used to. Everyone was listening to him attentively and you jotted notes down as quickly as you could. Every now and then, you would steal glimpses of him and feel a sort of… well you felt something. Amazement? Inspiration? Adoration?
No doubt was Peter one of the smartest people you've ever met and here he was leading his own team and making potential products for Stark Industries at such a young age. Seeing him at work was so… it was indescribable to you but all you could think of was how different he is now. In a good way, of course.
Peter Parker has been your friend for years and to see him change from a bumbling, shy, adorable nerd into a confident, intelligent working man attracted you.
When you got home, you thought a lot about your first day. Being an intern at Stark Industries was really fun, so far. You weren't expected to do silly things like get coffee or lunch for everyone or pick up someone’s dry cleaning. You actually learned something and even had your opinions heard on some of the things that Peter suggested for his team’s upcoming product presentation.
If this is what it's like to be an intern, you couldn't imagine what it would be like working full time.
“How'd it go?” MJ stuck her head in your room. “It was fun. I'm working with Peter,” you explained your day to her.
“Cool,” was the last thing she said before she went to her own room for the night.
:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:
In the past few months, your internship at Stark’s has been going swimmingly. Everyone's been so nice, and the work is so fascinating. You've gotten closer with Peter and along the way, he felt like he was more than a friend and boss to you.
Currently, everyone was getting ready for their final presentations for the upcoming annual Stark Industries Convention. It was going to be Peter’s first year presenting his own project with his team and you were so excited to be a part of it.
The time you’ve spent with Peter was really fun. He was a good mentor and a great friend. The only thing was that you couldn't help but look at him a little too long, and you’ve found yourself thinking about him during your classes or doing your homework. The shy boy from Midtown High was no more, replaced– no, grown into the Peter you know now. But you pushed all feelings aside to focus on your next thesis paper and mock-up of the handout brochures of Peter’s project.
Sometimes, you didn't even feel like an intern as Peter would ask for any ideas you had to make the project better and even let you help with assembly. He stayed true to his words and you’ve never once had to run for coffee or things like that. There’d be times when you would study some of the little parts under a magnifying glass and he’d come up slightly behind you and explain about some of the bits on the working table.
And every time he did that, your breath would be stuck in your throat and you’d have to remind yourself that this was just Peter helping you out and you’re just learning. But it was normal to want more every now and then… right?
:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:
The convention was just a few days away and you had trouble finding something to wear. These events were usually black tie events, but did that mean the presenting teams as well? Wouldn't that be uncomfortable?
One of the guys on your team, Richie, sat with you during lunch and talked about how he was probably going to wear the same suit as always. Not because he couldn't afford a new suit, but he was just a simple person and he only wears it once a year for the conventions and that’s all, so it’s still in mint condition.
The girls on your team and some from others were going dress shopping the day before and invited you to join. You were excited mainly because now you don't have to bother MJ for it.
Speaking of MJ, you were going to ask her to come with you. Pepper sent out the electronic invitations to everyone in the company and authorized plus ones to even interns. She’s never been to one – for reasons you were still confused about – but you wanted your best friend to be there for you. And if not MJ, then you bet Ned would still come with you. Wait, what if he’s going with Peter?
On cue, Peter had sat in the chair next to yours in the small break room, “Hey, Y/N.”
“Oh, hey Pete. You excited for Saturday?” Peter quietly stirred his coffee and gave you a small smile, “Uh, yeah. I’m nervous, but I’ve worked really hard on this. And everyone, too. Including you.”
You slightly blushed. I didn't do all that much you thought. You two just sat there taking small sips from the hot, bitter beverage.
“So… I wanted to ask you something,” Peter started.
“Mhm?” The coffee nearly slipped past your lips. You quickly grabbed a napkin to lightly dab some of it off of your lips.
“Well, as you know, we can bring anyone with us to the convention,” he trailed off.
“Yes?” Is he going to…
“And I wanted to know if you were bringing MJ with you.” Oh. You nodded your head and thought you hid your disappointment well but without knowing, Peter actually caught it for a split second. “Good. You can come with me,” he smiled and stood up.
You were in awe; without effort, Peter just asked you to be his date for Saturday.
:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆:
“Dude, how are you not ready yet? He’s gonna be here any minute,” MJ sat at her computer per usual working. Your music was too loud for her taste playing from your shared bathroom. Peter said he would pick you up at 7, and it was currently 6:50.
You had put on and removed your make-up at least five times. Something was always wrong; one of the wings would either be thicker than the other, the blush would be the wrong shade, or the lipliner kept going out of place. But, alas, you finally nailed it.
Your hair was styled half up with elegant curls and braids. In between some braids were little bits of baby’s breath flowers. Most likely, you were going to have a hard time taking those out but they looked cute and it was too late to take them out.
Your dress was right above your knee and flowed comfortably so you wouldn't have a hard time walking. It was a neutral taupe color and had a V-line that ended just above cleavage and hugged the curve of your waist. You paired it with simple black heels and a small, white handbag.
“He’s here,” MJ informed you.
“Okay,” you took a deep breath, “what do you think?” You spun around and held your arms out. “You look really pretty. Now go get ‘em. I’ll watch it on the live stream.” She gave you a lazy thumbs up and resumed her work.
Outside was Peter in an all-black apparel. His dress shirt had only one button undone, and he had a loose blazer that accentuated the dip of his shoulders. He stood against the limo with his hands at his sides. God, he’s gonna be the death of me.
When he caught sight of you, he had a flirtatious smirk on his lips and held out for your hand. “Peter, where’d this limo come from?”
“Mr. Stark set it up for me,” he stated like it was no big deal. Must be nice being his favorite. He held the door for you to climb in and closed the door behind him. “We’re ready, Happy,” he told the driver. Happy rolled his eyes, closed the window and drove off.
The convention was off to a great start; Tony Stark came in with his suit as he always loved to do and started introductions before everyone else scattered around to look at the projects of the many departments in his company. Some groups of certain departments had large stages, some had small stands, like Peter’s.
There were still large crowds coming to see the smaller presentations, and everyone seemed to be fascinated with Peter's. You stood on the side as his team operated the machine and Peter spoke. He looked confident and it was mesmerizing to watch him.
After the night was over, all employee’s and some guests were brought back to headquarters for the after party. You walked around with Peter and had flutters in your heart every time he held the small of your back. The most exciting part of the night was meeting Tony Stark in person. He greeted Peter warmly, and then his eyes landed on you, “Peter, who’s this?”
“Oh, this is Y/N. She’s a friend of mine,” he gestured for you. You shook Tony’s hand and stood starstruck. “The one you don’t shut up about?” Pepper hit his shoulder and laughed nervously.
“Wait, I’ve heard about you. Buddy of mine works at Empire State and he showed me your paper, it was really good.” You were still shocked that he had even read it and here he was talking to you about it. You went back and forth talking about nano-technology.
On the way home, you and Peter talked and laughed about things you told him as you caught him up to what was happening on campus when he couldn't be there. It was a really fun night, and Peter was more noticeably relaxed now that the hard part was over. “Alright, home sweet home,” Happy announced through the window.
“Well, that’s me,” you smiled sadly, not wanting the night to end. You reached to open the door but Peter climbed out from his side. He walked around to open your door and just like he did earlier, held his hand out for you to grab and assist you out the limo. What was different this time was that he kept his hand in yours as he walked you to the door of the apartments. “I had a great time with you tonight,” Peter confessed.
“Me too,” your voice was soft and low for only him to hear. Peter’s eyes switched from looking into yours to your lips before he grabbed your face with both hands and kissed you. The kiss was needy, passionate, but had a certain gentleness to it. Once he felt you kiss him back with the same fervor, he deepened the kiss and brought one hand to pull your waist closer to him.
You pulled apart to regain your breath and looked to admire his swollen lips and he copied the same notion. He leaned in to give you a gentle kiss and pulled away, “Good night, Y/N.”
“Good night, Peter.” Your cheeks were flushed and your face was warm. You watched him as he left and ran inside. Upstairs in your apartment, you found MJ and Ned sitting on the couch with a bag of chips in each of their hands.
“Good night?” Ned asked. You just nodded and walked slowly to your room.
“We saw the whole thing, by the way,” MJ said nonchalantly. You looked back to glare at your best friends, Ned smiling innocently at you and MJ keeping her straight face.
You changed into your pajamas and laid on your bed on your back, looking up at the ceiling. You couldn't wait to go back to work on Monday.
I’m sorry, but can I just go on a little rant about the Louis, clouis, and the Clem comic...?
I didn’t really talk about Louis in my overall review of the comic because I wanted that to be more contained to the content shown on the pages, Clementine’s relationship with AJ, and her as a character.... but the more I think about these comics and Louis, the more frustrated I become thinking about what Clementine abandoning everyone would do to him.
[... okay it’s not little anymore since I guess I can never just do anything simple when it comes to Louis, sorry my bad]
So, no surprise, we all know the comic’s bullshit by now. Clementine leaving everything and everyone behind because she’s not happy is dumb, AJ just letting her go is dumb, and Clem going to the mountains on crutches and a peg leg to find this so-called happiness is dumb.
Now that we’ve established it’s dumb, I wanna talk about Louis because I got a lot of built up feelings about how bullshit this storyline is with how Clementine would not only abandon AJ, but also abandon Louis.
Because let me tell you..... his heart would be broken beyond repair and I need to talk about why.
Sigh.... so.... muh boy.
Tumblr media
Before he met Clementine, Louis was this laidback, irresponsible, but caring and musical person who kept his head down to avoid conflict and never looked at the future. He was the kind of person who took things one day at a time, saw survival as a day-to-day task, and said that the future doesn’t exist, there’s only today. You get the point, he was never too concerned with things because they always seemed to work out, and if they didn’t, then that sucks and that’s why we should appreciate every day while we have it.
Louis is shown to be charismatic and friendly, he spends his free time playing piano and card games, but no one really takes him seriously. Not even Marlon, his best friend for 8+ years. While he doesn’t seem to be on bad terms with anyone [including Aasim, they just act like people who disagree with the other’s point of view and have had the same argument many times, but that doesn’t mean they hate each other, y’know?] he also doesn’t appear super close with anyone outside of Marlon and possibly Violet, but even then.
Marlon’s shown to have little faith in him with the way he talks about if Louis will even show up to hunt. He has a controlling grip on Louis that’s prominent during the confrontation scene when he uses intimidation to try to convince Louis to not interfere. Oh, and there’s the fact that Marlon’s been lying to Louis for the past year about the twins and then continued to lie to his face about what really happened to Brody... which isn’t great when you consider how Louis was the only one who had blind faith in him as a leader and, according to Marlon, was the only one who couldn’t see how pathetic he always was.
Violet, while having a few more nicer moments with him than Marlon, still invalidates him and his feelings several times throughout the first half of the game which makes me wonder how close they ever were, or at least if Violet ever considered him a close friend to begin with. And no, a small monologue in the dorms doesn’t make everything better or confirm they were brotp the whole time... especially when once they’re on the boat, Louis might as well not exist because Violet can’t be bothered to acknowledge what happened to him or inquire about how he’s doing. I guess she just didn’t have time react while standing in her cell for several unbothered minutes-- no wait, it’s she already reacted off screen. Right. Good writing is good.
What I’m getting at here is that even though Louis is surrounded by people who he genuinely cares about, there is an argument to be made that he’s a lonely person. Hell, he’s aware of his loneliness when he says that no one hears past his music and jokes. I mean, how many nights do you think he spent by himself playing the piano because no one wanted to hear it? Are they like Violet and crack jokes about how he doesn’t have actual talent? Probably, given that someone literally carved “you suck at playing” onto the side of the damn piano.
Oh, and let’s touch on that backstory of his. Louis grew up wealthy with two parents who loved him and each other, and they gave him anything he wanted except singing lessons. Louis says he wanted to be a real musician. But I guess his father didn’t like that idea and told him no, with the [as Louis puts it] dumb dad lesson of, “You get to be happy, or you get to be rich, can’t be both.” ...which is interesting given that Louis and his family were stupid rich but also.... were they not happy? well, that doesn’t make sense because little Louis knew that if he broke up their marriage, they would be hurt.
So yeah, Louis was so upset that his father continually refused to let him take singing lessons that he broke into the man’s credit cards and faked an affair, which led to his parents divorcing... and then he spit his father’s words back in his face.
Then they dumped him at Ericson. And the walkers came.
There’s so much to unpack from the story he tells that it could be it’s own analysis, but basically.... Louis is aware of why what he did was fucked up, and he carries it with him every day.
He regrets what he did, chews himself out for being such a “vindictive fuckhead” [and the amount of force used in that line tells you a lot, like how it’s not the first time he’s chastised himself like this] and he admits that he doesn’t even know the person he’s talking about. Yet, he still sees himself as bad, saying that they [I assume the staff] told him and the other kids they’re bad people. I don’t doubt that Louis internalized that which played a huge role in the confidence and self-esteem issues he has during tfs.
Tumblr media
Anyway, I’ll come back to this later, but when you take that amount of guilt and regret, and mix it with the fact that they dropped him off at this school that was supposed to make him better.... then the walkers came and those teachers, staff, and headmaster? Gone. Left a bunch of kids to fend for themselves, with the exception of Ms. Martin [but given how she looks when we find her I doubt she lasted that long] and I cannot imagine how horrifying that was for all of them. The dead are up eating people, and if you die you become one of them... and the people you thought you could rely on just fucking left you to die at this school.
Every kid in that school has trauma and abandonment issues from before and after the world went to shit, every last one, and Louis isn’t the exception here. Over the years, a lot of kids died and they’ve all seen horrible shit. They all knew they were never going to see their families again, and as far as we know, no one came to get their kids at the beginning. They had to find ways of coping while trying to survive, and all they had left was each other.
Louis copes with music and games and jokes. He’s built up this persona where it seems like he’s unaffected by the comments the others make, that the death and suffering he’s gone through is in the past, that he is confident and open to those around him.
But then Clementine and AJ show up, and Louis grows close with both of them. They had immediate chemistry upon first meeting, he was the one who looked after AJ since it seems like everyone else saw him as a little terror, and he went out of his way to be kind and make them comfortable.
When they go hunting with him, Louis and Clementine have a moment after taking care of the walker where they lower their guards a bit-- Louis gives her more in-depth reasons for his views of survival, and going off her expression, it gets to her and makes her think.... but they’ve know each other a day and he’s not quick to infodump his life story or let her in, so he cuts the conversation short.
Then we have the Marlon confrontation scene that I have gone over so many times in the past. I won’t dillydally with it too long but..... Clementine appeals to Louis, who curls in on himself because of the control Marlon has on him. He wants to help, and hell, he knows this is wrong but he’s so used to not getting involved that he gets defensive.... plus, he’s known Clementine for two days, and he’s known Marlon for 8+ years.... he wants to believe Marlon but you can tell he doesn’t want this, either. It takes Clementine talking to him to give him courage to stand between her and Marlon’s gun and it’s a lot.
AJ shoots Marlon and everything goes to shit, and Louis is a goddamn mess. His best friend was murderer right in front of him, so add that to the trauma list, and he’s overwhelmed with all these feelings that again.... they keep getting invalidated by Violet because “Marlon was a liar and murderer, therefore you shouldn’t feel bad about his death. Get over yourself, Louis, you can be such a shithead sometimes.”
Oh yeah Vi, I guess he should care more about two people he’s known for a total of two days rather than for the safety of the people [including you] he’s grown up with and cared about for 8+ years.... makes sense.
So yeah, little to no support during this time. Alone again.
And just because I have to make this clear so no one gets a hair up their ass-- both Louis and Violet are wrong here. Kicking them out isn’t the solution, but neither is acting like AJ was right to commit murder just because it was Marlon.
 But plots gotta plot, so they get voted out and you can see that Louis is conflicted about the whole thing. He wants them gone, but at the same time, he knows what kicking them out means. You can see it on his face that he’s not okay with kicking them out. He’s hurting when he’s there in the dorms telling them how the vote went... he literally doesn’t know what else to do. He just knows that everything hurts, Clem and AJ caused it, and he wants the pain to stop. He even tries to justify it to himself by figuring that they’ve done this before so they’ll be fine. Not a great thing to say, Lou.
Tumblr media
Anyway, we know the story, Clem and AJ come back and Louis once again sees the consequences of acting out of pain.... AJ is shot because Louis was hurt and he made a bad decision that he’s gotta live with.... something that he’s done before, and this affirms to him that he’s bad. He wishes he could take it back, and goes as far as to admit that to Clementine during the archery scene.
By the way, credit to him for his apology to her. It’s rare in these games that Clem gets a genuine apology from someone who hurt her and doesn’t turn around to repeat the hurtful behavior, y’know? Plus, I can think of plenty of characters who owed Clem an apology in the past or if they did apologize, it was half-assed.
You can feel how conflicted he is with this whole thing-- learning who Marlon really was and what he did, feeling something for Clementine before everything went down and not knowing how to handle those feelings afterward, caring about AJ and understanding why he thought shooting was the best choice but still hurting that his friend is dead....
And the thing is.... Louis forgives her for so much, as she does him, and through all of that bullshit, they manage to develop that strong connection that turns romantic. Louis lets himself be fully vulnerable with her and is honest about his feelings, how she listened when no one else did and seeing him for more than just the persona he put on.
This works on Clementine’s side, too. Clementine has been through her own fair share of bullshit-- trauma, abandonment, loss, injury, you name it. She’s made mistakes, done terrible things, and has been in enough groups to know that romance usually ends in heartbreak.... and yet, she’s willing to open herself up to Louis and admit she feels a lot for him.
Is it a little rushed? Yep. Could it have been handled better? Of course, most things this season could’ve, but what we got was pretty good.
So Clementine and Louis are romantically involved now, the raiders attack, and she saves him... and boy does Louis feel guilty about that one, too. He feels bad enough that he questions why she would pick him because he can’t fathom his life being worth saving over another’s. He doesn’t see himself as useful, and even though Clementine is literally his girlfriend at this point, his self-esteem is so all over the place that he can’t understand why she would have him at her side.
Tumblr media
And when Clementine tells him that he’s too important to her, he’s too baffled to even give a response. He looks at her in disbelief like he wasn’t expecting her to say that.  But this shows that at the beginning of their relationship, he still doubts himself, and through her working with him, he begins to build up that strength in himself.
He becomes brave enough to share what got him sent to the school with her, and he plays Don’t Be Afraid for everyone at the party and like.... for once, everyone is listening to him. Really listening to him. They’re not talking shit about his musical skills, they’re not ignoring him or the feelings he’s putting into the song, they’re sitting there with him and I just..... if you watch him, you can see that his eyes get pretty glossy throughout the song. The moment meant something to everyone.
There’s also the fact that Clementine asked him to come with her and AJ onto the boat, and to be the one in charge of the bomb... that’s a huge responsibly and he feels the pressure of that. He starts to panic a bit about if he can do it, because what if he fucks up? What if he gets them caught and makes everything worse? What if something happens to Clementine and he can’t do anything about it?
She’s there to reassure him that she believes in him, and that he can do this. They’re going to get everyone back, and he needs to focus... then he asks her to slap him which why would you? that’s dumb, so Clementine smooches him instead and like.... he physically relaxes into her because he’s comfortable and trusts her in this situation.
Also, he loves her and cares about this mission enough to cover himself and his fancy jacket in walker guts.... sure, he complains while doing so but how else is he gonna cope with rubbing rotten guts on himself to blend in with a herd of walkers?
Skipping ahead so that we’re not here all day, I wanna talk about the walk back to the school because it’s one of the most important clouis moments in the game and a huge reason that solidifies why the comic is bullshit.
Louis went off on his own to go out and find them. He didn’t know where they would be, he just knew that he had to go out and find them after making sure everyone was okay back at the school because he couldn’t bare the thought that he had lost them. And the way the AJ gets so excited to see him? and the group hug??
Tumblr media
At this point, Louis has grown so much as a character. With Clementine by his side to support him, he’s grown stronger and more reliable. Remember how he never thought about the future? Well, now he is because his relationship with Clementine has given him a reason to long for a future. He talks about building this imaginary house with her, one he knows they can’t physically build... but it’s his way of saying we can build a home together, that he wants a future with her and AJ and everyone else. It’s such a personal conversation that flows so easy between them. Louis is more comfortable talking to her about things from his past, which is something he didn’t want to do back in ep1.
He confides in her how he’s feeling after he shot and killed Dorian, he tells her that having a home means protecting it and I just.... it’s so good, okay? And from Clementine’s side, you can feel how at ease she is with him, too. Just the way she smiles at him as they’re walking? like he’s the cutest thing and she’s so happy to have him with her?
But then we gotta deal with Minerva’s crazy ass on the bridge and well, AJ shoots Tenn and Louis is having flashbacks to Marlon and it’s not great. That’s a whole thing, and he ends up separated from them while escaping.
We don’t get to see Louis’ reaction to Clementine getting bit and losing her leg since I guess that puts a damper on the overly happy ending. But, going off of what we know about him and what I’ve explained [which isn’t even all of it, this isn’t a full Louis character analysis. if it was, it would be much longer and in multiple parts... believe it or not, I’m trying to not make this too long and only sorta failing...] we can get an idea of how he would react.
Um, to say he was upset is an understatement.
Because remember, he had no time to think and climbed over the fence, thinking he could get them to climb over and they could get away, but it didn’t work. He ended up leaving them in order to save himself since walkers were closing in on him.
But you know that he’d blame himself for the bite. A lot of, “if I had just stayed” and “I should’ve climbed back over, I should’ve stayed with you.” I’m sure there were points where it looked like Clem wouldn’t make it and I can’t imagine how much hurt he went through watching her suffer and heal from losing a leg like that.
Not only that, but knowing that AJ was the one to do it? And him thinking about what Clem’s death would do to AJ after all this? There isn’t a doubt in my mind that Louis would take care of AJ if she died. He cares about AJ, and he loves Clementine, so he be there for both of them, even if he’s still hurting from Tenn’s death.
However, Clementine didn’t die. She survived the bite and amputation, and when we flashforward, she and Louis are still happily together. Louis is right there next to her at dinner, and he’s the one to help her with her crutches. He’s there to go over future plans to meet the traveling caravan, and Clementine wants him to be the one to go.
Oh, and Louis once again forgives AJ for shooting Tenn, claiming that he understands that AJ saw something that he couldn’t. Like with Marlon, he’s not happy Tenn’s dead but he can see why AJ did it to save his life.
I just..... happy ending. Clementine and Louis are together and she’s truly happy to have found a home for her and AJ with him at Ericson.
....But then the comic thought it would be fun to say “nah.”
The comic isn’t canon, I’m still insulted that it would ever consider itself as such, but even so I can’t help but feel so frustrated about how this would destroy Louis.
He finally found someone he would consider his best friend, not just his girlfriend. She saw past that funny man persona and he trusted her enough to let her past this wall he built around himself. He let himself become vulnerable around her, he named his song after her. Their initials are carved into his piano with a heart surrounding them. He loved her.
Tumblr media
Clementine left him feeling loved, something he probably hasn’t truly felt since he was a little boy with his parents before their divorce. She loved him even after hearing his past because she knew that wasn’t him anymore, and she helped him build the confidence he needed to step up. Because of Clementine, Louis wants to enjoy every day while also looking at the future. He isn’t lonely anymore, he has her and AJ. He’s truly happy.
So to tell me that Louis would wake up one morning only to have AJ tell him that Clementine’s gone, she’ been planning an escape without telling anyone because she wasn’t happy...? I’m sorry, but if you think that wouldn’t leave Louis absolutely devastated, then you know nothing about him as a character.
This idea is just.... look, Louis is perceptive. That’s a big part of his character, he’s perceptive of those around him. If Clementine was showing signs of being unhappy or depression, he would see it. He would notice a change. He would be able to tell if something was off, and he would ask her about it. Louis is the type of person to ask you what you need. What can he do to help? What do you need to feel better? And if you don’t know, it’s okay, he’ll help you figure it out in any way possible.
Plus, the comic suggests that there are times where she went off on her own but came back [probably doing her escape prep ugh] and you expect me to believe that Louis wouldn’t notice that or wonder what she’s doing? Wouldn’t sense that something’s going on?
After she’s gone, he’s going to blame himself for not being enough. He couldn’t make her happy and he was a fool to think he ever could. AJ lost the only family he’s known since he was born because Louis couldn’t help her, couldn’t do anything to stop her from leaving.
And for him to realize that she didn’t love him? Clementine, the girl he thought the world of because of how strong and confident and in-charge she was, because she saw him for who he was..... she left him, abandoned him... and she couldn’t even be bothered with a goodbye.... that says that she didn’t care all that much about him in the end.
You KNOW that he would think he had this coming, too. How could the universe allow him to fall in love and be happy with someone who loved him back after what he did to his parents? He would feel so heartbroken that he would see this as some sort of karma for breaking up his parents happy marriage as a kid years before he ever met Clementine and before the apocalypse.
I fucking can’t.... I don’t have the words to fully explain how much I hate this. Louis wouldn’t be okay afterward, and I doubt he’d ever fully recover. I wasn’t joking when I mentioned before that Louis would stop playing piano. How could he sit there and play when I he can see is their initials and remember the night she confessed to him? When he named his song after her? Clementine left and took the music with her because Louis wouldn’t have it in him... something that he used to cope would be ruined and that’s just.... it’s fucking awful.
Not only that, but now he has AJ who I assume is hurting just as much [though the comics inaccurately assume he would just let Clem go sooo... yeah] and he would be the only one Louis would really talk to about it, but then again.... what if AJ doesn’t wanna talk about it? What if AJ starts to act out and things just become terrible and Louis is just too overwhelmed?
I just.... UGH. That’s how I feel. UGH.
Clementine from the comic? Not her. She would never fucking do this to Louis, AJ, or anyone else at Ericson, and you would know that if you played the tfs.
Sigh.... sorry, I just needed to get this all out. I haven’t seen anyone talk about how Clem leaving would affect Louis and I’ve gotten some asks/come across some posts about Louis that have left me incredibly annoyed.... well, I was annoyed before because of the comics, so my annoyances with those things were only heightened. So yeah... I wanted to talk about Louis’ character in hopes of explaining why he would be so hurt if this comic was canon.
Which it’s not. So it’s fine.
How are we all feelin’ at this point, by the way? I know I’m not the only one still annoyed with the comic, so I hope y’all are doin’ okay. Hope you’re stayin’ chill and thinking about your faves to help cope with this mess hahaha
Edna Mode was a renowned designer, famed for her harsh but accurate critiques, her fierce and practical lines, and of course, being the designer of the majority of superheroes.
And now she was hosting a fashionista gala, inviting those worthy of a Mode gala. As for those asking for an invite, Edna just asks who they are and calls security.
Lila, as the self-proclaimed BFF of Ladybug, and Gabriel’s muse, had already boasted of receiving the glamorous invitation. It didn’t just come in an envelope, it came out of the sky in a rosewood chest, accompanied by a bottle of wine and canapés. (Or so she says. Adrien and Marinette rolled their eyes. Chloé wasn’t paying attention)
Alya: Girl, I’m so jealous. But hey, maybe this will be a good thing. After all, Adrien is going with Kagami. Chloe will just stick with her mom. That means it’s a chance for you and Marinette to know each other better.
Oh yeah, did I mention that everyone knows Marinette is MDC?
Lila forced a grin but didn’t want to make any promises.
Imagine Lila’s rage to know she wasn’t given an invite because she was just a model. Adrien was the heir to a fashion company. She was not.
With all the bragging Lila did, she can’t back out or Chloe and Marinette will call out her absence. (Chloé learned about Lila being a guest from Sabrina later from gossiping)
So, she stole Marinette’s invitation. She did some editing and made her own customised invite, brandishing it for her class to see.
Marinette saw her invitation missing, rolled her eyes and reported the theft to Edna. Plz, everyone knows Edna invited her. She didn’t really need a piece of expensive paper.
The day of the gala arrived, and Lila brought out her invite.
The guard looked at his clipboard. “You’re not on the list.”
Lila: No, but I do have an invite. Obviously someone must have made a mistake with your list.
The guard snorted. “If that’s the case, then your fingerprints and eye scans should have already been registered. That’s what opens the doors.“
Tumblr media
Lila gulped and thought about sneaking in with the next guest. But no such luck. Security made sure one person entered at a time.
As the security guard moved to push Lila back into the crowd of fans, Lila cried out that she knows Ladybug and Gabriel.
Guard: what’s your point?
Lila: You’ll be fired for this!
Guard: Yeah, yeah. I’ve heard this all before.
Another guard just scoffed. “You’re only a model. One of many in the industry. Miss Mode doesn’t care for models.”
Lila: what are models if not the face of fashion?
“Spoiled, stupid little stick figures with poofy lips who think only of themselves” Edna herself was at the entrance, wondering what was causing the disruption in her guest entrance flow.
Lila: How can you say that? Then why would Ladybug be my Best Friend?
Edna: the day Ladybug says she is your Best Friend is the day I wear crocs. And I don’t mean crocodile leather.
Edna points at a random guard. “You, get this so-called model out of the way. She is blocking the queue.
Oh by the way, Edna calling out Lila was caught on camera by the reporters.
One of them questioned why she was kicking out Gabriel’s muse when his son, a supermodel himself, was invited.
Edna: I did not invite the boy because of his face. I invited him because I saw potential (basically she realized he was Chat Noir. She would never invite Adrien otherwise. As seen from her quote, she doesn’t have a high opinion of models) That is, if he ever gets out of his father’s shadow. Because, let’s face it darling, what can Adrien do besides look pretty and play with swords and piano? You would think the boy would be in part of business meetings, but no. At this rate, Gabriel needs this gala to get out of that stuffy house. Realize that maybe his parenting methods are flawed compared to some other talented figures here. Look at Miss Kagami, focused on upholding her family legacy of fencing. MDC already knows how to run her own business after learning a bit from her parents. Even Audrey’s daughter has been joining in on becoming a fashion critic and throwing parties for political parties. But I must go, my guests await.
Back inside the party, guests were avoiding a seething Gabriel’s eyes. He had come to scout out the superhero guests, only to be called out by Edna on live tv.
Marinette went up to Edna and asked one of her fashion idols why she burned the Agrestes in public.
Edna: do you think Gabriel would change his parenting ways if we did not expose them to the influential figures of this industry, as well as the public eye? I guarantee you Adrien will be allowed more freedom of choice, lest Gabriel wants his son to be known as a coddled boy who can’t even make his own decisions.
Edna didn’t bother softening her sharp voice as she says these words.
Adrien flushed.
Quickly changing the subject, Marinette asked why Edna hated models.
Edna: it’s not that I hate them personally. I just hate their jobs and what they represent. Models nowadays are beautiful only according to the world standards. People who see them want to be like them, never mind that the models they see on the screen are airbrushed to unrealistic and impossible perfection. Now models focus only on their own appearance, trying to maintain their beauty as time ages them. They go on diets and become superficial. Whereas outside the modelling industry or such like, you don’t need to be stereotypically beautiful to be worthy. Where your worth is measured in kindness and bravery and talent and intelligence and anything beyond superficiality.
Adrien overheard and he frowned, not liking the idea where his appearance on ads is not exactly right. He only joined the company to make his father happy. But maybe it’s time he stepped into the business side of things and exit the modelling world. Bonus: no more Lila!
Edna snorted, “Though I must admit Gabriel surprised me with his newest model. Her attitude is lousy but she doesn’t strike me as a model. She just doesn’t have that model walk. But enough about the old man, my dear MDC, let’s talk about you. I love your gender-neutral line. And was wondering if you would like to join me in creating my next line of clothes for the Incredibles. A rare opportunity but I like style. Now take this offer before I change my mind.”
Marinette: wait, do I have to fly over or-
Edna: you are too excited, darling, but don’t worry, my assistants will send you the details.
Why are the Incredibles getting a new look? The kids are growing up and Edna wanted to move on to new styles.
As Marinette was flabbergasted, Audrey congratulated her for landing the job. Kagami and Adrien also beamed at her good fortune.
Even the Incredibles admitted they looked forward to working with her. Violet was a big fan.
Gabriel was seething and thought about akumatizing himself but come on, one villain against a room of superheroes? No thanks.
Drinking a glass of wine, he eventually admits that Edna had a point, however loudly and rudely it had been announced.
He would not be around forever and he wanted to leave the company in Adrien’s hands. In order for that to happen, his son needs to know business (if he can’t design, he can hire designers)
And yes, Lila was a lousy model. She survived by shooting with professional models who managed to overpower her mediocre work. But a deal was a deal. Besides, her contract was only for a year.
After the gala, Adrien happily quit modelling (aka Lila) to spend more time with his father, learning about how to run a company.
Marinette and Edna proudly claimed credit for the fashionable Incredibles.
Violet also became the talk of the school for her MDC exclusives.
Lila had been humiliated on air. Alya hesitated but finally did her research. At the end, she collapsed over the ruined credibility of her blog. But she can still get revenge by informing the principal, Ms Bustier and Mrs Rossi what Lila lied about. The perks of being a class vice president for a busy class president is that she also has the contacts list for emergencies.
Considering how Lila framed Marinette, there would be no suspension or detention. Only expulsion. Good luck finding a new school when Edna’s gala was a global topic.
When Lila returned to school for her last week (it takes time to gather evidence and get the attention of busy adults), nobody wanted to talk to her or even exchange glances. She quietly kept to herself, hoping for this to blow over soon. She was still a model working for Gabriel. She could befriend other supermodels (as if. Like they would want to befriend her after Edna called her out)
Hell, even her jobs were down. Gabriel just told her to take test shoots to fill up her portfolio until the hype died down (aka her contract expired)
When Lila was expelled, she was ready to be akumatized into Chameleon again. Except one problem. Everyone avoided her like hell so how could she kiss her target. Even Adrien was told to stay away lest his reputation be tarnished.
Ok, I admit it. I was hit by “I’m no Angel” quotes as I wrote this. But seriously, does anyone feel weird at the idea of trying to become thinner when your weight is just right, all the while you know there are people out there even thinner than you are and are starving, not because they want to be stereotypically thin, but because they cannot afford food?
Serenade (Daniela Dimitrescu/Reader) Pt. 9
Fandom: Resident Evil: Village Rating: T for language + mentions of sensitive topics Warnings: Referenced past abuse. Does not go into detail. Notes: Longest Serenade chapter yet at 4k+ words! Bit of angst, majority is fluffy fluffer fluff though. Next chapter is maximum h*rny, with two versions depending on reader, uh, equipment. EDIT: Forgot to put title, like dumbass. Past Chapters: Pt. 1: Nocturne, Pt. 2: Overture, Pt. 3: Accelerando, Pt. 4: Toccata, Pt. 5: Poco a Poco, Pt. 6: Elegy, Pt. 7: Harmony, Pt. 8: Obbligato
Chapter 9: Berceuse
(Berceuse: A lullaby. Generally slow and undulating.)
One moment you’re playing the piano, lovingly demonstrating a song you’d like Daniela to learn, the next you’re blue screening as she places a teasing kiss to your neck. It takes all of your willpower to keep playing, improvising a way to end the song right then and there. Then you’re turning to Daniela, eyes wide, blushing hard. She’s giggling. When she regains her composure, you give her a confused expression.
“I’m pretty sure this is the first time you’ve made real eye contact with me all morning. What gives?” She asked, frowning slightly. Awkwardly rubbing the back of your neck, you avoid her gaze, doing little else than proving her point. This frustrates her, and she lets out an aggravated sigh. I should probably tell her what happened, you think, dreading the idea. Still, the two of you had been making an effort to communicate better. What kind of partner would you be if you didn’t tell her about her mother’s intervention?
“Okay, okay… I wasn’t sure how to bring this up, but if I’m being this obvious about it anyway…” You started, trailing off anxiously. In response, Daniela places one of her hands over yours, giving you a reassuring squeeze. Though your face somehow gets even redder, the action gives you the courage required to continue. “I had another progress update meeting with your mother yesterday. I was worried, since this was the first one where you weren’t present, but I didn’t- I mean, er… Fuck it, she knows you’re interested in me. Doesn’t think we’re already together, thank God, but she told me, and I quote, that my response should be ‘swift and uninterested’. What are-” before you can finish you’re cut off by a loud groan, followed by your girlfriend cradling her head in her hands. Yeah, you think, this is about what I expected.
“Of course she did! I can’t have anything nice,” Daniela snapped, having gone from ten to sixty real quick. You’re just glad that she wasn’t taking it out on the piano. “How would she even know about us? I only stare at you when she’s not looking!” Oh? Since when did she stare at you? Certainly if Lady Dimitrescu had noticed, you would have as well?... Then again, the few times where all three of you were in the same room usually involved you working while they chatted or ate together. Still, the idea of Daniela making heart eyes at you from across the room was enough to make you blush again. “Look, she’s probably making some assumptions. There’s no way she knows as much as she thinks she does, at least not about us. So let’s just be careful- ugh, I sound like Bela- and otherwise keep doing what we do. Alright, songbird?”
“If you’re sure, then so am I. Let’s try to focus on our lesson for now, though,” you replied, doing your best to sound confident. Hoping to add in a little reassurance, you give Daniela a quick peck on the cheek. Unsurprisingly she ‘dodges’, instead kissing you on the lips, but you hardly mind at all. When she pulls back she’s got a huge grin on her face.
“Lesson now, fun later, got it. Speaking of later… You and me, inside the library, right after lunch. I’ll tell mother we’re going over theory and key recognition, but really-” she leans in close, mouth barely an inch from your ear “it’s a date. Don’t worry about getting caught, I’ve already made sure that neither Bela nor Cassandra will interrupt.” Your heart skipped a few beats at her suggestion, and you had to admit… you were beyond excited for this. When was the last time you had gone on an actual date? Years ago, just a month before you left your hometown and moved to the village. That had been a date you’d spend the rest of your life regretting… then again, it was what made you leave in the first place. And if you hadn’t left, you’d have never met Daniela.
Maybe it hadn’t been that bad after all.
————————————
Four minutes past one in the morning, you shuffled nervously towards the library, with note cards in hand. Even if you weren’t really going to help Daniela study, you wanted to be prepared in case you bumped into anyone along the way. After all, this was the night shift, when most of the servants were up and about, accomplishing any tasks deemed ‘too noisy’ to be done while the manor occupants slept. Thankfully, the fact that lunch had just finished meant a fair amount of workers would be busy cleaning up the dining hall. In the end, you only passed one other servant, but it was the only one you hadn’t felt confident about running into: Daphne.
Despite your long-standing friendship (having known each other in the village, and being brought to the castle within the same week), you had yet to tell her about your relationship with Daniela. Which by itself wouldn’t have been too bad, if not for the fact that she could tell you were hiding something from her. This had, understandably, put a damper on your friendship. From her perspective, there was nothing you shouldn’t be able to tell her. Even you weren’t sure if you should be more honest, all things considered. There was no way she’d ever tell someone else about your situation. But if one day you got in trouble for lying to Lady Dimitrescu… and somehow someone figured out that Daphne knew too, well, she’d be just as fucked as you, if not more so. After all, there was a chance that Daniela’s affection for you would lead to a lighter punishment. Not that being exiled into the forest was much better than being flat out killed.
So when you saw Daphne heading towards you, you tried to get by with a simple smile and a brief wave.
“Aren’t you even going to say hi?” Daphne asked, tone stiff but filled with disappointment. It catches you off guard, to the point where you drop your note cards. Immediately you’re squatting down, gathering them up, taking the excuse not to look at your friend. She doesn’t move to assist, instead pausing in the hallway to watch you. “We were supposed to stick together, you know? But it’s like becoming Lady Daniela’s little plaything made you think you’re better than the rest of us. Better than me.” That last part was barely more than a whisper, and you freeze in place, hand still hovering over one of the cards. “I shouldn’t have said anything, it doesn’t matter. Just try not to get yourself killed, alright? I don’t want to be the one to clean up your corpse.”
“Daphne, wait, please!” You said, finally moving to your feet, blocking your friend’s path. When she looks at you, you can just barely make out tears in the corners of her soft blue eyes. “I’m sorry, really. I… I can’t tell you what’s going on because I can’t risk getting you in trouble. You’re my best friend, Daph, and I don’t want anything happening to you just because I was doing something reckless.”
“Do you really think I don’t know what’s going on between the two of you?” Daphne questioned, with a bitter laugh. She’s shaking her head in disbelief, even as you stare at her, shell shocked. “Maybe the others haven’t caught on yet, but I’ve seen the way she looks at you, and I’m not oblivious to the way you talk about her. I figured you’d tell me eventually… It’s been weeks, though. More than that, I mean seriously, don’t you think I’d go down for you in a heartbeat? There was a time where I was sure the two of us would do anything for each other, ride or die when the dying part was a guaranteed end to all of this. Something tells me that’s not the case anymore.” Now she refuses to meet your gaze, instead staring down at what few note cards still lay on the floor.
“That’s still the case, I promise. It’s hard enough to look past what our employers do to strangers. If they hurt you? I’d never dream of forgetting, let alone forgiving them,” you explained. It’s enough to make her look back up, but she’s far from smiling.
“If that’s the case, maybe I’m looking at the wrong signals. But I’ve got to go, and I assume you do too. Take care,” she said, before slipping past you as quickly as she can. Then you’re left to gather the last of your note cards, mind whirling. Cruel as the thought may be, you hoped that this wouldn’t ruin the mood for your date. The best your mind could do to cope was focus on one thing at a time…
————————————
“Are you sure this is safe? I can’t even remember how many times I’ve been told to keep this door shut, under the threat of, you know, losing my life,” you called out, hanging out in the doorway. Beyond you by a few meters was Daniela, who twirled about with laughter, reaching out to catch a few falling leaves. This was the entrance to the garden, as far as you could tell. Not to be confused with the vineyard, which was larger, as well as on a completely different side of the estate. You had never been to either, seeing as only a select few servants were allowed to leave the manor. If Daniela hadn’t made it seem like you’d be staying in the library, well, you probably would have protested a little, regardless of how badly you wanted to go on a real date. Even when you had met up with her, she hadn’t told you any details, just laughing and asking you to follow her.
“Don’t be a baby! We’re still a few weeks away from autumn, and besides, you’re here with me! What could possibly go wrong?” Daniela asked, sending you a cheeky grin before dashing off into the garden proper. For a moment you’re left on the threshold, a picnic basket in your arms, wondering what the season had to do with your safety. Then you sigh, figuring that it couldn’t be that bad. Hadn’t your girlfriend mentioned this to Bela, anyway? Certainly the responsible older sister would have stepped in if something genuinely dangerous had been suggested? Well, you hoped as much, at least. With that in mind you close the door behind you, then dashed towards where Daniela had gone. Even as you round the corner, you don’t see her, and suddenly you’re nervous as hell. Before you can call out to her, the sound of rustling leaves catches your attention. Suddenly something jumps out at you! “Rah! Gotcha, babe!”
Ah, of course it was your girlfriend, clearly pulling a leaf from Cassandra’s book. You playfully smack her arm in response, trying to ignore the way your heart pounded. Humorous intentions aside, she had legitimately scared you, and you had nearly dropped your basket in response. Before you can say as much, Daniela’s hooking her arm in yours so she can pull you further into the gardens.
“You’re lucky you’re so fucking cute, firefly,” you muttered, a tad grumpy now. Most of your irritation was false, however, intended to tease your girlfriend. For a moment she doesn’t seem to realize that, and she stops in place. Once her eyes meet yours she understands what’s going on. Then she’s grinning, sticking her tongue out at you, and continuing down the path. Soon enough you’re approaching a paved brick circle. All around it, minus where it meets the walkway, are various flowers in bloom. Past the flowers are bushes, and past those are trees, whose branches provide a canopy for the circle. “Wow… and I thought you were pretty,” you teased, admiring the view.
As soon as the words leave your mouth, Daniela lets out an offended scoff, before taking the basket from you. Wordlessly she opens it up to grab the blankets within, spreading them without sparing you a glance. Now it’s your turn to wonder whether or not her anger is just a joke. Hoping so, you help her smooth out the blankets, making sure the two of you have ample space to spread out. At one point both of you reach for the basket at the same time, and she just grabs your hand instead, squeezing it. Next thing you know she’s pulling you down onto the blankets, rolling on top of you.
“Come here often?” She asked. Then, unsurprisingly, the two of you kiss. Both of your arms wrap around her waist, holding her as close as you can. One of her hands cups your cheek, the other resting on the ground to support herself, for ‘optimal makeout angles’. It’s a minute of bliss before she has to pull back for air. Instead of pulling away entirely, she shifts down a notch, resting her head against your chest. “Mmm… so comfortable. I could just… fall… asleep…” Daniela murmured, pretending to be sleepy. You can’t help but laugh, chest obviously shaking in as you do. “No! Pillows aren’t supposed to vibrate.”
“Are you sure about that?” You asked, only laughing harder.
“They don’t talk, either,” Daniela replied, huffing as she does. When you keep laughing, she rises to a sitting position, much to your disappointment. “So you have chosen death? So be it. I’ll just eat these candies myself, then.” With that said, she digs into the picnic basket, retrieving a bag of chocolates. Pouting, you reach out to try and yoink one away from her. Rather deftly, she pulls them away, sticking her tongue out at you before tossing a couple in her mouth. Determined, you surge forward, trying to catch her off guard, only to (somehow) end up face down in her lap. “Exactly like I planned, songbird. Now get comfy, alright?”
One of her hands trails fingers through your hair as you semi-awkwardly roll over. Now you’re facing up, watching your girlfriend practically inhale a few pieces of chocolate. But now she seems more inclined to share. She plucks one more from the bag, offering it to you by holding it in front of your mouth. Gladly you open up, and she drops the chocolate, before giving you a small ‘boop’ on the nose. Both of you laugh, then, a sound that sparks warmth in your chest. This was… nice. Relaxing. Not only were the two of you allowed to be as open with your affection as you wanted, it was the first time in ages that you had actually been outside, able to enjoy the sunlight.
Several minutes pass by like this, with Daniela feeding you (and herself) candies, both of you taking time to appreciate the scenery. Eventually the bag of chocolates becomes close to empty, and you see your girlfriend have an ‘oh crap’ moment.
“I was going to save some of these for you to smuggle into your quarters, damn it… guess you’ll just have to refuse to share, babe,” she said, shrugging a little. Then she sets the bag aside, now devoting both of her hands to playing with your hair. “Guess I’ll just have to find something else to keep my tongue occupied. Know any volunteers?”
“Hmm… I would, but it’s reeeaaaaaallllllly comfortable down here,” you teased in reply. Suddenly her hands are taken out of your hair, and you can just barely see that they’re positioned on her hips. She’s pouting at you, very similar to how you’ve seen her mother do, yellow eyes betraying her mischief. What exactly did she have planned?
“Really, songbird? I take you out, give you a wonderful place to rest, hand feed you chocolates… and you won’t even kiss me? When was the last time you even got to do something like this?” She asked, perking an eyebrow. The question is innocent enough. The answer, however, is not. Even with your head in her lap, you cannot fight off the brief sense of panic as your mind flashes into the past. It takes a deep breath, a few blinks, and a reassuring touch from Daniela for you to calm back down. “Songbird?... Hey, hey, it’s okay, I didn’t- I don’t know what happened. But we don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to, we can just…” She trails off, sounding unsure of herself, and you feel a pang of guilt. Was it finally time to come clean?... Yeah, yeah it was.
“It’s fine, I promise. I just… I need to sit up for this,” you explained, begrudgingly rising out of her lap. But she doesn’t let you pull away entirely, a hand guiding you to sit right up against her. Then she gently wraps an arm around you. Leaning into her touch, you rest your head on her shoulder, closing your eyes for a few seconds. “It’s kind of a long story, firefly… But this has happened often enough that I need to tell you. At least part of it. So, well… When I was younger, I, uh, I read a lot of romance novels, watched a lot of movies. Not even the good ones, really. And I didn’t- I couldn’t think through them. Couldn’t analyze it the way I needed to. So I didn’t get a good grasp of what a healthy relationship looked like. My, uh, my folks weren’t keen on demonstrating one for me, either…
“Before I came to the village, I was, well, uh, the thing is you might not like this part? And you’re not gonna like the next part, either. Just… listen to the end, please,” you pleaded, waiting for an acknowledgment before continuing. “I was engaged, as in to be married, to a woman I had known for most of my life. We were neighbors, and had gone to school together, and everyone thought we were the cutest couple. Hell, for the longest time I thought that. We weren’t, though. She was-” Daniela tenses a bit, though remains silent- “manipulative, sometimes aggressive. Anytime there was an argument, she made herself into the victim, told me that I was crazy. She wanted to make all the decisions about our relationship for me, and I just… I didn’t question it. Not even after she proposed, when my only reason for saying yes was because we were in public, with friends, and she clearly assumed that I’d agree. I tried to tell her that I wasn’t ready, that maybe we were going too fast, but she tuned me out.
“I didn’t even think about running until our final date. That was the first, and the only, time that she ever… that she ever-” a few tears spill from the corners of your eyes- “got physical with me. She’d broken things before, for sure, but I never thought she’d hurt me.” Daniela rubs your back gently, her breathing a little shaky. Evidently she hated hearing about this as much as you hated talking about it. Somehow that made it a little easier to talk through. “The next day she had to work early, so I just packed up my things, went over to my parents’ house and told them what happened. For once they actually agreed, if you can believe it. Told me to get the hell out of town, said that they’d deal with my fiance, and our relatives, so that I didn’t have to worry about anything when I came back. It was less than a full day before I drove away from everything I had ever known, promising my folks that someday I’d be back. Didn’t settle down until half the continent was behind me, not ‘til I was here at the village.”
There were a couple moments of silence as Daniela waited to make sure you had finished talking. Then she’s kissing the top of your head, shaking a little more noticeably now, murmuring reassurances that you can’t quite understand. Again you lean into her touch, indescribably thankful for her comforting presence. Fuck, you think, I probably ruined the date… so much for spending quality time with my lil firefly. When the silence breaks, it does so softly, slowly, a careful opening rather than a forceful push.
“Why would you give me a second chance? After what I did to you?” Daniela asked, voice barely audible, her head still resting atop yours. It’s not the response you expected. Not in the slightest. You pull away slightly, to look her in her eyes, heart aching at the tear stains on her cheeks. Even though you want to give her an answer that will bring her peace, your mind draws little more than a blank. Why had you given her a chance? You had wanted to be with her, without doubt, even before Cassandra and Bela intervened. Even after every time that she reminded you of your past…
“I-I don’t know. Maybe I haven’t learned anything from what’s happened,” you started, uncertainty clear in your tone. “Or maybe it’s because you looked… regretful. You didn’t enjoy what you did, and I saw it in your eyes. And… and then you did something about it. If you hadn’t shown remorse, or if I genuinely believed that you might do something like that again, we wouldn’t be here right now. I mean, in that case your sisters probably would have killed me for turning you down, but that’s not entirely relevant right now, is it?” You’re rambling a little, stuttering over your own words. Still, somehow it makes Daniela laugh, and relief floods your chest. Soon enough you’re curled up against her once more.
“Hey,” she said, after a minute of comfortable silence. “Thank you for showing me what romance is supposed to be.” Then she’s leaning in for a kiss, and you’re responding eagerly, unable to stop yourself from smiling. This time it’s your hand that runs through her hair as you pull her in as close as you can. To your surprise, she does pull away a tad earlier than usual. But there’s a grin on her lips, and she looks satisfied as hell. “Definitely more of that, soon. There’s just one more thing we have to do, to make this date perfect, you know? I may or may not have, kind of, written you something? You’re not allowed to laugh, though!”
“When have I ever laughed at you?” You asked, teasing, literally laughing as you speak. In response, Daniela scowls, making a point to look away in feign protest. “Joking, joking… I’ve just, you know, never had someone write me something before. Kinda don’t know how to react, really. Other than blushing real hard-” which you were doing- “and trying to play off my excitement with humor. But I promise I won’t laugh, even if you start with something like ‘roses are red, violets are blue’ or end with something like ‘just us in bed, doing the do’. Please tell me that’s not what you wrote, though?”
“Now that you mention it, maybe that should be what I recite. Sounds exactly like the sort of thing that would get me laid,” Daniela joked, rolling her eyes at you. Then she’s tugging a loose piece of paper out of the picnic basket, unfolding it to reveal a well-worn surface and hand-written text. She hesitates for a moment, glancing up at you, before taking a deep breath. When she speaks it’s clear just how nervous she is. But with every line she gains a measure of confidence, by the end acting her usual confident self.
Step from the shadows, weary corners of my mind Encased in old thoughts, brought into new life Like ashes rising from tombs housing the divine
Spinning webs as I descend, from the cradle of heaven From the dead I have risen, blessed be the gift I’m given Only from your haunting call do I embrace living
Catching the corners of my lips turning up All my years I’ve felt, but never this much Quietly writhing, begging for your softest touch
The pursuit of unintentional romance left abandoned Whispering love-locked tales to be consumed Sweeter than every facade I have ever imagined
Come closer now, into my arms, heart embraced Trailing fingers over scars, sewing lines traced Tell me love, “we shall last until the end of days”
At first, all you can do in response is stare at her, expression filled with affection. Inside your chest your heart was racing, and you couldn’t remember the last time you felt this warm. Reaching out, you take one of Daniela’s hands in your own, grinning as soon as her gaze meets yours. Both of you are blushing rather hard. Then she sets the poem down, eyes never leaving yours for even a second. You try to stutter out a few words, but find your tongue tied, and so you settle for placing your forehead against hers. The two of you stay like that for a few loving moments. When you part, it is only to come back together, this time in a tight hug.
“One helluva date, yeah?” Daniela asked, looking incredibly proud of herself. You can’t help but nod enthusiastically in response, honestly happier than you had felt in years. “Well, I will have to let you get back to work soon, unfortunately… but we have a few minutes, at least. Besides, having to part will only make tonight all the more sweeter.” At that you pause, confused, tilting your head to the side. Realizing that she must have gotten ahead of herself, Daniela blushes before elaborating. “You, me, my room. Tonight, right after your shift ends.”
You could hardly wait.
Heyy! Can you do one where Harry loves to have his mark on y/n by cumming on her and he has a public hair kink. He loves the dense Matt if her pubic hair so to mark her he always cums on her hair and everything they lazily lounge around he loves to just slip his hand inside her shorts and play with her hair pubic hair.... something like that pleasee
Hair
Based Off Of This Ask
A/N: I have no idea why, but I just love this concept so much. It’s a strong combo of smut and fluff…but mostly smut. And I’m adding this to ‘A Series of Firsts’! Mainly because being accepted in this way may in fact be a first time for a lot of people, and this does involve ‘Y/n’ after all. Also, I’m sorry for slacking off on this series…my writing “go to’s”, schedule, and motivation have shifted drastically so I’ve been neglecting this baby for a lil bit…but now she’s back and better than ever. Enjoy 🙃
You could honestly say that when it came to being “hair down there” positive, Harry hands down took the top spot. At first you couldn’t believe it. You couldn’t believe that, you were lucky enough to have a partner who could care less about whether or not you had a bit of a bush down there. In the past, you’ve been shamed for not taking care of this “ultra-sacred” ritual that was shaving, and you were made to feel like you were in the wrong for not caring much about it. Along with being made to feel ashamed of your pubic hair, you were also neglected. After a couple times of being turned away because you weren’t clean shaven down there, you just learned to get by on your own. And to be completely honest, pleasuring yourself wasn’t bad at all. But even though this was the case, you still felt a little down at times when you thought about how you were deemed untouchable if you had a bush of the sorts.
Now it’s not like you were completely against shaving and you’ve decided to write it out of your life completely. That’s not the case at all. It’s just that since shaving had been proven to be a bit of a task for you, you tended to put it off until you finally mustered up enough motivation (and energy…you heard it right, a lot of energy was needed for this) to drag yourself into the bathroom and meticulously shave down there. And even when you did eventually carve out the time to take care of some bush maintenance, you would often decide to leave a bit on and just make things a bit neat. Eventually enough though you were able to get into some sort of shaving regimen and it lasted a pretty good while.
Fast forward to your relationship with Harry and you were still keeping it going. This was mostly due to the fact that you and Harry were having round the clock sex. And it was some really good sex. There wasn’t a time where he wasn’t touching or inside of you. Now while you and Harry were beyond happy together, you still had a bit of your guard still up. Even though he’d proven himself to be one of the sweetest and most amazing human beings on the planet, you were still a bit nervous. You worried yourself over the idea that if you were let yourself go down there for even a second, you were going to be deemed untouchable by Harry. And that’s the last thing you wanted. You were the happiest you’d ever been when in a relationship and you were afraid losing that. So you kept up with your shaving regimen and you made sure to keep it nice and hairless down there.
Now you kept up with a solid routine for shaving, and it lasted a pretty good while. But a pretty good while does not mean forever. One week when it was time for your routine “maintenance”, you were completely out of it. You were not feeling it at all and your routine fell by the wayside. You would say that you would do it the next time you took a shower and you’d keep on saying it up until a week and a half went by. And in that time, Harry noticed some shifts in how you normally were. For starters, you started wearing pants to bed. You never wore pants to bed. The only bottoms you’d have on your body would be a pair of panties, but out of the blue you were wearing your pajama bottoms as well. Another thing he noticed was the fact that you weren’t letting him touch you down there or even push his hand into your panties just because the way you used to. Normally you’d be fine with him touching you or resting his hand down there. In fact, you’d sometimes pull his hand down there yourself. But now you were putting a halt to that. The third and final thing that was a bit of a flag raiser to Harry was that you weren’t letting him shower with you. Normally you’d keep the door open if you didn’t mind him coming in or you’d even pull him into the bathroom with you. But instead, you were closing the door behind you and when Harry would try to come in, you’d close the door and tell him that you wanted to take this one by yourself. Harry was all for giving you your space and respecting your wishes, but he began to wonder if it was something that he had done. The last thing he ever wanted was to make you uncomfortable and cause you to distance yourself from him. He just wanted to love on you again and be close to his girl. That’s all. And after about a week and a half of you acting out of the ordinary, Harry decided that it was time to break the ice and figure out what was going on.
He’d finished up taking care of some laundry that had to be done and all he wanted to do was relax with (and hopefully inside) you. Once he comes back into the bedroom, his eyes go straight to you. You were lying on the bed scrolling through your phone with one of his t-shirts on and a pair of sweats. Under normal circumstances you’d simply have his shirt on and a pair of panties. Harry makes his way over to the bed, crawls right across it, and right on top of you. When he does this, your attention is immediately diverted from your phone to him and you toss it beside you to focus on him. Instead of wasting any time, Harry goes straight in and pushes his lips down onto yours. Your arms then go around his neck to pull him down closer to you, and before you know it the two of you are locked into a make-out session that was getting to be a bit heated. As the kisses continue you feel Harry’s hand begin to wander a bit, he starts off by going down and under your shirt. At first you don’t pay it any mind. But after a couple squeezes to your breasts and to your waist, Harry’s hand migrate a it lower. It makes it’s way all the way down to the waistband of your sweats to which you quickly stop. Upon you stopping him in his tracks, Harry stops his movements against you all together and pulls himself up a bit. He then proceeds to sit back on your thighs, still keeping himself on top of you.
“Harry you’re gonna crush me.” You whine, trying to push him off of you.
“Are you calling me fat?! Is my girlfriend seriously calling me fat?!” Harry shouts dramatically.
“No…I’m saying that if a much heavy person sits on top of someone, then it is likely that the other person will be crushed.” You reason smartly.
“Well if you don’t want to be crushed, you’re gonna have t’tell me what’s going on.” Harry bargains, crossing his arms over his chest and sending you a pointed look.
“Nothing’s going on, what are you talking about?”
“You won’t let me touch you, you’re constantly wearing pants, and you’re not letting me save water with you.” He explains with a small pout. Once he says this, you immediately see what he’s getting at. When he sees you break the eye contact and falter a little bit, Harry decides to take a step back and be a bit more gentle with this one. He picks himself up from your thighs and shifts over onto the bed next to you, propping himself up on his elbow to keep his attention on you. “You can talk t’me about anything baby, m’always her to listen.” Harry reminds gently, bringing his free hand over to grab your hand.
“I know, and I love you for that. It’s just that- I haven’t shaved.” You rush out. Even though you weren’t in the most comfortable position, it was nice to finally say it.
“That’s it?!” Harry asks, completely shocked.
“Mhm.” You quietly mumble, turning your head towards him to see his reaction.
“Babyyy!” Harry coos, swinging his leg onto the other side of you and falling back on top of your body. “That’s why you’ve been hidin’ from me?” Harry asks, looking down towards your slightly downcast face.
“I thought you’d be turned off by it.” You explain. “In the past, I was untouchable if I had hair down there.”
“M’so sorry baby. And you’re far from being untouchable! I could care less whether or not you have hair down there. All I want is you.” Harry affirms. “And if you like my bit of hair, then I love yours. I actually prefer it.” Harry continues, his voice coming to a whisper at the last part.
“For real!?” You ask, completely shocked at his response.
“Yeah, but if you still want to shave I’m 1000% fine with that. I just want you to know that I love you. And since I love you, I love all of you, hair and all.” Harry reassures once more before leaning down to press a sweet kiss to your lips. “So does this mean I can touch you again, because I’ve been deprived of you for a whole week.” He needed you bad, it was a really long week.
“Yes Harry, my pussy is no longer in quarantine.” You huff amusedly at his question. He is such a boy. Well…a very mature boy.
“Also, where are we at? Is it like a light layer, or full on 70’s pornstar?” Harry wonders. “I’m fine with either one…m’just wondering.” Harry quickly clarifies.
“Why don’t you just investigate!” You give in dramatically, completely worn out by his interrogation.
“I will.” Harry replies excitedly, quickly moving himself from on top of you to between your legs to conduct his little investigation. And let’s just say that he was in love with his findings.
From the moment Harry ripped off your sweats, he felt like he was in heaven. Not only because he was between your legs again, but also because he could see a couple curly little hairs poking out from beneath the lower bands of your panties. And once they came off, Harry thought he was going to faint. In that moment Harry was fully coming to terms with his pubic hair kink, and you hadn’t even achieved a full bush yet. You were absolutely stunning down there, hair or not, but Harry was completely loving the hair and he was really hoping that you wouldn’t shave it all off. That’s why from that point on, he made sure to give you everything he had so that you could be confident in his feelings. He wanted you to let yourself go and just enjoy the pleasure he had in store for you and not worry about whether or not your pubic hair is a turn on, because it definitely was. Harry loved everything about it
For starters, you were even wetter than usual. Normally you’d be sopping wet and your folds would be glistening and all sticky with your sweet arousal. Ever since you went back to just letting it grow and tidying it up a little, you managed to be even wetter. When your arousal formed, it would seep out of your hole and your hairs would collect it all. This meant that when Harry got between your legs, the cute little damp spot that would form in your panties was bigger, and it meant that your arousal covered all of you. Before he even touches your hole, he’d lick up all of your arousal. He’d lick and suck all of you until there was no more of your sticky and delicious arousal on those hairs. He would then pull your pussy apart and just lick into you like normal, except while he fucked you with his tongue, he’d tug on those curly hairs that clung to your pussy lips creating a little tension and only intensified the feeling of his tongue moving against you. While he was down there, Harry also loved pushing the hair back a bit to suck on your clit. He just loved how the hair would cover your little button, and he loved how it would peak through a bit if you were really on need of him.
The next thing that completely sucked Harry in was the way the hair felt against his cock. It was amazing to say the least. Before pushing into you, he’d always drag the head of his cock up and down your folds. Everything about it was incredible, even when he kind of humped you a little, pushing his cock up and down against you. And whenever he got all the way down to his balls, he’d make sure to circle around a little bit because he loved the way your hair felt against his sensitive balls. And then once he finally pushes inside, Harry really goes crazy. Not only is he pushing into your delicious cunt, he can also feel your hairs brushing against his shaft as he sinks into you. And as he fucks into you, it’s as heavenly, if not more heavenly than before. You’re still sopping wet and falling apart over his cock and you’re still tighter than he could wrap his head around. While he’s pounding you over and over again, along with his other tricks, Harry likes to just run a hand over your hairs. While pinching the upper flesh of your pussy, Harry likes to just play and pull at the hairs a little. As he does this, he also brings his hand lower and he lightly pulls at the hairs that are on either side of your spread pussy. Those are the super sensitive ones. Once it’s time for him to let go Harry always faces a problem. He can’t decide on where he wants to cum. He can’t get enough of flooding your tummy with his cum, but he also loves pulling out and cumming in your hair. Marking you was always a must for him. So after cumming a bit inside of you, which is a lot since Harry’s cock is like a volcano and just can’t stop spurting out his cum, he pulls out of you and pouts the rest out onto your hair. He liked seeing the hairs stick together with his cum and he loved seeing you stained with him.
One final thing (of the many things) Harry loved about your pubic hair was that he got to play with it. Normally he’d slip his hand into your panties and just hold your pussy so to speak. He’d just cup you or squeeze your pussy lips or even tickle you a bit. Now that you let your hair grow, he got to play with your pussy and the hair. He got to push the tips of his fingers around and tug at your hair. He couldn’t get enough of just playing with you whenever the two of you were lounging around or something. He even caught you playing with your hair a couple times. And when he did, he would get all pouty and push your hand away so that he could play with it. He especially loved playing with your hair when he just came all over you. He loves to smear his cum all over you. He would even stick a finger inside your cum filled hole and smear the creamy substance on his finger all over you to mark your hair even more.
To put it simply, the both of you were in love with this newly discovered kink and it was really nice. It was very freeing too.
