i very much do not care for the way peta did “investigative journalism” to “expose” the “evil” “truth” about halal and kosher slaughter.

Especially because some European countries are outlawing both.

This isn’t new, and I’m far from the first one to point it out, but it is absolutely something people need to continue to pay attention to. It’s absolutely being done to attack and dismantle core elements of Jewish and Islamic culture, and it’s being done to sway the Christian public into seeing Jews and Muslims as evil animal torturing savages.

This is an attempt at ethnocide. Enforced assimilation or prosecution. And I will further caution that ethnocide rarely travels without its partner, Genocide.

Don’t let this narrative spread. Learn what these practices entail and why. It is done to minimize discomfort to the animal. While it looks messy to some, it causes very little pain to the animal and death is swift. It follows very specific protocols for a reason. It is forbidden to eat food that was slaughtered poorly and suffered unnecessary pain or fear. If I were raising livestock for human consumption, I would use a similar method to cull simply because a brain can react differently to a stun gun but a throat will tend to react the same to a blade every time.

A practice not looking aesthetic enough for evangelical sensibilities does not mean it’s cruel. People naturally fear the unknown and this is very transparently being weaponized against marginalized groups

Okay not to add to the Yandere Whit suspitions (yandere is not fully accurate but it's closest to it) kind of going on but uhm I've realized that Whit's loneliness is extremely emphasized in the story to a point that makes me kind of worried.

Let me list all of the points in the story that emphasizes his loneliness :

-"Do you get lonely ?" A thing Whit asks Teruko when she talks about her past, it's one of the very few times we see him actively seeming sad.

-His quote relating to Mai is "A girl with many friends", considering how most of these quotes are meant to be reversed this hints that Whit didn't have a lot of friends if any

-Whit's mom is dead and his dad is distant, alongside the fact he has no sibling he's pretty much constantly alone in his house.

-Whit is constantly referenced as searching for love but not finding any, it's in his bio and DRDTdev has made a joke about it. His birthday is literally set in Singles Awareness day.

It honestly might also be why Whit reacts so strangely to things ? If he was so isolated his entire life to the point of barely having any relationships in any form it would maybe explain his odd behaviors during executions. I don't know how being alone your entire life would fuck you up psychologically but it would eventually considering we're social creatures.

It would also explain a potential obsession with Charles because well, if it's the first time in your life someone has truly spent time with you and appreciated you as a friend you'd also become very attached.

I need everyone to know that speedsters are allergic to nanobots.

No, seriously. They're allergic to nanobots.

Speedsters have absolutely insane metabolisms, which means that they have an absolutely insane immune system. They don't get sick. Ever. Their immune system works at warp speed and takes out germs the second they enter their body. Call germs 'the Rogues' because they're getting tackled by super speedy blurs before they can even think about causing issues.

Okay, so they have a great immune system and don't get sick ever. What does this have to do with nanobots?

Great question! When nanobots are injected into a speedster's body their immune system sees them as a threat. Only problem? It doesn't matter how fast or efficient their immune system is, their body can't destroy a bunch of tiny metal robots.

Because their bodies can't fight off the nanobots they start to display typical cold/flu symptoms instead. Vomiting, fever, runny nose, coughing, being tired, ect. The nanobots aren't causing this reaction. Their own immune system causes this reaction. The fever is the bodies attempt to kill off the 'germs'. The vomiting, runny nose and coughing is the body's attempt to expel the 'germs'. They feel tired because their body is putting everything into fighting off the 'infection'.

In a normal person the nanobots wouldn't even be an issue because they'd be able to avoid detection. They can't avoid detection in a speedster body because their immune systems are dialled up to 500 out of 10.

As a result you get instances like this:

Just an FYI for people because this is extremely fun and versatile information. Especially because none of the speedsters are really aware of this and it doesn't kick in right away. I could totally see a situation where a mission requires nanobot injections and mid mission the speedster goes down out of nowhere. It's also great if you want to do a stereotypical sick fic or something and want to get around that pesky speedster immunity.
