Here's a fun little Project Sekai fact! Almost all of your faves have appropriated other cultures as costumes and some have even done blackface. If you're supporting this game and refusing to make a meaningful statement about it beyond "b-b-but i said it was bad! 🥺", you are fucking racist.

You're either anti-racist, or you're a pro-seka blog. Choose one. You can't be both.

Basically everything is problematic and actually I have criticised the cultural appropriation and racism present in the game multiple times, at no point have I refused to acknowledge it (and you’re not the first person to send an anon in). You can play the game and be anti-racist actually it’s called being critical of the media you consume and having social awareness, we’ve been over this. Everything is problematic you probably like problematic media too.

Yeah the game did revival my dream and that was fucking racist, the costumes are stereotypical and they didn’t research into any specifc native culture they just wanted to make something that would get them money. it’s not princess mononoke put the trained costumes next to each other, the trained costumes are heavily stylised to look "pretty and fashionable" and forego accuracy. I’m aware of that, I’ve said this before multiple times but you wouldn’t know that because you just randomly came here to send me this message.

Then there's also the kamikou sports fes set. Luka's qipao is very obviously altered for the sake of fanservice which is just so wrong, do not sexualise other cultures for money. Rui's I think is meant to be some sort of military hanfu? But quite stylised, which again for someone outside the original culture to stylise a traditional outfit just is a no-go because you will probably get things wrong. Mizuki's outfit seems to be based on Qi-lolita and there's a whole thing surrounding that about whether you should wear it if you aren't chinese.

and then there's the island panic cards which are both orientalist. yes, not just the boys, the girls too. the outfits aren't based on any specific culture and just mishmash different swana and south asian cultures and stereotypes together to make something that looks "exotic".

If you notice a recurring thing is that all of these are in some way wxs related, and wonder why that is, it’s because they’re the theatre unit. They wear costumes, these are just cultures being appropriated as stage outfits, because the devs don’t care they just want a quick bit of money.

all of these are horribly common in idol games and gacha games, not just project sekai, and it's important to recognise the problems rather than just blindly consuming it. If it makes money, devs will continue to include ca, recognise that.

and yeah puchiseka episode 6 happened at no point have i ever denied that. it should have never happened but it did and at the very least the fandom was able to rally together and get sega to take it down. even after they did that sega and clpl should still be held accountable for even letting it be released. while they didn't make the episode, that was entirely handled by an external company (who should also be held accountable for their actions - we're never getting a second season for a reason), sega still released it knowing full well the contents. it wasn't ganguro like people said it was extremely clearly based on a very racist and crude interpretation of african tribes, and for part of a joke no less. It was disgusting. And it’s not ganguro like how people defend it; ganguro is part of the gyaru subculture and the outfits in that episode were not that. there is no defence for what happened. at the very least, it was impressive that the fandom called out the episode and actually got staff to listen and learn. that doesn't happen in other games, and we managed to do it again with rmd. the fanbase is calling the game out and actually educating staff. It’s just critical consumption - fans of the media were able to recognise that the episode was racist and correctly called out management with enough of a voice to make staff correct their mistakes. They apologised, it’s not my apology to accept, and I still hold them accountable for the fact it even happened.

This probably all makes me sound like a white saviour, and I don’t want to speak over the people affected by this, but that’s what you wanted, isn’t it? You probably have me blocked already and never followed me in the first place, but if you really wanted to call out racism, then maybe you should’ve sent this to blogs that do turn a blind eye to the flaws in this game, not one that calls them out. Why just me? Was it because of the username, because you’re not the first person to make that quip. I know you won’t see this anon, but a word of advice. Most media is problematic one way or another, you can enjoy something but still be aware of and acknowledge its problems. Project sekai is not made with the intent of encouraging or funding harmful behaviour, yet it still includes some harmful content. Call it out, educate staff and tell them not to do it again, they listened once they can do it again.

Neo Edo magnetic "holsters"

so today/yesterday I started thinking....

what a cool detail the magnetic "holsters" - knobs and stripes are. A very unique design idea for the setting they went with (basically energy-punk or a kind of close-futuristic sci-fantasy)

for example, Gen has large magnet strips on his back, but also on the front of his vest?

The back strips are bigger, while the front strips I'm not entirely sure about, but they are slightly smaller and thinner, so it could be that they are something else, like pockets.

Chizu's appears to have dual magnetic strips on both her pants, her jacket lapels at the bottom, as well as a bigger/stronger magnet triangle on her back, assuming for her polearm, then later for her bow. The strips on her pants could also be just re-enforcing

The other Neko Ninja also appear to have magnets on their armor's backs and hip-pieces. (more longer images under cut)

Kitsune does not appear to have any magnets on her body? but she has a belt which she has a small pouch on and her belt goes around enough times that it could be easy to store her first set of tessen on her back.

Usagi's are small magnets on his obi, both the yoyo and sword have space to fit, one on either side. The sword is always on the left side, so that Usagi can draw it fast enough with his right hand without hurting himself by accident (at least, according to how sword-carrying became tradition during the Edo-era, the show is fairly consistent about this way the swords are carried)

From the first episode with Usagi, we see that the magnets appear to be strong enough that they lock onto the metal of the weapon long enough that the user can remove their fingers from holding the weapon.

Overall, it's a super-interesting feature in the city! Other characters also have these magnets on their outfits/armor - you can pause any shot and see that characters have something magnetic/metallic on their body, with (I think) the exception of Karasu-Tengu and auntie, and the regular citizens of Neo Edo. So here for example the Keisatsu and Lord Kogane.

Most notably, one of the keisatsu guarding Usagi in ep 102, a set of keys dangles from it and we later find out it's this keisatsu's apartment keys haha.

Usagi waits and holds to test the magnet on his left side when he is holstering his auntie's sword, and we see that the effect is quite strong. But then in ep 2, he just slaps the yoyo onto his other side un-ceremoniously, even though this one is directly given to him by a magic stone haha xD You'll notice how Usagi's magnets have some sort of inset inlay, and a glowing symbol inside it which appears to be his clan emblem. Perhaps this means that his obi, or the magnet inlays were once commissioned for one of his ancestors? Since auntie does not appear to wear one of these, maybe it was a direct heirloom to Usagi from one of his parents? Or maybe it was something specially made for when Usagi was a bit older? Could even be that Auntie had it made for one of Usagi's birthdays (good source of a fanfic plot hehe). The magnets are also shown to always glow purple, like the Ki-Stone, and so is Usagi's yoyo itself, when activating any of its abilities, but in this case, the lines on the two sides of the yoyo glow just like the inset on Usagi's weapon-holster magnets.

For other fighter groups in the series, the Mogura crew don't seem to use any visible(?) weapons, while the Bat Squadron have switchblades on the top of their wings/fingers(?), while on their backs they have parachute backpacks. The Neko Ninja appear to have no visible magnets, but possibly their entire armor has hidden magnets within? just a theory for now.

Now, while Usagi's obi and its magnets seem to be custom, could the rest of Usagi's outfit be too? possibly. It seems to be a very specifc combination of both samurai, ninja and farmer outfits, as well as practical application of what samurai used to travel lighter while staying protected. First of all, his vest is a kind of deep blue which according to some historic records, is hemophilic? meaning, it can hold in blood if the wearer is struck suddenly, and according to older beliefs, it even had some healing properties. The vest is tied together by the obi, and the shoulder-gaps/edges appear to have either wooden or leather guards attached to the vest, enforced by these peculiar rectangular (i've seen this kind of work before in woodwork workshops but cannot remember the exact name) Under this vest, he appears to have a light leather or wood breastplate for protectin and under this in turn, he has a dark blue/black undershirt. His pants appear to be in two parts. The first part being the dark blue pants he wears, and the second a patterned "pants cover" which attaches to his chest guard or armor under the vest via light blue clasps. [edit: 10.10.2023:] Still looking around for the basis of this, but this appears similar to some pants I've seen irl. This cover and the pants both seem to be either tucked into or covered by the leg guards Usagi wears. [end edit] Whatever 3rd undergarment he has connects with the blue sleeves he has, which are tied with strings similar to his auntie's sleeves, but these strings are only drawn and animated in the 2D sequences (for the sake of simpler animation, it seems, since Usagi appears in so many scenes and has many moving parts) Then he has dark blue arm guards and kneeguards, while the boot part of his shoes seem to be some harder leather or other material. Usagi, because of wanting to follow in the steps of his samurai ancestor, does not have any other magnetic holsters on his body.

Chizu and Gen also seem to have customized magnets, but of a different appearance. First of all obviously, their shape is rectangular longer or shorter strips, without inlays or emblems, and Chizu has her back-triangle magnet.

I've sometimes also wondered if Gen's emblem is also a magnet, tho this is less likely... The rest of his outfit is fashioned to protect his body enough to also be mobile. So his back magnet-strips are way larger and fit nicely there, enough for his kanabo to attach comfortably to it without falling off. He has a lighter and thinner looking metal plate over his chest, which is obviously armor with a dipping neckline which is colored a golden/bronze? while the bottom part is a deep indigo, covered with studs. Traditionally what these kinds of studs do, is that if someone hits you in the stomach area (one of the most vulnerable areas in an armed fight), the metal studs set in the plate should deflect metal weapon blows to the stomach. so that's interesting to see, Gen's outfit is very practical and he is obviously a bounty hunter who has been doing the job for a while, evidenced also by Gen's healed-over facial scars. A purple vest with a higher collar covers this armor partly. The vest is patterned with these outlined hexagons which have a smaller hexagon inside them. The sleeves of this vest are puffed up(?) and either tied to his arms or it's a rubber band inside the fabric of the light magenta strip of his sleeve. I cannot see that he has any magnets on his belt, which is otherwise tied around the latter-bottom part of his armor and pants. The armor near the belt and on the stomach bends upwards in a semi-trapeze shape toward the dipping neckline of the upper part of his armor. His shoulder pads, kneepads and armguards appear to be enforced leather. I can't remember the exact term for this, but you see that the shoulder parts have stronger leather strings going through the inner parts, possibly to strengthen the rest of the pads. His warclubs sit comfortably on his back on the larger magnet strips.

Chizu's outfit is obviously made for blending in as a civilian, while retaining mobility and flexibility as a ninja, so it's not metal/hard armor like the other Neko Ninja - but instead seems to be wooden/light armor made to look like the shapes on the shirts of other (the dipping rectangle), and undergarment (black) + red and black leather vest and pants. The strips blend in nicely with this sort of outfit, while also allowing Chizu to have many weapons besides the hidden ones she has, the ninja stars and the small crossbow in her gauntlets/hand guards. Chizu's back-magnet triangle meanwhile fits her outfit style exactly, with a black inlay and golden-color outer rim, sort of like Usagi's magnet, but with no inset. Perhaps it's not a magnet at all then? But it sorta makse sense to be a magnet still. In ep 2, she brings her collapsible naginata along and sets it on her back. So this is a running design element amont the characters of Neo Edo that they carry their weapons on these magnetic shapes - strips, circlets, triangles, etc

Kitsune has a very straight-forward outfit. She presents herself as an ordinary street performer while also stealing during her performances, skillfully enough that she doesn't need a helping hand in this. Her outfit consists of mostly greens, teals and on the leaf-prints of her kimono vest, we see that she has maple-leaf patterns in beige, orance and yellow tones, in homage to her namesake and inspiration, the Kitsune in the Usagi Yojimbo comics. Her belt goes around her waist 2 times, while the 3rd time sits more loosely around her left hip, carrying her leather pouch, possibly from weight, but also comfort. compared to the previous two, Kitsune's outfit seems less about hiding or being openly her profession and more about her feeling comfortable, being herself. This is also why she has different bracelets and bangles on her writsts. As with Usagi and Chizu, her clothings are closed in the traditional kimono 'y' shape, left over right side, but while Usagi has only his vest over his armor and undershirt, and Chizu's is just her undershirt, for Kitsune she has both a vest and dark green undershirt, meaning that she appears more casual and layered. Possibly, because of living on the streets, she is ready for any weather and these clothes might have more other practical applications. But also likely, she just feels comfortable in these warm clothes. It is spring after all at the start of the series (exactly the same day it aired, April 28th), so possibly the air is more brisk and Kitsune has kept this look for just a while. All this is more observation + fantheory, but otherwise, there seem to be no metal or magnetic parts on her body. She does not focus on fighting as much as the others and her modus operandi in fights seems to more self-defense, which is what her battle fans are meant for, a self-defense weapon. It's possible she could have hiding places on her open-toed boots for smaller weapons, but then again, I do not believe we've seen them used as such in the show.

Now I wonder how these magnet strips are produced and made at all... do they use the Ki-Stone to magnetize strips of metal somehow? There are many methods to make magnets irl, so I wonder which ones were used here to achieve this strong magnet effect together with the rest of the Ki-Stone's effects...

Anyway, this isn't a deep-dive about clothing, I just wanted to shortly write about the interesting element of magnet wepon-holders, because these seem a ki-stone specific magic/science, but I got a bit lengthy about the clothings anyway bc I like this show ^^

That discusses how while Victor is a lovable character he's a product designed to lure Courier Six into New Vegas. This post got my brain juices flowing so bad I made Tumblr glitch with how much I tried writing in the tags. So I had to make my own post.

I find it EXTREMELY interesting how all the AIs Mr. House created while fun and lovable are also products.

Jane being a copy of Mr. House's favorite girl a starlet he dated before the Great War. She's designed to entertain him similarly to how the workers at Gomorrah "entertain" customers.

Jane: "Mr. House has a lot of needs, sugar. I take care of all of them, and a lady doesn't kiss and tell."

There's also an emotional aspect to the services she provides him.

If he wanted her just for sex he wouldn't have specifcally scanned her brain. He could've gotten anyone. While famous Jane wasn't even a star but a starlet. A young actress with aspirations to become a star.

While he might have liked Jane's personality which is why he picked her. Ultimately their relationship was a business transaction.

Raul: "She said they never, um... don't make me spell it out, boss. Anyway, she said all he wanted to do was scan her brain and make her dress up in different outfits."

Mr. House scanned her brain to create an artificial relationship (separate from the real Jane) designed to satisfy his needs post Great War. Mr. House had the technology to save the real Jane but chose not to.

A lot of people also seem misunderstand the reason why Mr. House doesn't have sex with Jane. It's because he physically COULDN'T.

Ignoring cut content. Mr. House was already attached to the machine keeping him alive. He's connected to an Electrode-studded command helmet on the day of the Great War.

It's how Mr. House protected New Vegas:

Raul: "I remember there were some weird stories about him, especially near the end." NEAR THE END.

Mr. House takes Jane's personality to the EXTREME. Designing her to stoke and inflate his ego by being able to only say positive things about him. Jane is a product designed to provide Mr. House a service all while managing his snow globe collection. She doesn't even respond when the player says goodbye to her.

Then there's Mr. Vegas who was an AI created before the Great War. A charming DJ for Radio New Vegas to play music but also spread the news.

Mr. House also did to the same to the tribes by turning them into The Strip AKA a money making product.

He molds people into exactly what HE wants for his benefit.

The BIGGEST example of this was Benny! However that didn't work because Benny is human. Benny had his own ambitions and desires.

Mr House: "I have to think that he found out about the Platinum Chip and mistakenly convinced himself that he could use it to his own ends."

Mr. House even flat out admits it to the player.

Mr. House: "Benny has led the Chairmen ever since I recruited his tribe seven years ago. Until his recent misbehavior, I'd planned to make him my protege. Maybe if I'd begun grooming him sooner, none of this would've happened..."

Protege meaning a person who is guided and supported by an older and more experienced or influential person. He wanted to GUIDE Benny into a specific role. Which the player can even ask about.

Courier Six: "What use would you have for a protege?"

Mr. House: "To achieve my aims, I require a capable human agent to perform certain . . . tasks."

HE DOES THE SAME WITH COURIER SIX!!!

Testing them to see if they can get to New Vegas on their own.

ALSO during your first meeting with Mr. House this exchange can happen:

DON'T BE AFRAID TO ADMIT IT. HE'S TEACHING YOU!!!! HE'S GUIDING YOU INTO THE ROLE HE WANTS!!!

Mr. House: "You see that you and I are of a different stripe, don't you? We don't have to dream that we're important. We are."

While Mr. House may act like he's above feelings and relationships. HE'S NOT!!!! It's why the player's karma can affect his ending SO MUCH!!!!

A lot of people think Mr. House is an idiot for picking Benny but people forget Benny's drive. Hell just rewatch the intro cutscene where he shoots Courier Six.

Mr. House being human is also WHY he picks Benny despite Swanks being far more loyal. Swanks is an unimaginative employee.

MR. HOUSE LIKE'S BENNY'S PERSONALITY. HE NOT STUPID HE KNOWS WHAT BENNY PERSONALITY IS LIKE!!!

Mr. House: "I have a certain tolerance for greed. I expect my business partners to be self-interested - but smarty so."

However he misjudged Benny and even admits it.

Mr. House: "Obviously, I miscalculated his drive for supremacy."

In the Yes Man ending we learn.

Yes Man: "I found some code snippets in one of Mr. House's databanks that will let me, um, reprogram my personality! To be a little more assertive, basically!"

Meaning while small Mr. House has programming to allow characters like Victor and Jane free will. He WON'T use it though because he wants the specific services and relationships they provide him.

HE'S A WEIRDO CONTROL FREAK WHO ACTS LIKE HE'S ABOVE HUMAN EMOTIONS BUT HE'S NOT AND I LOVE IT!!!!

In the ending with high good karma it even says: "Mr. house afforded him/her every luxury at his disposal in the Lucky 38, out of gratitude - and a quiet sense of pride for his choice in lieutenants."

Of course because of his ego (look at the obituary that appears when he dies) but GRATITUDE. Spoiling Courier Six with all the luxuries he can provide doesn't sound like a basic employee and employer relationship he likes to act like what they have is.

Mr. House: "In any case... this is an employer - employee relationship. I've given you an assignment, and the directions are clear."

If you want to take the G.E.C.K script notes into consideration they even says:

Mr. House: ''You know, I've had thousands of employees in my time. Few met my expectations, fewer still surpassed them.'' {You know, I never had much time for a family - if I did, you'd be the daughter/son I wish I'd had. Benny was almost like a son to me, but well...}

Courier Six being loyal to Mr. House means so much more to him then he'd ever want to admit. EVEN AT THE END OF THE GAME WHEN THE PLAYER HAS FINISHED THEIR WORK AT THE SECOND BATTLE OF HOOVER DAM HE AUTOMATICALLY GETS EXCITED DISCUSSING THEIR NEXT PLANS!!!!!

You mention that aziraphale gives crowley a tartan thermos and and gives him reasons to live in the 1967 scene for fear the crowley might off himself but then why would he say "you go to fast for me" knowing it would hurt crowley and potentially damage their relationship?

Okay so first off thanks for the ask anon! I had to read this several to think about how I would go about explaining (theorizing?) this. This might be a long one so buckle up everybody! (we wil also be discussing season 2 so if you don't want to read potential theories/spoilers, then please dont read)

First I feel we need to try to understand what Aziraphale meant when he said the infamous line:

When I first read the book, I didn't quite understand what Azi meant by this, and when I first watched the show in 2020 I didn't understand why he decided to talk about their relationship at that moment. It only took me a couple more rewatches and understanding of their characters to realize it's about their relationship but it isn't.

I feel like to uderstand this we need to look at both their characters: Crowley likes to move fast, not only while driving (which Aziraphale is pretending to discus here) but in his day to day life and decisions. We see this time and time again throughout their 6,000 years. Crowley changes his hair and his clothes all the time, he's with the times of humanity and adapts to their new ways and technology that we see no other celestial character can quite acomplish like him. And I think fundementally that boils down to the fact that Crowley gets bored! He gets bored of a hairstyle or style and so he just gets a new one, he gets tired of things and goes and creates mischief. I also think both his innate curiosity and boredom is part of the reason for his fall (he got bored and curious and started hanging out with the wrong people.) I've also noticed unlike Aziraphale who likes "calming" hobbies (which I'll touch on in a bit) Crowley doesnt. He doesn't sit and savor food, he usually only consumes liquids, which can usually be consumed quickly. The only slow hobby he does is sleep, but it seems he's very black and white about it; either sleeping for several years in a row or seemingly not sleeping or sleeping very little.

Aziraphale on the other hand is very old fashioned and likes to take things slow and 'smell the flowers'. He has had the same haircut SINCE THE BEGINNING OF LITERAL TIME! And rarley changes his outfits. He isn't very intune with humanities inventions and latest discoveries. And his hobbies consist of him sitting and enjoying his food bite by bite or sitting down to read a book. I also think Aziraphale is somewhat old fashioned in his thinking. In season one, one of his biggest faults was that he stil inherently wanted to belive that Heaven was fundementally good. We see this show in some of his conversations/arguements with Crowley in the early days where he puts what crowley does down to him just being a demon, and in the argument scene Azi stil cant get over the fact that they are angel and demon.

So what am I getting at? I'm trying to say that I think Azi has realzied their differences, and more specifically, he has figured out how easily Crowley gets bored, and I think at sometime between the 1940s church bombing and the 1967 scene, that he has started to worry that Crowley will eventually get bored of him, or more specifcally, if he was to want and try for a non platonic relationsip with Crowley, that he would get tired of it and move on to something else, leaving Azi who doesn't like change, absoloutely crushed. And I think the reason he's alluding to it when he's handing Crowley the holy water is because he's afraid Crowley has finally grew bored of life itself, and that's the reason he's asking for the holy water.

I also want to point out that the new 1940's scene could change this depending on what happens after the church bombing, but unless one of them tries to make a move (specifically Crowley) I don't understand why Azi would say Crowley is going to fast with their relationship in any other way ONLY.

I also don't think Azi was trying to hurt Crowley, I think it was just weighing heavily on his mind, and when Crowley offered him a ride, he just couldn't really hold the thought in any longer? You know what I mean? It has had at least 20 odd years to marinate in his mind.

Finally, I want to touch on Neil's "Aziraphale has started picking up the pace" line, and I believe this is refering to him coming to the realization that neither side is good, and what side their on should not limit them and their relatioship (like Crowley has discovered for ages now) and is starting to get bored of the way they've been treated and had to keep their friendship secret. Thus his sudden "I thought we carved this out for ourselves"

I hope this wasn't too long, and helped you understand in some way what I was trying to say!

I've been feeling really sick recently, so to help myself I'm gonna write down a bunch of Jim.iny X Berry stuff I have so far! As well as some general Berry info and Jim.iny headcanons,,,

Proship / Exclusionists DNI

Jim.iny is visually impaired. Multiple times he's shown to own a pair of glasses when reading and just generally getting a better look at things, so I definitely think he's far-sighted. I also headcanon Jim.iny as being colour blind, specifcally red/green colour blind (suggested by a friend)

Being where Pino.cchio takes place, Jim.iny knows some Italian! I hc he's half-Italian

Him and Berry would've met before the events of Pino.cchio's adventure, officially getting together sometime afterwards, both of them viewing Pino.cchio as a nephew of sorts.

Berry's specifc species of bee is a white-tailed bumblebee

Berry often carries around a messenger bag, one of the objects they carry in it is a hot water bottle in the shape of a honeycomb. They have PCOS and often suffer from chronic stomach pains. They also carry around medication such as iron deficiency tablets.

Berry is bigger than Jim.iny in both height and weight.

Both of them are very tired and sleepy bugs, however Berry has trouble falling asleep at the same time he does. Usually Jim.iny falls asleep first, while Berry is always the one who wakes up first.

Berry goes by she/they/he pronouns and is bigender (Nonbinary demigirl), while I don't really have any identity headcanons for Jim.iny other than just he/him pronouns. Both are bisexual though!

I often refer to Jim.iny as both my boyfriend and husband, despite not officially having wed Berry and Jim.iny yet.... but I have plans : ) Although it wouldn't be a typical wedding. I and my sonas have Kosmemophobia meaning I'm uncomfortable wearing jewellery.

Berry lives in sort of a false hive. It's smaller than a regular beehive and they live by themself (till they met Jim.iny) Their bed is surrounded by pillows and other soft items, kinda looking like a blooming flower.

Jim.iny's nicknames for Berry are very bee-scentric. Calling them things such as: Honey Honeypot Honeycomb Buzzy Meanwhile Berry likes to call him names like "Cuddlebug" and "Bedbug"

Berry has spots and scars on their legs which she is very self conscious about, to help them feel better Jim.iny always refers to them as "Stars"

Jim.iny has a big sweet tooth, Berry doesn't

Berry often likes to eat alone as they would feel embarrassed by their eating habits, but he's become more comfortable eating with Jim.iny

They can be drawn during any time period mostly. Whether it be during the original 1940 movie or modern day

Berry often prefers flying instead of walking due to having a weak ankle.

Despite Berry not being one for physical touch, both of them are big cuddlers. They feel safe with Jim.iny and he respects their boundaries, always asking if it's okay first. Jim.iny loves soft things and often cuddles with Berry, finding their bee fuzz very soft.

They've had the odd disagreement on things now and then, but they turn it into more playful teasing and joke arguing while actually talking things out.

Jim.iny loves to dance while Berry isn't much of a dancer, always claiming they have two left feet. Jim.iny often likes to show them how to slow dance in private though, knowing they're uncomfortable dancing in public

Berry is an artist! She often carries a sketchpad around with them. And despite his raggedy and worn clothes, he's learning how to stitch and sow, wanting to design outfits one day.

quick summary: you had fallen in love with bradley - who just didn’t like you that much

You looked in the mirror, adjusting your outfit for going to the beach with your boyfriend.

“Honey, are you sure you’re okay with going? He’s gonna be there,” Fritz asked, wiping down his sunglasses on his shirt. You nodded, “I’ll be okay, Billy. I promise.” He slipped his sunglasses on, “Okay, but if you get even the slightest bit uncomfortable, tell me and we’ll leave.” “Okay.”

Truth was, you would be just fine. You had come to terms with your break up with Bradley Bradshaw a long time ago. You no longer held ill feelings towards the man and were actually thankful for the breakup; it led you to the man in front of you that loved you with everything he had and didn’t have.

You gave Fritz a big smile and grabbed his hand, “Come on, I know you hate being late.”

As Billy drove from your place to the Hard Deck, you couldn’t help but to think about your relationship with Bradley.

You hadn’t really spoken sense the break up, getting the occasional update from Natasha on how he was.

But now you were about to see him and you had no idea what to say.

You were Natasha's roommate for the longest time. You’ve been friends with her ever since middle school and you stayed best friends as you got older.

That’s how you met Bradley.

Phoenix had come home one holiday season with a stray attached to her hip.

“Y/N, this is Rooster, he’s the one I’ve been telling you about. Rooster, this is my roommate and best friend, Y/N.” He shook your hand, “Nice to meet you, Phoenix has told me a lot about you.” You smiled, “Same here, it’s nice to put a face to the name. Well, face to the call sign.”

He laughed at your little joke and you thought it may have been the prettiest laugh you had ever heard.

It hadn’t taken you long to fall for him, it was quite easy actually.

Bradley had done everything right, whether he did it consciously or not. You had fallen in love.

And Bradley thought he had as well. You were great; beautiful, funny, sensitive, and caring. He definitely had some feelings for you, but he incorrectly labeled them.

But he didn’t know. So, he acted on his feelings and asked you on a date – to which of course you said yes.

Things were great for the first few months, but then Bradley realized that he didn’t love you like he originally thought. But he wanted this to work, he really did, and you were so happy, he didn’t want to hurt you. So he kept up his act.

However, he fell into a routine.

And that routine lasted for months before you decided to stop denying it.

“Hey, Bradley, can we talk?” You asked over the phone, biting your nail as you leaned on the kitchen counter. Your heart was racing as you tried not to sound like you had been crying. “Yeah of course. I’ve been meaning to talk to you.”

Rooster had also reached his breaking point with his charade. He needed to come clean and break up with you before it eventually turned into fighting. Maybe you could try again later; you know ‘right person, wrong time’.

When Bradley got to yours and Natasha’s place, he went in and found you on the couch.

You were hugging a pillow and staring blankly at the coffee table.

He cautiously sat down beside you, “Hey, what’s up Sweetheart?” You rested your chin on top of the pillow. “Do you like me?” He blinked for a second, processing your question. “Of course I like you.”

That’s when you looked at him, “But do you love me?”

His throat dried up. Neither of you had said the three words yet, but you had other ways of saying it.

“Where is this coming from?” He reached out to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear but you dodged his hand. “Y/N…”

You sniffled, “Are you trying to hurt me? Was this whole relationship just a scheme to get off on making someone fall in love with you?” You didn’t yell the words, barely said them above a whisper – mainly because you were just speaking from a place of pain and insecurity and didn’t really believe them.

But you wanted him to see what his actions, no matter how they were intended, had done to you.

“No. God, no, Y/N. I would never want to hurt you-” “Well you did, Rooster.” This time you practically hissed out the call sign like it burnt your tongue. But you still didn’t raise your voice, and that’s what hit him the hardest.

You started to play with your nails, picking at the skin around them and not looking at the pilot anymore. 

“We need to break up.” 

Rooster nodded, even though you couldn’t see him. “I think that might be the best for now. But please know I didn’t intend to hurt you…”

You weren’t sure why you expected him to fight and want to stay together. He had checked out a while ago.

You looked up at him, a tear slipping past your eye that he wanted to wipe away. “Then why did you do it?” He opened his mouth, but his words had left him. 

There was no reasoning of his actions that would change how you felt or what they did to you. He closed his mouth and frowned, disappointed in himself.

Nodding and tonguing your lip, you played with the throw pillow. “You should go. I don’t want Nat to see us like this.”

Rooster swallowed, but nodded, “Okay.” He slowly stood up, pausing as if he were about to say something. But instead he gently left a lingering kiss on your cheek, his mustache consequently catching the tear that fell. “I’m sorry.”

He walked to the door, opening it and pausing to look at you, “Goodbye, Y/N.” “Goodbye, Bradley.”

Bradley leaned against the door and ran his hand down his face.

He was relieved to not be acting anymore, but he felt horrible for how he hurt you. He pushed off the door and went to his Bronco.

When Phoenix came home she found you stirring tea while staring down at the table.

She sat her gym bag down, eyes skeptical as she walked up to you. She sat down across from you, gently lifting your chin. “Hey honey, what’s wrong?”

You sniffled and pulled back from her, “Rooster and I broke up.”

Her jaw dropped. She had thought you both were great together. “What happened? I thought you guys were in love?”

You pushed away from the table, standing up and throwing your arms out, “Well you thought wrong Nat!” She flinched a little, not expecting the outburst. You took a few deep, angry breaths in through your nose as you paced.

But they soon turned into short breaths that then turned into sobs as you slid down the wall and cried into your hands.

Nat was right by your side, “Oh Y/N, I’m so sorry.” She pulled you into her lap and your head fell onto her shoulder, “What did I do wrong?” Her fingers combed through your hair, “Nothing, you did nothing wrong.”

She sighed, “Maybe it was just a ‘right person, wrong time’ situation. Rooster’s never been great at expressing his emotions. Give him time.”

“Give him time…”

You tried but you couldn’t do it.

Then you got a job offer and, despite it moving you states away for your best friend, you took it.

And that’s how you met the aviator that currently held your heart and had shown you just how much he loved you everyday.

“Y/N? Sweetheart, we’re here,” Fritz pulled you out of your memory.

“Hm? Oh, okay,” you reached down to unbuckle your belt, but his hand stopped you. “Are you sure you’re okay?” You smiled and kissed his cheek, “I’m positive.” He smiled and kissed your lips.

You went through the Hard Deck to get to the beach, saying ‘hi’ to Jimmy as you passed the bar and grabbed a drink.

When you got to the beach, Fritz introduced you to everyone.

“Y/N! Oh my gosh! Is that you?” You wiped around at the sound of Phoenix’s voice. “Phoenix!” You ran up to her and embraced her, nearly falling into the sand.

You hadn’t seen her in so long, but when Billy told you she was on with this detachment you were ecstatic to see her.

“I can’t believe you’re here! What are you doing here?” She asked when you pulled away. “I’m here with my boyfriend.” “Boyfriend? Who?”

Fritz wrapped his arms around you, “That would be me, Nix.” “Fritz?! You’re with Fritz Avalone?” You nodded, smiling at him before looking at her, “The one and only.” Billy kissed your cheek before leaving to go set up the bonfire.

Phoenix smiled and squeezed your arm, “You look really happy.” You nodded, looking at where Billy was tossing sand at Harvard. “I am. He makes me so happy. I love him so much.”

Nat couldn’t help but the soaring of her heart. She loved to see you so happy. You’re her best friend and after what happened with Rooster, seeing you so in love, more in love than you had been with Rooster, made her happy for you.

Bradley was happy for you too.

He had made a snack run and when he came back, he saw Fritz tackling you into the sand.

When Phoenix had told him what happened after he left, he felt terrible. He tried to talk to you and reconcile, maybe become friends, but you ignored him. You’d cut him off completely.

And he couldn’t blame you. He’d hurt you; you had every right to not want to talk to him or see him.

He watched from afar, seeing you smile and laugh with Billy. He wanted to wait for you to approach him, let you set the pace.

And after a while you had caught his eye from across the beach as Fritz twirled you. But you didn’t come up to him.

After Fritz danced with you in the sand and the sun got close to setting, Billy left to get the fire started.

You went over to the cooler and grabbed two beers.

“Hey, Y/N.” Rooster’s timid voice hit your ears from behind you.

You turned and smiled at him, “Hi, Bradley.” He glanced over to where Fritz was, “So, you and Avalone?” You nodded, smiling over your shoulder and Billy, “Yeah, me and Avalone.”

You met each other’s eyes again and he smiled at you, “You seem happy.” “I’m very happy.” He nodded, “That’s good. I’m glad.” “Thank you.”

It was silent for a moment.

“I’m sorry,” Rooster apologized, breaking the uncomfortable air.

You shook your head, “It’s okay.” “It’s not. You didn’t deserve what I did.” “I know, but I’m not upset. Not anymore. I came to terms with it.”

He was confused. “But I-” “I know, Brad. It took me a while, but I realized something when I was healing.” His eyes lit up with curiosity, but he didn’t ask.

“Phoenix had told me something that day, that maybe we were just a case of ‘right person, wrong time’ but that’s not what you were,” you sat down in a beach chair and he followed suit.

“I had made you out to be this villain after we broke up,” you chuckled sadly. “But you weren’t some evil mastermind, you didn’t try to hurt me on purpose.”

He cut in, “But I did-” You held a hand up, “Let me finish.”

You sighed, “I thought that you wanted to attempt and ruin my life, with the whole act you put up those last few months.” You grabbed his hands, “But, I know now, that it wasn’t deliberate. It wasn’t some big plan or grad scheme. You didn’t target me, you’d never do that. And I know that.” You sighed again, pulling your hands away to wipe them on your legs.

“But I am an idiot,” you chuckled again. “So it’s not your fault that I fell in love with someone who just didn’t like me that much.”

Rooster gave you a sad smile, “I truly am sorry for my actions. But I want to emphasize that my loss of feelings had nothing to do with you. They just-” “Roos, I get it. Things happen, feelings change. Maybe they weren’t there to begin with and it felt like it was too late to go back. But I’m not angry with you anymore.”

“So you forgive me?” You rested a hand on his arm, “I forgave you a long time ago.” You stood up and brought him with you. You gave him a hug.

You pulled back, “So forgive yourself, Rooster.” He nodded and ran a hand over his mouth. You gave him a smile before grabbing the two drinks and going over to Fritz.

“Here’s your drink.” Billy took it and smiled, “Thank you.” He kissed your forehead, “What did you and Bradshaw talk about?”

You smiled and glanced over at where Rooster was talking to Maverick. He looked at you and smiled back, giving you a nod and tipping his drink at you.

You let out a sigh of relief, this weight being lifted off your chest.

“I forgave him.”

As I was writing this, the more I realized I could make a meme out of it so here it is.

Ok so now that's done with, I can ramble a bit about the drawings themselves.

I started this shortly after doing the Edward sketch dump that had the redraw of a scene from "Old Iron". I decided to draw out pre-rebuild Jimmy in a specific scene that I'm considering getting rid of and rewriting for something else. Poor baby. :[

Also the other sketch with the angy Jimmy is based on another scene in EoSR. Not saying where it's from as it is a bit of a spoiler lol (recently deleted a lot of posts where I did the opposite of that lol)

I couldn't help but draw James from that specifc screenshot. I was going to draw James in that outfit but when i finished drawing the "base", aka him without the costume, I really liked the expression I gave him. Nothing like the original screenshot xd but I really liked it so I seperated them.

Speaking of the lion costume, I had to adjust mine because damn, it just looked really off when I used the layout of the original screenshot. The odd shadow is supposed to be there as they're supposed to be the back legs. .3.

I'm pretty impressed with how I drew that specific James, despite his funnel being incorrectly placed (it should be right smack in the middle of his smokebox). I love this perspective in particular. Oh, and new details as thus one was using the most up-to-date design for him. :] (i avoided drawing the coupling, btw.)

And there's my persona, or at least quick doodles of my persona's new design. The crescent moon horns are gone, which were a mistake tbh. I didn't like them that much. The short hair and space buns stay though. Bottom right is my favorite.

Loneliness eats away at a man. Alfred Ashford was a prime example, being the only alive/active member of his family at the age of 12. At first, he handled it well.

Yet it slowly sunk in that he had no one else to talk to but his split-personality. He was truly alone with no comfort to be found. Which is why when he managed to hunt down a new servant on the Island he got attached so easily.

Comfort quickly embraced him when he asked if you'd hold him. He sat you on his bed and laid on top of you. You could feel him shaking, grabbing at you tightly.

Alfred Ashford, your earl, was an unstable man. His emotions were erratic and he broke down often. At times he was sadistic... but times like this he was docile and scared...

Like an abandoned child.

You'd be ordered to sit there for what felt like hours. All Alfred wished to do was bask in your comfort. He'd cling and never let go, muttering into your outfit.

"I want to be this close... forever...."

Admittedly, when he said that the first time it made your cheeks flush. Even more so when he snuggled closer. You weren't sure how you felt about your earl....

Did he just want you for comfort, like a stuffed animal? Was he reflecting how he felt about Alexia onto you? Or... did your earl like you romantically?

That can't be true....

You had almost gotten used to his behavior as he did it so often. He'd hunt you down specifcally and ask you to follow him to his room. Then you'd start your routine....

You had called yourself a fool for thinking he had feelings for you. His actions... soon said otherwise. Strange... for he barely knew anything about you from what you know.

"(Y/N)... that is your name, right?"

"Yes, my lord."

"Would you do... anything for me?"

"... of course, my lord-"

"If I asked you to kiss me, would you?"

Your face reddens. Well... how straightforward.

"... My lord, that's unprofessional-"

"You would, wouldn't you?"

You avert your gaze, the man still sitting on you. You can't take the intense gaze he has on you. You need a breather, so you push on him to get off.

"Sorry, my lord. I have other duties to tend to-"

Alfred grabs your arms and puts them above your head, hovering over you. You'd be lying if you said you didn't have feelings for the young lord.... You two were so intimate anyways. But you were not ready to give into such desires just yet!

"Don't push me away, dear... I only want to be closer to you!"

Alfred breathes over you, eyes scanning your flustered figure. He can't possibly be thinking of-

"Answer me...!"

"I...I would...!"

You squeak your answer, feeling him adjust himself on top of you.

"I can tell you have a certain fondness towards me as I do you...."

He tilts your chin up, leaning closer.

"Well? Go on then. I want you to show me that you're mine."

He ghosts his lips over yours, watching your body shake and shiver underneath him.

"I'm allowing you. Take what's yours from your master."

Something about his voice, his encouragement, and the nerve wracking situation made you give in. That night, during one of your comfort sessions, it became much more. The first kiss was so sweet... you both craved more.

You knew you would surely be scolded by the other servants. Seducing their vulnerable earl in his time of need? How absurd!

Upon telling Alfred, he said it wasn't their place to say what's wrong and what's right. All that mattered was your comfort... all that mattered was you. Even more so if you were under him, admitting you're his.

Alfred never really liked the other servants judging you. Alfred had picked you out... they should mind their own business. He could easily solve the problem with a shot from his hunting rifle.

He just hated how it scared you when he murdered them.

"Stop screaming! I can't take it!"

"You killed them!"

"I killed them for you! They were being too nosey in what we do. Now... there is no judgement."

"Alfred... you can't just-"

"It doesn't matter!"

His embrace doesn't feel comforting with the blood, bodies, and smell of gunpowder in the air. You're completely rigid in his hold while Alfred nuzzles into your neck, sighing softly. Even after purging the island of those who judged you... he still finds complete and utter comfort in your warmth and smell.

"... all that matters is that you know you're mine. That's true, isn't it?"

"...."

"You're mine, aren't you?"

"... yes."

"Good..."

He leads you to his bedroom, walking through the halls and not once letting you go.

"Let me repay you for being such a good servant of mine, then...."

Ghost Writer Redesign Discussion🪶

     I really like OG Ghost Writer’s design. The colors r nice, love the coat and scarf, plus he’s kinda like a looks can be deceiving case. Compared to other ghosts he doesn’t look as scary as them which makes how much he can get the upper hand on Danny all the more impressive. I wanted to push the horror theme more, specifically gothic horror into his design.

The biggest change is that I made him a bird🐦 I think you can guess why, hint (”Nevermore”). Though fun fact, he’s actually a crow, not a raven, as shown with his smaller beak and thinner physique while ravens have more curved beaks and bigger. Ducktales is a really good reference for making bird characters, especially their beaks.

Made his hair like feathers. Added a short ponytail for extra feathers. I’m putting his power into his feathers so it makes sense for him to grow out his hair🪶

Replaced his shirt for a turtleneck sweater.

Made his coat a lighter purple with darker accents. Also added elbow patches and made the cuffs and lapel bigger🧥

Isn’t wearing pants, his legs now bird ones. Ngl while designing his legs, made me realize how it looks like birds wear puffy pants, lol.

No longer wears shoes, since he has bird feet. Does wear spats though. I think Scrooge McDuck would approve.

Made his scarf striped like bird legs and made the ends darker and tassels more apparent.

Made his glasses pore pointed and added a tint shading to the glass👓

Added a tealish blue into his palette💙 To add more to his palette aswell as give off a calm, neutral vibe.

Wanted to make him more gothic, specifcally Victorian gothic. Pushing the classic horror more for him. I do defend giving him a Victorian style outfit like Edgar Allen Poe’s but I really liked the modern elements he had and I feel like he died in more modern times so I went for a mix of classic and modern goth elements. The coat, fingerless gloves and spats especially. The bird skull necklace is a more modern part(the fingerless gloves can also be seen as that too). I also wanted to keep the modern sophisticated look, his OG design had. The type you’d see professors or writers on book covers wear in illustrations/cartoons. Like the turtleneck, elbow patches and scarf.

OG Color scheme-Grays, purple, black, white and green.

My Color Scheme-Black, grays, purple, tealish blue, bluish tints and white.

Made his round, green eyes, sharp blue ones. Also removed his pupils.

Gave him fingerless gloves.

Made his hands bigger and fingers sharper at the end, since they also count as his wings🦅

Removed his eyebrows as well as goatee.

Also doesn’t have ears or a human nose. Being a bird.

Added lines under his eyes. Feels like a guy who feels stressed and tired a lot.

Added a bluish tint to most of my blacks and grays as light usually reflects off crows, giving them a sorta bluish tint.

Urban Legends Teekl

The first image I don’t actually know where it’s from. The second is from Batman: Urban Legends and the third is a screen cap from Fairytail.

The confusing part is a think the first two are supposed to be the same character? Because they are both introduced as Teekl. And in DC Teekl has always refereed to Klarion’s tabby familiar.

So why is the Teekl in Urban Legends a) linked to Duke and b) look like Pantherlily?

Like maybe the two Teekl’s aren’t the same character, but then why would they share that name? It’s so specifc! I’m not surprised that there’s 12 different Jason’s running around DC, but Teekl?

Of course the chaos lord would be the only one to name is cat that.

But the second Teekl is clearly associated with Duke. Here’s an image or UB!Teekl in quadraped form carying Duke on his back while wearing matching outfits. They are buddies and they have been for a while I think.

Anyway. this is just one of those things that keeps me up at night. as second Teekl only makes a single appearance in this short story that throws out a whole bunch of interesting world building with zero explanations for any of it.

I know Future State: Gotham was a mess. but I want a dedicated Future State: Outsiders comic, or something. Duke seems like he gets up to somethings in this universe.

Also new Teekl and Pantherlily are definitely the same character, I won’t take critics on this.

the past few days have taken a massive impact on the career of many. all of us have been busy bees and it is time to give you guys a moment of relaxation. a chance to recover and to celebrate. it is time for jawbreaking to host its very first event and for that we are bringing you our own wrestlemania ball !!

the ball will take place on wednesday after wrestlemania (14th of april, 2021). the date was chosen because not only are we aware that people have their day off on thursdays but it is also the one month anniversary of this group! the admins can’t thank you enough for sticking with us and we’re hoping to keep you around for a much lunger time too. in order for all members in all time zones to take part in this two day event, we have decided that interactions regarding the event will be allowed from 10am eastern standard time on. the event will be concluded on april 15th at 11.59pm.

this wonderful event takes place at the avila golf & country club in tampa, florida. we ask each member to provide 2 outfits for the first night and one for the next day ( 3 total ). the details for the wrestlemania ball are as followed:

speech by triple h     –     6.00pm:     the evening will be opened by a speach of the ceo of wwe. this should not take longer than 20 minutes because we don’t want to make you wait for donner too long.

dinner:     to ring in the evening a three course dinner will be provided. we ensure to provide enough options for everybody who is on a specifc diet. the waiters have positioned meal cards at your seating place from which you can chose the dishes you would like to order.

show act:     while you are enjoying the dessert an acrobat show will take place in the dining hall to provide you all with entertainment and to warm you up for the rest of the night.

the ball:     after dinner please join us to the main event of the wrestlemania ball. take your loved one, your partner in crime or really anyone you want to and dance away a few hours. drinks will still be served and small snacks can be found on the tables for those who still feel hungry after dinner. 

fireworks     –     11.00pm:     to round off the official part of the evening we want to invite all of you to the roof terrace so we can enjoy the fireworks together.

the after party     –     midnight:     after the fireworks take up on the opportunity to freshen up and change into another outfit. a party in a ball gown might be a little bit exhausting. at this party you will find drinking games which will be hosted by @jawbreakingmemes​ and you can make the night memorable by visiting our photo booth to take pictures with your friends. this party is open ended.

now, we do understand that after a long party night everybody might want to sleep in. therefore, join us for brunch whenever you are ready.

brunch:     a large breakfast buffet  with vegetarian, vegan, meaty, hot and cold options will be offered. also, a cocktail bar and music will be provided to help you guys to forget the sins of the night prior.

dia show     –     12.00pm:     to round off the celebration of the biggest event of the year, jawbreaking has put together a dia show with the highlights of wrestlemania. come and join us while we’re reliving the craziness of the past week.

jawbreaking is more than excited to host this event and to give you people something back for sticking around with us. please don’t forget to tag all starters with #jb.event. additionally, we would like to ask you to refrain from writing any starters which are not related to the event. current conversations and para writings should also be put on hold for these two days. you can absolutely continue those once the event is over but for the sake of keeping our dash clean, please only post event related writings and pictures within those hours.

Can you talk about these 3 things Dabi being mentioned for the burn murders shoto getting his hero license endeavor making it to number 1 could you elaborate it on it more

Yeah sure, I’ll do my best. I’ve already wrote a lot about these all though so I’m not sure how much better of a job I’ll be able to do. I wrote about Dabi in the news and Endeavor being #1 here and specifcs on Dabi’s behavior surronding the cases here in case you haven’t seen it yet. Also this gets long so under the cut. 

1. Dabi’s Burn Murders

This was from Chapter 160. Basically, it was pretty casually mentioned that Dabi is currently behind an ongoing string of burn murders. We saw him killing some uncompromising villains in chapter 115, but that’s it until 160. This is a bit… Out of character for Dabi, since he previously did not commit “flashy crimes” and was pretty concerned with whether or not the LOV was just or not- he wasn’t a horrible guy, from what we saw. So what’s pushing him to commit crimes like this? Further, he’s very pleased that he’s making the news (he says something like “I’m making the news? Great!” which, to me anyway, implies he wanted to make the news. Perhaps I’m just reading into it, but what was the point of this scene if it wasn’t significant? Snatch, the pro-hero who brings it up, also mentions family (that’s in the 2nd analysis I linked you to so I won’t re-explain it) but yeah just… It’s a plot point.

2. Endeavor being #1

OK I want to note that I hate Endeavor but I do think he’s a pretty relevent/complex character. But anyway, This connects to what I said above. It’s also in the posts I linked you to. But anyway, Endeavor is the #1 hero now right? And it’s a hot topic in the news because people don’t see him as the proper replacement for All Might. The fact that it was in the news was even further emphasized this chapter. Like, we get it, Endeavor being #1 is in the news. I feel like this connects to Dabi being in the news for his crimes in some way (it’s just fishy they’re both in the news, one relating to burn murders and the other about the shaky #1 being the flame hero). Aside from that, Endeavor, who has been working towards beating All Might for over 20 years, who sacrificed the lives of his family for it, didn’t get it in the way he wanted at all. He wanted to BEAT All Might. He didn’t want to just get #1. Yet it was given to him. He didn’t earn it. He didn’t really accomplish anything. He just… Got it. Basically everything he did up until now was for nothing. His wife and child suffered for nothing. Hell, they were all born for nothing. His entire life is basically meaningless right now. He seems like he’s coming to terms with this and trying to find his own meaning, and he’s trying to be like… a “hero you [Shouto] can be proud of” and all the jazz but just… There’s gotta be something to that. Endeavor is either going to truly earn being #1 somehow via redemption, or lose it, or somehow both, or something totally different. Whatever it is, it’s another plot point. A pretty big one. He’s even got a new hero outfit. Endeavor is going to get spotlight if we like it or not. 

3. Shouto getting his hero license

Basically, Shouto doesn’t have his license right now. I’ve gone over this a few times in multiple asks but anyway… Him getting a license was probably just a plot point to get him out of the story + develop his relationship with his dad. He’s not only one of the best students’, but he’s also one of the most popular characters (same with Bakugou) so I really think they were taken out for a reason (lots of future development). I think when he does get it, he’ll probably be due for another arc.

honestly i find gendered bathrooms so fucking confusing. i’m a cis girl, but i’m always accidentally walking into the men’s bathroom. i see the little person sign and i associate it with “bathroom” and i think “i’m a person, this is my bathroom!” except apparently i’m not a person, i’m a skirted person, which is not something i’m thinking about when i need to pee. i am not constantly thinking of my gender and my expected gender presentation. like most people presumably, i consider myself a human and a citizen first and a woman second. if the bathrooms for Just People are Not For Me, they need to indicate that by giving the stick figure a fedora or something. or a cowboy outfit. i don’t care, just make it clear those bathrooms are for Specifc Types of People That Aren’t Me, otherwise my brain registers them as for everyone. Or better yet, just stop gendering bathrooms and let everyone pee in peace.
