#dip speaks #so far ive got that their name is spider-claw and unfortunately for them theyre all angst no comfort #usually my sad ocs have some silver lining for them #but not them. sorry spider-claw #anyway spiderman 2 has so far made me wonder about what a spiderperson's breaking point would be #which is what the inspiration was lol #but ya spider-claw has typical spidey powers but theyre also genetically part lizard #cause i want them to have a tail and claws #and there's nobody left who knows who they are or what they actually look like #they still help out and save the city n all that but theyre a shell of their former self #the whole Angst thing will prolly change cause i like multi-faceted characters w depth but yeah #thumbs up

#dc comics #dc #damian wayne #stephanie brown #tim drake #been drawing more self indulgent doodles lately which is nice #these r sort of a part of that lol #i drew the tim and damian one back when that stort actually came out it's. definitely interesting #if only for portraying Tim and Damian as equally flawed individuals (contrasted to the zdarsky batman for example)#AND unintentionally highlighted how low-key embarrassing it is that Tim is still robin. it's got a part two coming out sometime this month #and the Steph doodle was inspired by me rereading her batgirl run since the trade came out! and remembering how hard Lee Garbetts art slayed #but yeah while i figure out what to post and how- have this #the tim and damian one got like 3 likes on the bird app meanwhile the Steph one is at 1.3k w 93 bookmarks #say what you will about the bird app but when you get the right ppls attention that place does NOT have to be batboy centric #(or soley batboy centric. i like them a lot (damian mainly) but the variety is nice compared to here)

That's Right #lackadaisy #WHICH i have been reading since at least '07 when i was thirteen my god b/c this animation is based on the ongoing webcomic #like does its influence show up Directly in some Discrete way i can point to in my art? not very easily probably. And Yet.#the inspiration....i wasn't able to be Regularly Only for at least another year / art done Nonprofessionally Online was novel to me #like wow ppl can make & post fanart of w/e they love huh....didn't know webcomics were a thing & i never really read that many since but.#good god the quality of Lackadaisy at its onset is like this is superb?? this person putting in all their talent and effort???#and Then you get years & years more art and i don't even know what superlatives to throw out abt its quality as it evolves. obsessed w/it..#if i see a new lackadaisy comic page i Will be acting out. obviously this animation is a delight & also stunning. and fascinating to also #juxtapose as a Translation / Interpretation of the comic in a different medium & standalone snippet of Story #and that we're not even quite there in the comic timeline; Taking Notes abt character info we get distilledly here....genuinely love like #take it back to '07 i'm like oh boy can't wait for the dream team to assemble. then a decade later when it did? love when ppl make random ass aus for their fave ship that r just nonsensical and crazy . anyways jegulus au in which the potter’s run an animal shelter and usually order their pet supplies online but one day james goes to a chain store and finds regulus, who hates every single thing abt his shitty fucking pet store job and ONLY stays bc having a shitty job getting to pet cats on a leash is better than having a shitty job and not being able to. anyways james sees a twink and loses a few brain cells so he just pretends he has NEVER had a pet before and asks for regulus’ advice to talk to him. in his nervousness james is like “so dogs can’t eat chocolate right hahaha that’s crazy i’d go crazy” and regulus is like “i don’t get paid enough for this”

I thought ''be considered X where I live'' would make the most sense since 'tallness' or etc. is sort of #subjective to the people around you or your specific culture/area/etc. And if I just said ''I'm tall'' or ''I'm short'' then #the response might be 'well how do I define whether I'm tall or not?'' or etc. But then most people could probably look #at the people around them in daily life they interact with and compare based on that to get a more literal idea or something #..ANYWAY.. lol.. as usual just thought of some random thing and was like.. hrmm... i wonder what the most common #feeling about that would be.#personally I'm not even short but I just want to be really really tall... like... 7 feet tall or something. In a fantasy world type of way #of course. so like a super tall elf creature. More realistically I suppose you get health problems past a certain point #so maybe I'd be happy with 6'2“ or so.#Absolutely no hate towards people with this preference but I've always had trouble understanding the idea of wanting to be shorter #so you're Small And Cute or this and that. or whatever the base reason is. I suppose I would understand it from a surivval prespective #maybe you want to be able to hide in your environment easier and blend into a crowd. being bad at video games is fun because it makes your character a uniquely stupid yet resilient and plucky sort of hero. an underdog no one would ever expect to win. so if you finally do it feels like slightly different and potentially funner version of the story. i wanna post my yaps abt how the stickler-empire alliance is upheld by hopperclock and dualities friendships alone simply bc the empire only recognizes the sticklers as allies bc of minute and mapiccs individual alliances w jumper and ro—

like even that is tenuous at best bc mapicc doesnt care much for rek or jumper at all to the point that i think that theres most definitely a world where he kills them for a heart or smt if anything if he was caught while crashing tf out

while minute seems to mainly trust and want to work w jumper when given the chance while kind of seeing rek and ro be allies by proxy of them being her teammates. like even w ro offering to take pentars interest in him to help kill mane, minute still sees it as him helping mapicc SPECIFICALLY and not as him helping the empire as a whole (which is most likely true, in his defense!)

but like i cant articulate all of my thoughts and opinions in a satisfying way to MYSELF bc i have much to say and a few examples to help explain what i mean but the yap braincell isnt yap braincelling so all i can do is post this which is like...basically my yaps but on sale. discounted. not at full value.
