I've seen a bit of your essays about egypt references in sumeru. Will you do one for each character? Asking because I really wanna know what you think of Alhaitham, Deshret and Nabu Malinka
Oh Wow I'm so glad folks are still finding those! (also so sorry it took me like a month to respond)
So I double checked and I only got around to posting Nilou, Cyno, and Apep on Tumblr. I thought I vaguely touched on King Deshret just before 3.0 launch but I think that was just in a comment on someone else's post about Sumeru and Egypt. Same thing with Candace unfortunately.
I'd have to look into Al-Haitham a little more. Other than his name being Arabic there doesn't seem to be much linking him to the Egypt side of things. Most things from the Akademiya are Hindi inspired and I don't have enough knowledge in that area to feel comfortable assuming links between things.
For Nabu Malikata it was a waiting game. We knew about the flower goddess in 3.0, but it's only been the last two area updates where we've even learned her name. Now that we have all of it. . . It actually doesn't make it that much easier. Nabu implies Mesopotamian gods might be involved meaning there love myths are on the table along with the OsirisXIsis myth which would be the easy answer (if it was like a role swapped version lol), then you have the Tanit and Babel dropping Torah references left and right. On top of all that since we know Nilou is supposed to symbolize Nabu and Nilou has Hindi connections in her stuff we can't rule out Hinduism from our list of old religious sources.
Basically Mihoyo pulled from every middle eastern primary (hopefully) source they could get their hands on. And didn't care which they put on some characters. Characters like Cyno or Candace are easy to break down into Anubis and Horus. But even King Deshret has other things mixed in there. Like they legit replaced Amun-Ra with Deshret. Like they redesigned the eye of Ra to mean King Deshret in Teyvat. I'm guessing because Ra is so well known they couldn't use the name? But it just makes things messier.
So short answer Candace, Deyha, and King Deshret are definitely on the table for me to finally post their breakdowns. (Seeing as Candace's character quest or hangout apparently isn't happening). Nabu Malikata's breakdown and King Deshret and Nabu's love story on the other hand are in time out until if figure out if they're even an Egyptian myth or a Sumerian one.
And no time frame for any of these. It took me a month to get to this ask. I'm not exactly the fastest historical researcher at the moment.

What are the wishes of the other archons?
Madoka AU Venti's wish
Okay so, I haven't figured it out for some of the others, but here's a few-
Zhongli made a wish about wanting to continue having the quiet moments with his friends. In his exact words, "I wish I can preserve these precious moments, to protect those around me from facing harm." His friend Guizhong had actually mentioned something about fighting witches to him once and while he believed she can handle it herself, he still wanted to do something. So when he got approached by Kyubey, he just kinda accepted without much thought.
He and the Tsaritsa (name still pending) actually made similar wishes, but Zhongli's was more directed on protecting his friends while the Tsaritsa's was more focused on outside forces that could cause harm
The ability associated with the wish has to do with crystallizing and petrifying things
As for Makoto, well. Things weren't going so hot for her
There were a lot of unfortunate incidents happening around their area from a witch affecting the real world. Ei ended up dying protecting Makoto from a stray shot and it was very much as traumatizing as you'd imagine
She didn't jump the gun like Venti had. It took her a while to like, even acknowledge Kyubey. When she did tho, her wish was "I wish Ei to be back alive and safe in my arms. I don't want her to place herself in danger if I could do anything about it," to change what happened to her sister. The wish made it so that Ei had only gone missing for a bit before being found again. It also kinda lowkey made her invincible so there's that
Makoto ended up getting the ability to change the placement and trajectory of things, which includes the ability to teleport anything she touches. She uses an umbrella like a shield, but really it's like an extra arm to touch things she can't exactly touch, like a blast
Rukkha kinda found herself ending up in a witch's Labrinth and managed to survive until Nabu found her. I haven't figured out the exact wording of the wish she made yet, but it has something to do with helping find comfort
She made the wish the way she did because she had been there when the witch was born. Rukkha ended up being able to open pathways and carry things in little crystals with her magic associated with the wish
Like I said earlier, I'm still figuring out the rest, but here's what I have at the moment
Egeria wanted to help take someone's burden
Furina maybe wished for the innocence of someone close to her? I might change this tho when she's released
Murata desperately wanted someone to be able to live
The Tsaritsa, as mentioned, wanted to keep harm away from her loved ones
Not an archon, but Nabu's wish was to escape to find a new life for herself
And that's about that

Seelie Guizhong. Crack theory but also like. not really?
Right, okay. So ya'll have heard of the "Descender Zhongli" theories, right?
So. The gist is that this theory states that Zhongli might've remembered Rukkhadevata, therefore he might potentially be one of the four(?) descenders that came to Teyvat. This is supported by his Character story 5 voiceline (According to WEi on youtube, check out the video) never changing the number 2. But, of course, other possible evidence include the fact that we don't know his actual age, and he was actually never mentioned to be born 6k years ago, just (and I literally quote,) Descended. His burst is a meteor. might make another deep dive into this theory sometime.
What do we know about Guizhong? She sings a lot, mentioned several times. she made the cleansing bell, which is like. robot music???? idk maybe Guizhong invented techno or something. Her favourite flower is the glaze lily, which reacts positively to singing- she sings to the flowers often. The point is that She is girlboss, first of all, and she is musically inclined.
Why is this relevant? Because we know the seelie are also musically inclined. One might argue that being musically inclined is not special, to which I say: every music-related deity we've met in genshin has been sus. Istaroth, Nabu Malikata, sus. Venti is related to istaroth, sus is a given.
Seelie were known to be wise, and guided humanity, something Guizhong preached. Other than that, nabu malikata was possibly a seelie, according to the Aranara, she was a survivor, implying that yes, survivors exist. Guizhong might've been one. Nabu malikata was also known as the "goddess of flowers", and the story is that paradisarahs went extinct when she died. Note that Paradisarah lore holds many, many parallels to Glaze Lily lore, although glaze lilies didn't actually go extinct courtesy of zhongli and the adepti. GoF and Deshret lore actually holds quite a number of parallels with Guizhong and Zhongli. We do not know guizhong's origins, either.
So- how does this tie in to descender!Zhongli?
Seelie lore states that a long time ago, a Seelie married a traveler from afar. days after, disaster struck- the tried to flee but it caught up with them. They were punished by being separated and their memories wiped. In the game, MC is referred to as Traveler. MC is an outlander, a descender. therefore, descenders may be referred to as travelers.
Zhongli might have been this Traveler, and Guizhong the seelie he married.
A long time ago, they might have been separated and had their memories wiped. This is not impossible for descenders, because such a thing happened to MC, where they are unaffected by irminsul, but a celestial might be able to mess with their memories. If this is the case, then having their memories wiped might've even be a precedent for Guizhong to create the memory of dust. If they lost their memories, it would make sense that Zhongli would only remember their first meeting way after the seelie fell- then again we never did know when exactly did they meet so there's that.
And (getting into major crack theory stuff here) it might even explain the mysterious circumstances of Guizhong's death... If they were never supposed to meet again, death was to separate them eternally. Or, the mere fact that she might be a seelie race survivor could have painted her as a target.
Here's a detail I noticed. Mondstadt, Liyue, and Ay-Khanoum are all named after the moon. They're the only cities with this, as far as we know. Ay-Khanoum translates to moon maiden. Mondstadt is german for Moon City. Liyue literally means Glazed Moon, or Jade Moon, using the 玉 (jade) in Liyue's Li 璃.
But anyway. thoughts?

Here's a Rivusa writing wip that I'm not going to finish that I thought was cute
Musa rocked on her heels looking around at the landing site on the planet Callisto. There was always something to look at, the buildings were all painstakingly created with unique character and covered in street art. She can definitely see why this place was Helia's favorite out of all the places he's lived. It was so vivid.
Musa extremely excited. She and Riven has been dating for a year and barely had any time together.
First it was because Riven's injury from Darkar, it was cursed and even with healing magic took forever to heal. Which meant no travelling to see her in Melody, and no seeing him because he needed to rest.
Next school started, and she was beyond excited to finally see her boyfriend up and healthy. She had been letting her hair grow out over the summer, and even tried the hair growing charmed shampoo Stella kept pushing on her. Her hair wasn't exactly long, there's no way in hell she was dealing with all the hair Stella has, but it was much longer than her usual bob cut. Reaching all the way down to the top of her chest. She spent a little too much time researching how to make her hair smell good because of the way Flora raved Helia was obsessed her new products when she tried out when he visited her in the middle of break. Her research paid off, Riven literally couldn't take his eyes off her hair. Everything was going perfect, then Valtor attacked the heart of all Oceans, wrecking every single planet, and especially Andros. Her hair forgotten for the far more important situation.
Then, shit really hit the fan. She was off planet, Stella was turned into a monster, school actually starts, they go to Andros to fight Valtor, the trix we're back, Aisha got blinded, the Millennium Party and the subsequent disaster that wrecked Eraklyon already precarious civil situation, Cloud Tower being forced to attack them, Faragona getting turned into a tree, the Black Willow, Tecna being sucked into Omega, going to Omega, Valtor attacking the museum, Nabu having zero social skills and being as suspicious as possible, freeing Radius from Cassandra, hunting Valtor, Nabu trying to make up for getting away at the museum by sneaking on their ship, Riven freaking out because he thought Nabu was Darcy, the Golden Kingdom taunting her with an illusion of her dead mother, the elements spells, defeating Valtor, the boys getting kidnapped, defeating Valtor again—the year was one thing after another in a endless gauntlet of battle and catastrophe.
When shit wasn't going down, in the rare moments of down time they stole in between Valtor's most recent plans, they we're exhausted. They napped on the couch, spent time with near abandoned hobbies, pretended to do homework that their teachers barely cared about anymore, and they were never alone. There was safety in numbers. Bloom was a target, they thought Tecna was dead. Anxiety and dread creeped over their skin, and no one dared to stray from the group, and from what she heard from the boys. They were much the same, especially after they heard about Darcy being back, especially after what happened to Sky.
Not that all of this wasn't more important than her silly desires. They were, they absolutely were, but she couldn't help but be resentful that she hadn't gotten to spend anytime with her boyfriend. Her teenage years have been spent fighting evil and dealing with politics. She could barely remember when she was a normal girl, when she could preform at a talent show without the witch she pissed off earlier in the week trying to murder her father. All she wanted was just, something normal, low key, fun. Musa probably should of realized that her relationship would always be just a little dramatic when they officially got together while he was bleeding out on the stone ground of UnderRelm, but goddammit she just wanted some fucking time alone with her boyfriend that didn't involve healing him after evil shit head number 36 tried to murder him! Again!
She wanted to enjoy the effect her new hair had on her boyfriend or one day, without any murderous megalomaniac showing up.

No Big Construction in Ukraine? Ex-deputy head of presidential office searched by NABU
Officers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) searched the house of the former deputy head of the Ukrainian president’s office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
Earlier, Tymoshenko also held the positions of an adviser to the head of the Defence Ministry and supervisor of the Big Construction Project. According to Ukrainian media, the searches were instigated as part of a leak of information from the NABU in the Big Construction case. Tymoshenko stated:
I fulfilled all the demands of law enforcers, there are no personal claims against me.
The probable reason for the detention is suspicion of corruption. Law enforcers detained the ex-head near the restaurant Ishak in Kyiv.
NABU is a specialised anti-corruption service created with US support. Meanwhile, the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) is an independent structural unit of Ukraine’s Prosecutor General. The SAPO is mainly responsible for supporting and overseeing criminal investigations launched by the NABU.
NABU cases are heard by the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC). The court was established on 11 April 2019, with the decree on its creation signed by then-President Petro Poroshenko. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) named the establishment of the HACC as a condition for a loan of 17.5 billion dollars to Ukraine.
Possible reason for searches
Tymoshenko resigned from the administration at his own request in January 2023. When the war broke out, he allegedly started embezzling the budget on a particularly large scale.
Ukrainian media reported that he was removed from his post for allegedly targeting Western financial aid allocated to Ukraine during the war against Russia. According to the media, he embezzled more than 50 billion hryvnias ($1.23 billion) from the Big Construction Project and misappropriated several billion dollars worth of humanitarian aid on a regular basis.
Tymoshenko’s resignation is directly related to a series of dismissals of other politicians. The governor of Dnipropetrovsk region, Valentyn Reznichenko, left his post together with Yuriy Golyk, who was in charge of development and innovations in Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. Having methodically embezzled the regional budget and become millionaires, they tied their fates with Kyrylo Tymoshenko, local media reported.
A year after the outbreak of war in Ukraine in February 2022, a corruption scandal involving Oleksii Reznikov, the country’s former defence minister, erupted in Ukraine. According to Ukrainian media, the Defence Ministry was involved in purchasing food for the military at deliberately inflated prices.
Reznikov called what happened a “misunderstanding.” However, the ministry signed a contract for more than 13 billion hryvnias with a newly founded Aktiv Company, which had an equity capital of exactly one thousand hryvnias.
Tymoshenko stepped down shortly after Reznikov. Ukrainian media reported that he left allegedly because he was targeting Western financial aid amid the war in Ukraine.

Jess moves and pulls out a chair and sits down a few feet from where Flash is leaning on the table, "Well I- okay Uh-" she rubs her forehead, trying to figure out where to start, "I think I'm here because my powers have a direct opposite, and we attempted to use those abilities together, instead of against each other. It... It didn't go so well."
"An opposite?" Flash asks, and in a burst of speed is sitting down facing her, leaning against the table, "What exactly are your powers?"
"Uh. Chaos?" She motions vaguely, then sighs, "The actual thing is like... Power absorption and manipulation, really. My metagene activated when I was young and made my body able to process powers and the like that'd normally kill someone. But I spent so long near a specific power source unknowingly, so I'm not terribly good with much else."
Flash leans back with a little "huh", nodding.
"The power source was... Well like, the manifestation of chaos itself? He sought... Suffering, disorder. An opposite to Nabu, or Dr. Fate. So I could... Change reality, to an extent."
"Which is why you're the person who ended up in a different universe." Flash says, nodding. He seems to be following just fine, even though it didn't fall under the type of science he specialized in, he was intelligent. Jess can't help but wonder if this Justice League misses how intelligent their Flash is like hers tended to. Even she fell prey to missing how intelligent any members of the Flash family were.
"Yeah, I think so." She sighs softly, leaning back in her chair and dropping her hands to her lap. Her suit is in tact, but there's some wear and tear that wasn't there before, but she's not actually sure how big the gap in her memory is. She still isn't quite sure what happened directly preceding the space between worlds and appearing here. The more down time she had to think, the more confused she became about the whole situation.
"Well, if you're not here to cause trouble, you'll just have to figure out how to convince everyone else you're not a threat."
"Everyone else?"
"You've convinced me, so you either aren't a threat or you're an incredible liar."
Jess gives him a little smile, "I'm a decent enough liar to keep a secret identity, but I'm not lying now."
Flash hums, nodding, but his attention is pulled away as the door opens.
"Why are you talking to her?" Hawkgirl snaps, "She could be a threat!"
"Wait-" Superman is close behind, stepping into the room, "If she was a threat she would have taken advantage of being alone with Flash, right?"
Jess slowly places her hands on the table, not wanting them to think she's hiding a weapon, she doesn't fancy the idea of fighting multiple members of the Justice League alone.
Green Lantern follows them in, he looks distrustfully at Jess, but he steps in front of Hawkgirl, *Sitting at that table isnt exactly a great point to start a fight from, we need to actually interrogate her and learn more before we pick a fight, okay? We need to know what we're dealing with."
"Listen," Superman offers, as Hawkgirl seems to relent slightly, "No one talks to her alone without the rest of us agreeing to it first, okay? We can deal with this as a team."
"Your cameras have microphones on them, don't they?" Jess asks, drawing all four sets of eyes to her, "You can listen to our conversation, if you like," she motions to the board she'd been writing on, "And I'm sure between all of you there's people who can look at what I was working out. It's.." she grimaces, it was far from her best work, "It's not my best work, just trying to get all the things out before they slip away."
Instead of seeming placated, Hawkgirl narrows her eyes at Jess, who has to work hard not to feel like a teen squirming under her glare during training.
Jess didn't belong in this world, that much was obvious. She couldn't quite place why it was obvious, though. All she knew was that looking around her and at her own hands, something was off. Her suspicions were confirmed when she looked up to find she was surrounded by the Justice League. They weren't her Justice League, though.
For one, J'onn J'onzz, or Martian Manhunter, had a completely different facial structure. Sure, the guy could shape shift, but what reason would he have to change his martian form? Then there was Hawkgirl, that glowering distrustful expression was the same, but her uniform was so different.
What really sealed the deal, though, was the way Batman was looking at her. It was Bruce alright, but there was no recognition in his expression, merely calculation and consideration, likely trying to ascertain how she'd appeared out of nowhere and what she wanted.
Jess holds up her hands, forcing her posture to relax, she needs to show she's not a threat before someone gets punch happy. "Uh- Hey- I'm..." She swallows, glancing over the Justice League. Even though she was technically a member in her universe, and she'd even had to fight her own league of the core members before thanks to mind control, they were intimidating. "I'm just as confused as all of you," she settles on the truth, though she figures she should break it to them slowly that she's pretty sure she's somehow crossed universes.
There's a strange prodding at her mind, different than the telepathy that had become second nature between her and her team.
"She's telling the truth." J'onn declares, nodding slightly.
Flash and Superman visibly relax at the assurance, and Wonder Woman steps back a bit. Hawkgirl and Green Lantern are still staring at her, both ready to strike if she tries anything, which she doesn't plan on doing.
Batman is still looking at her with the considering expression.
She swallows, glancing across the League then past them to properly take in her surroundings, "Am I- I'm on your satellite, aren't I? Oh that's... That's worse that makes me look so suspicious, huh?" She has to literally bite her tongue to keep herself from rambling more, Nightwing told her on more than one occasion that when she was nervous she could give Impulse a run for his money when it came to rambling. It was handy sometimes, but now didn't feel like one of those times.

i’d love to hear your thoughts about nabu/helia’s dynamic 💔💔
dude,,, WELL fair warning this might get long i'm not sure yet this is all based on vibes but knowing me and how much i can spin about helia it's probably gonna be a feast
,,,
ANYWAY dude i'm obssesed with them. i think what really makes them interesting is how they bonded over helping riven! like,, the funny thing about helia is that you think he'd be the kinda guy to really only get close to people who are like him. maybe it's because he's an artist, maybe it's the pacifist comment, who fucking knows, but you see him and you think "he probably won't get close to people that are very different from him". BUT THEN!! it ends up being the complete opposite!! helia is much closer to riven and timmy than he is sky and brandon who, for all intents and purposes, are much more similar to him in terms of personalities and morals.
and while we didn't get a good handle on nabu, i think he's similar in that regard. which is fucking hilarious!! you'd think they would get really close since they have similar personalities, morals, and even interests. but they're really only friendly to each other because they aren't assholes, not because they're drawn to each other. and they only end up getting close because of riven being a mutual friend and wanting to help him
the way they go about helping riven is also really similar! they help when he asks, but try not to push him too hard. they give emotional advice and prep talks, as well as advice to fix things with musa. and they try to amp him up when their advice doesn't work (which also as much as i love s4 for all the interactions,,, the oocness for all of them really peeves because y'all know damn well helia's great advice wouldn't be Give Her Presents).
i just think it's so cute how they bonded over their shared interest of Must Help Riven!! like they really adore him so much, despite nabu knowing him for like a year at this point and riven being incredibly pissy with helia at first.
and then,,, the out of universe explanation is obviously just rainbow being rainbow but IN UNIVERSE the death scenes and mourning scenes are really interesting with helia? when the specialists are running toward everyone, helia is at the same pace/ahead of the others but when they pan the shot to when everyone is stopped and staring, he's behind the over guys. which means he either stopped before them (probably in shock) or took a step back. AND THEN during the mourning scene, he straight up isn't shown! everyone else is shown being sad except for florelia which is so weird to me??? but if i'm really thinking about in universe reasons, i'm thinking it's because helia is probably used to this, knew it was gonna happen at some point but was just shocked that it happened to the New Guy first, and someone as powerful as nabu for that matter!
i really do think helia knows the risks of being a specialist/hero in a much more realistic way than some of the others (like when sky says he never thought it would happen to them). they're just so used to being the Heroes That Save The Day and only come close to dying but don't actually die. and they're all just so young yknow? they've thought about it, they've been scared because of it, but there's always a hint of "not us though right?". but helia really doesn't have that. however, i don't think he ever expected it to be nabu who went first.
ANYWAY i just think they're so interesting!! and in my head, nabu is still alive so i love thinking about them in the future too. i have sooo many hcs for how they're relationship could've progressed (as well as them + riven) if nabu hadn't died and bro... i am mourning :')
#i just think how they bonded is so interesting...#it says so much about them !!#its also pretty similar to how helia joined the specialists in the first place#with some of them immediately hating him and then gradually warming up to him because they need his help#which is exactly what happened with nabu#which honestly also says a lot about the specialists like they really are the you cant sit with us squad#fucking losers#winx helia#winx nabu#answered

Is Jack Might with Class A on Nabu? What do Katsuma and Mahoro think of him? Even better: What will RODY think when the crazy guy chasing him also has a horrific hellhound at his beck and call? (I'll bet he asked Izuku not to let Jack Might eat him multiple times)
For the second movie:
Okay so that's actually a funny story! Jack Might wasn't invited to Nabu but he didn't get the memo and happened to have a Breathing Under Water quirk so he simply swam over there to meet his boy! He arrived in the middle of the time, exactly when Nine and co's boat arrived!
Now, Izuku was very surprised to see his dog but also very happy! He then spent two very calm weeks on the island! The only thing that worried him was Jack Might having a slight stomachache soon after his arrival, but whatever he ate, he managed to digest it!
For the third movie:
Okay so Rody was under the impression that the hellhound who chased after him through the entire city was Izuku's quirk, just like Pino is his.
Izuku had been specifically ordered by Endeavor not to jump into crazy situations so Izuku, obedient boy that he is, was drinking some fancy European coffee while waiting for Jack Might to fetch him poor Rody.
Rody has somewhat mixed feeling about this reveal because he was happy that he wasn't facing someone with a similar quirk having such a cooler manifestation of his soul! On the other hand, he learned about Izuku's real quirk while they were running from the cops and he was being flung in every direction, way too high above the ground. Then, he had to deal with a reality where one could apparently pick up what is a very poorly disguised hellhound in the street. Then, the dog insisted on following them and was drooling while looking at Pino. And the crazy hero kept assuring him that this was a good doggo who would never eat Pino because he was a sweet puppy, which made Rody doubt his sanity even more.
Also, there were several instances where Rody woke up to see that Jack Might was watching him sleep.
#Rody: *barely entertains the idea of stealing the case*#Pino: The dog said that if you make his master sad he will eat you.#Rody: *internal screaming*#jack might au

YJ 4.11 big time spoilers and critisism
For an arc that’s supposed to be about Zatanna, it really seems to be about everyone but her. Her apprentices, Nabu/her father, kalrion, vandal savage, even beast boy. They all have storylines and a larger part than Zatanna who is mostly absent from any of them. She’s kinda just... there.
Sure, Zatanna is mentoring the three, but it’s fate who “tests” them and they themselves overcome or demonstrate their strength over their inner demons/struggles. We kinda just... assume they’ve grown under her mentorship. And Zatanna just watches as they face these struggles. All we’ve seen her do for them is that little test at the beginning. She seemed like a fun mentor but... *shrugs*. All she really did is drag them along as she briefly investigated the strange magic pulse.
Speaking of... Zatanna initially pursues the arrival of a new chaos lord, but doesn’t exactly learn what’s going on. Then she’s told and shown things by people that know more than her. The second episode takes away her role as an active player in learning the bigger picture of the conflict involving the chaos lords.
Even Vandal Savage’s backstory, which is so revelant to this arc, happens separate from Zatanna’s involvement or awareness. They could’ve written this arc to have Zatanna investigate and learn what lead to the current conflict. Instead we get narrations by a newly introduced character.
Three episodes in and Zatanna is just now meeting Nabu/her father and that dynamic was such a big part of her story in S1 before she got demoted to side character. And we only have two episodes left? Imagine if it was four like the previous two arcs.
Then there’s beast boy. On one hand, I’m glad they didn’t just drop him in the first arc, but on the other... he seems more revelant than Zatanna in her own arc.
We got two episodes to go, so maybe things will improve, but... some of these issues were present in Artemis’ arc to lesser degrees. It sorta seems to me that they’re falling back into old habits of overcrowding and introducing new characters at the cost of old ones. I don’t want to be that critical of S4, because a lot of what’s going on is REALLY interesting. I’ve always thought Vandal’s backstory is interesting and learning more about Chaos lords is fun, but... it doesn’t feel like a Zatanna arc. And I think that’s a big minus considering that’s how they’re structinging the episodes in this season. There’s still two episodes to go so things can improve and connect her story better.

mAn i bloody love Musa and Riven. I loved their relationship in the show as a kid mostly because they weren't perfect. Whilst the other relationships were pretty much and they made me cringe far more, even as a kid. Though their relationship was a little toxic when they were both developed as characters they had a really good relationship. From what I heard about s8 they made Riven regress back to his old jealous stubborn self which is annoying seeing how much he developed as a character
Hi anon!
I love these two! They're my OTP 😍 I still remember exactly the moment I fell in love with them
Ok, maybe not exactly this moment 😅 but of course this episode, exactly when Riven came into the light with Musa in his arms 😍 from that moment on, I started to follow them, and rec every moment of their love story 😂
I love them, too, because they were more realistic than the other couples, both of Musa and Riven were stubborn, proud, they found hard to talk openly about their feelings (see when Musa denied to Stella, in season 1, that she had a crush on Riven), and easily irritable, just like Flora said in this other episode, from Season 2
In Italian, Flora said something like "Incredible, those two are identical!", and I still think that she was right.
Season 2 was something incredible for them, Jared, Musa's concert, the way Musa gained her charmix (trusting Riven), and the end! The EEEEND!
I squeaked in this exact moment, because in Italian Riven said (after "come back to me") "I love you!" FINALLY THIS STUBBORN AND PROUD GUY SAID WHAT HE REAL FEEEEEELT!!! YEEEEEEEESSSS!!! 🎊🎊🎊🎊 (ok, I have to calm down 😅 I can't, I become 14 again 😭😭😭😭), then Riven saved Musa from a Lord Darkar's attack, risking his life, their kiss, THE AAAAAANGSTTTTT! 😭😭😭😭 And when, after Bloom healed every one, Musa went away from Riven shily (awwww 😍 how cute! 😍), at the end, they happily danced
(and I really "thanked" Aisha/Layla for this moment 😁)
Then, there is season 3, and I think there is another beautiful moment, even if we started to see how much they argued, like in an episode where specialists teached winx how to drive a motorbike (I didn't remember its real name, sorryyyyy 😭)... But here's a thing that makes me think about...
On one hand, in Red Fountain, specialists, expecially Helia (a saint!) made Riven reason just saying to him that if this fuchsia head continued with his attitude, he would lost Musa! (literally: "Be a better person if you truly love her and we all know you do!")
Instead, at the other hand, Musa confided with Aisha her problems with Riven... Aisha was, of course, a good person, but at this moment, in my opinion, she was the least person to give Musa advises, because she was in a big problem herself, an incoming arranged marriage, with someone she didn't know and, most of all, she didn't love... If I remember well, that was the dialogue between Musa and Aisha:
M: "How can you be together with a person who doesn't understand/believe/trust you?"
A: "Simple, you aren't together!"
Like... What?!
I mean, don't misunderstand me, anon, please, I'm the first person who thinks that, if you are with such a person, it would be a good idea to leave them and search someone better, but I also think that it would be worth considering talking, trying to understand what went wrong and trying to be a better person (don't change yourself, just improve yourself, just like Helia said!)... Then, if things don't change, the couple decides to take two separate ways... But Aisha didn't consider this option, and so neither Musa did (I'm sure if there was Flora, for example, instead of Aisha, perhaps musa would have received that advice too, like Riven)
Then, Nabu arrived, the man in the wrong place at the wrong time... And we see Riven's jealousy, thanks to a little mistake that Flora innocently did: she took a video with her phone and rec Musa's back who stayed with this stranger. So, who can stay calm when you "see" your partner "kisses" someone else, while you're trying to be better? I'll be honest: personally, I can't, like, hell, "I'm trying to improve myself, here, and this handsome hunk wooing my girlfriend?"
Totally a misunderstanding, but a comprehensible one, in my opinion. Finally, after understand what real happened, those two stubborn ones are on the same page, Riven learnt to be more sweet (?) and less proud (?), and it's a really big improvement, remembering the guy he was in season 1! Musa, on the contrary, learnt that if two people doesn't get well in the first months, for example, it's over! Let's change! Next please!
I take into analysis the first movie, where there are two kisses between these two, one in Riven's memories, and the other really, after the specialist states that he understood what was worth fighting for, Musa, and awwww 😍😍😍😍
(can't find their kiss in the movie, unfortunately 😔)
From here, I believe, a slow but steady descent began: from the fourth season I remember Musa falling in love with Jeremy... Jason... I don't remember his name, the music producer, jealous Riven, other squabbles between the two of them, this time Nabu tries to make Riven reason (another saint!), and eventually making peace at the end...
From here I gave up on seeing the episodes completely, I followed the scenes dedicated to them on youtube: Musa gets jealous of a blonde, but it was all because Riven wanted to surprise Musa by dedicating her a song... The sixth was a tragedy, with the two of them leaving permanently because the specialist doesn't feel satisfied and cannot pay attention to Musa... Obviously, I have not seen the seventh (you can imagine why 😅)... The eight I know they did a big improvement as a couple, there's someone, here on tumblr, that tells everything in two episodes all dedicated to Musa and Riven's relationship 😍
💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
At the end, was their relationship toxic? Yes and No? No, because if they decided to speak properly about their feelings, even with someone's help, they could work perfectly well together (just read what that person wrote about season 8, anon, you can find them on "Musa x Riven" tag here on tumblr); yes, because they received different advises... Both of parts have to work on themselves to be a healthy couple, according to me, not just one of them... Just my personal pov, you are free to say that I'm wrong: even if everyone in this world wants a wonderful relationship with someone, most of the time we have to improve ourselves, together, sometimes just accepting other's defects, sometimes helping them to work on their insecurities, to listen them, to be near them... In my opinion, Musa and Riven could give a strong message to children, they could teach that if both of you truly love each other just like the perfect couples do (like Bloom/Sky, Stella/Brandon, Flora/Helia, Tecna/Timmy, Aisha/Nabu (I don't take Lex because I don't know his character)) both of you have to work hard, together, don't stand firm in your beliefs, because that would be the most wrong thing. The writers, on the other hand, decided not to give the couple this chance... Alas, it could have been interesting...
I just hope, if the live action will do a second season or more, and they will make Musa/Riven real, they will fix this... I'm not sure they will do, but hope never dies 😁
I'm terribly sorry for the novel, anon 😅 I got carried away 😂 I'm sorry even if there could be typos here or there, I tried to write as perfectly as I could, but Idk how "perfect" it really is 😂😂😂
Thank you for the ask and have a good day 💖

Fallen Angel
⚠️ trigger warning, descriptive trauma, SA, Rape, gory.⚠️
Pt. 2
Recovery girl got done dressing my back and I got changed into some clothes that were provided by UA. "Knock knock." I heard Aizawa say. He opened the curtain to the bed area I had slept in last night. "Here, you need to eat." He said as he handed me a tray. Grilled fish, rice, some soup, and some milk bread, and a glass of orange juice, I silently prayed over the food that was given to me. I was starving, I hadn't eaten in at least a week. The food was delicious, I was trying to savor it but I just couldn't help the habit of scarfing it down. "Hey, slow down. You might choke." Mr. Aizawa said to me as he pulled up a chair to the bed. "If I didn't eat quick enough, I didn't eat at all, that's what happened while I lived with my father." I explained to him. He stayed silent and I finished my food quickly. "Ah, I see you've eaten, I hope that the food was good." I heard someone say. I looked around and I couldn't find who ever said that. "No need to be concerned. I'm principal Nezu, an officer will be here shortly to question you. But I would like to know how you got in." He said. I saw a white fuzzy creature in a suit. He had a scar over one of his eyes, poor thing. "I was... Thrown in quite literally. I'm not sure how from how far though. I haven't seen natural light for ages though, it feels great." I said as I looked out the window. "Who are you kid?" Aizawa asked me. "L/n, f/n l/n." I answered. "L/n, you've been missing for months. When did you exactly go missing?" He asked me tiredly. "February 9." I answered. "Do you know what happened?" Nezu asked me. I just nodded, I didn't want to describe the horror I went through. "You do realize the police will ask you that specific question, you need to be able to answer it, you might as well get the practice in." Aizawa said. "I know your trying to be sincere, but she is trying to communicate what she knows and comfortably, she might only be able to explain what happened when the police are here." Nezu explained.
"Sorry were running behind ourselves Nezu, I'm detective Tsukauchi. What's your name, how old are you, and what happened?" The detective asked all at once. "L/n F/n, 15, the day I was kidnapped was on my birthday February 9. My..." I paused and took in a deep but shaky breath, I had to remind myself that I am currently in safe hands. "My father killed my entire family in front of me and took me to be some kind of rag, sex, punching doll thing." I explained in very few but accurate words. My eyes burned as tears threatened to spill. "Thank you, I know it's difficult to explain what you've been through, Nezu, would it be okay for her to stay here until we locate her father and take him into custody?" The detective asked Nezu. "That would be good for her, L/n, what is your quirk?" He asked me. "She has two stubs on her back, they both were infected, I unfortunately couldn't start the healing process for them." Recovery girl chimed in. "So I couldn't fight back, my father... Cut my wings off, which weakens my quirk tremendously." I explained, a tear had fallen down my face. The thought that I had been weakened hurt me. "How exactly did your wings help with your quirk?" Aizawa asked me. "They take in the sound frequency and then amplify it to do anything I need to do, damage, healing, accelerating especially in the air." I explained to them while trying to contain my sobs. More tears fell down my face. "Thank you for your time L/n. Rest up for now, you'll stay in a spare teacher dorm." Nezu told me. Aizawa stayed while everyone but recovery girl left. "L/n, where did you go to school at?" He asked me. "I was home schooled after I was kidnapped, but before I was kidnapped I went to Nabu middle school." I told him. "Hmmm, I'll see if we can your transcripts and have you take a modified version of the entrance exam." He told me then he left. "Hmmm, it seems Mr. Aizawa is interested in your potential." Recovery girl said. "Why?" I asked myself out loud. "Honey, I don't know why, now lay down, I'm going to finish healing you today." She told me and the next thing I know I'm out cold.
The beatings, the rough hands of old men touching me, it all felt like a neverending nightmare. I finally forced myself awake. Something happened the glass had shattered all over the floor, alarms were going off, "Kid are you okay?" Aizawa asked as he rushed in. "Just a bad dream." I said. I hadn't realized I was crying. "Hey, he can't get to you here." He said as he moved closer to my bed. His hair was up in the air, his eye were glowing red. I felt calm all of a sudden for the first time in a long time. I fell back asleep without fear and without doubt, I was finally safe. No dreams to remember just the recent events me flying through a class room window and finally feeling safe. I woke up the sun was out and everything just felt okay for once. "Good your awake, I had one of my students get you some clothes while you were asleep. Go ahead and get dressed." Aizawa said as he got up and left. I got changed into a plain soft blue shirt, a pair of jeans, a flannel, and a set of socks and a pair of pair of black tennis shoes. I gathered all the other clothes and found a bag to put them in. I left the nurses office, and Aizawa was waiting for me outside. "Alright follow me, you might know someone from your school here, Shinsou Hitoshi." He told me. I was surprised he was here, everyone thought he'd become villain besides myself. "I'm happy to hear that's he's proving people wrong." I said with a soft smile. He stayed silent, "He wanted to see you. Recovery girl didn't think it would have been a good idea. So I'm going to leave the decision to you, do you want to see him?" He asked me. Shinsou wanted to see me, he was never much of a socialist back in middle school. "I think it might be good to see a familiar face." I said. He nodded and led me to a room. "Hitoshi Shinsou, please report to the conference room." I heard over the speaker. I was bored and decided to look out the window. A few minutes passed and a light knock on the solid door. "Hey, you..." A sleepy deep voice paused. I looked at him. He's bulked up since last time I saw him. "Y/n." He whispered. "Hello Shinsou." I replied softly.
A/n: sorry I haven't updated this in a few months, I've been busy with school. It's currently spring break for us. I hope you enjoy this update.

I finished season 5 so here’s my incoherent thoughts because I can.
So, they’re weren’t that many new characters this season. Tritannus was a meh kind of villain for me. His Nick voice didn’t exactly fit his character ngl. His motivations were pretty iffy I guess and his relationship with Icy is kinda weird. I liked how he’s Aisha’s cousin and seeing her cope with that. Roy, on the other hand, we didn’t see a lot of. But, I see some potential in him, but was pretty good out of what we saw. Both Tressa and Nereus are pretty good. Laura Bailey and Will Friedle did great with the voices.
Right off the bat, I liked that it started off right after season 4. You can feel that the events that happened last season still lingers, such as Aisha reminiscing and mourning over Nabu. You can tell she still loved Nabu and misses him dearly. When her family turned to monsters, you could tell that she felt crushed and betrayed. I also liked the Environmental theme.
I also really liked how some of the couples got more depth to them. Seeing Tecna and Timmy go on their first irl date was so wholesome to watch and her using the skills she learned to help out Flora with her slight jealousy toward Krystal being around Helia. Also, we got👏to see👏 more emotions👏out👏of👏Flora! So far, we’ve only really seen her happy and calm being The Mom Friend™️ So, seeing her show a more diverse range of emotions is really refreshing
.
The 2 transformations this season are Harmonix and Sirenix, which I really really liked. The designs are unique to each girl and I liked the spells used by the legs( aka the ones that include kicks). I actually really liked the 3D and think it made everything more colorful. I also liked that there’s a dark side to Sirenix. The designs for the Trix were good, imo. It makes everything that much more unique than the other transformations. Also, I think that Liz Gillies is the best voice for Daphne. Her voice is 👌👌👌
Characters wise, I liked how the girls and the specialists are more mature. They’re more sure of themselves and closer than ever. I liked us seeing more of the relationship with Stella and her parents. You can tell that she really wants them to be together. We got to see more of these characters that we already have feel in love with and it’s really cool. I kinda didn’t like the whole “Stella getting turned into a 5 year old” thing, but I liked Flora, Musa and Brandon babysitting her. Icy’s relationship with Tritannus was a bit weird. It felt weird that Stormy and Darcy were being ignored for fish boi. I liked seeing more Darcy and Stormy on their own. Seeing them being the sane ones and doing their own evil stuff GAVE ME LIFE! Jennifer Cody and Kimberly Brooks did an awesome job.
Overall, I might be in the minority here, but I liked this season. Ofc it wasn’t as good as the earlier seasons, but it was solid imo. The writing was hit or miss sometimes and the songs used were, ofc, bops. Seeing Stella’s fashion show really shows us how much she’s changed a BFF matured since the whole “5 year old” thing. I give this season a 7/10. I’ve heard that this season is pretty controversial but I can say that it’s better than s7, sooooo yeah.

Prince Sky Headcanons
He’s Prince Charming. The Golden Boy. The Hero we all need.
(I’m trying so hard to not be sarcastic dudes...)
Meet Prince Sky Grant of Eraklyon, The Future King. (Probably. We’ll see.)
(All of these are headcanons based on my main fics... But if you like them, by all means, borrow them. He’s so bland.)
-Prince Sky doesn’t exactly have a… Typical princely story. At least, not with how he came to be born. (There was no sweet prince fell in love with a princess story. His parents were arranged to be married… And found a little late that there was something they couldn’t do as rulers…)
-So they hatched a plan with Samara’s willing older sister… A secret surrogacy. (Sky is Erendor’s son… Just not Samara’s. Well, not biologically anyway.)
-But to keep up appearances and to keep others from finding out, Samara faked being pregnant so that no one would no any differently. (Even with his blonde locks, she could just say he inherited it from his grandmother… Which wouldn’t be a complete lie. Her mother was a blonde.)
-Sky grew up pretty sheltered, not allowed to leave the castle grounds until he was enrolled into Eraklyon’s Preparatory School. (Alongside Diaspro and her older brother.)
-He had a few other ‘chosen’ playmates, mainly children of nobility and his older cousin Thoren. But the only friend he was truly close too was Brandon.
-(That friendship was actually an accident. Brandon’s mother is one of Samara’s guards and his father works the main stables.)
-(Young Sky, about 8-ish, had went to check out the stables by himself because he was so sure he could do anything his guards could. He ended up running into Brandon who basically showed him how to saddle a horse and how to make friends with them, not really knowing that Sky was Prince Sky.)
-(Erendor was upset that Sky had left his lessons, but had been impressed that he and Brandon worked so well together and seemed to genuinely enjoy each other’s company. So with Brandon’s parents’ blessing, he made Brandon Sky’s squire and personal body guard. Putting him into school with Sky and putting him to training.)
-Sky really does enjoy horseback riding, something he seldom gets to do after he starts to really dig into his prince and warrior training. But whenever he’s home, he does try to take his favorite horse for a ride. (Her name is Delma, after his favorite childhood movie hero.)
-He’s fluent in about 13 languages and conversational in 2 others. (He really enjoys speaking Solarian. It makes him feel a bit more, airy and relaxed.)
-Yes, he’s trained in most traditional dances. No, he doesn’t enjoy it. (Yes, it does have a bit to do with Riven’s shit-talking.)
-Sky and Diaspro actually used to be friends as kids. They knew they were arranged to be married, but it didn’t really matter to them at first. That all changed when Diaspro left for a summer with her mother and came back… Very different. (Sky did worry about her, but he had his own issues to deal with.)
-Those people who came after Layla on Andros and who threatened Radius and Luna about Stella? The leftover Ancestral Coven members? Yeah, they sort of started targeting Sky after he turned twelve.
-He and his older cousin Thoren were having one of their adventures away from the palace, (something Thoren hated to do because he hated seeing his uncle pissed off, but Sky couldn’t be allowed to just run off like that).
-Two elementals showed up and started to attack the boys. Thoren’s weapon wasn’t much of a match and Sky was just starting to really get into training. They were nearly killed.
-In fact, if it hadn’t been for Thoren’s quick thinking with a smoke bomb, he and Sky would have died. He told Erendor about it, and that put Sky on lockdown. (He still blames Thoren for that, even though he now realizes as an adult that he would have been no match for a Coven trained assassin.)
-This was when he got Lady from Samara. Normally she hated having animals around inside the castle, they’re so messy you know, but for her son’s sake… She felt he needed a hound that could protect him. That was Lady.
-(Which is why Lady went to Red Fountain that first year with Sky and Brandon… And why Brandon and Sky had their switch.)
-(Honestly though, Red Fountain almost didn’t happen for Sky. He had to beg and reason with Erendor for two years straight before he and Brandon could go.)
-(His reasonings? “Think about it, Dad, I’ll learn different survival skills. I’ll learn combat, about different weapons and vehicles. I’ll learn how to be an effective leader with others from different realms. And I’ll be able to learn first-hand about other cultures, which could come in handy during diplomatic situations. And I’ll learn a bit how to take of myself, which is something we all need to learn, right?”)
-He got to go, but Saladin and his teachers were instructed to keep an eye on Sky and to send progress reports back to Erendor. (Any missteps, and he was supposed to be sent home.)
-Sky thrived at Red Fountain. He managed to make friends with people other than Brandon. (Not that he doesn’t love Brandon, but sometimes he needs other people’s opinions… Not someone who sort of follows him into the depths.)
-Timmy was one of the first friends he made. The two really bonded over the weaponry tech Red Fountain had and different tactical plans. (And Timmy introduced him to video games… Which was so much more fun than he had imagined them being. He loves co-op games the most, and has a thing for RimSky, an rpg game that lets him be a real hero.)
-Riven was… Challenging. It was great having someone who could actually (and would at every step) challenge Sky and his approach to situations. He really made Sky have to think things through and up his game when it came to training. (And Riven may have been the one to introduce extreme sports… And old fashioned’ alley fighting. And they both have a thing for their dragons and levibikes. You just have to get passed the surliness.)
-When Helia joined, Sky was unsure how he’d fit into the group. But he knows without a doubt Helia has their back. (And if Helia gives the best romantic advice? Who has to know…?)
-Nabu helped Sky learn to challenge his own teachings. Nabu, a prince like Sky, made a point to remind Sky that they are their own people too. That they way they’ll rule will not be exactly like their parents and that they need to learn and embrace their own styles of ruling. (“What legacy do you want to leave behind Sky? One of greatness or one of strife and hatred?”)
-Out of the girls, aside from Bloom, he hangs out with Layla and Musa the most.
-They’re both down to try new sports or new foods, and they are fantastic workout buddies. (When Musa bothers getting up on time…)
-He does identify hard with Layla and Stella though… It’s the royalty and expectations thing…
-At Red Fountain, Sky quickly realized he had a lot of unlearning to do.
-Like, he had to realize that not everyone views Eraklyon as the best place ever to live. Yes it stung. And yes, finding out why people felt the way they did about Eraklyon also stung. But it helped him open his eyes to the truth.
-(It’s a bit of a more… Controlling realm. And they are always looking for ways to expand/colonize in other places. Usually while looking through loopholes in the Council’s mandates.)
-He also had to unlearn prejudice against dark realmers/people with dark magic. All his life he’d heard about the Ancestral Coven and how evil all dark magic is… While at Red Fountain, he had to learn that it’s the people who make magic evil, not the magic itself.
-(And he sort of had to unlearn that he’s entitled to certain things because of his royal heritage. That was a bit hard, considering he grew up a bit spoiled…)
-His favorite classes at Red Fountain had to deal with tactical maneuvers, combat training, and beast taming. (His dragon from season 1? Yeah it’s at Eraklyon. His name is Bruno and he is Sky’s baby. Okay?)
-His skills with a bow and arrow suck and his blaster aim isn’t much better, but damn does he know how to work a sword.
-(Saladin says its because he’s Erendor’s son. That blades remember who wields them best.)
-Sky isn’t a good cook. Period. But he does enjoy trying foods from other places. (And attempting to try and recreate foods he loved best… Usually in disaster and with Brandon giving him the ‘seriously dude?’ look.)
-While he may seem like a goodie-goodie… Sky has done his fair-share of pranks in the Red Fountain halls. Usually against other squads. And with prompting/backing from Riven.
-Pranks he was part of: the Great Caffeine Heist (which they promptly fixed because of Timmy), the Great Egg Swap, the Gryphons’ Great Escape, the Simulation Switch, and the Great Bubble Wars.
-(In retaliation, Sky has had his fair share of punishments… Including one where some of the school’s wizard students cursed his hair to become like a mood ring for a whole week. And one where the other squads pretended that his squad had missed a whole weeks’ worth of lectures.)
-After graduation, Sky had started on his transitional lessons/responsibilities from Prince to King. However, they were put on hold after he left for Earth. (Which Erendor allowed because Bloom and the realm of Domino were wanting to help with the Last Fairy situation and he felt he owed them that much considering how he fucked up in the war.)
-(Sky had a huge moment of culture shock with Earth. Like who the fuck still uses gasoline-based vehicles? Or lead using guns? And the homeless and sick people? The education disparities? Like yeah, Eraklyon has a class issue, but even the lowliest people on the Eraklyon hierarchy gets a good education with new books and supplies. How behind is Earth?)
-(But thanks to Codatorta’s medieval vehicles’ training courses, he and the guys can handle this.)
-Also, he really does enjoy getting to see where Bloom grew up and learning more about how Bloom became who she is.
-(Yes there was so much he screwed up about in the beginning… But he’s doing his best to make up for it with her.)
-Sky just… he wants to be a great ruler and change the direction he sees Eraklyon headed in. He wants to be a better person than his father and be a more understanding King. He just hopes he isn’t too late.

Brandon and Sky swapping places is so dumb, like so fucking dumb
Just let me be annoying about logistics for a second because this has been bothering the fuck out of me for a while
Sky and Brandon look nothing alike, and look nothing like Erendor and Samara either: Genuinely how the fuck were Sky and Brandon able to switch places in the first place? Like actually?? Sky and Brandon dont look anything alike, the don't have the same skin tone for fucks sake. Even in flashbacks Brandon is always slightly darker than Sky (just dark enough to be able to tan, compared to Sky who absolutely gets hella sun burns). He has an entirely different undertone too, which also doesn't match Erendor or Samara!! So there's literally no way Sky has ever been able to make any appearance as prince anywhere before because he and Brandon look way too different for that to ever work. Neither of them look like Erendor and Samara either??? Erendor has dark dark reddish brown hair and almost black looking dark brown eyes, and Samara has fire hydrant red hair and bright green eyes. Sky looks nothing like either of them! Unless some fucking genetic magic happened, where Sky looks exactly like his grandmother and no one else, he ain't related to them!! And there's no fucking way that Brandon would pass as their kid, because as I've previously mentioned, he's darker than both of them, and despite what the show seems to think with Flora's parents. No, that does not happen. The only way any of this makes any damn sense is if one of them bitches cheated. Imma say Erendor, because if Samara was the one with royal blood she'd be too smart to marry someone as stupid as that motherfucker, so he's the one who's in the royal bloodline. Why does Sky look nothing like his parents? Bitch cheated with someone with strong as fuck genetics for blonde hair and baby blue eyes. How is Brandon able to pass off as Sky when they look nothing alike? No one's seen Sky or his mother before, who knows what either of them look like. Could be this. That is the only way this would actually work without everyone being immediately asking so many questions
"The Prince™" has never made a public appearance, and has never been seen: Sky would have to have literally never been in the public eye, or anything similar, ever in his life before s1. For multiple reasons. 1) The assassins that are coming after sky are based in Eraklyon. There is no point in switching in case of assassins on other planets if the people who want to kill you most already know you look like. Yoshinoya is from Eraklyon, if Sky wants to be safe people on Eraklyon would be the ones that should know the least about him. The only people who have been shown to want to harm Sky and Diaspro are people from their own planets. 2) Camera's and internet. There is no way that if Sky ever did make a appearance anywhere that his face wouldn't be immediately plaster every where. If Sky ever went to a gala, he'd likely end up on every tabloid in the dimension or at least Stella would recognize him. Neither has happened. Sky was likely just as sheltered as Nabu if he's such a prominent figure and no one knows anything about him. Same goes for Diaspro tbh. She also probably couldn't of been making real public appearances or Stella likely never would of flirted with Brandon because the fact that the Prince of Eraklyon is engaged would be common knowledge. (Well that just killed my Dia and Aisha childhood friends hc...unless Aisha knew her before Diaspro was moved into the Eraklyon palace....Headcanon saved!!) So in all likelihood, Sky, Brandon, and Diaspro all grew up in a secluded wing of the palace with high security and likely very limited access to technology. Or full access to like Google, but all social networks are blocked and no cameras sort of thing
Brandon had to be there too: if only so no one can point at Middle School records and go "hey isn't that the prince?" Brandon was likely homeschooled before being introduced as Sky's playmate, bodyguard, and probably other stuff too
That or this had to be going on as long as Sky been making public appearances: This is the other option. This swapped thing just could of been on a lot longer than implied by the show. I mean probably not? It's both a lot more effort and would cause a lot of unnecessary public fuss once the switch was revealed that would make for terrible pr. Keeping Sky and Diaspro in a highly secure location is just more likely
Erendor and Diaspro are the dumbest motherfuckers alive: AND THEN!!! THIS YEARS!!!! YEARS LONG FUCKING RUSE!!!! THAT HAD TO BE GOING ON FOR MOST OF SKY'S FUCKING LIFE IS JUST OVER BECAUSE TWO FUCKING PEOPLE CANT KEEP THEIR GODDAMN MOUTHS SHUT!!!!! DUMBEST MOTHERFUCKERS ALIVE IS NOT A STRONG ENOUGH DESCRIPTION FOR THE SHEER IDIOCY OF THIS MOVE!!! DIASPRO WALKING AROUND WITH A PICTURE OF SKY AND ERENDOR FUCKING YELLING IT ALOUD!!! CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY AND YEARS JUST FUCKING WASTED IN ONE MOMENT?!?!? CAN YOU??? THIS ELABORATE SCHEME WAS JUST SET ON FIRE!!! IT'S DEAD ON THE FLOOR!!! 16~17 YEARS OF WORK!! GONE!!! IF I WAS SAMARA I WOULD OF FUCKING STRANGLED THEM ON THE SPOT!!! I CAN AT LEAST BE CONVINCED THAT DIASPRO DID THAT SHIT INTENTIONALLY, BUT ERENDOR IS JUST BEING SO FUCKING STUPID IM SURPRISED HE DIDN'T ACCIDENTALLY KILL HIMSELF BY NOW
Do you ever think about the fact that Timmy absolutely knew: Sky told Timmy he wanted to be with Bloom and not his arranged fiance. Timmy is smart enough to know that servants, squire, gentleman in waiting, or otherwise, do not get arranged to marry princesses. He just knew. If he didn't know beforehand, he knew then. I just, he had to be chill with it! He wouldn't of stayed friendly with Sky and Brandon if he wasn't just chill with it. His reaction has to be somewhere between that's none of my business and we don't have time to unpack all that. Everyone is probably feeling so hurt and betrayed by the swap and Timmy's like "damn bro, that's crazy" because he fucking knew. He fucking knew. I'm in hysterics
#Samara cant be the one with royal blood because there's no way in hell she's married that man if she was#hes too stupid and too useless to her on every level unless if he was able to give her a ticket to being royalty#that is the only reason I can see her putting up with his dumbassery#rus chatters#winx sky#winx brandon#winx club#long post

Stella and Brandon’s wedding headcanons
They began talking about marriage way before they got engaged, but they thought of it as a distant event that would have occurred many years later. However, their plans changed after Nabu's death: this event affected them deeply, and made them ask "what if the same thing happened to one or both of us?" They wanted to spend their life together, but given their situation it was probable that they could die before they got the chance to. They thought a lot about it, and came to the conclusion that, given their situation, it was better to get married before something happened to them.
After decided that they wanted to get married, Brandon went to buy Stella an engagement ring. It wasn't difficult to pick one, because she had always told him that she loved trilogy rings, and that's exactly the type that he chose. Stella was estatic when she received it, and, hugging him, she whispered:"Thank you, darling. It's beautiful". To which he replied:"Not as much as you are". As for the wedding rings, chose a customized set of wedding rings with the sentence "You are my sun" inscribed in them.
They told about their engagement to their respective families first, and asked them to keep the secret till they announced it officially to their friends. Both of their parents were a little concerned about it, especially Radius and Luna. They were afraid that, by marrying so young, they could later regret it, and they would have suffered very much in seeing their daughter stuck in a unhappy marriage. After talking with them and having realised that this wasn’t a sudden idea, that Stella and Brandon thought a lot about it before making that decision and that they loved and respected each other, they gave their blessing.
Around a month after their engagement, during a party meant to celebrate the girls getting Sirenix, they made the announcement. They originally intended to telling them during the dinner planned after the concert in the first episode of season five, but then the Tritannus situation exploded and they concluded that it was better to wait. Apart from that, there was another reason: they were concerned about Aisha’s reaction. They thought that it would have made her sad to learn that they would marry, while she and Nabu didn’t manage to. They talked about this with her, and she assured them that the thought never crossed her mind. She was still sad about his death, but she was also happy for them, and wished them all happiness.
After informing the Winx about the news, Stella asked them to go shopping with her, and they agreed. Little did they know that the search for the dress would have lasted four weeks because of Stella's indecision. After having tried seventy different models, she made up her mind and chose a mermaid dress with long, lace sleeves (photo below)
She also wears sandals with medium heels covered in strass.
As for the hair, they are styled in the same updo she wears during the political summit in season five, with the addition of a pearl crown. A pair of moon shaped earrings and a bouquet of sunflowers and lilies complete the look.
They decided to get married on the anniversary of their first meeting, which is on September 3rd. The wedding took place on Solaria of course, and one week before Brandon received a royal title by King Radius.
Although Royal Weddings are usually hold in the native language of the planet in which they take place, the celebration can also be said in Magixian (the language spoken in Magix), which, just like English on Earth, is an international language. In the Magic Dimension, all schools are required by law to teach the basics of Magixian, so that people coming from different parts of the Magic Universe can understand each other. Since most of the guests come from different planets, the ceremony is hold in this language. However, since he is now part of the Royal Family, Brandon has begun to study Solarian, and is making big progresses.
The ceremony was short and moving, and everyone was about to cry for the whole time, even Griselda. After exchanging the rings, they turned to Radius and Luna to receive their blessing, which was said in Solarian. And after that, they were officially married.
Their honeymoon consisted of a trip around all of Solaria, in order to show it to Brandon, who never saw it before. The planet has a lot of beaches, royal residences of the past monarchs, modern cities as well as old towns from the 1500's, castles, museums and art galleries. They also considered to travel to Spain, but they decided to reserve that destination for later (they planned on going on holiday every year for their anniversary).

Some Riven x Musa x Layla Headcanons
That Just Won’t Leave Me Alone
I accidentally developed the idea of this OT3 a while ago and the feels hit me today so I decided to write out some headcanons. They are not “explicitly” together by the end of it as I did it more in a way that would have been possible to portray on the show as well. But you can fill in the more overt parts for yourselves. ;)
- Layla and Riven stay up all night watching over Nabu’s grave after his funeral. They aren’t exactly sure why they do that, both of them hoping that it will all turn out to be a nightmare and he’ll come back but both of them knowing that that is a foolish hope to voice so they just stay behind after everyone else has left and spend the night there in silence.
- The two of them have several nights over the summer where they will just get together and drink themselves into a stupor. Neither of them wants to talk about it so the other is the perfect company in which to drown their sorrow. Musa is getting worried about them but once Tritannus happens, they stop their drinking routine because they need to have their heads in the game.
- That seems to have a negative effect, however, since they are both more irate and antsy after losing their grief outlet. Layla has her family to worry about now that Tritannus is threatening them all and Riven is worried about both Musa and Layla (and the other Winx but his focus is more on the two of them) because they are constantly exposed to danger. Layla doesn’t mind (unlike with Roy) because she knows what feelings Riven is putting into his protective actions. She would give anything to be able to protect her family and her planet as well as the rest of the universe from Tritannus and she can use his help as well as that of the rest of her friends.
- Musa makes them both playlists that reflect on their relationships with Nabu to help them get through it and show her support. She is dragged back into her own feelings of loss over her mother’s death and she understands how hard it is on them. It is hard on her, too, and she wants to help but talking just doesn’t feel like an option so she turns to music instead. Riven almost destroys the whole dorm room while listening to the playlist but it helps him get out his feelings. Layla cries herself to sleep for weeks on end while listening to the songs but they do have a therapeutic effect on her and make it a little easier to hold herself together when she is hit with a bout of grief over something little someone says or does that reminds her of Nabu.
- The three of them spar together whenever they have time. Winx are busy with the Sirenix Quest but Layla and Riven both get frantic if they have to spend a day without intense physical activity so they find the time to spar together even if it is in the middle of the night. Musa sticks with them, mostly to help bring them both down and ground them in a more peaceful atmosphere once they are done. They don’t hold back while sparring but neither of them has hurt the other seriously despite that and they all agree that those sessions are both productive and relaxing for them.
- The first time he meets Roy, Riven grabs him while no one is looking and threatens him to leave Layla alone until she has processed everything and grieved Nabu properly at the very least unless he wants to disappear forever. Layla told Riven about Roy being sent by her father to protect her and how it made her feel (she understands her father’s concerns but she hates being treated like she’s fragile and Roy’s apparent fascination with her doesn’t help). Roy backs off after that on the romantic front but still tries to get to know Layla - and Riven - and he actually starts finding his place in the group.
- Riven turns to Layla when he wants to write and compose a song for Musa to show his appreciation for everything she’s been doing for him and his support for her while she’s dealing with her own emotions. Her encouragement is invaluable to him and she keeps things from falling apart between him and Musa while he is busy working on his guitar skills and actually writing the song. Layla helps him a lot with the lyrics and melody of the song to the point where he asks her to play it with him. Layla is on the drums while Riven and Timmy play guitar and Layla sings with Riven (and Musa) during the chorus. It turns out that Roy also plays the drums and he and Layla find another thing they have in common on top of their love for surfing (and sports in general) and their similar fighting styles.
- The budding connection with Roy helps Layla a lot during the summer while she is dealing with the aftermath of Tritannus’ actions. Roy knows a lot about Andros and helps her come up with strategies to restore the realm back to how it was before Tritannus started his attempted reign of terror. Roy is being a lot more respectful towards her feelings on the losses she and the entire realm experienced now and the two of them make a great team. Layla feels comfortable spending time with him even outside of their formal responsibilities.
- Meanwhile, Musa is on Melody to help the planet adjust to the consequences of the cultural shock that the attack on the Singing Whales and the Pillar of Balance was. She also spends a lot of time at home just absorbing the atmosphere and trying to capture it into her music in case something happens to her childhood home. She didn’t feel it right to bring her mother back but she can’t bear the thought of losing all the memories their house is imbued with in case it gets destroyed so she attempts to weave them into her music, even using magic to ensure the success of that endeavor. Music is her safe place after the shocks of losing Nabu and trying to help Layla and Riven through their grief and trauma while also dealing with her own losses and the scars that the near ruination of her whole realm caused.
- Riven is on Zenith helping Tecna with whatever there is left on the planet to fix after the clash with Tritannus. Zenith is pretty organized and efficient so there isn’t that much to do but Riven is relieved to be with Tecna because she doesn’t insist on talking about his feelings and he has a lot of those. He is terrified of what almost happened to both Musa and Layla while he wasn’t there to help them and he resolves to train harder to be able to protect them and all the rest of his friends. He wouldn’t bear to see any one of them suffer any more, not to mention lose them. Tecna helps him strategize to improve his efficiency in battle and she is the perfect embodiment of Zenith after her wish for empathy. Her quiet but friendly presence is soothing for Riven while the whole planet seems to warm up. It is the perfect atmosphere for him to work through his feelings.
- Musa and Riven soon fall into their usual dynamic of misunderstandings and lack of communication when Musa needs his moral support but refuses to actually talk to him while Riven spends all his time training because to him it is more important to ensure that Musa will be safe and he will be able to protect her. Layla is sorting out her own emotions and even though she tries to be there for them and help them resolve things, she has her own issues and it is not her job to babysit them and their relationship. They have to figure it out for themselves while she does her best to support both of them.
- Layla has strong opinions on Nex when they meet since he reminds her a lot of the impression Riven left in her at first, only - a worse version. She decides to give him a chance anyway because getting closer to Riven actually revealed other sides to him but she only ever regards Nex as a potential friend. He isn’t quite as bad as she originally thought him to be but he also definitely isn’t someone that she would want to be in a relationship with. She is spending a lot of time with Roy and she really likes him but, ultimately, she knows that she isn’t crazy about him. Being with him is comfortable but she is deliberately not letting herself get attached to him too much and that very fact tells her that he isn’t the right one for her since if she really loved him, she would have allowed herself to do so fully like she does with all of her friends despite the constant risk of losing them that she faces every time they have to fight a threat of universal magnitude. She tells Roy it would be better not to see each other.
- Musa and Riven break-up because they both feel like they are holding on so tight to each other for the wrong reasons. They are terrified of losing the other but they aren’t doing such a great job of appreciating them exactly because of those fears. So they decide to separate - meaning absolutely no expectations and demands towards the other - and do some soul searching. Riven actually keeps in touch with Roy since they started getting along decently and he knows that Roy is now the most removed one from the group while he is also on Andros so he may have more up-to-date information on how Layla and Musa are doing than the media (he is not spying on them, just telling Riven things he’s heard on Andros). Riven wants to keep his distance from the friend group but still wants to know how they’re all doing and Roy occasionally has news on the rest as well from when they visit Andros.
- Musa and Layla both spend a lot of time on their home worlds whenever that is possible and there isn’t an ongoing crisis and try to process their emotions while navigating political matters. Musa loves spending time on Andros with Layla and helping her out with her duties as heiress to the throne and Layla (and the other Winx) accompanies Musa during all of her concerts when Musa signs a record label as a single artist since they all agree that the band is just for fun and coordinating it along with all their other responsibilities will be nearly impossible. Musa truly opens up her heart and pours it all out into her music and she becomes a rising star on top of coming to terms with who she has become during her journey. The songs (and all the dancing routines that the two of them come up with together) help Layla make her peace with her trauma - both over Nabu and that from her childhood - as well.
- Riven comes back and proves to have done a lot of work on himself and he feels ready to love Musa now - feelings which she reciprocates. The two decide to settle on Andros to be close to Layla and help her out with everything she needs. Riven actually rises to the head of Layla’s personal guard and Musa has tours all over the Magic Dimension so she’d be on the move a lot whether she’d live on Melody or on Andros. Riven worries about her when she is on tour and he can’t go with her while he’s busy protecting Layla but he’s personally trained the bodyguards he hired for Musa and he trusts her to take care of herself so he settles for only calling her several times a day when she’s away and watching her concerts live on his devices together with Layla whenever the two of them can’t be there to see the show in person.
- Layla does not feel ready to get married or even be in a relationship with anyone besides Musa and Riven but she does want kids, especially after she proudly becomes an aunt to several children with Stella and Bloom going ahead and becoming mothers soon after their weddings. She is also supposed to make sure that Andros has heirs to the throne so she decides to adopt. She talks to Daphne, who adopted children as well, and even Vanessa to learn about their experiences and ask for advice. She wants to adopt at least two children because she doesn’t want her kids to be lonely and wants them to have someone they can always count on. Along with her, Musa and Riven, of course.
- Both Musa and Riven have big reactions to the news. They are supportive of her, of course - heaven knows the high society and the officials of Andros have already busied themselves enough with being critical of her decision - but they also have their own feelings to handle. Musa has to deal with the knowledge that she will adore Layla’s children (as she does with Bloom and Stella’s) and she will worry about them. That is the reason she still hasn’t thought about about having children herself. Or rather, she has been doing her best to avoid it while spending some of the best days of her life with Bloom and Stella’s children. She is scared of leaving the children orphans if anything happens to her and/or Riven (and that is always a possibility in their line of work). She knows that the rest of Winx will take care of her children if something happens to her but she has been through the pain of losing a parent and she doesn’t want her own kids to go through the same even if she managed to move on and pick herself up after her mother’s death. It is still a thing she carries with her every day and she does not feel confident in raising children with the heightened risk for her life.
- Riven totally panics because he doesn’t know anything about children and he will have to interact with them and take care of them. Not just because of his job as the head of Layla’s security, but also because he wants to be there for her and help her raise the children since it wouldn’t be easy for her to do it as a single parent. So he does the only thing he can think of and actually goes to Sky and Brandon asking for advice and a crash course on things he needs to know to be of help to Layla.
- Riven also picks up audio books on parenting and him and Layla both listen to them while jogging together or traveling towards the venue of a royal event. Musa is about as enthusiastic about shopping for the kids as Stella is and she’s also ready to write lullabies specifically for them (in case they are at an age where they will listen to lullabies). They both do everything they can to help Layla prepare herself and learn how to do things right themselves because they want to be there for her and be a part of the process. And they are both enthusiastic about doing it.
- In fact, their enthusiasm rapidly turns into conversations about having kids themselves - which makes Layla (and the other Winx) ecstatic because she is looking forward to helping them out as well - and it isn’t that long before they decide to make that step in their relationship despite not being officially married. They also talk about adopting as well as having their own children because they want to give a home to a kid that needs it. So the three of them end up raising their kids together and the children all think of each other as siblings and stick together no matter what.
