Liánhuā’s magic level is very powerful however can harm her if she uses too much so she doesn’t use it often and would rather use her hands to fight

2. If your OC is magicless, how do they defend themselves from someone attacking them with magic? Are they good at fighting?

Liánhuā is not magicless however she only uses it if needed so basically she could count as magicless. If someone does decide to attack her with magic she’s able to dodge since she was trained to defend and fight for herself at a young age. Yes, she’s good at fighting. (Why is she so powerful? I wanted her to be at least a very difficult obstacle for Quartz)

3. Your OC stumbles upon a dead body a few feet outside of the school. Do they report it?

Yes, she’ll report because she doesn’t want the other students to be harmed especially her close friends.

4. Which elimination tactic is preferred to use on them?

Matchmaking. It’s so far the easiest since she’s very wary of Quartz and you can get her likes, dislikes, and who she likes from her friends. You can mostly get the information by her close friends.

Liánhuā is either helping her mother, meeting up with friends/ hanging out, or disguising as her brother for information.

Liánhuā’s job is either training people to learn how to fight or she’s a florist.

She doesn’t mind talking with people. I wouldn’t say she’s a social butterfly or shy I would say in between. She’ll stay away from crowds if she needed but no she won’t really stray away from crowds.

7. Which TWST character does your OC believe should have more admirers than Azul?

She believes that Riddle or Malleus should have more admirers. Mostly Malleus since people are scared by him.

8. What are your OC's weaknesses? Are they easily manipulated? Easily overpowered by?

Liánhuā’s weakness is her family and friends since she wouldn’t want anything to happen to either of them. she’s not easily manipulated since she’s used to people trying to do that while she was younger. She’s easily overpowered by Malleus and Lilia

9. Why does your OC like their crush?

She admires Riddle a lot and had feelings so him when she was younger. (Yes, she also hanged out with trey and Che’nya when she was younger so met Riddle that way)

If Yuuka is in the au then she admires her for her strong, easygoing and responsible nature.

The Twst character that I could come up with that might have a liking to Liánhuā would be Malleus? Probably be like a figuring out thing thought since she’s one of the few people that would actually hang out with him.

11. Since reputation and popularity are kind of different, is your OC popular in and outside of school?

Yes she very popular even outside of school because a lot of people respect her and her family a lot.

12. Any drama, traumatic story for your OC in the AU?

Her father passed away when she was 8 and she met her younger brother for the first time when she was 7 due to him having some medical conditions since birth he’s all good now though. Also they’re like one year apart but doesn’t go to the same school since he prefers homeschooling.

The death of her father took a toll on her mother making her fall into a depression but got out of it. Many people have tried to manipulate Liánhuā’ since she was young which worked for a little but then backfired on them which lead to them trying to poisoning her. Which made her very ill and her family had to make her build up a poison tolerance.

If one of Liánhuā’s friends are killed or kidnapped she will be even more wary of Quartz since she has the idea that she’s behide all of the disappearing/murder cases and will carry either a gun, teaser or pepper spray on her if atmosphere is low or one of her friends disappear. If Liánhuā would to disappear or die somehow (you can probably do this if there is like a cheat thing like Yandere Simulator) then her brother will show up to school. He’ll be armed or be carrying any taser, pepper spray or gun. he’ll probably dislike Quartz a lot or be way more wary since Liánhuā tells stuff to her family. You can’t kill him since those are the consequences of cheating and the difficulty will be raised to the highest. His path switches everyday so it’s not consistent and Quartz reputation will lower everyday.

4. This one may be a stretch but I love reading the Sims 4 lore. There’s a character with a similar name to Adelina— Avelina who was Greg’s late wife. We’ve seen Greg fight Amir in that one episode and we know that Greg is miserable because he’s all alone now (lore wise). If they are related we know that Greg and Avelina used to be mooncasters (idk if it’s the same as spellcasters) before they became werewolves. Is there any link here or am I tripping? I mean I know you read the lore too because Lux DeMarco appears in Amir’s story (😉)

I did want to do a magic school type beat but that was a bit before I expanded the lore. Right now (In the next update, I'll touch on it a bit) Nora does NOT want Adie in the Magic realm or any of the sages to know about them. at all. i tried putting him in Dragon Age, in both Origins and Inquisition, but i just can’t make him fit in there for some reason. i reckon i could make him work as a Maharial Morrigan-mancer in origins with a bit of canon divergence and a lotta willpower (my own, not like. the games willpower skill you can level up) but that would require to play origins and that’s a pain by itself if i’m being brutally honest. i’ve tried him twice in inquisition with a lovehate cassandra romance that ends just So Bad but. and not to be dramatic here but. i genuinely think he would commit suicide immediately after closing that damn breach. like i just cant think of a single reason he would stay with those people.

wahhh, i had to leave the mysims rpc after a huge stupid drama blew it up (part of my decision to leave was due to me being busy with school anyway, plus it was just boring to continue in that fandom when half of my rp partners (2 people) suddenly blocked me) but my time in that fandom will always hold a very special place in my heart. it was the first tumblr rpc that i really got into, and it was back in the days of people actually interacting and sending out random asks and tagging their mutuals in random starters. even with only 5 people, a pet rock, and a shoelace in the fandom, the dash felt so vibrant and alive.

i had one ship that i really loved, travis & crystal, wherein i wrote crystal and my friend (at the time) joey wrote travis. they were high school sweethearts, the dumb blond jock boy & the bitchy sassy goth girl riddled with teen angst. and they were sooo cute 💕 i struggle to listen to songs about summer love without going back to them

i do wanna bring my mysims muses back someday, but i'm worried i'll never be able to recapture the magic that was The Thems, i'm sooo :(

my favorite thing about the rpc community is... honestly... just existing as a community. i love seeing everybody's writing and posts on my dash and being able to get inspired by those! while i write entirely for myself (and you should, too!) i find that my writing is better when i'm faced with other writing. there's just something about getting a really good reply from your partner, like when eli hit me with the line "an ouroboros of narcissism" or something like that, that gets me.

you know when you read something so good that your fingers get twitchy and you feel compelled to put them on the keys yourself? i live for that feeling, and it's something i don't get as easily in the fanfiction community. but in the rpc, that feedback loop is pretty much constant

AGH... how could you make me pick a favorite sim?? :( all of the residents of sunset valley (not you, thornton wolff) have me in a fucking vice. (i'm jk, even thornton gets me, but goddamn he is terrible, but that's what's fun about him. pretty much every time i play with thornton, i make him the biggest bitch imaginable)

but ig... my favorite sim out of all of them is probably mortimer goth. he's definitely gotten the most playtime out of all of the sunset valley townies. i love going against established canon and making him marry the ghost, lolita goth, in his backyard instead of bella bachelor like he's ~supposed~ to or whatever. sb pointed out that that was very twilight-ish, and i'm like. fuck it, idc, maybe twilight has a point. it is kinda freaky, but i think it's cute. weird but cute. let me live, goddamn!!

a very close second is agnes crumplebottom, mortimer's aunt. without player intervention, she will pretty much always die loveless and alone, despite having the "hopeless romantic" trait, and that breaks my heart :( so i intervene as often as i can bc i can't stand to see her die lonely :((

she's a recurring character from... i believe the very first sims game, although she didn't come in until one of the expansion packs. and she made her debut as a crotchety old woman who beat happy lovers who committed pda in front of her with her purse, which ok.......... queen...

but also with sims 3 giving us the backstory that her fiance died right before their HONEYMOON and the implication that she's only bitter about happy couples bc she feels she lost her chance at love... she got me like :(((

(also i just looked it up and i was right. agnes was first introduced in the expansion pack for the sims, "hot date." mortimer has also been in all 4 sims games released so far, in the very base versions of all.)

I was thinking for my story, about Rumplestilskin. (for anyone not following, you can find any infos in my pinned post ^-^) In short I'm making something inspired by Twisted wonderland, and Obey me (for the dating sim part...and some other details) in a world where Fairytales and myths are actual real story from the past.

But then, why does Rumplestilskin want that baby?

You know I don't even see him as a villain. He made a deal with the girl, fufilled his part as promised but she refused to do so... he still gave her a chance to cancel the deal by guessing his name and again she cheated (she never guessed it, a servant overheard it and told her). Anyway, that's not the subject here.

We knows stories about faes taking human babies. In my Legends of the Written realms, each fae race is unique and have their own specificity. As how the story of Rumple is, he should be a goblin... except that my goblin-faes have absolutely no fertility problems, it's rather the opposite, they reproduce like bunnies... so they would have absolutely no reason to take a human baby... so which race?

So I came up with a whole reason and decided that he was of the Fairy kind!

Fairy-Fae Reproduction: A Lengthy and Complex Process

1. Fertilization – The Slow Weaving of Life (10+ Years)

When a female fairy becomes receptive to pregnancy, she must bond magically with her chosen partner. 2. Pregnancy – A Hundred Years of Burden

Once fertilization is complete, the fairy mother undergoes a radical transformation, different from any other species. Unlike humans who carry their baby internally, Fairy-Faes carry their unborn children in an external cocoon-like structure, attached to their lower back or abdomen.

Cocoon Pregnancy: The developing baby grows within a translucent chrysalis that absorbs magic from the mother. The mother must nurture it for 100-200 years, ensuring a steady magical flow.

Draining Process: The cocoon constantly siphons the mother’s energy, making her weaker over time. Fairies in pregnancy often lose the ability to fly and must rely on others for protection.

Emotional Influence: The baby absorbs the mother’s emotions and magic—stress, sadness, or anger can physically warp the unborn fairy, sometimes leading to stillbirths or monstrous births.

Multiple Births: Fairy-Faes almost never have single children. Triplets or quadruplets are the norm, as their race instinctively produces multiple offspring due to the difficulty of pregnancy.

3. The Final Ordeal – Birth & The Mother’s Gamble

When the time comes for the fairy-fae to give birth, it is an extremely dangerous event, often resulting in the mother's death. The cocoons do not "break open" naturally—the mother must channel all of her remaining magic into the shells to safely "hatch" her children.

Energy Exhaustion: If she is too weak after centuries of sustaining the pregnancy, the birth process drains her life force entirely.

Failed Births: If the mother does not provide enough magic, the cocoons fail to hatch—trapping the babies inside in a state of magical stasis until another powerful fairy intervenes.

Magical Aftershock: The release of so much stored energy at birth causes unpredictable magical effects, sometimes warping reality around the newborns. This is why fairy children are often born with strange, unpredictable abilities.

Why Fairy-Faes Steal Human Babies

Because of their near-extinction level birth rates, Fairy-Faes have long sought alternative ways to sustain their population. Human infants, though not true fairy-born, are seen as perfect surrogates due to their fast development and adaptability.

The “Blessing” of a Fairy Child: When fairies steal a human baby, they do not simply replace it—they imbue it with fairy magic, transforming it into something between human and fae. These children age slowly, develop magical abilities, and often struggle to return to human society.

Fairy Mothers & Adoption: Since many Fairy-Fae mothers die in childbirth, orphaned fairy babies are often left behind. This is another reason Fairy-Faes take human infants—they need caretakers for their young and raise them as their own.

Though they still continue their own reproduction system to be sure there will always be some pure fairies.

That other Drayton gave me the nickname Pepperbreeze as a way to be specific when talking about Crispins from other universes. He also calls me Pepperdeer sometimes if he wants something shorter to type, haha.

One of my Sims OCs (to be specific MLP FiM)

Yeah, you read that right... as cringey as it sounds I made a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic OC waaaay back in 2014. Now that's a story...

That was when the big "brony" phase was at its peak. Alright, yes, I was a brony, okay let's get that out there now. I was never crazy into the fandom or anything, just a fan of the show. Particularly the original seasons 1-2 with Lauren Faust. Saw up to like the 4th season and slowly fell out of the series. But just because I fell out of it, didn't mean I stopped enjoying playing with my sims of the characters. I created sims of the main cast of characters in 2012 when I first started playing Sims 3 and they've been one of my favorite households since. What can I say? They're very well written characters that develop nicely into Sims.

That's the funny part actually. They're coming from uhh ponies, so making a sim is basically taking their personalities and designing humanized forms around them. In 2014 my friends and I designed ourselves ahem, "pony OCs", which we then converted into humanized sims as well. Our OCs were/ are very punk based. Think Rowdy Ruff Boys to Power Puff Girls kinda thing. We even named them the "Equestria Boyz" yeah... *coughs*

Aaand yes, elephant in the room, he looks like a BLUE Noctis... I swear I had him with this hairstyle since 2014 when I made him in Sims 3 way before I really knew what FFXV was! (that game had a seriously LONG development cycle, still kinda funny someone made a Sims 3 Noctis hair so many years before the game actually came out.)

There needs to be more Danny Phantom/Monster High shit, man.

Not just with him suddenly there, but maybe it could be set after Phantom Planet? Except, Danny waited until they were all home to reveal himself to his parents so, only they learn of his identity & not LITERALLY THE WHOLE EFFING WORLD!!

Anyway, Phantom is now the new biggest star in both the human world & the monster underground.

Also, just like how there are rotten humans & rotten ghosts, there are also still plenty of rotten monsters. That's why the more civilized monsters need an underground.

Anyway, because ghosts are now a very widely known thing the monster underground just decides, "might as well show ourselves" & that just causes further chaos.

Or maybe Amity gets its own monster underground. I wonder what it'd be called; "Calamity Park?"

Maybe because of this the Fentons send Danny to New Salem so he can better get to know this side of himself? Either way, I like to think that the ghosts of Monster High are all ectoplasm-based ghosts like the ones in the GZ, but they're all Pales, which are like Harry Potter ghosts, but they can become solid, but not much else. They're pretty weak all things considered.

Also, I get that this is sort of Draculara's thing, but I always thought it stupid that she can just abstain from blood & be totally fine nutritionally. That takes away from the entire appeal of vampires.

Why not make it a moral dilemma? She doesn't want to drink blood but she has to in order to survive, so she, like, has it baked into desserts or made into smoothies so she can pretend it's not there. However, in order for her to choke it down, there can't be so much that she can taste. But baking it makes the blood not as nutritious while only having a small amount also doesn't meet her nutritional needs & that's why she hasn't developed any of her vampire powers yet. She's actually severely malnourished.

Like, she wishes there was a truly vegan option, but there simply isn't one for vampires. As it stands, they are obligate hemovores.

Side-note: You could make this a crossover with the Supernatural Trio AU where Tucker's a cyborg & Sam's a vampire with magic powers. Here's my version of it:

Or the Transformation Trio AU where Tucker's a werewolf & cousin to Clawdeen, Sam's a freshwater mermaid, & Jazz is a fairy.

Personally, I'd mix the 2 aus' version of Tucker. Like say, Tucker had the werewolf gene but before it activated, he was made into a cyborg via nanotech & when it does activate, he comes out looking a bit more jackle-like in appearance to go with his Egyptian ancestry/the fact that he's the reincarnation of Duul Aman. Also, I feel like his aesthetic could eventually become Egyptian cyberpunk.

As for Sam, she could either be 3/4 vampire via legacy with wiccan magic or become a freshwater mermaid, but not both.

If she goes vampire, make it so she & Draculara vibe over hating having to consume blood (though, for slightly different reasons) & Sam being an alchemical heiress & this spurs Sam into crossbreeding those Plasma Fruits from the Sims 4 from blood blossoms after discovering that sprinkling dried & ground blood blossom flowers onto normal food makes it edible for hemovores. However, it still doesn't have the right nutritional value/minerals that blood does. So, she uses the botanomancy she learned from Undergrowth to crossbreed blood blossoms with vegetables & fruits that have high protein, zinc, ect.

Either way, I really like @spookberry​’s MH Redesign for Danny. I may not agree with all they support, but they have a fantastic sense of style. Here it is:

TS4: Werewolves

so I just got the werewolf pack for Sims 4 and am trying it out.  Had to come up with a character to play so I went with

Jason Todd.

I don’t know, maybe after he got relifed he ran away to Werewolflandia instead of going back to Gotham.  Anyway, got him moved into a cute little house (the world only has three livable lots, think of it as another Glimmerbrook) and bought a punching bag and a telescope for him.  No, an actual human sized telescope.  Like we used to be able to get in Sims 3.  I’m pretty stoked about it actually. 

So on the upside, the world has two social lots and one of them is a library that’s also a gym.  Needless to say, Jason was on the spot for it.  We also met the cute librarian and got our flirt on, so that was nice.

She shouldn’t be allowed to dress herself but to be fair, none of the sims should.  We’ll mess with CAS later.

The other lot is a pretty sweet outdoor bar, which I’m interested to see how that works come winter.  The bar/truck thing is pretty cool though and the bartender is also a cutie.

Yes, Jay also got his flirt on with her.  I’ve got Wonderful Whims installed and when he finds someone cute I just let him go for it.  What I like about the bartender is

She’s got some really obvious scars on her face and arm and once you get her talking you’ll find out she was attacked by a werewolf but didn’t want to turn so she got the cure made and now offers it at her bar for anyone that needs it.  I really like characters with some backstory going on.

Anyway, there are two werewolf packs in the area apparently, one more straight-laced than the others and there’s some interesting backstory lore having to do with a Century War and Vampires vs. Magic Users vs. Werewolves (maybe).  I did like the bit about magic users learning magic originally from their canine familiars and there’s a relative of Lilith’s living there as well so that’s interesting world building.  I honestly spent most of my time though running around trying to get Jason bitten.  To which point, there’s a bunker/rabbithole (like the crypts in TS3 though I suspect its probably actually a gateway rabbithole and I just haven’t made the right choices yet) that you can explore.  The first time I went down I found a tuna casserole which I was pretty excited about since Jay can’t cook at this point but it was spoiled by the time we got home.  The second time we went in though it was a full moon which is apparently the trigger and we got attacked!!

So there’s certain classic families that appear in each iteration when they do a new Sims, one of which is the Pleasant family. It’s supposed to be ironic - they’re called Pleasant and they have a lot of problems. In Sims 2 Daniel Pleasant was having an affair with their maid, and his wife was pre-engineered to come home from work early and catch him. Their girls are a good twin/bad twin dynamic with names to match, Angela and Lilith.

So Maxis made an official recreation of this Sims 2 family that can be added to your Sims 4 neighbourhood from their gallery. I didn’t really want to play them so I just put them in a house to run around in the background and see if anything emerged out of it. This is what Maxis sets the twins’ traits as:

Angela’s are Foodie and Neat, two generically nice traits for an easy sim. She likes food, and keeping things clean. Lilith’s are Loner and Kleptomaniac, meaning she’s anti-social and likes to steal, obviously setting her up as a delinquent. Teens only have 2 of their 3 traits, they get the 3rd when reaching young adulthood. Also, another version of these twins exists in an expansion pack and assigns them there the canonical traits of Good for Angela and Slob for Lilith.

Now, I like progressing the families that ship with the games. I also generally like to subvert the intention for them. (There’s a household with a blurb that tries to nudge you into a love triangle with friends Summer and Liberty both wanting their roommate Travis. Instead I put Summer and Liberty together and got Travis alien pregnant). So, I figured if I were to do anything with the Pleasants I don’t care much about the parents, Angela is boring, but I want Lilith, the one they’ve Decided is a misfit, to ultimately get that successful happy life.

So when dooping around with the families from the magic & wizards pack, the Charm family has a teen called Gemma who I wanted to pair up with someone. Right away Lilith seemed like a good idea. How fitting is it that the black sheep goth twin of a perfect facade suburban family run off with a literal gothic witch?

Once they’d both aged up to young adults I introduced them and got a romance going. But then I realised - I let the Pleasant twins age up automatically. The game has assigned them their last trait - at random. So I had to go check what they’d ended up with.

Lilith was given Goofball. I love that. She might not be very social but there’s no reason she can’t have a robust sense of humour with her close friends. And Angela?

...you have opened my eyes to a vast universe of VintageBeef lore that I was unaware of. I knew about the New Hermit Order, of course, and the UHC invention, and I've watched a few of his CTM things but -- I will take all the info and lore you feel like giving out because Beef is amazing and my knowledge is so small.

So the thing is, right, until about 2016 I only watched two (2) youtubers- Vintagebeef for Minecraft and aDrive for Pokemon (and funnily enough both of them are named Dan irl). So I've watched most of Beef's videos over the years and have a general knowledge of most of his stuff, except because it's been like a decade I don't remember where most of the lore comes from XD

The thing with him is that he doesn't do Lore tm the way other mcyters often do lore- he doesn't have an extensive RP series to draw from like Grian, doesn't have a solo world with steadily increasing amounts of lore like Etho or Zisteau, and while he's played on SMPs and been involved in storylines before it's not really the focus of his episodes unlike with Evo or Legacy or Empires

So where does that leave us?

IRL, Beef always has multiple series running at the same time. Often he's playing on an smp while doing a singleplayer, often modded, series as well as a CTM or modpack with a group of friends. For example, right now he's playing on Hermitcraft, doing weekly Pixelmon and Building a Zoo episodes, and a CTM map with Slip. And to me, this translates to one thing: Beef is an adventurer. He travels frequently- he explores a world and when he decides he's done, he leaves for the next one. That's the basis of my personal interpretation of his series and his character for my writing.

Ok so reading this back, this got extremely long and didn't explain much in the way of lore, somehow? If anyone has any additions to add please do so, I am very definitely leaving out a lot and would love to see what other lore people remember and are using for Beef! I didn’t include the Hermitcraft stuff since my memory of season 4 is blurry (his base was themed after the Martian, that much I know, and he and Iskall were buddies :D) and most of the s5 NHO lore is best watched from Bdub’s perspective from what I remember, and the only s6 stuff is a single line in Hermitgang and then the Area 77 arc with its possibility of an NHO reunion which we did not get rip. And s7 of course had the cloning machine and also the Podzol Party as the main lore. So all the original rambling is still below the cut though it is very long, and I'm gonna bullet point the main stuff here instead:

Is a car nerd (irl and all of the car games he's played)

Is a highly experienced adventurer who has traveled through dozens of worlds both vanilla and modded, across multiple dimensions (Twilight Forest, the Aether, the Betweenlands, Limbo), completed dozens of monuments, fought in blood sports, survived apocalypse after apocalypse, tamed dinosaurs, and played a lot of prop hunt and golf with your friends

If you're looking for what to watch for lore purposes, I'd say the Mindcrack UHCs and Team Canada's RAD series are pretty good, definitely Sourceblock and HC s5, plus the Diversity CTM maps and Ruins of the Mindcrackers maybe? And Mindcrack Prank Wars for the chaos and the origin of Team Canada. And if you can handle horror than the Forest is fun and if you don't do horror you can watch the Pojkband play golf or prop hunt they're hilarious I love them sm I want a Pojkband reunion So Bad 

Beef's first series was a singleplayer series in beta 1.4_01 though he had played the game extensively before that, and was a big fan of Guude, having watched his own Minecraft videos. The series was functionally a hardcore one where if he died Beef would delete the world and start again! I haven't actually Watched this series so idk if he died or how often lmao. When Guude made Mindcrack, which was btw one of the very first Minecraft SMPs, he also hosted a competition for people to join, and Beef submitted a video (which is still viewable on his channel I believe!) and won, and was added to Mindcrack in season 2 :D (fun fact, Guude said that even if Beef hadn’t won he would have added him anyway) 

Two running jokes emerged from Mindcrack- pulling a Vintagebeef and Beef doesn't have legs. The first is a reference to Beef dying of fall damage (I believe the exact instance was him trying to jump into his swimming pool and failing spectacularly) and after the incident, every time someone died of fall damage they were pulling a Vintagebeef. The second joke comes from Guude, who joked that the reason Beef wasn't going to a convention was because he didn't have legs, and then he pranked Beef's base by building a giant pair of legs at the entrance to his castle so you had to walk between them to get into the base. This joke has long since died and both Beef and Guude feel pretty bad about it iirc because there were people who genuinely thought Beef was disabled and were emailing him supportive messages and stuff oops. So if you go looking on the Salad or find old Mindcrack fics, you might see references to Beef having prosthetic legs!

Mindcrack also brought about the creation of several Player groups- Team Nancy Drew, Team Canada, and GOB to name a few relevant to Beef. Team Nancy Drew consists of Beef, Pauseunpause, Guude, and Baj, who formed to investigate a prank on one of the members but I forget who. They're named Nancy Drew after the detective! Team Canada also formed in retaliation to pranks, with it consisting of Beef, Etho, and Pause, the three Canadian members on the server (not including Adlington who moved to Canada but never joined the group). There was also a Team America who pranked them with American flags everywhere. GOB is Guude, OMGChad, and Beef, who played stuff like the Ragecraft, Pantheon, and Monstrosity ctms together but that's way down the line lol

Team Nancy Drew is also notable for inventing UHC. It was Beef's brainchild but it was the four of them who first played it! The first UHC had the four of them working to kill the dragon with no natural regen, with everyone dying but Beef, who "won" the UHC. The second uhc was still dragon focused and iirc is where Beef married the dragon? Memories are hazy but they do kill the dragon in this one I think. UHC was then revamped as a pvp event and became a regular Mindcrack game every few months, featuring most of the Mindcrackers and several special guests, including Dinnerbone, who as we know Thanos-snapped Doc's arm out of existence as a result of Doc killing him in one of them

In one of the seasons of Mindcrack, Beef invited swedish Mindcracker and good friend Anderzel to go caving with him and invented ABBA Rules caving, where the winner takes it all. ABBA Rules is a game where each ore (and also dungeon loot like nametags) is assigned a point value and the person with the most points at the end wins and gets to keep all the stuff collected from the game.

In Mindcrack season 3?, Beef punched the ender dragon in an... awkward area, so when the dragon died and left the egg behind, Guude said Beef was the father of the egg XD I don't remember if I watched s3 so I have no idea if anything Happened with this concept but *history of the world voice* you could make lore out of this!

So Team Canada has played a Lot of CTM maps (which fun fact were pretty much invented by another Mindcrack member, Vechs, with his Super Hostile series! Super Hostile has a bunch of things called "Zistonian", which are references to another Mindcrack member Zisteau, who has a very wild singleplayer series with even wilder lore but I digress). In Ruins of the Mindcrackers, they had a running joke that Beef was Etho and Pause's mom, which is a joke we can leave in the past actually /lh. They also played all the Diversity maps, Sky Factory, Terra Restore, Uncharted Territory uhhh and a couple more ctms and adventure maps! Each map kinda has its own story so in Diversity 3 for example they were trapped in a simulation? I think? Team Canada also recently played the Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons modpack, aka RAD, in which Beef was a wizard with a magic staff that could do anything from summon lightning to control hostile mobs.

Sourceblock SMP is a vanilla survival 1.14 series that ran for one season and the series starts with each of the Players being drawn to a strange sparkling water source that, once they touch it, brings them to the Sourceblock world. It also summons a giant zombie at one point. There's probably more lore for this series but like I said I haven't watched it all the way through yet 

He has a Patreon server called VintageCraft and has done a series or two on there as well, and played a few UHCs with them, so lore that how you will! 

Beef also played a few popular mods, notably Pixelmon, Life in the Woods, and Feed the Beast, with LitW being singleplayer and the other multiplayer. He's also recently played the Zoo and Wild Animals mod a lot. He did a short series with the Minecraft Comes Alive mod where he married one of the villagers and had two children, so that's canon now :D he’s played a Lot of Pixelmon starting when the mod first came out iirc (he chose Turtwig in his first series and built a Grass gym, then made a Normal gym in another series in uhh 2016) and he still plays to this day. Quite a few Hermits played on his Pixelmon servers with him, like Wels, Etho, Iskall, Stress, Slip, Zueljin, and also Guude and Phedran (a Mindcrack adjacent player and creator of the LitW modpack) and a few Mindcrackers on the older servers 

Mindcrack and friends played a lot of other games too- 7 Days to Die, Ark Survival Evolved, Unturned, to name a few, so you can pull a lot of lore out of these as well. Speaking of friends and non-Minecraft games, Beef teamed up with Pause, Keralis, and Slip (a former Hermit) to play the horror game the Forest, which saw them stuck on an island trying to survive against terrifying mutated human... things. They played it a few times as the game updated but as afaik it's the first time Beef played with Keralis and possibly Slip and since the game starts with the Player's airplane crashing, that could totally be how Beef first met them in-universe

1.favorite fic

reread a bunch of my joukai week from last year and final countdown is something i had in my head for a long, long time originally it was supposed to be the end of a longer form fic that i trashed and i'm very happy i managed to get the momentum i needed for that finale

this one was way too hard i had to scroll through all the things i've written, wips, and things i've never posted but i forgot my favorite thing in the world is to write pegasus so here's a bit from the secret archives

Duke had met Samantha R. Pegasus only in the safety of the huge estate just outside the city, where it seemed she had a whole wing to herself. Sometimes, at parties, she’d jump around and bark happily at the guests until a butler picked her up and quietly put her in another room. Duke tended to avoid dogs. They weren’t afraid of them, per se, but they weren’t going out of their way to make friends.

“I blocked off the afternoon to finish the coding on the Millennium project,” they said. “The deadline’s coming up–”

Pegasus held up a hand. “Don’t worry your pretty head, dear Duke. Samantha here is a remarkable companion during crunch time. You’ll barely even notice her.”

Duke sucked in a breath. There was never any arguing with Pegasus. Once he told you to do something, that was it.

“I guess,” they said, “if it’s just for the afternoon.”

“Marvelous!” He kissed his dog again and set her on the pillow. He slung a pink tote from around his shoulder and held it out to Duke, who took it reluctantly. “There’s her midday snack in there, along with her spring water–she just won’t drink from the tap–and her harness and leash for when she needs to take her afternoon walk. She usually goes around 3. Just around the block should be fine.”

“Walk?” Duke opened the bag and stared in horror. “But–”

“Her little baggies and booties are in there as well. She’ll be a dream, Duke. You’ll see.”

Their mouth dropped open, but they couldn’t come up with an appropriate protest. Pegasus laid a hand on their shoulder, and they stared up at him.

“She’s more precious to me than anything,” he said. “Except perhaps this company, or my home, or my oodles of money. But still very high on the list. There’s no one else I’d entrust her too.”

Duke swallowed. “Of course, sir.”

“Good.” He flipped his hair back and blew one more kiss to Samantha. “Be good, darling. I’ll be back in no time. Toodles!”

Duke waved a hand at his back and offered a weak, “Toodles.”

i don't really have a go to album for writing i tend to make playlists that fit the mood/tone/vibe though i do think this year i relied on the crypt of the necrodancer soundtrack to drown out distractions

21.most memorable comment/review

this one is not actually yugioh related i also have a sims tumblr and mostly for myself i started a series where several premade sims go to magic high school together. i wrote a sort of episode one for it and was surprised by an incredibly sweet comment that highlighted one of my favorite things to write, which is a dynamic. i expected minimal response and to get such an excited comment for something so silly made me really happy.

and all of this has reminded me how ugly my blog is lol so new year new me i suppose. thank you for the ask!!!
