I just had a realization about this session… is Wild Life the only season when only one person died in the first session with perma death?
I might be remembering things incorrectly, but I’m pretty sure each season multiple people went out in the episode with the first perma death…
Which means Jimmy survived a session past the first perma death. He’s done it folks!!

Studying linguistics is actually so wonderful because when you explain youth slang to older professors, instead of complaining about how "your generation can't speak right/ you're butchering the language" they light up and go “really? That’s so wonderful! What an innovative construction! Isn't language wonderful?"

But apparently not#I guess she only matters when it comes to marrying Edward and Promoting Her Family and scheming against Richard#There is very lacking interest in her beyond those things even in her traditionally negative depictions#And most of her “reassessments” tend to do diminish her so badly she's rendered utterly irrelevant and almost pathetic by the end of it#Even when some of these things *are* mentioned they're never truly emphasized as they should be.#See: her formal appointment in royal councils. sometimes I’ll see a pairing that I so desperately wished I liked, but when I look at it, it’s like. Everyone shipping it seems to treat it like a cute sweet normal pairing, when it seems blatantly obvious to me that it would be a complete trainwreck that would crash and burn sooner than coalesce into a healthy relationship, considering the characters actual canon personalities.

It's been weeks and I'm still not over it and just such a lazy way they put Hanzo's hat on Kuai Liang and said: here, this is Scorpion now.
Like I wouldn't mind Scorpion!Kuai Liang so much if it only made sense 😭😭😭
Why does he have Japanese-style armour. Because of Harumi? (And don't even get me started on pairing him with Harumi). Why does he fight with the Shirai Ryu techniques (Shirai Ryu doesn't exist yet?), when he's been raised in the Lin Kuei. WHY ARE OTHER SCORPIONS KUAI LIANG. Why do they have his voice and his face.
