I know that life experience make a person who they are. That it defines their strength. Strengths that so many people wish they had. Because they see someone like me & they see the “resilient” woman I've become. They see the strength I've acquired from all the pain that I've been carrying. Through all the things in my life that I have had to go through. & most days, I feel that strong woman that everyone else seems to see. 

But somedays I just feel like I am harden from all the trauma. Maybe that's the reason why I am so hard to be loved? I don't let anyone inside. I don't let anyone get remotely close to being able to hurt me. But why? I’ve already experienced pain that can last a lifetime. So whats another thing to add to the list? I am scared. I am scared to face the bullet in the mirror because I don't know that’ll bring of me. I keep myself busy at almost all hours of the day so I don't have to feel the emptiness inside of me. The loneliness, I just want to be small for a second. Someone to hold me when I weep, telling me it’ll be okay.

Oh what a wonderful thing it is to have so many people look up to me because of the things I have gone through & how far I've came from them. I used to dream of being able to coach people, being able to be heard & followed, to have admirers & fans. 

& somehow nothing fills the voids. It is exciting & it makes my heart happy to be able to help others find a calling to their happiness. 

But it leaves me wondering, is there anything else left for me? Another lover? Another love in this lifetime? Another chance at being loved? Will I ever be away from the pain enough to feel the joys of being happy? Because if I am, what more do I have to do to just feel it again?
