like, she shows up and all her pokemon are perfectly fine with max hp but she's always injured just for the excuse to see them

they keep telling her that she can still visit and that she doesn’t need to be hurt to see them, but she does not listen smh

Life gets easier for Junko when they put the Pokemart and the Pokemon Center together. Especially in Alola where there's also a nice little cafe.

(She still gets hurt anyway, but now she gets a nice cup Tapu Cocoa or Komala Coffee when she visits!)

Following an accident, Danny wakes up in Gotham City in a DC universe. Lacking any forms of ID or possessions beyond the clothes on his back, he’s forced to commit some crimes to survive. Minor crimes, but still.

And then he gets caught.

During the court proceedings, they come to the mistaken conclusion that he’s a Meta suffering from some psychiatric issues such as Cotard’s Syndrome (a real rare condition where a person holds the delusional belief that they’re dead/don’t exist/etc).

Thus, between his “need for mental treatment” and the concerns about housing someone with his unique physical traits, he is sentenced to spend time in Arkham Asylum. He’s under pretty low security aside from the anti-Meta stuff and has more freedoms than some other inmates, but it’s still not a great experience. Even at the best of times, Arkham is hardly a nice place.

Some of his fellow residents are decently chill all things considered, but lots very much aren’t.

sctir is such a good story if you're obsessed with worldbuilding Implications because yoojin is also Constantly thinking about that stuff. He's just a (previously) regular guy who has to live in this weird urban portal fantasy world so he cares about stuff like tax brackets and zoning laws and fair contract-writing and alternative uses of everyone's crazy supernatural powers. I can't count the number of times I started thinking "wait, couldn't you-" only to have it answered the next sentence. When his internal monologue mentioned dungeon resets being used for public waste disposal i practically cheered

so the insomnia mv was edited together in a purposefully ambiguous way, with scenes that are nonchronological or metaphorical, representing fuchi's chaotic mental state.

first there's the shooting

then this shot of a truck driving itself

which then cuts to the seven car pileup

and then transitions to the news story covering it, presumably the next day

translation: indiscriminate shooting with a model gun at shibuya scramble crossing. an indiscriminate crime?

below that: passenger car, truck, minivan etc. involved in seven-car serial collision incident

the date and time is 11pm on the 28th of march, which happens to be 1 hour before what I'm assuming is fuchi's 18th birthday

sidenote: this crossing is literally the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world

anyway the police come for him and he runs for it.

'under arrest: occupation unknown, suspect fuchi sunao (18)'

then there's this sequence of him wrestling for control with his inner child, which is obviously not meant to be taken literally

along with this shot of him tumbling down the stairs into the path of a truck

however, that stairwell is nowhere to be seen in the shot after he's actually been hit by the truck, and if you look closely he still has both shoes on his feet

so we can infer that the whole sequence did not happen in reality

then there's this newspaper from the 30th of march. the headline says 'successive accidents in tokyo'. on the right: 'collision with a driverless* truck' and on the left: 'accident in the same spot as...' (cut off) *literally: in motion with no driver(human), not referring to self-driving technology

the words are blurry but basically the right part describes the seven-car pileup from the 28th again, and the left part describes fuchi's collision with the self-driving truck. the good news is at least the pileup doesn't seem to have killed anyone, with the text describing 10 people with light to severe injuries, and 2 people in a coma.

the caption to the left of the photo says it's the scene of the accident, taken at 11pm on the 29th in shibuya, tokyo

so yeah piecing all that together, fuchi went on a sleepwalking shooting spree with a model gun on the night of the 28th of march, caused a massive traffic accident that injures several people, presumably just??? left?? and went home?? they just let him? i guess all the people ran away or were too busy dealing with the 7 smushed cars. then on the night of the 29th he sees the news on the tv, the police knock on his door and he runs. one mental breakdown and dreamworld sequence later he ends up getting hit by a truck in the same intersection as before.

edit: as some in the notes have pointed out, the truck is reported as 'driverless' because his zingai mr. creepypasta was the one driving it, and it's invisible to most normal people. it's also foreshadowed (represented?) by this shot during the scene where his child self is rampaging.

anyway now he's in jail. rip.

I think from like a show making logic point of view it makes so much sense that the ghost in the hospital (that later turned out to be Maddie's dad) was gonna be important somehow.

He was the only ghost that said anything and he was even the one that said "Welcome to the waiting room. Have a seat". If he wasn't important I would think that the nurse ghost would have said that line. She even looked at Xavier for quite a bit and you'd assume somebody that died as a nurse would be the one introducing new ghosts to the afterlife. But she didn't say anything, no the one ghost that spoke to Xavier is the one that's most important. We were supposed to remember him!!

I read every single one I could get my hands on. Which wasn't a lot, only 4 (and there's an alleged 5th one, but I'm not sure it's not fake, too "out of ordinary" for Nikita, it's more like a creepypasta these days), but those were more than enough.

In all honesty, they're SO stupid and crazy that I'm not sure I wanna work on them and show them to people. At least not word for word, maybe abbreviated versions with less derogatory terms for all kinds of people, because I don't wanna spread this kinda talk. Doesn't matter if he was 100% serious about it or not. For the most part they're not even that funny, it's just ultraviolence for the sake of it, porn and absurd. You can say he was trolling, doing it for shock value and attention, and he was, at least to some extent (Nikita called it "drunken nonsense and sadistic fucking stories"), it feels forced and learned at times, but man... Not when you ACTUALLY start doing shit instead of just thinking about it. Imagine how these stories about brutally killing someone can be perceived now. 💀

TLDR: ANYWAY. WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY WITH THIS. The stories are FOUL. I don't wanna translate them word for word (it'd be EXTREMELY hard anyway). Just what's happening there in general, but without losing the meaning and anything important.

Also to finish this off I'll explain a bit about what happened and a littler bit about modernerator anatomy. Basically the rarefraction cell of an iterator is like their heart/main power source. It powers pretty much everything. What happened was the uncured rot spread to where his rarefraction cell is and broke through, damaging it and "killing" him. The thing is the cell isn't damaged beyond repair and they caught it right before most of his systems completely shut off so he can still come back. Problem is he's running on lower power so for the moment he'd be as responsive as saint pebbles. Also with the amount of time needed and his current state, it'll be hella hard to keep it away from suns. Even though they're doing better they could still relapse. Hella iffy situation but voids below is it yummy.

Thinking about William as a metaphor for disability again. Thinking about how William got into an accident and suddenly he's watching his body rot and fall apart. How does he cope with that? How do his family and friends cope with that? Thinking about how he died, and in a way he and the people around him have to mourn that. How when you're recently disabled you might mourn the ability you've lost, and people around you might mourn because they believe they've lost something too even though you're still RIGHT THERE. Thinking about the monsters in Deadwood being attracted to the wisps and ultimately forcing him to leave home and how that reflects the world suddenly becoming inhospitable and hostile towards you overnight. How rather than making Deadwood safer for William, he had to just leave. How often the way the world treats disabled people forces them to retreat from it in some way. How William was just arguing that the Lich didn't have rights because it wasn't alive, and then finding out he's dead too. How disabled people have their personhood stripped from them by people who think they'll never be disabled so why should they care. Are you listening to me
