Favorite anime movie: i actually haven’t seen any yet except for wolf children which was really really good!! i’ve also been meaning to watch your name, as well as all the main ghibli movies, but i’ve heard of so many good ones i have no idea where to start - open to suggestions on which to watch first!

Anime you cried hardest at: oh lord definitely run with the wind, also season 4 of bnha - any scene with eri makes me sob immediately. take this with a grain of salt because i’m a huge crybaby but i can’t even look at some gifs of any show without bursting into tears pfgffhhfh

Griselda’s Story

Part 35 Mt Komorebi

Griselda could not believe she will not be a teenager any more, her teen life has been a roller coaster and she is hopeful that being an adult will give her more stability. Zemira was working all day on her cake and trying to make it a special day for her. Griselda was starting to miss Ren and her old friends for a moment. She figured the two of them would be celebrating her birthday together along with her friends but she knew that it was not going to happen that way this year. It was just going to be her and Zemira for now. Ren is better off without her. Griselda swallowed back a sob . “It is for the best” she kept trying to tell herself. She focused her mind on something else. Winter Solstice is also today and she needs to get ready for the ceremony. Winter Solstice is almost like Christmas. Enjoying feasting, gift giving and decorating. Griselda got dressed in her festivity outfit for the coven to come together for a huge feast. Griselda always loved it that her birthday was on Winter Solstice which makes her feel powerful some how. Zemira was not interested in going to any of these things so she would have to go on her own.

When Griselda got back she changed into her regular clothes and Zemira had her cake sitting out. “Make a wish!” Griselda came over and thought about a wish. She could not think of nothing at that moment but once she got ready to blow out her candles something came to her mind. “I wish to be happy.” she blew out the candles. For a moment she felt happy looking at Luna and Storm. The two fur babies gathered for some cake as well and it made Griselda laugh! Griselda not happy here, she knows she was hiding from her real feelings and issues! How long was she going to hid before she was ready to face everything! She was not quite ready to face it all just yet, but soon. Griselda thought to herself “Why I am not ready to face it?” Something was holding her back but she could not put a finger on it. Zemira got Griselda’s attention. “Where did you go?” Griselda smiled “just trying to figuring something out.” Zemira looked nervous and Griselda was not sure why.

Later that day Griselda was tidying up the place when she heard a knock at the door. She went to open it and to her surprise. “Gemma!” She smiled at the sight of Griselda. “Happy Birthday Griselda!” Griselda smiled and hugged her best friend. “Come in.” Gemma came in and took her shoes off. “I see you got your candles out for Winter Solstice. At least your are still enjoying the holidays.” Griselda smiled. “I have always loved our holidays. I would not stop celebrating them.” Gemma gave her friend a smile. “Cute little place. I miss you. I wish you would come home.” Griselda frown. “Let just keep it happy okay.” Gemma nodded. “Sure.” The two talked for a while. Griselda was so happy Gemma came to visit. Zemira disappeared to give them some space. Griselda would have loved to have both her favourite sims to be here but it was perfect to have Gemma here for her birthday. They had an amazing time talking, it felt like old times. Gemma thought it would be best to head home before it got dark, as it would be a long ride back on her broom. Griselda was sad to hear that she had to go so soon but she knew she needed to get back home safely. “It was nice to see you.” They hugged goodbye and she was off.

Zemira showed up a few hours later and the girls went up to Griselda’s room. Zemira was feeling flirt, “Griselda your the most beautiful red head I have ever seen.” She brushed a piece of hair out of Griselda face while Griselda was finishing a drag off a joint. Zemira and Griselda was feeling buzzed from the weed and a few pills they had taken. Griselda was a little giddy. Zemira started to kiss Griselda and pushed her toward the bed. Griselda giggled again. “Focus beautiful.” Zemira said. Griselda buzz took in every touch. Griselda was not feeling like having sex but the more Zemira kissed her the more she started to get heated. Griselda laid back and enjoyed her taking charge, she let Zemira to do whatever pleased her.

The next morning Griselda felt awful, she was crashing hard and she was extremely hungry. Griselda did a line of coke on her desk. She remembered Zemira gave her animal heart. Griselda felt odd about it but Zemira re-insured Griselda that it was an animal’s heart which was no big deal! When she ate it tasted so good. It did hit the spot and she was not hungry anymore at least. She still felt weird about it, it tasted so much like human but she never had animal blood before so it could all taste the same. She got dressed for the day and really wanted to head to the slops again. Griselda enjoyed snowboarding a lot and it might be the only sport she could be good at. Once Griselda was dressed she headed down stairs. “Hey Zemira want to go to the mountain and go snowboarding?” Zemira looked like hell. “Na! Think I will stay here.” Griselda looked worried. “You okay?” Zemira gave her a smile. “Always. Do not worry over me.” Griselda nodded, she got her gear and headed to the slops. Griselda was finding Zemira’s behaviour a little off lately. She will have to check in on her again once she gets back. “It is probably best I just leave her be.” She said to herself.

Griselda went up and down the slops several times. She was having a blast. Her mind felt clear hitting the white powdered snow. “It must of snow up here last night” she said to herself. “The snow seems fresh.” Griselda was sitting on the chair lift thinking which she knew better not to. Gemma flirting with Ren bothered her more then she though. “Why could I not tell her? Why did I let it go on until I snap? She is my best friend and she would of understood.” Her mind swirled to Caleb. “I should of just broke up with him. He was just a rebound and I know it.” Griselda knew who she was in love with but she wants to be sure he wants the same think! She thinks he feels the same but it never has been really said out loud. She now has this thing going with Zemira which she should of never let it get this far. She likes her but she is just another rebound, someone to full around with. Griselda was starting to feel the drugs wear off. She was getting close to the top of the hill so she let all this stuff in her mind shut down for now so she could focus on getting off the chair lift and hit the ground with her board. She got in line and when she finally hit the hill all her thoughts went away and she left them at the top of the mountain.

When Griselda got back one of her clients were waiting for her when she arrived. She greeted her respectfully. “Hey there.” “Hey Griselda. I am looking for some weed, please.” Griselda nodded. She went and grabbed some for her. “Would you like to try some purple haze, promise you will like it. It is one of my favourite.” She smiled and paid Griselda for the bag. Griselda then went inside, she had no idea why but she popped a pill. She was going to try and lay off them, but once she gets to Zermira’s place that seems to be all she wanted to do. She took a hit off her bong before heading up to her room.

She laid on the bed for a bit when she heard her cell phone go off. She got up and picked up her phone from the desk. To her surprise it was Ren. She answered it not even thinking. “Hey.” Ren was a bit shocked she picked up. “Hey, Birthday Girl. I was just going to leave a voice mail for you. I wanted to wish you a happy belated birthday Princess.” Griselda smiled at the nickname. She felt so happy to hear his voice. “How are you?” He asked. Griselda did not know how to answer really. “I am okay. You?” She could hear him sorta smile. “You always say that Princess. I am okay too. Just here in the Realm. We are doing a huge transformation to HQ.” Griselda was shocked “Really? I can not wait to see.” Ren laughed “it will be a while before it opened back to the public.” Griselda understood. “Ren, I miss you.” Ren seem to be taken back. “I miss you to Princess. When are you coming home?” Griselda paused for a moment. “I want to come home soon.” Ren voice sounded happy. “Good. I can not wait to see your house filled with life again.” Griselda felt the same. “I know we were next door to each other in Forgotten Hollow but i was never home. But you being in Glimmerbrook will be so much closer.” Griselda felt her heart tug a bit. “I know..” she said quietly trying not to cry. Ren was quiet for a moment. “Griselda we will talk more when we see each other again.” Griselda agreed. “Just find yourself Princess.” Hearing him saying that made her more determined than ever to get her life back on track. “I am sorry.” Ren laughed “about what?” Griselda choked on a sob. “Everything.” Ren voice came out so caring “Griselda you have nothing to be sorry for. Stop over thinking everything and putting so much on your shoulders to bare! Not everything is your fault. Okay?” Griselda nodded she forgot she was on the phone. “Okay.” She says. “Griselda I got to go. They need me. We will talk soon, Princess.” Griselda felt better, to hear he say he wanted to talk again help her realize that he did care! She really hated to hang up with him. “Very soon.” She blew him a kiss into the phone and he did the same. “Will miss you.” Ren laughed, “ Will miss you too. Later Princess.” He hung up. She held the phone close to her heart. She felt finally in her heart that she was mending her friendships back home which was making her feeling very home sick.

Griselda turned and Zemira was standing there. She looked a bit upset. “Why are you leaving? I thought I made you feel comfortable here?” Griselda felt a chill go down her back. Zemira came close to Griselda and went behind her. “You know.” As she faced Griselda in front of the mirror. “No one can love you like me.” Griselda blushed but she was feeling a bit nerves. Zemira’s energy did not feel right. “I want it to be just us you know.” Griselda felt she had to be careful what she said next. “I know you care for me. I am not going any where right now.” Zemira seem to soften up a bit. “Ren threw you away. You told me he did.” Griselda was a bit confused she knew she told her stuff but she had no recall of talking about Ren. “You told me everything one night while you were high. How you loved him but he pushed you away. How stupid of him. He has no idea who he had.” Griselda just smiled at her. “Aww thank you.” Zemira smiled. “Your mine. No one else’s.” Griselda got another chill from her. She thought to herself “what have I done. I should of never gotten involved with her. But I got to act normal. Zemira is not acting right” Zemira took Griselda towards the bed and helped Griselda out of her pants. Griselda was not interested but she did not want to do anything to provoke her further so she went along!

DNA Act II CH 218

So I guess I’ve been making it a habit to do these analysis-type posts, so here’s one for the recent chapter.

In case you were confused about what happened, and what this could mean for the plot:

*spoilers for any anime-only peeps. seriously, this spoils a lot.*

Ok so, in the recent chapter, QUITE A LOT HAPPENED. We had this happen to Maezono:

And I don’t even know what to feel about this:

[Kawakami grabs a bottle but unexpectedly drops it. He is confused about what happens, and is later seen holding his elbow.]

THIS IS A LOT TO UNPACK!! And just take a look at what the chapter ends with:

But?? But what, Terajima-sensei?? Hmmm????

Injuries

So we know for a fact that Terajima is not afraid of injuries. Of course, with sports, injuries are natural and can happen to anyone. However, with other sports anime (namely Haikyuu!!, Free!, Kuroko no Basket, Yuri!! on Ice, etc) injuries are sort of glossed over. Or, there are the few “token characters” that have one or experience one. Think of Daichi, Oikawa, and Yaku in HQ, Sosuke in Free!, Teppei in KnB, and... no one(??) in YOI.

In these few instances, the characters were injured but it was considered a “minor inconvenience” and the character usually continued playing, or could play the next match. Sosuke and Teppei are a little different, they actually required surgery and rehabilitation, but they were still allowed to play through an injury and it was not a major plot point.

DnA, on the other hand...

How many major injuries have we seen? (Major in terms of plot, not major as in the severity of the injury itself).

We had Miyuki’s torn muscle that led to him being effectively booted off the team during the spring tournament. He was the captain, cleanup, and “genius catcher”, yet the coach and team still made the decision to not let him play. Sure, we didn’t really see the spring tournament in the anime, but the fact that an injury like this put Miyuki out of commission for nearly an entire month is unreal. He’s the most popular and most-loved character in DnA. He’s the most relied-upon in the team. He makes the most calls as catcher and captain. 

Then there’s Furuya and both (you read it right: BOTH) his injuries. His back and his ankle. Both put him in recovery/rest for a number of weeks. Both were catalysts for Sawamura to start growing as the “top pitcher”, and move into the ace position.

Ono’s injury was... damn. I don’t even need to talk about it. It was what allowed Yui and Okumura to gain experience on the first-string.

In short, Terajima does not shy away from injuries. And instead of making them all minor, he uses the injuries to develop character relationships and skills. This means that injuries are not just there for shock value. Injuries are not “minor scares”. An injury means a player is taken out of the game and possibly the whole tournament. Terajima takes injuries seriously, and I respect him for that.

Let’s go back to the pictures. 

Analysis

Maezono getting hit in the foot is a bad thing. That was a full-speed pitch, and he hit it top-strength. Maezono is part of Seido’s cleanup, a school known for it’s explosive lineup. There is no way his foot is anything less than badly bruised.

I’d dare to say it’s even broken. It looks like it hit the top of the arch of his foot, around his metatarsals. Fractured metatarsals require around 6 or more weeks, depending on the severity of the fracture. (oh no)

Kawakami is a side-arm pitcher. Side-arm pitchers pitch from the 1/2 slot. (If you know how pitching from different slots works, ignore the rest of this paragraph.) Submarine pitchers pitch from somewhere between 0 and 1/4. We have only seen one submarine pitcher on DnA, as they are extremely rare: even then, this submarine pitcher pitches from a higher-than-normal slot for submarine. (I can’t find a video, but it’s the pitcher from the game that Miyuki sings “aim and swing” with the band.) Furuya and Sawamura could be overhand pitchers. Most pitchers pitch from this slot. There is also 3/4 which is somewhere in between. I think Umemiya pitches from this slot, but I’m not entirely sure. 3/4 is the most natural pitching motion, and is by far the healthiest. [also a note... sidearm, 3/4, and overhand aren’t exactly their positions. Overhand isn’t exactly above the head and looks more like 3/4 if you’re going purely by sight and cutting up the “pie”. 3/4 is like overhand with a bent arm. Overhand is at the 3/4 slot but with a straighter arm. If you’re confused, there are a bunch of better explanations on the internet because I cannot for the life of me describe this]

Sidearm and submarine pitchers tend to put more strain on their elbows while 3/4 and overhand pitchers use their shoulders. Not to say that 3/4 and overhand pitchers don’t throw out their elbows, or sidearm pitchers can’t injure their shoulders, they absolutely do. It’s just that sidearm puts considerably more strain on the elbow than others, and 3/4 and overhand puts more strain on the shoulder than the elbow. (This is why when Furuya injured his back, everyone was concerned that it was his shoulder.)

Kawakami feeling stiffness in his arm and holding his elbow is a very bad thing. At the very least, it demands rest, ice, and absolutely no playing. At the very most, he already needs surgery. It could mean that he’s at risk of permanently damaging his throwing arm if he continues without treatment.

With games against Ichidaisan and (potentially) Inashiro, depending on who wins the semifinals, I don’t know how Seido could fare without Maezono and Kawakami. They are both vital members to the team: Maezono as cleanup and Kawakami as a closing pitcher. 

I think Maezono’s out of the Ichidaisan game, for sure. Even if it’s just a bruise, he’ll have a hard time playing. Kawakami... I don’t know. If he tells the coach about the pain, he won’t be allowed to play. If he gets put in a game as a closer and ends up injuring himself, it means someone else will have to step up as pitcher.

I’m scared guys.

Don't like organized religion, but Christianity really went hard with the Aesthetics! Also Ancient Greek dodecatheism was fun, and so are the stories from Norse Mythology... As for afterlife, I have no thoughts... I just hope it gets better!

Hmm, my moral code is pretty set on things like human rights and whatnot, but if I recognize someone has more knowledge or experience in a subject, they become easy to move and change, like sand! So if I ever do something bad, please let me know! I will listen!

Snow - Have you ever seen snow? Do you like it? What do you like to do in the snow? 

Hmm, back home I had seen a lot of snow! I moved down south so I only see snow on vacations and whatnot... But snow is awesome, when it's fresh! It kinda freezes my hooves, so I have to wear special shoes, but other than that it's pretty fun to be in! I don't really like snowball fights winter sports, but I do like making snowmen!

Frost - What do you like to wear in cold weather?

Top is a regular skiing jacket. And thick caparison for the rest! I don't get cold that easily, since I can just let my back fur do it's work into he sun, but I do like to be self-reliant! I also have to hear ankle braces if there's thick snow, and I need special shoes for ice and stuff... At least it doesn't snow where I am now!

I would, bc some things are kinda traumatic, and I don't like thinking about them. But they're mostly movies and stuff I shouldn't have seen at the age I'd seen them...

..... The fact that I'm a horse. Also the prominent marks on my face and my strength I guess... As for personality and stuff my loud voice, my anxiety and how fast I talk, I guess... That's what I've been told.

Sand - Have you ever been to a beach? If so, what’s your favorite thing to do at the beach? 

Oh, yeah, I love the beach! I like swimming and running around, mostly, but I wouldn't be above making sand castles and stuff!

Hmm, I don't see anything wrong with being old... I would like to be the reliable old person that I didn't have when I was a kid, that would help out and tell interesting stories and stuff... I do think that elderly people should be respected, but not be kept above their mistakes! It's never too late to learn how to be a better person!

Gail had been trying to distract herself from the fact that she was texting Casey by scrolling through Tumblr for some mindless stupid memes. It's not like she's staring at her phone waiting for a reply. Pfftt, that's absurd, Gail Weston doesn't wait for anyone's text. She thought as she tried very hard not to swipe down from the top centre screen to check for another notification. It was stupid, putting her phone on Do Not Disturb when she's trying to text someone - and she never puts her phone on DND! So when Casey replied, finally, it only took her ten minutes and twenty two seconds, not that Gail was counting, it unnerved Gail to another level. It was dumb to pretend she wasn't nervous, but at this point in time, Gail might as well be dumb. 

She yelled at the bedroom and told Connor that she was going out and practically burst out the door. So here she is, standing in front of Casey's door, wearing a pair of bunny slippers and not knowing what the fuck she was doing there. How dare Casey text her and basically order her to come over? Gail was an independent woman who takes order from nobody. Not to mention she was smoking hot and had people lining up vying for her attention. Who does Casey think she was? OKAY, so Casey might also be stupidly hot and cute, like who the fuck allowed someone to be both hot and cute at the same time? Gail glared at the door as though it had personally offended her. She should just leave, she had no business being here. What did she even wanted to get out of this? A kiss? Maybe? Probably? Most definitely? So instead of moving, Gail just allowed herself to stand in front of a door in the middle of a corridor, looking like an idiot.

Things with Gail had proven to be a little complicated and very confusing. One moment they were fine, talking like the acquaintances that they were about a month ago. Then she slapped Marley and everything got turned upside down and in a fit of overprotectiveness and rage, Casey had retaliated and had slapped Gail - though she’d immediately felt horrible for it. Then they’d become... friends, somewhat. Casey loved to bother her and buy her lunch, stealing glances when Gail wasn’t looking and noticing the faintest hint of a smile, especially when she hung out with Nala. It was different from her usual demeanor - serious, a frown and furrowed brows. Gail seemed lighter and carefree, and Casey couldn’t help but wonder how often she actually looked and felt like that. 

And then Gail kissed her. It was nice, of course, her lips were soft and the brunette was offensively gorgeous. No one should be that attractive; it truly was offensive. Gail had avoided her afterward and Casey had an inkling as to why, especially since Gail had been intoxicated when it happened. Casey wanted to do it again, of course. Sober. So when she texted Gail that she was free, she half expected Gail to say maybe another time, but she didn’t. And by the looks of Nala’s perked ears, tilted head and curious sniffing, someone was outside her door. Casey waited for Gail to open the door, sitting down on the couch and wondering how long it would take. I don’t bite she texted Gail after a few minutes, then added, Unless you want me to.

Gail had given up on keeping her phone on DND when she kept checking it for the umpteenth time back when she was still at Connor's. It might've been a giant mistake on her part because when it pinged for a new incoming message, Gail knew she was busted before she even checked who it was from. Looking down at the texts, she wanted to curse Casey's name right there and then. No, actually, scratch that, she wanted to punch this stupid door and then maybe punch Casey because she's probably sporting some infuriating smirk right now. But then again, her face was too pretty, so maybe not. 

Grumbling lowly to herself about the unfairness of this whole situation, she grind down on her teeth, stiffen her shoulders and spine, took a hell of a deep breath, and...… 

Couldn't do it. 

Gail jabbed at her phone and sent a message to Casey, because she started this, so she might as well see it through - not Gail.

‘come open ur stupid door 😠’

Although Casey wanted to remind Gail that she'd left her door open and she could just come in, she decided to go easy on the brunette, quirking an eyebrow at the adorable use of the angry emoji and gently placing her phone face down on the coffee table. Was Gail Weston nervous, perhaps? A smirk pulled at the corner of her lips at the thought, feeling as if it was some sort of ego boost even though there was no confirmation about whether or not that was the case. Was it unusual to wonder what Gail was wearing? Was she still wearing one of her work pant suits, or had she changed into something significantly more comfortable? Was she sporting the same look as the emoji, annoyed with Casey even though the blonde technically hadn't done anything... yet. 

 When she finally opened the door, she was met with the brunette still standing at her door, her phone in hand and looking somewhat... flustered? Or was she actually nervous? Casey wasn't sure. "I told you I don't bite" she smirked, moving a bit to the side so Gail would come into her apartment. She couldn't stop thinking about kissing her dumb lips, but she figured it was best to do it behind closed doors and not in the middle of the hall.

The moment the door opened, Gail glared up at the offending blonde on the other side. How dare she look so beautiful even at night. This should be illegal. This is more of a threat to her safety than a broken glass bottle. She had almost stuck her tongue out at Casey when she got cheeky. Unbelievable. 

Clad in a loose flow-y chemise and some Capri length tights, which probably worth more than Casey's monthly salary, Gail huffed her way into the apartment; making sure to shoot the blonde another glare for good measure. 

Once inside, the first thing Gail did was to greet Nala and picked her up for a hug. The little puppy doesn't deserve her ire, she only deserve happiness and cuddles and scratches. Turning on her heel, she pursed her lips and looked on at Casey. "I'm here, now what?"

Casey, of course, had eyes and she couldn't help but check Gail out as she walked into her apartment - smirking because she'd definitely noticed that glare that had been shot her way. Honestly, fucking sue her for checking out her ass in those tights. Biting back a chuckle, she closed the door behind them and watched as Gail picked up Nala, eyebrow quirked as her demeanor changed... somewhat. She was still a little wary and a little defensive, almost using Nala as a shield. 

Shaking her head, Casey gently took Nala from her arms and softly placed her on her bed, giving her belly rubs before she made her way back to Gail. "Now what?" she asked, repeating what Gail had asked. She took a step close to her, slightly amused at their height difference. It wasn't much, but it was still noticeable, especially in an instance like this. "Do you want to do this?" she questioned quietly, wondering if she was still into it. The whole point of it was that Casey wanted to do this sober so there were no regrets; she was just curious if Gail still felt the same.

Gail almost whined when Casey took Nala away from her. But instead, she crossed her arms and looked forlornly at the puppy. This is animal cruelty. Humans are animals, and Gail's a human - most of the time, when she's sober and awake. Now that Gail's without her Nala buffer, she's feeling a little self conscious. What exactly did she expect to get out of coming to Casey's apartment? Did she just wanted to talk? What would they even talk about?Clearly not about her activities last weekend. Does Gail really want to talk about kissing Casey? Sure, the blonde is cute and pretty, and for fuck's sake, why does she even have to smell nice too, and it's a no brain-er that Gail would want to kiss those sweet lips again. 

So what's it going to be, Gail Weston? She challenged herself as Casey stepped closer to her. Gail might have to tilt her head slightly upward to look at Casey in the eyes, but she has the bigger personality here, and the bigger presence. Damn this beautiful tree of a woman. "Do... what are we doing?" She said sidestepping the topic of the night.

Casey quirked an eyebrow, wondering if she now had the upper hand. Sure, it wasn't a game, per se, but Casey loved being in charge and right now... well, she felt that she was. "What did we talk about doing?" she whispered, taking another step toward Gail and softly cupping her cheek with her right hand. She frowned, knowing that she'd hurt her there a month ago due to her feeling anger toward her, having flashbacks to Marley being bullied and Casey fighting the girls who'd hurt her. Marley was too pure and too gentle; she didn't believe in physical violence, but she'd cry at their words and Casey wasn't above hurting them for what they'd done to her. To Casey, it'd been like that - Gail had hurt Marley, so Casey had to retaliate by hurting Gail. Unfortunately, Gail had been hurt in the process as well and as Casey softly ran her thumb along her cheekbone, she silently apologized for the role she'd played in that situation. 

"I want to kiss you" Casey admitted as her blue eyes bore into Gail's, the faintest of smiles had pulled at the corners of her lips. "And if you don't stop me in the next five seconds, I'm gonna do it. I'm giving you an out. You can say no. But if you don't..." she trailed off, the smile now morphing into her signature smirk.

Gail furrowed her brows and continued to stare at Casey. She was severely at a disadvantage here. She's already shown her hand of wanting to kiss Casey, and then she willingly came over to her place all because of... what exactly? She knew better than to be tempted by handsome men and pretty ladies, so what makes this so different? Maybe it's because this infuriating woman shares the same face as Marley Rose -- who was also to knock Gail's world out of kilter? That couldn't possibly be it. It'll have to be something about Casey... But while Gail was trying to figure out the reason why she's so intrigued and captivated by Casey, said blonde was now literally inches away from her face. Now all she could focus on was the gentle caress of her cheek and those lips right in front of her. 

Fluttering her eyelashes, Gail didn't move an inch. She wasn't going to stop Casey but she's also not going to be the one to make the first move this time. Once was enough, and it didn't even went all that well. She flitted her gaze between Casey's eyes and lips before settling onto just looking straight at her, trying to disguise the fact that her heart was beating overtime in her chest and that as of this moment, she wants nothing more than the promised kiss.

Five seconds passed and Gail hadn't moved, she wasn't stopping Casey, she wasn't doing anything but waiting for Casey to make the first move. This was something that the blonde was more than okay with - she enjoyed being in charge of these situations, so she was glad that she did have the upper hand here. Her smirk grew as the seconds continued to pass, adding to the anticipation and Gail's wait. Finally, her eyes drifted from Gail's eyes down to her lips, her hand continuing to cup her cheek. She was still waiting, taking her time before she finally leaned in and captured Gail's lips with hers.

It started out soft and gentle... a lot like the kiss they'd shared a couple of days ago while Gail was inebriated. But it was also different because this time, Casey was kissing her... and quite possibly letting out the softest of moans as the kiss gradually became a little more hungry and Casey's other hand found Gail's waist and she quickly pulled her body flush against hers. The height difference didn't bother her, but there was a part of her that wanted to take this to the couch. Who wouldn't want a hot girl on top of them, right?

To say Gail was tense when Casey pressed her lips against her own was an understatement. But it only took a moment before her eyes shut responsively where she sighed and relaxed into it. She had let out a soft moan when Casey pulled her tightly into her arms, she only made her appreciation known by deepening the kiss. It was far too soon before the contact was gone and Gail was left reeling from it. With her eyes opened again, there was Casey looking at her with that same stupid grin on her face. 

Gail had no idea that a similar but albeit more demure smile was also painted on her own face.

Casey bit back a grin when they pulled away and she'd caught Gail smiling. Eyebrow quirked in curiosity and slight amusement - and slight cockiness as well - Casey grabbed Gail's hand in hers and led them to the couch where she sat down and looked up at Gail. Tilting her head, she challenged Gail, wanting to continue this here and now. "C'mere" she whispered, smirking, challenging her to straddle her or to at least sit down next to her. The night was still young and though this hadn't been on her plans at all at the beginning of the night - really, this hadn't been on her radar due to how Gail had been avoiding her, she couldn't help but want just this for the rest of it. 

"C'mere" she repeated with a little more urgency, beckoning for Gail to join her.

Pouting at how she was caught smiling like an idiot, Gail dragged her feet on her way to the couch. She stood between Casey's legs and stared down at the blonde. At the first beckon, Gail folded her lips over her teeth and shook her head. It shouldn't be this easy to get Gail to surrender to someone, so she's going to do everything she can to make it difficult. But God, it is hard. When Casey repeated once more, Gail stood contemplatively for a moment before she kneel on the couch, effectively straddling Casey. She kept her weight on her knees whilst she place her arms on Casey's shoulder. "I'm not a dog." She said lowly, looking down at Casey.

Gail could be a little stubborn, a little difficult, so Casey couldn't help but grin triumphantly when she finally relented and knelt on the couch. Gail was almost straddling her - almost, but not quite. "I never said you were" Casey smirked, enjoying the position they were currently in, but wanting to feel Gail's weight on her. Keeping her eyes locked on Gail's, she placed her hand on her waist then slowly moved it to her ass, gently guiding her so that she would be more comfortable on top of her. "I just wanted you on top of me, is that a crime?" she asked cheekily, her other hand tucking a strand of hair behind Gail's ear. "Are you going to punish me?"

Casey needs to die. That's it, that's all there is. But if she wants to play then it's only fair that Gail gets to join in on the fun, Gail refuses to be toyed with like a pet's toy. She leaned her head forward as though she's going in for another kiss but just as their faces were only millimeters apart, she stopped. "It's not punishments if you enjoy them," She nipped at Casey's bottom lip. "So why should I bother?" Gail pulled away and promptly sat down onto Casey with as much force as she can possibly muster. With her hands now resting at the nape of Casey's neck, she played with the shorter tendrils of hair there. "I hate you."

"True" Casey acquiesced with a nod, adding, "there are more than a few punishments that I'm pretty sure you'd enjoy." Though she loved that Gail was feeling comfortable enough to tease her - especially when she nipped at her lip - Casey was itching to take control of the situation. She would be nice, though, and allow Gail to think she had the upper hand for the time being. "You don't hate me" she shook her head, sitting up and leaning forward, both of her hands now on Gail's waist, "you just hate that you love this as much as you do." Casey pressed her lips to Gail's neck then her jaw, "And that you couldn't leave right now even if you actually wanted to because you want this as much as I do."

Instinctively, Gail tilted her head away to allow Casey more access. She hates Casey, so much. So freaking much. So she may be just a little into this whole thing that they're doing, but it's only because... because Gail is trying to erase the fact that Connor was her latest sex partner; that's all. Biting at the corner of her lip, Gail kept quiet instead of replying. She wasn't going to give rise to the bait, Casey can say whatever she wants, it doesn't mean it's true. Instead, for retaliation, Gail gave a sharp tug with the hand that's currently entangled in the golden locks.

Casey dragged her teeth along Gail's soft skin, only nipping the base of her neck gently before pressing a few kisses along her jaw. Gail was clearly flustered due to how she'd reacted, her hair being pulled at as Casey continued teasing. She hummed in appreciation, looking up at Gail with a smirk that let her know this was just the beginning. "You can keep doing that" she said, moving her hands to her ass and squeezing, "just know that I like it." She was in control, as per usual. She was the one in charge, just the way she liked it. But because of that, because of what Gail had done in retaliation, she wasn't going to kiss her just yet. Instead, she continued to tease her jaw, slowly moving toward her ear and whispering to Gail that she liked it rough.

"Fuck," Gail breathed out, the tip of her ear redden from embarrassment or arousal, nobody knows. This is going to drive her insane. What is with this girl? Her heart rate is already going through the roof from just the light touches on her neck and jawline. Swallowing heavily, Gail clenched her jaw and pinched the back of Casey's neck. "Stop teasing and just...!" She growled. She didn't want to be the first to give in, but it's starting to look like Casey knew exactly what to do to make Gail give up the remaining shreds of control. While most of the people would assume that Gail loves to be in control during sex, she prefers it the other way around. She's had so much control in her life that she just wanted, no needed, someone else to take the reins in certain parts of her life - that being sex. But in this particular case, she would be damned if she doesn't fight to keep every last sliver of it, no matter how much she wants Casey. It might be a losing fight, but she'll damn well put up a good fight.

"Stop teasing and just...?" Casey repeated, questioning Gail quietly, brow quirked in the most teasing way. She was feeling more than cocky because it seemed as if Gail was slowly losing control and just wanted what Casey was so rudely keeping from her. Gail was anxious to have it, and Casey wanted to keep it from her for just a little bit longer. Her tongue darted out between her lips, slowly trailing up from the base of her throat to her jawline. "What do you want?" she asked, nipping at her skin as she dug her fingers to her side. "Do you want me to kiss you?" she whispered low, "do you want me to bite your lip and pull your hair?" Casey bit her own lip, her hands slowly moving up Gail's back. "What do you want me to do to you, Gail Weston?"

Feeling entirely too uncomfortable and uneasy, Gail shifted on Casey's lap as she felt hands running up her back. She rolled her eyes and leaned in to give Casey a peck on the lips. "You're infuriating." She said resignedly. "Yes, to all of it" It hurts Gail to admit it, to admit defeat in this battle of wits, but it might actually, physically, hurt if she doesn't. "Kiss me already." 

Casey smirked, nodding when Gail said she was infuriating - and she was, she knew she was, she was proud of it, actually. "I am" she admitted, the smirk still prominent on her features, tilting her head upward when Gail gave in to her and admitted she wanted her to kiss her. Casey hummed, pressing a kiss to Gail's jaw, then her cheek, then the corner of her lips. Still, even though Gail had admitted to wanting her and had given in, she was teasing her. "I'll kiss you now." And so she did, capturing Gail's lips with hers and forgetting about the game she'd been playing with Gail for the past few minutes or so. Her hands moved back to Gail's waist, tightening her grip on her as the kiss deepened. This was much better; why hadn't they started it off with Gail on top of her from the get-go?

Kissing Casey, really kissing Casey was an experience. It's not like there are explosions or that it was a life-altering experience, but there were definitely some fireworks lighting up behind her eyelids. Okay, so there were a lot of fireworks but whatever, nobody can judge her. With the way her body melted and relaxed into Casey's embrace, nobody would've believed it that she was high-strung and all rigid seconds before. Gail reveled in the feeling of Casey's lips on hers. They were the softest, plumpest lips she had probably ever kissed this side of college. Whimpering quietly, she opened her mouth which, almost instantaneously, Casey took advantage of.

Not that she didn't like the Gail that she saw often - hard and rough exterior, furrowed brows and a 'don't fuck with me' look on her face - but Casey could tell that she was a lot more relaxed now as she kissed her. Casey's right hand snuck its way under Gail's shirt, ghosting her fingers over the small of her back and slowly up her spine. Not too far, though. She kept her hand in a respectable spot, still ghosting over her skin, daring to move it to her ribs... but that was more than enough for her. She wasn't going to push unless Gail asked her to. Besides, she was happy to just be kissing her, to feel her lips against hers, her tongue. It didn't even matter when their teeth gently knocked against one another's. This felt good. And if Casey really thought about it, if she wasn't so distracted by Gail's lips and tiny noises of approval, she would realize that this was the first time in a while that she wasn't doing anything to make it sexual. This was the first time she was okay with just kissing someone... even though, yes, she did want to switch their positions and lay Gail down on her couch so she could be on top of her. This was fine. Really, this was more than fine.

"Fuck," Gail said quietly as she slowly pulled away from Casey, their noses centimeters away from each other, their lips barely touching. She kept her eyes closed and tried desperately to regulate her breathing and heart rate back to normal again. She's made out with a lot of people, she's had groping sessions like every other girl, but none actually made her feel this much with so little. For Christ's sake, Casey hadn't even touched her breasts yet. "I can't, I can't stay." She finally got out, voice soft and eyes hazy. She was still reeling from the whole making out with Casey thing to really throw back on her usual stoic, snark, and sarcasm façade. So instead, she sat limply on Casey's lap with her arms still circled around Casey's neck.

Casey furrowed her brows when Gail said she couldn't stay, confused at the soft words and the meaning behind them, especially since Gail wasn't making the effort to actually get up and leave. She was still there, on her lap, looking at her in a way that was unlike her usual demeanor. "You don't have to stay" Casey whispered, pressing a soft kiss to the corner of Gail's lips then pressing another to her pulse point, "I won't make you stay." She was breathing hard, still reeling from what had transpired just a few seconds earlier... still wanting to kiss Gail. "But I want you to" she admitted, biting her lip a little nervously, "even if we don't keep kissing. We can just go back to my bed and we can lay there. We can sleep. We can cuddle. We can... it doesn't matter what we do." She cupped her cheek with one hand, smiling softly at the brunette, "stay the night. What do you say?"

Gail tried to look frustrated and her usual grumpiness but all she managed was a slight pout of her lower lip. "I can't," she said, devoid of any conviction. It also didn't help that she had made zero effort to move or to get off of Casey's lap. She just sat there and let herself be handled and kissed. "I shouldn't." She said breathlessly this time, what with Casey kissing her neck softly. Gail doesn't push her away, but rather stretched her neck as Casey's mouth traveled upwards. "Maybe." A peck on the corner of her slightly up-tilted lips. It shouldn't be this easy to change her mind, she really shouldn't stay. She had work early tomorrow and she has nothing here, unlike Connor's place. She would literally have to wake up at ass crack of the morning to get home and get changed. But one by one, all the reasons why Gail shouldn't remain at Casey's place were kissed away, peck by peck. Until finally, she relented. "Okay," She rolled her eyes, she couldn't help herself and dove down for another peck, just for good measure. "You don't play fair and you know it."

At first, Gail said 'I can't' and Casey took it as there being an outside reason for her needing to go... whereas when she said 'I shouldn't', it felt more as if there was an internal battle that Gail was fighting against - and losing. So Casey kept pressing soft, gentle kisses on her skin, trying to melt away whatever excuse she had on the tip of her tongue. Casey hummed, not saying anything as she continued to pepper her skin with feather light kisses, both of her hands sliding under her shirt and the tips of her fingers ghosting over her warm skin. Then she kissed her lips - still, though, just small pecks. Not enough to be turned into something hungry and needy, but enough to change Gail's mind. "I know I don't" she grinned her signature grin when Gail finally gave in - her teeth were showing and her eyes and nose were scrunched up, "but I have a feeling you like it." She pressed her lips against the tip of Gail's nose then whispered, "I'm glad you're staying."

Gail wrinkled her nose, not knowing what's the right thing to say at that. Does she say 'you're welcome'? She could, and she probably would've in any other occasion. Her presence is a gift and not many gets the privilege to bask in it. "You have to wake me up tomorrow," she crossed her arms in front of her chest, feeling rather vulnerable all of a sudden. "I have to go back to my place to get changed before work. And I'll have to shower." She continued to list out all the things she needed to do. "Maybe this isn't such a good idea after all. I don't like waking up early, and sleeping here means I have to do just that."

Pressing yet another gentle kiss to Gail's lips, Casey tried to wordlessly reassure her that everything would be okay - that she would wake her up early so she could go back to her place (Connor's place?) so she could be able to get to work on time. "You know... Connor's place isn't that far from here, just an elevator ride away. I mean... okay, what time do you usually wake up? I can wake you up ten minutes before that so your schedule is not off kilter." Casey tried to reason with Gail, kissing her softly. "Ten minutes. Five minutes." She paused, then added, "I don't know, I kinda just wanna wake up next to you for real this time. I like holding you, you know."

"Fine, but we'll have to make that ten minutes." Gail sighed. At least this wouldn't be as bad as Connor waking her up at 5 in the morning, or at least she hopes. "My place is a ten minute drive. I don't keep clothes at Connor's." She bent down and stole another kiss. She can at least admit that she likes kissing Casey, even though she might not be entirely too comfortable with sleeping with someone but not sleeping with someone. She's fine with sleeping over for random hookups but to just sleep with someone after kissing them for almost half an hour? That's just... weird. "My legs are falling asleep, so if we're going to keep talking or... you know, we're going to have to move." She placed her hands on Casey's shoulder, trying to push herself up. "Or at least I have to."

Before Casey even attempted to move, she leaned in to give Gail another kiss - deep, but not enough for it to drive her crazy, not enough for her to want to lay her down for more. "Okay" she breathed against Gail's lips once she'd finally pulled away, moving her hands to Gail's ass, squeezing before she moved them to her thighs as she scooted to the edge of the couch. "Let's go to bed, then." And with that she got up, picking Gail up as if she weighed nothing and leading them back to her bedroom like that, with Gail still wrapped around her. "You might be a little overdressed" she smirked as she lay Gail down on her bed, her eyebrow quirked in a cheeky, teasing manner, "you can borrow a t-shirt if you want."

Gail let out a high pitched squeal as she was unceremoniously picked up by Casey. She quickly wrapped her legs and arms around the blonde, trying to make sure that if she does fall, she's bringing Casey down with her. "Oh my God," Gail exhaled once she was safely deposited onto the bed. "You could've warned me!" She pushed at Casey's shoulder and smacked her a few times for good measure. Gail tried to be angry with Casey but just one look at that smiling face killed any chance of that. Rolling her eyes, she stuck her hand out for the aforementioned shirt. "Well? I'm not going to wrinkle this shirt any more than I already have."

"Where's the fun in that?" Casey asked her, the smirk still evident on her features even as Gail pushed and smacked her for doing what she'd done. "Take it off, then" she challenged after pressing one last kiss to Gail's lips, then pulled away from her completely and made her way to her dresser to grab one of the many LA Dodgers t-shirts she'd accumulated ever since moving out to the west coast. Without really thinking, she stripped out of her bottoms and the t-shirt that she'd been wearing, changing into a clean one before making her way back to Gail, Dodgers shirt in hand. "You'll look good in my shirt" she commented, wondering if she should turn around and give her some privacy as she changed, "- I mean, you'd look good in anything." She rolled her eyes, adding a playful "you gorgeous bitch" under her breath.

Sitting on the bed, Gail had the best view of the city. She licked her lips as she watched Casey changed shirts and kicking off her bottoms. Casey might've done it without thinking or awareness for her surrounding, but Gail planned to do it in a very deliberate manner. So when Casey came back, handing over the Dodgers t-shirt, which Gail only mildly snarled at because she was a die hard Mets fan, Gail gripped the bottom of her blouse and slowly pulled it over her head and off. Clad in just her black lace La Perlas, she looked Casey dead in the eye as she reached for the shirt before pulling it on. Not one to sleep with her bra on, she reached under her new shirt and unclasped the back, pulling the straps down her arms, and pulled it out from under her shirt. "Do you have a hanger I can hang these on?" She asked nonchalantly, as though she didn't just deliberately stripped in front of Casey.

There was no way in hell that Casey would turn around now, seeing that Gail was basically putting on a show for her. Biting her lip, Casey watched as she pulled off her blouse, put on the t-shirt she'd been given, then took off her bra and pulled it out from under the shirt. It was done so effortlessly that Casey was left dumbfounded until Gail finally spoke, making Casey nod, dumbfounded at what she'd just witnessed. Like she'd thought before, Gail was offensively attractive. "Yeah... yeah. Yeah. I got it. Yup." She sounded like an idiot and she knew it, but she didn't much care as she grabbed her garments and hung them in her closet. Finally, she made her way back to her bed and laid next to Gail, shaking her head. "You're a tease" she stated, though it was clear it was mere banter, "I like it." She kissed Gail's lips, amused at what she was about to ask. "Are you gonna let me cuddle you and hold you through the night?"

Gail made herself comfortable in the bed, lying on her back and staring at the ceiling. It's weird, sharing a bed with someone who's not her friend and not her sexual partner of the night. When she felt the bed dip next to her, she turned her head and was greeted with a kiss. It's nice, kissing Casey. She wants more of that, for sure. "No" she replied simply, but like before she did nothing that might suggest that contact from Casey is unwelcome. Instead, she turned and lied on her side, facing Casey. If anything that was an encouraging sign that Casey should wrap her arms around Gail and hold her.

When Gail turned so her body was facing hers, Casey couldn't help but tilt her head and smile at her sweetly. Though she'd said no, her actions told a different story. Before she could wrap her arms around her and hold her, though, Casey chose to press her forehead against Gail's, kissing the tip of her nose in a feather-light touch. "I'm glad you stayed" she whispered, leaning down slightly and brushing her lips against hers before finally wrapping her arms around her. This was good. This was more than good. Casey hoped there would be more of this in the future but even if there wasn't, this was... this was enough.

When did I start watching Haikyuu: I first watched Haikyuu around 2016, and then rewatched the past thee seasons recently!

Why did I start watching Haikyuu: I can’t honestly remember much, other than I really liked their designs? I never really watched any sports anime before HQ, and wasn’t sure what to expect. I fell in love with the characters though and ended up actually liking volleyball.

Why do I like Haikyuu: CHARACTERS!!! Of course I get hyped during the games, like to an insane amount, but the personalities and backstories and relationship dynamics have me h o o k e d. I would die for these boys and I can’t think of a character I dislike off the top of my head

Manga or Anime: I have trouble reading the manga during the volleyball scenes so I haven’t read more than around 40 chapters

Rockman.EXE Review Episode 5

I really like this episode, not sure... why...

Of course! There is a giant virus in this one!

Can fish stampede?

The episode opens with a shot of a mans head against the sun right outside of Yaito’s tree house. We then cut to the Net Battle taking place inside between Rockman and Gutsman.

The whole group is viewing Netto and Dekao’s battle but mostly just watching Rockman evading Gutsman’s punches. Rockman beats Gutsman with a score of 23 to 0 by throwing a Mini Bomb at Gutsman’s...

Of course, this was cutted out from the american dub, where we only see Rockman throwing the Mini Bomb and then inmediately cutting to Netto and Dekao.

 But what was Rockman thinking anyway? I thought he was better than this. I do like how Roll is covering her eyes though.

The laughs dont last long as the intruder alarm goes off. The intruder is the not so misterious man from earlier, Masa-san, who gets hit in the head after opening the door with what I can just assume is a classic Japanese gag.

Quite the security system you have there Yaito.

After Masa-san introduces himself as the best fisherman in Akihara and the title card appears, Yaito tries to confront him, but instead, he just yells at her bad manners and tells Netto and the others that they are wasting valuable time playing Netbattles indoors since kids are suppouse to play outside, run, climb trees, play sports, etc. And that he is going to force them to do some training because I guess he doesnt have anything better to do, this is followed by this funny reaction from Rockman and Roll.

So Masa-san starts his training by making them “run”, during this, Meiru explains to Yaito about how Masa-san doesnt know much about technology nor does he like it. I put quotation marks on the running part because its easy to tell that they aren’t, It is until Masa-san looks back that he finds out that none of them are running.

Even when the camera only shows them from the waist up you can tell none of them are running, except maybe for Netto who is moving his arms.

This angers Masa-san and decides to get serious. We see a montage of them doing push-ups, climbing threes and escaping from sharks, you know, what normal kids do everyday.

Netto is actually doing pretty good! I dont know why Masa-san is so upset, Netto ran around the entire school in the last episode. Ok, he skated a little, but that still needs good balance and strengh.

Finally, he makes them play Baseball by attaking them with millions of fast balls.

Yaito has enough and yells at Masa-san telling him that her dad is “made of money”, Masa-san ignores her threat and throws another baseball at her, she ducks resulting on the baseball hitting Dekao.

Obviously cutted from the american dub too.

This is followed by yet another funny reaction from Rockman and Roll.

Is it strange that Rockman says that right after Dekao’s scene?

We then cut to the bad guy’s secret HQ where Dr.Wily, leader of the World Three, is playing a montage of the WWW Navis getting their butts kicked by Rockman.

And then they stare at a picture of his crotch XD

“Specially by the exact same chip combo! A Shotgun followed by a Sword?”

Wily scolds the three operators but they then tell him about a new plan they have, this time not involving any of their navis.

Their target, the Robotics fish aquarium!

As mush as I wonder how an aquarium of robotic fish would make sense, I cant help feeling that this couple walked in from a diferent anime.

Maybe they’re just too generic.

Jelly viruses begin to appear inside the aquarium’s server and this causes the robotic fish to go crazy, but at least the damage is contained, right?

Meanwile, we cut back to Netto and his friends all tired out from Masa-sans training, he gives them some fish snacks  and decides to tell them some fun fish facts while they eat.

He even brougth flash cards. Masa-san tells them that eating well, playing well and learning well is the key to success. Something Netto doesnt really believe but Rockman sure seems to.

Would you also explain to me how can they be alive if they dont have brains? Or a heart?

After Netto freaks out after seeing a robotic flying fish actually flying in front of him, we see that the whole city has been taken over by the the robotic fishes from the aquarium, who can now fly for some reason.

Ok, that giant octopus makes sense as a robot, but what about the rest of the fish?

As fars as I know, the robotic fish only cause damage by crashing into things, just like a big tuna was about to do with Netto and friends when Masa-san quickly saves them in a scene that was cutted halfway in the american dub.

After Masa-san tells them the damage that species of tuna could’ve done, even as a robot, Rockman tells Netto to plug him into the network so he can go to the aquariums server with Glyde to see whats going on.

Why Glyde? Why can they access the aquarium server through the Net? Why does the robotic tuna have a skelleton? So many questions today.

Netto and Yaito find a payphone and plug-in, showing us Yaitos official plug-in sequence.

They arrive at the server to see that something strange is going on and Rockman spots a fin like object moving in the floor.

The fin attacks them revealing a shark like navi jumping out of the floor. After dodging the attack, Rockman lands on some weak panels making him fall through the floor where he discovers that there is an underground lake infested with Jelly viruses.

The World Three is watching everything from their giant monitor, they recognize the blue Navi and order the viruses to attack him.

The Jelly viruses attack Rockman by launching themselves at him while Glyde can only watch from above.

Glyde can only tell Yaito to tell Netto that Rockman is in trouble, but at the same time, the whole group is being chased by a robotic shark.

 After Masa-san proves once again that his knowledge on fish is very useful we cut back to Rockman still being attacked by the Jellies. He finally has enough and dodges a few Jellies before leaping out of the water landing right next to Glyde.

However, the viruses merge together forming a giant Jelly that surfaces.

We cut back to Netto and the others who are cornered by the robotic shark, Netto is frustrated because he needs to get to the aquariums server to save Rockman, Masa-san unsderstands his strugle and throws himself as bait to lure the shark away.

As the group run to the aquarium, the Jelly virus is evading all of Rockman’s shots until it suddently grabs him.

 This doesnt look good but I swear, this isnt THAT kind of anime!

Netto and the others arrived at the aquarium but are stopped by a giant robotic squid blocking the entrance, this doesnt really stop Netto though as he quickly passes the giant squid and locates the aquarium server.

He frees Rockman by sending him the Sword battle chip but unfortunately the virus regenerates itself and attacks Rockman and Glyde with the “tsunami” attack.

Netto begins to freak out since his chips can’t beat the tsunami attack until something is suddently thrown next to him.

I would be wondering why is Rockmans image in the chip, but I guess they dont see this in the show.

The new chip is the “Elec Sword”, Elec meaning “Denki” in japanese as Netto figures out the weakness of the Jelly virus.

Netto sends the newly aquired battle chip to Rockman and tells him that the virus’s weakness is electricity. Rockman tries to aim the sword at the Jelly virus but it wont stay still. Suddently, the shark navi from before leaps out of the water and tackles the giant virus from behind, giving Rockman the chance to attack.

Rockman uses the Elec Sword in a super powerful way that deletes the Jelly virus in one hit, virtually telling the World Three to suck it!

I love their faces XD

After the Jelly is defeated, the strange Navi from before introduces himself as Sharkman. Just that, no operator name, no explanation of why he was there or what he was trying to do or why he attacked them earlier.

Rockman says that with his help he was able to delete the virus, but Sharkman only points out that Rockman wasn’t strong enough to win by himself and bids him goodbye before loggin out.

The sun is setting and Netto returns victorious to his friends who were waiting outside the aquarium, Yaito asks him how did he find out the virus’s weakness and Netto explains after literally having a flashback of Masa-san’s lesson about the Jellyfish.

I would expect that kind of logic from pokemon, not from a show where computer viruses have elemental weaknesses that work like in real life.

After a nice group laugh, Netto remembers about the strange object where he got the Elec Sword.

Well, it looks like a fish bone, and a Navi named Sharkman was in the server, so I’d say it was someone who is obsessed with fish, like Masa-san.

But of course it cant be Masa-san because everybody knows he doesnt own a PET. Besides, he is busy ending the episode while standing on a robotic shark that somehow got impailed on top of a tower.

This is really how the episode ends.

My thoughts?

It was a really fun episode and very educative, even if it was about fish, it was Masa-sans time to shine and if you’ve played the game you’ll know that Sharkman is actually Masa’s navi.

 Masa was but an optional boss along with Saloma and Miyuki in the first game, its good to see he has a better role in the anime. But if Masa-san doesnt like technology and doesnt have a PET, then why was Sharkman in this episode? Even before playing the games I was really confused, who was Sharkman? Is he good or bad? and why would he look like a good Navi for Masa-san? This is the kind of episode the keeps you thinking, I knew there had to be a conection between both characters!

This is also the first time we see the three WWW operators together and not just talking with Wily through a monitor. And I must say that their interaction with eachother wasnt what I imagined.

It was fun to watch them argue and their reactions when they recognized Rockman and after they lost to him again. 

I enjoyed the animation and it was a nice change to the Rockman vs a Navi formula we’ve seen before. The dynamic of the battle and how viruses can also be as dangerous as a WWW Navi. Seeing Rockman underwater, how the viruses merge after he jumps out of the water, its reaction to the Elec Sword and how it only decides to grab Rockman instead of Glyde because he was an actual threat. 

Speaking of Glyde, he was compleately pointless in this episode, all he did was stand there watching Rockman do all the work, commentating and informing Netto that he was in trouble, I guess this was another way of having Yaito grow closer to the group, but what was Glyde’s excuse? That he is not built for battle? We’ve seen him bust viruses before!

Philly Used to Be a Cat Town. Now It’s Gone to the Dogs.

When I moved to this city fresh out of college in 1978, I brought with me my cat, Julio, who’d been living (illicitly) in my dorm room. I rented a ground-floor apartment at 21st and Walnut — it cost $145 a month — and Julio and I settled in. The married couple in the apartment next door, Geoff and Danielle, had a couple of cats. Jimmy, the gay guy who lived above them, had a Persian, and Liz, the girl who lived above me, had a loud Siamese. This was a city of cats then; you’d walk down the block and see them sitting in windows, dozing or eyeing pigeons dubiously.

We had cats because cats were suited to the way we lived. We were homebodies; there were so few reasons not to be. The city had hardly any good restaurants — Steve Poses had opened Frög, the sword-tip of the renaissance vanguard, five years earlier. There was Bookbinder’s — well, there were two of them — where no one could afford to eat, and there were joints like Little Pete’s, where anybody could. A few years earlier, Chestnut Street had been closed to private vehicles to create a “transitway” for pedestrians and buses. The result was a bleak, empty canyon slicing through the city. Muggings were rampant. There wasn’t any nightlife except for a bunch of cheap bars — McGlinchey’s, McGillen’s, Dirty Franks — whose surly, sullen bartenders (cheers, Ruthie!) would have laughed in your face if you’d asked about the cocktail du jour.

Sounds awful, doesn’t it?

It was great. Did I mention the $145 rent? There wasn’t any traffic, because nobody could afford cars. It was so safe to bike in the streets that I was a bike messenger for a few years. There was no such thing as social media, so no one cared that there was no place to go. You’d have the neighbors over for beers, then cook up some burgers or chicken while cats wrapped around your ankles. Why go out? Where to?

None of us had dogs. Dogs were for suburban tract houses, out where there were fences and kids. It wouldn’t be right to have a dog here. It would be heartless to leave it cooped up in a tiny apartment all day.

But you could leave a cat with a litter box and a big bowl of dry food while you went to the Shore or the Poconos for a weekend. And you would go to the Shore or the Poconos on weekends, because the city was old and bleak and gray. You kept your head down when you walked those mean streets. You got where you were going. You didn’t linger. There weren’t marathons or pop-up bars or Restaurant Weeks or Roots Picnics. We weren’t sharers. We kept cats, and we kept to ourselves.

I don’t know when the changeover began. I’m not sure when I started to see them — the dog people — out on the sidewalks and in the parks, strutting and smiling and greeting people they didn’t even know. Oh, maybe there had been a poodle or two in Rittenhouse Square in the old days, walked by a butler or prim Chanel-suited matron. But the two veterinarians closest to my apartment were cats-only. I don’t remember any pooper-scooper laws; instead, there were occasional polite signs suggesting that you PLEASE CURB YOUR DOG, which, for the uninitiated, means have it defecate in the gutter instead of on the sidewalk. No one was asking you to pick up that poop. There literally weren’t enough dogs for anybody to care.

Maybe the switch dates from 1980, when the first Broad Street Run was held. That same year, the Phillies won the World Series and then the Eagles went to the Super Bowl, startling us all. Or maybe it was in 1984, when developer Willard Rouse III announced that he was raising One Liberty Place, busting through the longstanding “gentleman’s agreement” that no building in Center City would be taller than City Hall. (Such a rebel!) Or 1991, when Ed Rendell was elected mayor of a city on the brink of bankruptcy and vowed to turn it around.

Rendell was big and gruff and loud, a transplant from New York, where they’ve always had dogs, because New Yorkers don’t care about anybody else’s quality of life. He had dogs — a succession of golden retrievers (what else?), Mandy and Maggie and Ginger and Royal. When Maggie died, Rendell penned a tribute that read, in part: “I lived on this earth for over 73 years and as a trained lawyer, the most persuasive empirical evidence I have found about the existence of God is that someone must have done something to create that special bond between dog and human. It exists for us with virtually no other animal and I can’t believe it was just an accident.”

If you’re touched by that, you must be new around here. Philadelphians are cat people — private people — and private people don’t emote this way. We might whisper in Kitty’s ear while cuddling her in our lap, but we don’t shout it from rooftops. We’re tidy as a litter box. We don’t slobber. We don’t wag our tails. We have dignity.

You have to stay a little removed, after all, in a city of rowhomes. You have to pretend you don’t overhear the couple next door arguing in bed, or notice the booze bottles in their trash can, or see the underwear hung out to dry in their backyard. You have to remain aloof — like a cat, you know? You mind your own business, addressing a paw with your tongue while the bill collector knocks just across the street. That’s the way our moms and dads were. That’s how we were, back before Ed Rendell.

Once, this was a city of suspicious nocturnal predators. Today, it’s home to cheerful tail-waggers, and the difference is as startling as Dorothy’s transition from Kansas to Technicolor Oz. There are now dozens of dog parks in Philly. There are bakeries that will make your dog a custom birthday cake, and doggie haberdashers where you can get Sparky suited up for your wedding or a holiday. There’s puppy yoga at breweries and Yappy Hours at bars. As I head into work along South Street, I pass two doggie daycares as well as an Unleashed by Petco (which has a self-serve dog wash so you can scrub the city grime off Rocky) and an outpost of the chic local chain Doggie Style Pets. There are Philly folks who’ll perform acupuncture on your dogs, and tattoo artists who adorn human arms and legs with canine faces. It’s a rare cafe that doesn’t have a doggy water bowl beside the outdoor tables. You can even bring your pup with you to work, if your employer is Urban Outfitters HQ or Neff Associates or Petplan, the Philly-based pet insurance company started by two Wharton students. There are dog walkers galore, along with trainers and groomers and therapists and psychics and programs where kids read to dogs. I and my kitty kin sit at home and marvel at this canine industrial complex. According to the American Pet Products Association, Americans spent $72.13 billion on Fluffy and Squeaky and Tug last year, with the annual cost of cat ownership two-thirds that of a dog, at $988 vs. $1,549. That cat cost is wildly inflated, btw, since it budgets $30 annually for toys. You only buy toys for your cat the first few months you have her, until you figure out she doesn’t give a damn about toys; she just wants to chew your houseplants.

Dogs, if I can be frank, are the spawn of success and gentrification. The Inquirer said so two years ago in an article called “If It Seems As If Dogs Are Everywhere in Philly’s Gentrifying Neighborhoods, They Are.” It quoted a Villanova economics prof, David Fiorenza, who says millennials are having dogs before they have children. A third — a third! — of American millennials who buy houses cite wanting more space for their dogs — a motivating factor that outranks marriage or the birth of a child. A WHYY report last year on gentrification in Grays Ferry quoted a longtime resident, 83-year-old Theodore Jackson, on the subject of his new neighbors: “They love them dogs.” Hey, that wasn’t a cat mask Chris Long put on.

One consequence of the influx of pups has been an influx of poop. Those “Curb your dog” signs are gone, replaced by ones warning of $300 fines for not picking up after your pet. (By “pet,” we don’t mean cat. And by “picking up,” we don’t mean putting that shit in a plastic bag and depositing it on someone else’s stoop.) If you want to get Old Philadelphia going, start a conversation on this subject. Beneath our (cattily) inscrutable expressions, many of us are seething with resentment toward doggy doo. “I see it everywhere,” one co-worker who lives in Rittenhouse hisses. “I stepped in some this morning,” another bitches. Neighborhood blogs froth at the mouth about the excrement situation. In 2018, Beth Ann Dombkowski, a resident of Passyunk Square, mounted a gallery exhibit of photos she took of dogs as they were pooping. In 2012, a Tacony man was shot to death by the guy two doors down for not picking up after his Chihuahua. Which reminds me: Earlier this year, a South Philly dog owner died after being punched, allegedly by another dog owner whom he’d asked to leash his pet.

Cat people don’t kill each other. We have no reason to.

Last April, the City of Philadelphia’s verified Twitter account tweeted out:

ANNOUNCEMENT: After noticing that our top audience interest is DOGS, we have decided to become a dog and cat rating account. Reply with your dog and cat pictures and we’ll rate them.

The “and cat” was a sop; felines were nowhere on the accompanying chart, which showed the account’s audience interest in dogs at a staggering 100 percent, ahead of “weather,” tech news” and even politics. Granted, the tweet went out on April 1st. But even on April Fools’ Day, the joke worked because it rang true: Who doesn’t love dogs?

Once upon a time, Philadelphians didn’t. Back in the day, this city’s sports heroes were cat-like loners like Allen Iverson and Mike Schmidt. Now, New Philadelphia has rallied to goofy Cameroonian wolfhound Joel Embiid and bulldog Bryce Harper. The favored writers in my salad days were embittered sourpusses — Stu Bykofsky, Christine Flowers, Buzz Bissinger. In March, the Inquirer — the city’s newspaper of record — started a new Sunday section, “The UpSide,” that prints only good news. Yippee, puppies and rainbows all around!

This city you kids are making is a foreign place to us — bright and happy and colorful and buzzing with life. It has parklets and bike lanes and hammocks you can hang in. It’s got more City Council candidates than you can throw a stick for. It wins all kinds of awards — for new architecture, new recreational venues, new chefs. It’s been declared best place to visit and City of the Year. Its sports teams are in ascendance. Clearly, you newcomers think this relentless assault of excellence will pound down our native gloom and let the sun shine in. Haven’t we ever heard of cats’ bad habits — that they hang out with witches and suck the breath from babies? Don’t we want our faces licked?

Um, no. No, we don’t, thank you. We’re into pain; isn’t that obvious from the public officials we elect? We’re proud that Slate recently labeled cats “the world’s most uncooperative research subject,” and that a study in the journal Animal Cognition concluded that “the behavioral aspects of cats that cause their owners to become attached to them are still undetermined.” You dumb kids, we loved this place when it was a pit.

So go ahead and encourage us to adopt our very own bowwow buddies. Keep telling us how comforting a dog would be in our dotage. Go on saying: “You think you love that cat. Wait till you try a pup.” Sashay past us with that dachshund dolled up in a Rhys Hoskins jersey, or your chow chow with the lion cut, or that terrier with the tie-dyed hair. Woo us with research on how people who share their homes with canines are healthier, happier, and less likely to be visited by thieves. We’re Philadelphians. We know exactly what you’re up to. A new study from Penn Med says the number of olds who suffered bone fractures from walking their dogs more than doubled from 2004 to 2017. A full 17 percent of the total injuries were hip fractures, which just happen to give us a 30 percent chance of dying within a year. You kids may be yanking at the leash to take over this town. But Kitty and I will just wave from the window, thanks.

so we had a power outage yesterday night and today's morning so i spent and absurd amount of time writting for this tiktok prompt that was saying how we’re all worried whether or not we could pull our anime crushes when we should be thinking whether or not our anime crushes could pull us

And like hhhhh *head in hands* here goes nothing. Bc i spent my whole morning writting. for my top 4 HQ boys, kenma was the fifth but i didn’t finish the idea.

Iwaizumi

Okay but Iwaizumi could probably mmm okay if I were a second year and i had a crush on him i would probably ignore him? Like not ignore per se but probably would not even think he could like me, not bc im unlovable or anything (i think im pretty awesome) but bc i mean, I'm not even in his radar. Like in HS i was that student who despised sports except volleyball bc it was fun!! So maybe we befriend by me coming to the volleyball team to ask the coach if i can borrow a ball to play with my friends and the coach at firs was like 😐 so i go ☺️ and give him my student ID so he can be sure i will comeback and not steal his ball and if something happens he knows my info and he agrees!! So i go play with my friends and when i comeback the coach is not there anymore it's just Oikawa and Iwaizumi so i greet them and ask them where should i put the ball and they are like _oh, its you_ so i go ☺️☺️ yes its me! Thank them and i ask them for ny ID and Iwa gives it back so "Thanks iwaizumi san!" And go back my merry way and it becomes a ritual everyother day i come ask for the ball and return it to Iwa and one Friday we are having an event of sorts so all third years we have the day off classes and instead we have activities to do as a group and I go back to ask the couch for the ball but it's only Iwa so i ask him if he wants to play! He agrees and its funny bc hes still taller than me and some friends but we have fun! We get closer after that and we start greeting each other in the hall and maybe i even start going to see the team practice more often and its weird bc I'm next to Oikawas fangirls and i don't understand the hype? But its better than be alone and i always leave before they notice me until one day i lose track of time and i stay till the end of practice and Iwa sees me with bunch of oikawa's fangirls and I oblivious greet him and I'm flustered bc oh no what if he thinks im creepy but when i go down and tell him how he was doing great he goes ?? I thought you were watching oikawa? Why would I watch him when there's you? And we both realize what i just said so i yeet myself out bc thats embarrassing ❣️ and the next time he sees me he askes me why i did that and i just laugh and change the subject, its fun being friends with him. So if he told me he liked me i would be too shocked?? So I wouldn't be too sure to accept his confession but i would probably agree to hang out just the two of us, bc i would be interested but knowing myself i would eithrr be too conscious to accept or to eager so idk

BUT if we are talking about time skip! iwa the thoughts are the same like, if i do end up working in journalism or anything similar and idk let's say i end up working in sport news or something i probs would say _hi!_ to him or something and be friendly bc you always have to be nice even more so to the people you interview lmao so idk we end up as friends but he never asks me out bc i don't even process he might like me, sorry iwa chan. Like i am very oblivious lol.

Oh boy do I have been thinking hhhhh like you see the thing is with atsumu im pretty sure we would be like strangers to enemies to lovers I'm so sure of it. Like if he were my upperclassmen i would silently hate him and if we were in the same year i would straight out dispise him and roll eyes and be like 😐😐 why are you so cocky??? Like yeah hes actually very handsome and talented but ??? Hes soooo cocky around his fans like who does he think he is??? Idk I've always hated men lol So its most likely I would have banter around him in class like idk its my turn to speak in class he audibly yawns or coughs to interrumpt me so i accidentally forget to tell him to bring his USB for next day presentation bc schedule changed or when labs suddenly changed and we aree having chem lab and i remind everyone but it slips my mind to remind him stuff like that and one day we get paired up for math bc i suck and he doesn't suck as much so we have to work together and im trying to keep this stern vibe but he's joking around with Suna in the other table and I'm just losing my mind bc i need to pass and i ask him to kindly help me before i lose my mind so he kinda shifts like _sorry i know grades are important to you_ andf i go 👁️👁️ bc _...thanks_ and he ends up actually working so maybe he isn't as bad after all and maybe just maybe we can be friends.

So yeah i think after befriending him and seeing how he's not that bad i kinda do fall for him, but i would try to keep my "friends vibe" and be like everything is okay until one day its sports day or whatever and the volleyball team is playing against another good school and this is our last match as third years in a school event and everyone knows the Miya twins are Amazing and they are excited but i talk to atsumu in the changing rooms and just wish him good luck and i run back to the stairs bc that went awkward so the game begins and everyone is cheering bc we are winning but the other school wins the second set and now the third keeps us on our toes but of course everyone is giving their all and when finally atsumu sets osamu the final pass we win and everyone is screaming in excitement and us third years who where on the public go running towards them and we are all celebrating and I immediately go hug atsumu bc !!! We won and he hugs me back bc !!! We won!!! But then i realize we are too close and i get nervous again so try to move but he doesn't let me and 👉🏽👈🏽 i look at him and he looks at me and maybr something happens i don't know

nOw if we talk about time skip atsumu i don't think he's as cocky as when he was a teen, cuz like he's an adult of sorts. I sill don't know how could we meet tho, I have friends who play volleyball so maybe one day i ask if I can see them play and they are having a friendly match with some other people in the gym and I agree bc we are having food after the game so- Maybe we meet there, add him on socials and i realize he's a famous player 😐😐😐 and i talked to him casually but then i see a message request and its from him so we kinda statt talking. As I said, i don't know if I could realize if its mutual or not bc i never notice if someone i like likes me and if i notice its bc i know they don't like me, bc i only have noticed when strangers??? Not strangers perse but ppl who i don't like back like me lol. Kuroo would be too cocky to even pull me like with how i was in Highschool i would have most likely think he was playing around or too himbo for my liking bc yeah hes nice and all but? I remember having classmates that could fit the Kuroo criteria and some girls did crush on them but like? Maybe i would too but probably i would quickly be over it LMAO Like yeah i would probably get flustered if he flirted  but i would recover easily bc lmao he's just being friendly. Timeskip bokuto is in a similar story as iwa, if i do end up working in journalism and i meet him by chance it would be cute?? To see him show interest in me but i don't know if I would accept or notice? Bc I'm working and i should be professional but if he asks me out after they won s game i would probably say yes bc how can i not say yes to him LOOK AT HIM HHHHH *screams*

Does Sweating Burn Fat? Find out the Truth Here

When I was training martial arts years ago, there was a guy training while wearing a huge insulated jacket in the gym. It was 25 degrees outside. He was trying to slim down for a fight he would have 3 months from then. He was sweating like a pig (speaking about the iron ore smelting,[1] of course). In the training session, you felt sweat from this guy dropping on your face. That guy honestly thought that losing sweat means losing fat.

Does sweating burn fat? I wish I would’ve had the necessary knowledge back then, because if so, I could have told him that it doesn’t work this way.

Why we sweat

We sweat to minimize body temperature. Our body tries to be on a constant 37°C body temperature with slight fluctuations during the day. At this temperature, the enzyme activities of your body work the best.

Once your body exceeds these comfortable 37°C, it activates your sweat glands. You start to lose water along with salts, sugar and tiny amounts of waste products. You have about 2 to 4 million sweat glands in your body that cool you down.

The amount you sweat heavily depends on your genetics. The temperature and humidity level does influence your sweat rate, but so does your gender, age and fitness level.

You sweat more in heat and humidity, but that doesn’t mean you’re burning more calories or fat. It simply means your body has to release perspiration to bring your body temperature down. People with a higher amount of body fat tend to sweat a lot more because they have a greater amount of body mass to cool down.

Sweat and body fat

Fat gets released from fat cells to provide your body with energy. Your body breaks down the fat into its parts — fatty acids and glycerol — which are then metabolized.

Fat is quite hard to metabolize, but it’s possible. Read this article to see how I’ve lost my body fat or get in contact if you’re looking for a coach. The more energy you need, the more your body pulls from your fat cells. The bodily function that causes you to use fat for energy operates independently of the one that causes you to sweat.

Purposefully exercising in a hot or humid environment doesn’t mean you’re working harder to burn more fat. You’re simply raising your body temperature to a point that prompts you to sweat more.

When I was younger, I also thought that sweating increases the rate of body fat that you burn. If you sweat more, it simply means that you’re working harder, am I right?

But we have to realize that sitting on a beach on a 100-degree day doesn’t require a lot of energy and doesn’t use notable amounts of fat. You sweat because your body is just in need of serious thermoregulation.

On the other hand, when you work hard in sub-zero temperatures such as jogging in winter, you still burn fat even if your body doesn’t sweat as much to cool you down.

Weight loss or just water gone?

You may notice that after a shirt-drenching workout, the number on the scale has gone down. You haven’t dropped a few pounds of fat, but you have lost a fair amount of fluids. This is also why training with a jacket can make sense for a martial artist to lose weight short-term (to fit the right weight-class), but not months ahead of the competition.

But for normal people looking to get fit, you should replace that lost weight with water or a sports drink to avoid dehydration.

If you enter a workout dehydrated, you may not sweat at all. Your body increases in temperature but is unable to cool down efficiently again. This results in a decreased ability to perform. This is also why hydration is critical to reaching your performance goals.

Consume about half a litres until you begin a workout and at least 0.3 litres every 20 minutes during the workout session. In the end, you can drink 0.5 litres again (this might also help in muscle buildup).

Pro Tip: Weigh yourself before and after the workout and then compare the two numbers. When the scale says you’ve lost weight, drink fluids immediately. At best 0.5 litres to make up for every kilogram that you’ve lost.

Conclusion

You’ve probably heard about “Sweat is fat crying”. While I know it’s just a saying to get people stay motivated, now you know that it’s not true.

Sweating more doesn’t mean losing more fat. You sweat because your body is just in need of thermoregulation.

The harder you work out, the more sweaty you get because you are raising your body temperature to a point that prompts you to sweat more to cool down your body.
