illicit affairs
part 2 | part 3
YOU'D be a fool trying to convince yourself that Wanda was just some old hag sleeping on your bed that night. But god, she had never looked so peaceful and gorgeous than that very moment, as she was ten years ago. You didn't even know it was possible for someone to look so beautiful, it looked like a crime. As if the gods above blessed only those who were cruel. And cursed those who worshipped them.
Her creamy white legs were exposed from the blanket wrapped around her body. Her tiny soft snores filled the room as she buried herself deep into the pillows. It would take days before her scent would be gone from your sanctuary.
It tore you apart to look at her and feel these forbidden emotions, mad at yourself for feeling this way towards the old woman. You should hate her. You should have kicked her out for what she did.
You decided to go to the kitchen and make something for breakfast instead, preoccupying yourself from worrying too much, that the one nightmare you had always have had come true.
Even your hands were shaking as you beat down the eggs into a bowl, it was a miracle you had managed to cook food. The bacon almost ended up burnt when you jumped from her sudden presence in the kitchen.
"You're awake," you said, ignoring Wanda's gaze on you, her eyes glistening with a recognizable look. You knew that look. She used to look at you that way when you were wearing nothing but her white button down shirt as you made her a quick midnight snack whenever the twins weren't around. But that was ten years ago.
You don't feel anything for the woman anymore, right?
"I made us breakfast," you said before she opened her mouth to speak, stopping her. "You should eat first before you leave."
Wanda took small steps towards the dining table, looking at the food you made her. You wondered if she was touched, remembering how Wanda preferred scrambled eggs more than sunny side ups. But you convinced yourself you didn't do it for her. Because that would make you a martyr.
"This is good," Wanda softly said as you two began to eat in silence. You forced a small smile her way and went back eating.
"I haven't had breakfast like this for ages," she admitted, chuckling. "The boys mostly want cereals for breakfast, I ended up liking them, especially those colorful sweet ones, the . . . I forgot what they were called."
"Froot Loops?"
The skin around her eyes crinkled when she smiled. "Yes, Froot Loops. I swear I'd end up having diabetes one day."
You nodded, chugging down what remained of your coffee as you avoided the woman's gaze.
"What are your plans today? It's a Saturday," the brunette added. "The twins are planning to shop around Chinatown before the classes start. You might even have ideas where to-"
"I can't," you answered, "sorry, I am meeting someone today."
"Oh," she went on, a teasing smirk on her face, "a girlfriend?"
Your fork made a noise as you let it fall down your plate. "What do you want, Miss Maximoff?"
Wanda's smile immediately vanished as she stopped eating. "I . . . I'm sorry if I said something wrong. I didn't mean to pry if you have someone special-"
"No, I mean, what do you want? Why are you here? What were you thinking looking for me, for you to end up inside a sketchy bar?"
Wanda bit back a sob as she looked at you, her hand slipping to hold yours across the table. You tensed and abruptly took it away, ended up with her curling hers into a fist.
"I am so sorry, Y/n," she began, "I'm so sorry for what I did all those years ago, for what I said to you, for being so cruel. I . . . I have to live everyday regretting everything I have said to you. You didn't deserve those things. You were nothing but good to me, and I took you for granted. I . . . I just . . . miss you. I miss you, Y/n. There isn't a day in my life since you left that I haven't thought of you."
You scoffed, standing up as you began cleaning the dishes.
You heard the scraping of her chair against the floor as she stood. "I looked for you. After your graduation, I looked for you. I wanted to take back everything I said. I didn't mean those things. If I could only turn back time, I'd go back to that very day and I should've kissed you and chose you-"
"But you can't," you butted in as you turned to glance at the hysteric woman before you, "turn back the time, I mean."
Wanda was panting softly as her teary eyes stared right at you. She shook her head as she said, "No, I can't."
"That's unfortunate, then," you said back coldly.
Wanda swallowed, still frozen on her spot, and before she'd burst into more tears in your apartment, you went towards the doorway, grabbed your coat and keys. "I'm just gonna grab some coffee. Your clothes are freshly laundered in the bathroom if you want to freshen up before leaving. Please don't forget to lock the door when you leave."
"Y/n—" But you haven't heard the end of it as you closed the door.
Luckily, Wanda wasn't there when you went back home two hours after. But once you had ensured the whole apartment was empty, you broke down and cried.
TIME and absence would surely heal a wound. A couple of months had passed since that dreary encounter and you swore there were a few days when you had completely forgotten about Wanda. That was until you received a call late Friday night when you had only just arrived in your apartment.
It was a nurse from a nearby private hospital, saying that Tommy got into an accident. Before you argued why you were in his contacts in the first place, you drove to the hospital to visit.
Apparently, Tommy got into a fight in one of the fraternity parties he and his friends attended. With broken nose, cut lip and fractured arm, Tommy almost looked unrecognizable.
"Sorry, Y/n," Tommy said when he saw you enter the emergency room, "I didn't know who else to call. And I don't want to worry Mom-"
"It's okay, Tommy. Are you okay? What happened?"
And as you listened to Tommy and the nurse who attended to him, your breathing quickened, your hand hovering over the phone in your jean's pocket. Hesitant to call his mother, even if you knew you had to. Seeing the brunette was the last thing you wanted to do. But this was her son. Your feelings should come last.
Instead of calling the woman, you ended up sending her a short text message, to which she replied instantly, saying that she was already on her way.
You were getting a cup of coffee from a vending machine outside the hospital when Wanda arrived, hearing her voice inside the emergency room.
You decided to sit on the bench by the waiting area, thinking whether you should leave them or stay. You must have fallen asleep on your seat for a few minutes when you felt someone sit beside you.
"Thank you for being there for him," Wanda said.
"How's Tommy?"
"He's under some meds right now for the pain, but the doctor says he's going to be fine."
"That's good," you said.
"There's no available private room at the moment, so he has no choice but to stay in a ward with other patients," she went on, massaging her head. "Doctor said he'll likely be discharged tomorrow or the day after that."
"If you want, you can sleep in my apartment, take a bath or such, while waiting for him to get discharged," you offered. And you had no idea where such sympathy came from.
There was even a short moment where her eyes were at your mouth before she looked back at you.
"I don't want to impose—"
"Wanda, it's fine," you insisted. "For Tommy."
She nodded. "Thank you."
YOU VISITED Tommy in the ward first before leaving, while waiting for Wanda to finish filling up the papers in the hospital's admission room.
"You going to be fine alone?"
"I can manage," he replied, chuckling, showing off his cast.
"Will your father visit?"
The smile on his face disappeared, his fingers playing on the tape around his wrist. "Dad does not visit us often anymore. And I hardly believe he cared for us anyway, now that he has another family of his own."
That was news to you.
"I always tell Mom to find someone so she wouldn't end up alone," he went on, his eyes at the window where you two could see Wanda busy writing. "But she never remarried after Dad, maybe it was because she never trusts men like Dad anymore. But it's been years, you know. I know she's too scared to admit it, but I know she's lonely at home now that me and Billy are in college."
Your eyes were on Wanda as she talked to the Doctor. "I'm sure she'll find someone in the right time."
He laughed softly, making you look at him. "Come to think of it, they got divorced years ago, months after we didn't see you at the house anymore. There was one time Billy thought you were the other woman Dad has been cheating with. But I know you're not that bad of a person."
You stiffened. "You mean, they'd been divorced that long?"
Tommy hummed. "Yes, ten years ago, I guess. We eventually found out who the other woman was. Good thing we didn't curse you by mistake."
You forced to laugh at his joke, but your mind was running in deep circles wondering if the divorce really had something to do with you.
"COME on, don't be shy," your friend Steve invited Wanda, who looked as shocked as you were. "Any friend of Y/n is a friend of ours."
Somehow, when Wanda was returning the clothes you lent to her that time Tommy was hospitalized, there you were in your apartment with your friends, who held a surprised farewell party for Bucky, who was leaving for London the next day. As if Wanda knew perfect timing.
Kate hadn't left your side, even sitting between you just to eradicate any weirdness. The group's conversation went from talking about everyone's jobs, making Wanda let out her plans she was starting a flower shop business in New York and that she had just bought a spot particularly two blocks from the university. You tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, and convinced yourself she was only doing that to be closer to her boys. But you knew better.
Even Kate faked a laugh as she held another toast for the woman. "What about a special someone, Miss Maximoff? I heard you were divorced. Anyone you're meeting at the moment?"
Wanda's eyes met yours for a second before you looked away and drank whatever was left from your bottle of beer.
"No," she answered, chuckling. "I think I'm too old for that stuff anyway."
Bucky chortled. "No way you're old, Miss. If you want, I can set you up with people I know from work. I might even be successful on setting you up than Y/n here, whom I've failed a number of times."
"Why?" Wanda asked curiously.
Kate tried to stop Bucky. "Bucky, just give it a rest—"
"Oh, Y/n here has unknown high standards," Bucky enthusiastically added. "Believe me when dozens had gone down on their knees and Y/n has respectfully refused any advances."
"Shut up," you said, laughing, although you could tell Wanda's eyes never left yours all night long.
WHEN the party ended, all of the attendees slowly started to leave the apartment until there was only you and Wanda. Wanda helped you clean up the place, starting with throwing the empty boxes of pizza and bottles of beers into the trash bag.
"Y/n." Wanda broke the silence. Chappell Roan's casual was playing through the speakers.
"Mm?"
"Is it true?"
You stopped putting the dishes into the dishwasher to look at her. "Is what true?"
There was a small pause before she went on. "Have I ruined you for anyone else?"
You straighten your posture, frustrated as you glared back at her. "How dare you?"
"Then tell me," she challenged, approaching you with a sly smile on her face. "It's an easy question answerable by yes or no. Tell me."
"You infuriate me!"
"That's not a no—"
"You're nothing but a pathetic old slut who craves attention from someone who doesn't want her anymore!"
"Admit it then!" She leaned forward, closer to your face, her nostrils flaring. "Say it to my face that you don't feel anything for me anymore and I'll leave you alone for good! Tell me—"
You pushed your mouth against hers, effectively stopping Wanda from talking. She gasped upon the impact, with her back hitting the wall behind her from the force. And she welcomed you with as much aggression, her hands cupping your face to hold you.
With your arms on each side of her head, you pressed your bodies together, molding against each other. Her tongue played with yours, tasting what had been missed, wondering if each one of you were still as desperate as you were ten years ago.
"Y/N!" she moaned loudly a couple of minutes later as you pulled her hair, while roughly pistoning your strap into her from behind.
You had never thought you'd be able to do it. But there you were in your own bedroom with the woman you both loathed and loved so much on all fours before you. And it was driving you insane.
Mind filled with rage and lust, you tried to forget that this woman before you was the cause of your downfall. You tried to forget she hurt you, broke your heart to pieces as if you were nothing. Basking in the moment, you harshly grabbed the skin of her hips, nails digging, as you repeatedly and relentlessly pushed into her warm dripping entrance.
The tip of your strap hit your clit at the right angle, making you roll your eyes to the back of your head. And when you heard Wanda's whimpers before you, your hand slipped through her back then held her shoulder as you fastened the pace.
The brunette screamed as her body convulsed in waves, shuddering as she came. If it weren't for you holding her upright, she would've fallen straight face down on the sheets.
But her cumming didn't stop you from chasing your relief. The sweet nectar from her release dripping down both your thighs only made the action slippery and noisy.
"Y/n. . . ," Wanda moaned, her hand attempting to hold you back but you slapped her hand away before leaning forward as you held both of her hands behind her back. This rendered Wanda's face flat against the pillow before her, muffling her moans.
"Is this what you want, huh?" you demanded, eyes almost in tears seeing Wanda and pretending you weren't just loving every moment that was happening right now. "Is this what you want from me?"
"Yes!" she screamed, gasping when you spanked one of her butt cheeks. "Yes! Y/n! You're all I want! You're all I've ever wanted!"
And that snapped something inside you. The coil in your stomach exploded, making you press your front into her back as you lay on top of her.
"Wanda," you moaned into her neck, your hips stuttering as you came. She held your face behind her as your body shook.
"I got you, Y/n," she cooed softly as you panted, still trembling above her. "I got you."

"I want you to destroy me so I'll feel better"
Convincing Simon "Ghost" Riley to try something new. Well...not new for either of you, but a first for your relationship.
CW: name calling, degradation, violent choking (all consensual)
DEAD DOVE: DO NOT EAT
"You like what?"
Simon stands in front of you, hands in his hoodie pocket.
"I like being choked...until I pass out."
You repeat slowly. You know it was fucked up. You know it was bad. Everytime you did it you could feel your braincells dying. You sit on your hands at the edge of the bed. There's a moment of silence as he stares down at you.
"No."
He gives you that signature cold look of his: reserved for when you're in an argument you can't win. Or one he doesn't want you to win. 'You know this is useless. Give up. Quit while you're ahead.' It's like his voice was in your head.
"Are you afraid you're gonna hurt me?"
You always get your way at the end of the day. You knew it. He knew it.
"It's a stupid idea. Best to get that out of your head. Now."
He adjusts his mask before walking off.
"Please?"
You hug him from behind while he cooks eggs.
"No."
"Please?"
You wrap your arms his neck and lie on top of him while watching TV.
"No. Stop asking."
"Please?"
You're in bed when he goes to turn off the lights.
"..."
He resorts to ignoring you. You're getting closer to cracking him.
It goes on like this for two weeks. Usually he gives in by now, but you're making progress. Instead of engaging, he just leaves the room now.
"How did you even find out you liked that?"
He doesn't look at you while he spoons cereal into his mouth, mask rolled up just enough.
"I think it's something about an abusive ex choking me."
You take a bite of your cereal.
"Something about 'reclaiming your power after past traumas'. At least that's what my therapist said. Not sure if I believe that, but I can't think of any other reason I like it."
You shrug as you chew.
"Hm."
He keeps eating.
Breakfast is silent after that. You always get your way at the end of the day. You knew it. He knew it.
"Can't believe I'm doing this..."
He mumbles, kneeling over you while you lie on the floor.
"C'mon you've done this dozens of times."
You smile up at him.
"That's different and you know that."
He looks down at you, slightly disappointed.
"Sorry."
"It's fine..."
It's quiet. He shifts and the floorboards creak.
"So just until I pass out, then you can stop. I'll wake right up after."
You rub your hands on his knees.
"Mhm. Tap out whenever you want."
His gaze is intense, like he was fighting with himself. He places a hand on your neck gently.
"Can you be a little mean?"
Your heart races.
"Fucks sake, choking ain't enough for you?"
He wraps the other hand around your throat lightly.
"Would it be fucked up if I fought back?"
You flash a cheeky smirk.
"Don't do that."
He rubs his thumbs against your skin.
"Ok. Ready."
You take a deep breath and relax. He clears his throat and puts some pressure on your neck. You nod, looking up at him.
"Hm."
He applies more pressure until you can barely breathe. You take shallow breaths and close your eyes. His grip gets tighter. You can't inhale. You shift your hips under his.
"Don't. Move."
His words send a chill up your spine. He never used this tone with you before. It was terrifying. You try to swallow nervously. The last few exhales you have leave your lungs.
"Look at me."
You keep your eyes closed, a few rough taps to your face snap them open. His eyes are glossed over and dark, a frenzied shark. You find it in your chest to whimper.
"Shut the fuck up."
His hands wrap around you harder. It's starting to hurt. You lift your hands to grab his wrists. He gives a solid shake, banging your head on the floor and making you see stars. He leans down, pressing his masked mouth to your ear.
"Told you. Don't. Move."
Your lips opened and closed like a fish out of water. Swallowing became impossible. Your eyes watered, you could feel Simon's hands shaking. Then, darkness. It's quiet, peaceful, only lasts less than a second. And just like that, you're conscious. A delicious head rush and breath of fresh air leaves a goofy smile on your face.
"Unbelievable..."
Simon shakes his head, leans back on his knees, and huffs. You stare at the ceiling for a moment, catching your breath. Simon scoots back and you watch as he adjusts himself.
"Have fun?"
You tease. Before you can rag on him more, he yanks both your bottoms off and sits you right on his hard dick.
"Fuckin hell. You really do like that shit, huh?"
He grips your ass and glides you up and down as your dripping wetness clamps down on him. You're already drooling from the sensation of him parting you wide open so easily. You always get your way at the end of the day. You knew it. He knew it.

And They Were Roommates pt.2
Tumblr media
Summary: part 2 and Moving In
You smelled the brewing coffee before you fully woke up. Your bed still surrounded by boxes from the moving you did all day yesterday. The boys, of course, offered help in every step of the way. You told them that it was fine, you could handle moving yourself, but they insisted. They helped you move box after box until you were fully moved into their house. Your house now.
You sighed looking at all the work you still had to do. You had to unpack all your clothes, hang up your pictures and decorations, and put together some furniture. It was all seeming too much at the moment and you decided to push it off until later. You needed to wake up a bit more, maybe finally shower without worrying you’ll catch something.
You walk out of your room and begin down the stairs when you hear lively conversation. Reaching the bottom of the steps and turning into the kitchen, loud laughing reaching your ears. Sirius and Remus are sitting at the table, the latter sipping from a yellow mug and the former engaged in a discussion with James who was cooking eggs at the stove. Once they noticed you had entered their attention turned wholly to you. “Ah there she is!” James beamed. “How was your first night?” All three of their attention locked onto you, waiting for your reply.
You wrapped your arms around yourself, suddenly rethinking your choice of a baggy shirt and shorts. “It was good.” you squeaked out. The boys all smiled at you.
“There's coffee if you’d like,” Remus said “and there's cereal in the cupboard.”
“Oh that’s ok. I’m alright, thanks,” you said walking over and sliding into a chair next to Sirius at the little table.
“You don't want anything? I can make you something! I can whip up some pancakes, or I can make some more eggs and bacon.” James asked.
“No, I'm sure. I don't normally eat breakfast anyway.” You said, trying not to hurt his feelings.
He snapped his head to you. “Oh no…” you hear Sirius sigh under his breath. “What do you mean you don't eat breakfast? You have to have breakfast, it’s important,” James started." You'll be hungry and you need the energy, won't you, after moving all day yesterday?”
You felt slightly like a child being lectured by their mother for not eating breakfast but Remus stepped in for you “James, mate, leave her be.”
James seemed to drop it but shook his head as if baffled why anyone wouldn’t want breakfast. You looked over to Sirius and Remus who were smirking knowingly. “It’s alright love,” said Sirius, “he’s chastised both of us for not eating as well, that’s why we have coffee now.”
You smiled and nodded, hugging your knees to your chest in the chair. You all sat in a comfortable silence for a moment until James finally sat down at the final place at the table with a plate full of breakfast. “So, what can we help with today?” he asked you.
You felt a bit surprised. You thought they would leave you to your unpacking alone, but apparently they wanted to help you through every step of the process. “Oh uh… nothing really, I just have to unpack and decorate.” you said, trying not to burden them with the task of helping you, besides they could be doing other things with their day rather than being stuck helping you again.
“Ok well…,” James started “we can help with all that.”
“N-no, no. That would be too much I mean… you all helped so much and..,” You looked to the other two, hoping they might help bail you out again but they were looking at you the same way James was, with hope and eagerness to help. In all fairness it would be easier for them to hang up your posters and paintings, and you could use some help putting your bed frame together… Maybe they just wanted to spend time getting to know you as well.
“Ok maybe I could use a little help” you said. They warmed up instantly and it made you feel a little strange. They were so kind. Almost to a fault, and their willingness to go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, it was extraordinary. You had never lived with a group of boys before and you hadn't ever expected them to be like this, so generous. “But before we start, I would like to shower first if that’s ok?” you said.
They all nodded and agreed. “Of course,” said Sirius.
“I just,” you laughed softly “I just finally want to be able to have a warm shower, and not worry about catching any kind of sickness.”
The boys laughed with you. Sirius smirked and said “I don’t know about that, sweetheart, you share a bathroom with James. You never know what you can catch in there.” Sirius laughed. This set Remus off, throwing his head back laughing. James, offended but smiling, throwing a bit of toast at him.
“I am cleaner than both of you combined!” James hollered, turning to you “don’t listen to them.” This all made you giggle and feel a bit at ease, feeling like you were settling into the house a bit more.
You four spent the rest of the morning and afternoon in your bedroom. Sirius was helping you sort through clothes and put them away. Remus was hanging your decorations up (you made him because he was the tallest and could hang pictures higher than the other two or yourself) and James was indeed putting together your bed frame.
“How many clothes do you own!? We've been through two boxes- IS THAT ONE ALL SHOES?!” Came from Sirius. You just laughed.
The whole day was a day full of laughter and jokes, they got to know you a little more, and you them. You asked how they all became friends and learned they went to a boarding school with each other and Lily. You all decided that Remus definitely had the coolest name, Sirius Black is cool too, has mystery and intrigue, but Remus Lupin is a name that could be written in a legendary tale. You found out that though they have a tv, they don’t really watch tv, preferring movies over tv.
Opening up little by little and coming out of your shell ever so slightly, you thought that you could see yourself being friends with them. Real, actual friends. They were fun and funny, charming and witty. This in tandem with the kindness that they showed, you decided that you were quite happy to be living in the house indeed.

When Steve wakes up, he is very confused. His room looks very different and unfamiliar- but he knows it's his. It still has the plaid wallpaper his mom had picked out for him (he hadn't liked it, but there was a lot of lines and pretty colors).
The toy car his babysitter, Sarah, had gotten him for his fifth birthday isn't on his dresser anymore. He knows that she'd left it there for him last night, playfully insisting that he couldn't play with it until his actual birthday.
He'd been so excited to play with it. He wants to cry, and wail. He wants to run to his parents and scream until they give it back.
But they aren't home. That's why his babysitter had been over the previous night. They have a very important business trip that they aren't allowed to miss, not even for Steve's birthday.
The pictures in the hall look different too. Sarah had put up some cool pictures for him. She'd done the same for his fourth birthday. They had to take them down at the end of the day, but it had been nice to have family pictures up. Even if it was just for a day.
Sarah isn't downstairs.
He almost does scream this time. She'd promised that she'd stay the night, sleeping on the sofa, so he could have pancakes for breakfast. It's one of the many things that he can't, or isn't allowed, to make on his own.
His cake isn't in the fridge either. He even pulls a chair over so he can climb on it, to see if she'd hidden it on one of the higher shelves.
He sits on one of the dining chairs, watching the clock, and waiting.
After two hours pass, he gives up any hope he has.
Sarah, just like his parents, is probably too busy for him. He reasons that she probably just forgot to tell him. His mom had done that one time- it had stung, but he couldn't blame her. He forgot lots of stuff, even if it is important.
The only cereal in the pantry is some plain, corn brand that he doesn't recognise. It tastes just as bad as it looks, but there isn't a lot of food anymore.
At least, not a lot that he can make.
He has a second bowl, putting a few spoons of sugar in. It's not much better, but he doesn't feel so hungry anymore.
The TV looks different too. There's weird and new things playing. It's fun, interesting, and distracts him well enough that he's able to keep himself from worrying about how long he'll have to be alone again.
The next day goes the same.
The third day, he risks cooking. It ends up a little burnt, but it's better than cereal all the time.
The fourth day, he can't eat the food he tries to cook. It smells too nasty. He has to have cereal again. The sugar helps.
The fifth day, he doesn't risk cooking. His parents have never left him alone, without a babysitter, for more than a week, so he'll have a nice meal soon.
The sixth day, he checks their voicemail. There's a few odd messages from grown up sounding people, asking about how he's feeling, but he doesn't recognise any of their voices. He doesn't know what numbers he should try calling. He hopes they try calling again.
The seventh day, he sits at the bottom of the stairs. He stares at the front door, ready to jump up and give his mom and dad a warm welcome home.
The eighth day, he's starting to worry. Surely his parents will remember to call a different babysitter?
The ninth day, there's a key in the door. He almost misses it, sat in the kitchen, glaring at his cereal.
"Steve!" Someone calls. It sounds like one of the nice, unfamiliar grown ups who left a voicemail message. "Stevie! You here? How are- oh my god."
"Hi," Steve greets. He waves, tries giving his most polite smile. He almost forgets to keep his lips shut- his dad told him that his teeth don't look nice enough for a grin that big yet. "You're one of the nice people who left me a message, right?"
She stares at him for a long moment, mouth hanging open. "Steve?"
"That's me! What's your name?"
"Robin."
He sticks a hand out to her. "I's nice to meet you Miss Robin!"
"Yeah," she replies, voice high and thin. Her hand is trembling when she gently shakes his hand. "I'm... gonna need to use your phone. Real quick, ok?"
"Um... ok. But you can't make long distance calls, mommy will be very mad at me." He bites his thumb nail, following her into the hall. "Are you a babysitter? Is Sarah sick?"
"Sarah?" Robin echoes, questioningly. She's only half paying attention though, pushing in a phone number.
"My babysitter. She was supposed to be here for my birthday."
"It's your birthday?" She chokes out, spinning around so fast she stumbles. She looks heartbroken.
"Not anymore! It's ok, you don't need to be sad. She gave me my present early too, so it was good."
"Wait. How long have you been... what have you been eating?"
"Um. Cereal, mostly. All the food is different. It's weird."
"That's not- oh, hi," she turns away slightly, talking to whoever is on the phone. "Yeah, I'm at Steve's right now. Gather, like, everyone. We have a major emergency."
"No!" Steve quickly says. He tugs at the bottom of her top. "Not an emergency! You can't say that, you'll get me in trouble!"
"You don't understand, this is-"
"No, please," he pleads. He can only hope he won't get in trouble for talking back to her. "I'm sorry."
"Ok, ok, alright," she agrees. She pauses for a second, listening. "No, that was Steve. Yeah, exactly, that's why-"
"Tell them it isn't an emergency. Please. If dad hears, I'll be in big trouble."
"Ok, big guy. It's not an emergency. Just... yeah, do that. Yeah. Alright. No, I'll be fine. I can deal with it. Ok, see you soon."
She hangs up with a sigh, turning to look at him. She still looks sad.
"Are you ok, Miss Robin?"
Her laugh sounds strained, but she laughs. "I'm alright. How are you?"
"I'm ok. Do you know when mommy and daddy will be back?"
"I don't. I'm sorry, Stevie."
"It's ok. It's only, like... I can't really, uh, cook."
"I can make you something. What's your fave? It was your birthday, you said? Let's get you something special! How old are you?"
He stumbles a little, trying to keep up with her fast talking as well as he long strides. "I'm five. Sarah was going to make me pancakes."
"We can do pancakes." She searches the cupboards and fridge, frowning. "Where is anything?"
"I dunno. I looked but everything is all gone or weird."
"Well... we'll just have to have pancakes later. Special pancakes, for the special birthday boy."
"I guess."
She steps close, putting her hands on her hips as she looks him over. "Are you sure you're five? Did you hit your growth spurt early? You're getting real big."
"I dunno. Mommy says I'm gonna be tall and be a real ladies man, or something."
"Do you even know what that means?"
"Not really. Mommy thinks it's cool though."
"Hm. Are you too big to pick up?"
"Oh, you're not supposed to. Daddy says I'm a big boy now. Big boys don't get picked up."
"Your dad's an asshole."
Steve giggles, quickly covering his mouth with both hands. "You're not supposed to say that! It's a naughty word!"
"Supposed to do this, supposed to do that," she tutts. She leans down, scooping him up into her arms, resting him on her hip. "Your five, stop being so boring!"
Her hand feels so big on his back, like there's no way he could fall with her holding him. She doesn't even seem to mind his hand automatically grabbing the collar of her shirt.
"Daddy doesn't like it when people pick me up."
"What do you like? Hm? Do you want me to put you down?"
"... No."
"Then I'm not putting you down. Daddy isn't here to tell us off, is he? And what he doesn't know, can't hurt him."
She bounces him a few times, making him giggle. Judging by her satisfied grin, that was her aim.
It confuses him, a little. Mostly because she keeps doing that- little things, little comments, trying to make him laugh. Trying to make him smile. Even just listening to him talk about things. Little things. Silly things. Like she isn't annoyed when he goes on, and on, and on.
By the time another person comes in, he's decided that she's the best person in the whole wide world. If she puts him down or tries to leave, he's going to throw a tantrum.
He knows it's bad, but he doesn't want her to leave too. She's cool.
"Oh, God. Robin, please tell me that the baby isn't Steve."
"He's five," Robin corrects. "And yes, it's Steve. I checked, it's him."
"What the hell happened to him?"
"I don't know, I called you!"
"Is something wrong with me?" Steve asks, voice quiet and timid.
"No!" Robin quickly tries to say, at the same time the man says, "yes, obviously."
"Dustin!" Robin scolds.
"What? Lying to him won't help!"
"Neither will being a dick about it!" She tutts at him, adjusting Steve in her arms when she looks to him. "It's nothing, like, bad. It's just kinda weird. See, when we saw you, a week ago... you were a little bit older than me. And now you're five."
Steve stares at her for a moment. She looks too serious, too honest.
"Weird," he says.
"Exactly," she agrees. "From what you've said, though, it's not that bad. You're still you, and you're healthy. You're just... not so big."
"Maybe El can fix him," Dustin mutters, squinting at Steve. He leans close. "When did this happen?"
"He's been like this for a week," Robin tells him. Her voice is quiet, almost scared- it doesn't help that Dustin looks horrified too. "At least."
"Who's been taking care of him?"
"No one."
"What the hell," Dustin turns his frown on Steve. "Why didn't you call anyone?"
"Not supposed to unless it's a real emergency," Steve says. "Mommy says she has a repo... rep... rep-yuh-tay-shun. It's a big thing."
Dustin looks heartbroken, turning to Robin, who shrugs back at him. He groans after a pause, frowning at Robin. "Shit. You can't drive."
"Oh, shit."
"I'll call Eddie," Dustin sighs, already heading to the hall.
"Who's Eddie?" Steve asks.
"Eddie's a friend. He looks a little scary, but don't worry. He's a big softie, an absolute teddy bear." She leans close, whispering loudly with a grin. "Don't tell him I told you, though. He likes to pretend that he's all tough and mean."
"And he's... not mean?"
"Not a cruel bone in his body."
"Ok," he bites at his thumb, frowning when Robin gently pulls his hand out his mouth. "You won't leave though, right?"
"I'm not going anywhere."
"You gotta promise, though! Pinky Promise!" He lifts a hand, sticking his pinky up- Robin almost immediately wraps her own around his.
"I promise I won't leave you. Who knows what could happen if I leave you alone with the gremlins." She pretends to shudder. "Oh, the horrors.."
"He'll be here in five minutes," Dustin announces.
"That's... quick."
"Yeah. I barely got out 'Steve is in trouble' before he hung up."
"Maybe don't start like that next time," Robin rolls her eyes. She adjusts Steve again, trying to sit him higher on her hip. "He's probably breaking at least, like, five speeding laws or something."
"I don't think that's how it works."
"Whatever." She huffs. "Jesus. Steve, bud, I might need to put you down for a sec."
"Oh... um... do you have to?"
"My arms are really starting to hurt, bud," she says. She looks as upset at the idea as he feels. "Maybe we could sit down together. Would that be a good compromise?"
"Yeah!" He grins. "What's a comp- compa-"
"Com-pruh-mise." She says it slowly, careful to sound it out, as she sits down on the sofa. She pulls Steve around so he's sat on her knees, facing her. She keeps one hand on his back, supporting him.
"Com-pa-mise," Steve repeats.
"Oh, that was great!" Robin encourages, laughing at how big and excited Steves responding grin is. "Well, compromise is when..."
Robin is so patient with him, taking her time with him, making sure he understands what she's saying- before easily jumping onto whatever tangent he brings up.
It feels like only a few minutes have passed by the time the doorbell rings. Dustin stands to answer- Steve had completely forgotten he was there the whole time, too caught up in his conversation with Robin.
He doesn't come back for a moment. Steve can hear muttering, straining to hear what they're saying, but the living room doors shut.
A man follows him inside. He's tall, with long hair and dark clothes. He looks different to anyone Steve has ever seen before. He looks scary.
"Oh god," he mumbles, frowning at Steve. "You're not joking."
Steve tugs at Robins sleeve, leaning close to her, whispering, "who's that?"
"Oh, right!" Robin groans when she stands, lifting Steve with her. "Steve, this is Eddie. Eddie, this is Steve."
"This is Steve," Eddie repeats. "Jesus Christ."
"Why do you look so scary?" Steve blurts out. He slaps a hand over his mouth, horrified.
But Eddie just laughs. "Damn, Stevie, tell me what you really think."
"You do!" Steve snaps, face warming. "All the black and chains and stuff."
"Robin is wearing 'black and chains and stuff'."
"Yeah, but Robins cool."
"You wound me," Eddie gasps, slapping a hand to his chest. "I'm totally cooler than Robin."
"Nope," Robin quickly cuts in. "Steve said I'm cool, not you. It's been said, declared- no, decreed! Facts are facts, Eds, suck on it!"
"Ew," Steve and Eddie say in sync, grimacing.
"Alright," Dustin interrupts, hands on his hips. "You're introduced, now can we go? Now?"

Lazy morning
Francis x reader
This diary entry contains…Fluff|established relationship|Baker x milkman is now my favorite thing to write for this man| Mentions of the doppleganger incident going on|Reader and francis are honestly the happiest couple in that damn complex.|
Tumblr media
The quiet start to your morning was ruined by Francis's loud alarm clock. You groaned as you turned over and placed a pillow over your ear to block out the sound. The bakery was closed for the day due to some construction that needed to be done. You could hear Francis mumble a small apology to you as he turned off the clock.
The feeling of some weight being lifted off the bed made you take the pillow off your ear and place in back in its proper spot. Unlike you, Francis still needed to do his rounds for the day before he could come back home and spend the rest of it with you." If it makes you feel better, we can start the day together" You yawned out as you sat up. Francis nodded as he lazily looked through the closet for his work uniform.
"I wished I could take the day off but I'm aiming for perfect attendance for this week" he said as he pulled out the familiar set of white clothes. You got out a bed before stretching." I think you're doing a good job so far" you said as you fixed up your spot of the bed and slid your feet into the cupcake slippers Francis had bought you as a gift.
You followed Francis to the bathroom where you flipped the light out and turned to sink on." I hope I don't have to do many deliveries today. Half the people I deliver milk too don't even use it I bet" He mumbled out as he grabbed his toothbrush and wetted it. You grab the toothpaste before applying a good amount onto Francis's before putting some on yours.
"Milk isn't a favorite of lots of people. I don't even know why you bother to still bring it to them" you say before popping the toothbrush into your mouth. Francis shrugged as he brushed his teeth for a good 2 minutes before spitting the toothpaste into the sink.
"People claim to want to start to drink milk more but we know that never works out for long" He says as he grabbed his washcloth and began to start his skincare routine.
You nodded as you fill a cup with water and took a sip before swishing it around your mouth and spitting it back out into the sink, Rinsing the sink out in the process.
Once the two of you were done in the bathroom, you made your way to the kitchen where you didn't feel like cooking, so you decided to make two bowls of cereal." Did you want frosted flakes or are you feeling like cheerios?" You asked as grabbed the spoons and put them into the bowl.
"Cheerios" Francis said as he went to go put his shoes on by the front door. You grabbed the box before pouring some in a milk themed bowl you bought Francis one day when you went to the store.
You picked whatever cereal you liked and poured into a cake themed bowl that you bought yourself. You poured milk into both before setting them onto the table and taking a seat.
Francis joined you as he poked at his cereal a little before taking a couple of bites of it. "I'm a little worried., About the whole doppelganger thing" you say while taking a spoonful of cereal and eating it. Francis looked at you before giving you a weak smile.
"I know, it's pretty scary to think about. But hopefully that new doorman can do their job right and figure out who is actually a real person." Francis said as he finished off his cereal. You took your last bite before handing Francis your bowl as he gladly took it and placed them in the sink.
"I trust them. They seem to be very good at their job so!" you said, trying your best to think positive as you looked over Francis. His facial features were so easy to remember as you had seen it a bunch of times so you would know right away if it was a doppelganger.
"Now, I sadly must leave you here all alone so I can go give people their milk" he said as he began to walk to the front door. You followed after him like a lost puppy as you gave him a smile.
"Don't take too long! and take breaks also please dear" you say as Francis nods as he put on his hat before grabbing his keys as he turns to look at you. "I promise I'll take breaks" he says as you squint your eyes before holding out your pinky to him.
"Are you really about to make me pinky promise on this?" He chuckles before interlocking his pinky with you. "Yes, and you better not break it" you say before placing a small kiss onto his cheek.
"I think I deserve one on my lips" he said as he grabbed your waist and placed a quick kiss on your lips. You giggled as you tipped his hat a little." Be safe please, I wouldn't be able to handle the thought of one of those monsters getting you" you say as you fixed his hat back as he removed his hands from your waist.
"I can just throw a bottle of milk at them if they even thought about bothering me" he said as he unlocked the door and opened it. "I'll be back soon" he said as he stepped out, closing the door behind him.
You locked the door back up before sighing as you shuffled back to the living room and plopped onto the couch as turned the TV, At least you could watch your favorite show without Francis commenting on it every five seconds.

When he's sick/injured
Tumblr media
Includes- Toji, Sukuna, Nanami, Gojo, Geto
A/N- Geto has twin daughters in this
Tumblr media
Sukuna-
Sukuna wasn't going to let a measly cold stop him, he was a king after all. Yet he still stays confined to his room not to get his daughter or wife sick. His daughter was rebellious refusing to take orders from anyone, even her father, that's why she went into his bedroom despite being told not to, carrying a big bowl full of her father's favourite soup with some meat inside it. "Hi dad!" Placing the bowl next to him as he sat outside on the porch getting some fresh air. "Hi baby" ruffling her hair as she sat down, maybe he was feeling nice since he was sick?
"I brought you some food" pushing it towards him. "Uraume said that it helps" kicking her little legs as she saw how he ate it, she had made it herself so it would be a blessing if he actually enjoyed it. "I made it myself, with the help from Uraume. She cooked the meat and I made the soup" pointing to it.
"You got more?" Handing her the empty bowl. "Oh, Oh yes!" She was even surprised he liked it, getting up as she ran towards the kitchen. Smiling to himself as he saw how his daughter acted.
Nanami-
During a mission he broke his wrist, fortunately it was already healing due to shoko, yet he had to come home with the white cast visible due to his shirt. "What happened to your arm daddy?" Pointing to the cast. "I fell" lying as he didn't want her to know the truth of how he got it. "Oh."
Pulling out the chair for whenever he came down to eat. "I will get you food!" Smiling up at him as he sat down "Thank you sweetheart" patting her head. Bringing back a bowl full of cereal, it was overflowing a bit due to the milk but it was fine. This was now a regular occurrence during the time he broke his wrist, having his daughter take over his responsibilities despite not asking to.
About to get up to go change the clothes from the washing machine into the dryer but his daughter beat him to it, running towards the dryer as she opened the door, "I will put it in the dryer!". "You don't have to." He knew she'd get upset if he didn't allow her to, but he really wanted her to go spend her time with her friends or atleast something else.
Geto-
Suguru was sick, well it was actually the common cold since it was winter, not a big deal, but his daughter's made it the biggest deal ever. Forcing you to take them to the costume store to buy nurses outfits, making sure that they had all the right equipment before checking on their father. "Daddy, we've come to do a checkup on you!" Her little smiles as she waddled in, pushing a toy trolley full of toy medical supplies. A glass of water, a stethoscope, plasters, temperature monitor, you get the jist. "Yes yes" nodding in response as they tried to close the door behind him. Picking up his daughter as he out them on the bed along with the trolley. "First, we need the temperature thingy" grabbing it from the bag as she stuck it in his mouth, making him almost gag because it was full force. "Mummy is making you soup so you need to rest." Her twin sister was waiting for the soup to be ready so that she could bring it to him.
"Here you go baby" handing her a bowl of soup, watching over as she worked slowly not to spill it.
Putting the bowl on the nightstand. "Now the stethoscope!" Putting it in her ears as she placed it all around his upper body. "It goes here sweetheart" moving her hand so that the plastic touched his bare chest instead of his head. "36! You have a fever daddy" trying to diagnose him, yet she was wrong. Atleast she tried her best.
Gojo-
He was a bit overdramatic when it came to you spending more time with him, one example of this is the fact that he sometimes refuses to use his reverse cursed technique so that you can patch him up.
"Ow!" See normally you'd be the one to wrap him up with bandages but since you were already asleep, his son decided to help out. Using his arm as a handle so that he didn't fall off the sofa as he tightened the bandage. "Your pulling too hard" trying to loosen the material. "It's like a tourniquet!" He was taught to make sure the wrapping was tight or else it wouldn't work. "It's a small scrape" defending himself. "It could get infected! So you need to be safe" he clearly learnt that off you since Satoru was so careless.
Toji-
His daughter has a dream of becoming a nurse, it was always short lived though since she kept changing professions, last week she wanted to be a princess and the month before she wanted to be a president. "Okay dad, I will be your doctor for today!" Sat on the sofa as he watched her try and climb up, he'd never allow someone else to do this to him other than his daughter. The scar on his shoulder was practically healed by now, yet she still wanted to check it out. "Okay, does this hurt?" Pressing down on mark. "No" fingers digging further into his skin. "Now?" Looking back up at him as she sat on his arm.
"Nope" he was already tired of this as she was just messing around but he'd entertain his daughter if it meant seeing her happy. "How about now?" Shaking his head as she pouted. "I can give you paracetamol for now" climbing off the man as she buttoned up her doctor's jacket. "But I said it didn't hurt" writing down some words on a piece of paper. "Well I am the doctor here" smirking at the man.

You were finally in Bradley's arms. Aside from your hangover and banged up knee, you seemed no worse for the wear. Just a little shaken up from those assholes taunting you last night. As he leaned back against his headboard, you were curled up against his chest wearing his favorite sweatshirt.
"I love you," he whispered again, rubbing the bare skin of your back and waist beneath the sweatshirt. You hadn't returned the sentiment, but it didn't matter. You just snuggled a little closer to him every time he said it to you.
When your stomach growled, you looked up at him and laughed softly. "Come on," he said, kissing your forehead as he withdrew his hand from your soft skin. "I'll make you breakfast."
Now you were looking at him with concern as you straddled his thighs. "You'll make me breakfast? Sorry, but I'm not going to eat anything you cook."
Bradley tipped his head back and started laughing. "You got me there, Princess. But I can get you a bowl of cereal."
You just shook your head and slid off of his lap, taking his hand in yours. "I'll make you breakfast," you told him, looking back at him over your shoulder as he followed you down the hallway. He'd follow you anywhere today. Do anything you wanted to do. As long as you kept him with you.
He turned on the coffee maker and pulled two mugs down as you bent in front of the refrigerator. Your bare legs and his oversized sweatshirt made him feel weak. You handed him some eggs and the gallon jug of milk. "Do you have cinnamon?" you asked as he set the milk and eggs on the counter.
"You don't actually have to make me breakfast," he whispered as you kissed his chin.
"I'm hungry for French toast," you told him, so he located the cinnamon for you. Then he watched you work, helping with everything you asked him to. And when the kitchen smelled like cinnamon, and there were slices of bread sizzling on the stovetop, Bradley handed you a mug of coffee.
"Can you help me with something on my phone?" he asked softly, wrapping his arms around you from behind as you sipped your coffee and flipped a piece of bread.
You set down the mug that said Aviators Look Down on Others and glared at him over your shoulder. "If you ask me to delete another dating app, I will rage. Do you understand me?"
"It's not that," he promised.
"Well, then what can I help you with, old man?"
Bradley couldn't help but smile at your words as he ran his mustache along the side of your neck. "Help me change this." He tapped on your contact name which was still listed as Babysitter. He deleted that word as he let his chin rest on your shoulder, making sure you were looking at his phone. Then he typed out My Princess before he opened his photo gallery.
"It doesn't look like you need my help," you whispered as he scrolled through all of his pictures of you and Noah and the occasional one related to something at work. "Oh wait, yes you do," you said, pointing to the dirty pictures you had sent him. "You need to save those in a private folder, Daddy."
He was beyond delighted that you had just called him Daddy. "That's something else you can help me with," he murmured, scrolling further until he found the first selfie you sent to him. The one where you were wearing your purple crown. He set it at your contact photo and kissed your cheek
"Give me that," you told him after you flipped the pieces of French toast again. He handed you his phone and watched you move all the dirty photos he loved so much into a new folder that you labeled Princess. "And you can enter the passcode when you want to look at them," you said as you saved today's date as the four digit code.
"Why did you make it today's date?" he asked as you spun to face him and pressed his phone to his chest. He grabbed it as you let go and wrapped your arms around his neck. You kissed him hard, devouring his mouth as you sighed softly. Bradley tossed his phone onto the counter next to the mugs and let his hands slide up your sides beneath his soft sweatshirt.
"Because," you told him between kisses, running your fingers up into his hair and looking him in the eye. "Today's the day you told me you love me."
"Baby," he moaned against your lips, reaching behind you to turn off the stove burners.
You kept your body snug against his, even when you let your hands trail down to the bottom of his undershirt and whispered, "Daddy."
You peeled his shirt off, finally letting him feel your hands everywhere. "Please. Let me take you back to bed." He had never been intimate with you there, but he'd been dreaming about it for a long time. Hell, last night was the first time you and he had a real sleepover. The first time he got to hold you all night.
Immediately you started pushing him toward the hallway, and he hoisted you up into his arms as you squeaked. "I got you," he promised.
-------------------------
There had to be something wrong with you, because you couldn't physically stop smiling. Bradley had taken you to his bed, set you down gently right in the middle of it, and started kissing you everywhere. His sweatshirt was pushed up to your breasts, his big hands squeezing your sides while he kissed the spot just below your belly button.
You were panting softly, and you could tell how wet you were by the way your lace underwear clung to you. But he seemed to be in no hurry, so you just let him keep it up. Lips and mustache found your injured knee, and he kissed all around the bandage before gently guiding your leg over his shoulder.
"I've been dreaming about this," he whispered against your inner thigh. When his fingers teased along the elastic of your underwear, you thought he was going to remove them, but he just kept driving you crazy instead.
A soft laugh bubbled out of your lips. "You dreamed about rescuing me from frat boys and having your way with me?"
"No," he grunted, easing his large body over yours, while you kept your leg on his shoulder. You could feel his hard cock rub your core through both of your underwear, and you pressed up against him. "I dream about having you in my bed. Having you all to myself. Don't get me wrong, I love sharing you with Noah," he mumbled, pushing the sweatshirt up and palming your tits with his massive hands. "But when you're like this, you're all mine."
As your back arched off the bed, Bradley's lips met your nipple, kissing and caressing you like nobody else ever had. "Daddy," you whispered before your eyes fluttered closed.
"All mine," he muttered, licking the valley between your breasts before sucking on one nipple and then the other.
You cried out for him, your hands grabbing at his biceps and shoulders before threading through his messy curls.
"You're so fucking sensitive, Princess."
You definitely were for him. Because he knew how to touch you. He knew how to love you. He was good at all of it.
"Bradley?" you gasped after he had worked your nipples into tender peaks. He whispered your name, the bristles of his mustache rubbing you just right. You were clenching around nothing. He hadn't even undressed you yet. And now you were in trouble, because he could tell how far gone you were as he whispered your name over and over again.
You rubbed yourself up against his cock as he pressed his lips to your ear and moaned, "I love you, Princess. I love you."
There was little doubt in your mind that you could cum for him just like this. He loved you. And you loved him.
You were soaking wet as he slipped his hand inside your underwear and groaned. "You make me insane," he informed you gruffly, wasting no time before slipping his middle finger inside you.
"Bradley!" you cried as he stroked your clit with his thumb and fucked you with one, thick digit until you were propping yourself up on your elbows to get to his lips. You kissed him, and he devoured every noise you made. "I'm so close, Daddy." When you let your head tip back, his mouth found your breasts again. You were close to overstimulation as he removed his finger from inside you and rubbed his fingertips across your clit until you were nearly crying.
It took you a second to realize that your legs were shaking as he sucked on your breasts. You were about to cum as soft grunts mixed with your deep, erratic breathing. "Oh," you gasped, and then he was mashing his lips to yours, pushing you back against the pillow. "I'm coming," you whined into his mouth.
Then you were shaking everywhere, his fingers slowing down and applying less pressure until you moaned his name so loudly, you should have been embarrassed. Your panties were absolutely soaked, and it felt like you were laying in a puddle as Bradley tapped your clit with his fingertips.
When you met his eyes and saw the desire there, you knew what had happened. "Did I squirt again?" you asked softly as you caught your breath. Bradley brought his damp hand up to his own mouth and licked his palm before running his index finger along your lips.
"You did," he whispered, letting you kitten lick his fingers. You tasted good on his warm skin, and you were no longer embarrassed. Because he looked so turned on right now. You could see his cock straining against the fabric of his underwear, could feel him pulsing against you. When you sucked two of his fingers into your mouth, he started bucking against you, and you looked up at him.
"Don't look at me like that," he rasped, pushing them a little further into your mouth. "You already know you own me."
You moaned around his fingers before he pulled them free and kissed you. Then his sweatshirt was on the floor along with your soaking wet underwear. You watched the graceful way he removed his own underwear as you sat up.
"Come here," you commanded, and he did as he was told, kissing you and wrapping his arms around you. You told him where to touch you, and he did. You told him everything you wanted, and he did that too. You were already a mess again as his thigh rubbed your core. Already whimpering his name.
"You gonna let me make love to you, Princess?" he asked, spreading your legs a little wider and coaxing you flat on your back.
"Yes," you whispered when you felt him at your entrance.
"A little louder," he said, pressing against you with delicious pressure.
"Yes!"
He was steady and meticulous, sure that you liked everything he was doing before he went a little harder. He checked in with you until you could barely answer him, because everything felt too good. Your fingers were digging into his biceps as your lips skimmed along his neck, licking at the salty sheen on his skin. He was chanting your name like a prayer as he moved with such precision, you weren't sure you'd ever be able to orgasm without him again.
Bradley was loving your body with his. He chased your lips for more kisses every time you needed to take a breath. His rough hands were so sure of what you needed as he touched you seemingly everywhere. And interspersed among the sweet sound of your name, he told you he loved you. He used his voice like a tool in tandem with his perfect body until you were squeezing his cock tight.
You felt wrung out and exhausted, barely able to control yourself as your fingers went loose on his arms. You sunk back in the bed, keening for him as your orgasm washed over and through you. And then you watched him, neck straining as his strokes grew shorter and more irregular. You pulled his mouth to yours as he came for you. He tasted so good as he let his hand gently grip the back of your neck, his thumb stroking your jaw.
"I love you," he breathed against your lips. His voice sounded as broken as you felt as he collapsed mostly on top of you. You held him close with your hands in his hair, and his cock still buried inside you.
"I love you, Daddy."
---------------------------
Bradley smiled the whole time you and he argued about doing laundry. You were adamant that he wash your underwear along with the bedding, but he kept telling you he liked the way they looked on his bedroom floor too much to do that.
Finally you scooped them up and said, "I'm sure if you really want to, we can soak them again," and then took them and his bedding into your arms. "It's not like you don't know how to make me squirt."
Then he watched you parade out of his room, your naked backside swaying beautifully as you went. He just stood there and exhaled as he ran his hands through his hair. He was certain he had the dumbest look on his face.
You loved him.
"Good thing I like cold French toast," you said with a laugh as he sat down completely naked on one of the kitchen chairs. You were also naked, plating some breakfast which was definitely becoming lunch.
"I like anything you cook," he mumbled, eyes glued to every inch of your body as you turned and set down a plate in front of him along with maple syrup and two glasses of orange juice. "Mind grabbing my phone?" he asked, watching as you picked it up from where he discarded it earlier.
"Here you go, old man," you said quite loudly. "Can you hear me? Do you remember your pass codes? Or do you need a refresher?"
"You know, I have a bag of Skittles for you, but I think I'll just eat all of them," he said, pulling you down onto his lap and opening up a playlist on his phone.
"You would never," you gasped. Bradley was laughing, but you actually seemed scandalized.
"No, I wouldn't," he promised, kissing your shoulder as you settled back against him. He played his favorite song, the one that reminded him of you while you cut up the French toast and drenched it in syrup.
Bradley watched you lick some syrup from your fingertip as you said, "I made a playlist for Noah. A bunch of kid friendly songs. He loved it." You took a bite of food and turned to smile at him while you chewed.
"That was sweet of you," he rasped as you fed him a bite. "He's crazy about you." Bradley thought back to Noah crying and saying he wanted you to be his mommy.
"I love him," you said simply, taking another bite of French toast while Bradley wrapped his hands around your waist and caressed your soft skin.
And it didn't take long until the food was eaten and you were straddling his lap on the chair. You were cradling his hard cock against your pussy while you kissed his neck and dragged your purple fingernails down his chest and along his abs.
"Feels good," he groaned, trying to sit still and enjoy everything you were doing to him. You looked gorgeous everywhere. Every tilt of your head and brush of your lips against his skin had all of his senses screaming for more. When you finally lifted your hips up and let him slip inside you, he was so far gone. You rode him so well with your arms around his neck and your fingers trailing through his hair.
"Oh," you gasped, eyes fluttering closed as you rubbed your clit against his abs.
"You're so good, Baby," he promised, one hand guiding your hip and the other tracing your nipples. You were a dream. Everything he wanted. Perfect for him. Perfect for Noah.
You leaned closer and kissed his lips, getting louder with each stroke of your clit against him. And soon you were whining his name and pulling his hair. He filled you with his cum that dripped all over the chair and coated your thighs when you stood.
He just looked at you there, standing between his splayed thighs with your hands on his shoulders. "I never want to stop being with you," he mumbled, and you leaned down to kiss him.
------------------------
You were a little embarrassed to admit to Bradley that when you got out of the shower, you wanted to take an afternoon nap. After you spent a few minutes picking on him for being old and drinking fiber in his tea with lunch, you yawned so long and loud that he led you to the living room. You were in his soft UVA sweatshirt again, and you stretched out on the couch with your head on his lap.
The last few days had been wild. You vowed that you were never going to speak to Greyson or his friends again. No more college boys in any way, shape or form. Nobody but Bradley.
He was currently drawing tiny circles along your neck with his fingertips. You yawned again before you whispered, "You know, I probably shouldn't even be here right now."
He just hummed in response, so you asked, "Where are things at with Meredith? Still scheduled for Wednesday?"
But Bradley was silent for a moment before he said, "I don't want you to have to worry about her. I'm doing enough worrying for all three of us. But yes, Wednesday. Unless Tracy calls and tells me otherwise."
"I'm still going to worry, Daddy. But I'm also going to support you. Noah needs to be with you. He needs his dad who took care of him and loves him. He needs to stay with you."
But those little circles on your neck and his rough fingertips had you drifting off to sleep, and you sensed that was what he wanted. He seemed reluctant to let you be consumed by this. So you slept for a few hours on his warm thigh, only stirring when you really needed to go to the bathroom. He hadn't moved at all, but his hand was resting on your bare hip, and he was watching sports highlights on mute on the TV with the captions turned on.
"Baby," he murmured when you popped your head up and turned to look at him. So handsome. You climbed onto his lap and rested your head against his shoulder. He kissed your forehead and told you, "Penny's bringing Noah back in about an hour."
Your heart soared. That would give you enough time to cook something for him for dinner, and then you could play with him a bit before his bedtime. Before you had to leave. And then your heart sank, because you didn't want to go home. And you didn't want to see Penny. You were still so upset about what happened when Bradley got blindsided by Helen.
"I'll be back," you whispered, standing and heading for the bathroom. You took a few minutes to yourself. There was too much going on. And you thought that if you could sort everything out without Bradley distracting you with his hands and his lips you could make more sense of things.
You wanted to be here when Penny dropped Noah off. You didn't want to hide what was going on. You wanted to stay and have dinner with your boys. You deserved that much.
You wanted to help Bradley with Meredith. If there was some way you could aid in court or help him prepare, you wanted to do that. He deserved that much. And Noah deserved everything.
You sighed and washed your hands, and when you opened the door, Bradley was standing there. "I just remade the bed, and I'd love to spend some time snuggling with you."
You went with him and curled up against his huge body. He held you close and asked, "When is your graduation? I need to make sure Noah and I can be there."
The first thing that popped into your mind was the scary thought that maybe Bradley wouldn't be the one making plans for his son much longer, but you squashed it immediately. "I'll add it to your phone calendar since I assume you're too old to figure out how to do that," you replied, kissing the tip of his nose.
He smirked and squeezed your butt so that you were smiling. "I appreciate that, distressingly young girlfriend."
You gasped. "Is that what I am? I thought you said no titles."
"You're my girlfriend," he said with a nod. "Just deal with it, okay? It's been only you for a while now. Your crown lives on my bedpost. I haven't had any other partners. Noah and I are in love with you. You're my girlfriend. My Princess."
You couldn't stop the smile from taking over your face. "Technically I'm Noah's Princess, too."
He sighed and studied your face. "I'm hoping you'll be more than that someday. Now let me put some real clothing on before Penny gets here." With a kiss to your cheek, Bradley grunted and climbed out of bed. You watched his body as he pulled on a US Navy tee shirt and a pair of gray sweatpants.
"Okay, what are you doing?" you asked, crawling across the bed toward him.
He gave you a funny look. "Getting...dressed?"
"No." You pulled him closer by the drawstring on his pants. "As your girlfriend, I'm telling you that you can't wear gray sweatpants around anyone except me. Or like maybe your doctor or something. Because even with underwear, I can see the outline of your dick. It's delicious looking, but no, Daddy."
He blushed. He actually blushed. And you smirked as he yanked them back off again and tossed them at your face. "You wear them, then." You laughed as he pulled on some jeans, complaining the entire time. Then you got out of bed and stepped into his sweatpants. You were sure you looked ridiculous in his too large sweatpants and sweatshirt, but you had nothing else to wear, so you rolled the pants at the waist.
And then the doorbell rang. And now you actually weren't sure that Bradley would want Penny to see you here. You were about to ask him if that was the case, but he took you by the hand.
"Noah is going to be so excited that I didn't completely fuck things up with you." He pulled you down the hallway and toward the front door, and before you knew it, Noah and Penny were right in front of you. When he saw you, his face lit up, and he started trying to wiggle out of Penny's arms.
"Princess!"
You scooped him up as Penny laughed and handed Bradley a bag. "Here's some artwork that we made today. Plus some dirty laundry. We had so much fun making macaroni art with Amelia."
She smiled at you. She didn't look surprised to see you at all as you hugged Noah and kissed his round cheek.
"Thanks, Pen," Bradley mumbled, digging through the bag.
"No need to thank me," she replied, wringing her hands nervously now. "I owe you an apology." She was talking to you. Your eyes went a little wide. "I didn't know the two of you were together. If I had known, I would have never tried to set Bradley up. I really shouldn't have done it anyway," she added softly.
You turned to look up at Bradley. "You told her about us?"
"Yes," he replied, slipping his arm around your shoulders and kissing his son on the head. "Of course I did."
"I should have known, honestly," Penny said, looking at Bradley with a smile. "By the way he said he wasn't using the dating app. And how he seemed calmer. More grounded."
Your cheeks felt warm as you pressed your lips together. "Do you want to stay for dinner?" you asked. "I'm making spaghetti."
"Spaghetti!" Noah cheered, but Penny shook her head. "I need to pick Amelia up from her friend's house. But thank you." And then she was kissing Bradley's cheek and closing the door as she left.
You were alone with your boys. This was all you'd been dreaming about recently. Noah's arms were around your neck, and Bradley was guiding you toward the kitchen, and you had tears in your eyes.
"I love you," Noah whispered, and then you started crying.
"I love you, too, sweet Noah."
---------------------------
Bradley watched you tuck Noah into bed. You looked so good in his clothing and in his house. You looked perfect when you were with his son. He needed this to be his everyday life.
You joined him in the hallway and whispered, "I'll get an Uber to take me home if you don't mind me borrowing your clothes."
"Stay," he replied softly. "Please, stay."
You bit your lip and started to slowly shake your head. "Tomorrow is Monday. You have work. I should go to campus and start on my job applications and final few assignments."
"You can do that from here. Use my computer. Please, stay."
You hummed softly. He would be more than happy to beg you not to leave, but you took him by the hand and kissed his wrist. "Okay. I'll stay. Leave me your computer and charger."
Then you turned toward his bedroom, pulling his sweatshirt over your head as you went. "Are you coming?" you asked him over your shoulder. He could see the silhouette of your peaked nipple in the dimly lit space, and he tripped along after you.
"I'm coming, Baby," he rasped, and your soft giggle as you climbed into his bed had him reaching for you. The room was dark, and his eyes hadn't adjusted yet, but your voice alone was making him hard.
"Come get me, Daddy."
He grunted and slipped his hand down the front of the sweatpants, and you gasped. He took his time. He made sure you were reacting just the way he wanted you to. And when he had you close, he asked, "Does anyone else make you feel as good as Daddy does?"
Your moan was so loud in the silent house that he had to cover your mouth with his. "No," you panted. "No."
Then he flipped you over onto your knees and yanked the sweatpants down. "Good girl," he whispered, burying his face in your pussy from behind.
"Daddy," you whined, and Bradley had to push your face down to the pillow to keep you quiet. With your ass in the air, he finished you off as you gushed a bit for him.
"Fucking hell," he growled as he lapped at your pussy and unzipped his jeans, pulling himself free. With one clean movement, he was buried deep, bottoming out inside you. "Soaking wet." His face was tipped back, staring at the ceiling, trying to keep his composure.
"Daddy!" you whined, bumping back against him harder, and that was it.
"Not too loud, Baby," he warned, wrapping one hand over your mouth and planting one hand on the bed. He pressed himself against your back and whispered in your ear, "You want Daddy to be sweet or rough?"
"Rough," you whimpered against his fingers before he shoved them in your mouth and slammed into you until he was seeing stars. You were a whimpering mess as Bradley filled you over and over again, and then he came so hard, he was afraid he was going to hurt you. But you seemed fine as he collapsed on top of your back.
"You okay?" he asked, panting like he'd just run five miles.
"Yes," you gasped softly. "So good."
"Will you let me fuck you like a sweet princess tomorrow?"
You moaned softly. "Whenever you want."
He kissed along your neck and grunted. "Daddy needs a good night's sleep, Baby. Tomorrow."
And not ten minutes later, Bradley was sound asleep as you ran your fingers along his chest and told him you loved him. He never wanted you to leave.
-------------------------
Bradley is always in a much better headspace when he's with his little family. Don't worry, Meredith is on deck! Hope you enjoy your fic, @beyondthesefourwalls And thank you @mak-32 !

hi lovely can i get a carmy x college reader where she comes to his for dinner when the dining hall food is bad 🥹🫶🏻
YES YOU CAN
he's grumbling, pouring over his notebook with a cigarette dangling from his lips. he can't get this one recipe right and it's pissing him the fuck off. he's so pissed, in fact, that he doesn't even hear the door unlock. he ends up throwing the notebook across the room, burying the heels of his palms in his eyesockets. suddenly, you feel really bad about coming here to bother him, trying to sneak back out.
"what're you doin' here, sugar?" he asks.
"was just leaving, i didn't wanna bother you." he sighs deeply, standing up from the floor. he walks over to you, taking your hands in his.
"what's going on?" you blink a few times, thinking about how stupid your disruption really is.
"the dining hall food is bad and i haven't really been eating much. came over here cause i was hungry and-"
"you wanted me to cook for ya, sugar?"
"yeah," you frown, "but you don't have to. you're stressed."
"and my girlfriend's hungry," he says, kissing your forehead. he squeezes your hands gently before pulling you into a hug, "what can i make for you?" as you think, he scoops you up and plops you on the counter, standing between your legs. he brushes your hair out of your face, smiling at you. the stress lines seem to melt away from his face the longer he looks at you.
“make me whatever you feel like making,” you say, smiling at him, “long as it’s warm, i don’t care, it’ll be yummy.”
“bear secret menu item?” you giggle at his words.
“you’re just saying that so you don’t have to admit to stealing syd’s ideas.”
“syd can butt the fuck out of my relationship.” he starts taking some ingredients out.
“nothing too elaborate, carm, just messy and warm.”
“are you hungry now or can you wait?”
“i can wait. i brought my bag, i’ve got some reading to do.” he nods. you slip off of the counter, grabbing your book and notes out of your bag while he starts to cook. the smells enter your nose while you study, and your stomach grumbles loudly.
“when was the last time you ate?”
“good food?” he laughs.
“any food, sugar.”
“i had… a cereal bar this morning.”
“that’s all?” you nod. he sighs.
“how about i make you dinner, and then get some stuff ready for leftovers?”
“please?” he laughs softly.
“‘course, princess.” he starts to chop up some veggies as you pull out your books and laptop. immediately, the stress of school comes back, and you find yourself rubbing at your forehead already. as you;’re getting into the nitty gritty of your notes from your lecture earlier today, you see a glass of wine get dropped off at the table.
“gotta relax more, sugar. all that stress is gonna take a toll on you.” you smile up at him, swirling the wine in your glass before taking a sip.
“you don’t like this one.” you say as he takes a sip as well, “you hate pinot.” he shrugs.
“pairs well with the food.”
“no it doesn’t.”
“no it doesn’t.” he nods, repeating what you said and agreeing. you smile as he turns around, taking a sip of his wine. you can see the sides of his neck tense up, and you imagine the scrunched up look on his face from the taste of the wine.
“carmy-”
“it’s good, yummy.” he says, taking another sip and fighting the sour look on his face.
“i love you.” you laugh. he grumbles and goes back to the kitchen to cook.
soon enough, you’ve got a steaming hot plate of food in front of you, and your laptop gets whisked away.
“eat, and then study if you need to, but you’re not touching this until your stomach is brimming with food. i’ve got seconds.”
“won’t you come eat with me?” you ask, a pout on your face. he tuts.
“yeah yeah.” he refills the wine glasses, his wine looking much darker than yours this go around.
“cab sauv? not the best pairing.”
“better than fucking pinot.”

Ellie who was awkwardly checking her phone when she first met Abby. Her fingers nervously tapping random stuff on her notes app, on the calculator, sending desperate messages to anyone just to avoid small talk.
there's this blonde girl I'm probably gonna be roommate with she's massive lol
Abby who would glance at Ellie here and there just to make sure the girl was keeping up with the whole tour and to get any sign that could let her know if she was actually interested in the whole roommate thing.
"The girl that came to see the place is a nerd, she's being all awkward and not talking at all. She's also wearing those black converse everyone likes for no reason."
"abs u listen to classical music to study stfu"
Abby who had to speak to Ellie first and directly ask if she was interested or not. And Ellie who struggled to talk but eventually managed to make the deal with Abby.
"Ellie, right?" the freckled cheeks hadn't been that red in a while. Not that she got scared or anything, she just felt extremely panicked thinking the blonde girl in front of her was about to start small talk- plus, she caught her off guard. "So, what do you think?" Abby crossed her arms, an habit- just there she realized how annoyed she looked. She wasn't, of course, but how could the auburn tell?
Abby, who Inmediatelly put the rules. No eating in the couch unless you have visits, and if so, you clean. No noise after 10 pm and no visits without warning nor after 10 pm either. You wash your dishes, you cook your food. bla bla. bla
"Hey so... uhm" Ellie's hands felt sweaty, her fingers fidgeted with each other as she let herself rest comfortably against the doorframe of Abby's room, who looked attentive.
The blonde's arms and legs crossed as she rested against her chair, seemingly frustrated by some stuff she was working on in her desk. "My... uh, I'm bringing someone? I was wondering- it's Friday, maybe I-"
"Yeah, I dont mind it. Just try to keep it quiet"
Abby who was also the first to break the rules
And there she was, flirting with the girl Ellie had fought so much to gain the smallest attention- "Yeah? is that so? oh... really?" currently one am and whatever stress she'd gathered along the week long forgotten.
Ellie who eventually put her own rules. And who got humbled every time because she didn't really care so Abby was the one reminding her about it.
"Why don't you just take mine?" the auburnette spoke with her mouth full, her phone in one hand and her bowl of cereal in the other as she watched the blonde walk all over the small kitchen.
Abby had been around five minutes trying to find a clean tupper of her own, almost having a crisis because oh she was one long minute late already. "You told me not to touch your stuff"
Abby who's super cool to Ellie's eyes, and Ellie who brags about her very cool roommate who's also very smart and strong and nice and sweet and nerdy and many cute stuff.
"didn't you say you wanted to find other place last week?"
"shut up jesse, she just- she was so annoying that day, okay? we are good now"
"we? bro she doesn't even talk to you"
Abby who made it feel illegal to even walk pass her room if her door was open? she was so strict over privacy matters. And Ellie who couldn't care less, taking any chance she had to glance at the room.
"You don't like star wars? what's with the poster then-" and only there, with Abby's look and the awkward silence, Ellie realized she had just fucked the little chance she had to get along with the blonde.
Abby, who eventually stopped caring so much about privacy matters and rules, it was practically impossible. Ellie was charming in her own way, and Abby wasn't so serious after all.
"The movie was lame" the auburnette spoke with her mouth full of a mix of chocolate and whatever else. Abby’s fingers stopped their track between the blonde locks being unbraided- her face into a frown as she met Ellie’s eyes. "You don't like anything! it's the fifth-" Their voices overlapped, Ellie denying whatever statement the blonde was trying to explain or prove. "You choose the next one and better keep quiet-" and again, shouting and anxious eating from Ellie who couldn't feel more comfortable suddenly.

Princess Leia Situation- Peter Parker
A/n: I always wanted to write this one, since i watched Friends for the first time. I hope you guys enjoy!
Warnings: Sexual but not a smut; Cursing; Awkwardness
Summary: Y/n tries out a sexy costume for Valentines day, but it goes wrong
Don’t forget to share, like, comment and leave your ideas here
Bellah’s Masterlist 🪻
Peter's bedroom door was closed, as he needed privacy at that moment. Peter's mouth descended slowly between wet kisses and hickeys on his girlfriend Y/n's neck, while the girl guided his head down her sensitive body with her hand. The girl could feel the slight pressure between her legs, and her boyfriend's heart beating hard against her chest.
The sexual air was very palpable, but lately Y/n seemed to be preoccupied with routine sex. Apart from the fact that it had already been an argument with her boyfriend, the girl had been searching every day for ways to improve their sexual relationship, but no idea seemed to be enough.
They had tried positions like 69 or a tantric massage, but nothing seemed to please Peter very much. Since they had started having sex in their third month of dating, he had always tried to show off his skills or introduce different objects to stimulate his girlfriend better. The brunette wasn't hard in bed, but he liked to learn more about his tastes every day by trying different things on his own or with Y/n.  St. Valentine's Day was approaching, as was the anticipation of a fuck he would never forget.
"'Babe?" Peter caught the eye of his girlfriend, who seemed to have lost her way.
"Hmm?" Y/n focuses her eyes on Peter, who looks at her with a slight smile.
"What were you thinking?" The boy uses one of his fingers to tuck a lock of hair behind her ear, then kisses her.
"Just about your Valentine's Day present. I want our night to be perfect."
"My darling." Peter looks at her lovingly. "Don't worry about it. It's already going to be perfect because it's you, so whatever you have planned, don't put so much pressure on yourself."
"I know." The girl let all the air out of her chest as she replied, still staring at the image of her boyfriend with a white blouse clinging to his muscles.
Fuck, he was so damn hot
"Sorry to break the mood. Can we go back?" The girl asks, receiving a silent affirmation in response.
Peter melted into Y/n's lips once again, bringing one of his hands up to the girl's exposed thighs and squeezing. His fingers were dangerously close to her crotch, causing a sly moan to be uttered. Y/n's body seemed to vibrate at her boyfriend's touch, making her raise her waist in search of the intimate touch she so desperately needed.
"I'll take care of you, love." The brunette slid his fingers between the girl's legs, letting all her worries go to waste when he found that perfect spot.
(...)
Valentine's Day, and she still hadn't thought of what to do.
It seemed like everyone on earth had an idea for later, but she hadn't planned anything much, since Peter was going to cook for her in his apartment. Y/n woke up mentally yelling at herself, because as well as being in finals week, she hadn't liked the present she'd bought for her boyfriend. The white bag on her desk in front of the window was a reminder.
I shouldn't have bought a Grogu mug, Y/n thinks.
The silence in her house was customary, but she realized that she had woken up two hours before her lesson, giving her time to watch television and eat cereal like a child watching a cartoon. The girl in the pink sweater and slippers got out of bed, headed for the kitchen to prepare her cereal and watch Friends, as she did almost every day. Letting the streaming channel choose a random episode, she ran to the cutlery drawer to get a spoon, and finally settled down between pillows and a warm blanket.
At the end of the episode, and the cereal, his brain exploded with the best idea he could have come up with. With an optimistic smile, Y/n kissed the television and laughed.
"Rachel Green, you're a genius. I love you" The girl in pajamas says to the screen, and runs to her room to change.
Later that day, in the apartment left by May so that Peter and Y/n could spend the night alone, the girl was tapping her feet frantically. The spaghetti bolognese seemed to go down her throat like water, not even giving her time to chew it properly. The lights were off, with only a few candles that smelled of pine cones. Peter, with a worried frown, asked:
"Are you in a hurry?" The brunette laughs to himself, and can hear Y/n's heart beating faster when she is asked.
Y/n brings her eyes up to his, staring at him with her mouth smeared with red sauce. The girl silently denies it, letting out a laugh covered by a napkin. Peter leans against the table, reaching out with the napkin to wipe the rest of the sauce off his girlfriend. The girl smiles, looking down at her black-heeled feet and long-sleeved burgundy tube dress.
"You look beautiful today, you know that?" Parker compliments her.
The girl lets out a nervous laugh, looking down at her handbag on the kitchen worktop.
Oh, fuck me
"You look wonderful as always." Y/n returned the compliment to her boyfriend, who was wearing a black polo shirt.
The student picked up the glass of white wine in front of them, raising it with the intention of making a toast. Coughing dryly, Y/n copied his boyfriend's action, smiling forcedly at him. Parker had never been much of a drinker, but he couldn't deny that wine always helped him calm down before sex, or even put him in the mood when he wasn't.
"Here's to us. May we spend every future Valentine's Day together from now on." The brunette said, causing a shy smile from his girlfriend, who still had her legs flapping under the table.
"To us" The girl clinked glasses, then drank the wine in one swallow.
"Shall we go and exchange gifts?" Peter stood up, picking up the two empty glasses and empty plates from the table covered in a gray cloth with gold details.
There was no escape
"Umm, of course! That's it, let's get to the presents. Of course" The girl straightens her babylissed locks and puts them to one side.
Peter sits down in front of her at the table once again, but now with a small black and white bag with a red handle. As much as he would have liked to hide the brand of the bag, any woman could recognize that it was from Sephora.
"I snooped through your Sephora bag, but you had more than 100 items curated and I still haven't been promoted to work in another area with Stark." Y/n laughs. "So, I preferred to give you this" Peter hands the bag to his girlfriend, watching her expectantly as she opens it.
"Peter! I really loved it." Y/n smiles as she finds a highlighter and a Fenty gloss. The girl stood up, walked over to her boyfriend and hugged him.
"Well, yours..." Y/n looked once more at the bag that held the mug. "It's not here right now." Y/n tries to explain.
"You can give it to me later, love. No problem." Peter nods.
"No! It's not that, I need you to wait in your room, so I can give you the present."
Peter makes a curious face, but not for a million years would he turn down a sexual offer as a Valentine's Day present.
"All right" The brunette heads for his room, closing the door and waiting for the gift his girlfriend has prepared.
Shit! Fuck!" Y/n looked in her other bag for the mysterious gift she had rented from the costume store the afternoon after her last lesson. Stumbling over her own heels, the girl locked herself in the bathroom at the end of the corridor, cursing herself for coming up with such a miraculous idea at the last minute.
Her hands tried to add a bun to her hair, securing it with bobby pins that fell to the floor because of the cramped room.
"Shit!" Y/n curses as she loses the clips on the floor, then bangs her head against the sink.
The gold bikini seemed small in relation to her breasts, so she tried to make them fit without them slipping out of the factory. Her hands tried to make them fit, but every now and then, the knot on her back came undone, or one of her breasts slid to the side. When she looked in the mirror, her hair still didn't look the way it needed to. The side bun looked more like a bird's nest than a space bun. Groaning in discontent, Y/n grabbed her cell phone from the closed toilet and tried to do another type of hair that wouldn't cost her soul to make it perfect.
Peter, on the other hand, was undressed on his single bed, trying to find some position to receive his girlfriend. He didn't want to look like a sexy fireman on a calendar cover, but he didn't know where to put his hands, or even if he was going to cover himself with the rumpled sheet on his bed.
A few minutes later, he was distracted by his cell phone, which was vibrating with Twitter notifications. As long as Y/n was taking, his lack of concentration meant that 15 minutes passed too quickly. Lying on his stomach with a pillow on his chest, the brunette commented on posts and was distracted by memes that appeared on his timeline every five minutes he slid further from the beginning.
"Peter?" Y/n's voice called his name, causing the boy to drop his cell phone and leave the shooting game he was playing on his cell phone.
"Yes?" The brunette lay down on the bed, covering most of his body as if he were already ready for bed, and switched off the main light in the room so that his lamp would be the only source of light in the room filled with posters and books.
Peter's bedroom door slowly opened, revealing his girlfriend's body in the most iconic Star Wars bikini. His girlfriend's breasts were perfectly embraced by the golden part of the bikini, while her waist was covered only by a long red skirt with golden details at the top. Her hair was in a messy braid, but nothing really said how Y/n looked. Even though many of the details were poorly finished, and especially the top was too small for her breasts, Peter looked at her as if she were too perfect for him. The boy cracked a slow smile, and his eyes seemed to pop out of his face with every step closer to his girlfriend.
"Y/n" Peter said, processing the surprise his girlfriend had given him. And without even realizing the movement of his body, one of his hands went to his mouth in an expression of surprise.
He hated it
Oh my God
He hated it or he thinks I'm pathetic
"I know! I know, it was a stupid idea, I'm sorry." The girl closes her eyes in frustration and shame. "I bought you a grogru mug, but I wanted to do something better because you always make everything for me so perfect, and I know how much you like Star Wars and I thought it would be cool to do the same as Rachel did in Friends and" The girl is cut off by a quick kiss.
"I don't have the hots for Princess Leia, but you look stunning." Peter holds both of the girl's hands, looking her up and down.
"Really?"
" Yes." Peter smiles. "And by the way, I broke my favorite mug last night. I really needed another one." The brunette smiles, which is answered by a loose laugh from his girlfriend.
"Aren't I an idiot?" The girl shrugged, looking at herself once again.
"Not at all." Peter replied, using his index finger to lift the chin of the girl, who watched him with innocent eyes. "Are you going to let me put my lightsaber on you now?"
"PETER!"

Lake Secrets - Jude Bellingham
Chapter 2: You Can Trust Me
Tumblr media
Summary: Grace Alexander Arnold, an architecture student, looks forward to a quiet summer at her brother Trent's lake villa. Her plans change when Trent's best friend, Jude Bellingham, arrives with his family. As Grace and Jude spend more time together, a secret romance begins to grow. Amidst the peaceful lake and family gatherings, will their hidden feelings last, or will they fade away with the summer? Word Count: 3.3k
Warnings: fluff, emotional moment, anxiety
Note: The story will develop more in this chapter, they will share intimate moments
Tumblr media
“Come on, Jude, that was way too far!” Trent complained as he swam toward the ball, which had splashed down several yards away. The sun was high in the sky, casting a golden glow over the lake.
“Sorry, my bad!” I called back, laughing. Jobe splashed water at me playfully, shaking his head.
“You always go overboard, bro,” Jobe said with a grin. “Literally.”
Everyone else was sitting near the shore, either deep in conversation or doing their own thing. Diane and my mom were chatting under a large umbrella, while Trent’s dad was stretched out on a lounge chair, soaking up the sun.
Grace was sitting on a towel, a book in her hands. Every so often, she would look up, watching us play. Her gaze lingered, and it was clear she was admiring the sight of us having fun in the water. She looked like she wanted to join in but was holding back.
She was wearing a white short dress with straps that stood on her forearms, revealing her bare shoulders. She always made sure to pull the strap up on her left shoulder as if to cover something. We would sometimes make eye contact and smile. Anytime I said something funny, I felt the need to look for her approval, which I got every time.
"Hey, Grace. Why don't you join us?" Jobe, my brother, called out. Her smile slowly turned into a worried expression, and she sat up from laying on her stomach.
"I'm good, Jobe. I don't feel like swimming today!"
"She's not into this, mate," Trent quickly spoke for her. I couldn't help but wonder if there might be something more to this, but I decided to let it go.
I also wanted to take a break. We'd been in the water for almost an hour, and I was hungry. Diane and Grace had prepared some delicious snacks that morning in the kitchen: cookies, mini sandwiches, and a variety of other treats. I had watched Grace make them while I ate a late breakfast of cereal at the dining table next to the kitchen. She looked effortlessly pretty while cooking, even in casual clothes and with her hair in a simple braid. Her face was slightly puffy from sleep, her skin clear and fresh. I couldn't help but think how lovely it would be to wake up and see her first thing in the morning. She seemed like the kind of girl who would understand you, truly get your inner self, and make life easier by being the best partner. She didn’t come across as complicated to deal with, yet she still held an air of mystery.
"Alright, how about we take a break to eat?" Trent said, as if reading my thoughts.
We all nodded and got out of the water. Diane handed each of us a towel and put the food basket in front of us where we sat. I munched on the mini sandwiches Grace had prepared, trying to catch a glimpse of her without making it obvious.
"Sweetie, do you want something too?" my mom asked Grace, making her look up from her book. She nodded and placed the book aside, moving to sit between me and Trent.
She grabbed a sandwich and started eating. Jobe was making everyone laugh, and her attempts to laugh without spitting out her food were very cute. Eventually, everyone gathered around to eat until there was no food left.
As dusk approached, our parents decided to call it a day, leaving only me, Jobe, Trent, and Grace by the lake. They gathered everything and took the short walk back to the villa, leaving us with some towels and our clothes. "How about we take another swim before leaving?" Jobe asked, winking at me. I couldn’t quite understand what he was hinting at.
"Sure, bro. Let's do it!" Trent agreed, and we all stood up, except for Grace. She remained seated, avoiding our looks. "Wanna make a run for it?" Trent looked at me, and I laughed and nodded in response. Jobe held back as we made a run for it, but then I heard a scream from behind me, causing Trent and me to halt and spin around. Grace was screaming, and Jobe was carrying her towards the water, trying to make a joke of it.
"Please, Jobe! Put me down! I don't want to go into the water!" Grace continued to scream, kicking as Jobe neared the water's edge. There was a raw edge of panic in her voice, verging on tears.
"No, Jobe, stop!" Trent yelled, sprinting towards them, clearly alarmed.
Jobe sensed the seriousness of the situation and stopped, slowly setting Grace down on her feet. She clutched her chest, blinking rapidly, trying to compose herself and hold back tears.
"I'm sorry, Grace. I didn't mean to scare you," Jobe said, regret plain in his voice.
I approached cautiously, standing behind Trent, who was comforting her with soothing touches on her shoulders. Grace looked distant, trying to regain her composure.
"Hey, Grace. Are you okay?" I asked softly, my concern evident. I wanted nothing more than to hold her close and calm her racing heart.
"Yeah, I'm fine!" Grace quickly replied, her gaze darting between all of us, overwhelmed by the rush of questions. "It's okay! I just panicked because... It was sudden."
Trent wrapped an arm around her shoulders and kissed her temple. "Hey, how about we call it a day, too?" We all nodded and gathered our towels. I kept my concerned gaze on Grace, which she seemed to notice. She flashed a faint smile at me and placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder, letting me know she was alright. I gave her one more questioning look.
"I'm okay!"
"Alright, good," I whispered back to her, feeling a bit awkward, like I was crossing a line between caring and flirting, especially with Trent nearby. We continued walking towards the villa, and Jobe kept apologizing to Grace repeatedly until she finally convinced him she was okay. She seemed chilly in her short dress as she tried to wrap a dirty towel around her shoulders.
"Here," I pulled her aside from the group and draped my zipper hoodie over her shoulders. She hesitated at first but then placed her hands on top of mine, gently squeezing them.
"Thank you, Jude," she said softly, walking beside me while the boys walked ahead. She held the book close to her chest, and my oversized hoodie looked like a dress on her.
"Still hooked on Bukowski, I see?" I asked, smiling at her.
"Yeah, another day, reading the same thing," she replied with a smile, glancing down. I noticed she found it difficult to maintain eye contact with me, even though her green eyes had been the subject of my daydreams since we arrived. I fought the urge to let her know that.
"You have beautiful eyes, you know?" I lost the battle. She seemed taken aback by my comment, continuing to look down but smiling nonetheless. "Thank you!"
"Are you always this shy?"
"Depends on who I'm talking to," she replied, finally meeting my gaze after a moment's pause. "Some people are intimidating." "Am I one of them?" I asked, feeling like I might have put her on the spot, but our conversation was going so well I wanted to keep it going. "Maybe!" she replied with a playful smirk, giving me a thoughtful look that made me laugh.
....
As soon as we reached the house, we took showers and changed into fresh clothes, all gathering on the backyard patio one by one. Grace was the last one to come down. We were all having a glass of wine by the firepit, laughing and talking. I couldn't really make out her figure until she approached fully because of the dark.
Her braids were out, and her hair lay on her shoulders, still wearing my hoodie. She looked comfortable in it, and it suited her better than me. Miraculously, the only empty spot was a bean bag next to me. She approached slowly and smiled at me as the fire illuminated my face.
"Hey," she spoke softly.
"Hey, you feeling better?" I asked, wanting to make sure she was comfortable after the incident at the lake.
She gave me an assuring smile. Our voices drowned in the noise of the others talking, the fire crackling, and lots of laughter. It felt like it was just the two of us. The darkness provided a sort of shield for me to freely look at her.
"Are you enjoying your stay so far?" she asked, keeping our conversation going.
"So far, so good. I really like this place!" I responded. "The house is very nice, and the view is breathtaking."
"It is," she said, either looking at my face or down at her hands while talking. "It will be a nice vacation break for you guys!"
"You said you've been coming here with your family every summer," I recalled her words from the first day. "Do you still find the place exciting?"
She sighed and leaned further into the bean bag. "Uh, yeah! But, the older I get, the more I want to experience other places as well. My dad isn't really a big fan of me traveling alone or staying someplace else... to study alone."
It felt like she was confessing an issue of hers. I wanted her to trust me, to feel comfortable talking to me about anything. I'm sure she doesn't do that very often. "I want to do my major abroad. But my dad wants me 'close' to him." she used air quotes and seemed hurt and defeated remembering her father's words. "Why is that?" "Just a stupid conclusion my dad has." She didn't want to continue the conversation, so I didn't push her any further.
While having a good time with everyone, the fire slowly started to die down. I took a look and saw Grace already asleep on her bean bag. She brought her legs up to her chest, and put her hands all the way inside my hoodie, holding them near her face.
"Guys, I'm calling it a night. I'm really tired," my dad said, and my mother agreed, getting up to leave with him.
"Yeah, it’s been a long day," Trent said, stretching. "I think I’ll turn in too." He followed my parents inside.
Jobe yawned and nodded. "Me too. This vacation life is wearing me out." Trent's mom noticed Grace fast asleep on the bean bag. She approached her slowly, lightly tapping her on the shoulder. "Sweetheart, we're heading to bed. How about you continue your sleep in your room?"
Grace hummed in response, not really registering what her mother was saying. Diane looked at me, and we both smiled at Grace's sleepy state. Diane tried waking her up again, but Grace only opened and closed her eyes a few times, not fully awake.
"Do you want me to take her up to her room, Mrs. Arnold?" I offered, not wanting to disturb her. Diane looked at me gratefully and nodded.
I stood up from my bean bag and carefully scooped Grace into my arms. She naturally nestled her head into the crook of my neck, her hands tucked inside the hoodie's sleeves, close to her chest. She felt like the missing piece of my puzzle, fitting perfectly in my arms.
Once we got inside, I said goodbye to Diane. Her room was on the first floor. She wished me goodnight and entered quietly, trying not to wake her sleeping husband who had called it a night way before us.
I took slow and careful steps on the stairs, fully aware of their creaking. After each step, I glanced at Grace, ensuring she wasn't disturbed. When I reached her bedroom door, I struggled to open it slightly.
Thankfully, her bedside lamp was on for some reason, casting a soft glow and helping me navigate the unfamiliar room. I placed her delicately on the bed. She snuggled her face into the pillow as soon as it touched the soft surface, her eyes slowly fluttering open.
"Thank you..." she managed to say in a raspy, low voice.
"Of course. Have a good night's sleep, Grace," I responded. My inner self urged me to kiss her forehead goodnight. Instead, I gently pulled the bed cover up to her shoulders. That's when I noticed a scar on her left shoulder, where my fallen hoodie exposed her skin. It was on the side she had tried to hide earlier at the lake. I brushed my fingers on it slightly, causing her to shiver. I stood up from the bed and turned off the light next to her, slowly making my way out of the room and into my own. I took off my shirt and shorts and crashed into bed only wearing my boxers. I was a bit tired myself too, but I really wanted to know the history behind that scar. .....
It had been more than a week since we arrived. Our families' bond had grown significantly over these days. Aside from our morning exercises and evening talks, I rarely spent time with Trent alone.
Our mothers were really enjoying the villa, constantly cooking something new and sipping wine on the porch. Our dads engaged in debates over various topics, beers in hand, as they relaxed by the lakeside. And then, there were always the four of us doing things together.
And green is still my favorite color.
My obsession with Grace has grown. The more time we spend together, the more she begins to trust me. Now, she maintains eye contact while we talk. She opens up about her passion for architecture, detailing her studies, her close bond with Trent, and sharing her likes and dislikes. I find myself struggling with the question of whether Grace feels a deeper connection toward me or if she is simply being friendly. It seems more than mere coincidence that we always end up seated next to each other, and that chores are consistently assigned to us as a pair.
She still has my hoodie. The other night, as we both got up for some water, I caught sight of her in the kitchen, wearing my hoodie and shorts. There was a moment of surprise in her eyes when she noticed me. She quickly tried to explain, mentioning how comfortable it was and apologizing, saying she would return it.
Instead of insisting, I simply said, "No, keep it. It looks way better on you."
Her cheeks flushed slightly, a soft smile playing on her lips. It was a spontaneous comment, but one that felt right in the moment. Seeing her wear my hoodie, looking effortlessly comfortable and somehow even more attractive, stirred a warmth in me that I couldn't deny. Let's go for a swim today, lads," Trent interrupted my racing thoughts.
Jobe eagerly agreed, but Grace lowered her gaze and muttered something under her breath. It wasn't the first time she had declined to swim. Despite hanging out with us by the lake, she never ventured into the water.
Sitting together on the patio bean bags, Trent and Jobe moved to prepare for swimming while I stayed behind, drawing closer to Grace, hoping for a moment of privacy.
"Hey, is there a reason you never join us in the lake?" I asked softly.
Her discomfort was palpable, evident in the way she shifted in her seat." It's just not my thing-" she spoke quickly.
"Can you come with us this one time? Please!" I pleaded, hoping to convince her. But as soon as I noticed her beautiful green eyes getting foggy, I knew I shouldn't push her further.
"I'll just stay in my room this time," she said quickly, standing up and leaving before I could say anything else. Her sudden outburst left a lingering sense of concern in the air. .....
We we're back at the dining table in the evening, enjoying another meal after a tiring day at the lake with only us boys. Grace hasn't spoken to me since our last encounter earlier. She quickly munched on something and excused herself sitting at the far end of the backyard near the lake view in the complete dark, with the excuse of wanting to read in peace. Me and the others had a normal routine, had a glass of wine and then went to bed. In my room, I could still see her silhouette by the lake. I decided to go up to her. Everyone was asleep, the only source of light being the moon once again. I tried to make some sound while I approached her from afar, not wanting to scare her. She turned around to look at me, giving me a tired smile and then focused her eyes back at the lake. I sat next to her. Our shoulders brushing. "You know you can trust me, right?" I asked her directly.
"I know," she replied softly, her gaze still fixed on the lake.
"Why are you afraid to swim, Grace?"
She remained silent for a moment, as if weighing whether to open up to me. I reassured her with a gentle touch on her knee.
Her breathing became more audible, and a single tear rolled down her cheek.
"It's just..." Her voice cracked, and she fell silent again.
"It's okay. Take your time. I'm right here for you." I held her hand firmly, feeling it tremble slightly in mine. "You know that scar you saw on my shoulder the other night?" she asked. I nodded at her, but still surprised she could remember that in her sleeping state. "It happened when i was younger while swimming. Do you see that empty looking house right there?" I nodded. " That's where Lily used to live." "Used to?" I became curious of where she's going with this and why was it affecting her so much. "She died. She was my childhood bestfriend." She let out a small sob, i quickly wrapped my arm around her shoulder, providing her some comfort.
"There's an old pier on the other side of the lake, hidden away now. Lily and I used to go there to play. One day, we were climbing around it, and Lily slipped. She grabbed my leg instinctively, pulling me into the water with her. She hit her head on the metal as we fell."
She paused, her eyes distant as she relived the memory.
"Lily suffered a head injury and died instantly." Grace continued, her voice catching. "I had a hurt leg and some scratches, making it hard for me to stay above the water. But I managed to pull her now-red and bloody body from the water and call for help."
Grace looked at me with sad eyes, almost as if seeking closure. I kissed her forehead gently and rubbed her forearm in reassurance, but she still seemed scared and shaky after all these years.
"So you never swam anymore?" I asked softly. She shook her head, her expression pained. "I'm afraid something bad will happen," she murmured.
"I understand," I said, kissing her temple again. I held her like that for a long time, whispering sweet nothings to her. "But what if we try something different?"
I gently took her hand and helped her stand up. Slowly, I guided her towards the water, feeling her resistance as she shook her head vigorously.
"Hey, hey, hey," I murmured soothingly, holding both her hands. "I'm not going to push you or anything, sweetheart. Just relax."
She nodded hesitantly, her gaze locked with mine, her eyes reflecting fear and uncertainty.
"We will stop whenever you want to. Let's just try to put our foot inside the water," I suggested gently.
"No, no. Jude, no please!" Grace's voice was alarmed, filled with fear.
I cupped her face in my hands and gently placed her forehead against mine, holding her close. "You can trust me, Grace." .......... Coming up next:

Married life with Gaolang headcanons
Ft. Gaolang wongsawat x gn! Reader
Sickeningly fluffy
~~~~~
Take note: I'm not a writer, I don't know what I'm doing, I just want gaolang content
Now that that's set aside-
~~~~~
- Married life with Gaolang is probably the easiest part of your relationship with him. No more of your painfully obvious hints bouncing off his dense head, no more questioning whether the feeling you had for him was reciprocated due to his unreadable expression
- Now, Gaolang doesn't expect you to take his surname, but if you refer to yourself as Mr/Mrs Wongsawat, he will feel so fucking smittened with you
- Gaolang's job as Rama's personal bodyguard requires him to leave your shared house early and come back late
- However, that has never stopped him from giving you any less love
- Though it pained him to leave the bed you two shared, he would always wake up early to prepare breakfast for you
- and by breakfast I don't mean cereal with milk
- He can and will make a filling and balanced breakfast for you, with some carbohydrates like rice, pancakes or toast, proteins like eggs or ham, and fibrous foodstuffs like a side salad or a bowl of fruit
- as someone who doesn't usually eat breakfast, this meal looks like a lot, but even if you aren't a breakfast person, Gaolang's handmade meals aren't something you can just pass up
- He WILL make you eat it (usually the smell itself is enough to have you feeling hungry anyways, so it isn't too difficult for him)
- After prepping your breakfast, he would wake you up to eat it before it goes cold
- he also wants you to be awake to see him off while he leaves, but he won't be admitting to that any time soon.
- for his job, Gaolang has to wear a suit and tie, not his preferred choice of clothing, but it was what a bodyguard typically wears
- putting on the outfit was usually one of the more boring parts of his morning, so help him get past this hurdle by putting it on for him!!
- button up his shirt, tie his tie, straighten up his blazer and dust him off while standing him in front of his full length mirror, telling him how good he looked this morning
- and don't forget a goodbye kiss for when he's putting on his shoes to leave the house
- I think gaolang would like you to be a housewife/husband
- it's not that he wants you to give up your dream job or anything like that, no. If you have a job you want to keep, he'd gladly support you in any way he possible could
- it's just that part of him wants to give you a perfect life, comfortable, in which he believes he can provide for you, and indeed he can, which is why he would want you to have the freedom of not needing to work
- However, if you agree to this arrangement of his, you can't just laze around all day and waste away in bed
- Being free all day, you usually do the grocery shopping, cooking lunch and dinner, laundry etc
- basic housekeeping stuff
- gaolang will try his best to help you with it too, but his job is inherently tiring, so treat him well!!!!
- now that I'm done with you two's day to day activities, lets move on to other stuff (HELP IDK WHAT IM DOIN)(ignore me)
- Gaolang would be super conflicted about having kids
- on one hand, he is obsessed with the thought of a child that was a mix of the two of you, like a symbolism of your marriage and love for him or something
- on the other hand, he KNOWS how busy he is, and he understands better than anyone that he can't possibly split his time in a way that would provide for the child the fatherly care they would require
- if you do want a child with him, you're going to have to do a LOT of convincing, begging and pushing because he is STUBBORN
- it mostly stems from his very valid fear of not being able to be a good father, and not wanting an innocent child to have to face the fact that their father can't even be there for them
- most likely you two will not have a kid, but hey, you tried (or didn't)
~~~~~
Yikes I'm all out of ideas
Should I make a prequel to this?? (Dating life with gaolang)
Comfort
Dick Grayson x Reader
Written for my personal fic writing challenge for 2024, Sophie's Year of Fic! Featuring a new fic being posted every Friday, all year long :)
Fandom: DC
Summary: The vigilante couple that takes care of each other after a bad patrol night stays together.
Word Count: 1,173
Category: Fluff, Comfort (after Hurt, but the hurt's not in the fic)
Putting work into an AI program without permission is illegal. You do not have my permission. Do not do it.
I winced as my boyfriend, Dick Grayson, dabbed antiseptic against the cut on my arm. It needed to be done, and I was glad I didn't have to do it myself, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt.
"Sorry," Dick said, his voice soft. I leaned into him.
"It's ok. Thank you for helping."
"You might not want to thank me until we're done stitching this up. I'll do my best to be gentle, but... it probably won't feel great no matter what."
I gave him a weak smile, then let my head drop to rest on his shoulder. He held my injured arm gently in his lap, taking care not to move it more than he had to.
"I think you get the thank you no matter what. Especially since I'd have to try to do this myself if I didn't have you here to help me."
Dick just hummed, and I tried to focus on him and his comforting warmth as he moved to start on the stitches. Being a vigilante was absolutely brutal sometimes, thanks to moments and injuries like this. Especially since we couldn't usually go get treated as our civilian identities, lest it lead to some very awkward questions. But we were doing good, important work, and we were doing it together. Despite the worst days, I wouldn't trade this life for anything, and I knew Dick felt the same.
I focused on taking deep breaths through my nose as Dick worked. I clenched the hand of my non-injured arm, working on keeping the injured one still. Between stitches, Dick muttered comforting words, the tone and timbre of his voice near my ear keeping me as calm as anything else. I lost track of time, zoning out of the moment to focus on breathing and the man beside me.
Finally, Dick let out a sigh and sat back, moving one arm from my wound to around my shoulders. I sighed, leaning further into his chest, finally able to move the arm he'd been working on now that it was all stitched and bandaged.
"You still feeling okay?" he asked, rubbing small circles with his thumb against my good arm. I sighed and nodded.
"As okay as I can feel, considering everything. Thanks again for patching me up."
"You know I'm always happy to take care of you. I'm just sorry you needed it in the first place."
"Eh." I shrugged. "Life of a vigilante."
"Yeah," Dick sighed, sounding a little more melancholy than I'd been expecting. We stayed like that for a few long moments, laying against each other and enjoying the peace after a sketchier-than-usual night of fighting crime.
Finally, Dick sighed again, more as a transition than a lament this time.
"Alright, we both need to eat something, and then get some rest. Anything sound particularly good to you?"
"...I don't know if my heart can take the adventure that is your attempt at cooking on top of the night we've already had."
"I was planning to order in, but it's nice to be reminded that you have no faith at all in my culinary ability."
I just smiled and leaned into him.
"You know I love you, but you also know Jason spilled about the time you managed to burn cereal. I don't think there's a lot of hope for coming back from that, babe."
Dick laughed, pulling me even closer to him, the slightly heavier mood now completely gone.
"I guess that's fair. But one of these days, I'm going to secretly take a cooking class, and then I'll prove you all wrong."
I just hummed. "Take me with you when you do it. A cooking class sounds fun."
Dick chuckled and leaned down to place a soft kiss on my forehead.
"It's a deal. Now come on, let's get you settled in on the couch so we can order something good."
I sighed, but shifted my weight off of Dick. I moved to push myself up to standing, but before I could get very far, Dick shot up next to me and swept me into his arms. I laughed, throwing my arms around his neck in surprise as he carried me towards the living room.
"You're too injured to walk," he said, a grin on his face despite his words. "Doctor's orders, you need to be carried."
"Pretty sure it was just my arm that got really hurt. Some bruises and other injuries on my torso. Legs ended up being pretty okay."
"Mmm, no, I'm pretty sure I'm right."
He set me down on the couch with a flourish, then sat and shifted me around so my legs laid across his lap. He sighed and picked up his phone, taking care of takeout while I got my arm in a comfortable position and stared at the angel of a man that I got to call my boyfriend.
"Alright, food should be here in about twenty minutes," he announced, setting his phone down in triumph. "I vote we watch a movie or something while we wait and eat, then go to bed."
"I have one suggested addition to the plan."
"Yeah?"
"I want to reserve the right for us to change the plan and fall asleep here instead of going to bed."
Dick raised an eyebrow and made a big show of looking me up and down, spending a little extra time evaulating my arm and its position. Then, finally, he met my eyes again.
"You sure your arm's gonna be okay if we stay here?"
I shrugged. "Pretty sure. I've put worse stitching through more strenuous and dangerous activities than a couch nap before."
Dick grinned, his blue eyes sparkling as he wrapped an arm over the top of my thighs and pulled me closer to him.
"I don't know. I've heard couch naps can be pretty perilous."
"As long as neither of us rolls off the thing, I feel pretty good about our chances."
He hummed, pulling me even further onto his lap. "We should probably cuddle pretty closely, then. To keep each other safe from falling off this thing."
"Makes sense to me," I said, grinning and turning to lean into Dick. "Safety precautions are important."
He huffed a laugh, then finally stretched out on the couch alongside me, shifting us both so I was half laying on his chest. I could hear the constant comforting beat of his heart through his shirt, and I swear, my blood pressure instantly dropped.
"What are we gonna do when the food gets here?" I groaned, already halfway asleep. The last of the adrenaline had finally faded now that I was here, happy, comfortable, and safe with my favorite person in the world, and I could feel how quickly I was losing the battle with sleep.
"Don't worry," Dick muttered, gently running his hand up and down my back. "I'lll take care of it. You just get some rest."
I hummed, intending to say something else to him, but the exhaustion rooted into my bones and I couldn't keep myself up. I drifted off on his chest, his arms wrapped tightly around me, perfectly safe and content with the love of my life.
I thought it was really hot when you told anon what to eat the other day 👉👈 gentle whining and beggings that more feedees on here provide "menus" for dumb cows like me to mindlessly follow cause sometimes thinking is soooo haaaard and being told exactly how to indulge makes me feel all fuzzy and stupid 😣❤️❤️
You feel fuzzy and stupid because you are fuzzy and stupid, silly.
You're so welcome - I'm here to help dumb little piggies who have already worn their brains away with too much rubbing and gorging and so can't be trusted with their own decisions.
Here are some other quick and easy meals for butterballs who want to blow up without doing all that exhausting thinking.
🥛 sit down with a whole box of cereal and a carton of milk, and don't get up until you've finished them both - unless it's to grab that second carton of milk, of course.
🥛 A four person serving of pasta makes a great light lunch, just grab a few packets of tortellini and a nice creamy sauce. It'll cook in a few minutes, and you can eat it right out of the pan with a serving spoon like the glutton you are.
🥛 Have a favourite spot for burritos? Order your favourite, with extra everything and the hottest salsas they have - plus an extra large side of chips and three churros, of course. When the burrito gets here, sit yourself down without any water, or even soda. The only thing you can drink to cool the burning is double cream, so start gulping.
🥛 A smoothie is a great snack between meals, and they're even healthy - right? Throw in some nice whole milk (natural), bananas, cream (for protein), mass gainer (it means muscle mass, don't worry), maple syrup, nutella and peanut butter into a blender and chug it down.
Enjoy your meal plan - this should last you until tomorrow at least, and then I can devise a whole new set of gut stretching indulgences easy dinners!
The alarm clock on your bedside table sounded way too loud as it trilled next to your head, groaning as you kept your eyes closed and tried to hit it with your hand before reluctantly opening them, glaring at the thing and scrunching your nose up before hitting the button to turn it off. Mornings were never your thing, but you had to get up early for something important and you knew you would have kicked yourself if you missed it.
Scraping yourself out of bed and padding through your house, you began the day. A breakfast of cereal because you didn't quite trust the new cooker, or your cooking skills, that had been fitted by your landlord a few days before, quick shower and navigating the stacks of boxes you had yet to unpack despite moving in two weeks ago to find where you had put your laundry down. Because of course you still hadn't built your wardrobe yet either, plus you didn't own the tools to make it.
You finally found the pile, thumbing through it until you managed to find a nice pair of jeans, a t-shirt and a plaid shirt to pull on top. You managed to get changed quickly after that and pulled on your black ankle boots, lacing them up quickly before finally heading out the door. Closing and opening it again as you realised you'd forgotten your keys and to brush your hair. The downside to not being a morning person and having to do things.
Grabbing your bike, the journey was pretty short to where you were headed, the heated Utah air making you puff slightly as you cycled, but it was no trouble in the small town since everything was fairly close by.
Parking up your bike, you looked up at the building and smiled, feeling a sense of nervousness coming over you and making your pulse quicken. The face of the smiling, waving bear wearing a hat and bowtie looked down at you with the bold words 'Freddy Fazbear's' in colourful neon, watching as kids excitedly dragged their parents inside to play in the arcade, eat greasy pizza and watch the animatronic shows you knew they had inside.
Not that you had had a chance to go before.
Heading inside, a woman with curly hair and a bright smile greeted families as they came inside the restaurant, the smell of fresh pizza and sickly sweetness washed over you like a little kid's dream. The woman wore a bright red jacket with a little name-tag, and a blouse with a confetti pattern beneath it, black slacks and black shoes stepped out from behind her little podium as she saw you looking slightly in awe and lost at the same time. Still grinning as she tapped you on the shoulder, making you jump slightly.
"Hey there, you look like you're new to Freddy's! Is there anything I can help you find today?" Her voice was chipper, but you smiled as you recognised the friendly tones of a customer service voice. Nodding your head and looking about curiously as you spoke.
"Um.. Sort of? I heard there were some jobs going and I wondered if there were still positions open?" The woman seemed to light up as you asked and nodded, gesturing to a man nearby who wore a similar uniform, plastered with the same customer service smile.
"Garret, can you watch my stand pretty please? It seems like we have a new friend for the Fazbear family!" Watching as the man, or rather that he was closer, spot-faced teenaged boy, nodded after looking you over.
"Sure Stacey, just don't wander off too far, you know how the bosses get when front isn't covered." He didn't seem to have Stacey's enthusiasm for the company, but you allowed the woman to lead you to a door marked as 'employees only' through a sea of hyper-active children, spilt drinks and arcade ticket ribbons that fluttered about like little flags behind excited children.
The robots on stage were singing a song, kids gathered around the stage and making the kids scream in delight each time they moved and blinked. One thing that you hadn't anticipated was how loud the place would be, and stepping through the employee door, you were almost sure you had gone deaf with quiet everything suddenly was.
"They make the doors mostly sound-proof in this back area." Stacey explained, tilting her head back and forth to crack her neck and shoulders dropping as if she had taken a burden off. Turning her head and revealing a slightly pissed looking face which threw you off guard. "Don't worry if I'm not smiling, my face just hurts from being on the front of house. It's great to see all the kids, but fuck will I have better jaw muscles than the football team by the time I'm finished here."
You couldn't help but laugh at her calloused humour, walking besides her so that you wouldn't have to make her crane her neck more.
"So that whole 'Fazbear family' thing?" You enquired, making her hum as she thought about it for a second before realising what you were asking about.
"Oh! One of the owners is super family oriented, so he wants us to be a 'family'. So you know, we're not staff unless we're talking to a parent, if a kid asks you're 'A friend of...' well usually we say Freddy's, but you can pick whatever animatronic you like." She explained, navigating the distinctly plainer back-halls of the establishment, more concrete than the colourful explosion of the room itself. You supposed being surrounded by that much colour all day everyday was probably not good for you.
"So I'll be taking you to see Mr.Emily, he's the really nice one. He operates Fredbear occasionally too, but not so often now that he hurt his shoulder." Raising an eyebrow at her as you couldn't help but ask a question.
"So there's a not-so nice one?" Stacey snorted as you asked and rolled her eyes, giving you a tired smile and pausing in the hallway, looking both ways before speaking lowly to you.
"Yeah and no. Mr. Afton is... well he doesn't seem to be much a people person, stays in the workshop most of the day and occasionally comes out. But he's also like, the sole operator for the Spring Bonnie costume."
As she set off together with you, you couldn't help but wonder if Mr. Afton was perhaps just sick of being surrounded by screaming kids all day, but you thought about the fact that he was one of the bosses and found it admirable that both of them seemed so dedicated to remaining involved in the restaurant. Eventually you reached a set of doors, one on the left and the right, both with name-plates. The one on the left had a window next to the door, letting you peer inside at the jumble of paperwork stacked everywhere as well as a wall filled with children's drawings of the various animatronics, including a yellow bear and rabbit that you didn't really recognise from any of the information you had found about the place.
Stacey knocked on the door and waved through the window, smiling brightly as she opened the door after a moment's pause.
"Hey sir, sorry to bother you but this young lady was asking about a job."
You got your first glimpse of Henry Emily, his hair was dark and curly, kept relatively short, but he was tanned, his eyes green eyes begining to crinkle at the edges as he broke out into a wide welcoming smile. You could tell that he was a fairly slender man, dressed in a white shirt and yellow tie, his left arm in a dark blue sling but adorned with various stickers that you figured had been placed there by plenty of kids over the time it had been on. As he stood up, he was around average height, if slightly taller, extending his good hand out to you to shake.
"Sorry if you're a lefty, I'm on light duties whilst my shoulder heals up." He grinned, a warm mid-west accent creeping through before he gestured for you to come in and made a motion towards an unoccupied spot on a small fold-out chair near all the drawings.
"Stacey, you can take your fifteen now, grab yourself something to eat if you want. You must be tired already today, busy busy busy!" Henry smiled and you watched as Stacey smiled graciously, nodding before heading back down the corridor, giving you a little wave as she left.
Henry turned to you, giving you a warm welcoming smile as he took a seat again, leaving the door open and moving back and forth in the spinning office chair with his foot. Giving you a general look over as you tried to sit and make yourself presentable.
"What's your favourite animatronic?"
"Sir?" You asked, confused by the question initially, blushing as he chuckled and shuffled in his chair, gesturing to the image on his desk, one amongst a clutter of photo frames of him with what looked like a wife and a cute kid, and just the kid. But he was pointing to a photo with seven mascots in it.
"Which is your favourite? Everybody has a favourite whilst working here, or for a young lady like you, you surely had a favourite growing up and coming here!"
"Oh, I um.. I'm from out of town, I never grew up with Freddy's." You explained, somehow feeling embarrassed about the fact, watching as Mr. Emily's eyes went wide and he placed a hand over his heart, leaning back and making you concerned before he dramatically placed his hand on his forehead and then grinned at you.
"Don't worry about it kiddo, I know not everybody grew up around here. How about we walk around and I can show you them. Maybe you'll pick up a favourite!" He seemed genuinely to be excited to show you, so you followed him out of his office, glancing at the door opposite and reading the name on it, hearing a chuckle from Henry as he noticed you looking.
"Ah, that's my partner's office, William Afton. Unless you have a technical concern or issue, I'd keep out of his way. He's...." He paused as he tried to find the word to describe him without painting him in a bad light, his hand waving in the air in a small circle as if that would fan the word into his mind.
"He's more technology inclined?" You offered up, making the man besides you laugh and pat your shoulder in the way that a proud dad would.
"Yes! William is certainly more into robots than people, so unless you want to interview to join the workshop, I won't introduce you to him today."
Making your way back through the halls, you both came out into the pizzeria and the noise almost knocked you over. Henry smiled at you reassuringly though and kept close to you so that you wouldn't get lost on the floor, stopping and talking to people as he went, making them smile and laugh and you couldn't help but do so too. His happiness was infectious. But he spent the time infront of the stage and explaining who each animatronic was, a little bit of their backstory fore their 'lore' and what they did, including a stop by Pirate's Cove where you were introduced to Foxy, the pirate animatronic who was looking a little worse for wear compared to the others.
"He's been meaning to be fixed up, but now some of the kids quite like how he looks since apparently he 'looks like he's been on adventures'." Mr. Emily chuckled as you left the area, making you smile too.
"That is incredibly cute."
"So miss..." you gave your name as he trailed off, giving a nervous chuckle, him repeating it back to you with a sheepish smile. "when would you like to join the Fazbear family?"
