Okay so I was like super angry and irritated all day but when I get mad I cry and throw things so could you do something where the reader is doing just that and rafes comes to calm her down and theyyy 😏 you know

It was just one of those days where everything seemed to irritate you. Rafe had been busy with Barry but had promised to take you out to dinner that night. With your makeup and hair both done, you headed towards the walk in closet to find something to wear. You were frustrated with every little thing you put on, it either looking wrong or you didn’t understand why you bought it in the first place.

Rafe was in a good mood for once after money had been made. He was ready to take you out to dinner and then pound your guts in. He wasn’t expecting you to be in the disaster of the closet now, pretty face covered in hot tears.

“Hey. What is going on?” He asked, voice firm as he walked over to you. Kneeling down, he gripped your chin to make you look at him.

With a wobbly chin, you glanced at your boyfriend with sad eyes and a frustrated sigh. “I can’t find anything to wear…” You mumbled, the amount of clothes in the closet saying other wise.

Rafe’s jaw ticked, looking around the space and shaking his head. You were a spoiled fucking brat who got handed his amex card on the daily to go shopping and now you couldn’t find anything to wear. “Are you serious?” His tone, incredulous.

Rafe’s felt himself relax when he heard you say that. Pouty lips and pink tear streaked cheeks and you were still fucking perfect. “Fucking brat..” He said under is breath. “You need some dick to make you calm down? Show you how good you look to me.”

More on social systems, what is the Archivist hierarchy like? I suppose with this specific group a family unit but would it be like that amongst a different group?

Do they HAVE to listen to the oldest? What happens if they don't? Is it just an honor system, not to be rude but the Archivist don't seem like the most honorable bunch-

Oh, theyyy certainly aren't honorable, but they are very focused on their goals and it takes precedence over personal grudges. The organization within the groups varies a lot depending on how the group originally formed. In general, collectors try to establish and maintain an archive to further the goal of preserving life within the galaxy. Someting started after extinction event of an early world where the starchildren once lived when the universe was still young and mostly empty

After a while—through bit of trial and error—a single large archive where best way to descibe the leadership is "overpowered gremlin induced chaos" became impractical as the universe expanded. The collectors eventually split to cover more ground and prevent a scenario where life might vanish completly. That’s when smaller groups started to form. Some paired up, creating their own archives, older collectors taking in younger ones who weren’t yet ready to manage an archive on their own. Others formed groups with those they got along with, though that was rare, as there was a lot of ground to cover and few of them. Most though went alone

As time passed, new starchildren came into existence and were brought into these groups, figuring out organisation as they grew up within them. In case of this group after being split off from other collectors the Anatomist established archive before eventually finding other siblings who helped expand it. But as the universe continues to grow, it’s only a matter of time before this archive will have to split as well, which will change group dynamics all over again

With if they do have to listen to the oldest - not really? It all depends on how the dynamics between them play out and how their personalities fit together. Anyone with siblings knows that if one starts bossing the others around, they’re likely to be ignored. But they all care about their work so learned to cooperate. Oldest makes most of the decisions mostly due of their expertise in handling archive (....and having essentially had raised the younger ones), but for everything else, it’s handled on a case-by-case basis or fought about

ok.. ill only go over my descendent ocs because they're the ones ive been posting about recently, i have too many homestuck ocs to cover lol..

mayosi pyrope is the first descendent oc i made back when there was a brief trend on twitter to make, fan descendants of the trolls. i think i was inspired by ko's descendent acarid, and terezi being one of my favorite trolls i ended up making a bootleg pyrope. (and i draw them together all the time bc they rot my brain)

they're a radical transmasc weeaboo skater "vigilante" who grew up being raised by humans in a very normal average household where they got basically anything they wanted with no issues. their interests include; dishing out justice, watching animes, playing videogames, and doing sick tricks on their board. they wield a katana that resembles terezi's dragon cane.. they're my simplest designed character, and though they look a lot like terezi with a skirt and long hair their design was heavily influenced by dirk because i imagined that dirk has influenced some kind of anime character that mayosi obsesses over and has based their look on..

they aren't at all interested in, being a lawyer or anything like that and would like to take care of bad guys samurai batman style in their ideal world.. unfortunately the loving gently parenting of their human family didn't toughen them up enough so they're mostly a baby who doesn't do well when faced with conflict. mayosi's easily bossed around by anyone who firmly tells them to do something because they're too scared to step up and stand up for themself and others, they have a lot of shame for not being as strong and cool as terezi or red glare. real wet blanket.

uuuh like terezi, they weren't always blind. they were lured in by their ex best friend now super complex hate not boyfriend acarid and he poured acid into their eyes, ruining their vision and giving them crazy chem burn scars.. i think around this time they were also given their super rad pointy shades so they can look more like their hero, but it was a major blow to their confidence since not only are they a weak coward they're now a weak coward who can't see. they eventually learn to navigate the world via sound waves, its not as effective as terezi's sniff and taste vision but mayosi isnt as interested as smelling and licking everything in their presence.

theyyy are convinced by acarid to join him in his perfect sburb sesh, where they eventually grow a pair and cut off his arm and gouge his eyes before being shot in the brain and killed dead without ever waking on their moon. (sad) mayosi's feelings about acarid, who essentially abuses and manipulates them constantly, are very complicated because they feel an obligation to take on the brunt of his crazy in order to protect everyone but also because they cling to the nostalgic memories they have of him and are hoping he'll one day go back to that.

kokesi megido is based on kokeshi dolls, i think she sees ghosts and is really scared of them so she's super skittish and is always finding ways to shoo them away.. she probably knows how to speak japanese ig, i dont have a lot to say about her unfortunately.. i like how her design turned out though.

grimir maryam and romato vantas are brothers adopted into a rich human family, they're both spoiled brats and are constantly bickering with each other when they aren't pretending the other exists. grimir is mute and likes to garden (sooo original, i know) and romato speaks a lot and is a hopeless romantic writer. shrug.

i don't have as much to talk about. for any of my descendents other than mayosi because i have a really hard time developing ocs when i dont have people to bounce ideas off of. i mean most of mayosi was formed around acarid's existence and from ko's influence, otherwise they also wouldn't be developed . sorry .

You blinked back at the sunlight cutting across the patio, slowly seeing more of a silhouette talking to Bakugou. You elbowed him in the side until he nodded as if you’d spoken.

“Oh. Just Kaminari.”

“Just? What kinda’ intro is that.” The blue shades slid back into his hair, showing off the creases around his eyes when his smile widened at you.

“Hel-“

“Sorry, but you are so pretty.” You paused at the interruption, tilting your head to take in his expression and features.

“Oh? Thanks. You’re pretty too.” You turned back to the man beside you. “Gonna grab a drink. See you guys inside?”

“Um…dude?”

“Hmm?”

“Did they just shoot me down or?”

“Don’t know. Don’t care.”

You heard the scraping of a chair as you wandered into the building. The air was much cooler than the summer you’d left on the other side of glass. Yet the bakery atmosphere was thick with cinnamon, meeting you with a different sort of warmth. You jumped as a hand wound around your waist. You relaxed into it as you saw the pink skin tone.

“Mina, I almost smacked the shit out of you.”

“Um, you should smack people who grab you.”

The guys caught up as you wriggled loose of your friend’s grip. She squealed just as you broke free.

“I love your earrings!” Your hand flew up to your ears, curious which ones you’d put on earlier. You found the cool surface of clay polymer and laughed.

“Thanks, they’re my new favorites.”

“Mmm, I like ‘em too. Didn’t even notice them at first. Only saw that beautiful face.” You turned your smile to Kaminari as he fell into the seat beside Mina.

“I’ll have to let the guy know he should work harder at the earrings if my face is stealing the attention.” Your eyes darted to the table, seeing she had already started breakfast without you. “I’m gonna grab a coffee. You good?” Mina took a large bite of the muffin she’d been working on and waved you off in the direction of the counter.

“The fuck keeps happening?”

“What? If you spilled on my fur again, I’m covering you in acid.”

“They-dude, I don’t even have anything. What would I spill? Wait… wasn’t I annoyed about something other than you?” You caught the sound of a soft slap. “Ow.”

You took your time looking through the display case and menu, letting their bickering float around you. Mina seemed to have countless faux brothers she bantered with like this.

“Oh, so am I broken or are theyyy?” The blonde’s voice morphed into a whine…very younger brother of him. “I mean, NO reaction? I’m not that fuckin’ low on the hero charts, what’s the deal?”

“Hmm. Maybe they don’t like blondes…or idiots.”

“Shut your-“

You turned just in time to see a pink finger flick a forehead. You sipped at your drink, hovering near the chair they’d left open for you once you reached the table.

“They don’t have a problem with blondes.” You smiled at the way Bakugou chimed in without looking up from his phone. He always seemed to be actively listening to his friends no matter what he was pretending to be more focused on.

“Sorry, kami…they just don’t like you then.”

Bakugou finally looked up at you when you still hadn’t settled into the seat beside him. You shook your drink at him, rattling the ice.

“This is really good. Sure you didn’t want one? It’s a new spiced one.”

“What about meee?” You laughed. The whine still hadn’t left Kaminari’s tone. He really was giving off younger sibling energy.

“Spiced? You seem like you prefer the sugary stuff.”

“You’re so sweet I could skip the sugar.” You hummed, processing the information.

“So you want me to get you a spiced one?”

His mouth fell open. “What? No, I-“ You sat down, watching his desperate gaze fly from a laughing Mina to a smirking Bakugou. “What…is…happening…to me?”

“They’re just not great with that.” You furrowed your brows as a pink hand gave unsolicited head pats, tugging your head away from her reach after she got a couple taps in.

“What does that EVEN mean?”

Someone grabbed your drink from your loosened grip as you swatted at the pink attack that was never ending.

“They didn’t even realize we were dating for a few weeks.” Bakugou took a long sip from your drink. “That is good.”

“Hey! I said I’d get you your own.” You yanked it back, frowning at the new level halfway down the ice. “What’re you guys talkin’ about anyway?”

“How pretty you are.” You rolled your eyes, shoving him out of his chair.

“Haha. Very funny. Go buy me another one of these, you monster.”

“Sure thing, beautiful.” You smacked his hand away as it pinched at your heated cheek. You saw Kaminari’s mouth was open.

“What…is…HAPPENING?” You laughed as Mina pet him like a dog.

my thoughts on bly manor because i just finished watching it for the first time:

HOW DARE THEYYY 😭😭😭😭 oh my god it was beautiful. grief, love, rage, love again. the story was written really well, and i loved the plot twists. every character was important. everything was connected. i love when everything is revealed to me at the end, and the questions that i’ve had the whole time get answered. the amount of love you can hear in jamie’s voice as she narrates is what gets me. i thought they were gonna be a cute little side love story. to see them be so important at the end RUINEDDD me. dani’s ghost being guilt with a splash of comphet was so perfect. the parallel of viola not being able to look in a mirror either was a nice touch, i think. dani finally being able to see her reflection only to have that be taken away from her at the end was sick, though. speaking of viola, i liked her character a lot. until, of course, the end. “she would sleep. she would wake. she would walk.” haunts me. she spent an eternity (in life and in death) doing that. i wish her and her sisters love was stronger than their love for that man.

peter quint reminds me of that saying that’s like “some guys take a beautiful girl and hide her away from the rest of the world.” rebecca had so much ahead of her, and he took that from her. i will also never forgive him for killing hannah. i felt a little bad about his death, but once i saw that he killed her i was so over him.

hannah’s stubbornness and will to live, to stay, was beautiful. she really loved those kids, and i mourned her as if she was a real person :/. in another life, she and owen are living in a batter place. they didn’t have enough time.

miles and flora were worrying me the entire show. i was relieved to see that them being weird was just peter and rebecca controlling them. i was so happy rebecca changed her mind because they were really growing on me. i know it was what was best for them, but i’m really sad that they don’t even remember hannah or dani.

and jamie, oh jamie. my beautiful perfect lesbian jamie. i don’t think i’ve ever seen a character be so incredibly sapphic. her love for dani was beautiful. so much so that i will be thinking about it for the next 10 years. she still waits for her lady of the lake😭😭 “but dani wouldn’t. dani would never.” what if that was my last straw 😞😞 “she couldn’t sacrifice her most important person. not for one more day.” NOOOOOOOOO😭😭😭

the filming was beautiful too. the details in every scene were nearly perfect, and i loved the lighting and soundtrack.

anyway all that to say, i’m obsessed and i will never be the same. go watch it if you haven’t already!

in contrast to how openly crowley is always watching aziraphale - staring even - intent and contemplative and fixed - but he almost never lets himself touch aziraphale. thinking about how much aziraphale is going to just look at crowley when they’re finally together. just so much of crowley going slightly squirmy under all that focus, aware it’s ridiculous for him to be able to dish it out but hardly be able to take it. “what is it, angel?” “oh, nothing, darling.”

OMGGG HAIII!!!

Technicallyyy 4? I played through the game on all seasons but my other MCs aren't as fleshed out (and I haven't drawn them...) — but I'll talk about what I have anyway!

So obviously Chi was my first baby girl, autumn, romancing Percy straight away, I yap about her a lot already but here's a fun fact I haven't mentioned yet, her full name is Chi Huệ Aubade, very cool!

My next mc was Mika (she's sort recycled from olba, sorta not because I hate the idea of being unfaithful to cove, idk if that makes sense just the way my brain works) she's a summer and... well I was supposed to romance Elio... but then the Percy summer meeting hit me like a truck and I went for him again... now she probably won't get fleshed out but I'm thinking of doing a male mc elio summer run (for real this time, no percy shenanigans)

And then I have my spring mc, Nari, and- I will admit I was very close to reromancing Percy but no! they are a Jamie romance (slowwburn tho) cause I found the cupcake confrontation was so good with a spring personality. So they're uh, well to describe them, in a word, they're self-assured (technically two but semantics). They're extremely competent and they know it, they have a big ego and tend to be overconfident, brash and competitive. Andd they also have a crippling fear of emotional connection and an avoidant attachment style. love my little guys who are so smart yet so very stupid. Anyway their dynamic with Jamie is sort of teasing? They were expecting to be annoyed by him bcos of his reputation but they ended up liking him more than they thought. They have a sort of "people disappoint me" expectation, a lot of the friends and relationships they've had in the past were shallow (not for lack of trying? but nari really didn't put any effort in) they only really mesh with deja and cam and don't even try to form deeper relationships with others, the boys are the first friends they've made in a while, and their first time besides with cam and deja actually trying to connect with people. They're an ISTJ and fun fact about them theyyy are very good at chess.

And lastly my winter mc, Yumi (name pending.) they're my no romance route (or slowburn? it depends how it plays out I guess). They're... to describe them in one word. Chill (lol). They're an artist turned law student and they are very go with the flow. They are also doing a minor of sociology! They stopped painting in their last year of highschool because they were told they needed to start taking things seriously (they had pretty bad-average grades before). While they're generally patient and relaxed, when they do get angry, they are no holds barred, cussing out authority figures, not a single thought in that brain, they get very passionate when they're being confrontational. They're an INTP and fun fact about them they know how to skateboard.

Okay I've mentioned before Chi's a 2w3, little lore drop, she's got family issues (eldest daughter in an asian family /hj) but yeah there's a lot of pressure from that direction, that's part why she's doing a law degree (polisci? I forget how it is in america), she was rushed into picking a degree and just went with what she was best at. Anyway I should probably explain the enneagram oops, OKAY, so she has a type 2 fixation, which basically means, she's got a gaping hole where her self esteem is and she tries to patch that up by creating relationships (people pleaser...), that's why she tries to be as helpful as possible all the time, she's got a deep seated fear of abandonment and feels like she can only be loved if she's providing some sort of support (usually as an emotional dumping ground) to the other person.

Buttt, thankfully when she got to college she met Deja and Cam, who did NOT fuck with that kinda behaviour so she's slowly getting better, I imagine over the course of her time at college she gets better at loving herself and sets boundaries with her parents, fixes the relationship (the other drama is she has younger siblings who are still with them and yeah) idk I just like writing character arcs like this it helps me understand my ocs better I think

onto my other mcsss:

uhh Mika's a 7w8, but I'm gonna skip her since she'll probably get reworked into something else anywayyy

so Nari has a type 5 fixation, their whole deal is they need to feel competent, need to feel like they understand the world around them because it's a scary place and if something doesn't fit in with the way they understand things that means they understand nothing. Anyway, their little character arc would actually be centred on the relationship, it's a story about them accepting emotional vulnerability, letting down their walls, losing their rigid world view, and choosing to trust in another person and fall in love :3

Yumi (name pending) has a type 9 fixation, their problem is... well basically, on the surface, they're confident, calm, collected, composed (heh alliteration), they really seem like they've got it all together but internally they've resigned themself to being another cog in the machine. They've lost their passion in life and they're stuck in the pit of "it is what it is". Their character arc would probably involve them dropping out of college and pursuing something they actually care about, that being art.
