After way too long, the results are out! I'm so sorry I'm so late, I got hit with the 'Ao3 writer curse' (PC broke twice, laptop stopped working, travelled to another country, started a new dnd campaign, quit another dnd campaign, fostered a dog- etc.ectc.)

I ADORE Greek mythology, so your game is really a dream come true. I especially love it when people make their own spin on the Persephone and Hades tale. Good, romantic, non incestuous, consensual romance!! And the whole also being Dionysus thing is SO interesting. Considering he's a god with a mortal parent, I'm super interested in your take with the MC! <3

Who was, or did you even have, a queer character on TV that really made you feel seen? For me it was Syd from One Day at A Time, who used the same pronouns as me. I never really knew how great that representation felt until I saw Syd, and it was a big boost to my transgender identity.

I had plenty of characters that accidentally helped me realize who I always was.

But, growing up, there wasn’t anything really like that. Most there were was characters played as gross tropes or disgusting stereotypes.

The most predominant “representation” I had when I was young was Jerry Springer... couple that with the fact that my family loved that show and loved to make fun of everyone on it... you could say it was a pretty awful experience.

There’s a lot more now that are handled, especially in indie projects, but in major shows/movies it still feels like I have to put up a shield and prepare myself for “the inevitable.”

I’ve had so many folks come to me and eagerly show me “representation” in something only for me to be just woefully disappointed by it.

I’m HAPPY big companies are trying, don’t get me wrong, and I want them to keep trying despite the constant stumbling. They’ll never actually make progress if they don’t KEEP TRYING. But I do get tired of seeing the same mistakes over and over again.

That said, I have to say that indie projects are primarily where I find actual accurate and intentional rep is finding its foothold best!

This is such a loaded question, I baret scratched the surface of my feelings too... I could probably speak on it for hours at length.

I hope this all made sense? I feel like I’m rambling now hahaha.

Hi! Hebe update if you'd like. On today's session we discovered that Hebe's ex fiancee, (who left her pregnant at the aisle) had been kidnapped by her grandmother. Her grandmother is a lvl 20 assassin. This has no bearing on the overall plot.

but that's how it IS when you have younger siblings they're ALWAYS a baby!!! i call my youngest brother my "baby brother" still and he's 17!!!! aelwyn is like 17/18, barely older than adaine's 15/16, and she still says "she's just a baby" and that's still fucking me up 20 hours later. especially because the way Aelwyn was acting through that whole sequence has me thinking that she was at least partially flashing back to when they were even younger than they still are..... the abernant sisters............man. that line got me right in my big-sister heart.
