I got all those CDs too!! I got SUUUUUUUPER lucky and managed to snag a copy signed by Hidenori Iwasaki and Ryo Yamazaki!!! The only signatures missing from the people who worked on it are Kumi Tanioka and Donna Burke

Another mini (but expensive) FFCC haul

CDs! I went nuts and bought the rest of the series' OSTs (with the exclusion of the My Life as a King and My Life as a Dark Lord mini album, it's digital-only). Surprisingly enough, the Crystal Bearers special OST is still in its original shrink wrap????? I'm hoping to get the cover arts and booklets scanned, and the CD's ripped after peak season ends at work.

...And hiding under the CDs is the one thing that made this haul Expensive™: the Doremi Ring of Fates piano score book. Even though it's worn, used and has several pages with notes scrawled all over, it still cost me 8200 yen. This will also eventually go on the chopping block to get scanned, edited, and uploaded to Internet Archive.

A magazine! Specifically the February 2010 issue of Nintendo Dream. This issue is a bit special because they have a section showcasing New Years illustrations from various game artists (the relevant one here being Itahana's illustration of Layle). The illustration pages will be getting debound and scanned this weekend (the illustration pages are already online and can be found on Flickr, however the scans are from 2009), I have a very special project planned for that Layle illustration. Scans for the whole magazine will be TBD as I have A Stack of magazines to go through (half of which haven't been debound yet)

Last but not least, I have finally finished out the Square Enix Cafe keychain set!! All I have left that's missing from my collection are the Moogle stamp towel (on order), the Selkie pattern towel and the Moogle clear pouch (both of which STILL mockingly evade me)

Tilika IS alive in the perfect world though!

Yes Kolka mentions that in each reality his daughter dies, thus the only way to break the cycle is if a NEW world is created, which the twins do by creating the perfect world. You can visit the perfect world by waiting to play multiplayer until after you beat the game. Your multiplayer character can talk to the gang in the village, and if you help Kolka revive the kingdom by completing all the multiplay quests he retires and Tilika becomes the Queen!

I always tell people to check out the multiplay mode AFTER they beat the story mode, it's got a bunch of hidden gems and the scenes between the characters are super cute!

Big Ring of Fates spoilers: it just hit me why King Kolka mentions that his fate can’t be changed at the end. If it could, then we’d be total assholes to wish for that perfect childhood for Yuri and Chelinka. They only grew up in that village with Al and Meeth because Kokla’s daughter died, so Yuri and Chelinka’s parents felt ashamed and resigned from palace life. If Kolka’s family wasn’t bound by fate, how awkward would their first meeting in the new world go?

New Armor Legend Samurai Troopers

not on my bingo card for 2025 but Sunrise is making a new Yoroiden Samurai Troopers Anime and I am freaking out

The series debuts in January, is set in modern Shinjuku, and features five new Armor-bearers including Gai, the Rekka bearer (Wildfire). We get flashes of the rest of the team, with their virtues displayed on the back of the neck and in a more archaic font:

This started as Practice at using 3D models in CSP and turned into one of my OCs! I can't believe I did this in less than 5 hours the 3D background cut my painting time in half!

That's it! I've finished redesigning the trio of troublemakers!! (except for the childhood arc I gotta finish those lol) my babies have finally had their designs updated I'm glad! (Now for the other 20 characters…. RIP me TwT)
