Garbage Hulk: Avenger (ゴミの巨人復讐者, "Gomi no Kyojin Fukushū-sha") is a 1986 Japanese side-scroller arcade game, where the player is Sato, a mopey and put-upon Tokyo garbage man. He has to fling garbage the player collects at demons from Japanese folklore, before they profane a sacred spring, which will destroy the world.

An NES port was released in North America in 1989 under the title Junkrunner. In this version, the protagonist and game sprite were changed to Ace Buster, a muscular nuclear technician pursuing the evil Dr. Zyence, who had kidnapped Ace's girlfriend Jennifer and is defending himself with an army of radioactive mutants. The gameplay was virtually unchanged, but stillframe cutscenes were added, detailing the new story.

A port for various microcomputers was released in Europe in 1990. Here it was called Lugrayza, and all enemy demon sprites were replaced with robots with green blood. Also, instead of trash, the player now throws nutritious vegetables. Only the French version had cutscenes, and these are poorly-translated from the North American version, with the protagonist's name inexplicably changed to Jon Bon Hovi. The name "Lugrayza" is never explained.

This version was also adapted for sale in Turkey the same year, under the name "Haksızlıklarla Mücadele Eden Amcam" (My Uncle Who Battles Grave Injustice). This was as an artificial tie-in to a popular Turkish movie from 1978 of the same name, in which a homeless, nameless goatherd uses martial arts to battle drug-selling gangs, following a vision from God. The film is notorious for using the unaltered score from the American film Smokey and the Bandit.

Another port, faithful to the Japanese arcade original, was released in Brazil in 2005 for the Bazorna, a native console by the toy company TOY!, based on officially-licensed PS1 hardware. This console, with the game as a preloaded pack-in title, was still selling more than 90,000 units a year in Brazil, as of 2017.

All versions of this game were banned for sale in Australia, due to "mystical trash-related violence," until 2011.

Odds are it'll be yourself, so blinded by the lights you don't even notice where the weapon is pointed.

First off this absolutely cursed AU was inspired by Lemonomelette and a post they made -X Secondly I imagine it all being about bots and cons trying to one up each others factions and not actually helping in any serious way because their too busy with their own faction bs.

Think of two rival car dealerships across the street one upping each other to get business and instead of business with cars its interstellar robot fairys trying to woo sm children to let them grant their inconsequential wishes (which may or may not be worth it) instead of the other guy next door.
