Innocent little church boy who gets lost and ends up in the forest and when he's just about to call for help, the social reject loser teen who hangs in the forest smoking pot invites him to his little clubhouse to hangout ! (he's gonna molest him in an abandoned ruined building and use his cheap zippo lighter to burn the sweet boy's skin. After every Sunday he'll end up getting "lost" again)

For anyone reading this, it is about hour 10 and still no Ao3. Not sure how much longer we'll last here, we're getting desperate, we've already lost some to Wattpad and Fanfic.net. Wish the rest of us luck.
Update: we have finally gotten access to our beloved Ao3. We shall rise once again.
Update #2: It's been also 24h with out Ao3, we managed to make minimum contact last night, but this morning, we again lost contact. Our readers are struggling, praying to your gods or deities, or whatever you believe I have a feeling we're going to be here for a while.
Update #3: After over 24 hours, we are finally officially back, and we have been rescued by our great Ao3 gods.

can't help but think like, bro. if you wanted to attack the archive, good job i guess?
but if you actually wanted to erase the queer + nsfw + queer nsfw content that ao3 houses...good fucking luck, dude (sarcastic).
people are always going to create. people are always going to be exploring the meaning of humanity or morality or any complex emotion through their art.
governments and groups alike have tried to censor literature in history. that sort of sentiment has indeed led to book burnings and regimes and horrible ways of attempting to control the human mind. but do you know what it didn't do? it didn't fucking stop those writers. it didn't stop their responses. it didn't stop efforts to restore and preserve after the worst had passed.
like, if that is your unironic objective for this whole situation. i don't know what to tell you. lol. humans, we are always going to create. queer people, we're always going to have pride in our identity and expression. authors and artists and creators, we are always writing and drawing and creating for ourselves, for our inquiry, and for our communities.
if ao3 really goes down for a prolonged period of time, people will find other ways. if you take away one website, people will move to others. if you take every one of those down (and i hope it drives you bankrupt doing so), then, eventually, people will create their own archives. online. in real life. of course it won't be the same. and it'll be difficult. but, i guess my point is that we won't stop.
like imagine telling a human to stop making art. lol. companies will stop doing something if it doesn't make a profit, but we aren't creating for money. what we're creating for, our causes and motives and passions, are things a cyber attack/acts of hate will always fail to stifle and take away.

it was less of an issue when the only OCs i tagged on this blog had fairly unique monikers like arjibi and dogmark and fishwoman but man it is NOT functional whatsoever to have character tags that are just common normal-ass english names huh
sort of a weird evolution from how i USED to collect my OC posts, which was on an entirely separate blog and used an entirely different tag system i guess. i could get away with just tagging their name because they ALSO had additional context-giving tags along with them
but like outside of my friends and mutuals who are familiar with my characters, who's gonna see me tagging a post as #kenneth and assume it's about my special beloved blorbo and not some guy i know named kenneth who i want to know i reblogged this post for him

Hurray! AO3 donation page is back up
Please reblog to share the news
If the recent distributed-denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks helped you realise, perhaps yet again, how much you value this well-crafted platform sustained by a dedicated team of volunteers so you can access your faves among the 11 million original works of fiction, NOW is a wonderful time to show your gratitude in one of two practical ways. Or both! Both is good.

(COUGHING UP BLOOD) WAIT IM NOT DONE YET do you guys ever think abt how the kh 2.5 hd remix of rage awakened has vocals in it. Like. Its (to my knowledge) the only "official"/in-game version of the track that uses vocals and theyre SO subtle they almost blend in with the rest of the instrumentation and ambience of the music but theyre There. What if you had a set of haunted hollowed out armor animated by a shattered fragment of its original owner's memories, a silent and lifeless and empty shell of metal and cloth, a weapon left behind by its wielder, trapped in a dead and abandoned world, stripped of anything organic like a heart or a Voice. And what if you gave it a song. And what if you gave that song the most human instrument there is
