Say not to anxiety with CBD
Tumblr media
Anxiety is a common mental health condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It can cause feelings of worry, fear, and nervousness that can interfere with daily life. While there are several pharmaceutical treatments available for anxiety, many people are turning to natural remedies like CBD (Cannabidiol).
CBD is a compound derived from the cannabis plant, but unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), another well-known cannabis compound, CBD does not produce psychoactive effects. Instead, it interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system, which plays a role in regulating mood, stress responses, and other physiological processes.
Research suggests that CBD may have potential therapeutic effects for anxiety. It may help reduce symptoms associated with social anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and other anxiety-related conditions. CBD may help regulate the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood, and help reduce the production of cortisol, a hormone associated with stress.

That "Doctor Zaza" spam message is not only freaking halarious, but it's gotten me curious as to what Fake Peppino would look like if he was just high af
...... you wanna know what the dumb thing is.
this IS something i've legitimately had a couple headcanons about hehe 😅
for my Fake Peppino, since he absorbs stuff so well, if by chance he ended up ingesting any smoke or edible into his system, it'd hit him HARD, getting him so out of it and relaxed that he'd barely be able to keep form. literally just a living goop pile at that point.
Tumblr media
(lost in the sauce........)
and another thing, he'd be even clingier to friends/others around him than normal. probably going up to Peppino or somebody and trying to wrap around them, which, at that point, wouldn't even be dangerous at all from how goopy he is. it would just be real sticky.
Tumblr media
the good, goopy boy just wants to be real clingy now.

pushok is very arthritic now and has a mass growing in his abdomen that we've decided would be too invasive and and costly to put him through, especially as a 9yo big dog that only likes maybe 3 people. he's getting shots for arthritis and we're seeing if CBD will make any difference but right now i'm just hoping he pulls through to his 10th birthday in july..

The patient is doing better today. She's had an appetite. Last night's dinner was almost all gone this morning. She's very mellow, too. I think kitty CBD is helping. She just had 2 drops on her gums vs the recommended half dropper.
She is better about finding things though I wonder if she found the litter in the nick of time last night because the pee pad surrounding it was wet in an area. She's been better about being in the box and hadn't needed it for about 3 weeks
She's currently purring 😻

i say i'm having problems sleeping since i've been taking this mood stabilizer. the nurse practitioner says do you want to try an antipsychotic. my therapist says that antipsychotic sounds like it won't help you have you considered weed gummies.

CBD, anxiety and stress : how to improve everyday life ?
Anxiety and stress are common mental health issues that can greatly impact our everyday lives. They can lead to a range of physical and mental health problems, including insomnia, depression, and even heart disease. While there are several pharmaceutical treatments available for anxiety and stress, many people are turning to natural remedies like CBD (Cannabidiol).
CBD is a compound derived from the cannabis plant, but it doesn't produce psychoactive effects like THC. Instead, it interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system, which plays a role in regulating mood, sleep, appetite, and more. Research suggests that CBD may have potential therapeutic effects for anxiety and stress.
So, how can you improve your everyday life with CBD? Here are some tips:
Choose high-quality CBD products
When choosing CBD products, it's important to do your research and choose a reputable brand. Look for products that have been third-party tested for purity and potency, and read reviews from other users. Consider consulting with a healthcare professional before starting a CBD regimen.
Experiment with dosage and delivery method
Everyone's body is different, so finding the right CBD dosage and delivery method may take some experimentation. Some people prefer to take CBD oil sublingually, while others prefer capsules or topical products. Start with a low dosage and gradually increase until you find the right amount for you.
Practice mindfulness techniques
CBD can be a helpful tool for managing anxiety and stress, but it's important to also practice mindfulness techniques like meditation, deep breathing, and yoga. These practices can help reduce stress and promote relaxation.
Prioritize self-care
Self-care is important for overall well-being, and can help alleviate symptoms of anxiety and stress. Make time for activities you enjoy, like reading, spending time in nature, or taking a relaxing bath. Exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and get plenty of restful sleep.
Seek professional help if necessary
While CBD can be a helpful tool for managing anxiety and stress, it's important to seek professional help if symptoms persist or worsen. A healthcare professional can help determine the best course of treatment for you, which may include therapy or medication.
In conclusion, CBD may offer potential benefits for managing anxiety and stress, but it's important to approach it as one tool in a comprehensive approach to self-care. By choosing high-quality products, experimenting with dosage and delivery method, practicing mindfulness techniques, prioritizing self-care, and seeking professional help if necessary, you can improve your everyday life and manage anxiety and stress more effectively.

so like. out of curiosity. if i went "what the heck why not" and got a chapstick with *squints at product info* 75 mg of full-spectrum cbd in it. i am pretty sure i am not at risk of living out the "forever brownie mishap" meme given that it's mainly cbd and not massive amounts of thc in it, and also i do not eat lip balm directly, but i'm curious what kinds of effects it will have if i use it. is it like. numbing? does it take a significant slathering of chapstick to have any real effect on one's mental state?
idk the tism wants to know what i'm going into here and i keep seeing people tout cbd as a miracle oil and i've already experienced how wrong that narrative is when applied to essential oils of the non-hemp kind

Should make a pain killer that actually kills (or even touches) pain
#not that I have access to ultra hardcore stuff#but even when I had... pretty sure it was vicodine for my wisdom teeth; it didn't do a thing for me#cbd based stuff seems like it maybe helps; certainly does more than nsaids which do nothing for pain (great for inflammation though)#but I just... I'd really like something that actually makes my muscles and joints feel like... good; unpain#I'm sure it would be classified as addictive whatever it was but like... fuck man... I just want to not hurt#I can't tell if I have chronic pain cause... I kinda forget to pay attention when I'm hurting a lot of the time#I'll just... kinda realize I've been hurting bad all day and just not really focusing on it#and I also don't know how often it happens; if it's once a day or once a month or what; not great at noting that stuff down#but man... I don't even like most meds; so many meds either do nothing for me or make me feel like shit#like... benedril? however you spell it; someone gave me some once said it would help me sleep... help me be awake feeling like ass more lik#but like... love to see if muscle relaxants actually like... relaxed my muscles; but you get it; you get why I'll never be able to try it#though honestly I think therapeutic massage might help me a lot#but my doc says that really only gets authorized by physical therapy and... well for me physical therapy is useless#cause I forget to do the exercise; like it's me failing a physical therapy; not a probably with physical therapy#if I ever think I can keep up with it I'd love to try physical therapy for my back again; but I don't want to waste all my chances at it#not when... I descriptively didn't do it when I was in it before; I'd never remember to do any of the exercises#anyway; bonus story from when I was in urgent care when the infection came back (that's still never been solved)#I tell the doc 'last time it tore open a drainage hole it was the worst pain I've ever felt'... cause it was#I said 'I'll need something a bit stronger than an nsaid cause the nsaid did nothing but cut inflammation last time'#she's like 'don't worry; I got you'... wanna guess what she gave me? a newer nsaid#it didn't do shit; I was just lucky and it wasn't as painful... maybe the old drainage hole tore open easier this time#but I didn't even take the nsaid she prescribed; so I'm gonna say it wasn't that med helping#like I get it; you don't want to give opioids... and would it shock you to know that wasn't what I was looking for either#there's gotta be something between nsaid and fentynol man#...well... maybe the cdb has almost got my muscles... hurting less at least; only taken all this time I've been writing#they still hurt for sure... I don't know... get tired; you know?#mm tag so i can find things later
